My Little Pokémon

18 Realms

Kanto Region. Professor Oak's lab. Day.

"Heya!" Ash's head popped into the view through an open door along with Pikachu, arriving at Oak's lab. Mostly because a friend of theirs was currently here, visiting from another world.

"Pikachu!"

"Ash! Pikachu!" That was the Twilight of the human world along with Spike and her Hisuian Zorua. She held out her hands as Pikachu jumped into her grasp. Twilight was more than just visiting here. She was being Professor Oak's assistant. Or at least, starting out.

"How goes the assistant stuff, Twi?"

"Great so far! I'm only two days in and I'm already making some great progress." Twilight giggled.

"Twilight here has been great help. It was already helpful with Tracey around. With two assistants, all that extra hassle just fade away." Oak said. "You always have great friends who are this skilled, Ash."

"Thankfully, I can come by on Sundays without having to worry about Canterlot High getting in the way. Though, it's still a long trek from here, even with the boat from Unova to Kanto."

"Speaking of which, I should maybe chime in with that world as well. Get them used to everything Pokemon." Oak replied, thinking for a moment. "And another thing. Ash. Pikachu. I hear you'll be visiting the Holon Region fairly soon. Is that right?"

"Yeah. We're planning on going this January. We're psyched to visit it and so is everyone else. I hear it's small so it might not take too long to explore all of it."

"Pika-Pika!"

"I've heard about Holon and all of its Delta Pokemon but have never gotten the chance to see them. If it's not an issue, would you please gather some Pokedex information about the Delta Pokemon residing there?"

"You bet! There's all the space in the world for my Pokedex. I can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon we'll see there."

"Pikachu!"

"Wish I could go," said Twilight. "Then I'd get a chance to adventure through a region with you blind. But...maybe some other time."

"And we'll be waiting for that time, Twilight." He replied with Pikachu giving a statue followed with a twinkle in his eye. "Gotta do something first before that. Equestria's Twilight, Celestia and me are gonna merge minds."

"I beg your pardon?" Both Oak and Twilight said.

"Yeah. It's kind of a strange one." Ash chuckled, unsure of how to explain it. "I'll let you know how it goes when we get back! Come on, Pikachu!"

"Pikachu!"

Ash and Pikachu left on a confusing note. Oak and Twilight were just going to have to wait for an hear from Ash's experience to know what it was truly about. But today was the day the attempt to merge the Aurascape, Mindscape and Cerebral Training together for simplicity. Originally Twilight's idea, which seemed like an odd approach at first but Celestia encouraged it, seeing that it could be of some use.

Equestria. Twilight's Castle. Afternoon.

And the three of them had gathered at the castle to pull it off. Rather four. Luna also had some of the Cerebral Training thanks to gaining some experience from Olympia.

"This will be the first time in a long time that this spell's been used," said Twilight, looking at the book that contained the necessary spell. "As far as I can tell, there's no undoing it, is there?"

"Oh no. It can be undone. Just like every spell." Celestia corrected her. "But only if you want it to be undone. If it all goes awry then that might be the best time to undo it."

"We should also be thankful that they won't harm our minds either. While something may go wrong within, our minds will still be safe and even from the outside we will be safe either way." Luna replied.

"Right. I just want to make things easier for us. Let's all focus together now." Twilight put her hooves out as Ash, Celestia and Luna formed a circle around Twilight.

Twilight would kick off the spell for it to link up with everyone else's. Watching this were Pikachu, Spike, Starlight and Cold Colt, ready to see how this magic worked.

The spell had been initiated as a stream of lights flew out of Twilight's horn, touching Ash, Celestia and Luna's minds. Once it touched them, their eyes opened, radiating a white glow. Pikachu and the others stepped back as four distinct colours illuminated from their bodies.

Azure blue, Light purple, Solar gold and Nightsky blue. Representing their colours perfectly. The colours were exceedingly bright, even shining so much that they could be seen from outside the castle. Someone could mistake this for a disco party from a first look. The culmination then formed a dome of Magic and Aura to emerge around them.

However, while few were aware of this action taking place, there was one other individual that took interest in this. An individual that was of the same energy as Cold Colt.

Staring from high above the clouds in the far distance was Lucien. By creating some binoculars that could look great distances, he witnessed their plan. Lucien was eager to do something to spice things up and he found his catch.

"Bingo. Merging different concepts of minds, eh? Hm-hm." Lucien nodded, tossing the binoculars away. "What can I do about that? I could just stay here and let it play out but..."

"I'll do it for you then!" Out of nowhere, taking Lucien by surprise was Sienna. She pointed past Lucien's face, zapping a bolt of cosmic energy. This was done out of pettiness.

"H-Hey!" Lucien stammered as the bolt had struck the dome of energies, affecting it. Right on time as Twilight had completely the spell. But now, it had a slither of Rift Energy affecting it as the one had faded gently. "Sienna!"

"Not so great when your plan also gets swiped, is it?" Sienna taunted him, paying him back for how he hijacked her plan a while back. "I'd say we're even!"

"Grr...!" Lucien growled, unable to give a clever retort. "Whatever! I bet you don't know what this is all about, anyway."

"You're right. I don't Won't stop me from messing with. And it looks like it's already in full swing for you to do anything. But I'd love to see how all of this turns out." Sienna chuckled as Lucien crossed his arms, pouting out of spite. Sienna then left the area, vanishing elsewhere.

Lucien was curious about what this meant since Sienna had interrupted with this scenario. As much as he hated to admit it, this had piqued his curiosity.

Once the light faded, Ash, Twilight Celestia and Luna were seen sitting down. But they weren't doing it to relax. Instead, they were currently within their minds. The spell worked like a charm.

"Nice! They did it!" Starlight cheered along with the others.

"Pikachu!" But as they cheered, waiting for their friends to wake up once they sort everything out inside whatever realm they had made, Pikachu was the first to notice something off. He looked at his arm, noticing how it was giving off the same four colours that Ash, Twilight, Celestia and Luna had. "Pika?"

"Hm?" Starlight noticed too. Soon everyone noticed how they were laminated with these four auras. "What's up with this?"

"Uh...Is this supposed to happen?" Cold asked.

"Gardevoir."

"Hold on." Starlight brought the book over with her magic, seeing if this was meant to happen to those not a part of the spell either. But, from what Starlight had gathered from this page and the next pages concerning this spell, nothing about it mentioned everyone gaining light around them. "No. There's nothing about it at all."

"So is it bad?!" Spike jumped to conclusions, screeching.

"Hold on! Let's not get ahead of ourselves." Starlight promptly stopped him. "After all, this spell hasn't been used in a long time. And Ash is the first human to be a part of it. This could have something to do with Ash's Aura. I highly doubt it's anything dangerous. I mean, look. We're still here and fine, aren't we?"

"So is everyone else." Cold replied, looking outside the window. Everyone then followed to gaze at what he was seeing. It wasn't just him and his friends within the castle.

Everypony in Ponyville had these lights flare from them. Including the Pokemon. They all looked confused as well. Some dismissed and ignored it as just as a natural wild occurrence due to their coexistence with the Pokemon World. Others were on the verge of panicking with how sudden it was.

"Everyone?" Starlight gawked. "I didn't think the spell would be this powerful."

"Pika..."

"So if that's happening out there to all of us, what's happening in there with them?" Spike wondered as they turned to face Ash and the others.

An unidentified new world.

Success. Ash and the others saw that they were in a completely new area that was the result of three different forces coming together. An ethereal area with the four colours that represented each of them was the entire landscape. From the top to the bottom. Sparkles could also be found glistening within them. It had a peaceful feeling to it. Ash could feel the Aura permeating through this area while Twilight, Celestia and Luna could feel magic as well.

"It worked!" Twilight laughed, jumping for joy."It worked! I don't know why I worry so much!"

"Well done, Twilight. That's why you were my top student." Celestia complimente her. She and the others took a moment to observe the area around them to see what else was new. Ash was the first to notice.

"Hey." He called for them, drawing their attention to something up ahead. Soon, they all saw what he saw. Right in front of them with a massive radius were 18 doors.

18 massive doors of 18 different colours that were spread out. And each of them had very familiar symbols on them. Mainly the ones belonging to the 18 Pokemon-Types.

"Check it out..." Ash pointed at the 18 doors. "These doors weren't here before. Plus they've all got the types on them. There's Electric, Dragon, Ghost, Flying and more. What do you think it means?"

"Well, we did say that it could create a new type of realm. And this is it." Twilight stepped forward. "These doors could lead to...well anything. Probably, different Pokemon reside there. Maybe. I don't know."

Just as they observed the doors, Celestia sensed something else within here. Her Boundless Cutie Mark reacted to a fourth force that did not belong to anyone here. She sensed Rift Energy. "Hold on. I can feel Rift Energy here."

"Really?" Luna turned to face her big sister. She was the only one aware of it but much like Ash, Twilight and Celestia, they could not see any Rift Energy here. But, they could at least witness some influence from it. And that came from the materialization of multiple figures into this ethereal space.

They faced the figures that were appearing via the four colours they represented. Many of them looked familiar, resembling friends that they know. Pikachu was the first to appear in this space.

"Pika?" Naturally, the Mouse Pokemon gasped for a moment, stunned by his sudden appearance. Soon, everyone else started showing up. Applejack, Espeon, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Goh, and more.

"You're all here?!" Ash gasped, seeing them all pop up simultaneously. A commotion started within this realm, mainly about how they all appeared here. And for once, it wasn't without warning. It went further.

"This shouldn't be happening. Rift Magic must certainly be behind this." Celestia observed.

"How did we get here?!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Weird...What is this place?" Sunset Shimmer along with her Braixen had also shown up to the area as it had even affected the other world.

"Just when I was in the middle of something." Brawly, who was also here, sighed. Almost everyone that Ash, Twilight, Celestia and Luna knew were here. Almost was the keyword. There were still some not present but a good majority were here.

Delia, Goh, Chloe, Ponyville residents, certain Gym Leaders, Pokemon, some Canterlot residents and more. Even Trainers of different occupations such as a single Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny plus Brock, a former Gym Leader who was now a Pokemon Breeder had shown up. Ash wasn't the only Champion here. Cynthia had been dragged into this as well.

"Ash. What's going on?" Delia asked.

"Uh...I don't know, mom." Ash shrugged, unable to give a clear answer. "We didn't think you'd all show up here."

"How did you all arrive here? The spell should've only sent us four here since this realm is our space." Luna questioned.

"Well, I think it has something to do with the four colours that were shining around us." Starlight answered. "We saw them appear around us but we weren't sure what it meant. And then all of a sudden, we all started sitting down with our eyes closed and now we're here."

"Similar to us." Celestia looked to Luna. "They most definitely did not do this with consciousness. I wouldn't even say sub-consciously. "Rift Magic is at play here. But it certainly can't be you, Cold Colt."

"Nope." Cold shook his head in response. "If I had to take a guess...It was probably either Lucien or Sienna."

"Those two again?" Rainbow Dash groaned.d "How come we haven't dealt with them yet? And uh...what even is this place? What's with those doors?"

"They all have Pokemon-Typings on them." Roxie noticed along with everyone else. "That looks pretty neat, doesn't it?"

"This right here. We made this." Ash pointed at himself. "We put our minds together with the Mind Link Spell and came out with this whole place. We're gonna use it to communicate with each other better. And put an end to Delayed Aura Ataxia too."

"Oh. Still working hard to stop it." Cynthia replied. "Good. But I didn't expect it to go this far. Then again, all of this just seems natural at this point, doesn't it?"

"Yeah. And about that...Just like with what Sir Aaron saw..." Ash faced the doors. "That weird force that exists somewhere in the Aura could also be in this realm. And it could be in any one of these doors."

"Oh, you're right." Twilight did recall that mysterious force and how it was related to Delayed Aura Ataxia and seemingly the only way to stop it.

"What are we all waiting for?!" Pinkie Pie bellowed, aiming her hoof at the many doors. "There are all these doors that lead to who-knows-where!"

"Pssh! I ain't going in there!" Aria objected. "Who knows what's lying behind those doors?"

"I kinda have something to do so. Not sure if I can stay around here right now. Mind if I leave?" Brawly asked.

"Sure. Go on ahead." Ash replied as he didn't have any control over them. "Since this has my Aura, maybe I can make you leave." Ash closed his eyes, using his Aura to try and send Brawly out. However, unlike before with the Aurascape, it did not work.

Ash was surprised by this as he certainly had the ability to do so. And this realm was certainly also the Aurascape combined with two other things. Brawly scratched his hair as he already knew what this meant. "I can't get out, can I?"

"I don't get it. It worked before." Ash looked at his hands.

"Wait! Don't tell me we're stuck here?!" Adagio bellowed.

"No. We can't jump to that just yet." Celestia halted Adagio before anyone could start panicking. But this is alarming. It could be from the Rift Magic most likely. We know how this spell works after all."

"Being in here wouldn't seem favourable but...none of us are hurt right now. So we're safe it looks like." An observable Twilight said. "Getting out here looks like it won't be so swift and easy though."

"Bummer." Rainbow Dash sighed before smiling. "But ya know...Pinkie Pie's got a point. What's behind those doors? Since we're all here, we should check it out, shouldn't we?"

"I'm with you on that," Ash replied in agreement. Everyone else by this point weren't too surprised that they were stuck here. If anything, this just seemed like a normal occurrence ever since their worlds had met with each other.

But they were all hoping to get out of here soon. They weren't being harmed right now. Plus this area did look enchanting to their eyes and those doors did intrigue some of them.

"You've got me a bit psyched about this." Roxie went up to the Electric-Type door. "Let's see what's behind here!" Eager to see what secrets lie in this new realm, she went to open the door. However, it didn't open. "Hm?" She tried again, pushing and pulling on it to see what would work. "What gives? I can't get through! What's the point of these if we can't even enter?"

"Let me see." Rainbow Dash went up to the Psychic-Type door, trying the same. But she ended up bashing her boy on the door instead but to no avail. "It's shut tight! Let me in!"

"Maybe there's a key somewhere?" Sweetie Belle looked around but there certainly wasn't a key anywhere at all as Rainbow Dash and Roxie were unable to get the two doors open.

"Hm..." Twilight thought about it for a second before sparking an idea. "Aha! Maybe they'll open in a specific way. What if it matters based on what type of Pokemon we have?"

"Type of Pokemon?" Spike repeated.

"Right. Roxie. You're a Poison-Type specialist, right? Try the Poison-Type door." The Princess of Friendship suggested. Roxanne gave it a go. In theory, this should work. She was a Poison-Type Gym Leader after all.

And Twilight's theory did work. The second Roxie touched the Poison-Type door, it started moving. Everyone's eyes shot up with awe afterwards. "Awesome!" Roxie cried out.

"So it is Type-sensitive! Knew it!" Twilight flapped her wings with joy. Now there was an easy way to pass through these doors, but one other question needed to be answered.

"Oh. So it's not a problem for us Gym Leaders then." Brawly chuckled. "Nice. Guess I'm grabbing that Fighting-Type door then."

"Wait, what about the rest of us? What do we take?" Rainbow Dash brought up the biggest question considering a majority of everyone here doesn't stick to one type. They have Pokemon of different types.

"Well, that's easy for me." Spike raised his arm. "I'm all Dragon."

"Uhh for everyone else...Maybe it works for all of us?" Twilight theorized once more. "Rainbow Dash. You don't have a Psychic-Type. But I do. So maybe, some of us can open multiple doors based on how many Pokemon we have."

"Huh..." Ash and the others thought about it for a second. It made sense to them. The ones who have caught the most Pokemon were Ash, Goh, Rarity, Brock and a few others. "How about this then?"

Ash went for the doors along with Rarity. He took the Electric-Type door while Rarity took the Bug-Type door. Sure enough, it reacted accordingly but that was expected. Pikachu was Ash's partner while Rarity had 12 Leavanny and a Pheromosa.

So it was time for them to test the other doors. Ash then put his hand on the Water-Type door as it also moved, confirming that it was Type-sensitive with everyone depending on which Pokemon they received.

"That settles it," said Ash. "But it looks like we all might have to take separate doors. We've all got different Pokemon, don't we?"

"That means being in separate groups." Cynthia went up to Ash. "We'll have to be careful since we won't know what lies beyond those doors."

"Then how about..." Celestia thought for a moment, observing everyone. "All those who share Pokemon of similar types and are the most frequent type, group together. That way, it will be easy."

And it certainly was. Everyone knew their types and the most frequent Type that they had as they got together in specific groups. Some Gym Leaders were identical depending on the region. Brawly grouped with Bea since they were both Fighting-Type specialists.

Brock, despite not being a Gym Leader anymore, does have more Rock-Types than he has with any other type. So he stuck by Roxanne along with Maud and Limestone.

"We meet again, Maud. How's Bastiodon now?" Brock held his hand out to Maud.

"Better," Maud said in her dry tone. "Thanks for helping out that one time."

Twilight, Celestia, Cadence and Luna stuck by each other due to them sharing a common typing. Fairy. And to an extent Psychic with just three of them.

Rainbow Dash had more Flying-Types on her team so she stuck by Ash who always has a Flying-Type in every region he's been in so far.

"So this is what you look like as a Human?" Fluttershy partner with Sunset Shimmer who was currently in her human form after being pulled from the Human World.

"Right...Even today it still feels weird..." Sunset laughed nervously.

"Stay close to me, ya hear?" Applejack said to Apple Bloom. For the foals, they were slightly exempt as Rarity and Applejack wanted to take care of their little sisters. But it also worked since they also shared Pokemon of similar types.

Cynthia stuck with Ash along with Goh as well, having Pokemon of multiple types instead of just one. If anything, many flocked to Ash due to the number of Pokemon he's caught over the years. Soon, everyone had their groups set. They were ready to tackle whatever was behind those doors.

All 18 doors were theirs to choose from. It could be an exciting adventure and exploration waiting for them past these doors. And also a quest to find the mysterious force that was linked to Delayed Aura Ataxia.

"Alright," Ash said, facing the doors. "Let's do this, everyone."

"Pikachu!"

As the journey continues.

Chapter 641 End.
