The offensive towards the invaders

Equestria. High above the skies. Afternoon.

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were currently in the air with Pinkie on the back of a Garchomp AKA Mew. Right now, they were searching for spots to help stop the invasion as soon as they could. Their main goal was to just drive the forces away from here. Beating all of them would be impossible to do so if they just keep coming.

While flying through the skies, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie noticed a few familiar and friendly faces in the distance. They were closing in on them. These familiar faces were Princess Luna and Darkrai.

"Princess Luna! Darkrai!" Pinkie Pie cried out.

"Garchomp!"

"Rainbow Dash! Pinkie Pie!" Luna exclaimed as both groups came to a screeching halt. Mew used his Psychic powers to stay afloat since Garchomp can't fully fly. Only soar through the wind thermal like what most Flying-Types do. "Thank goodness you are both alright. And the rest of your friends?"

"We got separated when Zekrom attacked. Mew saved us by using Teleport but he split us up." Rainbow Dash explained. "We're just flying around to stop the rest of this invasion, find our friends and free Discord from stone too. I-If he's already freed anyway."

"I see." Luna nodded. "Then allow us to accompany you along the way. A larger group of us betters the odds anyway."

"Sure does!" Pinkie placed her hoof around Luna and Darkrai. "Let's go! Full speed ahead!"

"Garchomp!" Mew took off like a rocket, soaring through the wind while Rainbow Dash followed.

"Hold on! Up ahead is a whole horde of manticores! At least listen to my plan!" Luna yelled as she and Darkrai flew after them, now adding a new member to this party for assistance.

Out in a lagoon. Afternoon.

The invasion is heating up rapidly. And while many are battling against each other, some were in hiding for safety. Most of Equestria had taken shelter in specific places, but with how things were going, especially with the battle of Reshiram and Zekrom, those shelters may not last. And some may not have found any shelter or a place to hide during all of this chaos.

That is why Starlight, Trixie Goh and Thorax are choosing to help save other ponies, Pokemon, changelings and any other species that may need help while the rest focus on the more physical part of the invasion.

Speaking of which, at a lagoon where many mangrove trees were scattered everywhere along with higher hills, some ponies were actually searching for a place to hide a. However, the troops of the Empress' forces flooded the ground. While the ships mainly governed the skies, the ground was just as populated with these invading forces, especially their vehicles.

The ponies here in the forest were either galloping or flying away, trying to escape from the troops and their aluminium vehicles. The vehicles were mainly those rhino-like ones as they charged through the trees here, destroying them. The troops had one objective. Capture the ponies and other species of their world and detain them or even bring them to their world for conversion to the Empire.

There was also the issue of the aerial robots that could grab anything with their powerful grip. Not only that, but they shot out rays of magic from the spheres in the middle of their robotic bodies. Rays of magic were shot out as they cleaved the trees, causing them to fall. The runaway ponies were being pursued on all fronts by these metallic creations as they still hadn't found somewhere to hide.

The rhino vehicles had used their metallic horn, shooting it out like rockets. The horns had stabbed into some hills, almost catching the ponies and just clipping the mane of a unicorn. One filly was almost struck by the horn as it flew by her face, going through a tree and sticking to the ground. The older sister of the filly had picked her little sister up before galloping off.

The vehicles easily caught up as they even drifted for extra speed. Once they caught up, they had all formed a half-circle position to try and corner the ponies. As for the ponies themselves, they had used the trees as ways to avoid the vehicles.

One unicorn shot down a group of trees to try and create a blockade that could hold the vehicles back a bit. The trees stacked on to each other in a pile, laying before the Empress' forces. Unfortunately, this didn't apply to the aerial robots but it could apply to the vehicles.

Until the vehicles just smash through them. Which they did. Right through with the identical speed of a rhino, the troops inside the Rhino-like vehicles casually broke through the pile of trees like they were nothing, continuing to pursue their targets.

"This way!" A pegasus said as he had found a spot just behind a large cluster of shrubs and beyond. It wasn't too far from here and if they hurry, they could lose the vehicles and enter that spot. He flipped his hoof, guiding the ponies in this direction. However, the moment he found that sacred spot, the aerial robots found the opportunity to strike while he was looking at the ponies.

And they did so in this way. Instead of just focusing on a select few of them, the aerial robots chose to aim their focus on one single pony. That would make taking one of them down easier as in unison, the aerial robots shot out rays of magic from their eyes, only going for the pegasus.

The pegasus, while flying towards the discovered spot, had then turned around to witness multiple rays coming towards him only instead of the others. "Oh!" He gasped, trying to find a quick way to avoid these rays.

But he couldn't. There were too many of them. Thus, he had been shot out of the sky by the multiple rays, being struck by every single one of them. The pegasus cried out as he fell, entering a fainted state. Luckily, a large earth pony managed to catch the pegasus on her back, saving him from hitting the ground.

The machines then backed the ponies into a corner near a hill, finally catching up to them. The ponies couldn't reach that hiding spot now because of the circumstances. The half-circle position of the vehicles mainly caused the ponies to be backed into this corner as they came to a screeching halt.

The ponies all stood there, anxious and aghast. Their hooves were getting cold as they were already sore from all this running they've been doing. The aerial machines already had their claws ready to snatch them all. The claws were so large, they could probably hold as many ponies as they wanted to. And if the ponies resisted, the horn and magic rays from the vehicles and the robots. They stayed close to each other, waiting for the worst to come. Until...

"Hatterene! Psycho Cut!"

"Hatte!" From the rest of the shrubs, blades formed by psychic power came flying out as they tore through the aerial robots, cutting and tearing them in half. The ponies and the troops inside of the vehicles looked up to see these pink blades of Psychic energy take out the robots as that wasn't the only thing that would come this way.

"Use Pyro Ball, Cinderace!"

"Cinder!" Right next to those blades, a ball of fire came zooming through, hitting one of the rhino vehicles. The troop inside had his vehicle take major damage from Pyro Ball as it was on the verge of blowing up.

"Misdreavus, use Zap Cannon!"

"Drea!" And following the Pyro Ball was another ball, this time in the form of electricity. This electric ball hit one of the vehicles, using its reactive electricity to meddle with the vehicle as the electricity had spread out, catching the other vehicles in a chain reaction.

The rhino vehicles had been short-circuited or went through overdrive because of Zap Cannon as the aerial robots were torn apart by Psycho Cut. It was then revealed to the ponies that atop the hill they had been backed into, the ones responsible for saving them were Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and Goh. Plus the addition of Thorax and his Zorua.

"Here!" Starlight called out to the ponies, telling them to follow her. She had found that spot the pegasus originally found. But this time, the Empress' forces couldn't follow them thanks to the Pokemon.

The troops within the vehicles jumped out to try and catch the ponies by foot instead. They galloped away as the vehicles had blown up either way after being attacked by those attacks seconds ago.

"After them!" A troop exclaimed as they each held out those electric staffs with 20,000 volts behind them. They were prepared to just shock their prey instead.

"Hypnosis!" Both Starlight and Trixie ordered.

"Hatterene..."

"Misdrea..."

Both Hatterene and Misdreavus widened their already widened eyes as they stared right into the eyes of the Empress's forces. The troops couldn't help but suddenly stop their own eyes stayed wide open as purple and blue hypnotic spirals came out of the Silent Pokemon and Screech Pokemon.

And just like that, the troops had fallen prey to Hypnosis as they were ordered to be put to sleep by the two Pokemon of the two trainers. They dropped to the ground, either lying flat on their faces, to the side, on their backs, or on top or next to each other.

"Yes!" Starlight and Trixie gave each other a high-hoof after successfully stopping their opponents. But they couldn't celebrate now. More troops were bound to come this way. After stopping this group, they all went over the secluded spot. Right near the shrubs, a tunnel could be found. Everyone had gone through that tunnel as it had then led them all to a cave, where they promptly stopped for a while.

"Thank you so much!" One unicorn thanked Starlight and her friends by rapidly shaking Starlight's hoof with hers.

"N-No problem!" Starlight stammered after having her hoof shaken so rapidly. "Here, go through this gateway." Starlight then took out a Travel Sphere she had stolen from a troop, using it to open up a gateway as it responded to her mind. The gateway had then opened up behind everyone. "This'll lead you to Castelia City. Hide in there until this all over.

"Okay!" The unicorn thanked Starlight as she went over to the gateway, passing through it along with others. The rest of the ponies thanked Starlight as they had left this world, entering Castelia City.

"That's like 3 groups down already. And here I was worried." Goh spoke before laughing.

"Yeah." Thorax also laughed but he was more nervous with his.

"As long as I'm not taking on any giant enemy robot squids, alicorns, dragons or whatever crazy super-sized thing there is, the Great and Powerful Trixie is fine with this." Trixie nodded. "Where to next?"

"Well...I thought about what Pinkie Pie said and...I think we should go and help out at my hive." Thorax suggested.

"There's no one to save there, right? If you count Princess Celestia and Passion," said Trixie.

"Well, we'd best go for it anyway. It's not too far from here. We can still run into other ponies that need help while heading to the hive, right?" Starlight nudged Thorax.

"Uh...yeah, yeah, right. That's true." Thorax nodded in agreement. "But how do you think they're gonna react to me returning since I sorta betrayed them? I mean, Pinkie said that they'd forgive me but I'm not so sure."

"Ah, I know how you feel." Starlight grinned. "No need to worry. I'll vouch for you if it comes down to it. Now come on. Let's all hurry."

The Changeling Hive. Afternoon.

Speaking of the hive, over at the healing cocoon, Celestia's healing time was coming to an end. And to show this, the cocoon started wrapping around Celestia's body like a bug would for their own cocoon.

"W-What's going on?" Celestia looked around.

"The healing process is finishing up," Chrysalis explained. "Just stay still and calm. Your full recovery is coming."

"Alright." Celestia closed her eyes as the cocoon kept wrapping around her with multiple layers. Eventually, it wrapped around her so many times that Celestia's body was hidden behind nothing but green silk.

To finish the healing process, the whole cocoon flashed a vibrant green before withering away. Once the silk withered away, the cocoon had been broken down until the smallest silk was left. And out of the light, Celestia emerged as she opened her eyes while sitting up.

The alicorn breathed in and out as she felt herself feeling good as new. The healing had worked and thanks to the 100 alicorn magical essences given to her via the Magic Siphoning Jar, the process was quicker than expected. The Ruler of Equestria then let out a soft smile after being healed.

"Oh. Much better. Thank you, Chrysalis." Celestia got off the cocoon as stretched her hooves. Her body was crackling golden electricity due to all of the magic flowing within her. "And Passion?"

"Passion will still need until the end of the day to fully recover. I'm afraid alicorn magic won't enter her. And to heal a Pokemon is something new for our healing cocoons." Chrysalis replied. "But, that's why we have the Fairy-Type Pokemon after all."

"Hm..." The Sun Princess then gazed over at Passion before feeling the essence of 100 alicorns in her. That's when Celestia had an idea sprout up in her head. "The Empress. Every spell she does is extravagant because of the many alicorn magical essences within her or is it just her natural magic?"

"Hm?" Adagio turned to Celestia. "No way it's natural. Her spells are way better because of how much magic she has in her. She wouldn't be able to use that Gravity Spell as much as she wanted to if she didn't have a bunch of it."

"The Gravity Spell does seem to be the one that takes the most out of her from what we've seen when were allies with her. Other spells do the same but not to that extent." Chrysalis nodded as she and Adagio had confirmed Celestia's theory.

"Then if that's the case..." Celestia squinched her eyes, knowing what she could do. She had her own healing spell. Across every universe, the healing spell is very common. It isn't exclusive anywhere because of how mandatory it is.

Celestia had used her magic, and once again, because of the essence of 100 alicorns, her magic shined a remarkably bright and stellar cosmic and golden light that was blinding to the eyes. Chrysalis, Adagio and everyone inside closed their eyes after witnessing this light.

However this time, Celestia could manage this overwhelming power a bit. All she had to do was maintain her cool and balance. With her years of experience, she could perform this without any issue. After taking a deep breath, the alicorn then cast a healing spell over her partner.

The cosmic and solar golden light glazed Passion all over, granting the Embrace Pokemon a benediction of healing properties she wouldn't even get a Pokemon Center. The stardust from Celestia's magic started flowing across the hive once more, but this time, they collectively ringed over the Psychic-Fairy-Type before flowing into her.

From within her own mind, Passion could feel a whole week's worth of healing embellish her. The Infinity Energy within her was being recovered along with the essence of Celestia she holds ever since they became Celestial-Gardevoir. In her mind and out of her mind, the stellar healing worked as Passion's eye opened.

"Gardevoir..." The Embrace Pokemon blinked slowly before looking to the ceiling of the hive. That wasn't all she was looking up at. Right next to her was the face of her beloved Trainer Celestia.

"Afternoon, Passion," Celestia said.

"Gardevoir!" Overjoyed to see her Trainer, Passion immediately levitated off the cocoon before hugging Celestia. She even lifted the alicorn off the ground. "Garde! Gardevoir!"

"Oh!" Celestia's pupils expanded as she giggled. "I'm happy to see you looking better as well!"

"Arcanine!" Arcanine couldn't help himself from joining in. He was happy to see that they were both feeling better. He then pounced on both Celestia and Passion, pinning the duo onto the ground. "Canine! Arca!"

"You two! I'm having trouble breathing here!" Celestia laughed before puffing her cheeks, realizing that she was being squished by her Pokemon.

"Well, seems like that jar plan of yours worked, didn't it?" Chrysalis said.

"Mm." Adagio nodded with confidence before flipping her mane. "I knew it would anyway. Out of my sisters, I'm the brains after all."

"Now then." Celestia stood up as her Pokemon separated from her, allowing her to breathe. "We're all looking better now. This invasion isn't over yet. But, I believe if there was a time to put an end to this, now would be that time."

"Now?" Chrysalis and Adagio both said.

"Two things. One, the Empress is weaker than ever this time. All of the magic leaving her body has left her drained all over. And second, to rescue Pyrestar. She's still there and I can't leave her behind. We'll make it a Full Frontal Attack along with a rescue too."

"Full frontal? Just a head-on attack like that?" Chrysalis pulled back.

"Right. It's about time we went on the offensive, wouldn't you agree?" Celestia smiled while a cosmic and golden aura crackled around her body.

"I suppose so. I mean, you look like you can take on as many forces as you can with all of that magic? Or is that just me getting my hopes up?" Chrysalis chuckled.

"Maybe." Celestia laughed back. "But, we'll see. I want to rescue my friend and put an end to this. So that everything we know and love return to peace. We'll need to do a lot of cleaning up after this too."

"Then I'll prepare all of my changelings for this full-frontal attack. If we're lucky, we can probably take the rest of the magic from the Empress. Right, Adagio?"

"Oh, I'm already ahead of you." Adagio grinned before rubbing the jar with malicious yet good intent.

"Hold on." Chrysalis took out her Xtransceiver for a moment. She had faith and hope in the one individual who could help stop this invasion once and for all. And a very good friend of hers. Ash. She selected his Trainer number to see if he was there. "I'll see if Ash can assist us over at her world."

"Gee...you really put your faith in him, huh?" Adagio raised an eyebrow.

"But of course. I have so much to thank him for after all." Chrysalis smiled as the Xtransceiver rang. And after 10 seconds, the one she wanted to see had responded.

"Chrysalis?"

"Ash! Splendid to see you again! Are you alright?" Where are you?

"I'm fine. But I took a pretty nasty beating when I was up against Team Plasma and Ghetsis."

"Pikachu!"

"You went up against Ghetsis?! Did you win?!" Celestia and Chrysalis both gasped.

"It ended up being a draw. Our Auras both backfired on us and everything. I just got done healing up and I'm ready to jump back in and help. Isn't that right, guys?"

"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu and the rest of Ash's Pokemon cried out. They had been healed up to the max and were ready to get back into the heart of things.

"Well, it's good to know you're constantly on the move Ash. Right now, we're planning on ending this invasion for good. By heading for the Empress' world. I also need to rescue Pyrestar as well." Celestia explained.

"Gotcha." Ash nodded. "We'll join you there. Mind if I get a head start?"

"I'd say wait for a bit. We'll need some time for our proper full-on attack. But, I do know you love to rush your opponents, don't you?" Celestia smiled.

"You bet!"

"Just give us some time, Ash. We'll meet up at Canterlot, alright?" Celestia said.

"Right!" Ash gave a thumbs up. "I'll clear out more of the invaders along the way. See you soon!"

"Pika!" And with that, Chrysalis ended the call before placing the Xtransceiver in her bag.

"Is it safe to say my confidence has been skyrocketed?" Chrysalis turned to Celestia.

"It already was when we took that magic, obviously." Adagio nudged Chrysalis playfully.

"Hm." Celestia giggled before morphing her face into one of seriousness. "Right. Let's put an end to this once and for all."

Las Pegasus.

Reshiram and Zekrom's battle continues. Reshiram tried to end the battle early but Zekrom's rampaging instinct prolonged it even further. Their battle moved across the skies with flames and lightning shining in the sky. Eventually, they arrived at Las Pegasus with Zekrom holding Reshiram's face from behind and slamming the Vast White Pokemon into the ground.

A massive crater was formed as a huge ground tsunami spread out in a radius shape. The beautiful and fancy buildings of Las Pegasus were not safe from this, especially the two forces battling it out.

Both Celestia and Empress Twilight's forces ran away from the approaching ground tsunami and two giant dragons. The robots had been crushed by Zekrom slamming Reshiram on the ground while some were caught in the tsunami along with troops.

Zekrom then tossed Reshiram away, sending the Dragon of Truth through several buildings, obliterating the beautiful exterior, ruining the interior and the amazing games that could be played within them. All that money. Gone.

Reshiram had hoped to avoid any destruction, but that wasn't happening anymore. He would have to lay aggressively if he wanted to stop Zekrom's rampage. The Vast White Pokemon then recovered before hitting the last building behind him. Reshiram then roared as Zekrom before charging up a Fusion Flare.

In response, the Dragon of Ideals used Hyper Beam. Both dragons had devastating attacks coming out of their mouths. One a signature move and the other just a common yet highly destructive attack.

The forces on both sides quickly realized that they were in the worst possible spot for this battle as they started galloping away as fast as they could. Even the ships in the sky were turning around to try and avoid this.

But it was too late. In unison, Fusion Flare and Hyper Beam were shot out of the mouths of the Twin Dragons. With one ear-piercing sound and one mighty shockwave, the two moves went flying, melting and tearing the ground.

Upon collision, there wasn't a struggle between them both. They blew up against each other immediately, generating a gale of explosive fury. But that explosive fury was enough to eclipse most of Las Pegasus. Which it did. The explosion blew both Reshiram and Zekrom back, while also spreading out so far that even the ships in the sky had been hit.

The forces on both sides had been blown back by the collision of those moves. Even taking cover didn't protect them from the shockwaves. Reshiram and Zekrom both went flying from the collision. But immediately, they had recovered like it was nothing.

By flapping their wings, the two Dragons approached each other once more. Reshiram with Giga Impact and Zekrom with Bolt Strike. With that instant recovery, they smashed into each other by butting heads. The Dragons of Truth and Ideals stared each other in the face while Las Pegasus was being demolished. None of them won the head struggle as they separated from each other. Reshiram then went for a Dragon Claw. And so did Zekrom.

Their claws met with each other, causing a paroxysm of shockwaves to spread out, shattering the armour and metal of both forces with ease. The forces fled Las Pegasus as quickly as they could and so did the ponies within the shelter. Their fancy shelter wouldn't protect them from this forever.

Reshiram and Zekrom roared at each other before going for another Dragon Claw swing. Their battle was seemingly far from over.

Saddle Lake.

Meanwhile, the residents of Ponyville had left their hometown to hide somewhere else. Their shelter was essentially useless thanks to the battle between the two Dragons. Currently, they were discussing where to go next during this invasion. Most were saying Canterlot.

Whilst walking through Saddle Lake, the residents, plus Team Rocket and Zecora had come across something in the distance. One of the ships that belonged to the Empress' side. They all promptly stopped after witnessing the ship, believing that they could be caught.

"No matter where we go, this blows!" Roseluck groaned.

"Maybe if we just dig underground or have a Ghost-Type possess us all, they won't notice...right?" Silver Spoon suggested while gulping.

"Unless they've got robot worms...!" Snips and Snails said, giving out possibly a worse outcome. But it wasn't like they were thinking too farfetched. The Empress' forces did have coverage for the sky, land and sea after all, so it was a possibility.

"Hold on a second..." James noticed something peculiar as he quietly crept forward.

"James...!" Jessie and Meowth whispered with a yell added in. They thought James was being ridiculous by approaching the ships. But he knew something was up. Especially with how the ship was just on the ground and not in the air. Usually, they're able to send troops out from the air. Not usually the ground.

Everypony shuddered, hoping that James wouldn't alert the potential soldiers near the ships. However, if there were soldiers here, they would've arrived at Ponyville by now or at least, their ship would've been seen even in the far distance considering how large it was.

"Aha!" James quickly figured out what was off. When he arrived at the scene, he found that multiple ships had been levelled with many troops knocked unconscious and their armour melted off. "Coast is clear!"

"It is?" Everypony said as they slid over. "Oooh..."

"Looks like someone already took care of them." James picked up a melted piece of armour. "Torched all of these forces in no time."

"Oh! Is that what Reshiram meant? Did Reshiram do this?!" Apple Bloom gasped.

"Reshiram's so cool!" Scootaloo squeed.

"Well, had us worried for nothing." Jessie sighed. "Let's keep going. I don't want-"

"Wait a minute." James looked at one ship on the right. He noticed that this one single ship was actually still able to function, unlike the rest which had been levelled by Reshiram. "That one's still working. Methinks an idea has sprouted up."

"Idea?" Meowth said.

"What are you planning...?" Jessie raised an eyebrow.

"Why are we even hiding from this invasion anyway?" James turned to face everyone. "Don't we have the necessary Pokemon to handle this? All that training didn't go to waste did it?"

"Well no not really." A pony said.

"I'm totally not scared." Another spoke.

"Well, I didn't really train that much..."

"He's got a point."

"Uh..." James put on a poker face after hearing their responses. "Ah, it's fine. Besides, I think we, Team Rocket, can chime in and help stop this invasion too."

"Us?" Jessie and Meowth pointed at each other.

"Didn't stop us from helping the twerp out in the past in situations like this didn't it?" He gave out a cocky smile.

"Hm." Then, Jessie and Meowth looked at each other before nodding in unison. "Good point. We'll show those invading forces what Team Rocket can do!"

"Wait...How exactly? Ships are kinda new to us? Especially invading ones." Jessie asked.

"Not to me. Remember? Mommy and Daddy brought me a rocket ship when I was younger." James crossed his arm before facing the functioning ship. "I was born for this."

"You know...We could totally help. I mean, I didn't become a Gym Leader for nothing." Roseluck spoke as other ponies started chattering after what she said. "We do have the Pokemon by our side...And we did train with Ash to get stronger, didn't we?"

"Yeah..." The CMC nodded in agreement.

"This invasion could spread out beyond just Equestria and eventually the world soon," Zecora said. "I have friends back home elsewhere that I wish to protect too." Zecora herself was also willing to assist in stopping this invasion as she went up to James and Team Rocket.

"Mayor Mare's already out there doing her own thing to find Big Mac. And Cold too...I kinda wanna look cool saving the world..." Scootaloo bit her hoof. "I wanna help too!"

"Ah. If the kids are going, then they need protection immediately." Cherilee stepped forward. Very soon, everypony was starting to come on board with protecting this world from the invasion. All of them had their own reasons.

"I wanna become Champion in the Equestria League someday. And I can't be a coward if that's the case!"

"No way! I'm gonna be Champion!"

"I've got friends I want to protect too, ya know!"

"Yeah! Not all of them are here from Ponyville!"

"Can't let Twilight steal all the spotlight." Amethyst Star bit her hoof in constant jealousy of Twilight Sparkle ever since the day she came to Ponyville.

"Well, I kinda wanna just see some more epic fights like that Dragon one." Again. Their own reasons. Some less serious than others. But either way, they were all in agreement to protect their home. And it's all thanks to James.

"Excellent." James tightened his gloves. "Just watch. I'll command this ship as if I own the skies themselves! Everyone onboard!"

"Hold on. These ships were made for ponies. Are you sure you can control it?" Jessie asked.

"Positive." James was 100% sure of his abilities. Didn't matter what ship it was or what species it was made for, he was ready to steer and control it one way or another.

Team Rocket and Ponyville were now on board to stop the invasion.

Kingdra Durance.

Meanwhile, over at Kingdra Durance, with the arrival of some of the teachers from the Pokemon School, the odds were changing yet again. There was a constant back and forth with this invasion overall.

The main goal was to break those metal wires around the battleships and Robotic Sea Serpents with legs. If those aren't destroyed, then any electricity will just be blocked out by them.

"Just destroy the wires, right?" Applejack said to Twilight while the battle between both sides continued. Magic rays and spheres were being thrown everywhere while the Pokemon combat the Sea Serpents.

"Yes. Then everything should be fine." Twilight responded before facing the many Golurk and the soldiers. "You can try Golurk's Thunder Punch on the water once the wires are gone. Then they'll definitely fall."

"What about up there?" Fluttershy pointed her hoof at the ships in the air.

"Leave that to me." Spike pointed at himself while holding out Salamence's Poke Ball.

"Pheromosa can easily shatter those wires." Rarity spoke. "Milotic can handle the water as well if I may add."

"And so can all of my Pokemon too." Brawly chimed in with his own words. "Oh and Roxie's Garbordor with Focus Blast."

"Pssh! All we need is one move, easy!" Roxie cackled.

"And once those wires are down, I'll have my Probopass smush those ships together with his magnetism. And I suppose Earth Power can work on the enemies on land as well."

"Houndoom can melt those wires, no problem," Hollow spoke. "Not even water can withstand the heat of a Houndoom's flames. Isn't that right, boy?"

"Houndoom!"

"Okay. We all know our roles. Some extra help won't hurt" Twilight held three Poke Balls out with her magic, sending out Absol, Ninetales and Cinccino. "

Spike sent out Salamence as he hopped onto the back of the Dragon Pokemon. And speaking of which, the older Spike was already playing his part. The adult Spike was going up against the Robotic Sea Serpents, breaking green flames down on them. The serpents used their anatomy to slither across the ground, retracting their legs for better momentum.

The serpents evaded Spike's flames by slithering across the sand. One of the serpents even lunged towards Spike, opening its mouth and biting onto the adult dragon's neck. Spike roared as he was pinned to the ground by the robot's metallic teeth sinking into him.

The serpent then wrapped its long body around the adult dragon, coiling him all around with its impressive length. At the same time, the battleships were obtaining the advantage since they were practically untouchable in the water. At least for now.

"Scorbunny!" Along came Scorbunny, using High Jump Kick on the serpent that held the adult Spike, striking the metal wires. The Rabbit Pokemon managed to break some parts of the wires, but since he was still a fairly weak Pokemon, he only broke a little. That's when the serpent retaliated by using the edge of its tail to whack Scorbunny away, sending the Fire-Type flying. "Scor!"

"Heracross, Close Combat!" Brawly ordered.

"Hera!" His Heracross fluttered its wings about, zooming towards the serpent around Spike. However, other serpents got in the way of Heracross, blocking the Single Horn Pokemon from getting any further. "Cross!" Heracross swung his horn towards the serpents to try and get them out of the way. And in retaliation, the serpents swung their sharp tails.

The serpents were enough to clash with Heracross but they took the risk of damaging their wires considering just how powerful a Heracross' horn was. Heracross attempted to block two tails but had been pushed back by the serpents, unable to perform that task at the moment.

Luckily, Heracross had allies by its side. Along came Sceptile, using his vines to wrap them around the serpents that stood before Heracross. The vines had temporarily restraint the robots, allowing Heracross to continue its attack. The Single Horn Pokemon rushed in with Close Combat, using not only his horn but his arms now.

Heracross smashed apart the protective wires that were around the serpents as the Robotic Sea Serpents couldn't do anything to fight back but instead just take the hits while Heracross held them in place. Afterwards, Heracross had destroyed enough of the wires to leave vulnerable spots.

That prompted the Golurk to move in. Two Golurk had flown towards the Robotic Sea Serpents, using Thunder Punch on their vulnerable sports that were exempt from the metal wiring. With one straight hook from the Automaton Pokemon, the serpents had been electrocuted, frying their circuits as Heracross advanced towards the serpent that was holding Spike.

However, Heracross had been promptly stopped along with Sceptile and the Golurk by some incoming magic spheres. The sphere blew up right in front of Heracross, blowing the Bug-Fighting-Type while also hitting the Golurk directly. Heracross tumbled on the floor while the Golurk were forced back.

Sceptile himself used the vines to move away, avoiding the incoming spheres that were shot his way. Spike was still being held by the serpent as he breathed fire in the air, trying to break free. Unfortunately, his head was in the wrong position for this and it looked like he would stay like this forever.

Until Ninetales came along with a move that could deal with this problem. Without having to get up close. HE used Mystical Fire, opening his mouth before unleashing a spiralling red flame with magical properties within it. The flame had struck the body of the serpent, melting away the wire upon contact.

The serpent had lost some of its wires but Ninetales didn't stop there. He kept unloading the flames onto the serpent's body. Specifically on the spot where the wires were melted off. Mystical Fire was continuously being unloaded on that one spot, melting the aluminium off of the Robotic Sea Serpent. Cinccino chimed in by using Focus Blast. The Scarf Pokemon lobbed a yellow sphere of mental energy that had merged with Mystical Fire, increasing its size and power.

With that combination of attacks, a huge hole had been blown in the serpent, causing it to be greatly weakened. That also allowed the adult Spike to break free as he spread his wings out, knocking the robot off him.

Spike's Axew had transformed into a Haxorus with Deino receiving a piggyback ride from the Axe Jaw Pokemon. Haxorus roared as he swatted away the Empress' forces like flies with his superior strength. But the serpents and the ships were still the major problems here. A serpent went over to Haxorus, trying to bite into him like the other did to the adult Spike.

Haxorus quickly grabbed the teeth of the serpents while being pushed back by the robots impressive speed for something made out of metal and almost as big as the battleships. Speaking of the battleships, more and more were approaching from the gateways on the sea as the number of magic rays was increasing. Celestia's side was feeling the pressure from these ludicrous numbers as they didn't have any gateway arrivals themselves aside from the teachers. But the rest of the teachers were out there elsewhere instead of just one spot.

"We ain't gonna do too much against all that metal with how we are." Applejack said as she held her hat. "How's about Mega Evolution, Sceptile?"

"Tile!" Sceptile agreed as he would like a Mega Evolution at the moment. If it meant getting the job done quicker. Fluttershy looked to Applejack before staring at her own Mega Ring. Mega evolving Audino would benefit them in this for sure.

"Mega Evolution sounds good to me!" Twilight said as she used her magic to push away an incoming troop. All at once, the ponies who had access to Mega Evolution were ready to evolve their Pokemon even further. Rarity sent out her Ampharos just to fit that mould.

Hollow himself had Mega Evolution as well. All for his Houndoom as there would now be a total of five Mega Pokemon. And technically six since Spike could count. But right now, Spike was in the air, not utilizing Mega Evolution at the moment.

In unison, Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Hollow all initiated Mega Evolution by tapping the Mega Stones of their accessories. Afterwards, golden lights came flying out of their stones before the Pokemon themselves were shooting out red lights.

Both lights made a DNA symbol before laminating the Pokemon in the unified light. All of their eyes flashed at once with the Mega Evolution symbol revealing itself. And bursting out of the lights were their Mega Evolved forms.

Mega Absol, Sceptile, Ampharos, Audino and Houndoom. This was the needed upgrade in strength that Celestia's forces required. Especially Houndoom, considering how amped their fire becomes when Mega Evolving.

"Houndoom!" Houndroom roared as flames ignited from his body. This wasn't just the cause of Mega Evolution powering him up. It was also Mega Houndoom's ability, Solar Power. Under harsh sunlight, all Fire-Type moves are boosted but at the cost of some healthy energy. And since it was summer, what better time for the sun to be hotter than ever.

"Oh. They're using Mega Evolution?" Spike looked down, noticing his friends' change forms while Salamence avoided a magic ray, breathing Flamethrower onto the ships. "Then, in that case, let's do the same, Salamence."

"Sala!"

Absol and the others advanced. Except for Audino and Houndoom who chose to stay back and support their teammates. Audino and Houndoom both used Hyper Beam and Flamethrower. One from hands and the other, straight from the mouth.

Hyper Beam engulfed some of the mechanical constructs, blowing multiple parts of their wiring and metal parts off while Houndoom's flames absolutely obliterated the serpents. Just one hit from Houndoom's ridiculous flames and that was it.

The Empress' forces could see that Houndoom was a huge threat, so they turned their focus towards the Darkness Pokemon. Aerial machines came flying out of the ships, aiming for Mega Houndoom by unleashing silver beams from their eyes. Along came Probopass to act as a shield for Houndoom. By using its steel body, the Compass Pokemon protected the Darkness Pokemon whilst only taking slight damage. Afterwards, Probopass used its magnetism on the aerial machines, disrupting their functions and smashing them together.

"We'll need greater heat...Everyone!" Twilight called out for her allies and friends. "Focus your Fire-Type attacks on Ninetales! His Flash Fire will take it all!"

"Tales! Ninetales!" Ninetailes nodded in agreement. He needed the boost in power anyway. Houndoom, Scorbunny and the Golurk that had some Fire-Type moves in store all turned to face the Fox Pokemon.

Ninetales was already stronger thanks to the summer sun, but with his ability Flash Fire, any Fire-Type move that comes his way will boost him even further. Understanding Ninetales' choice, the Darkness Pokemon used Flamethrower to breathe fire on the Fox Pokemon while everyone else used other moves.

The Golurk used Fire Punch respectively, hitting the Fire-Type. But their punches did nothing to him. After Mega Evolving, Spike's Salamece had also used his own Flamethrower by descending and avoiding the rays, sending them to Ninetales.

Ninetales' body immediately absorbed the flames from Houndoom as his body illuminated a scarlet colour while all nine of his tails stood up. With a loud howl, Ninetales had stronger Fire-Type moves than ever. As if he already didn't.

"Okay, Ninetales! Mystical Fire!" Twilight shouted at the top of her lungs.

"NINETALES!" Stronger than ever, Ninetales opened his mouth, summoning a giant spiralling flame so large and insanely hot that its size could be compared to Reshiram's Fusion Flare and the heat of it was equal to that of a Macargo and Camerupt. Hotter than the sun itself.

Melting even the sand itself, Ninetales' Mystical Fire burned and engulfed anything it came in contact with. Some of the serpents turned around to see a giant flame heading their way. It was so large that not even they could evade it with their speed.

Thus, their wires were melted off along with the aluminium parts of their body. Unfortunately, they weren't equipped to deal with something solar-powered. Thus, Ninetales' stream of flames continued forward, going straight for the ships as it even boiled the water itself. Unfortunately, reaching the ships wasn't so easy as they put up magical coating shields for protection.

And that was the end of Ninetales' incredible flame. But he was still powered up. It's not like Flash Fire just runs out when a powerful attack is used.

"Hoho!" Brawly and the others gawked at the large path that Mystical Fire made. "That's some power!"

"That heat is probably around 18,000 degrees!" Roxanne's jaw dropped. "Amazing! I might have to spread that information out to future Pokemon Trainers."

"Wonderful but...those battleships are still an issue. And the ones above?" Rarity looked up.

"I got it!" Spike yelled as his Salamence was flying straight towards the ships in his Mega Evolved state. By using the sharp wings that Salamence had in this form, Salamence had cut the cannons off of the ships by flying underneath, rendering their main weapons useless. That is until they used the electric field. But this time, Salamence was ready for the fields as he descended, avoiding them before they could activate.

"Perhaps our attacks might not reach those battleships...Unless..." Roxanne thought for a moment. "Probopass! That one ship is vulnerable! Use it to smash it on the ships!

"Bopass!" The Compass Pokemon looked to the ship that Spike had rendered useless without its cannon, manipulating it with its magnetism. Now under the hold of Probopass, the ship was manually sent towards the other ships, smashing them pieces of travelling metal against each other and startling the troops inside. Probopass was also aiming for the battleships too.

Just then, Twilight received a telepathic message from Princess Celestia herself. Only her though. Alicorn exclusive after all.

"Twilight!"

"Princess Celestia? You're awake!"

"And better than ever. I'm still at the hive. Listen. We're about to launch a full-on attack on the Empress' world and rescue Pyrestar in the process. I've already informed Luna and Ash will be on his way to join us. What say you?"

"Well, we were actually planning on heading there to save the other versions of my friends." Twilight ducked as an explosion of magic happened near while the sound of Ampharos shooting lightning could be heard. "Turns out that the Empress is using the Elements of Harmony against their will in her world."

"What?!"

Sceptile and Ampharos both used Dragon Pulse while Absol was sent flying back. The Disaster Pokemon then used Counter, returning the favour to the serpent that attacked him.

"It's not pleasant...It's how she was able to turn Discord into stone. And the Cadence and Shining Armor in that world too".

"Well...that will prove to be an issue. Very well then. We'll meet up at Canterlot and advance there. Take care of yourself, Twilight."

"I will. Thank you, Princess!" Twilight gave out a soft smile before the telepathic communication ended. "We need to go now!"

"Why?" Applejack turned to Twilight while Houndoom melted the ground below, leaving a huge hole that some troops ended up falling into.

"Princess Celestia's launching one big head-on attack towards the Empress' world. This is our chance to save your other-selves!"

"But what about here?" Fluttershy asked. "We haven't cleared everything here at all."

"You all can go." Brawly suddenly responded to them. "The rest of us teachers can deal with this, no problem."

"If you have to save someone you should take that opportunity immediately." Roxanne turned to the ponies.

"Just zip off and save them, okay?" Hollow smiled.

"And don't forget to look cool while doing it!" Roxie cackled while her Garbodor sat on some troops, squishing them with its size.

"Garbodor!"

"Oh...T-Thank you all so much!" Twilight gave her immediate thanks by bowing to the teachers. She was truly grateful for all of their help as everyone else gave their thanks. "Absol! Everyone! Let's go!"

"Absol!" Absol and the rest of Twilight's Pokemon heard the alert. They got in one quick attack with Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast and Mystical Fire before eventually running back to their trainer.

While Twilight and everyone were making their way towards Canterlot, the teachers would be left to deal with the forces here in Kingdra Durance alongside the Canterlot forces.

Celestia was finally going on the offensive. Straight towards enemy territory. She wanted to save her friend while possibly putting an end to this invasion. At the same time, Starlight and her group were also heading for the hive, unaware of what the changelings were all about to be a part of.

And elsewhere, James was currently in command of a ship from the Empress' forces. And to be flashy, he and Team Rocket plastered a giant Team Rocket symbol on the ship. Just for show.

And of course, Reshiram and Zekrom were still battling it out across Equestria. The boiling point was rising. This invasion is about to enter its make or break scenario for both sides as the journey continues.
