OOooo, short chapter, but it reminds me of that weird ass kid from Batman Beyond who had the weird connection to the construction robot. The dialogue makes me think of that.

7451786 Yes it was and honestly it was a bit uncomfortable to write. But we had to have some build up for Zen and before this he hadn't really done anything. So now, he destroyed Manehattan, which has showcased some of his capabilities and demonstrates what a threat he is. Discomfort can be fun and necessary sometimes, like here.

To be honest, my mental imagery kept going back and forth as I kept reading and​ guessing who the speaker was. Was it Lightning Claw, Vice Grip, that alternative Evil Dan who somehow survived?

Even if I didn't take a break when I did, I doubt that I would have guessed that it was 'The Director' speaking. (Then again, I'm not exactly the best when it comes to guessing reveals before they happen.)
