My Little Pokémon

Research with my otherworld friend

The Human World. Canterlot. Twilight's home. Day.

Just as he promised, Ash had arrived at Twilight's home to assist this world's Twilight in the knowledge of Pokemon. And there was a lot to inform her about. Ash would let her get caught up to speed with it.

"Ash!" Twilight opened the door. "You actually came! That rarely happens."

"Yeah. Got a bit lost. This place is huge and new, ya know."

"Pikachu."

"Thanks for showing up in the end," said Twilight. "I don't normally get visitors or guests here. Only my parents. So you're the first one here. But helping me with something that catches my interest is something I really appreciate."

"No problem. So you've been researching Pokemon in here all the time? Since last year?" Ash spoke.

"Not last year. 5 months ago really. And most of it was over at Crystal Prep Academy." Twilight replied as Pikachu started playing around with Spike. "I'm a bit late to it all, being coupled up in my room here. Then again, everyone in the world is way behind as compared to your world and the parallel one. But that's why you're here, right? To bring me up to speed."

"Sure am. There's a lot so your other self gave me these!" Ash then took out of his bag multiple books that he borrowed from Twilight just yesterday. "This should work."

"Oh, it will!" Twilight grabbed one of the books with high excitement and enthusiasm. "It'll do nicely. But experiencing the real deal works too. Like your Pikachu. How does it work really? Conducting electricity and iron at the same time. It would have to have AC to DC energy in it for that."

"Oh, that's Infinity Energy." Ash kneeled to face Pikachu who was carrying Spike on his back.

"Infinity Energy?"

"Yeah. It's like the power source of every Pokemon out there. It's also where they all get their strength from and how they use attacks. It's pretty neat stuff. There's even Aura, which is the life force. I've got a bunch of Aura in me. And so does Lucario."

"Aura? Infinity Energy?" Twilight was getting all of this down. "So this Infinity Energy, is it endless as the title of it suggests?"

"Pretty much. It kinda never stops going no matter what. Even Pokemon that aren't naturally made can use it. Man, even Ghosts can use it too!" Ash raised his arms. "It's pretty neat and nifty. That's how Pikachu uses his attacks. When he's shooting out a Thunderbolt, he's letting out a ton of Electric Infinity Energy. Same for everyone else. All 18 types."

"Pika-Pika." Pikachu nodded as he demonstrated by conducting a spark of electricity on his finger.

"Ooh!" Twilight gawked. "Then what about Aura?! And what's a Lucario?"

"Oh, right." Ash selected one of his Poke Balls with Lucario inside. He also had his Pokedex ready to really blow Twilight's mind. "Come out, Lucario."

"Lucario."

"A...jackal...?" Twilight's jaw dropped. "I thought they were only from Egyptian times and a complete myth! And how come it's so...humanoid?"

"Lucario's the Pokemon with the biggest amount of Aura. No one has it better than him, right pal?"

"Lu."

"And check this out." For further shock towards Twilight, Ash revealed the Pokedex to her. The ultimate device for knowing Pokemon, even rivalling books. "This is the Pokedex. A bunch of stuff that you wanna know about Pokemon is in here. It's like an encyclopedia.

"Really now?" Twilight went up to the Pokedex, adjusting her glasses to take a closer look at it. "And how does it work."

"Like this. Check it out." Ash gave a quick demonstration by aiming the Pokedex at Lucario, allowing it to read his entry out loud.

"Lucario. The Aura Pokemon. It has the ability to sense the auras of all things. It understands human speech. By catching the aura emanating from others, it can read their thoughts and movements. A well-trained one can sense auras to identify and take in the feelings of creatures over half a mile away. It concentrates its mental energy and fires off mysterious waves called Aura Waves, which can crush boulders of large size to dust. Only Trainers who have justice in their hearts can earn this Pokémon’s trust."

"Ooho!" Twilight interest had been shot up once more as she even took interest in the Pokedex. "You weren't kidding! Everything?!"

"Yeah! Boy, I'll tell ya, these things have come in handy a bunch in the past. Plus it's super fun to look at how much you've got sometimes."

"Can I see and test it myself? And do you have more Pokemon with you?"

"Sure do. Come out, guys!" Ash took out all of his Poke Balls, throwing him into the air. Almost all of them, he held Dragonite's Poke Ball mostly due to the size of the Dragon Pokemon. Aside from that, out came Gengar, Galarian Farfetch'd and Dracovish.

"Gengar!"

"Farfetch'd."

"Draco! Dracovish!"

"Check it out! The rest of my Pokemon. Well, almost. Dragonite's pretty big to fit in here." Ash looked at Dragonite's Poke Ball.

"You have a Dragon?!" Twilight gasped before being handed the Pokedex. "And what even is that thing? What creature is it based on? An imp maybe?" She pointed over at Gengar, who was zooming across the room, giggling about.

"Gen-Gengar!"

"Oh, no. Gengar's a Ghost."

"Ghost?!" Twilight squeaked from that as Gengar appeared in front of her, giving the student a sudden scare.

"Gen!"

"Aaaah!" Twilight screeched as she fell on her back after seeing Gengar's face. The Shadow Pokemon then giggled playfully, doing what it does best. "Oh..."

"Sorry about that." Ash chuckled. "Gengar does that a lot. It's also a Ghost-Type's way of saying hi."

"Gengar.

"Ghosts, Jackals and Dragons, oh my." Twilight held her hair before standing up. "Here I thought they were just animals and fantasy creatures. I would've never expected some like a ghost. And what's wrong with that...fish?" She referred to Dracovish.

"Right. Dracovish here is a Fossil Pokemon from the Galar Region." Ash patted Dracovish on the back which prompted the Fossil Pokemon to bite on his head. As is tradition. "Ow..."

"This is a fossil? How so? Fossils are well...meant to hold what used to be a creature in the past. There's no way they can ever come back unless you were to go back in time or something like that.

"That's the awesome part about the Pokemon World!" Ash spread his arms out while having Dracovish gnaw on his head. Twilight was a bit worried about that. "We've got machines that can revive Fossil Pokemon too. There's a couple of 'em like Aerodactyle, Carracosta, Archeops, Tyrantrum and so much more! And it gets better. Farfetch'd here's got a different appearance."

"Different appearance?" Twilight kneeled to face Farfetch'd. The Wild Duck Pokemon merely closed his eyes, shifting them away from Twilight. "Hmph. Rude."

"Yeah. You see, this is a Galarian Farfetch'd." Ash began explaining. "A different form of Farfetch'd that comes from the Galar Region. And you know what that means?"

"That there's..." Twilight started building up her thinking process before reaching the answer. "Another variant out there?!"

"Mhm! The Kantonian Farfetch'd! Check this out." Ash then showed Twilight the two different Farfetch'd. One from Kanto which was a Normal-Type and the other from Galar which was a Fighting-Type. "They're not the only ones. There's even more. There's Alolan Pokemon too. And uh...I don't know if there are other regional variants out there, but I'm gonna take a good guess and say that there are."

"Okay," Twilight noted everything down on her laptop and notebook, being a great multitasker. "This is great so far. I'm loving this already." She giggled, finding massive enjoyment in learning something new and wonderful. "But you're going a bit too fast, Ash. I want to research the Pokemon one at a time before rushing things, ya know."

"Oh, okay, I gotcha." Ash understood Twilight's decision. Indeed, Twilight wasn't super eager to hear or experience rapid-fire discoveries. She prefers her research to have a stable time where she can take everything in and properly keep up with things.

"So anyway, let's try our first Pokemon activity. Any way on how to? I forgot to make a list of what we could do today, so your call."

"How does catching a Pokemon sound?"

"Well, I tried that on the Purugly but..." Twilight pouted. "That didn't work out. I thought you just had to throw the ball and they'd be inside and captured. Maybe another time. I want to stick to just researching them rather than catching them right now.

"There's way more to it. But I'll show you later. How about we head out and research some Pokemon then? There's a bunch you just gotta see."

"Outside? Oh well...I'm a bit nervous. Last time those cat Pokemon and snake Pokemon almost cut my life short. Not sure that it's safe to be out there with the Pokemon. But everyone else looks like they can handle it."

"No need to worry. Pikachu and I will keep you safe." Ash and Pikachu pointed at themselves. "So you don't have to be attacked by anyone. How does that sound?"

"Pika-Pika."

"You're the expert here, so sure." Twilight sat up. "Just nothing too extreme, okay? Just so that Spike doesn't get rattled and everything."

"Roger that." Ash saluted along with Pikachu. He returned his Pokemon as Twilight followed Ash to wherever they would go. Most likely another forest out there.

Out in the forest. Day.

"So there's more than one of these Poke Balls?" Twilight spoke while walking with Ash through a forest. A forest is always the best place to start when searching for Pokemon. There's a guarantee that there will be some.

"Yeah. There's Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Premier Balls, Dusk Balls, Quick Balls a whole bunch!" Ash listed them all while pushing some vines away. "But the real heavy hitter is the Master Ball. It can always catch a Pokemon without fail, no matter what."

"So then...why doesn't everyone just use that kind of Poke Ball then?"

"Master Ball's are super rare, so it's not that easy." Ash chuckled before spotting his first Pokemon. "Ah, that's great!"

"What? What did you see?" Twilight walked beside Ash who had just currently stopped. Twilight soon saw what Ash saw. A group of Whimsicott. Certainly, a good Pokemon to start with. Adorable, beautiful, easily approachable, safe and powerful as well.

"Whim! Whimsicott!" The Windveiled Pokemon started dancing around, drifting on the wind with their light bodies. They were even manipulating the wind too.

"Flying cotton?" Twilight tilted her head.

"Those are Whimsicott. Check it out." Ash took out the Pokedex for her, scanning the Whimsicott.

"Whimsicott. The Windveiled Pokemon. Whimsicott doesn’t live in a fixed location. It floats around on whirling winds, appearing all over the place to perform its mischief by scattering cotton all over the place as a prank. If it gets wet, it’ll become too heavy to move and have no choice but to answer for its mischief. Like the wind, it can slip through any gap, no matter how small. As long as this Pokémon bathes in sunlight, its cotton keeps growing. If too much cotton fluff builds up, Whimsicott tears it off and scatters it."

"A living being of cotton. It's like a sheep or something." Twilight observed as Ash approached the Whimiscott, causing her to gasp. "Hey! Ash! What are you doing?!"

"It's fine," Ash said while standing next to the Grass-Fairy-Types. "Whimsicott are safe. But they can pretty powerful and dangerous when they want to. Right you guys?"

"Whimsicott!" The Whimsicott confirmed that with approving nods. They could sense Ash's aura, knowing that he was pleasant to be around. Twilight saw that it was currently safe without any danger nearby. Plus, she was curious about how a Pokemon felt. Mainly Whimsicott and all that cotton.

Twilight was cautious about approaching them, but Ash encouraged her to give it a go. Having Ash's encouragement affect her, Twilight walked of the acre of trees, approaching the group of Whimsicott.

And once she did, she stood by them, surprised and pleased to see that they weren't attacking at all. After all, these are Fairy-Type Pokemon. Most of the time, they are just naturally kind. But there are some exceptions.

"Cott? Whimsicott." One of the Whimsicott approached Twilight, spinning around her playfully while also using some of its cottons. With a playful attitude, the Whimsicott placed a cotton ball on Twilight's hair, giggling. "Whimsicott!"

"Hey!" Twilight held her hair, taking the cotton off while the Whimsicott backed away, hiding behind its friends and chuckling at its own mischief. "Is playful one of them?"

"Eeyup," Ash said Big Mac's catchphrase with a thumbs up. "Oh hey check this out too. Ready to see some Fairy, or maybe Grass-Type moves?"

"Grass I can understand. But Fairy? Are you talking fairy tales or like, the mythical creature fairy?" Twilight wondered as she kept removing some of the leftover cotton balls. She was curious about what the Fairy-Type was.

"Well, Fairy's a lot like magic. Then again, most Pokemon are kinda magical creatures."

"Magic? I don't know about that..." Twilight pouted while looking to the side. She wasn't really a firm believer in magic. She was a science person rather than a magic person. After all, in her eyes, science explains almost everything. Although it's hard to describe what the Rift counts as. "All of this seems more scientific than magic. Right?"

"Well, you're not wrong. There are some scientific Pokemon out there that aren't magic. But most of them are. Like, a bunch." Ash then held a Whimiscott that flew up to him. "Hey, Whimiscott. Show her what you can do."

"Whimsi...Cott!" With pleasure, Whimiscott used a Pokemon move for Twilight to see. This move was Fairy Wind. By spinning around, the Windveiled Pokemon formed a pink tornado, but in the process, also carrying Ash in it.

"Huh? Hey, wait a minute..." Ash quickly realized that he was still grabbing Whimsicott. And Whimsicott planned this, making its cotton sticky so that Ash couldn't break free so easily. Thus, Ash was being carried and spun around by a pink tornado.

"Ash!"

"PikaPi?!"

"Woah!" Ash cried out as Whimsicott and its fellow Whimsicott giggled. Afterwards, the playful Whimsicott lowered Fairy Wind once it had some good fun. But, after ending Fairy Wind and making the cotton less sticky, Ash had been flung off by the wind pressure, crashing into a tree.

"Oh my goodness!" Ash are you okay?!" Twilight ran up to him. She expected him to be hurt and wincing in pain. But to her surprise, Ash was chuckling along with Pikachu and the Whimsicott. As if nothing bad had happened.

"No need to worry!" He gave his signature grin as Twilight looked at the Whimsicott and Ash, confused as to how they just brushed it off. It looked like it hurt. But Ash has taken worse punishment before. "Pretty neat how the Whimsicott can do that, right?"

"It is neat I guess. Was that really Fairy Magic?"

"Yep. The real deal." Ash stood up, removing some of Whimsicott's cotton off. "There's a bunch more. Guess I should show you Dragonite." He then dug into his pocket, taking out Dragonite's Poke Ball. Twilight was eager to see what a Dragon truly looked like in real life aside from a book or screen.

But it wasn't as massive as she expected. Not something that could tower over skyscrapers. Instead, Dragonite, while still massive compared to humans, ponies and some Pokemon, was playful and innocent looking. At least this Dragonite. There are some exceptions. Twilight recognized this dragon as a cartoon dragon she sees in kid's shows.

"Dragonite!"

"Oh my...An actual dragon..." Twilight backed away, dropping her notepad. The moment she made movements, Dragonite's eyes were locked onto her.

"Dragonite here's a Dragon-Type. They're magic in its purest form." Ash went up to the Dragon Pokemon, patting her in the stomach. Dragonite greatly enjoyed that. "Dragonite. This is this world's Twilight. You know, the one where Sunset lives now?"

"Go...? Dragonite!" Dragonite understood what Ash meant as she now had a new friend within her vicinity. To show her gratitude, Dragonite approached the student with open arms, ready to give her signature warm hug. However, to Twilight, this looked like an attack with how Dragonite was approaching her, wings spread and everything.

"Aaaah!" Twilight screeched, closing her eyes as she was never going to outrun a Dragonite. She braced herself for the worst, but there was no need to worry. Before she knew it, with a massive shadow covering her, Twilight could feel something grabbing her. But not with vigour or aggression. This grab had a gentle and soft feeling.

Actually, it wasn't a grab at all. It was a hug. This world's Twilight was graced with the wonderful and calming hugs of Dragonite. And they were certainly calming. Once she realized what was happening and she looked up at the Dragon Pokemon, Twilight ended up melting in the embrace of Dragonite.

"So warm..." Twilight let out a pleasing smile with her glasses falling off. She felt like she was in paradise. Somehow, Spike had been dragged into the hug as he felt the warmth of it, howling happily.

"No one hugs better than Dragonite. Except maybe Pheromosa," said Ash.

"Pikachu."

"Mmm...Anyway!" Twilight quickly broke up the hug before zooming over, raising her bag. "Now that we're here and haven't been attacked yet...now's a good time to set everything up." Out of her bag, she brought out recording gear. Mainly a large camera and a stand for it. She even had a table ready for all of this. "There. This should be good."

"You're going full force with this research, aren't you?"

"Of course, I am. I always go full force." Twilight set up everything that she had in her bag with the Whimsicott pressing their faces on the camera. "Today, we can sightsee the Pokemon and learn about how they act. Tomorrow and the days after that, it's learning about moves and how they work. Just like before, I can try and use what I've made to interact with the Pokemon."

"What you've made? Like...?" Ash wasn't sure about what inventions Twilight had built. She knew about the Equestrian Twilight's inventions for sure. How little they may be in abundance.

"I made specialized whistle since some Pokemon are apparently like dogs. Any use of this will allow every canine-like Pokemon to respond." Twilight raised up a custom made whistle. "A tracker for the energies the Pokemon exude. They do let out a lot. Like...a lot. Plus, there was that music box that got trashed. So much for that one."

"Music box?" Hearing that brought Ash back a bit with some quick memories. He remembered back when he and his friends found a music box at the Everfree Forest which was causing the Pokemon to act aggressively. Funnily enough, dog whistles were also mentioned during that scenario. "Wait, that was yours?!"

"Pikachu?!"

"Hm? You thrashed my music box?!" Twilight gasped before giving a not-so-pleasant expression to Ash.

"Well no. A Pokemon Battle kinda messed with it." Ash shrugged. "But why'd you place it there? The Pokemon were getting all aggressive from the sound it made."

"I planned that. I wanted to know more about Pokemon in various ways, so I fine-tuned that music box to try and see how they would respond. I couldn't get to any of them at all. All it did was just anger them even though they wouldn't stop listening to it. I didn't mean to aggravate them anyway." Twilight then looked to the ground, feeling guilty for that.

"Pika-Pikachu." Pikachu then patted Twilight on the back, reassuring her that it was alright. Twilight was surprised that the Mouse Pokemon was able to convey emotions and mannerisms like her.

"Wow...You're pretty smart to do that." Twilight gawked.

"Pika-Pika."

"Okay. Let's see what's first. Aside from already knowing what the Whimsicott can do." Twilight held the camera, navigating it to find her new sight. Up ahead, she found her first catch.

Emerging from the lake was a School Form Wishiwashi, bringing a ton of water with it as everyone's attention turned to it. That was Twilight's first looked at a specialized form.

"Look at the size of that fish!" She gazed at the ferocity and scale of the Small Fry Pokemon. "Ash! Record, it quick!"

"Ah, gotcha!" Ash quickly dug into his pocket, pulling out the ultimate Pokemon Encyclopedia, the Pokedex once more.

"Wishiwashi. The Small Fry Pokemon. School Form. Wishiwashi assemble in this formation to face off against strong foes. It boasts a strength that earned it the name 'Demon of the Sea'. At their appearance, even Gyarados will flee. When they team up to use Water Gun, its power exceeds that of Hydro Pump. But if they get wounded in battle, they’ll scatter and become solitary again."

"I see. A School form." Twilight wrote it down after hearing the Pokedex. Wishiwashi then crashed down on the lake, creating a massive splash. "Gathering together forms something like that. Is that the same for all Pokemon?"

"Nah, not all of them. But that's Wishiwashi's ability Schooling. Let's it turn into that."

"Schooling? Abilities? Okay, what can you tell me about that?"

"Every Pokemon's got an ability. Boy, are there a lot. Pikachu here has Static. Any damaging contact with him and there's a chance you'll be paralyzed." Ash patted Pikachu on the head. "Plus, another Pikachu out there could have Lightning Rod as another ability. Some even have ones that are unique to them and all of that."

"Well, I know what we're studying tomorrow." Twilight wrote abilities down as she had something new to look forward to. She was amazed at how much Pokemon had to offer. Moves, abilities, special forms, regional variants, typings and more. There was an abundance and no shortage of them. She then focused her camera on Dragonite, seeing it spend time with the Whimsicott. They started flying around together afterwards while Pikachu dug into Ash's bag for food.

"You know...how about we try something ambitious. Can we try riding on a Pokemon?" Twilight then asked Ash who had his face covered in cotton. Ash removed the cotton once his voice became muffled.

"Sure thing. Dragonite's a good start. Let's head for a fly!" Ash exclaimed before hopping onto the Dragon Pokemon's back. Pikachu lunged onto his partner's shoulder, as always. "Come on, Twilight."

"Pika-Pikachu!"

"Right. I didn't think it would happen actually." Twilight chuckled before walking up to Dragonite. Ash held his hand out to assist her upwards. Thankfully, Dragonite was big enough to hold two humans, possibly even three if she tried. Twilight groaned a bit when being pulled up as she had to adjust herself. This was her first time getting on the back of a dragon of all things. Perhaps not the size she wanted.

"Whim! Whimsicott!" And the Whimsicott were eager to have a flying session with Dragonite as well. Twilight held onto Ash's back, a bit nervous about what this could be. Even though she came up with the idea.

"Okay! Come on, let's fly!" Ash shouted, raising his fist in the air.

"Pikachu!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite let out an excited roar as she was ready to take off. She was building up speed by flapping her wings, ready to give them the fly of a lifetime.

"Let's be a bit careful. I'm kind of afraid of-" Just as Twilight said that, Dragonite started flying through the air at a well-paced speed. "heeeeeeiiights!"

The Dragon Pokemon was now carrying them through the skies with the Whimsicott chasing after them. Twilight started shaking, holding onto Ash tightly for dear life as she closed her eyes. She already knew that Dragonite was high up at this point.

But afterwards, she opened her eyes, seeing how high they were. Obviously, it was pretty high, but something majestic caught Twilight's eye. Being this high up meant that there were clearer views of the azure skies. And flying in these skies were Flying-Type Pokemon of different kinds.

A flock of Pidgeot and Swellow could be seen flying in unison, left to right. The Whimsicott spun around Dragonite as well, leaving behind some cotton in the air. Twilight took a moment to take in this view as the Pidgeot and Swellow got closer to her.

And with this view of the Whimsicott, Pidgeot and Swellow, being so high up wasn't so bad after that. Also showing up in the air, without needing to fly, rather jumping incredibly high was two Jumpluff.

"Jumpluff!" Jumpluff passed by Twilight, leaving behind cotton spores. Those spores caused her to sneeze a small bit along with Pikachu.

"Achoo!"

"Pika...chu!"

Then, Dragonite decided to descend a bit. And by descending, she and everyone were closer to the Pokemon that could only go so high. Mostly levitation and hovering rather than flying. Not only that but they were gifted with the sight of what was below, seeing the full scope of the forest and how the Pokemon had influenced it.

Twilight gawked, seeing the beautiful flowers of the Floette and how they danced with it. Speaking of dancing, she saw the Bellossom dance with the Ludicolo. Three dancers in the same spot with equal enthusiasm, although Ludicolo was bigger, was something to behold.

A smile graced her face as she was seeing just how wonderful these strange creatures can be. The lake wasn't exempt from her view. Dragonite's shadow could slightly be seen in the water as a variety of Water-Type Pokemon emerged, swimming at great speeds. Twilight witnessed how some Pokemon live in groups, big or small and bond together with either family or friends.

The same Wishiwashi could be seen dashing through the lake with a Mudkip and Spheal sitting on it. Despite being called the "Demon of the Sea", they can be friendly Pokemon and allow other Water-Types to sit on top of them. Until their form ends that is.

Twilight kept her gaze at the area around her as she felt something land on her head. A Togetic. It was also flying about and had ended up landing on Twilight's head.

Usually, this is Swablu's role. Twilight looked up to the Happiness Pokemon hold onto her head. Afterwards, Togetic giggled, flying off while spreading some joy dust on Twilight.

"Togetic!"

"This is amazing..." Twilight uttered with disbelief.

"It sure is." Ash nodded after seeing Twilight's enjoyment. Afterwards, Dragonite's flying session would come to an end. She flew back to the spot where Twilight's equipment was. Ash waved goodbye to the Flying-Types along with Pikachu and Twilight.

Dragonite descended, returning to the area after that eventful flight. And Twilight definitely enjoyed it. She hopped off the Dragon Pokemon's back

"That was amazing!" Twilight giggled with excitement. "So much for being afraid of heights, right?! Did you see all of those Pokemon, Ash!" Out of pure rush, she held Ash's shoulders, shaking him and Pikachu. "All of those Pokemon! I've been missing out!"

"Y-Yeah I-I saw!" Ash stuttered while being shaken. Twilight then let go, taking in deep breaths as she had never felt so much enjoyment before.

"Hoh...That was worth it."

"Mhm." Ash nodded before having his stomach growl along with Pikachu's. That meant only one thing. "But we're kinda hungry right now. Got any food?"

"Pikachu."

"No, but...how does the diner sound? I mean, I've never gone there so..." Twilight shrugged.

"Works for us!" Ash laughed with his arms crossed along with Pikachu. They truly were in perfect sync.

"Pikachu!"

The Diner. Afternoon.

"Mmm!" Already, Ash and Pikachu were devouring the food in front of them. Since Ash helped with the diner and Purugly problem yesterday with the other Twilight, he received free food for today. "So good!"

"Pikachu!"

"Do you two have manners?"

"So! Do you wanna keep sightseeing?" Ash asked while drinking some soda.

"That Dragonite flight was perfect sightseeing. That view was just so beautiful." Twilight gushed, thinking about the wonderful view she had seen. "If I'm being honest, that definitely beats out the camera."

"Then let's give it another go. Sound good?"

"Well...sure!" Twilight thought about it before approving. But at that moment, Ash remembered something as he swallowed his food.

"Right! I gotta help Rainbow Dash right now!" Ash stood up. "Sorry, Twilight. But we can continue this next time if that's okay with you."

"Oh, no it's fine. I had a blast today anyway." She flailed her hand. "But thanks for spending time with me Ash. I haven't had this much fun with someone since I was little. It's a great feeling I missed."

"Isn't it? And I'll be back soon. Just give me a few days, okay?" Ash put his fist out for a fist bump. Twilight isn't that fond of fist bumps as she's never done one before. But this would be a first. She could trust Ash with it as at this point, she and Ash had become friends.

"Sure." Twilight gave him a fist bump back. "I'll be waiting."

"Right. Come on, Pikachu!" Ash and Pikachu then rushed out of the diner to get back to Equestria as soon as they could. "See ya soon, Twilight!"

"Pika-Pika!"

"See you, Ash." Now that Ash was gone, Twilight was with Spike only once more. But even still, being around someone she could call a friend was wonderful. After working in a private room for so long and having barely any guests come over to her home, if not at all, having someone do all of that worked out of her. Twilight had a great smile on her face as she looked at a Poke Ball in her hand.

She wondered what else she could look forward to and what Ash has to show. She waits eagerly for his return to truly understand the World of Pokemon as the journey continues.

Chapter 517 End.
