Deception of the Unown

The Illusion World of the Unown.

Right now, Clemont's group had been warped into an illusion world by the many Unown. A world filled with pink skies, verdant and soft grass that had the same feeling as a trampoline

"We're in an illusion now? Aw, we fell for it!" Scootaloo groaned.

"Then again...we couldn't tell that it was an illusion with that glowing..." Sweetie Belle sighed. "But what's with all of that?" She pointed at the mountains of trophies, apples and ribbons that were super-sized.

"The Unown have the power to perceive the feelings of others, creating powerful illusions from what I'm told. This is a big example of it."

"Feelings? Uh...I don't remember feeling grass like this." Diamond Tiara shook her head whilst pressing her hoof down on the trampoline-like grass. Her hoof bounces up afterwards due to the friction.

"No. But I did." Silver Spoon spoke. "It was in one of my dreams. I dreamt of bouncing up and down on grass one time and it kinda stuck."

"Wait, this is yours?!" Diamond Tiara turned to her best friend. "Uh...Why?"

"It seemed fun."

"Then those ribbons must be from me and Diamond Tiara, right?" Sweetie Belle looked at the giant ribbons, noticing them as Contest-Style Ribbons instead of traditional ones.

"And those must be my trophies!" Scootaloo cooed at the giant trophies. Apple Bloom didn't need to point out what belonged to her due to the giant apples. "Wait, what do we even do now? And how do we break out of this place?

"Uh...not sure. Being in an illusion isn't really something I'm too knowledgeable on." Clemont laughed nervously scratching his hair. "But it's fine! We'll figure a way out of her!"

"How?" Bonnie asked.

"With science, of course!" Clemont raised his finger before lowering his head. "Unfortunately, I didn't invent anything for this yet. But I will soon!"

"Well, might as well check this place out. Might find an exit." Sweetie Belle was the first to gallop along, choosing to explore this place and see if there was a way out. Everyone else followed afterwards, heading for the mountain of objects before them.

All the while, walking on the soft bouncy grass. Speaking of which, they were so fond of its friction that they started actually bouncing on it. And of course, Silver Spoon was the first to do so. This was essentially her idea in the first place. And this was a much better way to travel than just walking.

The height they received with this bouncing was fairly satisfying as they even did some tricks in the air just to be stylish. For a moment, they were forgetting that they had just been pulled into an illusionary world by some aggressive Unown.

"Woohoo! Bouncy grass isn't a bad idea, Silver Spoon!" Diamond Tiara giggled.

"I know right?!" Silver Spoon responded whilst doing a front flip and crossing her hooves, showing off what she learned during her dreams. The Pokemon were certainly enjoying this as well as everyone was heading straight for one of the trophies here.

"Have you thought of something yet, Clemont?" Bonnie asked while bouncing around, holding Dedenne.

"Hm...Well, if we want to escape from here..." Clemont put his hand on his chin while bouncing around on the soft grass. "We'll have to try and use this world to our advantage. Since this illusion is made of our feelings and things we like, then it's safe to assume everything here we respond to our mind."

"Our mind?" Scootaloo repeated.

"Mhm. The Unown want to keep us here as long as they can so that they can have all the time in the world to eliminate every source of Fusion Magic." Clemont theorized.

"Oh, so it's like Luna's Dreamworld?" Sweetie Belle said whilst Piplup flew over her.

"Uh...Whatever that is sure." Clemont shrugged. "If I'm right...If we think of an exit, it might appear."

"Oh. Really? Then in that case..." Diamond Tiara closed her eyes, sticking her tongue out as she wished for an exit out of this illusionary world, despite how nice it may be.

And just like that, without any time to waste, a giant door had emerged right in front of everything as they were bouncing. Fittingly, it resembled the door of her home.

"Hah! Easy!" Diamond Tiara cackled as she went ahead of everyone with a higher and longer bounce. "Now let's get out here and-"

Unfortunately, it wasn't that simple.

Appearing in front of the door was the unexpected. Something that could be considered a massive obstacle, a huge brick wall preventing them from advancing. And that so-called brick wall ended up destroying the door when it came crashing down, causing the soft and bouncy grass to tremble and crack.

Everyone immediately stopped bouncing as they either fell flat on their faces or their backs, ending the fun. "Ow!" They all collectively said in pain.

"Going somewhere?" Just then, a voice echoed in their direction. And that voice came straight from the force that had destroyed the bouncy grass and the door. Everyone held their head before immediately looking up. And what they saw shocked them. At least, the fillies. Clemont and Bonnie were exempt from this.

A giant Cheerilee was standing before them.

"Miss Cheerilee?!" The five foals gasped.

"Hello, girls~!" The giant Cheerilee waved with an innocent whistle. "Bet you thought it would be that easy to leave here, wouldn't it?"

"I thought you wished for a door to exit here! Our entrance is gone!" Silver Spoon exclaimed.

"I did!" Diamond Tiara responded. "I didn't think of Ms Cheerilee!"

"So the Unown can interact with this world even outside of it?" Clemont gasped as he caught on. He was a fast thinker after all.

"Sorry. But I can't allow you to leave." The giant Cheerilee shook her head.

"Yeah well...I don't want you here!" Diamond Tiara shouted as she gave out another wish. And with that shout, Cheerilee's eyes opened up as she scrunched her face, knowing what was coming next.

"Uh oh." The last words she said before she up and vanished in thin air. Diamond Tiara had just sent away a massive obstacle and would aim to wish for the exit back.

At least, that seemed to be the case, until the giant Cheerilee emerged once more, appearing in the same spot she stood before, much to their surprise.

"Just kidding!" She whistled. "Like I said I can't allow you to leave!" And suddenly, Cheerilee's appearance started warping a bit as her teeth intensified as she now bared fangs. Her mane even gained a sharper appearance along with her eyes mating lizards. The transformed Cheerilee then swung her hoof towards Clemont and the others to try and knock them away.

"Woah-Woah-Woah!" Clemont gasped as he and everyone immediately started bolting off in the other direction. The hoof scraped the ground, causing parts of it to be destroyed in the process.

"Who's the one who thinks about Ms Cheerilee like that?!" Scootaloo backed up.

"Sorry! She's just really scary sometimes when she's upset with me!" Diamond Tiara confessed, revealing that it was her.

While running, Apple Bloom chose to think of the exit out of here herself. She closed her eyes, wishing for a way out of here. And her wish came true. Right in front of everyone while they were running, a large hole could be seen instead of a door.

The giant Cheerilee had then galloped, causing the ground to shake as she had spotted the exit made by Apple Bloom. Clemont and the others took a large leap to try and get as far away from the giant as possible. And it was a success. They all managed to pass through the hole as it had ended up closing.

But it didn't take them outside of the illusion.

Instead, once they fell out, they all hit the ground. A different ground. All of them landed on each other with Clemont being the cushion since he jumped through first.

"Ugh..." Clemont groaned after being a shield for them, cushioning the impact. The area that they were in now was one giant amusement park. Filled with coasters, food stands, various rides and more. Noticeably, they resembled the rides seen from the Pokemon Festival. Both the first one and the second one.

"Wait!" Apple Bloom sat up. "This isn't the real world! I wished to go back! What gives?!"

"I think I get it now." Clemont stood up as everyone got off of him. "If we try and leave here, the illusion of the Unown will just take us elsewhere or change the outcome."

"Ah! That's not fair!" Bonnie moaned. "Then how do we get out of here!?"

"Still thinking of a way here..." Clemont pondered. "There has to be a workaround with the Unown."

"Then...how about this?" Scootaloo came up with her own idea of overcoming this illusion. "I wish for the Unown to be defeated!"

She bellowed at the top of her lungs as her voice echoed across this illusionary world, breaking some of the glass in this amusement park and even reaching the clouds. Scootaloo most definitely amplified her voice just to make herself sound more majestic.

But nothing happened.

"Aw, seriously?!" Scootaloo groaned.

"Just like I thought. Anything related to beating Unown and leaving here is blocked out. But aside from that..." Clemont held his hand out as he made a Poke Ball appear out of thin air, holding it. "We can wish for anything else."

"That's right." Responding to Clemont's words was the familiar voice of the illusionary yet somehow real, terrifying and gigantic Ms Cheerilee.

She broke right through the sky of this illusionary world with little effort. The sky had shattered as the giant teacher made a fairly impressive entrance. She stomped her hoof on the ground, trembling the whole amusement park in the process.

"Time to go!" Clemont cried out as everyone immediately rushed off to try and escape from Cheerilee again. Making another exit would just be redundant. They would have to figure something else out while running from a giant illusionary teacher.

The amusement park's size could be of great benefit. Scootaloo and Silver Spoon immediately hopped onto a roller coaster whilst Cheerilee galloped at her prey. Clemont and Bonnie went inside of a ride that was in the shape and theme of a cave whilst Diamond Tiara, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom chose a water slide ride.

The coaster instantly started up once the two ponies entered it. And instead of taking time to build up speed, this ride moved rapidly instantly. The coaster moved upwards as the ride was in the shape of a Rayquaza moving around. With her fangs baring, the giant Cheerilee took a bite out of the coaster tracks.

One bit and she had ripped off a large part of the ride, shaking the track and carts that Scootaloo and Silver Spoon were on, almost throwing the coaster off balance. Cheerilee then went for it again. This time with her hooves.

"Sorry about this Miss Cheerilee! Cyndaquil, use Swift!"

"Cynda!" Cyndaquil jumped out of the ride, swinging his blazing tail forward as hyper-fast golden stars came flying out, rapidly pelting and bombarding Cheerilee in the face.

"Ough!" The giant Cheerilee cried out as she had been pushed back a bit by Cyndaquil's swift. However, she immediately returned the favour by swinging her hoof, smacking the Fire Mouse Pokemon aside. The force of her swing was so great that it even knocked the cart off the track from the wind pressure it made.

"Woah!" Scootaloo, Silver Spoon, Cyndaquil and Glameow started screaming as they had been thrown off the ride. The illusionary Miss Cheerilee then held her other hoof out, catching the four of them instead of allowing them to fall to their doom. Even if this was all an illusion. But it felt so real.

"Don't worry about it." The illusionary Cheerilee said to them. "You can stay here in this wonderful world for as much as you want without having to worry about too much. Let the Unown get rid of all of that Fusion Magic, okay? Okay."

"Mm-mm!" Scootaloo shook her head. "No thank you! Pachirisu, come out and use Spark!"

"Pachi!" Emerging out of her Poke Ball without it needing to be thrown was the EleSquirrel Pokemon, Pachirisu. With a coating of electricity, she shot out of her ball like a rocket, smashing right into the giant Cheerilee's face. giving her 20,000 volts of shocking electricity.

Cheerilee scrunched her face as she quickly retaliated by whacking Pachirisu to the side with her head. The EleSquirrel Pokemon hit the tracks before fainting on the ground.

"Pachirisu!" Scootaloo gasped as Cheerilee curled her hooves up, holding the four of the tight and close. The giant then turned around, facing the cave that Clemont and Bonnie hid in.

With a purposeful grimace, she smashed her hoof through the hole in the cave, startling Clemont and Bonnie as a wide hole had been made. And through the hole, the giant Cheerilee looked through with her lizard-like eyes.

Clemont and Bonnie made a run for it as the giant illusionary Cheerilee then swung her hoof, smashing the top half of the cave ride off. The brother and sister went further into the ride as Cheerilee kept obliterating the cave with her hooves, not slowing down for anything.

And all the while she kept that wonderful and cheerful smile on her face that the real Cheerilee always holds. Seeing Cheerilee holding and attacking their friends, Apple Bloom and the others decided to try and do something.

"Make her lose!" Apple Bloom wished, but nothing happened. "Guess that doesn't count too. Fine! Emolga, use Thunder Shock, go!"

"Mol! Emolga!" Flying upwards out of the water slide that she and her friends were sliding down on, the Electric-Flying-Type soared through the sky before unleashing a blast of lightning from his body. The blast split up in multiple directions, but due to Cheerilee's side, all of them could hit one target.

Right from behind, the giant Cheeriee had been shocked by a collection of 10,000 volts each. Her mane frizzed up as she was actually frozen in place for a bit. Unfortunately, that ended up shocking Scootaloo, Cyndaquil, Silver Spoon and Glameow in the process.

And even more, unfortunately, Cheerilee easily shook it off as she let out a cheerful yet intimidating laugh whilst still holding on to her targets. And with that laugh, she had summoned something.

High in the skies, even though the cracked sky that Cheerilee broke through, something started falling. An assortment of items. Familiar and recognizable to any.

Chairs, tables, large chalk, rulers and a giant chalkboard. All objects that could be found in a classroom. And it was fitting considering her role. But aside from that, hundreds of these objects started falling from above, having the potency to crush any small target they come across.

"Oh!" Apple Bloom and the others gasped as the objects started crashing down, damaging the amusement park as they were surprisingly heavy. The ponies used the water slide to their advantage, attempting to escape from the falling classroom items. The items also broke through the cave ride, almost hitting Clemont and Bonnie.

The water slide was being damaged, breaking the balance and position of it as the fillies held onto it for dear life. As for Cheerilee herself, raised her hoof, stomping on the ground and creating an earthquake. All of the rides trembled and even lost balance from the force of her stomp.

Apple Bloom, Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Bele collectively flew off of the slide when the ride was being broke apart by the objects and the earthquake. They used the end of the slide to do so, which was fairly high up.

By flying off, the three fillies went all the way towards one of the attractions here that also exist in the Pokemon Festival. The Tangrowth Swing-a-long attraction. They put their hooves onto the vines, wrapping around them as they were now dangling in the air with objects raining. Their Pokemon also held on as well.

Cheerilee then turned to face them as she started galloping after the fillies and their Pokemon, ready to rip the vines off with her sharp fangs. With loud screeches, the ponies started swinging on the vines, building up momentum instantly with their wishes. They started swinging from vine to vine whilst the giant Cheerilee started biting on the vines behind them, tearing them to shreds in just 2 seconds.

She then pursued them by tearing more of the vines apart.

"Grrh! Ponyta, help!" Scootaloo called out for another one of her Pokemon. And from the Poke Ball, out came the Fire Horse Pokemon.

"Ponyta!" Immediately when he emerged, Ponyta descended to the ground instead of landing on the giant Cheerilee's hoof. But this was for a good reason.

Once down on the ground, the Fire Horse Pokemon used Double Kick, bucking his hooves right onto hers. And one good hit from that potent Double KIck was enough to make her illusionary bones tremble.

"OW!" The giant Cheerilee cried out as that kick actually stung. Afterwards, Pachirisu got back up, using Spark, zigzagging across the area like a lightning bolt, avoiding the objects. The EleSquirrel Pokemon then smashed into Cheerilee's other hoof, giving her a shock and an impact. Cheerilee cried out as her grip on Scootaloo and the others weakened.

This allowed Scootaloo's group to escape by running on the giant Cheerilee's hoof. The giant Cheerilee shook her head, looking down at the Fire Horse and EleSquirrel Pokemon. But, she didn't focus on the fact that her prey had escaped from her and were running on her hooves. That is until she felt something run across her body, giving her a slight tickle.

"Cyndaquil! Flame Wheel!"

"Glameow, Sand Attack!"

"Cynda!" The Fire Mouse Pokemon curled into a ball, summoning an aura of fire around him as he rolled on the giant Cheerilee's hoof, leaving a trail of fire on it.

"Hot! HOT!" The giant cried out as Cyndaquil rolled fast and high enough to hit her in the face whilst then rolling on her back. Glameow's paw glowed an orange colour as she generated sand.

"Gla!" She then swung her paw, sending sand into Cheerilee's eyes, blinding her and obscuring her vision in the process. All of this gave Scootaloo and the others their escape as they slid down the giant Cheerilee's tail.

"In here!" Clemont cried out as he had found another ride to hide in. It was in the shape of a Tyranitar mouth as everyone went towards his and Bonnie's direction.

Everyone followed them as Diamond Tiara's group slid down the last remaining vines, descending to the ground. They all avoided the falling classroom items along the way. And if they couldn't, their Pokemon could handle it by destroying the objects with various Pokemon moves.

Afterwards, they all entered inside of the Tyranitar cave whilst the giant Cheerilee was still a bit blinded from Sand Attack. Plus she was recovering from the injured hooves and burn she had received.

"Whew..." Sweetie Belle sighed as they all sat on the ground. "For an illusion...this all feels pretty real."

"Yeah. About that..." Clemont scratched his hair. "I've figured out that this is just more than some illusion. This is actually another form of reality that we're in. That would explain our bodies being warped."

"Well, that doesn't make it any better." Silver Spoon shook her head as they could hear the sound of Cheerilee moving once more as her voice echoed throughout the amusement park.

"Children! Where are you~?"

"Please tell me you've come up with something to get us out of here." Apple Bloom pleaded as she gulped. They were all in the deepest part of this Tyranitar ride, so they were safe for now.

"Hm-hm-hm-hm!" Clemont let out a chuckle before pushing his glasses up. "Glad you brought that up. Because indeed, after some time, I've found the perfect way to escape from our little predicament."

"Well, what is it?" The CMC leaned forward.

"Since this world won't allow us to leave no matter what we do, I figured that the best way to break free is to defeat the Unown themself. And the way to do that is by dragging them in here."

"Oh...How?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"We have three ways of doing this. I can use the test tube to drive them out. It has what they want to destroy. Then we can disrupt their focus with this!" Clemont stood up before pulling something out of his bag. "The future is now thanks to science!"

Out of his bag, an invention in the shape of a fan came out as it had large speakers on the side as well as a dial with various levels on it.

"The Unown seem to communicate with electromagnetic waves instead of Telepathy like most Psychic-Type Pokemon. And like anything that utilizes electromagnetism, it can be disrupted by something that can block it all out. This will do the trick. One use of this and the low frequency will disrupt the magnetic aliments. The lowest setting is the way to go."

"Lowest? Wait, not highest?" Scootaloo scratched her mane.

"Not at all." Clemont shook his head. "Now, there is a second way, but that's harder to accomplish. We'd have to find a high force of power so great that it can counter the spell that the Unown made. So, this was the easier way."

"Then hurry and use it!" Diamond Tiara exclaimed as Cheerilee's giant footsteps sounded like they were getting closer. Many classroom objects were starting to break this ride apart as well.

"Right!" Clemont nodded as he pulled out the tube from his pocket, raising it in the air. "Unown! I have a tube of Fusion Magic with me! If you want it, come and get it!"

His voice echoed and rang through the Tyranitar ride. The giant Cheerilee's ears twitched after hearing that as she moved her head around, heading for the direction where she heard that sound.

However, she quickly stopped when she saw something else appear from above. Breaking through the rest of the pink sky were the Symbol Pokemon themselves, appearing in massive droves. It seemed that the ones from the power plant had all shown up here.

They swarmed around the sky, heading for Clemont's direction as they immediately responded to his call. And why wouldn't they? Any chance they can get to eliminate Fusion Magic or anything related to Rift, and they'll take it.

Some of the Unown used Hidden Power, firing red beams from their eyes, blasting holes through it and revealing Clemont's group. The Unown had then spotted the tube being held by Clemont as they had found their target. Immediately, they descended towards the Tyranitar ride.

"Now!" Clemont placed the test tube back in his pocket before activating the machine. One usage and the fan around it started spinning. Once the fan spun, it reacted to the speakers on the side. And out of those speakers came low-frequency waves that went straight for the Symbol Pokemon.

When they were close enough, the waves worked their magic. They were visible in the form of yellow soundwaves as they engulfed the Psychic-Types immediately. The Unown received high voltage from the frequency as the alignment of their bodies were being broken out of focus.

Some of the Unown started dropping like flies, unable to handle all of this. Just like how Clemont planned. One by one in seconds they were being taken out by the low frequency. Everyone was cheering as the chances of them breaking free from this world were high. They even noticed the pink sky rippling.

"Yes! Just a bit more and we're out of here! Let's make it lower!" Clemont turned to the machine, ready to decrease the frequency some more to speed up the process.

However, that's when the giant Cheerilee took action. With one hard stomp of her hoof, she created yet another earthquake, causing Clemont and the others to fall over. Especially the invention. With it falling over, the soundwaves went in an opposite direction, but they were still wide enough to affect some of the Unown.

Seeing how big of a threat the machine was, some of the Unown focused their attacks on the machine, firing Hidden Power from their eyes.

"Luxray!" Luxray shielded the machine by using the aura of Wild Charge as a shield. Luxray closed his eyes as the beams of Hidden Power rained down on him. Bonnie and Sweetie Belle went over the machine, holding it to try and put its position back to normal.

The giant Cheerilee had finally found them as she ripped the whole Tyranitar roof off with her teeth. Now they were certainly in a deep corner right now.

"Ponyta, Cyndaquil! Ember!" Scootaloo commanded. "Pachirisu! Charge Beam!"

"Pony!" Ponyta and Cyndaquil opened their mouths, shooting out sparks of flames whilst Pachirisu fired a concentrated bundle of electricity. Each attack struck the giant Cheerilee forcing her back.

But there was still the issue of the Unown. The machine had been placed back into position by the two children. However, the Unown kept firing those red beams with various types inside of them. Some of the Hidden Power Ground within it as Luxray couldn't take anymore.

The Hidden Power Ground broke through Luxray's aura of electricity, damaging and knocking the Gleam Eyes Pokemon back. "Lux!" Luxray cried out as he crashed into the machine. Afterwards, the Unown then went to a higher height to distance themselves away from the low frequency. Altogether, they used a bombardment of Hidden Power towards the machine.

Clemont held the machine as he tried running off with it. But it was too late. The red beams moved too fast for him to avoid as they struck the ground near him, knocking Clemont off his feet whilst also making the machine fall over again. "This isn't good! We won't be able to beat them all at this rate!" Clemont cried out.

"Then let's try that other plan!" Silver Spoon exclaimed while her Glameow and the rest of the Pokemon were trying to hold the giant Cheerilee back. Some were being smacked away by her hoof. Silver Spoon caught Glameow, who had been hit by a giant hoof. "Glameow! Are you okay?!"

"The other plan isn't so easy! What we need is some form of power that can match or surpass the Unown! But together, they're far too strong!" Clemont cried out.

"Power...?" Sweetie Belle moved her eyes around as her own brain was starting to process something. Something that could solve their problem and get them out of here. Her eyes then flashed and widened as she grinned. "I got it! Come out, Espurr!"

Emerging from her Poke Ball by force was the Restraint Pokemon "Espurr!"

"Oh, that's right! Espurr's ears restrain its true power!" Clemont gasped. "That could work!"

"Okay, Espurr! Open those ears and release everything!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.

"Es..." Espurr nodded in understanding as she allowed the restraints around her ears to be dropped. With that, the true Psychic power that Espurr holds back could be unleashed. "Purr!"

With an echoing voice, Espurr exuded enough Psychic energy to blast everything within 300 feet of herself, right in the shape of a radius too. It sounded like a bomb going off as well as a shockwave as everyone near Espurr had been blown back by this amazing force, even her own trainer and friends.

The giant Cheerilee was about to take another swipe at the Pokemon before having her body struck by Espurr's Psychic pulse. She was even knocked off her feet by it. "Oh my!"

The pulse spread across the air, heading for the sky as the Unown weren't safe from this either. They had been stopped in place in response to the Psychic blast from Espurr. And it wasn't a one time. Espurr was allowing this attack to continue. It won't end until this illusion breaks.

Unfortunately, the machine had been destroyed by Espurr's blast as everyone closed their ears. However, despite how effective her true power was, the Unown could counter this.

They formed together as they merged their own Psychic power to fight back against Espurr. They did this by emitting a purple pulse, similar to Espurr's.

"Purr?!" Espurr noticed that her own Psychic power was being pushed back suddenly. When the Unown come together, an odd power is formed as the dex says. And they've proven that a couple of times. The Restraint Pokemon closed her eyes as her feet were being scraped on the ground.

"Espurr! Hang in there!" Sweetie Belle cried out whilst everyone was being pushed back by the clash of Psychic waves. Espurr was really giving it everything she had. This was all her Psychic power had to give out.

"Break their focus, Emolga! Use Acrobatics!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.

"Emo-" But the moment Emolga even dared get close, the Psychic blast would just knock her away. "Molga!"

"No good! The Psychic blasts around the area are too great!" Clemont groaned whilst holding onto his little sister. As if things couldn't get any worse, more Unown were showing up for the tube of Fusion Magic.

"Espurr! Pull back! Return!" Sweetie Belle cried out. But Espurr refused to return. If there's any chance of them breaking out of this world, Espurr was their chance. She would do everything in her power to make it happen.

"E-Esp...Espurr!" The Restraint Pokemon whimpered as the ground below her was shattering. Not only that, but the whole amusement park was falling apart. The sky was trembling too.

The best option was to head somewhere else in this illusion world. Sweetie Belle held out Espurr's Poke Ball, trying to return her. But by using her own wish, Espurr negated it as she stayed in. Sweetie Belle's jaw dropped, seeing how much determination that Espurr was giving out despite her disadvantage.

That's when the unexpected occurred.

Espurr's body started glowing a beautiful silver colour. Afterwards, that silver light brightened into a stunning white before ascending, transforming into a pillar. Pink psychic sparkles could be seen rising as a giant purple eye flashed around the pillar.

Everyone watched in awe as the Psychic blast struggle was being halted for a moment. Now, no side was winning the struggle. At least, that seemed to be the case. That is until the pillar exploded with Psychic energy, blowing the Unown back a bit as Espurr's own blast was moving forward. Or at least, it used to be Espurr.

Now it was Meowstic.

Evolution was finally here.

"Meowstic!"

"Oh! Espurr! You evolved!" Sweetie Belle stood up tall with her heart racing. She immediately took out her Pokedex to read her partner's new form.

"Meowstic. The Constraint Pokemon. Female Form. When in danger, it raises its ears and releases enough psychic power to grind a 10-ton truck into dust. The eyeball patterns on the interior of its ears emit psychic energy. It keeps the patterns tightly covered because that power is too immense. Females are a bit more selfish and aggressive than males. If they don’t get what they want, they will torment you with their psychic abilities. If it doesn’t hold back when it unleashes its psychic power, it can tear apart a tanker. Its unfriendliness is part of its charm."

"Meow!" With greater power than ever, Meowstic gained a temporary boost in power with an adrenaline rush. After all, when a Pokemon evolves, its power skyrockets for a few minutes. Afterwards, everything returns to normal. The blast of Meowstic was so great that it overpowered the Unown.

All of the Unown had been struck by a greater force. One hit and the struggle had ended. Clouds separated as the amusement park trembled. Not only that, but Meowstic's amazing power did what needed to be done.

It was so great that the illusionary world was actually affected too. Many of the Unown had fainted from the Psychic blast, once again, falling like flies. Due to how many of them had been defeated, the illusionary world was unable to contain itself without proper concentration.

And because of this, it was coming to an end. Clemont and the others smiled as they saw the sky itself wobble with the ground morphing. The giant Cheerilee looked at herself, noticing that she was starting to fizzle out.

"Oh, what a shame." She sighed. "Oh well. At least I can exist in dreams, so it's not a total loss."

"Yes! It worked! Everything's falling apart!" Scootaloo cheered as the last thing they all saw was a bright golden light engulfing the whole world.

And that was it.

The real world. Kalos Power Plant.

"Oh!" Sweetie Belle gasped as she and her friends were back to reality. Safe and sound too. Thank goodness they didn't faint after returning. Smiles graced their face as Meowstic stood there, crossing her arms.

"Meow." She was definitely more emotive as a Meowstic and had some sass now.

"Meowstic!" Sweetie Belle lunged over, hugging her ace. "You're so amazing! Look at you now!"

"Meow-Meowstic!"

As for the Unown, due to their defeat, they immediately called for a large retreat. They had lost and saw how big of a threat Clemont and the others were. And if they were going to be here at the Power Plant constantly, they would rather pass out on this.

Everyone watched as the Unown fled from the Power Plant, disappearing with a flash of purple Psychic energy. And that solved that problem. They all collectively sighed after going through that rollercoaster of a scenario.

"Finally. Haha...We got to have our own intense adventure...how great is that?" Scootaloo giggled while exhausted. And for a good reason, The moon had actually risen, showing how long they were in that world.

"Can't believe you dragged us into this...But it was worth it." Diamond Tiara nodded in agreement as they all laughed together, wanting to relax for a little while longer.

Outside the power plant.

"Thanks for the help you all," Clemont said as he and Bonnie faced the five ponies and their Pokemon. "I've kept a low-frequency machine inside of the facility permanently. That should keep them away from the Power Plant for a long time."

"No problem! It was nothing, really?" Scootaloo smirked.

"Happy to help!" Apple Bloom nodded.

"Now, let's continue to Ninja Village before the contest starts." Sweetie Belle said.

"Oh! You're off to Ninja Village?!" Bonnie gasped.

"You know it? We're heading there after hearing what Ash told us about it. Since we're on our own journey, that's the main place we wanna go to." Sweetie Belle explained. "Hopefully soon."

"Ash, huh?" Clemont smiled. "Well, if it helps, how about we show you the way there? We've been there once before."

"Really? Oh yeah, that'd be great!" Silver Spoon exclaimed before jumping up. "This map is too useless!"

"Leave the guide to me." Clemont pointed his thumb at himself. "We'll be at Ninja Village in no time. Two days maximum. Maybe one."

"Thank you. But uh...can we sleep first. I'm beat." Diamond Tiara sighed.

"Way ahead of ya'll." Apple Bloom already took out the essential tents from out of her bag. "We've got a lot to tell Applejack and the others when we get back!"
