My Little Pokémon

by Amarvax

Absol vs Cosmos

Equestria. Frenzy Forest. Nightfall.

Frenzy Forest was on fire. All thanks to Cosmos. Possessing Cynthia via the power of the necklace she made for her, she easily got close to the Pokemon here, controlling them just as she did to Cynthia's body. Not just the Pokemon, but four Gym Leaders. Fantina, Roxanne, Roxie and Valerie.

Cosmos revelled in this malice. She loved it so much as it fed her. Cosmos needed this type of malice after being trapped in the stars for so long. Controlling most of the Pokemon here to cause malicious chaos and do her bidding.

"Isn't this wonderful?!" Cosmos spoke, standing over a hill as she watched the forest burn. "And this isn't even a bit of my best work. I have a lot more to show later down the road! Especially when I get my body back! Maybe I'll set one of Celestia's schools on fire again. No that's too redundant, especially with this scenario. I need to up my game."

"Uh, yeah..." Lucien spoke as he and Sienna didn't have much to say. Granted, both of them could only speak when it came to important moments at this point in time, especially with Cosmos and how she ended up in the original timeline.

"Are you two just going to stand there?" Cosmos turned to them.

"We uh...we just figured you'd want us to speak when you need to know something important." Sienna gulped, hiding behind Lucien.

"Correct. But I feel like being cooperative today." Cosmos snapped her finger, causing an explosion of fire to emerge around the area, causing further malice against the Pokemon living here. "Those Gym Leaders are already doing a good job. I should thank you for recommending them to me. It's been centuries since I've caused chaos alongside others. In fact...it was only with one individual."

"Discord, right?" Lucien spoke.

"Precisely. Oh, but he never saw the enjoyment that I saw...He held himself back with his chaos magic. The things we could've done if he had just gone that extra mile. Disappointing." Cosmos clenched her hand as a veil of fire appeared around her before fading away. "Well, it's fine. Very soon, he'll pay for what he did to me. But before all of that can happen, tomorrow, the star will be mine."

"And we should uh...cover our tracks after tonight, right?" Sienna leaned in. "All of this destruction could be made public since Frenzy Forest is kind of a popular place."

"Sure. We'll cover those tracks. We'll have the Pokemon here to do it for us. And if some of them end up perishing then oh well! That'll still mean no one will be left to tell the tale." Cosmos cackled as the forest was already dying. Lucien and Sienna looked at each other, knowing that they were going to have to be around such malefic behaviour. Even to them, it was all terrifying.

However, despite the forest being under attack, the other Pokemon here would prevent their homes from being obliterated and lost to the flames. One of which was Vespiquen and her hive of Combee. They could be seen flying over the horizon as the hive had already been affected by the wildfire that spread at speeds so great that it was not slowing down for even a second.

And more on the side of helping others, there was Delphox. Delphox ran through the flames as she easily resisted them thanks to her typing. She watched as many familiar faces were suddenly attacking the homes that they came to know and love, including the friends they made there. "Delphox?!"

And among these terrifying sights was something that stunned Delphox. Everyone here was a friend but some were family. And one of those was the Pyroar evolution line. Up ahead, Delphox had seen the little Litleo run up to his parents. The Male and Female Pyroar. Amidst all of this destruction, being close to his parents was the safest option thus far.

"Lit! Litleo!" He called out for his parents. However, the moment Litleo got close, he could see what they were doing. The two Pyroar weren't fleeing or protecting the forest like the others. Instead, they were involved in the carnage being brought upon the Frenzy Forest. "Lit?"

"Pyroar!" The two of them unleashed searing flames from their mouths, incinerating and obliterating everything in their path. They had focused on the Electric-Type area, which had many small Electric-Types flee with their homes being torched.

"Lit?" Litleo was frozen by this horrific act. His own parents were adding to the carnage. But not through their own will. Once he trembled on the spot, the two Pyroar had eventually noticed their son, turning their heads to spot the Lion Cub Pokemon. "L-Leo!" Litleo called for his parents once more, hoping that he would be exempt from the damage.

"Pyroar!" However, not even hesitating, or even taking the time to look at their own son, the Pyroar roared in front of Litleo, showing that anyone was their enemy in this case. Litleo closed his eyes as the roar from the two Royal Pokemon blew his fur along with the blades of grass that had also been burnt away.

The two Royal Pokemon followed up with their roars by immediately attacking their own son without a second thought. Cosmos' malice blocked all thought of reason away from others as Flamethrower had been used. Litleo was still frozen by what his parents were doing, unable to move away from the flames that approached him.

"Del!" Delphox stepped in, holding her wand out as Psychic had been used. An outline of Psychic energy covered the Lion Cub Pokemon, pulling him away at the last second. The flames struck the ground, damaging it even further as any trace of grass had been wiped out of existence.

"Roar! Pyroar!" The two Pyroar had soon noticed Delphox as well, targeting her. Anything that moved were their prey unless they were also controlled by Cosmos and Cosmos herself.

"Delphox!" Delphox then held Litleo in her hands before choosing to flee instead of engaging the two Royal Pokemon. Delphox would rather not harm Litleo's parents in front of him or even harm any of her friends. She ran with Litleo in her arms whilst the Male and Female Pyroar immediately pursued them both. However, Delphox's path was quickly stopped by a fellow Psychic-Type. Gothitelle.

"Gothitelle..." Gothitelle, along with other Pokemon had shown up, locking onto Delphox, noticing how she was missing that same glow from her eyes along with Litleo. Delphox grimaced as the two Pyroar were behind her, running like the wind while Gothitelle and other Pokemon were right in front of her.

"D-Delphox."

All the while, Cosmos spread her malice further. More of the Pokemon here were being controlled. Any that managed to escape from their attacking friends had succumbed to Cosmos who relied on brute force in this instance.

Roxie's Poison-Types helped with the destruction of the forest via their poison, melting everything away. A horrific poisonous scent filled the atmosphere as well, polluting the once healthy area. As for Fantina and Valerie, their Ghost and Fairy-Types allowed for the immediate halt of those that tried to escape.

"Sylveon! Blind them with Dazzling Gleam!"

"Gengar! Thunderbolt! Mismagius, use Psychic afterwards!"

Gengar, Mismagius and Sylveon had stopped a group of Pokemon with Sylveon using Dazzling's Gleam's overwhelming light to blind them. Once blinded, Gengar had paralyzed the ground with Thunderbolt, halting their movements while also sending 100,000 volts through them all.

The Pokemon cried out as Mismagius used Psychic to further keep them steady. As if they didn't have a way to escape any further. Other Pokemon, such as Vespiquen and her Combee attempted to rescue those who were trapped.

"Vespi!" Vespiquen sent her Combee to attack from above as all of them ended up using Bug Buzz, sending an irritating sound in massive droves. This sound pierced the ears of Gengar, Sylveon and Mismagius once unleashed, proving to be effective when there are multiple of these vibrational sounds going off.

However, even they would be stopped by another force taken over by Cosmos. Roxanne. The Trainer who had the Pokemon fit to deal with these Bug-Flying-Types.

"Crush those bugs with Power Gem, Probopass! And Armaldo, use Rock Slide!"

Attacking the Combee and interrupting their vibrational attacks were Probopass and Armaldo, also having that controlling pink glow in their eyes. Sparkling gemstones and a bombardment of rocks had been summoned out of thin air as the durable body of these Rock-Types allowed them to power through the sound waves.

Once these rocks had been summoned, the sparkling gemstones had been unleashed, rapidly bombarding the Combee. The rocks from Rock Slide followed suit, raining down from above instead of being sent upwards. It wasn't just Roxanne's Pokemon. The other Rock-Types within the Frenzy Forest became subject to Cosmos' control once she ended up getting to them. They joined in with their fellow Rock-Types, putting an end to the alarming Bug Buzz.

"Vespi!?" Vespiquen gasped as her subjects had been hit out of the sky by the rocks. She squinted her eyes as the rocks were coming from all directions. Vespqiquen would not be left out. She would soon join her subjects as some rocks were coming her way as well.

The Bug-Flying-Type noticed how another Power Gem was incoming from two different Pokemon. A Boldore and a Nosepass. In response, Vespiquen had used Air Slash, cancelling out the gems. Cosmos watched, raising her hand with some more of her magic flowing out. She was relying on Cynthia's Aura to keep parts of her magic active instead of running out of it.

Her magic ended up casting a dark cosmic purple storm that was almost large enough to encompass the forest. The malicious magic coming from these clouds had damaged the forest some more, shooting out lightning that had obliterated hiding spots that any Pokemon would've fled to.

"Look at them struggle. If I had my magic back, I think I'd make it worse for them. But this'll do." Cosmos commented, watching Vespiquen and the other Pokemon struggle for survival whilst still standing on that hill. "That'll come soon. And when tomorrow comes, not only will one of the Andalusian stars be in my possession, I can take some revenge on Celestia. It'll all be so-"

"Absol!" But interrupting Cosmos' monologue was the arrival of another Pokemon. One that had come all the way from Ponyville, sensing this disaster from afar.

Absol.

Absol came lunging in with his horn already glowing. His target was who he saw as Cynthia. But the Disaster Pokemon knew all too well that this was not the Cynthia he knew based on her actions. Destroying those hideouts was enough to let him know that something was amiss.

Cosmos gasped as Absol was ready to use Night Slash, swinging his horn downwards. Cosmos just barely managed to move back, avoiding Absol as Night Slash only managed to trim off a strand of Cynthia's hair.

"Absol!" Lucien and Sienna screeched upon seeing Absol. The Pokemon that had knocked them both out and resulted in them being captured.

"Absol...!" Absol slid on the ground as he made his entrance amidst all the malicious chaos.

"Who are you?!" Cosmos growled at Absol, only for Absol to growl back.

"That's the Pokemon that belongs to Princess Twilight!" Lucien exclaimed. "Absol! A pretty terrifying one too..."

"That's an understatement for him." Sienna shook her head. "That Absol's a force to be reckoned with!"

"Is he now?" Cosmos looked down at the Disaster Pokemon with a malevolent stare. While looking at him, she immediately caused a pink flash, focusing it on Absol. "How much of a force are you then?" The intent was to intimidate him and that stare she gave was certainly scaring Lucien and Sienna.

But not Absol.

Absol was unphased by Cosmos' stare. He didn't even flinch with the flash of light or even the veil of fire that had been summoned by Cosmos once more. None of that was intimidating to the Disaster Pokemon.

"W-Well...Someone's a gutsy one." Cosmos scoffed, slightly annoyed that Absol was unphased.

"If he rats to Twilight, this whole thing will come crumbling down!" Sienna pulled her hair, already fearing the worst.

"I think not. Because this thing isn't leaving here at all." Cosmos had other plans for Absol she immediately attacked the Disaster Pokemon. But not with a Pokemon. Rather, she had used the magic she managed to keep, unleashing it in the form of a beam.

In response, Absol had retaliated with Dark Pulse, meeting with Cosmos' malicious beam. The two of them cancelled each other out with a cloud of smoke emerging. However, pouncing out of it was Absol as he advanced on Cosmos. Cosmos was alarmed by how fast Absol acted as the Dark-Type nearly landed another Night Slash.

Cosmos had been startled. Not something she feels much often as she conjured up a shield to protect herself. Night Slash had connected with the shield, shaking the area as Lucien and Sienna backed away.

"I've never faced someone as aggressive you before...!" Cosmos snarled before pushing her shield to push Absol back. "But it's fine! You'll go down all the same! It's time I use these for once..."

Seeing that Absol might be a handful, Cosmos dog into Cynthia's pockets, going straight for a Poke Ball. She wasn't sure which Pokemon she would send out. But one thing was for certain, not only would it be under her command, but it would've also succumbed to Cosmos' magic. The cosmic aura of Cosmos had already surrounded this Poke Ball as she had thrown it.

Out of it came Roserade.

"Roserade!" Roserade cried out as her eyes were flashing a deep purple, going well with the glow that Cynthia's eyes and everyone else's eyes were radiating.

"I have no idea how to use these creatures, but attack! Crush that Absol!" Cosmos ordered. Pokemon Moves were still a mystery to her, but she could care less about them and how they worked. All she cared about right now was getting Absol out of the way.

"Rose!" Roserade followed the order. Despite not knowing any attacks, due to Cosmos' control over her, Roserade would still pull off a Pokemon Move either way. In this case, Roserade had used Power Whip, slamming a massive whip of thorns towards Absol.

"Sol!" Absol, being the speedy Pokemon that he was, zipped to the side. Absol had then replied by using Dark Pulse once more, shooting it at Roserade while she was wide open.

"R-Roserade!"

"Absol!" Absol was ready to knock some sense into Roserade. And the best way he could think of doing was by pure power. And thankfully, Absol was just the Pokemon for that job as he charged at Roserade with Giga Impact.

"I don't think so!" Cosmos interrupted. Not only could she not care for the attacks of the Pokemon, but she also dismissed the rules, attacking Absol while he was confronting another Pokemon. She put her hand out, using her magic to summon a horrific torrent of fire.

"Sol? Absol!" Despite the emergence of this fire, Absol had powered through it with Giga Imapct's power. The torrent of fire had been blown away as Cosmos was blown back by this. Figuratively of course. Roserade was the one who was blown back as Absol had crashed into her. "Ab!"

"Rose!" Roserade screamed as she was sent flying, going right past Cosmos who was still stunned that Absol could just ignore that fire as it was just a nuisance in the way.

"A-Absol...!" Absol needed to recharge with Giga Impact as always. He stood there with his body smoking, fangs baring while eyeing down Cosmos.

"You think you're so tough!" Cosmos scoffed before digging into Cynthia's pockets again. "If I had my full body and magic back, you wouldn't stand a chance! You don't scare me you dog...cat...whatever you are! Go!" She decided to overwhelm Absol, sending out more of Cynthia's Pokemon.

Her Garchomp, Gastrodon, Glaceon and Kommo-o had been summoned. And even they were under Cosmos' control as well thanks to the magic that affected Cynthia's body. However, not all of them were out. There was one Pokemon missing.

"Uh, Cosmos. Maybe um, throwing them all out isn't the best way to go with this." Lucien said. "You should try and-"

"SILENCE! I DIDN'T ASK YOU!" Cosmos roared at Lucien, ending his sentence. Lucien scrunched his face as he had no say in this. Cosmos had no time for advice on how to battle with Pokemon. "Crush him now! Go!"

"Gar!" Garchomp and the others rushed over to attack Absol all at once. Even they had lost any sense of control as their attacks were not coordinated. And that was certainly wrong as Cynthia's Pokemon are always well-paced and skilled in their attacks.

"Sol!" And this lack of coordination allowed Absol to capitalize. Garchomp came rushing in with Dragon Rush, covering herself in a blue draconic aura. Absol had finished recharging as his speed returned to him. "Absol!"

The Disaster Pokemon jumped over Garchomp's Dragon Rush, knowing that he couldn't engage with it head-on. At least, not with Giga Impact as that would result in him having to recharge once more. He conserved his energy before evading the Mach Pokemon's Dragon Rush.

"Glaceon!"

"Gastrodon!" Glaceon and Gastrodon attacked next, using Stone Edge and Ice Beam which were focused on the air where Absol was. Large crystal stones were thrown along with a chilling beam of ice to boot. Absol had a little bit of air time as he had used that air time to retaliate.

He did so by letting the attacks hit him, causing Cosmos to smile, believing that Absol was finished. She thought too far ahead as Absol did it on purpose, allowing one of his attacks to be boosted in the process. And that attack was Counter. Once hit, Absol had taken the damage from Counter, converting it into energy. His body glowed yellow as he had unleashed a powerful orange pulse that was unleashed onto Glaceon and Gastrodon.

"G-Glaceon!" A super-effective hit on Glaceon that had staggered and knocked it away while Gastrodon also suffered heavy damage from it. The wind blew ferociously from Absol's counter, causing the hair and dress of Cynthia's controlled body to blow in the wind. Cosmos felt that even though she was not on the receiving end of this counterattack. Lucien and Sienna held onto each other with their clothes being blown too.

"Kommo-o!" Kommo-o approached Absol with Outrage as its eyes flashed red. Joining Kommo-o's incoming attack were Garchomp and Roserade with Scale Shot and Petal Blizzard. A blizzard of petals had been unleashed as well as hard and sharp scales from Garchomp's body.

Absol was surrounded by these three attacks as the first to hit him was the claw of Kommo-o's Outrage, slashing him in the face. "A-Absol!" After being slashed, Absol staggered, causing Petal Blizzard and Scale Shot to connect.

He was bombarded, pelted and assaulted by these two attacks while still recovering from Outrage. Afterwards, Kommo-o struck again with Focus Punch, delivering a direct blow to Absol's stomach once it was exposed. "S-Sol!"

Absol felt that one. A super-effective hit as he was sent flying. The Disaster Pokemon rolled on the ground, crashing through the rubbles of broken down trees and rocks in the process. The Dark-Type managed to get back up by sliding onto the ground. He took a lot of damage from that assault, but he refused to stay down.

"Ugh! That should've been the end of you!" Cosmos jeered as she pointed at Absol. "Do your job right! Destroy Absol!"

"Garchomp!" Garchomp and the others continued their assault on Absol. All 5 of them. Absol snarled, knowing that he most likely couldn't take another assault despite how stubborn he may be.

In this predicament, Absol decided to rely on one thing. His surroundings. Living in the wild for years and picking up survival strategies was something he never forgot. Luckily for him, the forest was just what he needed as he could use parts of it to his advantage, even if it was burning down. He backed away slowly as the flames were closer to him, especially with all of the fire affecting the tree branches that had fallen over.

Glaceon had used Ice Beam, aiming to freeze Absol. Absol had used a burning branch to his advantage, hitting it with Night Slash. That branch had been launched with the force of Night Slash, immediately overpowering Night Slash with the heat.

The flames destroyed Glaceon's ice beam, causing an explosion to obliterate the branch and cause a smoke cloud to obscure the visions of his opponents. Garchomp and the other squinted as Absol unleashed Dark Pulse while the time was ripe.

Straight through the smoke, Dark Pulse had hit Gastrodon, separating it from the rest of its teammates. Once Absol got that hit in, he immediately moved elsewhere, keeping his distance away from the opposing Pokemon.

"After him!" Cosmos shouted upon seeing Absol flee. Garchomp and the others chased him down whilst Gastrodon had fallen over, still feeling winded from that sudden Dark Pulse.

Absol looked back to see the 4 Pokemon of Cynthia pursuing him. Garchomp and Kommo-o were the fastest among the two of them. Absol knew that taking all of them on was a dangerous task even if he was brave. And even if they weren't in their right mind, these Pokemon were still powerful as they were trained by Cynthia. To Absol, the only way to beat them is with the skills he learned throughout the years and using their minds against them.

Absol certainly couldn't do the last part but the first part is something he excelled at. He instantly rushed to one of the areas throughout this burning forest. However, obstacles stood in his way. Controlled Pokemon.

"Rhy...Don!" Rhydon was a big obstacle as it had used Earthquake, sending a powerful tremor in the form of golden shockwaves towards the Disaster Pokemon.

Absol leapt into the air, jumping on one of the trees to avoid the shockwave. However, because the tremor shook the area, it started bringing down all the trees. Absol jumped from falling tree to tree, getting as much distance as he could. He managed to use the falling trees to his advantage as all of them came tumbling down. But he wasn't leaving this spot without some damage.

He approached Rhydon from above after it had used Earthquake, utilizing Counter once more. By gathering the damage he received earlier from Cynthia's Pokemon, Absol smashed his glowing horn onto Rhydon's head. "Absol!"

"R-Rhydon!" A super-effective hit. One that was powerful enough to knock Rhydon out as the Rock-Ground-Type had fallen over. Absol continued on his path as Garchomp and Kommo-o were gaining thanks to their superior speed.

Absol travelled through the wreckage, entering and leaving many destroyed homes. He watched the carnage as the fires raged on showing no signs of stopping. Garchomp and Kommo-o obliterated the wreckage while scaring off nearby Pokemon that were still fleeing.

Eventually, Absol reached the area he wanted to be at. The Fairy-Type area. It was once home to the dazzling and twinkling Faires. But now, this beautiful area had been tarnished by the malefic chaos that Cosmos had brought upon the forest. However, the few things that remained were the pools of Fairy Magic. That's what Absol needed as Garchomp and Kommo-o finally caught up to him once he stopped in his tracks. "Gar!"

"Kommo-o!"

"Absol!" Absol roared back at the two Dragons, showing no fear. Kommo-o then lunged at Absol with Focus Punch, preparing to end this in just one blow. Absol knew that Focus Punch was nothing but bad news if it would connect. The Disaster Pokemon had run to the side, narrowly evading Kommo-o's incoming strike.

Absol then looked to the pool, knowing that it was the biggest weapon against the Dragons. And him as well. The Disaster Pokemon was all about taking risks and this was one of them. Even if it meant that he would be injured as well, he had only one thing on his mind right now. Take out the two hardest-hitting Pokemon of Cynthia and deal with the rest.

"Garchomp!" Along came Garchomp, rushing towards Absol. Kommo-o made a quick turnaround, charging up Focus Punch by focusing all of its mental energy into its claws.

"Sol!" Now was Absol's chance. He took the risk, immediately putting his horn into one of the pools of Fairy Magic. He could already feel his weakness being exploited as he closed his eyes. However, he endured it. But he would make that Garchomp and Kommo-o couldn't. "Absol!"

With all of his might, Absol had used the power of Counter to strengthen his horn before then releasing its energy. He used the explosive energy of Counter to erupt the Fairy Magic within the pool. As if it were a geyser going off, the pink liquid had sprung out violently with Absol also flicking his horn to direct the attack.

"Gar?!" The liquid had been exposed to Garchomp and Kommo-o as it had been directed towards them. The two Dragons had been based on Fairy liquid. "Garchomp!"

"Kommo-o!"

Much like how Aura was damaging to Rift Energy, the same could be said for Fairy Magic to Dragon Pokemon. Especially when it was in the form of a massive stream of liquid. Garchomp and Kommo-o were showered by these liquids as Absol didn't receive the worst of it. He took damage, mainly his horn as he went for the next pool.

He did it again. This time, thanks to taking some damage from the pool of Fairy Magic, Counter had been strengthened. And with increased strength in Counter, that meant that the next pool he targeted would have a stronger force added to it. And indeed it did as another stream had been unleashed. Faster and stronger as Garchomp and Kommo-o had been hit by a second one.

They were pushed back by the stream as their bodies were twitching uncontrollably from the mystical liquids that have affected them. It felt like getting hit by multiple Fairy-Type attacks at the same time which was not pleasant at all. While Garchomp felt super-effective damage from this, Kommo-o had it worse.

Being a Dragon-Fighting-Type was his biggest weakness against Fairy Magic. Absol went to another pool, constantly harming himself while also powering up Counter. Bigger and stronger streams had been summoned, relentlessly being thrown in Garchomp and Kommo-o's directions.

"Kommo-o!" Kommo-o could not take anymore. Out of the two Dragons, it ended up fainting first. Garchomp hung in there though. She managed to stay active despite the massive streams that were thrown at her. While she did not faint, the streams ended up carrying her away. Garchomp could be seen being sent out of the Fairy-Type area with droplets of pink liquids flowing in the wind.

"Sol...Absol..." Absol managed to deal with them both. He defeated one Dragon and sent another Dragon off.

However, his work here was not done. He still had to deal with Cosmos herself, the forest burning down and the remaining Pokemon of Cynthia. He took down the biggest problems, but his sights were set on the true problem of it all. Cosmos herself.

Absol rushed off, deciding to evade Glaceon and the others to find Cosmos. He was in a weakened state, but he still had the strength to continue.

Speaking of Cosmos, she continued to watch the carnage go on as the Pokemon here were all starting to become under her control. She walked through the ravaged forest, witnessing how many Pokemon had fainted from this destruction. Some of them couldn't handle all of this pressurizing heat as they passed out from it.

"Ah, this is a nice feeling." Cosmos smiled, revelling in this malice. "But it can only get better from here! You'll be next, Canterlot! And right after that, I'll go for after everywhere else! And maybe that Pokemon World! Yes...that world's interesting. I have a lot to see there. I can't wait!"

"Absol!" Absol had once again interrupted Cosmos' monologuing as he was approaching her at full force while having injuries across his body.

"You again!?" Cosmos roared upon seeing Absol. She was agitated and aggravated with this Pokemon. "You should learn to quit already!" Cosmos had enough with Absol, putting her hand out to use her magic once more. None of Cynthia's Pokemon were around at the moment, leaving her to handle Absol herself.

She caused the rubble of rocks to transform into jagged rocks this time, sending them at Absol. Absol grit his teeth, using Night Slash immediately. He had slashed away at the jagged rocks that had the potential to pierce him. They were disposed of quickly as Cosmos changed up her approach.

She had then used some of the fainted Pokemon as shields, raising their bodies with telekinesis. She held them out, expecting Absol to refrain from attacking. "You'd better stand back you-"

"Sol!" Absol did not. He was still going through with the attack as he had used Counter. An orange pulse burst out of his body, but it had only gone through the ground in a flat position. Just what he needed as it had targeted the legs of Cynthia's possessed body, staying away from the fainted Pokemon.

"G-Gah!" Cosmos screamed as her legs had been damaged, causing her to drop the Pokemon. Absol continued his assault before then lunging at Cosmos. He still had to be careful. This was Cynthia's body after all. The Disaster Pokemon had bashed his body into Cosmos, causing her to almost fall over. "You little....!"

Cosmos' eyes sharpened as she had then used her magic to turn the ground into poison. Only a part of it where she was safe. She could also only do so much of it thanks to her restrained magic. She grinned as Absol's legs had touched the poison once he landed.

"A-Absol!" Absol cried out as the poison stung horribly. But he refused to let it poison his body.

"Thought you could outdo me?! The Spirit of Malice?!" Cosmos boasted, using her limited magic to rip the ground apart. Once the ground could be seen ripping open, a pool of fire was already summoned within it, aiming to consume Absol entirely.

"Sol!" The Disaster Pokemon sucked up the damage before transforming it into power. Counter. He had used Counter once more, transferring it into his paw. He stomped on the ground, not only causing a tremor, but he even stopped the ground from ripping apart. The flames could not fully come out.

"How in the...?!" Cosmos gasped as Absol charged at her with a held back Giga Impact. He wanted to take Cosmos out but not to the point where Cynthia was horribly harmed. He came flying at full force as Cosmos' eyes widened, realizing she couldn't do anything about this.

"ABSOL!" Absol made direct contact. He crashed into Cosmos at full force. The explosive power of Giga Impact had registered through Cosmos as this was by far the hardest thing she had been hit by. And it was not even Absol going all out with it as Lucien and Sienna witnessed a surprising result that they did not expect. With that mighty blow, Cosmos had fallen to the ground.

Lying on her back as Cynthia, Cosmos had been overwhelmed. Lucien and Sienna saw it with their own eyes before realizing what had just happened.

"Absol beat Cosmos!" The Rift Siblings said at the same time. They were stunned to see Absol be the one to be victorious. By himself without any help.

"I-Impossible...!" Cosmos growled, sitting up as she looked at the Disaster Pokemon. "I-I can't lose like this...Not after I have just found a body..."

"Sol...Sol..." Absol breathed in and out as he knew he had won. However, with Cosmos still sitting up, despite winning the battle, Absol knew that he had to find a way to fully finish this, especially with Cynthia's body still being stolen.

He walked up to Cosmos, disrespecting her by putting his foot on her stomach, pinning her down. He made sure to let Cosmos know that she had lost. The Disaster Pokemon's crimson eyes stared into Cosmos' eyes. For the first time ever, Cosmos felt fear.

And the one to strike fear into her was Absol.

"I won't let this be the end..." Cosmos groaned.

"A-Absol..." Absol was out of options. Even though he won, he had no way to free Cynthia from Cosmos. And Cosmos knew this.

"I need to recover...And I'll make sure you're out of the way too!" Cosmos knew that she had to recover her strength after what had just happened. There was only one place to head back to. The dimension she was banished to. She could still access it as she immediately grabbed Absol's horn. "You're coming with me!"

"A-Absol!?" Absol gasped as his body had been lit up with the colours of stars. Cosmos grinned as her body lit up as well, radiating those stars. Absol charged up Night Slash onto his horn, only for it to be too late.

Cosmos had sent herself and Absol away from this dimension as a flash of dark pink energy was left behind, almost blinding Lucien and Sienna. Before they knew it, Cosmos and Absol were gone.

An unknown dimension.

Cosmos retreated to the one place she could regenerate her strength. This dimension was located within the stars far out in the galaxy. Upon arriving here, she had let go of Absol as her hand had already been harmed from touching his horn.

"A-Absol...?!" Absol gasped as he suddenly felt himself floating. He felt perplexed and had a bit of whiplash before noticing that his surroundings had changed. Drastically.

"How do you like this?!" Cosmos exclaimed. "Right now, you're in this dimension with me. I call it the Malice Dimension in my name."

"Absol...!" The Dark-Type snarled at Cosmos before twitching. He had taken too much damage from what he had gone through, making him unable to do much more.

"You may have beaten me, but you will be trapped here you pesky Pokemon! " Cosmos landed on a tower of spikes. Being in this dimension was starting to heal her already. "I still have to bring my body back to full strength. A shame you won't be here to see my return."

Cosmos was already prepared to return to Earth. All she wanted to do was keep Absol here. She saw him as too big of a threat to keep out in the world, thus, she chose to leave him here.

"Absol!" Absol tried running to her, but he was floating in nothing but space right now, unable to run or jump.

"Useless! You'll be out of the way...and my return will still be made!" Cosmos chuckled with her body once again lighting up with that same cosmic energy. "Don't worry. I'll take good care of your friends. Especially that Twilight Sparkle that's close to you. They'll all be in for a world of malice. They will suffer!"

Cosmos had let those become the last words she said to Absol before disappearing in a flash. Her laugh echoed throughout this horrific dimension, leaving Absol behind.

"Absol!" Absol cried out with his voice also echoing out, overlapping with Cosmos' laugh. He was now trapped. Trapped within this Malice Dimension full of horrific things that were a danger to him in every way.

Knowing this, Absol feared for his friends. For Equestria. And for Twilight. He cried out once more into the endless dimension, this time screaming Twilight's name.

Frenzy Forest. Nightfall.

Cosmos had returned, right where she was previously. She had recovered some of her strength from being in the dimension for a few seconds. Absol had been left behind while she was free to return here by using Cynthia's body. Lucien and Sienna were still processing everything that had happened.

"Hah...Ha..." The Spirit of Malice breathed in and out before recollecting herself. "That was surprising. I didn't expect that one Pokemon to cause so much trouble."

"You left Absol behind...?" Sienna uttered.

"I certainly did. Rightfully so." Cosmos stood up, holding her head. "But...if I'm correct...since that was the Pokemon belonging to that princess from Ponyville, are you telling me that there are others just as dangerous as him."

"Y-Yes..." Lucien stuttered.

"That creates an issue. But nothing I can't solve." Cosmos laughed, seeing the Pokemon as a massive threat but also a means to an end. "I hate to do this, but I believe we'll have this forest back to the way it was. I refuse to leave a trace behind. The Pokemon here will still work for me...including others I have in mind."

"What about tomorrow then? You're still planning on attacking Equestria by then?" Sienna asked.

"I'll sort that out when that day comes." Cosmos sighed. "I want those other Gym Leaders by my side still. And I still need to head to that room to find myself one of the Andalusian stars. Understood."

"R-Right..." The Rift Siblings nodded in unison, very slowly.

"We'll clean up this mess after it's done. And if we can't then we'll leave with all of the Pokemon being on my side. Then...none of them will tell the tale. If they can after it's all burned down that is? Gahahaha!" Even after all that, Cosmos couldn't help but continue revelling in the moment of malice.

The destruction was dying down, but the effects it would leave behind were catastrophic. Lucien and Sienna along with the controlled Gym Leaders were off to do some cleanup for the night so as to erase any trace of this horrific event. Absol was trapped and the goal to find the second Andalusian was still set for tomorrow.

With the overwhelming numbers of controlled Pokemon rising, there was seemingly no way for any remaining Pokemon to withstand the storm that was approaching. Cosmos' quest to restore her full body was only getting started as the journey continues.
