//------------------------------// // Ancestor // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Unova. Opelucid City. Afternoon. During the search for presumably two Alpha Pokemon, an Alpha Pikachu and an Alpha Pachirisu, Ash's party had been led to the mall. The same mall where Celestia was having the time of her life as a human, battling an Ace Trainer by the name of Eileen. The mall had suffered a power outage that shut everything electronic off. The mall and all of its services had been interfered with, locking some customers in and out of the building. Ash and the others were trying to find their way in because of this. Eventually, they found a normal dor that needed manual action. When they entered the mall, they saw how the staff were trying to get things started up and under control. Customers and their payments had been interrupted, leading to some potential chaos that no one wanted. "That power outage's already had its effect on everyone," Iris observed. "Where are we gonna find Pikachu though?" "It probably did it in the control room. If it was caught, then it would've probably run off." Twilight explained. "It might be running around in the mall right now." "Pika. Pikachu." "Pikachu? You're saying you can find the other Pikachu?" Ash translated as his best friend nodded in confirmation. "Okay then. You know your species better than I do. Do what you can." "Pika-Pika!" "Are you sure you want to catch that Pikachu...?" But just then, before the group could continue searching for the Alpha Pokemon, an eerie voice halted their movements, drawing their attention as it was both silent yet strong enough to be heard by them. "Huh?" Ash and his party turned to see the origin of the voice. And the one who spoke was that same green-haired, crimson-eyed lady who had been watching them from before. She made her appearance in front of them. "That is a bold action in every way." The lady spoke as this time, she was wearing clothing that was identical to the staff's uniform. "Catching that Alpha Pikachu will be a stellar game changer for everyone." "How did you know we were going for an Alpha Pikachu?" Fluttershy asked. "If you do catch that Pikachu, what will happen to this very scenario?" The lady rubbed her creepy hands together, bringing on an uncomfortable vibe that cause Hisuian Zorua to squeak. She looked at the strange lady before gasping, as if she was shocked by something. "Wait a minute..." Zorua felt like something was off about that lady. Or rather, she seemed familiar. "What are you saying?" Iris questioned. "Who are you anyway?" "Who am I? I'm just a simple old lady, aren't I? But I do look somewhat young in my 50's I'll admit. As for what I'm saying...those Alpha Pokemon that you have, Twilight Sparkle, are very important to time itself." "Time itself?" Twilight repeated. "Oh yes. The concept of Alpha Pokemon fizzled out over the years and that name has become a blur. Until those Time Leaks appeared and started bringing those Pokemon from the past into the present. Some would say that they shouldn't be here. And you have some of them at your disposal." "I uh..." Twilight wasn't sure what to say next. "Of course, you managed to successfully catch them. But what happened when you caught those Pokemon? Certainly, something out there must've happened. Something big. And the same could be said for when you catch that Pikachu." "What's wrong with catching that Pikachu?" Ash questioned. "Pika?" "You should hear this the most, Ash Ketchum. If that Pikachu were to be caught, the chances of time being altered pop up. Especially since that Alpha Pikachu is a direct ancestor to yours." The lady then revealed the truth about this Pikachu, startling the others. "What?!" "Ancestor?! You're not saying what I think you're saying?!" Iris gasped. "Wait a sec..." But this revelation brought Ash back to a conversation he and Twilight had with the People of the Water when searching for Alpha Luxio. "We heard that even more Alpha Pokemon had been spotted. We're struggling to understand how that's possible. They should've vanished over time with their descendants being the only remnants of them being left behind." "Pokemon have ancestors? From that far back?" Back then, Twilight was shared this crucial information. "It's not just us humans. And I can safely say the same for those living in the other world. Pokemon also have ancestors from years ago. But for certain Pokemon, Alpha Pokemon are their ancestors." "And just like what Passion's mom said about Pokemon with unique abilities...So the Pikachu here is my Pikachu's ancestor?!" "Pi? Pikachu?!" "Spot on. So, young lady. If you were to catch that Pikachu, what will happen to your friend Ash over here? Will life go on normally, or will everything be turned upside down?" It all started to click to Twilight. Time was a heavy factor in all of this. And she might've already altered it after catching Rapidash, Munchlax and Luxio. But she wasn't sure how. What she was sure about was Ash and Pikachu's future. Everything ties to that Pikachu and everything in the current day could potentially collapse depending on what happens next. "Of course...You could always leave it to Pokemon Hunter J and let her change time itself. Then, it would lead to an inevitable outcome. Or maybe not? Or maybe someone else could catch an Alpha Pokemon out there..." Her words weren't making it any better. They were only making Twilight think harder. "Hey! You're scaring her!" Iris exclaimed at the mysterious lady, trying to stick up for Twilight. "But, she might have a point." Fluttershy knew exactly what the mysterious lady was talking about. "Time is very important, you know. What do you think, Twilight?" "But..." The lady had more to say. "I did say there were chances. I didn't exactly say it was guaranteed." "It's not guaranteed?" said Ash. "You can maybe see it as some sort of divine intervention, or absolute luck. But those Time Leaks aren't what you think they are. They may have time in them, but there's something unique about their existence that differentiates them from any other time anomaly. I'm sure you're smart enough to figure that out, Twilight Sparkle." "I know you!" Finally, Zorua recognized the mysterious green-haired, crimson-eyed lady. "You're that Witch I saw once!" "Witch?" Iris and Fluttershy repeated. Zorua knew about this witch as well since she came from the same region in the past. The Hisui Region. "Hoh. That's not very polite." The Witch chuckled, lowering her hat. "Sometimes, I prefer Wizard or Enchantress." "Hang on a second." Twilight intervened. "From what you're saying, there's a chance that nothing will happen." "That's right. There's a chance. That's the beauty of the Time Leaks and their special effects. Have you made up your mind?" "It's a big risk. I set out to try and catch many if not every Alpha Pokemon there is, but I'm taking a big gamble with time itself. But...Hunter J could easily change that as well. I can't take that risk." "So. What is your answer?" "I'll still try and catch them," Twilight revealed what she wanted to do. She bravely took the biggest risk possible. "Huh?! Wait!" Iris jerked back. "A-Are you sure?! She said some pretty intense stuff! This could be a real game changer?! I could..." Iris then had a deep thought for a few seconds. "I might never be a champion if that's the case!" "And I may never meet you, Ash." Twilight looked at Ash. "It's pretty nerve-wracking, isn't it?" "But, she wouldn't be telling us this if there wasn't a chance, right?" Ash saw the positive in all of this before glancing at the Witch. "You're here to help us instead of giving us that big scare." "You catch on well, Ash Ketchum." The Witch chuckled. "The special effect the Time Leaks leave behind is all dependent on you, Twilight Sparkle. When you come face to face with that Pikachu, you'll know exactly what I mean. Until then..." Just then, as if time had frozen, everyone was frozen in place for a bit. And the second they all blinked, the mysterious witch was gone. Just like that. There wasn't a trace of her left. "Huh?! W-Where'd she go?!" Iris wondered. "Could it be magic?!" "She is a witch, so that would make sense." Fluttershy nodded. "But everything said was so eerie." "Well, Twilight. Are you gonna head for that Pikachu now?" Ash asked. "I am. And whatever happens next is up to me, she said. I think I might know what she meant by that. And well...leaving that Pikachu on its own could creature future problems." It was decided. They would go and try and find that Alpha Pikachu. However, instead of searching for this Alpha Pikachu, Pikachu essentially gave off signs that led them to the Mouse Pokemon. Another flare of electricity had gone off, creating a powerful golden light that stretched across the mall. It went off two times in one second. The power was back on for a bit, only to then go off seconds later. This conversation lasted long enough for them to get an easy hint as to where Alpha Pikachu may be. Without wasting any time, they advanced, following the main point of where the flare of electricity came from. Back at the Ace Trainer Battle Arena, Celestia and her opponent Eileen were too focused on the battle to even notice the power outage. Celestia especially. Both the thrill of a Pokemon Battle and the way she could pose now that she had the body of a human. "Let's finish this! Hidden Power Rock Simisage!" "Simi!" Simisage leapt at Arcanine, unleashing Hidden Power in the form of orbs, ready to finally defeat the Legendary Pokemon. "I think not! Flamethrower!" Celestia bellowed, raising her arm. "Arca...!" Arcanine held his breath in before unleashing a greater Flamethrower from before. "Nine!" And it all resonated with Celestia as her body was letting out golden sparkles. The stream of fire raged out, not only overpowering the orbs, consuming them in the scarlet flames, but it had also reached Simisage, engulfing the Thorn Monkey Pokemon. "Simisage..." Simisage dropped to the floor, finally fainting after a fierce battle with Arcanine. "Simisage is unable to battle! Arcanine wins!" "Yes! We've had our first victory every!" Celestia jumped for joy, revealing her wings once again due to pure excitement. "Ah! What a wonderful feeling!" "Canine!" "Hm. Thank you, Simisage. Return." Eileen returned her Simisage. "That lady's extra strong...There's something strange about her. Aside from those wings." "Oh, Arcanine! You're amazing!" Meanwhile, Celestia was relishing in her victory, hugging Arcanine and picking him up thanks to her height as a human. "Arcanine!" Arcanine licked her face, wagging his massive tail out of happiness. "Don't celebrate just yet!" Eileen pulled Celestia back in, holding out another Poke Ball. "This battle's still on! I've got two Pokemon left! Go, Simipour!" "Simipour!" Out came Simipour next. "Right. Let's continue, Arcanine!" "Arcanine!" Arcanine ran back in, ready to continue and guide Celestia to victory. At the same time, there was something bigger happening within the mall. Storage Room. "Pika...Pika..." The Alpha Pikachu was still on the run. After shutting all of the power off again, everything went dark. The staff were trying their best to start things up and find the culprit. Now, the Mouse Pokemon found itself in the storage room of all places. And this was for one reason. A bottle of ketchup. "Pika!" Alpha Pikachu, who was around the height of an average Raichu, had found himself boxes of ketchup. All of it was sitting there, expected to be put on shelves, only for Pikachu to use Iron Tail, cutting the boxes apart and letting out mountains of ketchup bottles. The Mouse Pokemon excitedly drank from the ketchup bottles, making a mess already and painting the storage room red. At the same time, the mall was in a state of panic with the staff trying to sort everything out. But in this scenario, Pikachu controlled the power of the mall, preventing anyone from getting what they wanted. "In here?" But just then, a voice travelled through the door, alerting Alpha Pikachu. It was the voice of Ash. "Pika! Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu also spoke through the door, alarming Alpha Pikachu which prompted him to stop his feast. The Alpha Pikachu was obviously aggressive and having his meal interrupted rubbed him the wrong way. Since he already busted into the storage room, the door was available for anyone to enter as both the handle and the lock had been broken off, prompting Ash to fully open it. And there he was. Pikachu's ancestor. "It's Pikachu!" Iris cried out. "And a big one too...That's at least the size of a Raichu!" "Oh my. Look at all of that ketchup. He must've been incredibly hungry." Fluttershy pointed out the bottles of ketchup that were scattered everywhere. "There he is, Pikachu. Your super great grandfather..." Ash uttered. "Pika...Pikachu." Pikachu couldn't believe he was looking at one of his ancestors right now. To initiate the traditional Electric Rodent meeting, Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder to greet his grandfather. "Pika?" The usual way Electric Rodents and other Pikachu greet each other is by holding out their tails and connecting them. Pikachu hoped that Alpha Pikachu would do the same. "Pi?" Alpha Pikachu looked down at Pikachu's tail, dropping his bottle of ketchup. He looked at his descendant, unaware of who he truly was. But he knew was a fellow Pikachu. After a moment of silence, Alpha Pikachu also stuck his tail out. "Pika." "Pikachu." Pikachu put on a cheery face. There was something magical about meeting his many-great grandfather. The two tails connected, creating sparks of electricity. "Pika-Pika!" They exchanged electricity which made them fuzzy inside. "That's surprising...usually, Alpha Pokemon are aggressive from the start," Twilight said. "I guess greetings are the exception." "In that case...Come on out, Emolga!" Iris would give Alpha Pikachu another electrifying greeting from a fellow Electric Rodent. Her Emolga. "Emolga!" Upon emerging, Emolga noticed the traditional greeting. She saw both her old friend Pikachu and another Pikachu in the same room. Excited, Emolga ran over, putting her finger out. All she needed was a finger to share electricity. It connected to both Pikachu as she joined in, sharing some of her electricity. "Emol." "Pi? Pika!" Pikachu was also happy to see Emolga again, exchanging electricity. "You're right. I heard Alpha Pokemon just attack on-sight. So what gives with this one?" Iris asked. "It might be because he was hungry," Fluttershy answered, already seeing what could lead to Pikachu being so gentle at the moment instead of instantly going onto the attack. "Really?" Twilight turned to her. "Look at all those ketchup bottles. He must've come here for something to eat. Being well fed with something it loves must keep it gentle. Not sure why it would be ketchup..." "My Pikachu loves ketchup," Ash replied, already knowing how his Pikachu feels about ketchup. "So, it makes total sense for this one to like too. I guess every Pikachu loves ketchup. Sweet." "Aw...if I had known that, I would've given him some ketchup." A missed opportunity in Twilight's eyes. If she had some ketchup, she would've probably got to Pikachu easier. That's when Twilight realized she had that chance. There was a mountain of these bottles after all. "Unless..." "Pika. Pikachu!" Now that he got to meet his ancestor, he decided that now was the best time to share that he was his grandson. His direct descendant. "Pika?!" Alpha Pikachu was reasonably taken aback by this. This was all shocking to this larger-than-average Pikachu in every way. He couldn't believe that he had a grandson or that he was a grandfather. "Emol? Emol?" Emolga was looking back and forth at them, not fully getting what was happening. "Here." Twilight went up to Alpha Pikachu, holding out a bottle of ketchup to the Mouse Pokemon. "How's this?" "Pi...?" Alpha Pikachu looked up at Sci-Twi. At first, his red sacs were flaring with electricity. Despite being surrounded by another Pikachu and Emolga, the humans were still a red flag for him, causing his happy face to transform into a fierce face, causing Twilight to gulp. "Pika...!" "Pika! Pikachu!" However, Ash's Pikachu had held back his grandpa, preventing him from taking any drastic actions, especially in this room. He told his grandfather that Twilight was a friendly face in every way. There was no need reason to fear her. "Pi?!" Alpha Pikachu looked back at his grandson, listening to what he had to say. Thankfully, Pikachu was a Pokemon that could listen to reason immediately. "Emol! Emolga!" Emolga vouched for that. Mainly because she didn't want Iris to be harmed in the chance that Alpha Pikachu shocks everyone. "Pika." Alpha Pikachu would take their word on it. He already grew fond of his grandson and Emolga. He faced Twilight who still had a nervous look on her face, gently holding out the bottle of ketchup. Pikachu then grabbed the bottle, keeping his electricity active, just in case. But nothing happened when he took it. Twilight did not act. Because of this, Alpha Pikachu was free to drink this ketchup bottle safely. "Pi...Pika!" "Nice going, Twilight." Ash gave a thumbs up. "You too, Pikachu. Emolga." "I want to befriend Alpha Pikachu instead of battling it. Using the ketchup bottles is the best way it looks like. Here's another, Pikachu." Twilight would continue to feed Pikachu, passing by some more ketchup bottles. Ash and the others would stand back, allowing Twilight to handle everything else. "Pi? Pikachu!" Pikachu excitedly grabbed the rest of them once Twilight held them out. He drank away and due to this abundance of ketchup bottles, there was a red mess on his body and the floor too. But he could care less. This was the most peaceful Alpha Pokemon Twilight had seen so far. And it was glorious. She kept it coming, appeasing Pikachu, who was already looking very pleased. "Hang on. Isn't this for the mall?" Fluttershy stopped Twilight in her tracks. "Should we keep doing this?" "Don't worry about it." Iris shook her head. "As the Champion of Unova, I'll talk to Drayden about it. Plus, we've avoided any further trouble with the city after all." "Pika! Pikachu!" Excited about the ketchup he was being given, Pikachu got playful, holding out a bottle and pressing on it. BY doing so, he accidentally blasted his grandson with the bottle of ketchup. "Pi?" "Ka!" Ash's Pikachu received a face full of ketchup by accident. But it was a happy little accident as ketchup was his favourite as well, prompting him to lick it off. But after that, Pikachu decided to retaliate in kind, grabbing one of the bottles from Twilight's hands. And right after that, he squeezed the bottle, blasting his grandfather. "Pika!" Alpha Pikachu had been hit back. And this resulted in a playful exchange. He grabbed some more bottles, shooting back at Pikachu as Ash's Pikachu did the same, beginning a Ketchup Battle. "Oh! Hey, you'll make this a bigger mess than it needs to be!" Twilight exclaimed as Emolga was caught in the crossfire, struck by red streams which had knocked her down. "Emol?!" Emolga shook her head as she then gained a crimson flash in her eyes. Much like her fellow Electric Rodents, she was easy to pull in when it comes to playful feuds. Immediately after getting back up, The Electric-Flying-Type joined in on the fun, grabbing some bottles and squeezing them in retaliation. "Pika!" Both Pikachu's had been struck by the crimson streams. They laughed, shooting Emolga back, however, Emolgahad one advantage. Flight. "Emolga! "She took the skies, firing the bottles from above for an aerial advantage, causing the two Pikachus to rethink their strategy as it was now erupting into chaos. But it was about to get more frantic. "Hold on! Let's-" Iris stepped in, only to be then hit in the face by Emolga's ketchup streams, stopping the Champion of Unova immediately. "Emo!" Emolga gasped, realizing what she had done while Ash was trying to hold in his laughter. The ketchup slid down Iris' face as at first, she looked furious about it, making Emolga gulp in fear of what could come next. "Why you...You wanna play it like that?!" Iris indulged in this, grabbing heaps of bottles as she soon joined the fun, blasting her own Pokemon out of the sky. "Emo!" Emolga had been sniped out of the sky, falling into the mountain of bottles. Iris started attacking the grandfather and the grandson right afterwards. "Hey, don't leave me out of it!" It was only a matter of time until Ash joined in. Something like this was up his alley as he grabbed his fair share of bottles to start blasting away. "Oh, ASh..." Twilight sighed, facepalming right afterwards as Fluttershy suddenly ran past her. "Fluttershy! You too?!" "Of course! Isn't this fun?!" Fluttershy said before placing the Pokemon Egg down safely. "It's a huge mess, is what it is," Twilight replied before watching all of them go crazy with the bottles of ketchup that were strangely endless. Watching it made Twilight smile. Even though it was chaotic and messy, she had gotten used to it after living with Pokemon. "Ah, who am I kidding? Let me have a go!" And soon, she had been pulled in. Everyone joined in on the fun as the storage room would soon become a red mess. And they were all loving it. They battled away, losing track of time in the process. And Alpha Pikachu grew fond of these people. It was more than what he expected would happen. "Simisear..." Meanwhile, Simisear had been defeated by Arcanine as well. And all it took was a meaty Close Combat. "Simisear is unable to battle! Arcanine wins!" "Another one down by the same Pokemon..? Ugh. Thanks, Simisear" Eileen groaned before returning her Simisear. "Simipour it is then! "Simipour!" Simipour was the last of her three Pokemon. And Celestia was on a roll, seemingly unstoppable. "Garde! Gardevoir!" Passion cried out, wanting to join the battle desperately. Arcanine already had his turn as she flailed her arms. "Oh. S-Sorry, Passion. But I'm not allowed to switch out unless Arcanine faints. Sorry, but I'm on a roll now." Celestia apologized as Passion sat down, crossing her arms and puffing her cheeks out of jealousy. "I'll make it up to you when we get back." "Gardevoir..." "Simipour's going to put an end to your streak! I won't be perfected! Simipour, use Hydro Pump!" "Simi...Pour!" Simipour started with a high-volume blast of water, aiming to finish Arcanine off in one shot. "Meet it with Flamethrower!" "Arcanine!" Arcanine would meet a super-effective attack with Flamethrower, of all things. But he proved to be strong enough to match Hydro Pump as Flamethrower clashed with the blast, resulting in an equalized struggle. "Close Combat!" "Arca!" Arcanine jumped through the smoke as his paws were covered in an orange energy, ready to deliver what he already delivered to Simisear. "I don't think so! Superpower!" "Simi...Pour!" Simipour would meet Close Combat with Superpower as two powerful Fighting-Type attacks had collided. And after all this time, Celestia's magic had just been building up within during this battle. Her eyes flashed yellow as they resonated with Arcanine. "Arca...Nine!" Arcanine had beat out Superpower, overpowering it. Arcanine delivered a continuous stream of attacks to Simipour right after breaking through Superpower. Sparks flew everywhere as Simipour was sent flying after a vicious headbutt. Everyone could feel that one as Simipour even rolled on the floor. "Si...Simi...Simipour..." Simipour tried getting up after that, slowly sitting up. But the impact was for too great, causing it to faint after just one strike. "One hit?!" "Simipour is unable to battle! Arcanine wins! Thus the winner of this battle is...Uh...W-What is your name?" The referee didn't get Celestia's name at all. Celestia figured that now was a good time to spill it since she amazed everyone. "Celestia." "Celestia! Wait, Celestia??!" The referee jerked back along with everyone else. That name has become somewhat famous in this world thanks to the connections. "The Ruler of Equestria..." Eileen's jaw dropped before she then crossed her arms. "Hmph. I don't feel too bad about it now, I guess..." "Oh, that was so much fun!" Celestia rushed over to Eileen as everyone else was still talking about how Princess Celestia was just casually here. "Many thanks for the battle, Eileen. It was a thrill to the very end." "Oh, uh. Y-You're welcome, your majesty. It was my pleasure." She now referred to Celestia with a formal attitude. "You've defeated one of our Ace Trainers. Would you like to be promoted as one, Princess Celestia?" An employee asked. "Oooh, that sounds wonderful. I'll take the title. And perhaps, I'll go above that as well." Celestia giggled, accepting the title. She was now considered an Ace Trainer. "I should also be going now. Apologies that I can't stay! Farewell! It's time to go Passion!" "Gardevoir." Passion was still upset about not having a chance to battle. She pouted before using Psychic to grab all of the bags following Celestia and Arcanine. The people applauded Celestia's battle, praising the Princess of the Sun to show her the utmost respect. Despite preferring to be free and be like everyone else, Celestia didn't mind some praise here and there. She could always have the best of both worlds. And it was up to her to make that happen. Late afternoon. The orange glow of the sun could be seen. The day was almost over. Ash and everyone had left the mall, ready to head back home. It would be time for Celestia to lower the Sun in her world after all. Ash and his party came out of the mall looking like a red mess after the fun they had. Alpha Pikachu joined them outside, no longer flaring electricity around. "Oh my. What happened to you all?" Celestia said. "You're all so messy." "We uh...had a lot of fun." Twilight squeed. "And we made a new friend too. This Alpha Pikachu." "Pika-Pika!" "Well, we need to clean you up before anything. Hod on." Using her many spells, Celestia pointed at Ash and the others, harnessing her magic as her horn was starting to slowly appear on her head. Just like that, she was able to gravitate the ketchup towards her, manipulating it. Afterwards, Celestia sent the ketchup to the nearest bin, successfully cleaning up with the power of magic. Everyone looked brand new and sparkly too as golden particles surrounded them, fixing them up. "There we go. Much better. Today was a fantastic day. I certainly enjoy being a human. I know that I'm certainly coming back to this world another time." "Glad you liked being one of us," said Fluttershy. "We're looking forward to when you show up again." "Hm. And I'm excited to see you all sooner than you think. The next Pokemon Festival is coming up and I believe you all should join. Any gateway you pass through will lead you to the festival." "Ah, sweet! Another Pokemon Festival!" Ash jumped for joy. "I can't wait!" Iris was aware of this special festival. "I'll see you soon there, Ash!" "You bet, Iris!" "So, Pikachu." Twilight kneeled, facing the Alpha Pikachu. "I was wondering if...you would come with me." "Pika?" "Yeah. It's a big risk though, but, I'd like for you t come with us. If that's okay with you." Twilight held out a Poke Ball to him. And the moment she did so, Twilight felt an odd sensation come through. Just like what the Witch said, Twilight would know when the time comes. And now was that very moment. Twilight froze for a bit as she looked at Pikachu with wide eyes. There was something calling to her. A mystical aura could be seen by only her as it was around Pikachu's body. Pikachu tilted his head as the magic within Twilight was giving her signs. The effects of the Time Leak had finally shown themselves, showing Twilight's rapid visions. They ended abruptly as she shook her head. But a part of her knew what she needed to do now. "So that's what she meant...strange," Twilight uttered. "But anyway...what do you say, Pikachu?" "Pika..." Pikachu thought about it for a moment. Twilight was the one who offered him some ketchup bottles, making it clear that she meant no harm. He looked at his grandson and Emolga as well as the others. They all had different faces but a similar mood. Pikachu could tell that they trusted Twilight as much as they trusted each other. "Pikachu." Pikachu then poked the Poke Ball's button with his nose, allowing it to shrink his body. The Poke Ball pulled the Mouse Pokemon in as he agreed to join, just to see how Twilight was and the potential to spend some more time with his grandson. The ball shook in Twilight's hand, beginning the countdown. 1...2...3...Gotcha! Pikachu was caught. And thankfully, Ash and Pikachu were still here. They looked at each other, wondering if there were any changes done drastically to them. But it was all fine. "Phew...Crisis averted. We're still here!" Ash cheered. "Pikachu!" "So that's why the Witch said that there's a chance instead of a guaranteed possibility." Twilight smiled. "I think I get how these Time Leaks may work. Come out, Pikachu." She then released Pikachu, sending him out. "Pikachu!" Alpha Pikachu returned. Immediately after showing up, he knocked the Poke Ball out of Twilight's hands, causing it to roll on the floor. "Ah! Hey!" Twilight cried out. "Guess he doesn't like staying inside Poke Balls either. Like Grandfather, Like Grandson, I guess." Ash jokingly said as that reminded him of Pikachu's reaction to POke Balls early on in their adventure. It then prompted everyone else to laugh as now Twilight would have two Pokemon out of their Poke Balls who would be beside her. But, she didn't mind it. "Let's head home, all of you." Celestia grabbed Ash and Twilight's shoulders as they were all ready to head back to their respective homes. They had a good time here. "See you at the Pokemon Festival, Ash. Pikachu. And hopefully all of you." And Iris would see them again potentially in the Pokemon Festival. That was a promise. She parted ways as it was back to the gateways and home sweet home. And as they departed from here, the mysterious Witch decided to stick around for a bit, standing within the crowd and dressing up as a normal everyday lady, wearing a sunhat. As always, she decided to get the last word in. "You've done well, Twilight Sparkle. You preserved time with your well-natured spirit. However, can you do the same for the rest of the Alpha Pokemon you meet? We shall see in the future..." As the journey continues. Chapter 836 End.
