//------------------------------// // Rambunctious Teamwork // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Kalos Region. Out in the forest near Ninja Village. Day. Scootaloo had just come across Sanpei and the bowl of dumplings. The test was still on. Grab the bowl of dumplings and have a nice meal in the morning. It wasn't as easy as it seemed and the first early minutes of this test made it clear. At the same time, a stampede was occurring within the forest. Due to Sweetie Belle using a bottle of Sweet Scent Great to try and lure Greninja out, it was about to backfire heavily. "There you are...That bowl of dumplings is ours!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "You're pretty direct, arent you, Scootaloo?" said Sanpei as he leaned next to a tree with the bowl still in his hand. "That's actually good. Sometimes, ninjas don't have to be stealthy and secretive. Sometimes direct attacks can work if used at the right moment." "Is this a right moment then?" "I wouldn't say that..." "Well, whatever. Give us that bowl! Let's Ponyta! Gible!" Scootaloo hopped onto Ponyta's back as she, the Fire Horse Pokemon and the Land Shark Pokemon immediately rushed towards Sanpei. "Bit too soon." Sanpei wagged his finger as he took one step back away from the blade of grass in front of him and no more than that. He seemed calm despite him having pursuers who were determined to grab a bite from that bowl. That was because this was a part of his plan. The moment he stepped back and Scootaloo and her Pokemon advanced, something had been triggered. Ponyta's hoofstep and Gible's footstep had activated something hidden with the blades of grass. Within it, a rope had been discovered as it had immediately glued itself onto its victims. "Huh?" "Pony?" "Gible?" And before the two of them knew it, they had been strung up by a surprise rose, rising towards the tree that it hung from. All part of Sanpei's plan. "Woah!" Scootaloo cried out along with her Pokemon. The rope had wrapped around each of them and unfortunately for Scootaloo, since she was on Ponyta's back, she was more stuck than her Pokemon. "Easiest trick in the book right there," Sanpei smirked while twirling the bowl. "Gaah!" Scootaloo roared, feeling a bit silly for falling for it. Then again, it was hidden within the blade of grass so it wasn't fully on her. "Bye!" After successfully tricking Scootaloo, Sanpei made his leave, disappearing somewhere else in the forest whilst the stampede was building up. "Ninjas are so cool but so unfair too...Just you wait! We're gonna catch up to you in no time!" She flailed her hooves around with a brash nature. "Ponyta! Burn the ropes away!" "Pony...!" Thankfully, Ponyta's flaming mane and tail were perfect for this. He intensified the flame on his mane, using it to burn away the rope. At the same time, Gible was chewing on the rope which was proving to be just as effective as the flames. And with that combination, they were able to break free from the rope trap with ease. Barely even a struggle. After breaking free, they dropped to the ground with Ponyta still carrying Scootaloo as the ropes were burnt away. "Okay! Let's keep the chase up!" Scootaloo cheered as her fiery spirit was burning as bright as Ponyta's mane and the summer sun. After escaping, they continued their hunt. Unfortunately, Sanpei predicted something like this would happen. So he set another one up. When running ahead, this time, they didn't step on a blade of grass. Instead, they stepped on some small dirt mounts that triggered the next trap. This time, Scootaloo, Ponyta and Gible were met with something other than rope. A Pokemon Trap. Specifically designed to hold most Pokemon except the really big ones. This trap was in the shape of a bottle as it popped out of the ground, originally in two halves. Once those two halves came together, they formed the full bottle shape, placing Scootaloo and her Pokemon inside of it. "Oh come on!" Somewhere north of the forest. The stampede was raging on. Every Pokemon here was heading for the source of the Sweet Scent, rumbling the forest in the process. Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon had followed the Pokemon whilst also trying to find Greninja. They figured that Greininja would be within this since Sweet Scent was attracting the Pokemon. Unfortunately, Greninja wasn't easily swayed by the Sweet Scent. Appearing in the north section was Sanpei himself as he was also looking for the source of the stampede. He appeared on top of a hill, finding the stampeding Pokemon. "There they are." Sanpei said whilst holding the bowl with one hand. After arriving, he noticed that the Pokemon didn't have fear in the eyes like he thought. Instead, it was one of enjoyment. "They don't look scared. They look happy. Then what's with the stampede?" Sanpei's confusion was rising. Usually, Pokemon stampede's only happen when something frightens or chases down the Pokemon. Mainly the smaller ones. But this was a different case. "Unless...they're being drawn to something?" Curious as to what could be causing the Pokemon such happiness, Sanpei began following them, hopping from tree to tree and hill to hill to keep up with these colourful creatures. "Emol!" But as he gained higher ground, looking at the Pokemon below, a certain Sky Squirrel Pokemon had spotted Sanpei just by gliding. Apple Bloom's Emolga of course. She had found Sanpei from a high height. Really, Emolga was the best option for this since she could cover the skies without a doubt. Earlier, she was also attracted to the scent of the Sweet Scent Great. But Silver Spoon's Glameow slapped some sense into her with Wake-Up Slap thankfully. Now she was really getting her head in the game. "Uh oh!" Sanpei realized he had been found as Emolga soared towards him with Acrobatics. After being found, Sanpei made a quick turn, attempting to avoid the incoming Electric-Flying-Type. "Emolga!" Emolga swooped through the air, holding her hands out as she was going to dive face-first into the bowl. But that didn't happen. Sanpei gave Emolga the slip by tossing the bowl into the air the moment the Sky Squirrel Pokemon swooped down. "Emol?" After tossing it up, Sanpei then hopped to the next tree, gaining a higher height as he jumped after the bowl of dumplings. Emolga looked up, realizing she had been tricked. The Electric-Flying-Type then attempted another go at grabbing the bowl with some more Acrobatics. "Gotcha!" Sanpei grabbed the bowl as he started rolling midair whilst Emolga approached him. To evade Emolga once more, Sanpei then jumped into an acre of trees that were enough to hopefully mask him from the Sky Squirrel Pokemon. "Emol!" Emolga missed Sanpei yet again when ascending. Now she would have to head back down and also alert Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon. Thanks to her aerial advantage, even if Sanpei hid in the trees, he couldn't escape Emolga for obvious reason. By using Thunder Shock, Emolga shot out bolts of lighting into the sky, causing them to explode at a certain height. This acted as a signal for Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon. And they most definitely saw it. "There!" Apple Bloom pointed out after witnessing the bolts of thunder. They followed its location, heading straight for the Sky Squirrel Pokemon. They would also have to evade the stampeding Pokemon as well. Speaking of which, Sanpei had hidden behind a tree as the Pokemon ran past him. He had almost been trampled by them after making his landing. But that small moment of pause allowed Emolga to close in, spotting the ninja through the leaves. And to make things clearer for Apple Bloom and Silver Spoon to see him, Emolga used Thunder Shock again. This time, she struck the trees, startling Sanpei as he was forced to jump out of the shades of the trees, exposing him to the sun. Not only that, but the stampeding Pokemon were also within his path. "Yes! Worked like a charm!" Silver Spoon shouted out as they had found Sanpei and the bowl. "Glameow, grab it!" "Glam!" Glameow pounced off the ground at a high height, claws out and mouth open. "So they just wanted to drag me out of the stampede? Clever." Sanpei nodded as he could applaud this use of teamwork. Working as a team was important. Not just as ninjas or Pokemon Trainers. Or Pokemon in general. Just everyone altogether. "Meow!" Meowtstic hissed as she used the Pokemon as a pedestal to gain higher heights. By hopping on the head of Sawsbuck and then next an Amoongus before reaching Sanpei. "Emol!" At the same time, Emolga was also heading for Sanpei himself with Acrobatics in use. Now Sanpei was being approached from two sides at nimble speeds. All aiming for the bowl. "Heh." But, Sanpei wouldn't make things so easy. The moment Glameow and Emolga got close, Sanpei had used the Body Switch technique, replacing his spot with one of the stampeding Pokemon. A Politoed. "Poli?" "Gla?!" Glameow and Emolga gasped after seeing that Sanpei had disappeared in an exchange for the Frog Pokemon. They halted their attacks, but they couldn't halt their movements in time. Thus, they both crashed into Politoed's stomach and back. "Emo!" "Politoed?" Politoed barely felt the impact as his body jiggled afterwards. But Glameow and Emolga certainly felt it as their bodies vibrated, causing them both to fall over. "Not fast enough!" Sanpei said as he standing near another tree with the bowl, grinning at the Catty and Sky Squirrel Pokemon. "Gotcha!" But, as a double surprise, dropping from the trees below was Apple Bloom. The little earth pony then landed on Sanpei's face as a sneak attack. Her very first one too. "Huh?! Hey!" Sanpei cried out as his eyes were being blocked by hooves. He started stumbling around while somehow keeping his balance with the bowl. So far, not a single dumpling had fallen from it. His stumbling meant that the stampeding Pokemon were most likely to hit him. Luckily, the Pokemon were leaving the area and continuing up north. "Now, Silver Spoon!" "Okay!" Silver Spoon nodded after Apple Bloom's call as that was her cue. This was all just a part of their plan. Blind Sanpei and get that bowl. She jumped out of the bushes, pouncing towards the bowl, ready to grab it. "Grr...Greninja!" Sanpei called for Greninja as he suddenly tossed the bowl of dumplings into the air while still having his eyes covered. "Huh?!" Silver Spoon looked up as her pounce had failed, causing her to crash onto the floor, landing near Sanpei's hoof. "Emolga, get it!" Apple Bloom commanded. "Emol!" Emolga took the skies, soaring towards the dumpling bowl as it had not turned upside down at all, keeping the dumplings safe. Once this test ends, those dumplings are going to be in good condition and have perfect taste afterwards. Hopefully, they do not turn cold soon. Sanpei lifted Apple Bloom off his head as he saw that Emolga was approaching the bowl. However, moving faster than Emolga, through the trees and causing them to rustle was Sanpei's partner. Greninja. "Grenin!" Jumping out of the trees and having the golden sun beam down on him, Greninja had beaten Emolga to the bowl, grabbing it. The Ninja Pokemon made one stylish entrance as he held the bowl close to him, reaching the ground and sliding on it. "Emolga?!" "Greninja again?!" Apple Bloom chided as Sanpei placed her down. After doing so, Sanpei then rushed to Greninja's side whilst his pursuers stood before him. "Great job, Greninja." Sanpei breathed in and out as he rubbed his eyes and held his head. Apple Bloom's earth pony strength could certainly be felt after she landed that sneak attack. "Greninja." "You've all done a pretty good job so far." Sanpei stood up, adjusting his clothes. "You're definitely shaping up to be pretty good ninjas from what I've seen. Catching me off guard and everything." "Mhm." Apple Bloom nodded. "We learned a lot from the Pokemon and here too." "Enough to make us a cut above most foals out there." Silver Spoon spoke with confidence in her eyes and smile as she adjusted her glasses. "I think I've done enough moving for the time being. Let's-" "Run away!" Interrupting Sanpei was the screeching voice of Sweetie Belle. And that made sense considering two things. Number one, they were in the north part of the forest which was where the scent of the Sweet Scent originally came from. And number two was that the bottle of Sweet Scent Great that Sweetie Belle carried with her was also a magnet. Due to it having such a potent smell, the Pokemon were drawn towards Sweetie Belle instead of the leaf that the liquid was dropped on. And it didn't help that the aroma had also gotten on Sweetie Belle after carrying it with her since this journey began. And right next to her was Diamond Tiara. And behind them were the rampaging Pokemon, chasing after the unicorn, earth pony and their teammates. "Sweetie Belle?" said Apple Bloom. "Diamond Tiara?" Silver Spoon also spoke. "The stampede of Pokemon!" Sanpei exclaimed. "My Sweet Scent plan didn't go so well!" Sweetie Belle wailed as she took out the bottle, turning around. "Here! Take it!" To try and stop the Pokemon from chasing her, the little unicorn chose to get rid of the bottle, throwing it far away. It worked. Somewhat. Some Pokemon were attracted to the smell of the bottle as it was sent flying in the distance. Unfortunately, not all of the Pokemon went for the bottle. Some still went for Sweetie Belle. "Seriously?!" Sweetie Belle grimaced, seeing that her plan didn't fully work. "We should probably take care of that..." Sanpei said to Greninja. "Grenin." "We can take advantage of this actually." Silver Spoon gasped, coming to a realization. "Glameow, Sand Attack and whirl it around! Right up front!" "Glameow!" The Catty Pokemon put her claws out, allowing them to glow as she faced them towards Sanpei, Greninja and the stampeding Pokemon. She was going to attack amidst the chaos. "Huh?!" Sanpei heard Silver Spoon's command, causing him and Greninja to turn around and take their attention away from the approaching Pokemon, Sweetie Belle and Diamond Tiara. "Meow!" Glameow then spun her paws around, generating sand as she used the same sand hurricane tactic she did on Greninja earlier. A spiral of sand went flying, threatening to make things worse. "Not good! Greninja Water Shuriken!" "Greninja!" Greninja formed a Water Shuriken with one hand, throwing it towards the spiral of sand. Upon collision, the attacks cancelled each other out, causing an explosion of water and sand collectively. "Again!" But, Glameow went for a second Sand Attack, throwing it forward. "Gre?!" Greninja gasped, seeing another Sand Attack coming his way through the smoke. It was closer this time. To react quickly and keep the food clean, the Ninja Pokemon used Double Team, splitting himself into 10 copies. The real Greninja moved to the side, protecting the bowl whilst 5 Greninja clones had been taken out. This time, it was easy to tell which Greninja was the real one considering he was holding the bowl. "Gre-nin-nin!" The other 5 Greninja then ran over to try and stop this stampede as they split up. Sanpei himself went with the copies. "After that Greninja!" Apple Bloom shouted, pointing her hoof towards the real Greninja with the bowl. Emolga and Glameow chased after the real Greninja with Feint Attack and Acrobatics. Emolga went ahead, zipping around and leaving behind afterimages of her rapid movements while approaching the Ninja Pokemon. Greninja narrowed his eyes as he formed a single Night Slash blade. When Emolga got close, Greninja raised the blade, using it to block the Sky Squirrel. "Emol!" Emolga closed her eyes as she smashed her head right into the blade of Night Slash. And she made a pretty hard hit too, causing the blade to tremble a bit along with Greninja. "G-Grenin! "Emolga!" Emolga then suddenly gave a grin off, knowing that something else was coming. Greninja wondered what that grin was as coming right from the side was Glameow with Feint Attack. And she did just that. Glameow made a feint, juking Greninja out to make him think that Glameow would go after the ball, prompting the Ninja Pokemon to raise his arm. But that only allowed Glameow to hit Greninja's side instead. "Glam!" "Ja!" Greninja felt that as the bowl of dumplings was sent into the air after that hit once more. It's a miracle that none of the food had dropped at all. "Emolga!" ANd as Greninja had been struck, Emolga followed up with Thunder Shock. Right up close. By summoning electricity from her body, the Sky Squirrel Pokemon covered the Ninja Pokemon with 20,000 volts of electricity. "Grenin?!" The other Greninja clones looked to the sky, seeing that their real self had been shocked and the dumpling was high up. They left one single Greninja and Sanpei to deal with the stampeding Pokemon. The clone Greninja had grabbed Sweetie Belle since she was the major cause of this. The clone then jumped into the air with the little unicorn, prompting the Pokemon to look up in the air. Diamond Tiara ran to the side, finding the nearest bush to escape from the stampeding Pokemon. Sanpei himself went straight for the Sweet Scent bottle that had been thrown away, figuring that it could be fully used to send them away. But then again, Sweetie Belle tried that already. But Sanpei had a better way of doing it. "Oh! Thanks!" Sweetie Belle looked up at the clone. "Grenin." As for the other Greninja, one of the copies grabbed the bowl from the sky, sliding on the ground whilst the other clones surrounded Apple Bloom, Silver Spoon, Emolga and Glameow. The real Greninja had also moved back, joining with his clones. "Emolga, Air Slash!" "Glameow, use Play Rough!" "Meow!" Glameow hissed, pouncing towards the clone that held the bowl as Emolga sent cutting waves of air towards all the other copies. "Greninja!" The clone tossed the bowl away, allowing another clone to catch it as the cutting waves of Air Slash had destroyed it. The other Greninja clone caught the bowl, jumping in the air to avoid Air Slash. It was about to toss it towards another Greninja, but the other Greninja had been taken out by Glameow's Play Rough with just one hit. "Emolga!" Emolga then aimed her Air Slash in the air, shooting it at the clone. "Ninja!" Yet again, the clone tossed the bowl downwards to the next Greninja he could find. The cutting waves of Air Slash had missed the bowl but had destroyed the clone in the sky as the real Greninja caught the bowl. "Glameow, Fury Swipes!" "Glam!" Summoning her claws and extending them, the Catty Pokemon leapt forward, ready to swipe at the real Greninja. The remaining copies got in the way, however, acting as a shield for the real Greninja. "Meow?" "Emolga!" Emolga had, however, taken care of those clones from above via Air Slash. Not only that, as the slash take out the copies, but it also created a dust cloud for Glameow to take advantage of. Instead of moving forward, the Normal-Type Pokemon zoomed to the side, aiming to slash Greninja there. "Ja!" But Greninja's sharp senses kicked in. The Ninja Pokemon held out a blade with Night Slash, spotting Glameow lunge out of the smoke. He used the purple blade, blocking Glameow's swipe. "Glameow!" Glameow didn't stop there. She kept swiping towards Greninja while Greninja managed to clash with her claws with just one hand. As for the stampeding Pokemon, Sanpei found the bottle, jumping to the highest tree he could find. The ninja then looked down, seeing how the Pokemon were all standing there, trying to reach Sweetie Belle. At least, the ones who couldn't fly. The ones who could fly went straight for her and the Greninja clone holding her on a tree. "Greninja, go down!" Sanpei commanded the clone. "Nin!" By jumping down the tree and Sweetie Belle screaming, the clone had descended, evading the airborne Pokemon and standing before the rest of them. The Pokemon were now ready to run after Sweetie Belle again as the little unicorn gulped. "Now!" Sanpei made his move as he jumped off the tree. And with a stylish flip, he poured the bottle of Sweet Scent down. Not just one target. But multiple. He managed to coat all of the Pokemon in the Sweet Scent Great collectively with precise aiming. Now all of the Pokemon were full of the aroma. And with them having the aroma, that meant that they weren't attracted to one thing. But to each other. The Pokemon all stopped chasing after Sweetie Belle and just focused on each other this time. "There." "Phew." Sweetie Belle sighed. "Thanks for that." "Grenin." The clone nodded, essentially saying that it was glad to help out. But as it gave a nod, the clone had disappeared. Not by its own will, but by sparks of flames that had struck its head. "Ja!" "Huh?" Sweetie Belle was then dropped afterwards, sitting on the ground. Those sparks came from a Fire-Type Pokemon. And who else who would have one now than Scootaloo. "Finally...no more running!" Scootaloo breathed in and out as her hungry stomach was getting to her. She had a bigger appetite than anyone here right now. "That bowl is ours!" "Meow!" Glameow had been knocked back by Greninja's Night Slash, failing to get the bowl. Both Glameow and Emolga were on the verge of fainting even if Greninja has been holding back his true strength for a while now. "There's the real Greninja!" Scootaloo locked her eyes onto the real Greninja with the bowl before throwing out a Poke Ball. "Let's add some extra help! Come out, Cyndaquill!" "Cyndaquill!" "Ponyta, use Flame Charge! Gible, Slash! And Cyndaquill, Flame Wheel!" All at once, the three of Scootaloo's Pokemon advanced towards the real Grenina with sharpened claws and auras of fire. "Grenin!" The real Greninja saw that things were getting close now. Ponyta went ahead of his teammates, blazing through the ground as Greninja formed a Water Shuriken to block the Flame Charge. "Nin!" To keep the bowl safe, Greninja passed it on to Sanpei, throwing it over him. As he pushed Ponyta back with Water Shuriken, along came Gible, jumping on Ponyta's back, using it as a platform for a higher height. "Gible!" The Land Shark Pokemon swiped his claws down, only to be met with Greninja's blade. "Hoh!" Sanpei caught the bowl that Greninja tossed towards him. However, since Sweetie Belle was near him, the young unicorn suddenly grabbed onto his leg with her hoof. "Huh?!" "Gotcha!" And out of the bush came Diamond Tiara who grabbed onto Sanpei's arm, trying to reach the bowl. This was similar to what Apple Bloom pulled earlier. "This again...!" Sanpei groaned. "Come on...!" Diamond Tiara flailed her hoof, trying to grab the bowl whilst her Purrloin made an entrance, jumping out of the bush too and coming from above. "No, you don't!" Sanpei then used the Body Swap technique, swapping places with a log. Purrloin ended up crashing into the log whilst Sweetie Belle and Diamond Tiara fell. Sanpei backed away as all eyes locked onto him. "Cyndaquill turn!" "Cynda!" Cyndaquill turned with Flame Wheel, going for Sanpei instead. He drifted along the ground while Gible was knocked back by a Water Shuriken from Greninja. "Gib!" "Come on, Ponyta! Scootaloo jumped onto Ponyta's back. "Let's go! Gible, handle Greninja for us, please?" "Gible!" Gible nodded as he could do that. Hopefully. If he didn't faint that was. Gible could certainly hold his own, plus he had Glameow and Emolga to support him. But they were on the verge of fainting so they had to make it all count. "Emolga, Thunder Shock!" "Glameow, Feint Attack!" "Gible!" And as for Gible, Dragon Breath was for him. Glameow moved ahead, giving Greninja another feint, but this time, Greninja saw it coming. He blocked Glameow's feint, pushing her away, but afterwards, he had to deal with a light blue draconic breath and multiple bolts of lightning. The Ninja Pokemon used Water Shuriken as a shield, holding it up with two hands to block the incoming ranged attacks. He was able to hold them back as Gible and Emolga poured it on, choosing to keep the pressure on Greninja. "Play Rough!" "Glameow!" And while Greninja was holding back Thunder Shock and Dragon Breath that was Glameow's cue. Greninja couldn't defend himself on other parts at the moment, giving the Catty Pokemon the chance to attack. She pounced towards Greninja, covering herself in a pink aura as she slashed her claw onto the Ninja Poke's stomach, dealing super-effective damage. "G-Grenin!" Greninja's eyes widened as he certainly felt that. And after being struck by Play Rough, Dragon Breath and Thunder Shock broke through the Water Shuriken due to Greninja losing focus. The Water-Dark-Type had taken super-effective damage again in the form of Thunder Shock and neutral damage with Dragon Breath. Those combination of attacks were enough to send the Ninja Pokemon flying as he rolled on the ground afterwards. "G-Glameow..." Glameow was exhausted as she laid on her back. Silver Spoon went over to pick her partner up along with Apple Bloom who saw Emolga falling. "Go, go, go!" Scootaloo pointed her hoof forward as Ponyta charged towards Sanpei. Speaking of Sanpei, he jumped over Cyndaquill's Flame Wheel, evading it. "Cynda!" Cyndaquill then turned around for another Flame Wheel, going for another one. But Sanpei avoided that as well. He wasn't going to let this bowl be touched for a second. "Get him!" Sweetie Belle bellowed as they all collectively decided to overwhelm Sanpei by just flooding him like a flock of Wingull. And that's what they did. They all collectively ran at Sanpei with their hooves, claws and arms out. "Greninja, help!" Sanpei showed his teeth, a bit intimidated by the approaching ponies and Pokemon. "Ninja!" And moving at a breakneck speed, Greninja dashed over, standing in front of Sanpei, becoming his shield. The Ninja Pokemon used both Night Slash and Water Shuriken, holding the two weapons in both hands. It was going to be a close one. Greninja was ready to throw and slash at his opponents the moment they came close as Sanpei was prepared to bolt away with the bowl. Silver Spoon and Apple Bloom watched as Scootaloo jumped Ponyta to try and get the first touch. Sanpei's eyes shifted as he saw Scootaloo approaching the bowl with her mouth open and hooves out. He was ready to juke her out and get the bowl away. "Emol...Emolga!" But that's when Emolga used a tiny jolt of electricity, shooting it out of her fingertips. That one bolt travelled faster than everyone else as it was aimed for the bowl. But instead, it struck Sanpei's hands, giving him a sudden shock, causing him to lose balance on the bowl of dumplings. "Ow!" "Aha!" Scootaloo exclaimed as she saw the bowl tilt. And that was all they needed. With one snap of her teeth, the young pegasus had chomped on the first dumpling while her hoof connected with the bowl. And that was that. Scootaloo rolled on the ground as Sanpei maintained his balance with the bowl as well. But it was too late. Scootaloo had accomplished the main objective as she chewed on the delicious dumpling. "Mmm! So good! It was worth it!" She exclaimed. "Oh...You did it." Sanpei blinked a few times as Greninja halted his attack along with everyone else. It all came to an end at last as Scootaloo savoured this taste. "Alright, Scootaloo!" Diamond Tiara and everyone flocked to Scootaloo, praising and congratulating her for succeeding in this test of endurance and pursuit. They lifted her as she swallowed the dumpling, filling her stomach as Sanpei nodded in approval. Greninja sighed as he sat down, hungry himself. Ninja Village. Afternoon. The training had ended and everyone had a fill of some delicious dumplings. It was a fairly intense test. More intense for a child to handle. But these children found a way to overcome it. With the skills that they've learnt over the years with the Pokemon involved and the Pokemon themselves. "You five sure are something," said Sanpei, filling his mouth. "I think you've done a pretty good job. You're definitely going to make interesting ninjas. Less on the quiet side and more on the overwhelming side." "Ain't we?" Apple Bloom chuckled whilst stuffing two dumplings in her mouth, making her cheeks look bloated. "Wait till Applejack, Granny and Big Mac hear about this." "We got to do our own intense event that was super difficult!" Sweetie Belle cheered. "We're certified Pokemon Trainers now!" "Really?" Diamond Tiara fed her Purrloin. "Your teamwork was great. While ninjas can work individually, together, they are almost unstoppable. And you all showed that you can get something done when coordinating together. Just like me, my brothers and Greninja." "Greninja." "Yeah. Working as a team is pretty neat, isn't it?" Silver Spoon laughed. "Well, tomorrow's gonna be our last training day before you all head off. We'll make it simple and short, how does that sound?" "Works for us." Scootaloo nodded as everyone was in a collective agreement. They ate the afternoon away, filling those grumbling stomachs until they were so full the only thing they could do was just fall to the ground and head to bed. They certainly have the potential to be ninjas. Maybe not the best, but certainly ones that are hard to predict. Until they grow up, that might change. But thanks to Ash and Ho-oh that might take a while. But either way, they're happy to do whatever they can in this strange merged life filled with the strange and wonderful creatures we call Pokemon as the journey continues. Chapter 479 End.
