//------------------------------// // Double Revelations // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Ponyville. Day. After a heart-racing and intense mission during the journey to the Sea Temple, Ash, Luna, Shining Armor, Adagio and the others returned at last. And with many stories to tell. Ash couldn't help but talk about the People of the Water and how they had returned. Plus, the new friends he had made. "Aw, what?!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "You were the King of the Sea!? Aw...why didn't we get to see it?" "Sorry. I could've flown all the way to Ponyville to show you guys but I was too busy helping out." Ash chuckled. "Tell us more. About when you were flying!" Scootaloo pleaded. "Or maybe that whole Necrozma thing." "I've heard of Necrozma. Never seen it before." Twilight chimed in. "It was that dangerous from how you described it? Absorbing all that light?" "Yeah. But that's just that Necrozma. The Necrozma I know's different and all that. Hope it's doing well out there." Ash looked in the air, thinking of the Necrozma he met back in Alola. "Well, take your mind off that Necrozma thing for a while, why don't you?" Rarity said to him. "It's almost time for both Hearth's Warming and Christmas. Rainbow Dash's Castform is already in the mood in his Hail Form. "Castform!" "Yeah, you're right. I gotta get started with mom." Ash sat up. "I hear my cousins and auntie are gonna come over soon for this year's Christmas." "Cousins? Oh, I've never met your cousins yet, Ash." Fluttershy said. "Neither has Pikachu. It'll be the first time for everything. Aunt Hillary and Cousin Trey and Troy are gonna love the stuff I'm gonna say." He chuckled. "You can come and meet them when they show up. They'll be here for a few days too." "Speaking of which, my mom and dad are gonna be here too." Twilight chimed in. "What about all of you?" "Some family members from far and wide for me." Applejack raised her hoof. "Cold's involved too, obviously." "My family isn't gonna be here. But it'll be me, my Pokemon and Jade over at my family Rock Farm." So did Pinkie Pie. "I believe we get the gist of it all. Although...your father is the one out of the picture the most, isn't he, Ash?" Rarity pouted, shifting her squinted eyes at Ash. "All of our family members will be there after all." "Yeah. Plus grandpa too." Ash replied. "Dad's still out there on his journey. But he sure does celebrate Christmas just like me, mom and everyone else. He's pretty excited about it every time." "Pika?" "Well, I should be getting ready for gifts and setup." Twilight stood up. "Tell us the rest of your journey and the Sea Temple. Especially the Sea Temple!" She wanted to know about the temple more than anyone else. Ash would gladly grant that request as the story he was telling was not yet finished. The Dazzling's Home. "Mom's out there?!" Aria and Sonata roared after Adagio had revealed something amazing. "Where?!" "I don't know, okay?!" Adagio pulled back after receiving the dual shout. "All I know is that mom now lives at the Sea Temple with the People of the Water. She found her way there one day and is on a journey somewhere out there in the Pokemon World." "This is great! Mom's okay!" Sonata, relieved with absolute joy, started shaking Aria up and down. "She's okay! Oh! We gotta go find her then?! Our own Pokemon Journey to find mom!" "For once, you and I are thinking big as well," Adagio replied. "That's what I'm planning. The People of the Water said that she would be back in a few weeks. And during those few weeks, they're going to repair the Sea Temple after everything that's happened there. Princess Celestia and Luna will be helping out and the temple's going to stay at Lilycove City for a while. So...we have all the time we need until that temple gets repaired." "How long will that take?" Aria asked. "Weeks. Perfect timing. That Dragon Force did bring one good benefit at least." "There's so much we can tell, mom now." Sonata looked at Aria. "We can tell her all about um..." "We should keep it limited." Adagio interrupted. "As limited as we can when we reunited with her." "Huh?" Aria raised an eyebrow. "Why?" "Mom's not gonna like what we've been doing right now. Especially with where we are. So we can't tell her anything major. We should just tell her about how we ended up in the Human World too, met some Pokemon and that's that." "But that's no fun? I mean, I know what you mean but..." Sonata pouted. She and Aria understood Adagio reason as to why their mother Vivace should not know everything. Otherwise, sparks could fly from what could be a happy family reunion. "We should also pass through to the Human World first and then enter through the Pokemon World. That way, we'll show up in our human forms." She suggested, not wanting to show herself as a pony to her mother. But Aria and Sonata were still not sure about this. Canterlot. Day. Over at Canterlot, Luna was taking the time to relax as much as she could. No time for training with her Pokemon or going to her next gym to prepare for the Equestria League. After the Sea Temple journey, this was needed. Celestia came into the room, checking up on her little sister. "Okay, Luna. We'll head to the Sea Temple tomorrow to help. How does that sound?" "Fine by me." Luna yawned, making herself cosy on her bed. "Afterwards, and then after Hearth's Warming, I'll handle most of everything else for a bit while you relax. I know you need it. Even with you fully grasping Lunar Ire and Sorrowful Rage Magic." "That reminds me." Luna sat up. "I should help Twilight Sparkle with that magic as well. She also tapped into that magic uncontrollably like me. One day after I did. Lunar Ire told me that her name was...Horizon Storm, I believe?" "Not a bad idea. After all, you're the first pony ever to control that magic. May who've been hit by it couldn't help but lose themselves in all of that magic. Perhaps you could also teach everypony else who may have at a later date." "I shall do so." Luna saluted with a cheesy grin. "It's high time I was the teacher for once." "Also...I wonder if Pyrestar is doing well? I haven't heard from her in weeks. Reshiram and Zekrom are still out there assisting other universes." "That is worrying that she and her Universe have not been in touch with us yet. Perhaps we should ask the Universal Alliance for questions on if they've seen?" "Most definitely." Celestia agreed as it was concerning how there was nothing from Pyrestar to this day. Universe 46, the Universe Pyrestar originates from was practically silent. Little did they know, Daybreaker was the answer to this. Universe 6. Equestria. Canterlot. Day. Speaking of Universes, over at Universe 6, the Universe where the climax of the invasion took place, all was well and calm now. The Empress' rule on this universe had been greatly diminished. Thus, the Celestia of this world returned as the ruler of Equestria. This universe was essentially free of the Empress' rule. But many would still have to recover among other things. Aside from that, the Celestia of this world was making some changes. "If Empress Twilight ends up regaining just as much power as she did before the invasion, that would be troublesome. Fortifying the dungeons could work. We'll make it alicorn proof!" Celestia exclaimed. "Then...How does the deeper area of the dungeons sound?" A guard asked. "They are usually the hardest to escape from and the hardest to navigate through." "Hm. That's a good point. And wait...We have a deeper dungeon?" Celestia blinked two times. "I wasn't even aware of that." "The Empress deepened the dungeons during her reign. Only immense threats were said to be put there. Aside from your sister Luna, who was sent to the moon instead." "It's a good thing I became a maid to her, didn't I?" Celestia chuckled while having a nervous expression on her face, wiping some sweat away. She was glad she didn't get the dungeon option." "Speaking of which...your majesty. About the deepest part of the dungeons. The Empress made sure that nopony but her would enter it. Something is in there that only she can access." Celestia's attention had been piqued. An area that nopony, not even the guards were allowed to enter was at the deepest part of this dungeon. She had to see it. "Show me." The guard led Princess Celestia to the dungeon as it was just those two. Once arriving at the dungeon, they saw the usual dungeon that's always been here. Some of those ponies from the invasion had been locked up while others were elsewhere with different punishments. They were being guarded 24/7. But there was something beyond that. Further ahead was a single path. Its twisted trail leads past collapsed rooms and ravaged rubble and soon they entered a shady area. An area untouched by many. The guard stayed back as he felt nervous even approaching it. Celestia would go at it alone. She let out a golden glow from her horn, creating light in the darkness. The Ruler of Equestria then walked towards the single twisted path. Her light guided the way as this went way deeper than she was expecting. Far past the natural Canterlot Dungeons and potentially even the Canterlot Mines. Once getting to a far enough distance, it was just her in this darkness with only her light. The deeper she went, the more obscure it became. Anypony would feel lost down here without something to support them. But after trotting through the deepest parts of this uncharted area, a large granite door could be seen up ahead. Large hoof dents are all over it, somehow untouched by time and the elements. There was something uneasy about it. Just a lone door sitting out there, untouched by practically everything. Except possibly Empress Twilight. Celestia took a deep breath, knowing that she had to discover this. Who knows what Empress Twilight was trying to hide. But as she got closer to the door, she could hear something past it. The sound of a pebble being bounced off the wall. And even the door. Celestia paused after hearing this. She had to stay alert. The pebble sounds continued coming. Bouncing off the walls and door, not putting a dent in any of them. The Princess of the Sun prepared for the worst as she used her magic to blast a massive hole through the door. The sound of the pebble quickly stopped as it was drowned out by rubble falling. Once the hole had been blasted, Celestia stepped back with her horn glowing brighter. "Is somepony there?!" Surprisingly, a voice echoed through the room ahead as it passed through Celestia's ears. Once the smoke from the destruction faded away, Celestia was met with a shocking sight. Twilight. Fully grown to Celestia's height too. She sat there with a strange black metal object covering her horn as her body was in scratches. There, she sat alone with no sparkles in her mane, despite her being a fully grown alicorn. "Twilight?!" Celestia couldn't help but gawk at this sight. This caught her off guard. She was expecting a rare and unknown magical item of untold power or a creature that no one knew of. Not this. "Somepony finally came for me. I knew it!" Twilight then gained a smile on her otherwise dismal face which seemed to be in a constant state of despair. She then stood up with weak hooves as they wobbled. Celestia was still taking this in. Twilight then spread her wings, flying towards the hole. But despite how big it was, it wasn't exactly alicorn-sized. Thus, Twilight ended up bumping her horn and the metal part around her horn on the door. "Ow!" She cried out, falling on her back. "Mmmm..." She whimpered, holding her horn. as tears started flowing. "Wait a minute...Which Universe Twilight are you?" She asked, wondering when another universe Twilight Sparkle had ended up here and how long she's been here. "What?" Twilight replied with a confounded face. "W-What do you mean?" "You're from another universe, aren't you? I wasn't aware that another Twilight from another universe was down here. The Empress kept you here and away from everypony else? Why?" "Princess Celestia. It's me." Twilight pointed her hoof at herself. "Twilight. This is my universe." And that further blew Celestia's expectations out of the water. First finding another Twilight and hearing about this. From what this Twilight said, she also originated from this universe as well. Her home. "Your- Wait, do you mean-" "Sorry if it sounds off." Twilight wiped a tear away with a smile forming. "I've missed you so much, Princess Celestia. After being down here for so long. But yes, I am this world's Twilight. And the same goes for the Empress." "But that's impossible!" Celestia pulled back, still trying to figure out what this meant. And only one answer could be plausible. "Unless...The portal the Human World." She then looked at Twilight. Twilight looked back at her, nodding in response as she didn't even need to say anything to give an answer. Celestia could tell what this meant. "Oh, dear." The Princess of the Sun turned around once her mind processed everything. "So the Empress is..." "She's the Twilight from the world Sunset lives in. Or used to live in." Twilight stood up. "My human self is the one taking charge of everything. As for me, I've been replaced. For 20 years or more it seems." "Oh, Twilight! I didn't know!" Celestia used her magic to remove the rest of the granite door. She then ran up to her fellow alicorn as she gave her a well-needed hug. "I didn't even think about it! I mean if I did and knew I would try-" "It's okay. I'm just glad to see a friendly face again." She laughed. "But how did this happen exactly? That human variation of yourself? How and why did she do this?" "Well...It all happened when Starlight Glimmer and I went through time. On that same day, Sunset Shimmer was trying to reach me with her letters. But I was too late to get them on time. When I did get them after stopping Starlight from messing with time, I went over to the human world. But I was too late. The Twilight of that world had unleashed a huge amount of magic that she gathered up from some pendant. All the magic inside of it became a part of her and that's how she discovered Equestria as well." "And how she came through here." Celestia finished the TWilight sentence. "I came too late at that time. That Twilight had already opened up portals across Equestria left and right. Sunset and everyone tried to stop her but they couldn't. And I couldn't do anything either. When we both met, she already knew what she wanted to do to me. A lot happened and it all led to this." "You can tell me the rest later, Twilight. Right now, let's get you cleaned up. You need to see the sun again as well." "Okay. I'd like that." Twilight nodded with a brief smile. Celestia led Twilight out of this part of the dungeon via teleportation as Twilight was finally free after all these years. Upon showing up, the guard had seen both Celestia and Twilight. The tall visage of the purple alicorn startled the guard as it instantly reminded him of Empress Twilight. And that was a valid reason to be started. "Gaaah!" "No-no-no-!" Celestia shook her head, calming the guard down. "It is not what it seems! You're safe!" "Not from her!" The guard bellowed, breathing in and out rapidly as Twilight backed away slowly. "Well, it's not her but...Oh, this will take some time to explain..." Celestia groaned, knowing that showing Twilight to Equestria, especially with this appearance, would alarm many. Kanto Region. Pallet Town. Ketchum Household. Nightfall. Time passed and Ash had finally returned to Pallet Town. He had told his friends everything about the journey he and Pikachu had. They learned some great information. But now, Ash was ready to rest. He already resting up, totally asleep with barely anything able to wake him. Not even Pikachu's electricity. The only force that can wake Ash up most of the time is Delia. He was drifting away. But surprisingly, not in the Dream Realm. Instead in the mind of his Aura. At least momentarily. "Hm? How'd I end up here?" Ash wondered, surprised that she showed up back here. He was expecting to be dreaming right about now. "Sorry for bringing you here without a warning." Replying to him was a familiar face. Rather, multiple familiar faces. The parent of the Rift, who was currently taking the form of Professor Sycamore. "Oh, hey. Rift Parent." Ash gave it a nickname since he wasn't sure what to call it. "Been a bit. Uh...is there something important?" "Not really. I just wanted to pop in and check up on you. It gets boring being on my lonesome after all." It replied with a chuckle. "I should also congratulate you about saving the Sea Temple. Certainly grander than last time." "Yeah. And rougher. Surprised my Delayed Aura Ataxia didn't kick in right there. I think I'm getting the hang of it. I'm gonna do what I can to solve it. And get your kids back too from the Rift. And uhh...also head to Magehold to figure other stuff out. And-" "You do a lot, Ash. How is it that you can take on every task while still have time to admire everything around you?" It asked before taking the form of Cilan. "I've got all my friends to thank for that. I remember when I was starting out my Pokemon Journey for the first time. I just wanted to go-go-go and be the very best. But I sped up too much. If it wasn't for Misty, Brock, May and everyone else, I would've missed out on a bunch. But even then, there's still a whole lot I haven't seen yet out there. You know about what's out there, right?" "I do. But I won't spoil it for you. Well, anyway, it's good that you're going great as always. Perhaps I shouldn't start thinking of the worst." "Nah, it's fine. You gotta be cautious sometimes, ya know." Ash wagged his finger. "I mean, BigTime Ben's always careful. Maybe that's why he has so much awesome stuff...oooh..." He pondered for a moment. "Oh. About that. It's not exactly caution and care that makes BigTime Ben so...well...BigTime." The Rift Parent had shrugged before appearing as Latias. "What do you mean by that? There's something else?" He scratched his hair. "Perhaps I should've told you this when we first met. Now might be the best time." It was clear that the Rift Parent had something to reveal. Something of great value. "Do you recall what I mentioned in our first meeting? How my power does not compare to the Rift. Therefore, I cannot interact with everything like it can." "Yeah. You didn't get the same full result like your kids. I remember." Ash nodded. "Well, yes. But even still, I can do a few things. Such as interacting with you as I am doing now. But, I was able to do one thing. One sole thing that I made sure would benefit many." The Rift Parent then appeared as Sunset Shimmer. "Huh?" "I created a human. Based on the grandfather of my children and the one thing that a majority of my power could construct. BigTime Ben." "Oh...WHAT?!" Ash, after pausing for a moment, let out an outburst of shock. He did not expect that. "S-So...! BigTime Ben's a Rift Human!" "Correct. Their grandfather mainly. Spitting image and everything. Down to the voice. It certainly took a lot out of me to make just one human and every other necessity." "No way..." Ash's eyes shifted around, trying to process this. "B-But wait...! BigTime Ben is from Johto! He's got a home there and he had parents who passed away! Right...?" "Apologies. But everything, including his past, was all an illusion that had altered reality. For the most part. It was essentially a Pokemon Variant of his real past. He was amazing back in our world and I made sure to bring that wonderful part of him into this world. The illusions warped reality itself, making you all and even those viewing this journey see something else. Perhaps that was taken too far." "Woah...That totally puts a lot of stuff together...I think? Wait does it?" "You could say that. I mean, it only stood to reason why he would be a Rift Human. How do you think he was able to show up weeks after your world had crossed over, Have the necessary objects such as Poke Balls and usual Trainer equipment, set up Gyms so quickly and already fill in positions for Gym Leaders as well. No one can work that fast. Except for a Rift Human. BigTime Ben is below that of Lucien and Sienna, though. In which, he cannot do much like they can." "I get it, I get it." Ash nodded, crossing his arms as his mind caught up with everything. He could now understand what this all meant. "Man...So Big.Co's Rift-related too. A lot of stuff from him is. Does that mean Gothitelle too?" "To an extent, yes. Ben back in our world came from a slightly older time. And in those times, they had this doll." The Rift Parent, now appearing as Ember, manifested an object in this Aura mind. The object was revealed to be a doll made in an older time with older clothes. This doll was wearing a dress with a gothic style that was slightly resembled Gothitelle's. "He had his doll when he was young. It was essentially a stress toy to him when he was afraid and he has stuck by it throughout his younger years. Something that would comfort him. As he grew up, he never abandoned it. While he doesn't carry it with him, it sits nicely at his home. And Gothitelle is the representation of that." "Ooh..." Ash was given the doll, looking at it. "Okay. I get it all now. Does BigTime Ben know? And Gothitelle?" "Ben is somewhat aware, yes. But not Gothitelle. She is only partly a Rift Creation. One part is the representation of that doll and the other is from the Pokemon World. Ah, that felt like a huge load to get off my back." "Sure was. I guess I've got another friend who's a Rift Human, huh? Boy, that's still a lot to take in. So, what about him? When all of this ends, is BigTime Ben gonna leave with you?" "Ben's future is unknown for the moment. If he wishes to stay or not then that is his decision. But for now, just like my children, look out for them. And if he needs help, well, he can trust you." "Yeah. I won't forget that, Rift Parent." "Well, have a nice dream. And a great Christmas too." The Rift Parent started fading away. "If there's anything important you want to tell me, I will always be here." "Yeah. Hang on...what do you actually look like as your human self! Both mom and dad!" Ash wanted to know now that he was a firm grasp on the family bloodline for these Rift Humans and to an extent the Rift Ponies. "Oh, something like-" But it was too late. Ash was already entering a dream state. His mind had subconsciously gone to it before it could stop and look at this appearance. He was drifting away in his dream. But he would get the chance to know what they looked like when they meet again. Ash had something to remember. He wouldn't see BigTime Ben differently at all. But he would surely know about his origins. Two shocking revelations had been made in different universes. The true Twilight Sparkle, replaced by the Empress and the truth behind BigTime Ben's origin. There are other secrets lying out there in both worlds. Every world. And they have yet to be discovered as the journey continues. Chapter 625 End.
