The Cloven and the Reshape

Pegalysium. The Capital. Afternoon.

Right now, a major revelation has occurred, shocking the entirety of Pegalysium. Mainly the capital, the news would travel tomorrow. The Indigo Alliance was now known by the capital. No longer a myth or a foal's tale. And many of the nobles were exposed.

Especially Second Wind for being the Grand Judge and leader of it all. Commotion filled the city while the nobles that had been exposed were rounded up by the Pegalysium guards. Paramount felt betrayed that some of his friends would be a part of the alliance. The same alliance that presumably caused the fate of his parents.

Aside from that, Ash and the others were pursuing Second Wind after finding the one building with the most Rift Energy lights shooting out. And in that building, or rather out of it, many of the Indigo Alliance members started escaping from a secret exit after being found out.

"So this is it," Ash said as they had found the secret entrance via Pheromosa's kick. Works every time. "Jade's past there, right?"

"Yeah." Emerald nodded in response. "Hers was shining through here. It's pretty distinct from everypony else's since she's a Rift Pony. But I can also feel her moving. That Second Wind's trying to make a quick getaway with Jade."

"She won't get away for long. Pheromosa, go!" Rarity had her Pheromosa run ahead. But not before picking Rarity, Cold, Emerald and Spike up.

She left the others in the dust, however, they could still keep pace. Going on many adventures throughout different regions and being an alicorn has its perks after all. They were joined by some allies in the form of spare Pegalysium Guards who were here to capture Second Wind and other members of the Indigo Alliance.

After moving through the passageway in the form of a slope which they all slid on, the group had entered the courtroom of the Indigo Alliance. Only to find nothing here. Every member had cleared out as soon as they had been found. It was devoid of any members. Especially Jade.

"Mosa."

"Nothing here. But they couldn't have gone far." Rarity said. "Not with your speed by our side, Pheromosa."

"Mosa, Mosa!"

"Let me see something." Emerald narrowed her eyes, using her magic to make the floor luminescent. When she did so, she had exposed hoofprints everywhere. From every member within the Indigo Alliance. She then showed more, trying to figure out which direction is the exit.

However, they soon came to find out that not everypony had left. And unfortunately, they were ponies that were less than healthy. As Emerald showed more hoofprints, looking for the exit, one of the walls had opened up, alerting everyone.

They stayed on guard, wondering what was going on. Why would the wall just suddenly open? Was this the secret exit? Unfortunately, not so much. It was the special group of ponies that have been kept in containers that had the legendary Reanimate Tears within them.

The Cloven.

They emerged from the containers after they had been opened. Once open, they jumped out of it, groaning together as stood before Ash and his friends. One look and Ash and everyone saw these ponies and their oddly wrinkly faces and somewhat sluggish stance.

"Something's not right with those ponies." Cold stuttered. "Why are they like that?"

"They look like...Zombies!" Spike gasped after getting a good look at them. "Zombie Ponies!"

"Seriously?! Cool!" Ash was shocked and then impressed at the same time. But as he got the last word in, the Cloven then started attacking with the first few lunging at Ash and the others. "Woah!"

They groaned, just like how a zombie would. Even their eyes were hollow and seemingly lifeless as they had pinned Twilight, Spike, Cold, Emerald and Rarity to the floor. Ash and Pheromosa had the Cloven latch onto their bodies.

"H-Hey! Get off!" Emerald cried out as she used her magic to toss these zombie-like ponies off. However, as they struck the wall, they barely felt any pain at all as more of them started leaping and jumping on the group.

Pheromosa wasn't a fan of harming other ponies but this was an exception. She used her destructive kicks to knock them all away. However, they stood up immediately after being struck by Pheromosa's powerful kicks. They looked like they weren't even phased.

"Mosa?!" Pheromosa gasped. Not many can withstand her kicks. Not many at all. Even Twilight, Emerald, Cold and Rarity were shocked by how they shrugged off the magic like it was nothing.

"Didn't they feeling anything?!" Cold moved back in shock. "They really are zombies!"

"Pretty fast zombies too!" Emerald gulped as every Cloven within this room either galloped and lunged at the group or used their magic. Despite their condition, they still had access to magic via their wings.

There were so many of them to try and keep track of considering the abundance of tubes there were here. Axew had transformed into Haxorus to try and scare them away. But they weren't fearful at all. They instead grabbed onto Haxorus despite his intimidating appearance.

The Cloven then started biting down on their targets without a second thought. Even though Haxorus had a hard-armoured body, he was shocked to see them take this approach. "Xo?"

"P-Phero!" But Pheromosa certainly felt it. Her supple and lissome body made her fragile to almost anything as she cried out. Everyone else, while not feeling as much as Pheromosa, still felt something.

"Ah! You brutes!" Rarity gasped before using her magic to blow away a Cloven that was gnawing on her mane. More kept coming, trying to bite on her only for Haxorus to grab them with his claws, tail and his mouth as a bit of irony.

"We won't make progress will all of them biting us like this!" Twilight winced before thinking of a spell to use. "Here goes nothing!"

With her horn flashing, she had cast a massive sleeping spell that had engulfed the entire room. She made sure to only hit the Cloven and not her friends.

However, she soon came to find out that the Cloven were immune to that as well. Even when the pulse went through them, they did not sleep at all. They just kept attacking, much to Twilight's chagrin.

"Are you kidding me?!" She squealed before Espeon saved her from an incoming group of Cloven. This was getting repetitive at this point with Jade possibly getting further with each passing second and minute.

"Pikachu! Paralyze them with Thunderbolt!" Ash said while holding a Cloven that was trying to bite him.

"Pika...Chuuu!" Pikachu unleashed a blast of 100,000 volts from his body in all directions, shocking the Cloven. If they couldn't put them to sleep or knock them out, then paralyzation was the key.

And it turns out, it was. The Cloven wailed as they stopped in their tracks. Their bodies couldn't handle being paralyzed, that's for sure. Even a zombie can't resist it.

The Cloven had been paralyzed, unable to move. That gave Ash and the others a chance to leave. Now they would really act like zombies with sluggish movements. The group followed the hoofprints revealed with the help of Emerald Aura. However, the Cloven wouldn't stop persisting as they had a goal to catch them. But mostly, they were the distraction.

Universe 28. Dream Realm.

Lunar Ire had arrived.

With Luna reluctantly accepting help from the manifestation of Sorrowful Rage Magic, this new Luna had emerged. Lunar Ire was her name instead. She revealed it in front of Nightmare Rarity, who was stunned by this new look. Darkrai, who was dealing with two Tantabuses couldn't help but gaze at this as well.

"Luna?" Darkrai said.

"Think it's just an appearance change? Not at all." And with this new appearance came a cockier attitude. One that resembled Nightmare Rarity's. "Observe!"

For a quick demonstration, Lunar Ire used her magic first. And immediately, she performed something big. Nightmare Rarity noticed that the area surrounding her was being masked in Lunar Ire's magical aura which was a mixture of red and Luna's original aura.

By control the area, Lunar Ire had twisted the Dream Realm inside out. By doing so, everything, including the dream mist, stars, land and everything. All of it had been swapped to its opposite effect.

Darkrai and Nightmare Rarity then saw the area around them. Instead of the usual black void that is common in the Dream Realm, they were greeted with a white void instead.

"What is this?!" Nightmare Rarity gasped, observing the area. "What did you do?"

"I just inverted the Dream Realm, of course. But more than that, I've completely flipped the metaphysical state that we usually have in this realm. Mostly you and your Tantabus. Allow me to show you what I mean!" In an instant, Lunar Ire released a quick-acting yet strong beam from her horn.

Nightmare Rarity smirked, aiming to use the intangibility that comes naturally with the Nightmare state. However, she soon found out that wasn't possible as the beam struck her either way, knocking the unicorn back. "Ugh! W-What?! What happened to my intangibility?!"

"I inverted it." Lunar Ire walked up. "When I was Nightmare Moon, I could do anything Luna could do but more. Luna can't become intangible in the Dream Realm, but Nightmare Moon can. While she never got the chance to do so thanks to Twilight and her friends, it was still a possibility. And the same goes for you, Nightmare Rarity."

"Pah! This is still the Dream Realm." Nightmare Rarity stood up. "And I still have control over this one with both my Tantabuses. There is no inversion to a Tantabus if you must know."

And as she said that, one of the Tantabus went straight for Lunar Ire, letting the other one deal with Darkrai. The Tantabus and Nightmare Rarity had manipulated with the Dream World, summoning 10 great lightning bolts from out of nowhere.

However, Lunar Ire smiled as the flow of electricity within the lightning had changed. Not only were they weaker than before with fewer volts within them, when they struck Lunar Ire, she barely felt it.

"That tickles." She chuckled before blowing Nightmare Rarity and the Tantabus away with the stomp of her hoof, creating an unseeable force of magic. Lunar Ire then flew towards Nightmare Rarity as the two of them clashed horns.

The Tantabus went over, transforming the blank surface into an array of spies. Lunar Ire inverted those as well, turning those solids into liquids. And she capitalized on it. After turning the spikes into liquids, Lunar Ire had a tsunami at her command, sending it towards the Tantabus and Nightmare Rarity.

Nightmare Rarity countered this by simply splitting the tsunami in half with her horn, however, the Tantabus had been struck by it, being carried by the vicious tsunami. Nightmare Rarity retaliated by dreaming of an array of massive golems. The golems went after Lunar Ire as the alicorn was ready to invert them too.

But Nightmare Rarity wouldn't allow it. She then flashed her mane, causing it to shoot out small strands. But those strands weren't smooth and silky like her mane. Instead, they were sharp. Lunar Ire quickly realized this before avoiding the incoming strands. However, after missing their mark, the strands then expanded to replicated Nightmare Rarity's massive mane. The mane then stretched, wrapping around Lunar Ire's hooves and neck.

The alicorn growled before looking up, seeing the Golems about to attack her with their massive hands. In response, Luna had constructed the figure of a massive alicorn that was identical to her. The giant alicorn had emerged, knocking the golems away while Lunar Ire sliced the manes with her magic.

The massive alicorn approached Nightmare Rarity, ready to stomp on her. Only for Nightmare Rarity to smirk and have the Tantabus deal with it. The Tantabus wrapped itself around the giant alicorn, forcing it to flail around and get this oddity off of it.

The Tantabus manipulated with the alicorn, transforming it into a sea of lava that started falling towards Lunar Ire's direction. Lunar Ire didn't have time to invert all of it, so instead she did something better.

For simplicity, she had exuded her magical aura from her body, allowing the pressure to exhibit. And by doing so, she not only turned the lava into dream mist, she even obliterated the golems, manes and greatly damaged the Tantabus, making it lose parts of its ethereal body.

"!" Nightmare Rarity gasped after feeling this pressure coming from Lunar Ire. She wasn't just giving out pressure, she was utilizing the dreams of multiple ponies, humans and Pokemon she's met in her life, forming them into aura itself. "Amazing...This is quite the surprise..."

Darkrai paralyzed the other Tantabus with Thunderbolt, causing it to freeze in place. The Pitch Black Pokemon then used the shadows, summoning dark claws from the surface as they had slammed and tossed the Tantabus away. Darkrai then flew over to Lunar Ire for further assistance.

"Oh yes. It is the surprise." Suddenly, Nightmare Rarity's shock turned into a sinister grin and devious chuckle. Something was brewing in her mind. "Thank you so much for this demonstration and showcase, Lunar Ire. I believe next time, I'll learn from this and bring some fun new surprises."

"Hm?"

"Toodles~" Nightmare Rarity suddenly whistled as she vanished from the Dream World as a spark of magic. She took the Tantabuses with them of course, leaving only Lunar Ire and Darkrai behind.

After leaving, Lunar Ire faded away, returning into Luna and bringing out the Princess of the Night once more. Once Luna returned, her head ached a bit as she almost fell over. Darkrai caught her luckily.

"My goodness..." Luna sighed. "What a rush...I've been harbouring that within me for this long?"

"Feeling okay?" Darkrai asked as he saw that Luna's horn was smoking along with her mane and tail. But afterwards, the smoke faded away with Luna relaxing. "You did good, Luna. But I'm afraid the next time we see her, more unnecessary surprises will come our way."

"I know. And we'll be-" Just as Luna was relaxing, another shock came to her. Involving her big sister. "Celestia! Darkrai! We need to find a way to free Celestia from that...orb...gravity...prison thing! Whatever it is!"

"We can't go out there at the moment, Luna. Not with how they know we're around now. We're greatly outnumbered in this scenario after all."

"Curses," Luna growled, knowing that heading out there was just asking for them to be imprisoned and for Luna to lose her magic. But, that's when Luna's smarts kicked in. She found an opportunity. "I still have the Shift Stone...And Nightmare Rarity has left..."

"Yes?"

"I have an idea." She rubbed her hooves together, hatching a plan. "Simple. But effective."

Empress Twilight's spare palace. Dungeon.

"Ah!" The Empress had woken up after being hit with Chatot's sing. All thanks to Pokemon Ranger Jackie who had tricked her by giving some trifling compliments and words. "Darn it...Sing got me. I can't believe I got tricked by that..." She then realized how she was truly tricked. "I can't believe I got tricked by that!"

"I know! Boy, that was embarrassing!" A prisoner laughed as all of them started mocking and making fun of the Empress for falling for Jackie's dallying words. "I was gonna be sick from all of that, haha!"

"Grr...!" The Empress' face turned red. Not with anger but embarrassment as the laughs continued, echoing throughout the dungeon. She had never felt this much awkwardness in years. "Shut up! All of you!"

But they wouldn't stop laughing. Despite how they were locked up and around the most dangerous alicorn in here, they couldn't help but laugh at the previous scenario. One prisoner even mocked the Empress by pouting her lips, making fake kisses.

"Jackie...You're going to pay for this!" The Empress roared as she flew out of the dungeon in anger and with a new goal. To deal with Jackie. And as she exited the dungeon, she saw that the guards were already out cold. Jackie was already on the move without being caught.

Castle hallways.

And speaking of Jackie, he was certainly on the move with no one even coming close to catching him. And if they did, he had a response for that. A more physical response.

Right now, across the hallway, some guards had fallen to the floor, looking relaxed and at peace. And standing above them as Jack Walker, who dusted himself.

"W-What did you do..." A guard said.

"Easy. Horses are sensitive on the nose, lips, mouth, and possibly the ears. Hooves don't really respond to touching but various parts of the hoof are able to feel touch either way."

"H-How did you know?"

"You're equines. Not too different from a Rapidash, Zebstrika or a Mudsdale. Just gotta think of those guys and you're all pretty easy to beat. We Pokemon Rangers are trained for this, ya know."

"Chatot! Trained for this, ya know!" Chatot repeated.

"But usually, Rapidash and the others have better endurance. Sorry." Jackie chuckled before hearing reinforcements come in. And those reinforcements were using the many vehicles also used in the invasion to try and subdue Jackie. "Oh geez...yeah I can't handle that. Time to go!"

"Chatot! Time to go!"

Jackie made a run for it as the weapons started firing their ammo towards Jackie. Mainly magical rays. Jackie kept two of those electrical staffs with him for this. Just in case.

Jackie ran around the corner as the rays struck the pillars, damaging them in the process. The airborne vehicles zoomed through the hallway, catching up to Jackie with their faster and aerodynamic mobility. The ponies piloting them had Jackie within their sights, firing magical rays at him.

"Casey, use Boomburst."

"Cha...TOT!" With a single echo, the Music Note Pokemon had sent a destructive power of a terrible, explosive sound in the form of massive white soundwaves.

The vehicles quaked from the force of Boomburst as many of the controls within them had been affected by Chatot's shout. The windows of the palace had also shattered in the mix. The ponies inside evacuated as soon as they could as the vehicles crashed into the walls and ground, breaking apart thanks to Boomburst.

"Alright. Now's a good time for some backup." Jackie took out a Travel Sphere from his pocket, picturing the one place he wanted to reveal. He wasn't heading anywhere with the Travel Sphere. Instead, he was calling for help.

Celestia's troops.

Jackie opened up a gateway to Universe One. Right over at Canterlot where Celestia's troops were waiting to arrive at the right moment. And this was the right moment. After seeing the gateway open, it was their turn.

Throwing the Empress off with a distraction, keeping her occupied and then moving in with a large army to tip the scales while Premium Polish was the main target. Grab her amidst the chaos and dash out of here. However, Celestia and Luna weren't present yet.

"Frillish...!" Phasing through one of the vehicles' was Luna's Frillish. He showed himself in one of the larger and stronger ones, knowing they would be massive threats. So to deal with that, the Water-Ghost-Type used Hydro Pump inside of the vehicle.

"Oh!" The troops inside gasped after witnessing Frillish appear out of nowhere. And right as they reacted to him, their vehicle started malfunctioning thanks to Frillish messing the controls with Hydro Pump.

The Floating Pokemon then emerged out of the vehicle, going to the next one. He began repeating the process, unleashing Hydro Pumps each time he phased through.

At the same time, as the troops of Canterlot came through, the whole palace was throwing into a frenzy. Empress Twilight walked through the hallways, looking through the shattered windows as she witnessed this scuffle between both sides occur.

"Curse you and your meddling, Celestia. But no matter what. You won't get your hooves on the child." Empress Twilight uttered before walking off. "We're going to speed things up."

Showing up to the scene was Princess Luna. Or rather, Luna in the disguise of Nightmare Rarity. She used the Shift Stone to not only mask herself as Nightmare Rarity but also gave herself scratches and a messy mane in the process as she approached the Empress.

"Rarity. Did you deal with Luna and Darkrai? And...my, how difficult was that battle?"

"Very." Luna sighed. "Darkrai escaped somewhere, but Luna should be occupied in the Dream Realm for a while. Her magic backfired a tad bit for her."

"Good. Listen up. Get your universe ready."

"Hm? Why is that?" The fake Nightmare Rarity asked.

"I'm speeding up the Magical Unite. Celestia and her annoying friends and sister are causing too many problems for me. The Magical Unite process might be interrupted at this point. If I want those remaining five days to pass by for absolute control, I can't risk it with all of this."

"Magical Unite? How does that relate to Premium? And what is it?" She said to herself before asking a question that didn't sound suspicious. "Risky, don't you think?"

"So what? As long as it gets the job done and everyone in the multiverse is under my absolute control. But, that would mean pushing Premium Polish's body to its limits. There's a chance she might break and I don't have enough time to build a new one."

"O-Oh," Luna uttered, shocked at what she was hearing. Now she knew why Premium Polish had been brought here. Somehow, her existence correlated with this Magical Unite.

"Not enough magic or power is flowing through the machine. If only I had Zekrom with me still. But either way, I'm still going through with it."

"But can you do it before Celestia and the others stop you?"

"Probably not. But I have an ace up my sleeve." The Empress smirked. "To make sure that Celestia, Luna, their forces and that pretty clean-cut Pokemon Ranger...get lost here as long as they can. It's time to reshape the castle."

The Empress teleported to one of the many laboratories within here, having an idea for this intrusion. Luna shuddered as to what the idea could be. The Empress always had something. As arrived at the lab, she raised her voice to the scientists, giving the command for this idea.

"All of you! Assemble the Reshape Function! Let's make it a maze for them all!"

With that order, the scientists all got together, activating a module made for the castle itself instead of some sort of robot. After doing so, seconds later, the palace started shaking. Everyone within the palace felt it. Celestia's side and the Empress' side.

The scientists all sat down, having seat braces to protect them from what was coming. Just as the Empress said with that command. It involved reshaping. And there was certainly some reshaping going on.

Luna looked around, noticing the palace itself was starting to change shape with an odd mutation. "What is happening?!" Even those outside witnessed it.

It looked like something a child would play with when assembling or disassembling colourful toy blocks. That was because this function was made to reassemble and reshape the palace into something different. Everyone started falling in numerous directions due to this change in balance. Jackie held onto a pillar for dear life while having Chatot near him.

All the while, the machine Premium Polish remained in was unaffected due to its hard titanium exterior. She could still see what was going on but was unable to react. After some reshaping and assembling, the palace had changed. Its usual shape was altered.

It was now a jumbled up piece of mess. No consistency or anything. The entrance couldn't be found, neither could the exit. But the broken windows were an exception. Everyone within the palace was confused.

Except for the Empress's troops, who had experienced this before.

"Hahahahaha!" The Empress laughed, knowing that what she had just done had shifted everything for her advantage. "Now let's see you try and get out of this, Universe One!"

Man the empress lost her intimidation from her own prisoners. I mean can’t blame that because that was embarrassing that happened to her 😂
