Tirek has won his fight against Twilight and decides to ensure his victory in full instead of storming off to destroy Equestria. Too bad there is someone that can stop him.

Now Spike is forced to act to protect his friends thanks to someone doing something that wasn't in the plans of Celestia. Rather impressive considering no one else had tried to do the same before.

July 16, 2013: I hope I haven't made a terrible mistake by allowing fan fic suggestions for combatants. It'll take me forever to read through all of those works for potential abilities used. Sombra had failed to take over the Crystal Kingdom. However, where the Shadow failed, when together with the Light, success was inevitable. Victorious and with the Crystal Kingdom in his thrall, Overlord Lueur, or Chrome Windcutter as he was known before his fall, looks on as the Equestrian army was mobilized to rescue the Crystal Kingdom. As he watched, the dark lord remembers his past.
