//------------------------------// // Jenny! Oh Jenny! Joy! Oh, Joy! // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Kalos. Geosenge Town. Afternoon. Out in Geosenge Town, Officer Jenny was on patrol as always. But this time, she had something bigger to focus on than just common issues around her. She would still handle them, but there was a bigger threat at large. Yveltal. "This is the only place in Kalos that has something important related to Yveltal." Officer Jenny stopped by the massive encircled stones that were strange ruins of old. After it was revealed that the vampires of the Dread League planned to spread Yveltal's destructive power over not just Equestria and the whole world but also the Pokemon World, it became the duty of the law to protect their world. Officer Jenny and others across every other region had been passed this information down by the massive police force. Princess Celestia had connections to important organizations. All thanks to BigTime Ben's collaboration and the Ranger Union. They even had a board that had a marker drawing of the Box of 100 Demons, so they were catching up already. As for the massive stones, these were connected to Mega Evolution. And Mega Evolution was also connected to both Xereans and Yveltal. Due to that one part about Yveltal, it was a prime target. While it wouldn't track down Yveltal, it was still an important object for the vampires as Officer Jenny drove away. Over at the Geosenge Town Police Station, the officers were all going through a debrief about the Dread League and their goal for Yveltal. They went over how could they could spot a vampire and what to do about the stones before things could get out of hand quickly. But these stones were still fairly important to Geosenge and Kalos' history. To be better adjusted to the other world and the crimes that would come here, the police of the Pokemon World were given Travel Spheres, which were still around. These were new ones as on them, there was a label that mentioned the Ranger Union, the ones responsible for making these new spheres. Kalos has been the region where the Dread League appear the most and thus, they would be heading here more than anywhere else. "I've seen sightings of ponies around Kalos recently." Officer Jenny started thinking to herself while heading inside. She thought back to how ponies were popping up recently, however she didn't want to jump to conclusions and accuse other ponies of being vampires. "Usually, the fang of a vampire is easy to spot, but not all of them have fangs apparently. I've been focused on working even at Nightfall. No matter what night it may be, I'll wait for them." This town's Jenny focuses on the night. The best time to see vampires. News about the Dread League and Yveltal have been recent once their goal spread past one world. It wasn't too late to try and find them even if it was a few months late. Time had passed. Everyone went on with their day. And it was another night for Jenny to stay up late and always be aware. But, this was obviously a detriment to her sleep schedule, especially as an officer. She constantly stayed on her motorbike, having Arcanine in the guest seat which was larger than the driver seat due to Arcanine's size. Staying up even at night for days just to find some vampire ponies was hard on her as she focused on the stone, knowing that it was a potential point of interest. But, Officer Jenny had her limits. She yawned, feeling the urge to sleep. There would be times when she managed to go through the entire night and times when she'd slump over and sleep until the Sun arrived. "Here. Have some coffee." A voice replied to Officer Jenny, holding out some coffee to her. "Thank you..." Jenny uttered before taking the coffee, getting herself a quick sip. She then turned around to see the individual that had done this. It was Geosenge Town's Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy?" "Up late again, Officer Jenny? I've been seeing you moving around town late at night recently. Sharp on the lookout for those sneaky vampires?" "Sneaky is right...I'll get them. I just need a lead and for Arcanine's scent to kick in. If I can keep staying awake. But, how come you don't look tired?" "It's a family tradition for us Nurse Joys to always power through even during the night. That way, every Pokemon can be healed no matter the time." Joy proudly crossed her arms. "Worked for generations. At least for most of us." "Ah. Anyway, since you're up, I suppose you're my extra eyes and ears. I'm more focused on that rock. Legend says that it has some connection to Xerneas and Yveltal." "Oh, right. Aside from coming to give you some coffee, I wanted to tell you about some of the people and Pokemon here. Recently, they've been feeling a bit drained during nightfall. You should come and see this." "Drained?" Pokemon Center. Inside, the Pokemon were all taking a rest here instead of their homes. Blissey was taking care of these Pokemon as their bodies looked pale with their naturally vibrant colours being saturated. There were a lot of trainers during this night shift. "Just yesterday, they were all drained by something. According to the description of the trainers, a lullaby had been played when out on Route 11. Something attacked them there and they just managed to escape." "You stayed up all night and soon this one to recover them. I wish I had that kind of stamina..." Jenny gawked as Joy was proud of herself, proudly putting her hands on her hips and having a bright smile with blushes. "How even?" "Hm-hm-hm!" She let out a sweet and muffled laugh. "We Joy's know how to drink our milk three times a day! Never skip out on a single one!" "Bliss-Bliss!" "I'm not sure that's how milk works for stamina but okay. Where are the trainers then?" Jenny asked. "They're at the local hospital. They were attacked by that same thing as well. I'm afraid that more patients might come along during this nightfall as well if there's something nearby." "It's most definitely the vampires." Jenny already made her mind up. "Route 11 also has some crystals that sprout along the mountain path. But those crystals are nothing compared to the ones right here." "I see. But then...how come they haven't come for the large one yet?" "The police force has been protecting that crystal ever since we caught wind of the Dread League. I doubt they'd risk anything with our numbers. But they would try and go for smaller numbers, such as these Pokemon and their trainers." "Oh, dear!" "I know where I need to be then. I'll meet them at Route 11. Those crystals can still be of some use to them." Officer Jenny would head out to Route 11, expecting to encounter some vampire ponies. "I'm not the only officer awake at this time, so the rest of them will take good care of the stones here." "Oh, wait!" Nurse Joy ran up to her. "You could be drained too. Every other officer is asleep by this time except for you. You and Arcanine might need the healing." "You'll come along?" Jenny turned to Joy. "Of course! Blissey and I need to help others no matter what. Besides, nothing here is draining my Blissey. Even if it does, Blissey can fix that." "Blissey!" "Treatment is always needed." Jenny couldn't argue with that. "Alright then. This is our first time working together. Let's make sure it flows well so that we can stop those vampires. Come on, Arcanine." "Arcanine!" Route 11. A route in western Kalos, connecting to Geosenge Town and Reflection Cave. When arriving here, one can feel the power of the earth's interior from the crystals that sprout along this mountain path. Built on a mountainside and along the path, many clear crystals were scattered everywhere that were all connected to the one in Geosenge Town. And currently, holding these crystals were the figure of two ponies. Their hooves had picked these crystals up as they glowed beautifully in the night. And the ponies holding them indeed had the wings to confirm their species. Vampire ponies. These two ponies were known as Melody Moon and Bittersweet. And alongside them, they had Pokemon of their own thanks to Opal Vivacity's action. Melody had a Mismagius while Bittersweet had a Sigilyph. And sitting right next to them was the Box of 100 Demons. Melody observed the crystals, trying to use her magic in any way to interact with them. However, nothing happened. Her Curse Magic was ineffective on it. "Drat. These crystals are connected to Yveltal, but how are they supposed to give us a lead?" Melody wondered. "They seem useless," Bittersweet said with a low tone, tossing one of the crystals away. "Let's just go after the big ones already. They're just sitting right there." "Hm. The bigger stones are there for us to see, but again, our magic won't do a thing to them. They're essentially bigger versions of these smaller crystals. Unless there was some way we can interact with it, they're just tall rocks that we can look at." "Have you tried singing to it like you usually do to everything?" Bittersweet laid on her back, blowing her mane. "Haha. Singing to a crystal. That's preposterous. It only works on living things. And when Opal and I harmonize, great wonders happen." "Whatever. But we still need to d something about that crystal. You thinking what I'm thinking?" "I am." The two vampires then turned to the Box of 100 Demons. "Surely, there's a demon in here that can sort it out for us. A 100 is a lot, but somehow it still feels like little. Know what I mean?" "Forget that." Bittersweet sat up. "I've got a better suggestion. Just get a demon that can carry the whole thing. You've seen the size of that crystal, right?" "Hmm...Super Strength, basically...Good approach, Bittersweet. You're far more clever during the night than in the day." "No, that's just obvious." "Right then. Let's see who can grab the stones, shall we?" She had then opened the box, preparing to unleash another one of the 100 Demons into this world. A flare of dark magic had burst out of the box, letting out 100 howls. The magic shot into the sky before then unleashing a new demon. A flicker in the fog, a wave of heat, and suddenly they were met with a sickening beast of fury that resembled an ape. Two penetrating eyes stare at them with a bellowing fury. This one had the perfect physique to possess super strength as its eyebrows and fur were on fire for extra danger. "That'll do." Bittersweet nodded. "Now, this could go really well or really bad. Those Pokemon Trainers are something else, you know that?" "I do. That's why I'm going for a second one." "A second one? You mean another demon?" "That's right! One for the stones and the other as a distraction! Now, which one's next?" Melody was aiming to bring out another one as a distraction. But immediately, the Ape Demon sensed life nearby, growling as it turned around, smashing its fists into the ground. "It senses someone nearby," Bittersweet commented. "So do I." "Aye. That light would attract some attention. We'll give the second demon to them." Melody had then brought out the next demon after choosing one. A screech in the black, a burst of fire, and suddenly, entering this world was a rotten figure of terror and dread. Two barren eyes stare at the vampire ponies and the other demon with an overpowering animosity, and another screech rages from its meagre mouth with unimaginable force. Shadowy hair adorns its blubbery head as this time, it resembled a falcon. A large falcon to boot. "You'll grab those stones," Melody ordered the Ape Demon. "And you'll serve as a distraction. I hear they have some officers around here." She then ordered the Falcon Demon. "Bittersweet. Would you like to drain them this time?" "Pass." Bittersweet gave an instant and effective answer. "You do it this time." "My pleasure." The vampires and the demons were off. The Ape Demon ferociously ran off, shaking the trees while the Falcon Demon soared through the skies, leaving behind flaming feathers while also glowing in the night sky. "Arcanine!" Arcanine suddenly stopped in his tracks. The Legendary Pokemon's fur had suddenly rustled while also growling all of a sudden. "Hm? Why did he stop?" Nurse Joy asked. "Trouble." Officer Jenny kneeled, patting Arcanine on the back. "That means someone's nearby. We might be close to the ponies we need to see." "Really? Where?" Joy wondered. "Nine! Arcanine!" Arcanine started barking at the sky, spotting the light that was zooming through it. When they all looked up, they saw that same light. It was the falcon. "Who's that Pokemon...?" Officer Jenny gawked, witnessing the falcon for the first time. "Never seen that one before." Nurse Joy shook her head. Even if she was versatile in Pokemon and how many species there were, she would never think of a demon. As the Falcon Demon soared, it dropped its flaming feathers, specifically on top of Jenny and Joy. The feathers had also dropped faster than an average feather, which would take some time. These ones dropped as if they had the weight of a bowling ball, coming in hot. Figuratively and literally. "Hang on...It's coming this way! Arcanine, Flamethrower!" "Arca...Nine!" Arcanine would fight fire with fire, unleashing a scarlet wave of flames from his mouth, ready to overpower these flames and add them to his own fire. "Sigilyph, Air Slash" But someone had intervened once Arcanine had used Flamethrower on the Flaming Feathers. From the mist that was made by the falcon, blades of air came flying out, blindsiding Arcanine. "Ar!" Arcanine was interrupted as these blades of air had knocked him to the side "Arcanine!" Officer Jenny cried out as Blissey caught Arcanine, preventing him from crashing. However, since Arcanine was interrupted and couldn't stop those flaming feathers, they had made contact. They hit the ground, immediately spreading a flare of flames that latched onto any greenery. The trees and the grass caught on fire as the feathers had not just spread a wildfire, but prior to their spread, they had combusted, only kickstarting the havoc. And moving through the flames, appearing in front of Jenny and Joy while having a barrier of magic around them were Melody Moon and Bittersweet. Alongside their Sigilyph and Mismagius, who had hovered over the flames. "Gotcha." Melody Moon spoke with a devious look on her face which was only complimented by the flames. A further look at her and Jenny had seen the fangs and wings, confirming that vampires were indeed nearby. "Vampires!" Jenny spoke with narrowed eyes as Blissey had dropped Arcanine. "That's funny. The other towns and cities had two people who looked just like you." Bittersweet apparently recognized Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, unaware of the massive family line. "Is there some weird cloning magic going on?" "So you've finally decided to make your move, have you? Think you can get those stones without having to face me?" Jenny replied. "We've waited quite a while for this." Melody shrugged. "But that police force of yours was just a slight problem for us. However, that won't be the case anymore. We'll find out what we can do with those stones, even if it takes a while. Yveltal's out there somewhere and those stones are the key." "But why? Why do this?" Nurse Joy asked. "Getting rid of all life? That's just not right!" "Meh. It's not all doom and gloom," said Bittersweet. "You'll all be reborn as skeletons and live with us. It'd be pretty neat to have skeleton humans and Pokemon for once. That'll be new." "But, you're in our way. We've been slow on progress when it comes to finding Yveltal. Whether it's by how scarce it is or others trying to stop us." "Tough. Because I'll be taking you in." Officer Jenny declared. "You're all under arrest. You and your Pokemon." "Under arrest? Pah. What about that falcon then? How are you going to arrest that?" Melody taunted. "She's right, Jenny! That falcon looked like it was going in the direction of the town!" Nurse Joy pointed out as the Falcon Demon was destructive enough to cause this much damage. Speaking of the fire it had suddenly increased thanks to the ferocity of this falcon, intensifying greatly. "Oh, right. You forgot about this fire too, didn't you? Unlike regular fire, that falcon's flames come straight from Tartarus itself." Melody commented as she protected herself with the flames along with Bittersweet. "Gah..." Jenny and oy were starting to feel those flames once they had some time to spread. The two of them had their pupils dilate as a burning sensation came through "W-What is this...?" "My heart feels like it's heating up..." Joy grunted as she suddenly kneeled down with Blissey putting her hands on her back. In just a few short minutes, the flames had already done some damage. The arms of Officer Jenny and Nurse oy were starting to gain some dark spots on them that only added to the problem. "Like I said. Not like normal flames. Sigliyph. Air Slash." "Mismagius, Ominous Wind." "SIgil!" While Jenny and Joy were feeling the aggressive heat of Tartarus, the opposing Pokemon took the chance to attack. Blades of wind and a spiral of foul air had been sent in their direction, however, Arcanine and Blissey were still here. "Arca!" Arcanine immediately intercepted with Flamethrower, holding back Air Slash while Blissey had used her immunity to Ghost-Type attacks to shove Nurse Joy out of the way, allowing the attack to reach Blissey instead. Or rather, completely phase through her. The impact of Flamethrower and Air Slash resulted in a combustion that made the two vampires look away for a bit. Despite fending them off, the flames of Tartarus were only getting worse. And the aggressive heat was harming Jenny and Joy to the point where they could only hold themselves. "Bliss! Blissey!" Blissey spoke to Arcanine, agreeing that it was too dangerous to be around here. The flames were volatile and unnatural, coming from a darker place. "Arca!" Arcanine agreed as well as he picked up Officer Jenny whilst Blissey picked up Nurse Joy. "Running away? It's no use. Watch as the flames dance to my melody~" Suddenly, living up to her name, Melody Moon started humming a sweet yet cruel melody. And the moment Arcanine and Blissey ran off with their trainers, Melody's melody had affected the flames themselves. As if they were listening to Melody's voice, the flames began dancing as the vampire had the power to manipulate them. And with this cruel melody, she then made the move towards Arcanine and the others with a coordinated movement. The flames tore through the area as it threatened the Pokemon living here as well. It was a big route which meant that the fire had more space to roam freely. "Not bad. You used the falcon's flames to your advantage. Wish I could do that." Bittersweet commented, watching the trail of fire. "Anything can dance to my song. Opal and Sweet Fang think they've got the best voice, but I think not. Don't tell them that though." Melody continued to speak in the tone of a melody as she and Bittersweet advanced, heading for the town. The flames were affecting other Pokemon here despite not touching them. Tartarus flames could cause intense heat that could be felt from great distances while piling up in power. Much like how it had put Jenny and Joy to their knees without making any contact and affecting their hearts, it could do many things. A flock of Starly and Staravia tried flying away from the route, feeling their bodies tremble just from the heat itself. Hordes of Pokemon started fleeing once the heatwave was nearby. Their home was in danger of being attacked, but some Pokemon wouldn't allow that. As for Jenny and Joy, they by a cave to rest. The dancing flames were still searching for them, but for the time being, they were safe. That is until the flames potentially burn everything down. "Blissey." Blissey had used Aromatherapy, eliminating the aggressive heat that was threatening them both. Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy took a deep breath once the soothing energy of Aromatherapy came through. However, those dark spots remained for the time being. "Thank you, Blissey. It looks like we need some more time to deal with these spots." Joy commented, looking at her arm. "We'll deal with that later. Right now, I need to head to town. The falcon could harm everyone else in there." Jenny said, standing up. "Hold on!" Joy grabbed her arm, which ended up harming Jenny due to the dark spots. Nurse oy unintentionally harmed someone for once as she pulled her arm away. "S-Sorry! But, you can't go now. Not with all of those spots on you." "I have to go, Joy. It's my duty as an officer." "But there are other officers there. I need to rest up myself and you should do the same. These dark spots are unlike anything I've seen before." "They do twitch...and even with Aromatherapy, I can still feel something coming from them." Jenny looked at the spots, seeing how they were pulsating. The flames from Tartarus were already a handful. From the way they spread, the range they can affect others and the spots that they leave behind. "Even so, I've never been one to ignore my duty. Neither have you when it comes to helping Pokemon." "Jenny...?" "Our families are similar. Not just for our vast quantities and our massive family tree, but because we all want to help others. Whether it'd be for justice or just for the sake of genuinely helping them." "That's true...I've never considered staying behind before. Maybe one of my sisters or cousins have." "Right now, those vampires threaten all of those ideals we have, don't you see? If they get even one chance of finding Yveltal, everything and everyone we know and love will be gone. Including us. That can't happen." "You're right! If anything...this all goes against what I and my family strive for! Who cares about some dark spots any-" But the moment Joy decided to exert some energy, the spots pulsated, responding to her energy as it caused her to sit down. "Ow! These are dangerous though!" "Blissey!" "Right. We'll have to work around these dark spots. For now, here's what we'll do." Jenny then dug into her pockets, pulling out two more Poke Balls. Out of the came Swanna and Herdier. "Swanna!" "Herdier!" "Swanna. I need you to put these flames out. Herdier. Go with Nurse Joy and Blissey to the town and stop the stones from being taken. The other officers will be there." "Wait." Joy intervened all of a sudden. "There a Pokemon here as well that are in danger. I'm staying behind to help them as well. You understand, right Jenny?" "Joy?" "Don't worry. I'll e fine. I have Blissey here with me after all. You should go on ahead. I protect the forest, you protect the town. That's fair, isn't it?" Joy let out a bright smile of happiness, despite the troubles she was facing. "Hm." Jenny smiled back. "Alright then. Just stay safe. I'll be back. Swanna. Stay with Joy." "Swanna!" Swanna saluted. Officer Jenny, Arcanine and Herdier were off, returning to Geosenge Town. However, to make sure that the dark spots wouldn't be a constant detriment to her, Jenny got on Arcanine's back as the Legendary Pokemon would take her there. Joy would take the forest alongside one of Jenny's Pokemon. Putting out the flames from Tartarus and saving the Pokemon was something they had to get down despite their minuscule numbers. Bt Nurse Joy wasn't one to let that stop her. She's taken care of multiple Pokemon before and saving multiple Pokemon was practically the same thing in her eyes as Blissey helped her up. However, the moment Nurse Joy was ready to go, the spots started pulsating yet again. But this time, they were far more violent, causing Joy to get on her knees and wince in greater pain. "Aaaaah!" "Bliss?! Blissey?!" "There you are~" The voice of Melody Moon had been heard. She was still speaking in a melodic tone to keep the flames moving. And when she let out a melodic tone, the spots pulsated yet again, harming Joy. "Hrrgh!" Joy grimaced. "S-So...her voice is the one making this constant pain." Nurse Joy had already figured it out with her expertise in health. Indeed, much like how Melody Moon was able to control the flames of the Falcon Demon by humming a melody, she could do the same to the spots since they were connected. The furious underworld flames had appeared, dancing in a coordinated melody. And walking through the flames that had opened a sizable hole was Melody Moon, appearing once more. alongside Bittersweet. She had found Nurse Joy right near this cave. Joy took a deep breath before standing up again. Blissey and Swanna got right in front of her, becoming her shield. "Hm? Where's your blue-haired friend~? Or is it light green~?" "She has an important duty to do. Much like stopping you and what you're doing the same. The same goes for me and stopping this damage to the route." Joy replied, holding her arm, trying to ignore the pain that Melody Moon was sending. "Aha. But can you do anything with those spots~?" My beautiful voice controls it all, so no matter what, you'll always feel the flames~" She chuckled, sending more pain to Nurse Joy. "It's impressive that someone of such standard flesh can take so much though~" "I can still do a lot. Especially with my Blissey and the help of Jenny's Swanna. As a nurse, I'm always making sure that others are in good health...but there are times when individuals such as you need to feel some pain." Nurse Joy suddenly grinned, knowing that even she had to battle to inflict some pain, which wasn't common for a Nurse Joy. "Oooh~ I'm so scared~" Melody Moon wobbled her head, not fearing Nurse Joy's threat. "Sigilyph, Ancient Power~" She commanded while also sending the flames towards her targets. "Mismagius. Deal with them by using Shadow Ball!" "Sigilyph!" Sigilpyh and Mismagius would attack with the flames, sending fossiled rocks and a bolt of electricity in unison. "B-Blissey! Thunderbolt!" Joy commanded. "Blissey!" Blissey would attack while Swanna would do its own thing. A spark of electricity capable of 100,000 volts came flying out of Blissey whilst Swanna had Water Gun, intercepting the attacks. The four attacks connected, resulting in a smoke cloud of Infinity Energy appearing. It was large enough to be seen from afar. Especially by Officer Jenny, who was still within the vicinity of the route. She looked back, witnessing the emergence of the smoke cloud, thinking only one thing. "Joy!" "Swanna!" After the attacks cancelled each other out, along came Swanna, flying through the smoke and using Wing Attack as it advanced on Mismagius. Mismagius was met with a surprise hit to the body by Swanna's wing. "Mismag!" Mismagius had been launched back, but not before the flames had suddenly attacked Swanna. Right after it had knocked Mismagius away, the Water-Flying-Type was suddenly wrapped by the flames thanks to Melody's voice. "Swan?! Swanna?!" "I don't know the flames won't give them dark spots, but who cares~?" Melody Moon shrugged, intensifying the flames as Swanna was being put inside of a giant fireball. "I've got the nurse. SIgilyph! Air Slash!" Bittersweet commanded as she spread her wings out, deciding to get close to Nurse Joy. At the same time, Sigilyph sent slashes of wind that would greatly harm an already injured Nurse Joy. "Blissey!" Blissey was her shield once more, using Protect. A large barrier had been placed around Blissey and Joy, keeping them both safe. "I wouldn't do that..." Bittersweet smirked as she finally revealed her Curse Magic. With just the flash of her eyes which emanated a mixture of green and red, she manipulated Blissey's Protect. The barrier that Blissey created had been altered, going from something that protect her, to something that would harm her. The barrier suddenly felt hot. As hot as the flames that were already around this area. Blissey gasped before immediately lowering the shield to keep Joy safe from any further heat. But doing so allowed Sigilyph's Air Slashes to connect, bombarding Blissey as she was in the way. "Bliss!" Blissey was pushed back as Bittersweet managed to reach Nurse Joy, landing in front of her. "Like that? First, it was something protective and now it's used against you. My Curse Magic is neat, isn't it?" Bittersweet said to Nurse Joy before stomping her hoof on her leg, preventing the nurse from going anywhere. "Ugh!" Nurse Joy already had to deal with the spots, but now, there was the issue of Bittersweet being next to her. "What should we do with you? We could take you back. Having a nurse for our Pokemon can do some wonders...But you'd probably be an appropriate nurse for Magehold if you weren't all flesh. Should we fix that?" Bittersweet revealed her fangs. "Bliss...Blissey!" However, Blissey was a passive Pokemon for a reason. She could still fight, but her defences made it so that it was almost impossible to defeat her. The moment Nurse Joy had been threatened, Blissey had used the full force of her body, bashing it against Sigilyph. "Sigil!" Sigilyph was sent flying by Blissey's body tackle. Her body weight was enough to launch Sigilyph back a bit as the Avianod Pokemon crashed into Bittersweet, interrupting her. "Ouch!" Bittersweet had flinched while also being forced away from Nurse Joy. Blissey then ran to Joy's side, only for the flames from Melody Moon's humming to intercept her. "Bliss?!" Blissey gasped as she ran into the flames. "The swan, I get. The same goes for the dog. But how come you aren't getting any dark spots on you~?" Melody Moon questioned as she had also trapped Blissey in a fireball. "B-B-Blissey...!" There was a good reason for that. Blissey's defences. Her endurance was the key. Even if she was trapped within the fireball, her great endurance and defences would keep her going as she started using Aromatherapy inside of the ball to continuously hold back the heat. "Swanna!" Swanna had also freed itself, using Aqua Jet within the fireball. Spouts of water flew out, dousing out the flames as Swanna was also unaffected, thanks to her common resistance to Fire. After breaking free from the Fireball, Swanna used the momentum of Aqua Jet to fly directly toward Melody Moon. "Hm?!" Melody turned around, hearing the sounds of water flowing. She turned around as she was in imminent danger of being tackled by an incoming White Bird Pokemon. A splash of water had been made as Swanna bumped heads with Melody Moon, pushing her away. "Agh! You stupid bird...!" "Bliss!" Blissey's endurance helped her through the fireball. Since Melody Moon's melody humming had been interrupted thanks to Swanna, the power of it had dwindled, allowing the Normal-Type to break free. After breaking free, Blissey had picked up Nurse Joy, carrying her like a baby. "Blissey...get us to the rest of the Pokemon. I need to help them now." Joy said as the pain had subsided thanks to Swanna's interference. "Bliss!" Blissey was already on it. No use in staying here any longer. The other Pokemon were in danger after all. Some of them might not have resistance to the dark spots like Blissey, Swanna and Arcanine. Swanna would give them a chance for some cover. The White Bird Pokemon had used Water Gun on the ground, causing another splash. This time, it was a radius splash as it acted like a mini-tsunami, flying in the direction of Bittersweet, Melody, Mismagius and Sigilyph. "As if! Mismagius! Ominous Wind!" "Mismagius!" Mismagius had pushed the splash away by whipping up a foul wind. However, the attack did its job. Swanna's Water Gun was only meant to serve as a distraction and a way to cover the path that they took. And it worked successfully. Once Mismagius managed to push the mini-tsunami away, Blissey, Swanna and Nurse Joy were already gone. Not too far from here, but enough to be out of sight. "They're going to keep running, aren't they?" BIttersweet said as Melody Moon groaned, holding her head. Swanna made a pretty heavy impact to stagger her a bit. Getting hit by a Pokemon attack was not pleasant no matter what. "Come on. Let's go." "Wait." Melody shook her head as the flames were put on pause for a bit. "Forget them. We'll head for the town instead. I'll leave the flames to that nurse. The stones matter more than anything. ANd besides...that other demon should be there by now." Geosenge Town. Indeed, the Ape Demon had shown up at Geosenge Town. And it didn't take a while for the police to be alerted. When Officer Jenny finally arrived at Geosenge Town, she saw the problems this ape was causing. But that wasn't all. The Falcon Demon was already hearing here in the first place. Much like how it attacked the forest, it also attacked the town, dropping its feathers. The feathers did what they normally do. Blow up and immediately summon a violent fire that could cause these painful dark spots on others. As for the Ape Demon, strength was greatly impressive as multiple Pokemon attacks from the police were keeping it at bay, but not defeating it just yet. It knocked away the attacks before aggressively slamming the ground, causing some ruckus. Trying to reach the stones was a tricky task as the ground rumbling had knocked the opposing Pokemon away. The strength had also made some rocks pop out of the ground as the people of Geosenge Town had been disturbed. Once the Pokemon were pushed back and the officers had fallen over, the ape took the chance to run towards the stones. "Flamethrower!" "Arcanine!" Arcanine attacked the ape from behind with a stream of flames. The ape had been caught off guard, falling over immediately from that blindsided attack. "Is everyone okay?!" Jenny cried out as Arcanine ran to the fellow officers. "We're fine. Just a bit of a fall, that's all." Another officer said as the Pokemon got back up. A ground shake wasn't enough to stop them. "But what's happening exactly? What is that Pokemon?" "I'm afraid the vampires have made their move. And that might be one of those 100 Demons they brought up to us. Is everyone in the city alright?" "We've evacuated the people the second that creature came along. But these spots on us..." Another officer showed her arm to Jenny. They had already received it. "That's because of that other demon." Jenny looked up, seeing the Falcon Demon circling the night skies. The Ape Demon was also getting back up, growling as it had been further aggravated. "Our priority is to make sure those pillars don't go anywhere. You know that. But first, I'll call for some backup." "The other officers from afar?" An officer questioned. "No. I'm calling for the Ranger Union. Arcanine. Go!" "Arcanine!" Arcanine would head for the station before it could potentially catch on fire soon. The Ranger Union were just like the police, but they were all in one spot rather than being spread out. Once the Ape Demon got back up, it looked over at Officer Jenny, roaring at her. Arcanine!" However, the Ape Demon's roar was nothing compared to the roar of an Arcanine. One roar and anyone who witnessed it was stunned. The same goes for a demon as it was taken aback by it. That allowed the police to attack while the ape was charmed by Arcanine's roar. Geosenge Police Station. The station was still in good condition thankfully. But these flames would continue until nothing was left. Arcanine managed to get Jenny safely to her destination without any problems. "T-Thank you, Arcanine," Jenny said. Since Melody Moon was far away from her, the pulsating spots weren't frequent or even as painful. She got off Arcanine, heading for the call centre. But the Falcon Demon was ordered to give a distraction. That meant everything that threatened the Black Crusade plan. Breaking into this station was the Falcon Demon as it blasted through the walls. "Herdier?!" "Arcanine?!" The two dogs gasped as the Falcon Demon arrived, targeting Jenny and her Pokemon. Jenny gasped, witnessing the arrival of this demon that was both fast and highly destructive with just the drop of a feather. "Keep it busy, you two!" "Arca!" Arcanine and Herdier would deal with the Falcon Demon while Jenny went for the phone. The two of them made sure that the demon was fixated on them as Herder had used Take Down while Arcanine used Bite. But the Falcon Demon was a falcon for a reason. It was agile, immediately soaring to the sides and evading both Take Down and Bite at the same time. It would tricky to g against something that could use the air to its advantage, especially after blasting a hole in here. But, enough time was given to Jenny for her to call them. She dug her nails in the wooden table from the pulsating spots before getting a response from the Ranger Union. She reached one of the people working there as a certain voice had responded to Jenny, belonging to someone who would help in a heartbeat. "Ranger Union. Jack Walker here. How can I help?" As the journey continues. Chapter 831 End.
