My Little Pokémon

The Biggest Pokemon

Ponyville, Night.

It was a silent calm night. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, except for Jade Skies and Cold Colt walking around Ponyville along with certain Pokemon who only show themselves at night, but that was just normal for them. Everything was perfectly silent. The same can be said with Canterlot. With Luna and Darkrai patrolling the Dream World, nopony or Pokemon is even suffering from any nightmares at all.

Yes, it's all smooth sailing tonight until the day arrives. However, there's always something lurking within the shadows. And this time, it wasn't a threat they were familiar with. In fact, this couldn't be classified as a full-on threat that was against Equestria. But it was something that could endanger Equestria.

Over at a newly created area due to the worlds merging known as Lapras Lake where many Lapras dwell and fairly close to both Canterlot and Ponyville, a fisherpony was humming a tune whilst searching for something chew down on tonight.

"It's a whole new world we live in...it's a whole new way to see..." He sang to himself. He was patiently waiting to snag a big catch whilst sitting under the moonlight. High up in the night skies, if you looked closely, you could see a bunch of Minior fall from above. They were the Meteor Pokemon after all so it was natural. As he continued to sing along to himself, the fisherpony finally got something. "OH! I snagged me sum'thn!" He stood up, gripping his fishing rod tight. "It's a big one! Wonder what it is?!" He was pulling with all his might. Every ounce of strength that he had left. But unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull it up.

"Lap?" A Lapras noticed the water underneath it tremble. So did the others. Whatever was underneath them must be a monstrosity of a sea creature. All the Water-Type Pokemon under the sea along with the Lapras began swimming for their lives as they feel the currents of the lake changing from the sheer force of this creature.

The fisherpony fell on his back, being defeated by this creature with his rod falling inside the lake, sinking deep down. "Ugh...what kind of beast can be that heavy?" He held his head. The fisherpony quickly got his answer when he saw the beast rise up from the lake. The amount of sheer force it exhibited from rising up from the water was enough to make the entire lake tremble. Its potency caused a tsunami to form, chasing after the fisherpony. "Sweet Celestia." He gulped. The last thing he saw was not just the tsunami but a 1043.31 feet creature rising up. And after that, he was consumed by the tsunami.

But it doesn't quite end there. The shadow the creature cast even reached Ponyville and Canterlot, blocking out the moon itself. Not only that, but the amount of pressure it made when soaring through the air created a thunderous sound of wind that managed to wake everypony up. The residents of peaceful Ponyville took a gander outside of their window to see this overwhelming shadow fly over their town. And it went even further. This creature was large enough to eclipse the entire all of Equestria and beyond. Essentially, the entire world. They couldn't quite make out what it was due to it being incredibly dark but they could tell it was gargantuan.

Rarity had fainted from the mere sight of it as one of her Leavanny caught her. Machamp held the entire Apple Family close for protection. Fluttershy and all of the Pokemon at the Pokemon House huddled together as they cowered in fear over this unidentified beast. Twilight and Cloudsdale got the worst of it due to them living at a higher point. Even from this height, they still had no idea what their eyes had seen due to the increased darkness.

Finally, the unidentified monster had vanished, returning to the lake it came from. But it didn't leave without a devastating effect. Once it dived back down into the lake, a second tsunami kicked up. This tsunami was much powerful than the last one, meaning that it was racing towards Canterlot and Ponyville at the same time.

Celestia gasped, looking up at the incoming wave of mass water. She quickly put up a defensive barrier, protecting all of Canterlot from the tsunami. The same for Ponyville. Twilight managed to protect it all by also have her own barrier up. Disaster averted. But the fact that this creature almost destroyed both Ponyville and Canterlot that easily was lingering in their minds now.

The morning had arrived.

And immediately, the only thing they all wanted to discuss was what they all saw last night.

"It was gigantic!" Lyra exclaimed.

"It covered the entire moon!" Sweetie Belle pulled her mane.

"It almost destroyed Ponyville!" Amethyst Star bellowed. Everywhere you look, you'll see and hear them chat about the creature who blocked out the moon itself.

"You think it was the Storm Behemoth again?" Pinkie said to Twilight.

"Not at all." Twilight shook her head. "This was something different. The behemoth looked like an ant compared to it...The fact that it blocked out even the moon is insane. Plus the force it let out caused a tsunami that could've doomed us all!"

"Whatever it was...there's no way it could've been a Pokemon, right?" Rainbow Dash commented.

"Wouldn't be surprised if it was. Pokemon are unpredictable after all." Rarity replied.

"What's everyone talking about?" Ash had arrived along with Goh this time.

"Pika?"

"Ash! Goh! You two won't believe what we saw last night!" Pinkie dashed over to them. "There was this... thing! It was huge! Absurdly huge! It shut off the moon for a bit! And it almost drowned us!"

"Was it another behemoth?!" Ash leaned forward.

"Pika-Pikachu?"

"Well...we don't think it was. What do you think, Twilight?" Pinkie turned to her friend.

"No clue. At this point, we might have to assume it was a Pokemon. But it's not a Pokemon I've ever seen before."

"Me neither. I've never seen a Pokemon like that before." Fluttershy shook her head.

"Maybe it's one of those Legendary Pokemon?" Apple Bloom spoke. "They're always big from what I hear."

"Well, what did it look like?" Goh asked.

"It looked like...Hmmm...It was kinda round...I think?" Pinkie scratched her mane with her hoof.

"It had a pretty long body shape. Kind of oval." Rainbow Dash drew an oval with her hooves.

"And we couldn't see its colour all that well because of how dark it was. But I think it might've been blue, maybe?" Scootaloo spoke. "You think it's a Water-Type?"

"It did almost drown us so maybe?" Silver Spoon shrugged.

"Sounds like one heck of a Pokemon! Which one do you think it is, Ash?" Goh turned to Ash.

"Hm..." The young trainer began putting the pieces together based on what everypony has said. Absurdly huge...oval-shaped...long...blue...possibly Water-Type. There's only one Pokemon that fits that explanation to a T. "I know which Pokemon that is!"

"You do?!" All of Ponyville said, leaning forward.

"Mhm! You guys just got your first encounter with a Wailord."

"Pika!"

"Wailord...?" Twilight uttered, unsure of a Pokemon named Wailord. Everypony's never heard of it other than Ash and Goh that is. Mostly because Ash has seen a lot of Wailord's throughout his journeys and Goh a few months back.

"Here. This is it." Ash took out his Pokedex, scrolling towards the information of Wailord as everypony moved forward to look at it.

"Wailord. The Float Whale Pokemon. Wailord is the largest of all identified Pokémon up to now. The biggest of them all. This giant Pokémon swims languorously in the vast open sea, eating massive amounts of food at once with its enormous mouth. When chasing prey, Wailord herds them by leaping out of the water and making a humongous splash. It is breathtaking to see this Pokémon leaping out of the sea with others in its pod. It can sometimes knock out opponents with the shock created by breaching and crashing its big body onto the water. When a small Wailmer is attacked by Sharpedo or Dhelmise, its whole pod works together to protect it. By inhaling to its maximum capacity, a Wailord can dive close to 10,000 feet beneath the waves. Wailord watching is a favourite sightseeing activity in various parts of the world. This Pokemon at times is also known as the Titan of all Pokemon."

"SERIOUSLY?!" Twilight's wings stood up along with everypony else being shocked. "A Pokemon THAT huge exists?!"

"You mean to tell me that this whale looking Pokemon is just swimming somewhere in Equestria?!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Looks like it. Guess you guys got a first taste of the biggest Pokemon ever, huh?" Ash laughed.

"Pika-Pika."

"No kidding. I wonder how you would battle with something like that?" Rainbow Dash thought for a second. She had a small little imagination instance where she imagined her opposing trainer using a Pokemon of medium size like Donphan. Then she imagined her battling with the largest of all Pokemon, Wailord.

If Wailord is that huge, then how are you going to be able to see the battle if it's blocking your view of your opponent? Will Wailord immediately crush the Pokemon the moment it's sent out of the Pokeball? How do you even knock back a Pokemon of that size even if you use a Super-effective move? And if it does get knocked back, will it fall and crush you instead? The thought of it sounded impossible to battle with a Pokemon like that.

"Does your world have to deal with stuff this huge on a daily basis?" Aria asked.

"Mhm." Ash nodded.

"At least we know what it was now. I'm sure that Wailord had someplace to be." Fluttershy said. But, the moment she mentioned Wailord's name, it came back. Once more, over at Lapras Lake, Wailord was on the move. Its movements were powerful enough to be heard from Ponyville.

"Is it Wailord again?!" Apple Bloom jumped up, hiding behind Machamp.

"WAILORD!" The Float Whale Pokemon let out a cry reaching across Equestria. And just like last night, it soared out of the lake, causing yet another tsunami to rise up. Rainbow Dash took the skies, seeing a clearer look of Wailord for the first time along with everypony else

"There it is! IT'S GIGANTIC!" Rainbow Dash yelped. She then realized that it wasn't a good idea to just stand around since there was a tsunami coming her way. She and the other pegasi took the skies, avoiding the tsunami whilst Twilight put up yet another protection spell, saving Ponyville from being swept by the tsunami.

"That's Wailord, alright! But that Wailord's bigger than any of the ones I've seen before!" Ash exclaimed, running towards it and heading for the undiscovered Lapras Lake.

"Pika!"

"Ash! Don't go near it!" Twilight flew after him. And like usual, her friends followed after her as well. Besides, who wouldn't want to see the biggest Pokemon ever?

Wailord was blocking out the sun this time, covering the entire azure skies. Now that they all got a clearer look on it, Ash and Fluttershy noticed that it had bite marks on its body. Multiple even. The largest Pokemon took a dive, returning underneath the lake. Once Ash got close to it, he was given a huge splash of water that made him and his electric buddy all wet.

"Aw, my clothes..." Ash looked at himself.

"Pikachu..." Pikachu shook off all the water from him. Wailord could finally be seen up close with the upper part of its body sticking out from the water.

"By Equestria...It's gargantuan!" Rarity gasped.

"It's much bigger up close." Applejack nodded.

"Wail..." From the looks of it, Fluttershy noticed that Wailord was in severe pain. The bite marks on its body were the cause of it. And they resembled that of Sharpedo bite marks.

"This Wailord. It looks like it's been attacked." Fluttershy flew up to it. "See? Look." Fluttershy placed her hoof near the bite marks, making Wailord wail. "And they're Sharpedo bite marks as well."

"Is that why it's been diving up and down lately?" Applejack went up to her.

"Most likely. I'm sure Wailord here didn't mean to cause tsunamis, right?" Fluttershy gave the Float Whale Pokemon a hoof pat.

"Wailord..."

"Hm? Is that why?!" Fluttershy gasped, flying back.

"What? What did it say?" Goh asked.

"Wailord was looking for his children in the sea but...he got separated from them when a group of Sharpedo ended up attacking them. So all the diving has been him trying to push the Sharpedo away while looking for his children. They were searching for a new home to live in the sea but they ended up getting caught by Sharpedo. Poor thing."

"Well, which Pokemon are they? A bunch of little Wailord's?" Rainbow questioned.

"Wailord..."

"Wailord's the father of 50 Wailmer. Its pre-evolution."

"50?! How do you lose 50?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Rainbow Dash! Rude!" Fluttershy snapped back at her.

"Oh...sorry."

"Don't worry, Wailord. We'll get your kids back for you." Ash went up to the Float Whale Pokemon. "They're all the way down there, right?" Ash looked at the lake.

"Are we seriously gonna have to go all the way underneath the lake?" Goh asked Ash.

"Probably. Or maybe...we can lure out the Wailmer! Pinkie Pie!" Ash turned to his pink friend.

"Already on it!" She took off, heading off to find grab her Slurpuff.

"We use Sweet Scent to lure in all the Pokemon here at Lapras Lake. The Wailmer are sure to show up with other Pokemon."

"What if those barbaric Sharpedo show up as well?" Rarity was a bit nervous about that.

"Pikachu and I will handle it."

"Pikachu!"

"Alright! Slurpuff's all set!" Pinkie was carrying her Pokemon with her bare hooves. "Work your magic! Sweet Scent!"

"Slur..." The Meringue Pokemon got to work by sending a sweet aromatic scent towards the waters of Lapras Lake in order to hopefully drag out 50 Wailmer. The scent filled the lake, reaching the Pokemon that were the closest to the group. They all swam towards the Sweet Scent, hoping to get some delicious out of it. The list of Pokemon consisted of the usual Lapras since this is their lake, Basculin, Gorebyss, Magikarp, Tympole, Frillish and Spheal. Out of the group of Pokemon that showed up, none seemed to be Wailmer at all.

"Any of ya'll see a Wailmer?" Applejack scanned the present Pokemon here as the others did the same.

"No. Not really." Spike replied.

"Can you hear the cry of a Wailmer, Audi?" Fluttershy asked her partner.

"Audino..." Audino was doing her best to track the sound of a Wailmer cry, but unfortunately, her wonderful radar-like hearing couldn't pick it up at all. Even when it was able to hear the ongoings underwater.

"Mrrgh...None of them are Wailmer." Twilight sighed.

"Maybe we can try asking them." Fluttershy went over to the Water-Types. "Excuse me. But have any of you seen 50 Wailmer? Or at least a few?"

"Lapras? Lapras." Lapras nodded her head along with the Frillish.

"You have?! Where?!"

"Lapras." The Transport Pokemon pointed its fins over at the south of the lake. "Lap. Lapras."

"Apparently, Lapras and Frillish saw a group of Sharpedo chasing after each of the Wailmer. But each of them split up into different groups, heading into the deepest part of the lake."

"So, they're at the very bottom?" Goh replied.

"That's right. That's also why Sweet Scent didn't lure them in."

"Alright. That means we're going to have to head deep underwater to find them. This might be tricky." Twilight sighed.

"Do we have anything for underwater, actually?" Rarity asked Twilight.

"There's a spell that allows us to breathe underwater for a certain period of time. But it only lasts 20 minutes. So we have to move quickly. Who knows how deep this lake goes?"

"We'll find out one way or another." Ash rolled up his sleeves.

"Hold on! Before you start swimming at the very bottom, the spell can only hold a few of us. So we can't all head in." Twilight stopped Ash from jumping in. "The best I can do is three of us."

"Only three? You sure that's enough?" Rainbow Dash uttered.

"It is. Two of us need to head down there while I provide the breathing. Ash. Fluttershy. You two are great with Pokemon. You two are our best option."

"You can count on us, Twilight. Looks like you're gonna have to sit this one out, buddy." Ash grabbed Pikachu placing him down.

"Pikapi."

"Wait here, Audi. We'll be right-" Before Fluttershy could finish her sentence, Wailord spoke, giving a much better idea than a breathing spell. "Hm...You'll take us instead?"

"What does he mean by that?" Twilight asked.

"Wailord..."

"Wailord's gonna carry us in his mouth." Fluttershy casually explained.

"WHAT?!" They all pulled back in shock.

"Lapras."

"And Lapras says that she'll guide the way and protect us."

"Oh no...no-no-no-no, I'm not sure I'm up for that..." Twilight winced.

"Being inside its mouth doesn't sound pleasant, darling." Rarity shuddered.

"Plus, won't the Sharpedo just attack again?" Pinkie asked.

"Yes, but Lapras will protect us, remember? Come on. Don't you want to help Wailord find his children?"

"I mean...yeah." Rainbow Dash twiddled with her hooves.

"I'm not ashamed of helping somepony else but..." Rarity dusted her hoof on the sand.

"Well. We'd better get moving. Sharpedo are super-fast ya know." Ash walked up to Wailord.

"Wait, Ash! Don't-" Twilight and Goh attempted to stop him, but it was too late. Wailord had invited the young trainer and his Pokemon inside, having the first traveller in it. "Too late."

"It's better to take risks for something greater." Fluttershy was next as she flew in as well with her Audino. It was only a matter of time before the others would have to go in. Twilight swallowed her fears, heading inside as well. Applejack did the same along with Rainbow Dash, closing their eyes when they went in. Goh followed suit and now it was just Spike and Rarity. Spike went in, covering his eyes along the way as Rarity ever so slowly walked forward. She turned her head away, covering her eyes, entering last.

"Is it safe to open my eyes?" Rarity stammered.

"Actually...this is better than I expected." Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped. Rarity opened those eyes up, seeing something she didn't expect. The inside of this Wailord was unexpectedly shiny. Everything about this place was clean and polished as it if they were diamonds.

"I didn't see this coming." Rarity shook her head in amazement.

"Wail..."

"I don't know if I'm weirded out or impressed." Twilight didn't know what to think.

"Alright, Wailord! Let's find your kids! Lead the way, Lapras!" Ash exclaimed.

"Pika-Pikapi!"

"Lapras!" Lapras began guiding them all to where she ended up seeing some of the Wailmer split up. The search for young Wailmer began. Alongside them, the Water-Types who were pulled in by the Sweet Scent were each giving their assistance by swimming with Lapras.

Heading further down into Lapras Lake would lead you to a highly cautious area that the Water-Type Pokemon call Sharpedo Seas. Wailord had been through here due to it trying to find a new home for its family. He had no idea it was known as Sharpedo Seas at all which led to him being attacked and seeing his children flee.

"Lapras?" Lapras could hear the sound of something swimming at high speeds towards them. That could mean only one thing.

"What do you hear, Lapras?" Fluttershy asked.

"Lap." Lapras stopped its movements, just to turn around. And over the distance, she and the other Water Pokemon could see the Sharpedo heading their way. They were in their territory now so it was obvious they would come after them. "Lapras!" Lapras thankfully had a response to them all in the form of the move Freeze-Dry. A Water-Type move that is super-effective on even Water-Types which Ice isn't great against. Lapras rapidly cooled the Sharpedo's stopping them in their tracks. It even froze them

"What was that?" Goh asked, hearing something occurring outside.

"Shar!" That's when more Sharpedo's started swimming forward. This made the group aware of the Sharpedo, knowing that they were here and after their previous prey, Wailord along with some new prey in the form of more Water-Types.

"Sharpedo?! Here?!" Spike held onto Rarity's hoof.

The Sharpedo were all moving at 75mph speeds, crashing through their fellow Sharpedo by shattering them into tiny pieces due to them still being frozen. They didn't care about destroying one of their own when they're on the pursuit of their prey.

The Frillish got in front of the Sharpedo, attempting to stop them all by being a wall. However, Sharpedo charged through as well, causing the Floating Pokemon to tumble in the sea. Each Water Pokemon were doing their very best to keep the Sharpedo away from Wailord and Lapras, but the overwhelming number of them was too much for them to handle. Very soon, the Brutal Pokemon managed to catch up to the group, ready to attack without any hesitation.

The Transport Pokemon realized that this was going to ugly fast if she didn't do anything about it. It tried to use another Freeze-Dry, but a Sharpedo managed to bite onto her back, causing the Ice-Water Pokemon to cry out in pain.

"What's going on out there?!" Applejack was getting nervous. It sounded like something awful was happening on the outside. And it was true, it was awful. Wailord realized that if Lapras goes down, he'll lose the one Pokemon that can guide him to his children. So, the Float Whale Pokemon moved turned around, swinging its tail at Sharpedo. This was a good idea since Wailord is so huge, anything that gets hit by it will be sent flying, 100% guaranteed. But this was also a risky decision as the other Sharpedo bit onto the tail of Wailord, making it cry.

"That doesn't sound good...We'd better help out!" Ash was about to head outside.

"Uh, Ash! Not a good idea when we're this deep underwater!" Twilight flew in front of him.

"Don't worry about it! Let's go Pikachu!"

"Pika!"

"If that's the case...then you'll need this." Twilight set up the underwater breathing-spell in order to have Ash and Pikachu work underwater without having to worry about their breath. She followed them outside since she needs to be close in order for the spell to continue.

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Ash pointed at the Sharpedo.

"Pika...Chu!" A bolt of 100,000 volts struck each of the Brutal Pokemon directly. It caused a chain reaction of bolts to hit each of them that were on Wailord's tail. Just then, the rest of the Sharpedo turned their attention to Ash, Pikachu and Twilight. They zoomed towards them, attempting to bite them into pieces. Ash moved out of the way but a Sharpedo managed to tear off a part of his sleeves. One Sharpedo managed to bite off a bit of Twilight's mane while another almost ate Pikachu whole.

"This was a terrible idea!" Twilight yelped. Each time a Sharpedo moved towards them, they kept doing their best to avoid their bites. Because if Sharpedo gets one good bite on them, that's game over.

"Iron Tail!" Pikachu smacked away the remaining Sharpedo by swinging at them each time they got close. He even managed to break one of their teeth when they tried to bite on his tail. Thanks to the efforts of Ash, Pikachu and a few of the Water-Types, the Sharpedo had been driven away. But they were still in their territory, meaning that more will be arriving shortly soon. The three of them re-entered Wailord, shaking the water off of them.

"That was close..." Twilight held her chest with her heart beating rapidly. In that small instance, her entire life could've ended right there.

"Did you manage to stop all the Sharpedo?" Fluttershy helped Twilight up.

"Yeah...drove them away." Twilight took some time to relax her heart.

"Lapras." Lapras had thankfully recovered, but the bite mark on its shell was still there and it stung since it is apart of its body. Managing to survive an assault of Sharpedo was actually worth it since Lapras had managed to reach the first area she saw some of the Wailmer retreat to. A small sea cave.

Inside this Cave were 12 Wailmer in total. They were all hiding from Sharpedo since they knew that if they were to even step out of the cave, Sharpedo would immediately chase after them. But at the moment, it was okay since Lapras was here. She was a friendly face so there was no fear of her at all. Not only that but with Wailord behind her, they could see their father again. The Wailmer instantly swam out of the cave, heading towards their father and reuniting with him.

"Wailmer!"

"You hear that?" Fluttershy and Audino picked up on the cries of Wailmer being happy. "We found some!"

"Oh, finally!" Rainbow Dash groaned.

The 12 Wailmer gave their father a hug, filling the Float Whale Pokemon with joy. He was happy to see some of his children again. But there was still 38 of them left to find. Lapras knew where the others went so she gladly led the way once more. Anything to get out of this Sharpedo-infested waters.

The search continued until Lapras led them to an area where there were sea crystals that dazzled in the water. These gemstones were just lying everywhere, radiating multiple colours that bounced well off the Lumineon that were around here. And this crystal area was where the next batch of Wailmer could be found. But at the moment, they weren't having a better experience than the previous twelve. In fact, the rest of the 38 Wailmer were all being chased by Sharpedo.

The Brutal Pokemon had been chasing after these Ball Whale Pokemon, crashing their heads on the ocean rocks and walls due to them constantly missing. Despite their 75mph speed, Wailmer could easily avoid them due to them all having the ability to elevate their own bounce height. So this entire time, Sharpedo have been essentially trying to hit balloons.

"Lapras!"

"Lapras says that they're all here!" Fluttershy translated.

"All of them?!" They all simultaneously exclaimed.

Despite the Wailmer easily avoiding the Sharpedo, they were slowly running out of stamina. And it was only a matter of time before the all the Sharpedo end up catching them since they barely get fatigued. Lapras being the protective Pokemon that she is, fired an Ice Beam towards a Sharpedo that was attempting to bite on a tired Wailmer, saving its life with a good old Freeze status effect. Wailord moved in, using the basic move Tackle to hit away the other Sharpedo. Ash stood up, ready to head out in the water again. Twilight groaned, knowing that there was nothing she could do to stop Ash from going outside. So she ended up casting the breathing-spell again, heading out with him.

There were much more Sharpedo out here than the ones back at their territory. But that's to be expected since most of them left their territory in order to find the rest of the Wailmer.

"Electroweb!" Ash pointed at the Sharpedo. Pikachu sent a web of electricity that trapped some Sharpedo, saving the Wailmer that were fatigued. "Quick Attack!" Pikachu then moved at blinding speeds in the water itself, hitting a Sharpedo into the sea walls. Lapras managed to freeze more and more Sharpedo with Freeze Dry and Ice Beam whilst Wailord kept using his overwhelming size to his advantage. Twilight kept the breathing-spell up, hoping that none of the Sharpedo would notice her. But one of them did and instantly chased after her.

"Not good! Eve! Psybeam!" Twilight yelped, commanding her Pokemon to blast away the Sharpedo. But more and more were coming after them. Soon, the entire ocean was occupied and populated with nothing but Sharpedo. Every other Water-Type had fled, not wanting to be caught up in this at all.

The others could hear all the chaos happening outside and they could even feel the chaos due to Wailord using his body as a weapon. Rainbow Dash realized that it would probably be better to help out her friends before they're torn apart by Sharpedo.

"Wait, Rainbow Dash. You're not heading out there too are you?!" Rarity exclaimed.

"You bet I am! Twilight and Ash could be eaten up if we don't do something! Let me out Wailord!" Wailord gladly opened up its mouth to allow Rainbow Dash to fly out and give assistance. The pegasus tossed a Pokeball out, sending out her Luxio. She held her breath in, pointing her hoof at the Sharpedo and commanding Luxio.

The Spark Pokemon let out a discharge of volts that spread across the water, shocking the Sharpedo that were closing in on Twilight and Eve. Soon, it became an underwater brawl. One side wanted to rip them apart while the other side just wanted to escape with everyone safe and reunited once more. It was only a matter of time before the others realized that they had to help their friend as well. Twilight couldn't use the spell on that many ponies since it was only limited to three, so they held their breath with all their life, sending out their Pokemon to assist as well.

Applejack had kicked away any incoming Sharpedo that tried to bite at her Treecko whilst Rarity's Leavanny wrapped some of them in String Shot.

Goh's Sobble used Water Gun which did nothing, but it was trying its best at least. Audino used Protect to shield her trainer from any incoming attacks from the Brutal Pokemon. If you were to be a Water-Type Pokemon just casually swimming by and you saw THIS...it wouldn't leave your memory due to how bizarre and chaotic it appeared. The Sharpedo were getting desperate. Their attacks were growing more and more aggressive. One almost bit off Applejack's hoof while another almost ripped off Pinkie Pie's head. Rainbow Dash was about to be devoured by a Sharpedo from behind but her Luxio defended her with Wild Charge.

"This is taking too long! Let's finish this! Pikachu! Spin with Thunderbolt!"

"Pika!" Pikachu spun around in the sea itself, creating a small whirlwind of water around himself. Out of this whirlwind came bolts of lightning that were moving in an erratic nature. The Sharpedo were all greeted with Counter Shield as every last one of them were being shocked by the rampant Thunderbolts. Plus, the water whirlwind helped since it was sending other Thunderbolts from different sides as well.

Very soon, all the Sharpedo had fainted due to the efforts of the trainers and the Pokemon. Every Wailmer was safe sound without a single scratch or a bite mark on them. Now the next thing to do was high-tail it out of here and return to shore at Lapras Lake. Wailord invited the group back in, giving them time to rest finally.

"Is that all of them?!" Fluttershy gasped for air.

"Yeah! We got all the Wailmer!" Ash gave a thumbs up.

"Pikachu!"

"Wonderful! Now can we please return home!" Rarity pleaded. Wailord responded to Rarity's plead by turning around, swimming off with its children. Lapras swam beside them, making sure to keep an eye out for any other attacking Sharpedo.

Their trip back to the higher levels of the lake was longer due to them having to be cautious around any remaining Sharpedo. And thankfully, the coast was clear due to them all fainting. So there was no need to worry. Or at least, they thought so. But one Sharpedo managed to hang in there. This single Sharpedo was slowly chasing them, lurking in the shadows.

Wailord and the others returned to shore, causing a huge splash to hit the sand. Ash and the group exited the mouth of Wailord, finally being able to feel the sweet air of Equestria once more.

"Finally!" Twilight gasped, falling flat on the ground. "That was aggressive..." They all took some time to catch their breath. The entire rescue mission could've ended their life in mere seconds.

"That could've been the end of us..." Rarity was hyperventilating along with the Pokemon. But their moment of rest was cut short when the final Sharpedo lunged out of the water, aiming straight for Spike.

"Raboot!" Goh's Raboot jumped up, using Double Kick to knock the Brutal Pokemon back into the lake, causing it to faint. Now, for real this time...it was over.

The Wailmer gathered around their father, tearing up as they were back with their father. Lapras let out a sigh of relief, glad that everyone got out alright. It was a happy family reunion between the Wailmer and Wailord. The father of them all could only do one thing and that was cry tears of joy. And when Wailord cries, its tears are as large waterfalls.

"WAILORD!" The tears of the father were enough to pour on the entire group, soaking them all with liquids. And they haven't even gotten the rest of the water off of them. This crying was getting to Sobble as well. And if Sobble cries...everyone cries. Which they did.

"I-It's great that you got your kids back, Wailord!" Ash teared up.

"Pika...Pikachu!" Pikachu wailed.

"And thanks for helping us out, Lapras! Thank the rest of the Water-Types for their help as well, please!" Fluttershy put her hooves over her eyes.

"Lapras..." Lapras nodded, telling Fluttershy and the others something important.

"You're going to help take care of Wailord and his family from now?"

"Lap."

"Oh, that's wonderful! You'll be a great guardian for them if you run into any more trouble!"

"Wailmer!" The little Wailmer gathered around Lapras, seeing her as some sort of mother figure actually. They all said their farewells to the Water-Types as they saw them swim off to find a new home. Wherever they're headed, they're hoping that its a safe place for them to be at. Lapras even said goodbye to its fellow Lapras, leaving them behind as well.

"Ugh...There's no reason for Water-Type Pokemon to be that much of a handful." Goh wiped away the last tear.

"Water-Type are the one type with the most Pokemon so it's to be expected after all." Rarity replied.

"Yeah, well I've had enough water for one day. I'm soaking wet..." Twilight groaned. "I need to dry off." The young alicorn trotted off with her friends following as well. They were ready to return to Ponyville to dry up and eliminate all this water from them.

Today, they managed to help a Wailord find its children. Even if it did involve their lives being threatened by the ever-so aggressive Pokemon Sharpedo. But, that's another thing to expect when Pokemon are involved. It's their unpredictability that makes them either wonderful or highly dangerous. And rest assured, the more Pokemon they come across, the more unexpected events they'll all have to go through as the journey continues!
