//------------------------------// // The Magical Unite // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Universe 28. Empress Twiligh's spare Palace. At the moment, the guard who had jumped through the gateway to rescue Premium Polish was now in the worst-case scenario he could ever be in. He had recently shoved Tempest through the gateway which led him here. Now he was backed into a corner. Figuratively and literally. "Good job. You played the hero and look at where you are now." Tempest spoke to the single Canterlot Guard who was heavily surrounded. "Hehe." He laughed nervously. "It worked well with others before." After speaking, multiple weapons were pointed at the single guard. There was not much he could do. His Golurk was back at Universe One. However, Canterlot Guards now came with two Pokemon. But, he couldn't unleash it now due to the spot he was in. Unfortunately, he would have to wait. "But you're in luck. You can become a part of the Empress' Empire now that you're here. Take this one to the cells and prepare him for a proper change." With that, Tempest's troops had picked the guard off the floor. In a sort of lucky break, the Empress never destroys troops from her opposing enemies' side. She always goes for the option of turning them to her side. However, the invasion might've been an exception. The guard sighed as he realized the situation he had gotten himself in. But he was still banking on his last Pokemon to save him. The only Pokemon aside from Golurk. He just had to wait for it. As for Premium Polish, Skyblue Shine had brought her daughter to the Empress at last. She succeeded in her mission. Even if meant seeing her daughter crying and upset at her, much to Skyblue Shine's chagrin. "A job well done, Skyblue Shine." said the Empress as she had used her magic to restrain Premium Polish, allowing Skyblue to rest. "Hello, little one. This is your first time seeing my face, isn't it? Or rather, you already have in the form of my younger self." "Nyeh!" Premium stuck her tongue out at the Empress. She wasn't afraid of her at all. Empress Twilight scoffed at her insult. "Now that you're here, your greater destiny can be formed. One that, in all honesty, should've been done ages ago. You know what I mean by that, Skyblue Shine. But your daughter here, not so much." "What destiny? I don't get it!" Premium wailed before flailing her hooves around. "To put it in a short sentence, you'll be the passage for the Magical Unite." There. She had revealed it to the little unicorn but it was still up in the air. "Magical...Unite?" "The ultimate way of uniting everyone. Not just in this universe. But across every other. The Magical Unite is a force of power that connects all magic in this world and others. From Equestria to the Badlands and even uncharted territories. It activates when the greatest form of magic is spread out and hits the cosmos themselves within 6 days and engulfs every planet, every star, galaxy, it doesn't matter." "A-And...what's that great form of magic?" Premium's fear was finally showing as she wasn't too fond of how this Magical Unite was sounding. "The Magic of Friendship, of course. One that I had perfected. No greater force than it. And within you resides a semblance of it. When you were made for this specific part of your destiny, you needed something that would eventually spark the Magical Unite. There was no better option than the Magic of Friendship. With it, the magic can spread at an amazing rate with nothing to stop it." "Inside of me? But why? And what does it even do?" "The Magical Unite will unite everyone, as I've already said. But more importantly, much like my loyal soldiers throughout the Empire, they will be under my control. Showing and teaching the Magic of Friendship to other worlds isn't so easy anymore. Improvisations were made. That's where the Magical Unite comes in." "You're gonna control everyone! That's not friendship!" Premium pouted while yelling at the Empress. "And why me?!" "Why? There was nothing suitable at all. If I wanted to do so, that would require myself being in a... less unpleasant state. But an android was the perfect solution. Of course, you're unaware of why this is the case. But you'll find out soon enough." "No way! I don't wanna do something horrible!" Mom!" "Your mother has no say in this. Her mind has been made up, little Premium." Empress Twilight laughed while nudging the little unicorn's head. "Dear. Understand that in just 6 days, it'll all be over. Your purpose won't last that long at all." Skyblue went up to her daughter. "Just wait for those days to pass." "I thought you were good, mom. W-Why are you doing this?" The filly started crying oil from her eyes as Skyblue Shine couldn't stand to see her like this as always. "Were you always bad?" "Sentiments can wait. It's time." The Empress stomped her hoof, drawing the attention of the two unicorns. She led Skyblue Shine while carrying Premium Polish to the laboratory residing her. Whatever this Magical Unite was, it had more than just Premium Polish as the source. Premium looked at herself, now knowing that she had a semblance of an impossibly great power residing within her. But, one that was not what it used to be. The Empress had shifted something as wonderful as the Magic of Friendship into something more devious. One for absolute control. After arriving at the lab, the scientists were already prepared for the filly's arrival. And within this lab was something odd and overwhelming. A cylinder-shaped machine that stretched wide and tall enough to fill the whole room. It had a multitude of wires connected to every part of it. It was run by both electricity and magic. Mostly magic. And in the centre of it was a familiar shape. The shape of a little unicorn. Mainly Premium Polish. This machine was meant for her as she could fit in it. Skyblue Shine stood back as she knew there was nothing she could do now. Her loyalty was cemented after all. The filly gasped with shock as she knew what was coming. "Place her inside." Troops went over towards Premium, bringing the little unicorn to the machine. Kick and flail as much as she wanted to, it was pointless. She was not strong enough despite what was lying within her. Skyblue Shine stood in the corner as she was waiting for all of this to be over. It would only take 6 days for the control to fully happen. And after that, Premium Polish would be free. However, when she ends up being free, how would she see her mother? And how would Skyblue Shine respond? Those were moments that the android was fearing for the most. However, in this instance, Skyblue Shine felt like doing something about this. She couldn't describe or understand it, but her hooves were shaking uncontrollably. As if, seeing her daughter in this kind of scenario triggered some instincts within her. Premium Polish had been placed inside of the machine. A perfect fit. However, to make sure that she was fully inside, cables emerged from the machine, latching onto the little unicorn. "Mm!" Premium winced after these cables entered her. The magic was already flowing through as the process could finally begin with a great buildup. "W-Wait!" Skyblue Shine suddenly intervened with a shout. The Empress turned to face the android, not too fond of this interruption. "Let's wait a bit longer. After, all Princess Celestia and the others might arrive here. They have that alliance with other universes. we've been to before. Perhaps, they know about this universe and our location." "M-Mom?" "Hm. You raise a good point. They would have knowledge of this universe. And just like before, Celestia and her annoying friends would just destroy everything with how reckless they are. We'll formulate a trap and setup in case of their arrival." "Ah..." Skyblue Shine let out a relieved sigh. "However, the process will continue." But soon after, it had been shut down by the Empress' words. "We can't afford to waste time." "R-Right, Empress. I don't know why I was potentially on the verge of delaying it." Skyblue lowered her head, allowing for the magical process to continue. Premium Polish had suddenly become unresponsive as something within her had shut down. Her eyes stayed open, however. She was in a truly unpleasant state. She could see what was ahead of her, but her body was immobile. Everything inside of her body had been shut down except for her consciousness. She was in the middle of being both asleep and awake. 6 days for this multiversal control to occur. And during this first day, the Empress already had a trap ready for Celestia's forces in case they do find this world. Empress Twilight wouldn't allow a repeat of last time. Ponyville. SugarCube Corner. Nightfall. "Jade's gone! I don't think she just left the place like that!" Pinkie Pie bellowed, worrying about her friend. Recently, Jade Skies had been captured by the Indigo Alliance in secrecy. And this was happening during the attack of the reincarnated Storm and Tree Behemoths. Her friends had been alerted as they saw this massive hole and the rubble it had made. The Slurpuff had just recovered from the perfume after having their noses go through sensory overload. Ash and the others witnessed the scene as there was very little to observe. Only the hole. "Jade would never do that." Pinkie Pie shook her head. "That means someone took her," Twilight said. "Did anypony in here see who?" "The Cake Family were safe in their room and the Slurpuff were having their noses act funny so no." Pinkie Pie shook her head. "Noses! We can still track Jade down with her scent." Fluttershy intervened. "If someone did take her, we can just follow Jade's scent and-" "Slur. Slurpuff." Just then, the Slurpuff had also intervened as they walked up to Pinkie Pie and the others. They had something to say. And they knew something that no one else did yet. The two of them held their noses, still feeling a bit overwhelmed. "Puff! Slurpuff!" "A perfume circle?" Fluttershy translated as everyone leaned in. "What do they mean by that?" Rarity asked. "Slur! Slur!" "They said that during the attack, there were five individuals who came in here. They couldn't see them but they could pick up their scent. But after that, some sort of circle appeared and sprayed out perfume. The perfume was too sensitive for their noses so they couldn't focus at all." "So whoever made that circle must've taken Jade." Twilight realized. "An invisibility spell is what they probably used. And that circle... did it look magical to you two?" "Slur." They nodded in confirmation. "Well, what are we waiting for?!" Pinkie Pie shook Fluttershy, zipping around. "We have to find Jade! Do you know how scared she could be! I mean...I've never seen her scared but still!" "We'll find her, Pinkie," Ash reassured while Pinkie was grabbing his shirt, hyperventilating. "We've got Slurpuff and some other Pokemon that can handle something like this. But who would want Jade?" "No idea. Team Plasma doesn't have anything they can do with Jade. Plus, I'm not sure they've figured out spells all except for Ghetsis who uses Dark Magic." "Maybe it was Ghetsis and Team Plasma. Who else?" Rainbow Dash replied. "I say we barge in there and get our friend back right now!" "But...where? Team Plasma switched locations didn't they?" Spike asked as Rainbow Dash scrunched her face. She wasn't aware of her their current location at all. Now they were in a bit of a rock and hard place. "Then we'll ask Princess Celestia." Ash already had an idea brewing in his head. "She has that Universal Alliance with her. We can sniff them out with Slurpuff and other canine Pokemon and see which universe they fled to." "Pikachu." A good call from Ash's point. However, little did they all know, while they were pursuing their friend, another one of them had been captured as well. A situation that Celestia was pursuing. Canterlot. Nightfall. "So all of that havoc was just enough of a distraction for them to take her," Celestia said, observing the empty bedroom of Premium Polish. "I can't believe they were able to even bring those kinds of behemoths back." "Well, their plan worked," Luna replied before facing the guards. "Did you see which universe they fled to?" "No, unfortunately. The distance made it unclear for us to take a closer look through." The guard shook his head. "Plus we were...pinned to the wall and downed." "So, we have no proper lead on which universe she's in. Curse it all!" Luna stomped her hooves in irritation. "It's not all hopeless yet. The conquered universes are all aware of the Empress' various locations and spare palaces. We can get in touch with our Universal Alliance to solve this issue." Celestia quickly rekindled all hope with just that comment alone. "Uh...sorry if we're butting in but..." Shooting Star, Garnet and Kaleidoscope peered their head through with nervous grins. "Is everything okay?" "Prince Shooting Star." Celestia went up to the pegasi. "Apologies for the inconvenience. But major issues have currently overtaken this day. I'm sorry that this guide has been interrupted like this." "Well, it's something. I mean, over at Pegalysium, conflicts rarely happen, right?" Garnet shrugged. "W-We can just come back another time." Kaleidoscope said. "Maybe when nothing's being attacked at all." "Get home safely, you three. We need to act fast and-" But before Celestia could finish her sentence, along came the surprise entrance of Ash, Twilight and the others. "Princess Celestia!" Twilight exclaimed, giving everyone a startle. "We need your help!" "Twilight? Oh, sorry. But I'm afraid my hooves are full and occupied with something else right now." The older alicorn flew over. "Premium Polish has been taken by the Empress' forces. Due to the behemoths being distractions." A stressful sigh was let out by Celestia. "Well...we came here because Jade was captured too. And we think it might be by Team Plasma." Twilight explained. "Maybe. We don't know. It's even stranger why they would take Jade." "Jade as well?" The Sun Princess pulled back. "Two captures in one afternoon?" "That calls for even greater concern. But...why would they want Jade Skies of all ponies?" "Hang on a sec." Shooting Star intervened as his brain was rapidly moving, scrolling through his memories. He had heard the name Jade Skies and recalled one instance in the Pegalysium forests. "That Jade Skies pony has yet to be captured. But this should suffice at the moment. At least, enough to use for a month. But how exactly are we to use that magic without being seen? After all, one bit of it is potent enough to destroy a forest." "Oh, you mean the Rift Pony?" "Rift Pony?!" Everyone's attention was alerted by that without a doubt. Hearing Jade and Rift Pony in the same sentence threw a lot of them off. "Yeah. The Indigo Alliance said something about capturing a pony by the name of Jade Skies. Guess they achieved their goal in the end." "Jade's a Rift Pony...?" Pinkie Pie and the others were the most surprised by this. Yet another RIft Pony was secretly their friend. But it all made sense. How she never slept. Much like Cold Colt. How she had no apparent home. Neither Equestria nor Pegalysium. "She's like me...Awesome." And Cold was the most ecstatic about this. Not only did he have Emerald Aura, now he had Jade Skies as a fellow Rift Pony friend. "Aw, even in another nation we can't go one day or week without hearing about this alliance?" Kaleidoscope sighed. "So this Indigo Alliance is behind this, are they?" Celestia asked the young prince. "What do they want with Jade exactly?" "Well, they already managed to get some Rift Energy after finding it in Big Sky. But they want more. And the best way to get it is by having a pony that's all Rift Energy. That was their plan from what I heard." The prince explained. "So it's still a lot like what Ghetsis and Team Plasma went for." Rarity replied. "And if that's the case, who knows what they might do to poor Jade?!" "Either way, we're saving them both. On our own, we can't be in two places at once. One place is arguably more dangerous than the other. How dangerous are the Indigo Alliance exactly?" asked Celestia. "Mm." Shooting Star shrugged. "I mean they sounded dangerous in the stories I've heard. I don't know about as dangerous an entire empire and all that." "Heading into enemy territory again, especially one of that scale. This is the Empress' we're talking about." Luna warned Celestia. Her mind was already being made up on how to approach these two scenarios. "I know. But this time, we have more allies. We just need to figure out how to work our way around saving Premium from a place as hazardous as that. Each of us will split up and go to the Empress's palace and Pegalysium. I'll be going for Premium. Everyone else?" "Well...this does sorta involve our nation and the problem it's caused. So we'll go for Jade!" Shooting Star raised his hoof as Garnet and Kaleidoscope gasped. "What?!" Garnet grabbed Shooting Star, lifting him off the floor whilst shaking him rapidly. "We didn't agree to this! I don't want any part of some freaky secret society!" "B-B-B-But they captured you t-t-too!" Shooting Star stuttered with each shake."They even put you in some weird green stuff I can't remember!" "They did? Is that what happened on that day?" Garnet paused for a moment, recalling the time she woke up unconscious in a medical room with the Reanimate Tears around her. "That's not important! L-Let your mom and dad handle this instead of us!" "Right, right." The young prince chuckled nervously. "We'll go for Jade at Pegalysium," Ash said as he, the Mane 7, Cold Colt and Spike would shoot for Pegalysium. Their numbers were great in their own way. Plus, together, they make an amazing team with splendid coordination. Celestia would go with her little sister, of course along with Passion, Arcanine, Darkrai and practically every Pokemon that Luna owned. Which was a lot. They would also receive massive help from others. The Empress is a force that requires a multitude of help to even go against. "We'll need a plan, however. I'm afraid barging into the palace just like before won't do. We also have to rescue the guard who jumped in there." Celestia pondered, coming up with a scheme that could assure Premium Polish's return. "Oh, wait!" But Cold had one final thing to say before they all set off. "I know someone else that can help!" Pegalysium. The Indigo Alliance's Courtoom. "We've done it. The largest source of Rift Energy we could have. And in the form of a pony." Second Wind AKA the Grand Judge spoke to the many Indigo Alliance members. Chatter moved across the room as they agreed to this result. With Jade as their main source of Rift Energy, it was practically endless. The things they could do with her magic. Jade herself was being kept within one of those same containers that Garnet was in. This time, without the Reanimate Tears within them. She was conscious ever since she was captured and taken here instead of being put to sleep. "Jade Skies. You will be the greatest cause of relinquishing Pegalysium from any other issues or threats that may emerge one day." The Grand Judge said. "With you Rift Magic, the possibilities are endless. The king won't ruin the future of Pegalysium with you at our hold." "Me...? Rift Magic?" She spoke in her monotone voice as always, feeling unimpressed. However, deep down, she was shocked by this revelation. That's right. You are a Rift Pony. The best kind of pony imaginable! Brimming with Rift Energy from within. Unless...you never knew, hm?" "I didn't...Is that why I don't remember my past...?" Jade's mouth opened slightly with her eyes shifting about. It was all clicking to her finally. This was the last thing she excepted. Now that she knew she was a Rift Pony, everything made sense to her. Jade Skies took a moment to take it all in. She was on the verge of showing a shocked expression. But she wasn't quite there yet. Jade had a lot to tell Pinkie Pie and the others when she reunites with them. As she believes she will. "Don't worry. Even with this realization, you will do great things for us. As a way fo Pegalysiums' shining future!" A potent laugh came out of Second Wind's mouth as more chatter filled the room. "You're gonna lose." Jade simply said with a deadpan expression as she quickly shut down Second Wind's words. The room fell silent afterwards. "I beg your pardon?" "My friends are gonna find me and defeat all of you. Maybe trash the place with all their movements. They're good at doing that. Even with Rift Energy, you're not gonna win 100%" "You think so? We'll see about that. Our connections throughout Pegalysium are stellar! More than what even the king can comprehend or know. Even those Pocket Monsters won't stand a chance despite how impressive they seem. But...we should be careful. Such powerful creatures could ruin everything if not taken care of." "If I may, Grand Judge. There might be a way to deal with these Pokemon when the friends of Jade Skies eventually arrive." A member walked up. "But, we might have to be quick about it. They may not know of our existence or this location but..." "I understand. We'll make sure they won't even get close to here at any cost." Second Wind declared as she looked over at Jade while exuding Rift Energy from her body. Both sides knew of the incoming and potential arrival. And they were already preparing for the seemingly inevitable encounter. Two captives. Jade Skies and Premium Polish. One will be used for endless power while the other for absolute control. 6 days remain until the Magical Unite can link to every living being out there as the journey continues. Chapter 535 End.
