My Little Pokémon

Short: What next for the People of the Water

Hoenn. Lilycove City. Nightfall.

It was finally over. The Dragon Force had been stopped. Sealed back into the crystal that emerged from, the destruction had ended at last. Carlita was mainly responsible for making this happen but with the assistance of allies and friends, she couldn't have done it alone.

"Whew..." Ash sighed, still having the golden aura around him. "Glad that's over with."

"Pikachu..." Pikachu laid on his back from exhaustion and so did a few others.

"Is it really over?" Adagio gasped, looking at the trail of destruction that had been caused by this entire event. The clouds were parting after the Dragon Force had vanished.

After seeing it all end, the People of the Water cheered triumphantly, relieved that this disaster had closed off at last. They thought that this would be their last time on the planet, but not at all. Thanks to the efforts of those who came here, they were saved.

The residents of Lilycove City were more confused than most. One moment they were casually living their normal lives and the next moment a gigantic purple energy starts ripping apart their home city, a large temple appears that speed of light and Kyogre showed up.

Needless to say, it was a lot to take it. But, they were glad that the insanity was over. Celestial-Gardevoir, while late, helped at the right time to seal up the Dragon Force. After that, they had separated, returning as Celestia and Passion.

"Goodness...You just have to tell me the whole story behind this event after this, Luna." Celestia said to her little sister.

"I will. And believe me, there is a lot to know." Luna then nodded in response.

"Gardevoir!" Passion then flew past Celestia before approaching her mother Gardevoir, glad to see her again. It had been months since Passion and her mother had reunited.

"Passion! Look at you" Gardevoir gawked at her daughter. "All grown up and as healthy looking like your mother. I can tell that Princess Celestia has taken good care of you."

"Voir! Gardevoir!"

"Ash!" Enola shouted, running over to Ash with Mareanie on her head. "You were amazing! And look amazing too! I knew you'd show up!"

"Thanks. But everyone here was pretty amazing." Ash hovered towards her. "We all did our best to keep everything safe. Even though a bunch of stuff got destroyed from it."

"Pika-Pika."

"Oh! Does that include me?" Enola pointed at herself. "I-I helped bring the crystal here and keep it away from Necrozma."

"You too. Great job, Enola."

"Yes!" Enola pumped her arms, feeling successful. Receiving a compliment from the king was one of the best things she could ever hope for as she jumped around, holding Mareanie too.

"Once again, you've helped us in our time of need, your majesty." The People of the Water approached Ash. "We truly cannot do anything to repay you. We are forever grateful, your excellence."

"I should be thanking you." Ash went over to them. "Well, I already did but one more time. You saved me back there in Unova from the Dragon Force. And it was you guys that solved most of the problems, didn't you? I think that's a good enough debt for me."

"But after all of this...How can we recover? And what will we do afterwards?" An old man asked.

"Our foundation and civilization are limited after years of being nothing but light." A baker replied. "Only you and Prince Manaphy are the main ranks that we have here at the temple. Once more, we ask for your assistance to help us with this final issue."

"Uh...I don't really know a whole a lot about royalty stuff." Ash chuckled nervously, scratching his face. He then turned to the best candidates for this solution. Celestia and Luna. "But they do. Celestia and Luna can get you back on track."

"We can?" The two princesses said, hearing Ash's words.

"Yeah. I mean, you're the royal guys here, aren't you?" Ash flew over to them. His golden aura hadn't faded yet so he was free to fly around as much as he could. "The People of the Water are feeling pretty lost right now. They don't have of that monarchy stuff like you guys, the Crystal Empire and stuff. I think that makes sense."

"We heard what you said, Ash. And that does seem to be the case." Luna nodded. "I do understand why though. It would be hard to recover after those many years and even beyond that."

"But we can most certainly help." Celestia walked up to the People of the Water. "It's a good thing you brought me here, Luna."

"Really?! Oh, thank you so much!" A thankful man went up to Celestia, grabbing her hoof and shaking it aggressively with unnaturally potent physical strength. "We needed this certainly!"

"Y-Y-You're welcome!" Celestia stuttered after being shaken up and down. Everything looked completed at this point. However, there was one lurking issue. Rather, two.

Team Plasma and the Solar Empire. Despite them being trapped within the temples complex traps, due to the Dragon Force's destruction, many of them had managed to escape.

Plus, there was one member of the Twilight Imperium. Tempest Shadow. She was currently inside of the Plasma Frigate, commanding a mind-controlled Diancie to stop Regirock who had been previously captured by Jackie. Only temporary.

And the result was that Tempest barely managed to defeat Regirock. "R-REGIROCK." The Rock Peak Pokemon uttered before falling on its back, fainting. Diancie had just used its signature move Diamond Storm to defeat Regirock.

"D-Diancie..." However, Diancie had fainted as well from exhaustion. The mind control on Diancie had also ended as Tempest was done here.

"Well...he distracted me like he said he would." Tempest sighed before looking outside. "And it looks like that purple thing's gone now. But no ship yet...What's taking Spitfire and the others so long?"

"Trying to get home soon?" Entering the Plasma Frigate and avoiding any chances of drawing attention was Colress and a few other Team Plasma grunts.

"Where have you all been?!" Tempest exclaimed.

"All of that destruction was getting too overwhelming. So, we hid at Lilycove City for a bit. Mostly them. I got busy." said Colress.

"Busy, huh? Meanwhile, I've been here stuck in this temple after that whole travelling thing. What was so busy that you couldn't get me home, hm?"

"Isn't it obvious? The Dragon Force. I tried my hand at getting some of that power. It was just splendid. Unfortunately, it ended in failure. That kind of power is just too much to handle. For now, at least. Which is why I plan to work hard to find a workaround. Besides, it also benefits our alliance, doesn't it? Mainly for Necrozma."

"You raise a good point there. But we still need to get out of here now. Can you do that?"

"Lucky for you, I carry my own Travel Sphere with me," Colress revealed a Travel Sphere in his hand. "We're about done here. Daybreaker got what she wanted by the looks of it."

"Fine." Tempest sighed before using her earpiece to communicate with Spitfire. "Alright. You can head back yourself. I've found a way to get back already."

Colress then opened up the gateway for Tempest while also doing the same for himself and Team Plasma. The Plasma Frigate was damaged, thus, there was no usage for it. Team Plasma gathered up what they could within the Plasma Frigate to take back with them. That included the fainted Diancie and Regirock. Everyone then passed through the gateway, leaving this world entirely.

After a few minutes, the Grand Equestria had returned after being carried here by the Wailord. They were too late to the party, unable to join in on the action. But at least they were safe. The People of the Water were still so happy. They wanted to celebrate but the Dragon Force had destroyed most of the good and everything else. Major repairs were needed.

"Despite this...We could not stop Daybreaker from achieving her goal..." Luna lowered her head. "While some of the crystals were saved, others were absorbed."

"It's alright, Luna. As long as the rest are safe. While it's not a full-on victory, the People of the Water are still in one piece along with the remaining crystals still having their light." Celestia reassured. "I believe we can call this mission accomplished. Well done all of you. Luna. Ash. Everyone And Adagio. Did you learn something?"

"I guess I did." Adagio shrugged. "It wasn't much anyway. Kept mostly everything to myself. But..." She then let out a smile surprisingly. "This was kind of a fun adventure, I'll admit. My heart was racing so fast through it. Plus, I got to learn about my mother. So, I can say I achieved something great."

"That's wonder- Mother?!" Celestia gasped.

"Still. This is a lot of cleaning up to do. "Jackie came over while riding on a Wailmer. He then hopped off the Water-Type afterwards. "Especially for poor Lilycove City. Those contests are gonna have to be delayed."

"Oh yeah. Where are you guys gonna go now?" Ash asked.

"Our temple can still move with the sea currents. However, from all this damage and everything that has happened, we are not so secretive anymore. And restoring power to the previous crystals will take some time." The old man said. "But there is a way to give the crystals their power back. Even if it has a prolonged duration."

"You sure know your stuff, old man." Ash went up to the old man who has given out the most valuable information. "How about...you be my Royal Advisor?"

"M-Me?!" He gasped as his heart almost skipped a beat. "To your majesty?!"

"Mhm. You guys need a king. And even though I don't know a whole bunch about being or king or wanna be it that much, I'll be here for you guys. Not physically sometimes. Haha."

"A great idea, Ash." Celestia approved. "You'll need someone to give you advice for certain. And also someone to watch over the temple while you're gone."

"T-T-Thank you so much, your majesty!" The old man bowed repeatedly with tears flowing out of his eyes. Ash then laughed afterwards at his amazing happiness.

"What's your name?" He asked him.

"M-My name is Alo, your excellence." He gave out his name, revealing it to Ash.

"Alo. Stands for 'one who is a spiritual guide'." There went Ash, knowing about name origins. This also made him realize that potentially, every single person in the Sea Temple had names similar to his family bloodline. "Well, Alo. I'm counting on you, alright? Celestia and Luna will be here to help you sort everything out for ranks and stuff."

"It'll be a bit hard to do so with the currents carrying the temple." Celestia twirled her mane.

"That won't be an issue then. We can use the power of the remaining crystals to keep the temple steady." Alo replied. "Or, we could keep the temple on the surface for a while. It all depends."

"For relief and without having to rely on the Under Water Breathing Spell, the surface would be a good choice," Luna suggested.

"I'll have the Ranger Union pitch in some help too," Jackie said. "Oh. I almost forgot! Aren't Team Plasma here?!"

"Oh yeah!" Ash gasped as he and Jackie immediately went to find the Plasma Frigate, hoping that Team Plasma hadn't caused any more problems even when this Dragon Force debacle had come to an end.

However, when they showed up, they not only saw that the Plasma Frigate was damaged but empty. No one was there at the moment. It was deserted. "Looks like they left already. Darn. Same with Tempest."

"We'll get 'em next time," Ash responded. "I think it's about time we head back, right, buddy?"

"Pika-Pika."

"I'll be heading back to Eindoak now...But uh...Could you guys give me a ride there?" Carlita chuckled as she was far from home at this point.

Everything had wrapped up at last. The People of the Water gave their goodbyes to Ash and everyone while the residents of Lilycove City couldn't help but gawk at the Sea Temple. This was the most that the People of the Water had been exposed to civilization in centuries.

"Ash! Your majesty!" Enola shouted from the distance, calling for Ash. Ash then rotated in response. "When I grow up, I'll e just like you! I'll go out there and see the world!"

"You can start now!" Ash waved in response. "We'll be back and check up on you guys here and there!"

"Pika-Pika!"

"I'll do the same!" Carlita shouted. "If you ever need help with anything Vale related, I'll be there! W-With some help, of course! Still pretty nervous!"

"Speaking of that! If you see my mom, tell me!" Adagio flew over Ash. "When she comes back soon, I'll be there!"

"We will make sure, Adagio Dazzle!" The guards saluted. Everyone gave their farewells for the night. They all needed rest. There was one other farewell.

"Passion!" Gardevoir shouted from far away, near the Routes of Lilycove City. "Continue growing stronger for me, okay?! And since Celestia has taken good care of you, do the same for her!"

"Gardevoir!" Passion could promise that.

The Golden Aura of Ash had vanished afterwards as he was now walking on two feet. But he always had the potential to regain it with the power of the People.

This mission was over.

Universe 11. Equestria. Canterlot. The Solar Empire. Nightfall.

"Well, I believe we can call that a mission success," Daybreaker said on her throne with Necrozma by her side. Everyone had just returned from that mission. Including Spitfire's group.

"It was?" Spitfire tilted her head.

"Sure. Of course, there were obstacles and missed opportunities, yes." She got off her throne, facing her troops. "However, not only did we end up giving light from the crystals to Necrozma. Most of them. But we also ended up giving him the Dragon Force. Something I never heard about for once. Well done, all of you."

"Thank you, your majesty. But we wish we could've done more and retrieved all of them." Spitfire saluted.

"It's in the past. Now we have to focus on the future. At least Necrozma now has a good chunk of light in his body that will last. Our next mission will be coming up soon. So prepare yourself for that, why don't you?"

"Yes, your radiance!" They all saluted before marching off. Necrozma just simply stood there, feeling greater than ever. Daybreaker was already plotting the next mission. And she was hoping to do it without having to follow a group to do so.

Equestria. Lapras Lake. 2 days later.

Due to the Grand Equestria not being able to teleport like the Sunstorm, it took the long way back home. Ash and everyone were tired so they rested on the ship for 2 days.

But once those 2 days passed, they had returned to where they had begun. And everyone welcomed them back with massive cheers once informed by Princess Celestia.

It was a long journey. They all had their stories to tell from what they had experienced along the way. Especially Adagio, who had wonderful news for her sisters. Aside from that, this journey to the Sea Temple could come to a close. And a new one would be birthed another time.

The holidays would have to fill everything in. Christmas and Hearth's Warming came before all of that as the journey continues.

Chapter 624 End.
