Fluttershy and Rarity spend an afternoon partaking in idle chit-chat, but conversation turns to confession when Rarity learns that Fluttershy doesn’t consider herself beautiful and never has. Rarity was the last pony Fluttershy thought would understand, but Rarity has a secret of her own, and Fluttershy comes to realize they aren't so different after all.
It’s not very romance-y until the end, but it needs the tag anyway. It wouldn't be a Rarishy ship without it!

I cried, letting tears sizzle down my cyborg side. As they burned, I wiped them off, growling. I opened the door to the hospital, now abuzz with conversation and nurses. I tried to ignore the strange looks that I received as I walked down the hallway to the room.
Can't anypony at least TRY to hide it?
I walked quicker, slamming the door behind me as I walked into the hospital room, sitting on the bed.
The stallion looked up, he now had tea. I didn't like him being so comfortable in MY room. “Get out.” I growled.
He shrugged and walked out of the room, closing the door slowly, letting more ponies get a glimpse of me. I grabbed a picture of the mane 6 and I, pulling it close. A tear rolled down my face. My face suddenly grew hot as I realized a dark truth. I had powers now. I could surely USE them. I threw the picture across the room, shattering as it fell.
If the world isn't going to love me, I’ll teach it to FEAR me instead.

Unfortunately this sets Rarity on a crash course with emotions she had been trying very hard to keep under wraps. How will Ponyville cope when the prim and proper unicorn spends a summer giving in to her wilder, more passionate side? And how will Rarity cope when the desire to turn a friendship into something more becomes overwhelming?
Rated T for normalising alcohol use and unashamed Rarishy/Flarity shipping.

It's like... Shy is still Shy, but cooler? Not quite. It's complicated. Rainbow wasn't actually planning to do anything about it, though. Not until Applejack stuck her nose into Rainbow's business.
Still, maybe it will be okay. She just has to talk to Shy, right?
