Equestria. Canterlot. Equestria League Stadium. Afternoon.

Ash and Gold's exhibition match continues. With Ash managing to faint one of Gold's Pokemon, Togekiss, he was currently in the lead. Right now, it was Ash's Dracovish against Gold's Gyarados.

"Dracovish!" Dracovish had used Fishious Rend on Gyarados' Dark Pulse, biting onto the attack. It was the best way it could think of getting past Dark Pulse since Gold and Gyarados made the conscious decision to stay away from Dracovish and its powerful fangs.

"It bit through it?!" Gold had witnessed the true power of Dracovish's fangs for the first time. And it was terrifying as Dracovish had then lunged towards Gyarados with Fishious Rend. It bit down on the top of Gyarados head with even greater force than the previous bite it had delivered with Ice Fang.

"G-Gyara!" While not super-effective, the impact was still enough to make Gyarados stagger. Gyarados fell on its back from just one bite of Fishious Rend, showcasing just how dangerous this attack can be the moment it comes into contact with something.

"Keep it up! Use Ice Fang!"

"Vish!" Dracovish continued to advance on Gyarados, making sure to always keep close to it.

"I don't think so! Gyarados, ascend!"

"Grab a ride, Dracovish!"

"G-Gyarados!" Gyarados utilized its advantage as being part Flying-Type, quickly ascending to the skies, only for Dracovish to grab onto its tail. Even after the speed increase with Dragon Dance, Dracovish could still keep up. Those legs were not to be underestimated.

Gyarados ascended with Dracovish being dragged along. The Atrocious Pokemon's eyes widened after seeing the Fossil Pokemon bite onto its tail, which not only threw it off guard but also harmed it. Ice Fang's chill ran through Gyarados' body before then starting to freeze its tail.

"Aqua Tail!"

But Gyarados could not pull it off. Not with its tail frozen and very soon the rest of its body thanks to Ice Fang. Gyarados had been frozen over completely by Dracovish, unable to keep its aerial momentum. Gyarados came crashing down with a frozen body as Dracovish had let go. The Fossil Pokemon managed to successfully land on its feet whilst Gyarados crashed into the ground.

The only benefit was that the ice was broken from the hard impact on the ground. Gyarados grunted once the ice was broken as coupled with Ice Fang, it took some heavy hits. "Gyara." The Water-Flying-Type got up, shaking its head to recover itself.

"Feeling good, Gyarados?" Gold asked

"Gyarados." Gyarados certainly was still in shape to continue. But those jaws of Dracovish were certainly a threat.

"Return, for now. Just wait for a bit." Gold chose to recall Gyarados, changing up his approach. "That Dracovish and its jaws are a problem. It can catch up so quickly even with a speed increase. I need to do something else. Someone to shake things up...

"Ash is in the lead! You love to see it!" Spike laughed.

"Yeah, but look. Gold has something planned." Twilight pointed out.

Gold had another Pokemon in store that he was aiming to turn the tides. Gold was mainly thinking about Dracovish in this instance and the speed that it could keep up with. The right Pokemon was selected for this as the next Poke Ball was out with a wide grin on his face.

"Let's go! Espeon!" Espeon was his next choice, sending the Sun Pokemon into the fray.

"Espeon!" Espeon. Certainly a fast Pokemon. Twilight should know as she had an Espeon of her own. But also one that was a threat to most of Ash's Pokemon. But then again, Togekiss had been defeated first before any of the others.

"Espeon? Ah, that's fine! Ash knows how to handle Espeon!" Apple Bloom commented. "He already beat Togekiss too!"

"Not even Espeon is the same, sugarcube." Applejack shook her head, knowing that this Espeon could still prove to be a threat even if Ash had proper solutions to major obstacles.

"You're right about that." Brendan chimed in. "Out of all of his Pokemon, Gold's Espeon's the one that allows other Pokemon to have an easier time while also making it a hard time for its opponents. Red should know. Even just Espeon alone gave him trouble."

"..." Red closed his eyes as he knew this to be true. Gold's Espeon can prove to be a problem in various ways. But he reopened them to continue watching. In the corner of all of this, Sombra kept observing Ash as his interest was only growing even further with this Pokemon Battle. He was starting to see the mass appeal of it.

"But the question is...will he do it for Ash?" Brendan wondered.

"This is a thrilling battle, isn't it?" Celestia asked Luna and Chrysalis. "Seeing all of this play out makes me want to indulge in a full-on Pokemon Battle one day. If I have the right number of Pokemon, that is."

"Mmm. Ash is as strong as I expected, but this Gold Trainer is just as impressive even if he doesn't have the lead." Chrysalis replied whilst holding Anthophilia.

"Trainers from other worlds parallel to even the one Ash comes from should be expected to be this formidable. It's almost terrifying isn't it?" Luna commented.

"We'll match your speed with some more crazy speed! Espeon, Calm Mind!"

"Esp!" Espeon closed its eyes before surrounding itself in a radiant purple aura that made Ash and Dracovish squint. It focused intensively with a calm disposition that allowed its purple aura to expand and flash brighter. Just like that, Espeon's Special Attack and Special Defence had been raised.

"Calm Mind, huh? Yeah, that could be an issue for us." Ash knew very well how lethal Calm Mind on a Psychic-Type could be in various ways. "Let's focus on getting physical then! Fishious Rend!"

"Dracovish!" Knowing that only its Special Defence had been raised, Dracovish approached Espeon with only physical strength which is exactly what it excelled at. Its fangs lit up blue as one good bite could put Espeon in a bad spot.

"Espeon, use Stored Power!"

"Esp...Eon!" To counter this, Espeon stood on the spot. It did not move to dodge but instead, it would face Dracovish head-on. From its body, a burst of Psychic energy emerged that was wide enough to encompass most of the arena in the form of a radius-wide barrage of spheres

"Jump, Dracovish!"

"Dracovish!" Dracovish had leapt over the orbs, successfully dodging them.

"Eon!" However, Espeon could control the orbs even when fired. It manipulated the Psychic orbs, immediately sending them right at Dracovish while it wasn't looking.

"Huh!? Dracovish, behind you!"

"Draco?" Too late for that as Dracovish had been hit in the back by Stored Power, resulting in a Psychic combustion. One hit to the back from those orbs that had the power of concentrated focus was a dangerous one. Dracovish fell to the ground face-first with purple smoke steaming from its back.

The power behind that sneak attack Stored Power was an impressive one. Strong enough to not only knock Dracovish down but also make it faint. Dracovish was out.

"Dracovish..."

"Dracovish is unable to battle! Espeon wins!" That was one of Ash's Pokemon down at last. His Dracovish was the first to go.

"Phew! That felt close!" Gold wiped some sweat off his forehead. "Those jaws were something else. Thanks for the help, Espeon."

"Esp."

"Thanks, Dracovish. You did great." Ash returned the Fossil Pokemon, thanking it for a great battle. It may have fainted but it had certainly played its part.

"Aww...." The Cutie Mark Crusaders sighed from that defeat.

"Great effort from Dracovish," said Rarity. "I'd say that if Fishious Rend did connect, Espeon would've ended up in the same situation as Dracovish. Just a hunch though."

"How many minutes has it been? All this back and forth makes it feel like it's been maybe 15 minutes." Fluttershy asked as this battle between equally skilled trainers was so well-placed that it felt long rather long.

"Surprisingly, it's been 9 minutes, my little pony," Olympia replied. "But when two trainers of equal strength go against each other, time becomes a lost concept for many."

"Yeah. So we'd better get comfortable." Brawly adjusted himself on the seat before drinking some energy juice, knowing that even with two Pokemon from each side down, it was not ending any time soon.

"Come on, you two! Show us something bigger!" Roxie roared, visibly getting into this. She even felt the need to play her guitar, holding it and standing up, ready to unleash some sound that would overpower everything else. "Maybe some music will make it all the more exciting."

"No, we don't need you distracting everyone from this battle, Roxie." Roxanne halted Roxie from playing the guitar for the sake of everyone's attention and ears.

"Alright. It's your turn, Gengar! I choose you!" Ash already had his next Pokemon in mind. Gengar came into the fray.

"Gengar!"

"Gengar, huh?" Gold pondered. "That's a 50/50 right there. But we'll increase our chances. And it starts with this! Use Calm Mind!"

"Espeon!" Once again, Espeon had boosted its Special Attack and Special Defence with that same purple aura emerging. This also meant that Stored Power was only getting stronger which would prove to be a problem for Gengar being that he was part Poison.

"Let's do this, Gengar! Ice Punch!"

"Gen...Gar!" Right now, Ash was sticking to a Physical approach for the time being as Gengar summoned an icy blue aura around its arms, zooming towards Espeon.

"Here it comes! Stored Power!"

"Eon!" Stored Power was used once more with greater strength than before as the multiple orbs surrounding Espeon's body had been unleashed. But this time, Ash knew of Espeon's ability to control where they move.

"Avoid the orbs and close in on, Espeon!"

"Gengar!" Gengar zigzagged around as the orbs were pursuing him. The Shadow Pokemon performed every manoeuvre he could thanks to his agile and spectral body. He flew over the first batch of orbs before then ducking the next. A trail of Psychic orbs were sent to his back, causing the Ghost-Poison-Type to zoom to the side. "Gen!"

"Keep it up, Espeon!"

"Espeon!" Espeon continued to move the orbs, relentlessly targeting Gengar as it chose not to let the Shadow Pokemon breathe for a second. Then again, Gengar was a Ghost so what breathing was there to stop?

"Gen! Gen!" However, Gengar was starting to feel the pressure. As he kept dodging the attacks, Espeon was making it worse for him, sending them in unpredictable positions. Ash narrowed his eyes, seeing how these orbs were now moving erratically, making it harder for the Shadow Pokemon.

"Hit them away!"

"Gar!" Gengar used Ice Punch on the orbs, knocking them away each time they would approach. He was doing this successfully but with each passing second, Espeon was only changing up the way it moved the orbs. However, the more orbs he hit, the more he was starting to feel some pushback.

The next one he knocked away ended up causing some rebound on Gengar, forcing him back. As he was forced back, he turned to see another Psychic orb coming his way, causing him to swivel and knock that one away too. "Gengar...!" Gengar was starting to feel the pressure.

"I've never seen Stored Power be used in such a way before!" Even Olympia was surprised. "Maybe I should be taking some advice from this."

"Gengar's starting to lose space. He's not even getting any closer to Espeon! If anything, he's getting further!" Goh was right as all of this dodging was forcing Gengar away from Espeon.

"Gold knows that Espeon's fragile up close so he's having Espeon do what it can to keep Gengar at bay. And that Stored Power is like a freight train for Gengar." Roxanne replied.

"Gengar?!" Gengar came face to face with some of the orbs that were lined up like a blockade, threatening to crash into Gengar as another trail was right behind him. He was now surrounded.

"Talk about random!" Ash cried out. "But we've dealt with random before! Phase through, Gengar!"

"Gen!" This was where Gengar's traits as a ghost would truly shine. He had become intangible, phasing through the trail and blockade of Psychic orbs. The orbs crashed into each other, combusting as it allowed Gengar to finally approach Espeon.

"Esp?!"

"Gengar!" Gengar had a massive grin in front of Espeon before swinging his fist. A direct hit onto Espeon. Right to the face too as Espeon felt the chilling blow from Gengar, causing it to be launched.

"Nice hit!" Ash pumped his fist with Pikachu cheering alongside him.

"Pika-Pika!"

"Espeon!" And with that mighty blow from Ice Punch, Espeon's had been frozen.

However, there was a major caveat that always came with facing Espeon. Two of its abilities would always relate to status effects. And in this case, Espeon had Synchronize. The moment it was frozen, Gengar was frozen too. Both Pokemon were encased in ice as they had fallen over while within their icy prisons.

"Not what I was hoping for." Gold commented, scratching his head. "I rarely get the freeze effect." Even when knowing his Espeon had answers for status effects, apparently, the freeze effect was the rarest for him.

"Guess we're both at a stalemate with this one." Ash chuckled. "Unless..."

"One of us breaks out first!" Both Ash and Gold said in unison as Gengar and Espeon could hear them loud and clear. The newest approach was to free themselves from their icy prisons with the voice of their trainers encouraging them.

"Use Psychic to break out, Gengar!"

"Espeon, Stored Power to shatter the ice!" Gold also had a way of breaking free. This was one of his many plans if Espeon were to ever be frozen. Within the ice, both Pokemon were giving it their all to break free. Their eyes were glowing as all of the Psychic energy they could must was being summoned.

It wasn't easy breaking out of an ice prison. Usually, they just wait for it to thaw out. But it could be said that Espeon could potentially have an easier time breaking free as Stored Power was amplified thanks to Calm Mind. Gengar didn't have an amplifier as the ice around Espeon's ice prison looked to be the first to start breaking with cracks forming. Ash knew that if Espeon were to get out, it was free damage for it whilst Gengar would still be frozen.

"I've got it!" But while Gengar was building up Psychic, Ash had already hatched something in mind. It wasn't enough to just free, Gengar. Ash decided to improvise. "Sweetie Belle. Premium. Diamond Tiara. Coco. I hope you're all watching! Here's a contest move to use! Gengar! Use Psychic on the ice prison to levitate yourself!"

"Gen...Gar!" Gengar did just that. Instead of breaking free, Gengar had levitated the icy prison, carrying himself into the air.

"What the?!" Gold gasped as everyone had witnessed Gengar ascend with the ice prison. "Meanwhile, Espeon ended up breaking free via the burst of Psychic orbs.

"Esp?!"

"Check it out! Gengar's all protected inside that ice prison for the time being!" Ash grinned as another one of his hair-brained schemes had come to fruition. No matter what, he manages to pull them off even on the spot.

"Awesome!" Gold's eyes lit up. "But wait! Gengar's still immobile! Stored Power!"

"Is he? Gengar, start moving and use bits of the ice!"

"Gengar!" Gengar continued to use Psychic wi the utmost best usage of it. Not only was he moving the ice prison while Stored Power was being shot at him, but he also took parts of the prison, summoning shards of ice.

After flying over some of the orbs, Gengar launched the shards at Espeon, raining them down on the Sun Pokemon. He had used the ice to his advantage as Espeon had been bombarded by the shards, taking damage in the process.

"Esp!" Espeon was pushed back by the shards as Gengar was gradually breaking the rest of this icy prison apart just by doing this.

"That's it! That's the kind of ridiculousness well love to see from Ash!" Twilight cheered as she and the others knew that Ash's plans were always a thrill to see, no matter how insane they appear to be.

"I'll call this Psy-Ice! That's it!" And just like that, he had formed a new move. Joining Ice Aqua Jet Thunder Armor, Counter Shield and Makeshift Thunderbolt in the family of Ash's out of this world yet unique moves was Psy-Ice. A Gengar exclusive.

"Man, that's something." Gold laughed, lowering his hat as Ash was bringing him further joy with this battle. "Yeah. You're one heck of a trainer alright. Gives me a bigger motivation to keep going! Morning Sun, Espeon!"

"Espeon!" Espeon would now use the power of the sun for itself. By looking at the star in the sky, Espeon's whole body glows white as all around it, radiant golden rays of light shined outward from Espeon's body Just like that, Espeon had healed up under the grace of the sun. The light was bright enough to briefly blind Ash and Gengar.

"Man, that's bright!" Ash covered his eyes.

"Gengar!"

"I use that to always blind my opponents and give Espeon a chance to heal! Just like this! Now, let's go for Shadow Ball! Break that prison!"

"Esp!" Espeon opened its mouth, summoning a blob of shadows hastily before spitting it out.

"Time to break free, Gengar! Use Night Shade!"

"Gen...Gar!" Gengar had left Psy-Ice for now. But it was certainly a skill that would be used in the future as he broke it apart with ice shards flying everywhere. Upon breaking free, Gengar's eyes flashed black before unleashing a red and black beam from his eyes.

The orb and the beam clashed with Espeon's superior increased special attack coming into play. It had managed to overpower Night Shae, engulfing Gengar in the process. Gengar was given a super-effective hit once Shadow Ball crashed into him.

"Let's follow up with Stored Power!"

"Espeon!" The Psychic-Type soon leapt into the air with the orbs emerging out of it. This time, it would be an aerial assault as the orbs of concentrated Psychic energy had been dropped, ready to bombard the Ghost-Poison-Type.

"Go through the ground, Gengar!"

"Gen!" Gengar slid on the marble-covered ground of the stadium before them turning intangible to phase through. He passed through the ground, evading Stored Power in the process as the orbs had failed. Espeon had descended, landing on its feet before then realizing this was similar to the move Dig. AKA, Gengar could pop out and possibly attack at any second.

"Stay sharp, Espeon! Gengar could show up anywhere!"

"Esp!" Espeon nodded as it would already be quick on its feet, waiting for the right moment to act.

"Who said we were coming up?" However, Ash had another one of his otherworldly ideas. "Ice Punch from below!"

"Gen-Gen!" Instead of bursting up as Gold and Espeon expected, Gengar had instead touched the stadium from underground, utilizing the icy chill from Ice Punch to cause a flash-freeze. Right underneath Ash, Gold, Pikachu, Espeon and even the referee's legs, the stadium was starting to freeze up with ice rapidly spreading.

"The whole ground from below?!"

"Espeon?!" Espeon's balance was immediately thrown off balance by this as its legs were trying to maintain this weakening balance immediately. "Esp!"

"Pop up with an Ice Punch!"

"Gar!" With Espeon lacking balance, Gengar had popped out of the ground from behind Espeon, already having Ice Punch ready once more.

"Behind you, Espeon! Dodge it!"

"Esp!" Espeon turned around, attempting to dodge, only to fail in doing so thanks to the frozen ice.

"Gen...Gar-Gar-Gar!" Gengar could unleash Ice Punch by delivering repeated hits. Espeon felt this frenzy of Ice Punches that were enough to leave it winded in the process. By focusing heavily on physical attacks only, Calm Mind's purpose wasn't working to Gold's benefit as only the Special Attack was of any use. Gengar delivered the last hit, knocking Espeon away which caused the Sun Pokemon to spin on the icy stadium.

"Now! Shadow Ball!" Ash roared.

"Gen...!" He had two blobs of darkness, forming them into one stronger variation before then deciding to approach Espeon, aiming to force it onto the Sun Pokemon instead of throwing it.

"Stored Power! Around yourself, Espeon!"

"Espeon!" Espeon stopped moving to avoid falling over, immediately surrounding itself in the orbs of Stored Power. But as protection. The blob of shadows met with the orbs, resulting in a chain reaction. The two attacks blew up around each other, engulfing both Pokemon in the process.

Gengar and Espeon had both been blown away from this fierce collision. The two of them tumbled on the cold ground before getting back up. But that collision certainly befuddled them. They were now feeling the effects at last as Gengar held his head whilst Espeon was still trying to stand on the ice. But only one of them would stand. And the one to stand was neither as they had both fallen, fainting in unison.

"Gengar..."

"Espeon...

"Both Gengar and Espeon are unable to battle!"

"Double knockout you love and hate to see it." Roxie shrugged.

"At least Ash evened things out there. For a while, it looked like Espeon would win with all of that stored power." Twilight was right on the nose with that one. Even Gold knew that Espeon's Stored Power would've helped him through this.

"Looks like Ash toppled Gold's plan to pave the way for the rest of Gold's Pokemon," Brendan replied. as Ash and Gold had recalled their Pokemon.

"Thanks, Espeon. You battled hard. Return."

"Thanks, Gengar. You left behind this ice floor for everyone else so it won't be wasted."

"Hmm...My Espeon plan didn't pan out. Gotta think ahead fast..." Gold thought to himself before he and Ash held their next Poke Balls.

"Alright! Counting on you, Dragonite!" For Ash, Dragonite was up next.

"Tyranitar! Let's go!" Out came Tyranitar for Gold. Both Pokemon had emerged with Tyranitar already letting out a roar to assert its dominance.

"Dragonite!"

"Tyranitar!" And the moment Tyranitar showed up, its ability Sand Stream had kicked in, summoning an immediate sandstorm. A raging one to boot that blocked out the vibrant rays of the sun.

"Go, Tyranitar! Stone Edge!"

"Ty!" Tyranitar had summoned glowing crystals around its body that resembled rocks orbiting a planet. Tyranitar roared once more, ordering the crystals to fly at Dragonite.

"Dragon Claw!"

"Dra!" Dragonite faced the crystals, covering her claws with draconic energy. The Dragon Pokemon had started swinging at the crystals, shattering them in the process with tremendous force.

"Get close, Dragonite! And strike!"

"Gonite!" Dragonite approached Tyranitar, advancing with Dragon Claw.

"Thunder Punch, Tyranitar!"

"Tyra!" Tyranitar would also approach, however, the ice ground was still an issue. The moment Tyranitar started moving, it could already feel itself starting to wobble. Because of this, it allowed Dragonite to get the first hit in, staying airborne. A slash to Tyranitar's face had been made, pushing the Armor Pokemon back. "Ty!"

"Man...that ice ground..." Gold uttered, knowing that the ice ground was a still problem after Gengar had summoned. But instead of aiming to get rid of it, Gold, much like Ash, sparked an idea. And it involved the ice plus Dragonite. "Wait a sec...I got it! Tyranitar, let's use the ice! Earthquake to raise some of it!"

"Tyranitar!" Tyranitar stomped on the ground, unleashing a golden shockwave while also making the stadium tremble. However, this Earthquake's power had been held back so as to not fully destroy the ice. Gold had an idea as massive ice chunks had been raised. Ash stayed alert, wondering what Gold was going for. That is until he picked up on it instantly.

"Great! Now use the chunks and attack Dragonite with them!"

"Ranitar!" Tyranitar had grabbed the ice chunks, now using them as a weapon. Just like that, Tyranitar had used Gengar's plan against Ash's Pokemon, throwing the chunks at the Dragon Pokemon as this was Dragonite's greatest weakness.

"Dodge, Dragonite!"

"Dra!" Dragonite started zooming through the air once the first two chunks were thrown at it, easily evading them. However, Tyranitar had then used its tails, whacking the rest of the chunks as they were thrown towards the Dragon-Flying-Type.

Dragonite was forced to keep evading while also knocking some of the crystals away in the process. Dragonite then closed in on Tyranitar after getting through the frenzy of ice.

"Here comes Dragonite! Thunder Punch!"

"Tyranitar!" This time, Tyranitar could pull off Thunder Punch as parts of the ice floor had been dismantled. Dragon Claw and Thunder Punch came into contact with each other with Dragonite and Tyranitar having a fierce staredown. They went back and forth with Dragon Claw and Thunder Punch with neither side back away at all.

But as they were going back and forth, Tyranitar also took moments to launch the ice chunks with its tail, sending them at the Dragon Pokemon. Dragonite was pelted in the face by ice chunks, causing her to flinch.

"Ranitar!" Tyranitar took advantage of this flinch, delivering a strong right blow to Dragonite via Thunder Punch. Dragonite's eyes opened as she was propelled away from Tyranitar. She fell to the ground with her large body rolling.

"Dragonite! Are you okay?!" Ash asked as that hit was harder than expected. Dragonite was indeed fine, still able to stand. However, there was one issue.

Thunder Punch had paralyzed her.

"D-Dragonite!" Dragonite winced as her body twitched from the electricity. This would certainly give Tyranitar an edge.

"I'm not sure who was this right now," Fluttershy said, completely lost on the possible victor of this battle.

"Why doesn't Ash just use either of his Fighting-Types?" Chrysalis asked Celestia, knowing that Tyranitar was a massive target for Ash's Lucario and Sirfetch'd.

"Ash never goes the way you expect, Chrysalis," Celestia replied. "He loves to push and test himself whenever he battles."

"True." Luna nodded in agreement. He could switch, but to him, becoming a Pokemon Master means overcoming insurmountable odds. And without a doubt, he makes it work. But this Gold Trainer is an issue no doubt."

"Come on, brat! Just use that jackal and bird already!" Sombra shouted from afar, wanting Ash to put an end to Tyranitar as soon as possible.

"Dragonite!" But even when paralyzed, Dagonite could still stand, albeit with sparks around her.

"Hmm..." Ash held his hat, thinking of the next approach. "Using the ice against me's pretty good, but there's a way I can reverse it even when paralyzed. Hurricane!"

"Dragonite!" Dragonite ascended, swivelling her body as she was picking up some wind. Even when paralyzed, she could still perform this one trick with Hurricane as the chunks of ice were already starting to move due to the emerging wind.

"Stone Edge!"

"Ty...Ra!" Tyranitar unleashed Stone Edge, throwing the large crystals once more. This time, it would add some ice chunks to the mix. However, all of that was pointless as Dragonite's Hurricane had pulled them in as well. "Tyranitar?!"

"Your crystals are mine!" Ash grinned. "Release!"

"Gonite!" After gathering an array of ice and crystals, Dragonite unleashed Hurricane, flying out of it as the vicious force of wind had been launched at Tyranitar.

"Holy smokes!" Gold pulled back as this gigantic Hurricane plus giant crystals and ice chunks were coming in hot. "Tyranitar! Counter with Earthquake!"

"Tyranitar!" Tyranitar used the full force of Earthquake this time, stomping on the ground as the golden shockwaves erupted once more, this time destroying all of the ice around the stadium completely.

The shockwaves met with the Hurricane, fighting back against it. The crystals and ice chunks had been shattered, only to them pelt Tyranitar's body. Albeit, it was minimal since they had been broken. Hurricane and Earthquake equalized with the wind dispersing and the shockwaves diminishing.

"Return, Dragonite." Ash briefly returned Dragonite. "Okay! Let's keep this up! Lucario, go!" Ash ended up going for Lucario, summoning the Aura Pokemon.

"Lucario!" And one major benefit to Lucario being out here was his immunity to the Sand Stream.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Lu...Ca...Rio!" Lucario put his arms together, gathering up some Aura before then manifesting it into a sphere. Lucario then stomped on the ground before then launching the sphere.

"Tyranitar! Thunder Punch!"

"Tyranitar...!" Tyranitar was going to meet its arms with Aura Sphere. The approach was to knock it away for even back at Lucario. The sphere had approached with Tyranitar's Thunder Punch meeting with it. Its arms started trembling upon hitting the sphere, but Tyranitar did successfully knock it away. The Aura Sphere flew into the air before blowing up afterwards.

"Return, Tyranitar!" Gold recalled Tyranitar, knowing how big of a risk it was for it to be out here against Lucario. He swapped it out for his next Pokemon. Just wait a bit, okay? Here goes! Typhlosion, you're next!"

"Typholosion!" Up next was Typhlosion. Gold's signature Pokemon.

"Typhlosion?" Scootaloo held out her Pokedex, never seeing Typhlosion in real life yet.

"Typhlosion. The Volcano Pokemon. Typhlosion obscures itself behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intensely hot flames. This Pokémon creates blazing explosive blasts that burn everything to cinders. It creates heat shimmers with intense fire to hide itself."

"It's not time to panic yet." Gold said to Ash. "We're just getting started!"

"Same here! Let's go, Gold!" Ash was on the same wavelength as Lucario and Typhlosion snarled at each other, ready to engage with everything they had.

The limit was 30 Minutes and so far, only 14 minutes had passed. Time was ticking until this battle would end, however, these two, who were the best of their respective regions, would certainly not waste it even when performing at their best as the journey continues.
