//------------------------------// // FOOD FIGHT! // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// The Pokemon School. Afternoon. "Alright!" Roxie bellowed as she was speaking to her class. The younger ponies of course. Each of them had guitars and various instruments around them that they were assigned to. This looked like it was now a music lesson but yet still related to Pokemon. "After what you all told me about yourselves, I've gone and gotten the best instruments that work for you." "Oooh..." Scootaloo held a guitar that was perfect for her size. Apple Bloom received drums while Sweetie Belle was given a piano. "Neat. My hooves fit it pretty well." Sweetie Belle pressed her hoof onto one of the keys. "Wait. What does this have to do with Pokemon?" A young pony asked. "Easy." Roxie spun her guitar on the floor." There are other ways to battle, ya know? Not just with commands and stuff. But the power of music is a pretty good battling option too. In fact, I remember watching the Canterlot Tournament and there was this one pony who was really feeling the music with her Pokemon. And they did an awesome job!" "You mean DJ-Pon3?" Diamond Tiara asked. "That's the one." Roxie nodded. "She knows what's up. Heck, after school, she even comes over here to jam out with me and my band. Some pretty good times were already made." "So, we're gonna learn how to battle with music?" Sapphire Flash, another young pony originally from Hollow's class asked. "Sure are. You don't have to make it your permanent way of battling. But just in case, you're gonna pick up some neat new skills for the future. Plus, you'll just sound really good. Can any of you here sing?" "Oh! We can!" The CMC, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon raised their hooves. "Just you four? Okay then. Bring out your Pokemon, let's see how they really move." With that order, everypony in this class sent out their Pokemon, quickly filling Roxie's classroom with a mix of ponies, instruments and Pokemon. "Nice. Alright, you guys! Let's see what you can do with those. Your Pokemon better be ready to jam out. One, two and-" Roxanne's classroom. "Know this." Roxanne was teaching the older students as opposed to Roxie teaching the younger ones. "With an ability like Protean or Libero, whatever move you use, your Pokemon will become that type. It changes the Pokemon’s type to the type of move it’s using." "They're both the same thing?" Starlight scratched her mane. "Why not just keep one?" "Ah, that's the thing. The only kinds of Pokemon that can use these abilities are Kecleon, the Greninja Evolution line and the Cinderace Evolution line. You see, for the amphibious and reptile-like Pokemon, they can change their skin, like how Kecleon changes its body colours at will to blend in with its surroundings. It's also why Kecleon can learn so many moves of various types. Greninja fits this since it's also a frog." "And Cinderace?" Fluttershy asked. "Well, over at Galar, soccer, or football as they call it, is very popular among the region. Cinderace the Pokemon most seen playing this sport. While they can't change their skin the same way as a frog or chameleon. So, like a soccer player, they switch their playstyle depending on how the game is going. The ability was named after that soccer position. The Libero. "Oooh..." The ponies gawked as they had just learned about Pokemon soccer which also exists in their world but with a different style. "You should all watch a Galar soccer match one day. Especially with the Cinderace. I'll admit, they are very enjoyable, albeit long and time-consuming." "I'd like to see that!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Are there any tickets?" "You can get them on sale over at Wyndom or Hammerlocke. Or Unova, that works too." "Scorbun!" Speaking of Cinderace, the first stage evolution of it had shown himself. He was hiding behind Fluttershy the entire time. Instead of staying at the Pokemon House under Audino and Krookodile's care, he once again, tagged along with Fluttershy and the others. He already heard everything about Libero and how in the future, he could have an ability like that. "You brought him along?" Rarity pointed her hoof at the Rabbit Pokemon. "He just can't really stay away from me. Guess he likes me a lot. Like Golett to Applejack." Fluttershy giggled. "Yeah. I'm still kinda surprised this guy's around. Hasn't left yet ever since the Pokemon Festival." Applejack looked at the Golett next to her. "Golett!" "Well, Fantina said that it was okay for Golett to be with you. Since you remind it so much of its creator. Maybe you should just catch it." Pinkie suggested. "Think so? Well, if it's okay with the teacher and everything..." "Lett!" "Won't do you any harm," Roxanne replied. "Best to get it over with and catch Golett. I think it would like that too." "Gol!" "Alright, I will. But I don't have a bunch of Poke Balls like ya'll do. Only when Rainbow Dash swaps my apples with them as a prank." "Hehehehe...!" Rainbow Dash cackled. "Now then. Moving on. How about we-" Just before Roxanne could continue with the lesson, the sounds of Roxie and her students travelled through to this classroom. The horrible sounds of many instruments could be heard, playing at the same time with little unity and harmony. It was absolute torture to those who were unfortunate enough to hear it. Roxanne's body winced and twitched by this painful sound passing through her ears. And so did everyone else in the classroom as they were being wrongfully tortured by these sounds. The students immediately started groaning. "Ow-Ow!" Rainbow Dash and other students cried out. "W-What is that infernal sound?!" Rarity plugged her ears. "Urgh...!" Roxanne growled as she shifted her eyes to the right. She knew exactly who was causing this. "Roxie...! You could've at least played a loud and annoying song that sounded decent!" Barely anyone could focus or even sit still with this sound. Roxie's own good-sounding music was being drowned out by the horrible music coming from the foals. Aggravated, Roxanne decided to head towards the classroom herself to put an end to this melodic torture as she slowly approached Roxie's class. And of course, the only reason why it was so prominent to Roxanne's class was that both classrooms were close to each other. Very close. "Roxie!" Roxanne roared as she opened the door with intense force, startling everyone inside. That door opening was actually loud enough to make them all stop. "Hm?" Roxie stopped playing her guitar as she looked over at Roxanne arriving. "Oh, hey, Roxanne! What's up? You hear to listen to the kids jam out?" "Absolutely not." Roxanne held her head. "Could you perhaps calm it down? That noise is disrupting my lesson and frankly...it's abysmal!" "I know!" Roxie grinned with an accepting nod. "You know?!" Roxanne pulled back. "Hah?" The students were surprised that Roxie was so straightforward and essentially agreed that their music was bad in general. "Don't worry. I've been listening to music for so many years that even the bad stuff doesn't phase me." Roxie poked her earlobes. "That's call having true musical prowess, ya know?" "Ah..." Roxanne sighed. "Is there a chance you keep it down then?" "Might be a problem. We've got classrooms really close to each other, don't we? But yeah, we can tone it down without going too crazy." "Thank you..." Roxanne was relieved. "Actually...wasn't this class meant to have soundproof walls when it was built?" "Oh, yeah! That was my idea. They haven't come in yet. My bad!" "Mrrgh..." Roxanne grumbled as the bell of the school suddenly rang, drowning out any other song there was. "Well...at least it's time for a break. I need one." "Alright, you little runts. Head on out and enjoy yourself. We'll jam out later after lunch!" Roxie yelled. "I think I did pretty good with that guitar," Scootaloo said as she and everyone in this classroom were heading out to have something to eat in the canteen. "Was it really that bad?" Sweetie Belle pouted. "No need to worry. Ms Roxie's got a whole class for music lesson's after all." Apple Bloom replied. "Oh. Ash is bringing over some stuff for us to eat that his mom made. I can't wait!" Sweetie Belle squeed, looking forward to lunch more than anyone. "Say, Roxanne." Roxie slid over, putting her hand over Roxanne. "Wanna jam out with me like in the Pokemon festival?" "Now? I'm fairly hungry and need some time to relax. Besides, get Brawly or Vinyl Scratch to help you with that." "Ah, but your guitar skills are pretty sick. I could use a guitar partner in some of my jams one day, ya know? Just think of how great it would be! We'd be going big and rocking out or the whole world, ya know?" "The whole world?" "Mhm! We'll be famous! Like those big-name music groups. Whaddya say?" "Well...We're good friends Roxie. I'm surprised at how fast we became friends due to us being from completely different regions. But, I'll sadly have to decline. Heavy fame and rocking or jamming out just isn't for me." "I gotcha." Roxie understood Roxanne's decision. "But. If it helps, I can come by and play music with you from time to time after school. Or even when there isn't any school?" "Yeah!" Roxie pumped her fists up. "That'd be awesome! We should totally get a nickname for the two of us. How does Team Rox sound? We both have Rox in our names and it sounds like rock and-" "Eh...Perhaps work on that on your own in the meanwhile why don't you? I'm starving..." Roxanne held her stomach. "Oh. Haha!" Roxie laughed. "My bad." Canteen. The time to take a break and fill those growling and empty stomachs. Human, pony and Pokemon. And the food was being served by some well-skilled chefs from across different regions. Ash had stopped by quickly to give his friends some food that Delia offered. Came all the way here just for it. And of course, to have some small chat with his friends before lessons continue. "Here it is." Ash placed a comically large lunch box down that had a huge assortment of various foods inside of them. "Pinkie helped mom make this so enjoy." "Sure did!" Pinkie Pie nodded. "I've been helping out Mrs Ketchum a lot recently. Her cooking skills are just mwah! Pinkie did a chef's kiss. "You could give somepony a real stomachache with all of this." Applejack observed the food. "Not that I'm complaining." "Uh-huh..." Twilight nodded while gazing at the hayburgers with a lazy face. "Let's eat!" Without wasting any time, they all went for their favourite foods. "You know, before this whole Pokemon School showed up, we already learned a ton of stuff, didn't we?" Rainbow Dash said while snacking down at high speeds. "Roxanne even said that we've learned so much we might even level up and go to higher classes, ya know!" "We already are." Applejack replied. "We got Fantina as one of our teachers, don't we? Ain't she the fifth Gym Leader in her region, Sinnoh?" "There's still more that we have yet to learn about Pokemon." Rarity said, feeding her Pokemon. "The world of it is as extensive as the Pokemon themselves. We probably haven't even scratched the surface." "Well, I think we can go even further. I'm a Pokemon Trainer and shooting for number one at the Equestria League. I bet I can be taught by the top teachers like Drayden or Volkner." "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Rainbow." Twilight chomped down on a hayburger. "Maybe dial it down a bit before heading for the big ones." "Yeah, I guess you're right." Rainbow Dash slumped on the seat, continuing to eat her food while feeding Castform and the rest of her Pokemon. While Twilight's group continue talking about whatever it is they can, another group were having their own discussion. More specifically, the students who are in Hollow's class. Even before the Pokemon School was made. Consisting of ponies like Sunrise Sprint, Sapphire Flash and Dew Drop. "Ah...When am I gonna get a Mega Evolved Pokemon?" Sunrise sighed. "It'd be so cool for my partner." "I don't think your Gurdurr can Mega Evolve," Sapphire responded. "Which blows!" Sunrise groaned. "Why can't every Pokemon Mega Evolve? That'd be so neat! Some Pokemon are so lucky to even have one. Like Lucario and Gardevoir. They were already strong enough." "Hah. It would be nice for all of them to have Mega Evolution, wouldn't they? A shame many of the weaker Pokemon don't have it. What do you think, Dew Drop?" "Um. I don't mind if they have Mega Evolution or not. I like them the way they are." Dew Drop timidly said. "But...Mega Evolution is a bit scary." "Like awesome scary?" Sunrise sat up. "Mm-mm." Dew shook her head, thinking of a different kind of scary. "Ah, well they're still pretty cool. I mean, if a bunch of trainers can master Mega Evolution with Pokemon that get seriously hurt during it, then I can do it too!" Sunrise bellowed as he lifted a pie. "I bet I could have a bunch of Mega Evolved Pokemon on my team! That way, I'll be number one!" Full of adrenaline, the colt unicorn started flailing his hoof, acting like he was the biggest one in the room. He was certainly the loudest, that's for sure. His flailing was so erratic and frantic that the pie he had on his hoof was launched, flying out of his possession. "Oh." Sunrise looked at the flying pie. From how hard he flailed his hoof, the pie moved at a velocity equal to that of a slingshot firing a pebble. A random filly was just minding her own business, enjoying her food like everyone else here. So far, everything felt peaceful for all. But it wouldn't be peaceful for long. The pie ended up hitting the young filly square in the face, right before she was about to finish her food. "Ough!" She cried out as her body almost fell off the table. "Eugh!" Sunrise winced but he was also impressed by how accurate and precise his aim was. Even if it was unintentional. "Oh, pretty nice hit though." "Mrrrrgh...!" The filly that had just been struck growled as the pie slowly slid down her face with all the cherry trailing down with it. She already knew the direction of where the pie came from and who exactly threw it. Her eyes instantly locked onto the Sunrise who was within her sights. The young unicorn gulped as he knew he had been caught instantly. Sunrise gave out a small shrug to show that it was an accident. But he couldn't help but laugh. Not too pleased with that, the easily irritated and hot-headed filly decided to get some payback towards Daylight by grabbing her own food. With a menacing grimace and terrible smile, she raised her hoof, ready to launch the piece of cake like a missile. "Uh oh!" Sunrise yelped as he knew what was coming. The filly threw the cake at high speeds, also having a seemingly accurate and precise aim like Sunrise. But unlike the filly, Sunrise could actually see it coming. So he decided to duck before the cake could even hit him. And him ducking only sparked something hyperactive as the cake hit another pony in the face which made the irritated filly yelp too. Some ponies had noticed how some food had been flung across the room. Two of them. From Sunrise and the filly from far across the table. Mainly, the younger ponies had witnessed this. The older ones hadn't yet. However, with the younger ponies spotting this exchange of delicacies, their little minds and heart were all collectively deciding on one thing to do. Something that involves chaos so ridiculous that Discord would enjoy this. And speaking which, the moment the two foods had been thrown by Daylight and the filly, Discord appeared, disguised as the garbage can in the canteen. If there's one thing Discord knows is that there is one form of chaos that can be caused by anyone and is always a delight to witness. In his eyes, this is the greatest form of chaos due to how absurd and petty it is. Plus, everyone has a good time in the end. "It's been a while since I've seen one of these." Discord said as his mouth was the flap of the garbage can. "The most riveting form of chaos that I don't even have to start. And here they come...the words I love to hear..." "FOOD FIGHT!" A little colt bellowed as he had declared a food fight to begin. And with that, an outbreak, or rather a battle had ensued. The little ones went first by immediately grabbing their lunch and throwing them across the canteen with no hesitation, initiating the food fight. Left and right, ponies were being struck in the face by numerous delectables they were planning to eat today. But it looked like they wouldn't finish. And following their trainer, the Pokemon they owned had also joined in. Anyone that strikes their trainers must be taken out immediately. So now the Pokemon were involved. But they had a different way of approaching a food fight. While some of them did have the necessary limbs to throw food, others had different methods. AKA, using Pokemon moves to fire the food. Twilight and the other older individuals witnessed this sudden battle of baked and cooked goods occurring during a peaceful time. Well, it wasn't peaceful anymore. "What the?! What is going on!?" Twilight had actually never seen a food fight before in her entire life due to where she had studied for so long. But she knew what it was. "Is this a-" "Food fight! Awesome!" Ash stood up. "Pikachu!" Even Pikachu was drawn to this. "Awesome?!" Twilight pulled back. "Oh, yeah! I missed this!" Rainbow Dash had actually been in one before back when she was young. "This school really is the best!" "Food fight?" Fluttershy looked around, seeing food flying everywhere. "Oh my. It looks so messy. But fun too." "Scorbun." "Well, it's usually for the young ones." Rarity took a sip of her drink. "Let them have their fun. They're not bothering any-" Unfortunately for Rarity, food fights are not limited to children. As shown when a large batch of grapes hit the unicorn square in the face. Right when she was enjoying her drink. Ash and the others gasped after seeing their friend getting struck by a grape. As the grapes fell off Rarity's face with purple liquids covering her eye, the Beedrill nest had been poked. And it wasn't just Rarity. Other older students had been struck by flying food as well. It was practically unavoidable due to how many foals outnumber the stallions and mares. Plus, there was just too much food to even try and evade. "Until they do bother somepony!" Rarity snarled as she stood up, using her magic to pick up a salad. "Right back at you!" Now the older students were involved with the chaos as Rarity launched the salad, knocking a colt out in one shot. "That's more like it Rarity!" Rainbow Dash picked up some food as she started throwing like there was no tomorrow. Now all groups were involved in the food fight. "Wagh!" Twilight ducked an incoming watermelon, just barely avoiding it as it splattered on the wall. Someone's Octillery had been given multiple breadsticks and peas. It held the breadsticks with its tentacles while placing the peas in its turret-like mouth. And like a turret, the Jet Pokemon started shooting peas out rapidly as if they were ammunition. With an exceptional aim, Octillery struck many targets with the rapid-fire peas without little effort. That mouth exists for a reason. And Octillery was really living up to its name as it then swung the breadsticks around, whacking any nearby Pokemon and ponies off their feet or away. "Okay!" Ash and his Pokemon had lined up along with Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie since they wanted to relieve something as nostalgic as this. They'd be crazy not to do so. "Let's see if I've still got it. Lucario! Grab that breadstick! Pikachu, guys! You know what to do!" "Pikachu!" Pikachu and the others were already aware of how to approach this as Gengar hid in the shadows while the rest of Ash's Pokemon scattered. Twilight, Fluttershy and Starlight hid underneath a table that had just fallen over from this ferocious food fight. While they hid, their friends Ash, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and even Rarity were partaking in this. "Should we join in?" Fluttershy asked. "Are you crazy?!" Twilight exclaimed. "It's a warzone over there! I'm not prepared for a food fight! I don't even know what the proper rules are and-" "It's a food fight. I don't think there are any rules except don't lose." Starlight replied. "Bunny! Scorbunny!" Scorbunny really wanted to join in as he hopped up and down. "Scorbunny looks like he would enjoy it. And I want to see what it's really like as well." Fluttershy got up. "Alright, Scorbunny. Let's do our best." "Scorbun!" "Luca!" Lucario grabbed one of Octillery's breadsticks, whacking the Jet Pokemon with it and sending it flying away. After taking one opponent down, Lucario's Aura sensed an incoming opponent from behind. A Vigoroth holding blocks of cheese as a weapon for its hands. "Vigoroth!" The Wild Monkey Pokemon began swinging the cheese blocks around rapidly at the Aura Pokemon. It is a Pokemon that is used to grabbing things and using them as a weapon. But Lucario is no slouch when it comes to that either. While most skilled at using his own body to battle, he can most certainly use items, no problem. But perhaps not on the same level as Vigoroth as he was now clashing his breadstick with the cheese locks as if it was a sword duel. Applejack used her lasso to grab nearby bottles of sauces that were noticeably very spicy. After gaining possession of them, Applejack, smashed her hooves onto the bottles, shooting out various hot sauces towards her targets while also getting some on the floor. For slipping purposes, of course. Those that were hit by the sauces ended up taking some spicy damage to the face and body. The heat was mild and medium at best so it wasn't anything too serious. But it still stung as the struck targets started screaming and running around from the heat. Rarity had one of her Leavanny use String Shot to grab a pineapple, swinging it around as if it was a mace. The pineapple mace had whacked its opponents with unrelenting forcing. Braviary, Dragonite and other airborne Pokemon along with the pegasi attacked from above. Braviary used its talons to grab some bags of flour, dropping them down like bombs as the flour exploded upon ground contact, causing a white and powdery explosion that covered the surrounding area. "Pikachu! Iron Tail!" Ash used a tray as a shield to block projectiles, covering the tray with stains while Pikachu cut some incoming baguettes in half with Iron Tail. "Pachi!" Scootaloo's Pachirisu used its tail to hold cans of soda, squeezing them tight as it shot out the fizzy liquids, bombarding the targets in front of the EleSquirrel Pokemon. "Scyther!" A Scyther used its sharp scythes to cut up some carrots at hyperactive speeds, making tiny bits of them. But it was working alongside a partner. That partner was a Scrafty which headbutted the bits of carrot with such force that they were capable of breaking through tables and knocking someone down. "Uh oh!" Twilight was within the line of fire of the carrots as she was about to be hit. But, Eve got in the way by using Psychic to grab the carrots. "Espeon!" The Sun Pokemon then raised the carrots into the air, knowing that she couldn't fire them back with the same amount of force. But she knew a fellow friend who could. "Far!" Ash's Farfetch'd jumped over Eve as he used Night Slash to hit each of the carrots, sending them back at Scyther and Scrafty, bombarding them to their doom. "Fetch'd?" Farfetch'd then used its leek, which counted as a food object to block some incoming glazed donuts. Some ponies had actually put together some food weapons by grabbing whatever they could and using their quick-thinking brains. There was a hammer that had a large potato as the base, a bazooka that shoots out macadamia peanuts, the hardest kind of peanuts, a paprika cannon and other odd devices. And of course, the pony to build these were Twilight and to an extent Pinkie Pie who gave her the idea. "Okay. This should work out for us." "Will it?" Starlight gulped. "It should." Twilight placed the paprika cannon on a table to support it. With Ninetales activating the device, streams of paprika started flying out as they were raining down from above instead of heading forward. Pokemon and pegasi in the air had been hit by the paprika, feeling the spices as they were knocked out of the sky, falling to their doom. "Gengar!" Gengar appeared behind victims, slamming hayburgers onto them and taking them out before phasing into the shadows once more. "Scorbun!" Scorbunny started using its legs to kick some peanuts rapidly. It wasn't just him. The other two that were great at kicking and using their legs, Pheromosa and Lopunny had joined in. By far, Pheromosa was kicking faster than both of them. "How did it come to this?!" Roxanne was actually in the midst of this as she was ducking for cover. Alongside her was Brawly who was enjoying this. "Ah, it's natural," Brawly replied. "Food fights are kinda inevitable. You're gonna have one eventually. I say we jump in!" "Jump in?!" "Go! Machamp!" Brawly sent out possibly the biggest threat in this entire Food Fight. The Four-Armed Superpower Pokemon Machamp. "Machamp!" "Alright, Machamp!" Brawly hopped onto Machamp's back. "Take them all out!" "Champ!" Machamp put all four of his fists through four watermelons. Now he had watermelon fists. While not as strong as his actual fists, they can leave a mark for sure. "That can't be good." Applejack, who had a pony tied up, noticed the Machamp that had just joined the food fight. And so did everyone else. They knew that this could get ugly fast. "Machamp!" Machamp instantly moved at breakneck speeds, appearing in front of a trainer and their Exeggutor, smashing two watermelons onto them. The trainer and her Exeggutor had been launched through many tables before crashing into other ponies and Pokemon like bowling balls. A full strike. Everyone collectively gulped as Machamp started going on a rampage, taking out as many ponies and Pokemon as he could with his melon hands. No one was fast enough to counter Machamp, unfortunately. A Heliolisk tried to slip Machamp by using its tail to toss a plethora of condiments. But, Machamp easily dealt with that by jumping onto large blocks of cheese, stomping his feet onto them and using the blocks as skates. The Superpower Pokemon was now skating on ketchup, mustard, tartar sauce and mayo. Improvisation matters greatly in a fight like this. "Champ!" While skating on the condiments, Machamp them uppercut Heliolisk while also gaining extra speed because of all the skating. Gengar tried approaching Machamp by sneaking up from behind, but the Fighting-Type spun his arms around, hitting Gengar in the face with some melons. "Gar!" Gengar hid back in the shadows as some Pokemon banded together, making a wall of sandwiches and lunchboxes while hiding behind them. The lunchboxes had some extra girth considering what material they were made of. But that didn't matter to the Superpower Pokemon. Machamp didn't even need to use his arms for this. His body was enough. With no care, Machamp barged through the wall of sandwiches and lunch boxes, blowing the ponies and Pokemon that hid behind it, causing them to scream. "Pah! We can match that with no issue. Go Pheromosa!" Rarity ordered. "Mosa!" Pheromosa quickly put her feet through two pineapples, matching Machamp's current look. Scorbunny helped out by jumping onto Pheromosa's head, acting as support as he held a chain of apples as a weapon. "Scorbun!" The Lissome Pokemon approached Machamp at lightning speeds, kicking her pineapple-clad feet towards the Superpower Pokemon. "Champ!" But, Machamp was able to react in time as his watermelon-clad hands clashed with Pheromosa's pineapple feet, creating a small shockwave. "Bunny!" While both Fighting-Type were in a deadlock with their fruit limbs, the Bunny Pokemon swung his Apple-chain around, trying to hit Machamp in the face. Unfortunately, one of the many reasons why Machamp's four arms were so useful came into play. While one arm deals with Pheromosa, the other deals with the apple chain. With sheer power, Machamp forced two of his fingers through the watermelon, making them poke out. He then used those two fingers to grab the Apple chain like scissors. "Scorbun?" "Champ!" Machamp then crushed the apples with just the force of his fingers as if they were nothing. He then used one of his other melon arms to sock Pheromosa in the face, knocking her back as Scorbunny fell off the Lissome Pokemon's head. "Phero!" "Scor!" Scorbunny flailed around while falling as Machamp was about to deliver a swift melon strike to the Rabbit Pokemon. "Leavan!" But, Leavanny had saved him by quickly using String Shot to pull Scorbunny away. Just barely escaping Machamp's strike. "Macha-cha-cha-champ!" Machamp and Brawy chuckled as he jumped into the air, landing on a tower of tables and declaring himself the strongest food fighter in the room as everyone looked up at him. "Someone's confident." Pinkie Pie narrowed her eyes while preparing the banana bazooka. "Eat this!" She rapidly shot out bananas from the bazooka, sending them towards the Superpower Pokemon. "Champ! Machamp!" But. Machamp easily kept up with the bananas by rapidly striking his four arms. There's a reason why a Machamp can deliver 1,000 punches in a few seconds. The bananas had either been crushed or were sent flying back to other ponies and Pokemon, knocking them out. "Those four arms are a problem." Twilight observed. "And how are those melons still intact?!" "Won't be a problem for long!" Rainbow Dash took the skies as she held a huge box of salad, ready to lob it at the Superpower Pokemon. Other Pokemon who could fly quickly took the skies, holding food as well. "Champ!" But, Machamp quickly clapped all four of his melon hands together, blowing everyone away along with more tables and food. Everyone in the canteen had been sent back. Not a single one was unaffected. "We need to restrain him! Eve! Psychic!" "Espeon!" Eve's eyes quickly flashed blue, surrounding the Superpower Pokemon in a blue light, holding him and Brawly in place. "Machamp?!" Now that Machamp was restrained, everyone who could get up quickly enough decided to take this chance to attack Machamp by rapidly throwing food at him. "I don't think so!" Brawly suddenly held his mouth out, causing the food to fly into his mouth instead of Machamp. Humans from the Pokemon World have a huge appetite. There's nothing they can't devour. And Brawly is one of those many examples as he had eaten all the food thrown at his partner. "Mmm! Machamp! Bulk Up!" "Machamp!" Machamp suddenly flexed his muscles, causing a body shockwave so great that it broke Eve's Psychic hold. "Eon!" "Let's finish this! Focus Punch!" "Champ!" Machamp jumped from the ground, as the melons were each lighting up, showing that all the Focus Punch energy was brimming within it. Everyone gulped as Machamp struck the ground, causing energy to come out of the watermelons. Soon, the entire canteen had been engulfed in Fighting energy as many victims had been caught in the energy shockwave of Focus Punch. "Now's our chance! Go!" Ash saw an opportunity as he put his tray shield to protect him and the others from Focus Punch. Gengar was able to easily ignore Focus Punch due to its Ghost-Typing as it moved in, holding up many bottles of sauces with Psychic. Leavanny shot its string out, wrapping around Machamp's arm and temporarily restraining him. Pikachu ran on Leavanny's string, approaching Machamp with Quick Attack. "Machamp?!" "Chu-Pika!" Pikachu then used Iron Tail to destroy Machamp's melon arms, getting rid of his weapons. Machamp then quickly responded by pulling his arm forward, which also pulled Leavanny who was still using String Shot. "Vanny?!" "Machamp then grabbed Pikachu by the tail, tossing them both into the air while also shooting the remains of the watermelons towards them. "PIka?!" "Lea?!" "Mew!" Mew saved them by using Psychic while also hiding behind Pinkie. Speaking of Pinkie, she and everyone started firing food at Machamp now that he had no food weapon. But who said he needed weapons? Machamp used all four of his arms to rapidly destroy, send back and block every food that came his way. "Luca! "Far!" Lucario and Farfetch'd both approached Machamp with their breadstick and leek, striking it towards their fellow Fighting-Type. Machamp put both his arms up, blocking the large leek and breadstick. "Champ! Ma?" Machamp then looked up, seeing an incoming Braviary with hot sauce, squeezing the bottle and sending hot sauce to the Superpower Pokemon's face. "Viary!" "I got it!" Brawly quickly came to the rescue by opening his mouth and catching the hot sauce, saving Machamp yet again. But, when catching the hour sauce, Brawly quickly felt the heat kicking up as his face turned red. "H-H-H-H-H-Hot!" He was so perplexed by the heat that he jumped off Machamp's back. Now Machamp had no one to support him against sneak attacks. "Now!" Twilight saw an opening since Machamp was occupied with Lucario and Farfetch'd. Eve, Gengar, Mew and Starlight's Hatterene all collectively used Psychic, holding up a plethora of hayburgers. They shot the hayburgers forward while Lucario and Farfetch'd move away. "Ma?!" Machamp gasped as the many hayburgers were coming his way. He was about to counter them but Minccy came in, jumping on Machamp's back as she used her tail to tickle the Superpower Pokemon. "Cinccino!" "Ma-Ma-Ma-Cha-cha-cha!" Machamp laughed from the tickle as he had been thrown off guard. And with his guard down, all the hayburgers had struck him. Full body and everything. "Iron Tail, Pikachu!" "Chu...!" Pikachu quickly recovered in the air as he hardened his tail to match iron. The Electric Mouse Pokemon then stuck his tail into a breadstick, using it as a substitute for a weapon. "Ccino!"Minccy then hopped off Machamp's back, allowing Pikachu to finish the job. " "C-Champ?" Machamp then held its back before noticing Pikachu right in front of him. "Pika!" With a mighty swing of his tail and breadsticks, Pikachu smashed his Iron Breadstick onto Machamp's head with unbridled force. One hit and Machamp was forced down on the ground with so much power that it shook the canteen, creating an even larger shockwave than before as everyone inside had been caught in the midst of this potent shockwave. Smoke filled the canteen as the Pokemon School itself trembled from Pikachu's impact. It could even be seen from afar with the windows shattering in the process. The dust, smoke and condiments had settled. It was all over now. The canteen was a mess now. Various foods were all over the place, leaving massive stains that James and Meowth would have to clean up due to them being janitors here. Tables had either been knocked over or destroyed. Everyone was on the ground, dazed and befuddled. But the only one not on the ground was Pikachu, who stood tall over Machamp and as the victor of this entire food fight. "Pika-Pika-Pika-Pika!" Pikachu laughed as everyone sighed at their defeat. But, once the battle had ended, two individuals, very important individuals, had shown up at the canteen. And one of them was Cynthia. "Trust me Chancellor Neighsay," Cynthia spoke to the head of the Equestrian Education Association, or EEA for short. One who oversees all schools in Equestria. "Our school knows how to be productive and just have fun through it all." After saying that, Cynthia opened the door, showing the chancellor to the canteen. And once she did, they both witnessed the utter mess and destruction that had graced the entire place. "Uh..." Twilight's head turned to face Cynthia as she had an innocent smile on her face. "H-Hello Prinicipal Cynthia." "Oh my. Did you all have a food fight?" Cynthia asked. "Sure did!" Ash sat up with a thumbs up. "Pikachu!" "Hm." Chancellor Neighsay nodded. "Food fight, you say? ...I miss those..." He sighed, feeling some nostalgia from the past after seeing this. "Alright. Seems like you have everything under control here. If all three species can get along so well and have fun via a food fight then it's approved by the EEA." "Yes...!" Cynthia silently said as she pumped her fist. "But you're all cleaning this up. To help those poor janitors." "Yes, Principal Cynthia..." Everyone sighed as they knew what they were getting themselves into. But, it was inevitable really. "We should do that again tomorrow!" Pinkie Pie's head popped out of a large rubble of eclairs. Discord had seen everything. It was truly a satisfying experience. A kind of chaos that was simple and effective to sit through. He could leave knowing his day had just been improved. As the journey continues. Chapter 406 End.
