//------------------------------// // Canterlot Raid // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Jagged Isle. Afternoon. Out in the far reaches of Equestria, existed one of the few and rare areas that were infested by Cosmos' Chaos Magic. This was the Jagged Isle. An island that looked like a monster's face from a birds-eye view. Rainbow Dash and Rarity ended up arriving at this location after following the map that Cosmos had given to them, believing that they would find one of the stars here. They stepped onto the island with Pheromosa placing Rarity down. Immediately after showing up here, an enigmatic feeling filled the atmosphere. There were various lakes that had dark pink waters with an indescribable howl echoing throughout the island. The cloud formations were also bizarre, spelling out something that Rainbow Dash had to squint to see. She saw that the clouds spelt out the name 'Cosmos'. "This is the place. One of those stars should be here. But boy...it looks like it's out of Equestria's bounds." Rainbow Dash commented, looking at the map and how the location went far past most known areas in Equestria. It was still within Equestria's vicinity, but it was so far away that it almost reached the very end of the nation. "It does, doesn't it? It also feels so strange and chilly..." Rarity replied before returning Pheromosa to her Poke Ball. "Thank you for the help, Pheromosa." "That means it's the perfect place to hide a star." Rainbow Dash put the map away ascending to the skies. "If it's glowing, we might find it high above." "Good point. How about we-" But before Rarity could finish her sentence, bursting from the lake was a massive green tentacle that suddenly grabbed Rainbow Dash's hoof. "Oh! Rainbow Dash!" "Ew!" Rainbow Dash naturally grimaced at this as a creature could be seen popping out of the lake. Despite it emerging out of the smaller lakes, the creature and the tentacle itself were absolutely massive. The head of this cephalopod creature showed up, splashing the chaotic liquid everywhere. Rainbow Dash and Rarity's eyes widened as they got a good look at the monster that had emerged. It had Discord's face while also keeping the body of an octopus. The sight of it was downright terrifying to them as they weren't sure what to make of this. "Discord?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. The creature grinned before attempting to drag Rainbow Dash down with it to the lake. "Castform, Weather Ball!" "Cast!" Castform emerged out of Rainbow Dash's saddlebag, utilizing Weather Ball. It ended up being a Normal-Type Weather Ball as a white orb had been unleashed from his mouth. The orb struck the tentacle, immediately forcing it off of Rainbow Dash. The pegasus was free, however, this was still an octopus. Which meant that there were others. Seven more tentacles had flown out of the various lakes, appearing much bigger than they should be. "I need your help again! Pheromosa!" Rarity quickly went back to Pheromosa's Poke Ball, throwing it into the air as the Lissome Pokemon had returned. "Pheromosa!" "Triple Kick!" "Mosa!" Pheromosa rushed to Rainbow Dash and Castform's aid promptly. As for the pegasus and her partner, Rainbow Dash grabbed onto the Weather Pokemon, flying out of the way of these incoming tentacles. The face of Discord ended up extending as if it had an elongated neck, moving straight for the two of them. Pheromosa interrupted the creature, kicking three of its tentacles with one kick each. The tentacles trembled as the creature with Discord's face also felt it. The hits shook it to the core as those three tentacles dropped like flies. Now it was down to just four tentacles. "Castform! Reflect-Type on Pheromosa!" "Cast...Form!" Castform got another attack in. He focused on Pheromosa as his radioactive cells copied her Bug-Fighting-Type. An azure glow covered him as he unleashed a burst of exploding butterflies and a barrage of fists from his body. The natural result of his cells being far more radioactive than any Castform out there. The array of butterflies and fists came raining down, hitting each of the tentacles while also pummelling the face of this monster. The face of Discord received mainly the fists rather than the butterfly as that expulsion of energy was enough to force the monster back. It retreated to the lake it came from. "Phew..." Rainbow Dash sighed as that little scuffle had ended quickly. Just what they needed. "What was up with that? Why did it have Discord's face?!" "I'd rather not know. It certainly wasn't Discord despite the face." Rarity shook her head, still trying to process what she had just seen. Right after they had encountered that creature, the howling that could be heard already had suddenly increased in volume. Not only that, but as Rarity turned around, wondering what that sound was, she noticed that something was missing. The way she and Rainbow Dash had suddenly disappeared. The sea was nowhere to be found or any nearby land that they had once seen. The fashionista's heart skipped a beat as the scenery changed. Now, there were far more jagged mountains in this already jagged location. "When did the scenery change?!" Rarity shouted out. Rainbow Dash turned to where she was facing, She saw it too. However, the moment Rainbow Dash turned and Rarity blinked for a bit, it seemed that another change in scenery had been made. The jagged mountains had seemingly expanded and extended. The tall mountains had grown in width and height, forming a jagged cage while also blocking off the rest of the land beyond. It felt like they were within a dark cave as even the skies had been blocked off by what seemed to be floating mountains. They weren't connected to anything, but they were still covering everything else. At any moment, it looked like those mountains could drop. "How the-" Rainbow Dash was trying to figure out how mountains could be floating and blocking off the sky at the same time despite not being connected to anything. "Rarity! I think we're blocked in by these mountains!" "Nothing a good kick can't solve! Pheromosa, Triple Kick on some of those mountains!" "Mosa!" Pheromosa rushed to one of the mountains, seeing if she could reveal an exit to this warped place. However, the moment she went to kick one, the jagged properties suddenly vanished. Pheromosa's legs had bounced off of the mountain as if she was in a bouncy castle. "P-Phero!?" "Oh! Pheromosa?!" Rarity gasped as Pheromosa was immediately launched into another mountain. That same mountain also had bouncy properties as it had responded to Pheromosa. Soon, Pheromosa started bouncing from mountain to mountain without any control of her body. "Mosa! Mosa!" Pheromosa at first was confused about how a mountain could be its usual rough and rugged exterior and all of a sudden, it was bouncy and playful. Seconds later, after being bounced around, she started to enjoy it, laughing. However, that laughter soon vanished when the next mountain finally lived up to this island's name. Jagged spikes extruded out of the mountain, threatening to hit Pheromosa. "Phero?!" Pheromosa's fun had ended up promptly upon seeing these spikes emerging. Rarity, seeing her partner in grave danger, quickly used her magic. Usually, Pheromosa was the one to save her but now she was returning the favour as her magic blast ended up breaking the jagged spikes, saving the Lissome Pokemon. "Are you alright, Pheromosa?!" Rarity ran over to Pheromosa who had just fallen over. The Lissome Pokemon thankfully did not suffer from the jagged spikes, but the fact that it changed from jagged to bouncy to jagged again meant that anything could be unpredictable here. "Mosa..." "Uh...Rarity." Rainbow Dash was the next pony to see the unpredictable. Or rather, horrifying. She alerted Rarity and Pheromosa while also covering Castform's eyes. The sounds from the atmosphere not only got louder but the origin of them had been spotted. The Chaos Magic within the Jagged Isle tampered with the scenery greatly as Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pheromosa and the curiosity of Castform had seen something form in the distance. It was the visage of Cosmos along with ponies. They were being shown illusions of what Cosmos enjoys the most. Causing malice to others. The illusions were made out of smoke and fire but they were all the more haunting. Soon, the illusion of Cosmos looked over at Rainbow Dash and the others, grinning at them while also pointing at the quartet. It was as if the illusion was saying that they were next. They also noticed how Cosmos was also a draconequus, much like Discord. "W-We're still looking for the star...right?" Rainbow Dash asked, trying to make sense of all of this but it was pointless. At any moment, the scenery of this place could change. "Let's just keep moving and stay safe." Rarity suggested that they go with the flow. This place was teeming with chaos so anything could happen at any moment. The moment they advanced, they were heading deeper into the island, which meant that all of that Chaos Magic that Cosmos left behind was bound to get worse from here. Canterlot. Afternoon. Meanwhile, over at Canterlot, the raid on the castle and the city itself was underway. Cosmos had made her biggest move yet. By using the Pokemon from Frenzy Forest along with the guards of the castle, she was ready to overthrow Celestia and do what she wished to do from the start. Reign over Equestria with a malicious claw. She still possessed Cynthia, who was the perfect vessel for her, but a secondary vessel had been found in the form of Darkrai. The next Andalusian Star had been found and transferred into her, granting Cosmos access to more of her magic, making her a bigger threat than before. While Luna dealt with the various Ghost-Types in the chamber, Celestia came face to face with Cynthia, who exhibited Cosmos' magic. She was also surrounded by the guards and their Golurk to make matters worse. The city of Canterlot was under attack from all of these Pokemon that possessed Cosmos' magic. "Cosmos!" Celestia shouted. "You come back and you take over the body of my friend?!" "Not just this body, but all of them. We're all connected like one big hive!" Cosmos laughed. "But that won't matter in the end. Because once my body is back to its prime, there won't be a need for all of you. I'll just rule. Simple as that. But you, Celestia...I can't have another ruler around." "Passion. Be very careful." Celestia warned Passion, knowing just how dangerous Cosmos was. "There's no place for someone like you in my world! Especially after you sent me away!" Cosmos definitely had a lot of spite towards Celestia and everyone involved in her banishment. She held her hand out, unleashing a terrifying beam of malice. Celestia did the same in response. Both of their hairs blew violently from the release of magic as a golden and dark pink beam had clashed. Upon clashing with Celestia, Cosmos controlled the other bodies of the guards and the Golurk, sending them towards Celestia. "Gardevoir!" But with Passion in the way, it wouldn't be so easy. Passion protected her best friend, forming a Psychic wall that had held the guards and the Golurk back, preventing them from getting anywhere near Celestia. Upon clashing beams with Celestia' Cosmos noticed a sudden change. The Celestia she knew from before never had magic this potent. It threw Cosmos off guard for a bit as Passion had expanded her wall, pushing the guards and the Golurk away. "So they were right about your magic improving!" Cosmos growled. "But I didn't expect it to be this much!" "A lot has happened!" Celestia replied as the windows were starting to break from this exchange. "I doubt you can outperform us anymore!" "I beg to differ!" Cosmos roared before using her other hand to shoot another beam, adding to her power. Even with this additional beam, Celestia still managed to hold it back. There was no clear victor in this. "Passion! Use Dazzling Gleam!" "Voir!" The Embrace Pokemon looked back at Celestia before knowing what needed to be done. Without Celestia needing to be specific, Passion had surrounded herself in a vibrant light that ended up blinding the eyes of not just the guards and the Golurk, but also Cynthia. The light expanded to encompass the entire room as it affected everyone except Celestia. "GAH!" She cried out as she had been exposed to Fairy Magic once more. Much like Fluttershy, Celestia possessed Fairy Magic thanks to her bond with Celestia. Celestia won the struggle thanks to Passion's assistance as Cosmos' body felt like it was burning up after being exposed to the magic of the Fairies once more. She fell over with smoke emerging from her body. "Fairy Magic again?!" "Stings, doesn't it?" Celestia commented as Cosmos glanced at Passion. "Did you think I'd be on the same level as I was so many years ago?" "I suppose not. But..." Despite how she had lost the struggle and was currently being hit with constant surprises, Cosmos kept her confident attitude while also putting on a dastardly smirk. "My magic is nearly full once more. I still have enough to emerge victorious. And I have the numbers to make it possible!" Without using her hands, Cosmos had used telekinesis to send out Cynthia's Poke Balls and out of them emerged Cynthia's Pokemon. But once again, only 5 of them had appeared. There was a 6th missing. Celestia was met with Cynthia's Pokemon, but it didn't stop there. Bursting through the walls were more Pokemon. During their attack on the city, some of them chose to attack the castle to overwhelm Celestia. Ad by some, it was just Cosmos overall. From the walls, ceiling and even the floor, Pokemon were popping up, all enhanced by Cosmos' magic and using them in ways to cause more malefic chaos. Arriving on this spot via teleportation was none other than Celestia's little sister, Princess Luna. She was previously in the chamber, dealing with the Ghosts as her conflict with them led to her appearing at the upper levels of the castle via teleportation. The Ghosts followed after her, phasing through the walls to travel faster. Luna would soon see the chaos that had attacked Canterlot with more than just Ghost Pokemon being the cause. "Sister. Mind telling me what's going on here?" Luna asked as she and her sister stood back to back. Luna had all of her Pokemon out in the fray. It couldn't even out things, but it helped with their already low numbers. All her Pokemon had been brought here after the ruckus that had occurred within the chamber. "It seems we're being raided, Luna." Celestia remained calm along with Luna. Despite the massive numbers, they were not intimidated at all. "Similar to the invasion, right?" "I doubt it. The invasion was far more troublesome than this. Cosmos is only using mind control and body possession to get this far." Luna replied as Cosmo snarled, feeling greatly insulted. "Even if she took control of Darkrai." "Darkrai?!" Celestia gasped. "That's terrible. She took control of Cynthia too and it seems a plethora of Pokemon as well." "That's not the half of it!" Cosmos laughed. "I took the time to control some of those humans at that school you have. Speaking of which...it takes me back to when I first set that school of orphaned ponies on fire. Doesn't it, Celestia? Oh, right, your memory of that and other things were taken away. In that case...let's make a new one!" Using the further extent of her magic even when it was not at full strength, Cosmos, along with other Pokemon that had fingers, simultaneously snapped them. And with just that snap, Cosmos had sent this entire room on fire. A horrific burst of flames had occurred across the room, burning away the carpet while also consuming everything in a scarlet blaze. But it wasn't just this room. Cosmos had sent the entire castle on fire. The ponies of Canterlot, who were fending off the attacking Pokemon with their own Pokemon, had witnessed the beautiful Canterlot Castle set ablaze. Celestia, Luna and their Pokemon got closer together as magma started pouring in. "Think I'm playing around now?! Actually, I am." Cosmos giggled as this was her definition of playing around. "Why don't we go a bit further!?" Cosmos didn't stop there. While Celestia and Luna were figuring out what to do about this sudden blazing issue, Cosmos already had something in mind. The Spirit of Malice had then made Celestia and Luna's mouths disappear. "...!" The two sisters noticed this immediately as their mouths had been rubbed off as if they were never there. The residents of Canterlot had lost their mouths as well, unable to say, scream or verbally unleash anything. "Try giving commands now." Cosmos taunted, knowing that Pokemon Trainers can only retaliate via commands towards their trainers. Even without mouths, the Pokemon could still fend for themselves, however, certain commands would be lost forever. Despite this loss of literal words, the two sisters stayed calm. They closed their eyes as they shared one thing in common. Teachings from Olympia had prepared them for this. They wouldn't need to say anything as they communicated with their Pokemon via telepathy. Celestia could do it easily with Passion while Luna could communicate with both Xatu and Musharna. "Gardevoir!" Upon receiving the commands of their trainers, Gardevoir, Xatu and Musharna shared these commands with their teammates. The other Pokemon understood clearly as they enacted Celestia and Luna's commands. Cosmos was surprised that they could still act even with nothing to say. Passion and Frillish had used Thunderbolt and Hydro Pump side by side. They had sent it towards two incoming Flamethrowers from a Simisear and a Shelgon. Thunderbolt had mixed with Hydro Pump, increasing the ferocity of it as it had easily overpowered the Flamethrowers, blasting Simisear and Shelgon while also putting out some of the flames. Speaking of the flames, Gliscor and Excadrill were the best ones suited for this predicament as they had simply powered through them. The magma was a different story as that was far more volatile than the flames. Cosmos decided to get physical with Celestia as she had suddenly sprouted out vampire wings. She flew towards the Princess of the Sun, extending her fingernails as they were laced with a terrifying poison. "Usually, I hate fighting, but with my body not fully restored, how else am I going to ensure my victory?!" "!" Celestia narrowed her eyes as she spread her wings, using her magic to bring her mouth back. She had then given herself a magic coating, protecting her from the poison. Cosmos ended up slashing Celestia with her poisonous nails, only for the coating to negate it. "Well, you're certainly not prepared for what modern-day Equestria has to offer." She spoke once more, responding to Cosmos' sentence about fighting before then using her magic to unleash golden streams that had pushed the Spirit of Malice away. Just then, right behind Celestia, a massive mouth could be seen hovering behind her. Celestia turned around to see that it was the mouth of a Haunter that had been expanded thanks to Cosmos' magic. The Sun Princess cast a protective as the mouth immediately closed on her. It looked as if Haunter had eaten her, only for golden lights to flare out of Haunter's body. Haunter's eyes widened as it opened its mouth with Celestia's magic pushing it away. The magma flow was still increasing as Frillish focused Hydro Pump onto the magma. Haze had emerged from this contact but it was not enough to stop it. Frillish couldn't do it alone, and neither did many have an option to deal with magma. "This is getting out of hoof fast, sister!" Luna exclaimed to Celestia. "We may be able to defeat Cosmos here and now but all of this destruction is only getting worse!" "I need to check up on Arcanine and Premium too. Philomena and Arcanine will be fine with these flames but Premium's still an android. Pure metal." Celestia replied, seeing that if something wasn't done things could worsen with each passing minute. "Do you think I'd let you leave?! Garchomp, Dragon Rush!" "Gar!" Garchomp charged at Celestia with a blazing blue aura of draconic energy. "Passion, Dazzling Gleam!" "Gardevoir!" Passion responded to Garchomp by surrounding herself in a sphere of rainbows before then intercepting the Mach Pokemon. The Dragon-Ground-Type and the Psychic-Fairy-Type had clashed upon contact, shaking the floor. Speaking of the floor, it was starting to come apart. "Oh, I can feel it..." Cosmos cackled as once the floor had let up, instead of it revealing the downstairs section of the castle, it was revealed that Cosmos had used her magic to summon some sort of dimension. "My magic is returning to me...I'm so close to my prime! And my reign as well!" Doing this caused some of Luna's Pokemon to fall through as they entered this strange dimension that had been made within the castle. Rubble could be seen floating as Gliscor, Musharna, Xatu, Florgres and practically any Pokemon that could fly or hover had kept a perfect balance despite the emergence of this dimension. But, the Pokemon that couldn't fly, float or hover had fallen into it. Cosmos would sacrifice her controlled Pokemon just to ensure her victory, even if her opponents could just simply fly. However, the true danger of the dimension came from what it was capable of. It nearly mirrored the Malice Dimension as a plethora of horrible things started spewing out of it. Florges had used Light Screen, granting all of her allies a protective veil of Infinity Energy for better defence against whatever Cosmos would throw at her. "Sister! Go and find Premium Polish!" Luna said before zapping away at a stampede of approaching Donphan. "I can bring try and bring back some of our guards! And maybe Cynthia and her Pokemon as well!" "You can?!" Celestia faced Luna as Gliscor and Xatu protected the Princess of the Night from Glaceon and Kommo-o. "Lunar Ire can maybe do something about this. I can try and break her control! Go!" "Alright! Good luck, Luna!" Celestia put all of her faith into Luna. "Let's go, Passion!" "Gardevoir!" Celestia and Passion would search for Premium Polish, hoping that she was okay. She was currently with Arcanine, meaning that the android filly was in good hands but in this state, that protection could fade away. "My revenge on you hasn't finished yet, Celestia! So you won't be going anywhere!" Cosmos swiped her hand as the dimension that could be found underneath this part of the castle had suddenly expanded. It had a gravitational pull to it, forcing Celestia and Passion back. This was where Luna shined. She already had her fair share of gravity thanks to the Empress. With the spell that her parents cast on her along with the magic of Lunar Ire and she managed to counteract the gravitational pull. Cosmos made it heavier while Luna made it lighter, allowing for her sister and the Embrace Pokemon to fly freely away from the dimension and room. Despite Luna chiming, the dimension was still growing as the castle was starting to crumble. "Face it! At the end of it all, I have you outmatched!" Cosmos appeared in front of Luna, grabbing her by the neck. "My magic isn't at its fullest and yet I'm still proving to be quite a handful, aren't I?! You should know that since you know who I am!" "I do know...!" Luna growled as Cosmos started gripping her neck. Luna stayed strong even with this powerful grip. "But, it's just like what my sister had said...you're not prepared for what modern-day Equestria has to offer!" Her Royal Canterlot Voice snuck in there as the force of her voice managed to damage Cosmos' ears. "Gaaah!" Cosmos flinched as she held her ears. Being attacked in the ears was truly uncomfortable, but that immediately inspired Cosmos to do the same. She had also used her voice to her advantage, however, her usage of it was far more catastrophic. "ENOUGH!" Cosmos used her magic to boost the volume and intensity of her shout. It surpassed Luna's by milestone as the force of it generated a soundwave so powerful that not only did harm the ears of her opponents and allies, it also blew them all back as well. Luna groaned as she put up a protective shield around herself, blocking out all sound. However, the power behind Cosmos' shout was far too destructive. Her Pokemon couldn't do anything to stop this. Luna's shield along with her had been launched by the frequency waves as it also started cracking. Right as everyone was being pushed back by this mighty soundwave with no one being able to stop it, Cosmos had also opened up a hole within the dimension. The hole was void of anything, unclear of where it led to. Mainly because it didn't lead to anything. Instead, something had emerged. A claw belonging to a familiar Pokemon. A Pokemon that was close to Luna who had also been possessed fairly recently. Darkrai. Cosmos had used the body of Darkrai exclusively for Luna. Once his claw emerged from the hole, Cosmos had used Dark Void, immediately shooting it at Aurorus and the others who were still being held back by the soundwave. "A-Auro!" Aurorus gasped as Dark Void was a direct hit. Immediately after it consumed her with a flash of black and purple, Aurorus had been put to sleep. Cosmos sent more Dark Voids, scattering them as small black orbs. She ended up utilizing Dark Void differently thanks to her Chaos Magic, turning the orbs invisible. All of Luna's Pokemon were being put to sleep by these invisible orbs of darkness when they least expected it. Not like they could do anything as Cosmos seemed to have no limit to how long she could scream. Her screaming didn't stop at the castle. It affected the outside, harming the ears of the ponies living there and throwing them off focus. "Aurorus!" Luna yelled within her bubble, seeing her Pokemon immediately doze off. She was the only one who could see the invisible orbs thanks to Lunar Ire's magic but her options were slim at the moment as the claw of Darkrai extended. It appeared much larger than Luna, her shield and almost every Pokemon here. With this massive claw, it had hovered over Luna's bubble, immediately grabbing onto it. Out of the hole, Darkrai emerged with Cosmos deciding to switch over to him instead, finding Darkrai to be closer to her true form. At least in some properties. Luna looked up to see her ace Pokemon being used against her as the grip of Darkrai started shattering her shield. Luna looked in horror at what Cosmos was doing to her best friend. And Cosmos knew it. And loved it. "Still think it was a good idea to let your big sister leave?" Cosmos asked, laughing at Luna as now she was on her own with all of her Pokemon asleep. "It'll be somewhat amusing defeating you with your friend. But I think I'll play with you for a bit in this dimension here! Hows t-" However, before Cosmos could finish one of her many tangents, she suddenly felt her body tire out. Mainly the body of Darkrai. It caused her grip on Luna's shield to weaken as she felt wobbly. "W-What is this?!" "Musharna's ability. Synchronize. The moment you put her to sleep...you shared the same status as her." Luna smiled as once again, Cosmos was at a massive disadvantage with having a severe lack of Pokemon Knowledge. "Curse it...!" Cosmos was aggravated by this, even when she had been granted some knowledge and skills of Pokemon Battling. She quickly switched control back to Cynthia's body before then continuing her attack there. Darkrai's body had fallen asleep with Cosmos immediately focusing all attacks on Luna, who was on her lonesome. "Fire!" "Garchomp!" Garchomp had used Stone Edge as every other Pokemon on Cosmos' side unleashed their strongest special attacks onto the Princess of the Night, ganging up on her. Luna braced herself as the magic of Lunar Ire had repaired her bubble shield. However, she wondered how long she could last as all of the attacks had struck the shield, resulting in this entire dimension lighting up. Cosmos' magic was rising once more as somewhere out there in the world, she could feel the next Andalusian Star nearby. Frenzy Forest. Afternoon. "Absol's not here..." Meanwhile, Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie's search for Absol had led to nothing. After he went missing last night, Pinkie had used the powerful noses of her Slurpuff to track down Absol's scent. The six Slurpuff did manage to follow his scent to the Frenzy Forest, which had been repaired to avoid suspicion, but unfortunately, there was no trace of Absol anywhere. His scent ended here. "Slurpuff..." The Slurpuff shook their heads, unable to go any further. "Absol's scent just ends?" Twilight's voice had a sense of nervousness in it. Hearing and knowing this changed how she perceived this entire scenario. Normally, she wouldn't be too worried as Absol was stubborn and amazing at surviving in the wild. But without a trace of him left and with nowhere else to go, the Princess of Friendship feared for Absol. Something that she never felt except for the Darkest Day event. "Where could he be?" Pinkie Pie sighed. "And where are all the Pokemon from Frenzy Forest? This place should be populated from all sides..." "Del! Delphox!" Indeed, there were some Pokemon still left behind. Emerging from the acre of trees that were once burnt down and crushed by the terror that befell Frenzy Forest last night was Delphox. A popular figure in this forest. And in her arms was the Lion Cub Pokemon Litleo. They were still around the forest while the others were gone to raid Canterlot. It wasn't just her. Gothitelle, along with Dottler had emerged before Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Espeon, Sceptile, Machamp and Slurpuff. The controlling pink glow from Cosmos' was no longer within Gothitelle's eyes, but neither Twilight, Applejack or Pinkie Pie would know that. "Delphox? Litleo? It's just you two?" Applejack said. "Delphox! Have you seen Absol around?!" Twilight desperately asked. "Delphox..." Delphox closed her eyes, holding Litleo close to her. Litleo was currently asleep, exhausted after last night. It was the afternoon and he had yet to wake up. Delphox shook her head, unaware of where Absol was. "Gothitelle." But Gothitelle stepped forward, having something to say. Something important to share. She looked Twilight in the eyes, sharing a Psychic link with her. Twilight gazed back at Gothitelle as the Astral Body Pokemon spoke to her via telepathy, giving Twilight something crucial to know about. Not just about Absol, but the current event that was ongoing. Gothitelle had shared information about Absol. She knew where he was. And it was all thanks to Cosmos controlling her. Cosmos' biggest advantage to controlling someone was that she was essentially gaining an extra pair of eyes and ears. Gothitelle had appeared as one of the various Pokemon who had been controlled by her, but now, she appeared free. "Absol's in another dimension?!" Twilight blurted out after being shared this information. Gothteille gave so much in so little time. But that was one of the many perks of being a Psychic-Type with such high intelligence. "Gothitelle." Gothitelle continued, giving Twilight the last details that she needed to know. "What else did she tell you?" Applejack asked. "Gothitelle was able to see where Absol went...There's this being called Cosmos. She took control of everyone here in the Frenzy Forest...becoming their eyes and ears. That involves even Cynthia and some of our teachers it looks like. She saw Absol fight back against her while this forest was being burnt to the ground. "But...it looks fine now." Pinkie Pie looked at the forest as nothing about it had changed at all. "That's because Cosmos used her magic to redo the damage that was done. Pinkie." Twilight turned to face the earth pony with a worried expression. "I'm afraid we're dealing with another draconequus." "Another?! There's more!" The party pony was blown back. She thought that Discord was the one draconequus in existence. Now, she was aware that another existed and potentially more. "Gothitelle." "You were able to break free of her mind control. Is that same for every Psychic-Type?" Twilight asked. "Goth." Gothitelle shook her head. While it was revealed that she managed to free herself from Cosmos' control, other Psychic-Types did not have that same luxury. Delphox had merely been saved by Gothitelle herself to even be here today. "Gothitelle! You have to tell me how I can get to that dimension!" Twilight flew over to Gothitelle, pleading with her. "I need to get Absol back right now!" "Telle..." Unfortunately, Gothitelle could not help with that. She knew where Absol had been sent to, but getting there was nigh-impossible unless it was from Cosmos herself. "Absol..." Twilight stomped her hoof on the ground. However, she did not lose hope. Twilight knew that Absol had a specific location. Granted, reaching there was an issue, but it made her strong, knowing that the Disaster Pokemon could be saved and was out there in the stars. "Then...he's somewhere where the Andalusian Star Constellation would be. That means we're being used, aren't we?" "Used? Wait, what about Cynthia and the others?" Pinkie Pie asked. "That's the thing, Pinkie Pie. Cynthia and our teachers are also under her control. And it looks like Cynthia's the main vessel for Cosmos. The maps she gave us...these locations don't lead to the stars at all." Twilight took out the map from her saddlebag, opening it. All the locations here did not point to a single Andalusian Star. "We've been tricked! All of us!" "Mew-Mew?!" "Espeon?!" "Sceptile?!" "We have to go get them!" Pinkie Pie stretched her mane. "Or should we get to Absol first?!" "I don't think we can reach Absol right now. The best thing we can do is head for our friends first before something bad can happen." Since Absol couldn't be reached at the moment, the rest of her friends were next in line to be saved. "Telle. Gothitelle." However, before Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie could zoom off to find their friends, Gothitelle had one last thing to share with her. Another telepathic message had been sent to her, regarding one last thing about Cosmos. The Astral Body Pokemon had then pointed east. The east led to three specific places. Deerling Forest. The Pikachu Highlands. And more importantly... "She's raiding Canterlot!?" Canterlot. Everything that Gothitelle managed to gather from her time being possessed by Cosmos had been shared. She knew everything. "So do we go to Canterlot first?!" Now Pinkie was stuck on where she and Twilight should head to first. The options were little but intense in terms of their stakes. Twilight Sparkle thought about it. Knowing that Canterlot was being attacked meant that some of her friends including her parents were in grave danger from the Spirit of Malice. Most of the Pokemon from Frenzy Forest were joining in on raiding the place thanks to Cosmos' control over them. It was a tough decision for Twilight, but she made up her mind. "We'll save our friends from far away," Twilight replied, taking out her Xtransceiver. "I've got faith in Princess Celestia and Luna to protect Canterlot. For now, we need to see if they're okay." "Alright." Pinkie Pie nodded, understanding Twilight's choice. It was not an easy one as she had multiple important individuals in her life on different sides at this point. By using her Xtransceiver, she called for Rainbow Dash. However, there was nothing. No response from Rainbow Dash at all. The Xtransceiver waited 10 seconds until there was no response from it all. Twilight then switched over to Rarity, hoping for something. But even she did not respond. "None of them?" She then quickly went over to Starlight's Trainer Number calling it. 10 seconds had passed. Not a word. "How come they ain't picking up?" Applejack asked. "I don't know!" Twilight tried calling for Starlight next, but that failed. Spike was a failed call as well. "It's as if something's blocking it! Oh, please...someone respond!" She went over to the bottom option where Fluttershy's Trainer Number was. Twilight bit her lip, praying that one of her friends would at least respond. The fact that none of them had picked up their Xtransceivers only made the Princess of Friendship, the Cowgirl and the Party Pony Pinkie Pie worry. So far, worrying was overtaking them in this entire predicament. Thankfully, Fluttershy ended up responding. She was the only one who was not away from home. "Hello. Twilight?" An exhausted Fluttershy, who was currently being healed by Audino's Heal Pulse had said. She was laying on her bed, absolutely worn out after the usage of the most Fairy Magic she's had to use so far. Bayleef had used her vines to raise the Xtransceiver up to Fluttershy's bed. "Fluttershy! Are you okay?!" Twilight asked. "You look out of it! I tried calling everypony else and-" "I'm fine, Twilight. At least I will be. I ended up exhausting myself by using so much Fairy Magic." Fluttershy replied. "I tried calling you but I fell asleep before I could get home. It's good to see you were okay." "Thanks. But everyone else won't respond. There's a lot happening right now! A lot of chaos!" "I know. It's about Cosmos." Fluttershy was already ahead of Twilight in terms of the whole Cosmos debacle. "So you already know. Then...what's going on?" "I'll tell you everything. Right now, you have to get to everypony else, Twilight. Discord's gone. He ran away afraid of Cosmos...but I know he'll be back." "Of course he's gone at this time." Twilight put her hoof on her face, stretching it. "Alright! I'll head for Starlight and Spike. I hope we're not too late." "Our teachers...Cold!" Applejack soon realized that Roxie and Roxanne were back at Ponyville. They were also teachers at the Pokemon School after all. "Sorry, Twilight! Pinkie Pie! Go on without me! I need to get back to Ponyville!" "What? Why?" Twilight asked as Machamp had grabbed both Applejack and Sceptile, immediately rushing off with them at great speeds. "It's Cold! Roxie and Roxanne are with him!" Applejack shouted out with her voice fading in the distance. As the journey continues. Chapter 783 End.
