The Spatial Pokemon

Author's Note:

This marks Palkia's official full-on appearance in this story.

Equestria. Kingdra Durance. Nightfall.

"Oh, man..." Ash and his Pokemon had recently been sent away on a massive chunk of a mountain landscape after a fierce battle against Cosmos. In a desperate attempt to save herself and recover, she had moved the land itself, causing it to drift away from her, taking Ash and his friends along with him. "Is everyone okay?"

"Pikachu." Pikachu and the others were fine but certainly winded. But they would recover afterwards. Right now, they had to focus on getting back to Cosmos after she sent them all away.

"Let's head back. Cosmosis gonna be at Canterot, no doubt." Ash got back up, adjusting his hat. Everyone else jumped back up, ready to keep going.

However, before they could leave, Lucario felt something. When standing back up, his Aura reacted to something with a familiar presence. His eyes flared blue as he could feel another Aura presence nearby.

"Rrr..." Lucario, after sensing this Aura, immediately ran off, deviating from his team.

"Huh? Lucario?" Ash noticed Lucario take off. However, Lucario had shared this information with Ash via an Aura Pulse that allowed him to communicate with the Alola Champion. "Oh...I gotcha!" Ash followed after him along with Pikachu and the rest of Ash's Pokemon.

The Aura that Lucario could sense was calling to him. He closed his eyes before reopening them and gaining that blue glow once more. With this vision, he could see the Auras of others. The Pokemon that lived here all had their Auras viewed by Lucario, but they weren't the main focus.

The main focus came from another Pokemon that was currently not out in the open, but rather, inside of something. Right next to the waters, resting on a mound of sand was a Poke Ball as Lucario came to a screeching halt. "Luca!"

"A Poke Ball?" Ash certainly wasn't expecting this to be found. However, when faced with it, much like Lucario, he could feel the Aura coming from it. The Aura spoke to both Ash and Lucario as Ash realized what this may be.

He then thought back to his encounter with Cosmos and how she used all of Cynthia's current Pokemon on hand. Except for one. Cynthia's Lucario.

"Wait a sec...Lucario?!"

Canterlot. Nightfall.

Palkia had arrived.

The Guardian of Space had made its first appearance here in this world and with a grand one too as it stood behind Cosmos, stunning the Spirit of Malice and everyone else here that had seen Palkia appear.

"Who's that Pokemon?!" Fluttershy gasped.

"It's Palkia!" Hollow exclaimed as he and Cold Colt were also taken aback by Palkia, mainly for its sudden appearance while everyone else was just downright amazed by the Pokemon itself.

"Palkia...? I've seen that in a stature before!" Scootaloo recognized Palkia from the statue she saw at Lilypad Town. She quickly took out her Pokedex to scan the Spatial Pokemon.

"Palkia. The Spatial Pokemon. Palkia is said to live in a gap in the spatial dimension parallel to ours. It has the ability to distort space. It is said that space becomes more stable with Palkia’s every breath. Palkia's total control over the boundaries of space enable it to transport itself to faraway places or even other dimensions. The birth of Palkia was what caused the walls of our world to disappear, creating a sky that spans for infinity."

"So that's Palkia?!" Fluttershy recalled the name Palkia before from Twilight along with Applejack. They had finally seen it for the first time and the similarities to Dialga could definitely be seen.

Palkia looked down at Cosmos, seeing her as the main reason why there was suddenly a massive cut between both worlds' space along with space itself being warped constantly from Cosmos' actions.

"What? Here to lecture me?" Cosmos scoffed while facing the Spatial Pokemon, showing no fear. To match Palkia's size, she had suddenly taken on her astral form in Cynthia's body once more, growing once more. "I can match your size so easily, you overgrown lizard!"

Palkia was unamused. It was here to fix space and put a stop to the main catalyst. Cosmos laughed in Palkia's face before sharpening her fingernails. Much like what the Pokedex described, space was being repaired just by Palkia breathing as Cosmos swung her sharp extended fingernails at the Spatial Pokemon.

Palkia immediately retaliated, raising its arm up as it had blocked Cosmos' swing. And so casually to boot as the nails had almost shattered from being blocked. Cosmos let out a short gasp before being the next to be attacked. Palkia retaliated in a heartbeat, using Hydro Pump to do so.

A massive blast of high volume water had been unleashed on Cosmos' face, pushing her away from Palkia. She went flying off the balcony while also heading straight for the streets of Canterlot. Everyone else was in the way, potentially being collateral damage as they immediately started moving so as to avoid being crushed.

That went for the residents of Canterlot who were being forced to dance as they finally moved from their imprisoned spots while Cosmos was incoming. Cosmos went flying with her arms and legs breaking parts of different buildings when passing by. She then crashed to the ground with her body tumbling for a bit.

Cosmos held her face as it was drenched in water even with her astral form. The Spirit of Malice used her magic to dry herself before hissing and growling at the Water-Dragon-Type. "Lucky shot..."

Cosmos was originally planning on attacking Fluttershy and her group, but now that had changed. Palkia was the target. She had then decided to pull a sneak attack on Palkia while it wasn't looking. From the tear in the sky, large flaming spikes came raining down at high speeds with Cosmos having a wide grin on her face.

However, Palkia had juked her out, making her think she had pulled off a successful sneak attack without any suspicion by forming a pink barrier around its body. The barrier had immediately blocked off the spikes, causing them to combust. Cosmos' smile was turned upside down right afterwards as Palkia then approached her.

Cosmos had summoned a Dynasite platform underneath her, causing her to rise up while also bringing along some Dynasite Cubes in the process. However, Palkia soon proved that not even Dynasite was a problem for it, even if it was the real deal. The pearls on Palkia's shoulders glowed pink as its eyes glow orange and its forearm starts to gather energy. The Spatial Pokemon then slashed the air and releases a pink crescent-shaped blade of energy from its arm. Space had been slightly affected by its slash.

Without having the need for Aura, Palkia had cut right through the Dynasite with ease. Even the nigh-indestructible Dynasite was meaningless before the Guardian of Space. Cosmos' heart had skipped a beat as she grew vampire wings from her back, immediately taking to the skies, only for Palkia to follow her.

"Awesome!" Scootaloo and a few others were amazed by Spacial Rend.

"S-Should we help out?" Goh asked as Palkia zoomed through the air with Cosmos throwing destructive soundwaves towards it. The Guardian of Space put up a barrier to charge right through it, startling Cosmos, who tried outpacing it.

"I think Palkia has this." Hollow shook his head.

"Well while Palkia's doing that, we should get everyone else." Fluttershy focused on saving the rest of the Canterlot Residents who were still around the pit of fire. That was the biggest focus now. Palkia would handle everything else with Cosmos.

"Get back!" Cosmos shouted a the Spatial Pokemon, trying to fend it off with a pink cosmic beam that had black sparkles emanating out of it. Cosmos' attacks warped space, but everything Palkia did in retaliation had repaired it. Palkia's barrier protected it from the beam as always as it was still approaching Cosmos.

Cosmos roared, pouring more magic into her beam as it expanded in size. This time, Palkia had to put a little bit more effort into it as it had expanded its barrier, pushing the beam away. Cosmos had visible veins popping out of her head as she had then grabbed the air itself, manipulating it.

By grabbing the air, Cosmos ended up changing the humidity of it. The atmosphere was altered, trapping Palkia inside a ball of thick air. Palkia then responded by using Spacial Rend once more. It slashed inside the ball of thick air, immediately cutting it in half while also managing to restore the atmosphere to its original form.

A massive doughnut had been formed by Cosmos, having jagged spikes around it as it had appeared right around Palkia. The Spatial Pokemon found itself suddenly caught by this attack as it started squeezing it, restraining the Guardian of Space. Cosmos finally got one on Palkia as she made the doughnuts explode.

Palkia roared within the explosion with Cosmos' maniacal smile returning to her. She saw a chance. She knew she just had to make it work out, especially against a force as powerful as Palkia. Speaking of Palkia, it had soon flown out of the smoke, using Power Gem in retaliation.

Large gemstones were thrown with beautiful sparkles flying out. Cosmos made a cloak of diamonds which she had used to protect herself from the gemstones. The gems crashed into the diamond cloak, breaking it part one by one. However, once all of them were broken, Cosmos was gone.

Instead, she had appeared behind Palkia while it was focused on the scene in front of it. Cosmos then put her hands on the head of the Spatial Pokemon, sending sound waves through it. These sounds were intentionally horrible for anyone to hear as Palkia cried out from the abominable things he was hearing.

"Here! These sounds come from the Malice Dimension itself! Aren't they just precious to hear?!" Cosmos laughed while torturing Palkia's head and ears. However, this ended soon once Palkia had used Aqua Ring. A veil of water had been summoned from his body which immediately counted Cosmos.

Cosmos' laughter had been cut off once some of the water entered her mouth. She had a hiccup and a rebound. She pulled back, coughing immediately as the water dropped from her mouth. It left Cosmos greatly stunned, allowing Palkia to strike while the iron was hot.

Shadow Claw had been used, slapping Comos in the face. Cosmos' eyes almost burst out of her head as that slap had some meat to it despite her being in an astral form. Palkia did it again, rapidly slapping her in the face with Shadow Claw while also pushing her back.

Each hit Cosmos felt was enough to make her put on various facial expressions in a chaotic manner. Fitting to what she does but not so enjoyable when she's being battered and slapped around. Aggravated by this, Cosmos had then opened her mouth, expanding it with horrific fangs forming. She had then bit into Palkia's arms, stopping his Shadow Claw assault.

With her mouth gripping Palkia's hand, she had then thrown the Spatial Pokemon away. But not without having something for it to crash into. A horrible torrent of poisonous sludge had emerged behind Palkia, floating in the air. It was large enough to engulf it as the Water-Dragon-Type had seen sent inside this wall of sludge.

Two seconds later, Palkia had broken out by using Hyper Beam. Cosmos gasped as a giant blast of Infinity Energy came her, blowing away the torrent of sludge as it dropped to the ground, no longer staying airborne. Cosmos narrowly evaded Hyper Beam as it had grazed her.

She then glared at Palkia, shooting out a crooked ray of Chaos Magic at it. The Spatial Pokemon was caught by this ray as it was tied to Cosmos' eye movements. By moving her eyes, Cosmos managed to control Palkia, slamming it against the buildings.

The Spirit of Malice laughed while dragging Palkia across the ground, breaking apart more of Canterlot. This did not last as Palkia managed to break free by transferring some of its cosmic power into the source of the ray. The power travelled through the ray, leading directly to Cosmos' eyes.

"AGH!" Cosmos' eyes had been hit as she screamed in pain, holding her face. "GRR...! YOU!" Cosmos was stunned, staggered and paralyzed by this attack on her eyes, allowing for Palkia to use Spacial Rend once more, slashing the air as dimensional slashes were sent towards Cosmos. "!"

Cosmos got to feel what Spacial Rend felt like to the opposing attacker. Once the slash passed her, it tore apart some parts of space while also tearing away at her astral form. Cosmos' astral form had lost parts of it. The left shoulder and elbow, parts of the head and even both feet.

Since she was using a form that was tied to space that made her extremely vulnerable to Spacial Rend. And Palkia knew this as Cosmos' body jittered. She managed to recover the lost parts by replacing them with new parts. Meanwhile, Palkia was still sitting pretty, barely looking like it was struggling at all.

Cosmos bellowed out of anger, teleporting towards Palkia, only for Palkia to do the same. They both teleported in front of each other, bashing their heads in unison. They teleported again, moving from this spot to another.

This time, it was on top of Canterlot Castle they both had barriers that collided. Palkia's barrier emerged victorious. Another teleportation act had been done and this time it was going past Canterlot. They appeared near Deerling Forest, clashing with each other constantly. Then the Pikachu Highlands and so on.

And with each teleportation, Palkia managed to get ahead of Cosmos, hitting her the most. Cosmos jerked back as their teleporting shenanigans had stopped at the Canerlot Gardens. Palkia had then used two attacks at once. Aura Sphere and Spacial Rend. Spacial Rend on its left and Aura Sphere on its right.

It started with Palkia slashing parts of Cosmos' astral body, tearing them apart and all their special properties and then finished off with Palkia throwing the sphere of Aura. Aura Sphere had attacked the torn off sections, dealing greater damage to the Spirit of Malice. Cosmos had lost half of her astral body now as she could not recover them.

At least, not here.

Cosmos trembled with fear. This was yet another Pokemon that managed to fend her off this much. And this time, this one Pokemon could have the potential to do more than just defeat her. Naturally, the best thing to do was to recover. And there was no better place than the Malice Dimension.

Cosmos immediately left the scene, holding her face with her only remaining arm before teleporting out of thin air. However, Palkia was not done with her.

The Malice Dimension.

Back at the Malice Dimension, Absol was still trapped, unable to break free. He had been hopping from floating platform to platform, trying to find something to free himself.

But, despite having no options to break free, Absol did not lose hope. The Disaster Pokemon rested on a platform that was miraculously less violent than the others. It was a platform full of terrifying cries which Absol could handle. He thought about all of his friends back in Equestria and even the Pokemon World. Twilight came to mind first. Absol wanted to head back as soon as possible to let Twilight know he was okay.

Suddenly, Absol's lonely presence within this realm ended once a certain someone had popped in, startling him. Cosmos had returned, appearing here to heal "Sol?!"

"Gah...!" She breathed in and out as her heart was racing. It was certainly a close call as she made a chair fr her to sit on, relaxing for a bit. "What was that thing...? Why was it so powerful? Curse these Pokemon..."

"Absol!" Absol roared at Cosmos before leaving the platform he was previously on, rushing towards the Spirit of Malice for a second round, right as she was healing.

"You again...? How are you still alive and sane in this dimension?" Cosmos groaned, facing Absol. "Ah, it doesn't matter." She then pointed at Absol, creating a gravity field to prevent him from getting any closer. "You're the least of my worries now. Funny, since you were such a threat to me back at that forest. But not anymore."

"Absol...!"

"Now that most of my magic is back, you're nothing to me. The only things I have to worry about now are Ash Ketchum and that overgrown lizard. All I need are the final three stars and my power will be at its absolute prime and possibly beyond that. And I won't let it-"

Cosmos had been cut off. Her tangent towards Absol came to an abrupt halt as someone else had entered this dimension. She gasped, looking up as a crack could be seen forming within the Malice Dimension. And out of that crack, a familiar arm had broken right through. Cosmos already recognized it in a heartbeat.

"NO! IT CAN'T BE!" She stood up from her chair as the crack had expanded with the arm tearing the rest of this part of the dimension open.

Palkia had emerged.

The Spatial Pokemon appeared in this dimension, teleporting and breaking straight through it, much to the absolute shock and horror of Cosmos. Being that it was the Guardian of Space, much like how the Pokedex said, it can travel to other dimensions. Even ones that do not originate in its universe.

"Absol...?" Absol was also stunned, but now he was hopeful as he saw a crack in the realm. He recognized Palkia thanks to living with Twilight who loves researching about the Pokemon World. And now that this crack existed, Absol found a potential way home. "Sol! Absol!"

"Impossible! How did you get here?!" Cosmos roared with seething red eyes. "Just what are you?! Who are you?!"

"Absol!" While Cosmos was distracted, Absol took the chance to attack her with Night Slash. His horn lit up as he swung his head, sending multiple dark blades towards her while she wasn't looking.

Cosmos had been blindsided by Absol who wanted to get a good lick in. The Spirit of Malice flinched, almost falling over as black explosions happened around her face. "Gah! You...!"

"Absol-sol-sol." Absol could be seen laughing at Cosmos, showing that he did hold grudges. Now Cosmos was faced with a major problem. Palkia could enter her dimension. Once Palkia found her, it immediately continued the attack.

A panicking Cosmos had then held her hand out, throwing massive mirror shards at the Spatial Pokemon, only for Palkia to shatter them with ease via a simple roar. After breaking the mirrors, Palkia approached with Giga Impact. Cosmos had no choice but to fight back. She didn't have time to fully heal, putting her in a rough spot.

Cosmos manipulated her hair, turning it sharp before then throwing it at Palkia as if it were a whip. Meanwhile, Absol focused on getting out of here, jumping from platform to platform to reach where Palkia had arrived at.

Palkia blocked the sharp hair before then crashing into Cosmos with the full force of Giga Impact. Cosmos growled before being blasted away by the explosive Infinity Energy from Palkia's Giga Impact.

She crashed through some of the massive platforms that she had made in this dimension, destroying them in the process. Cosmos shook her head before then summoning millions of eyes around the Spatial Pokemon. These were as hard as Dynasite as they were all thrown at Palkia. The Water-Dragon-Type had got into a blocking stance, putting up a barrier as the eyes were rapidly raining down on it.

"Sol?" Absol then heard Palkia cry out to it. The Guardian of Space knew that Absol should not be here. So, while it was being attacked by eyes, it took the time to speak to Absol, telling him to go while he had the chance. "Absol." Absol was grateful for what Palkia had done before rushing off.

The Disaster Pokemon reached the crack in the dimension before using Giga Impact to get a higher boost through the air. And with that boost, Absol managed to pass through the crack, finally leaving this dimension. Palkia had then expanded its barrier, pushing away all the eyes.

"Curse you!" Cosmos howled at Palkia before deciding to approach it. She didn't have time to heal so it was best to try and d what she could. And there was one thing on her mind. Getting Palkia out of here. She teleported in front of Palkia before then pulling her arm back with had Chaos Magic flowing all over it, ready to strike.

Palkia did the same with Spacial Rend as the two entities from space had clashed their attacks against each other. The result was a dimensional one. The impact between Cosmos' swipe and Palkia's Spacial Rend ended up disrupting this dimension as the energy from Spacial Rend radiated and affected the Malice Dimension.

The dimension had suddenly shattered, revealing something else. They had teleported somewhere else, leaving the Malice Dimension and entering another.

This dimension seemed to resemble a marsh but instead of mushrooms, these strange otherworldly plants resided here. The sky was also the colour green with red clouds of all things along with two suns being spotted in the sky. Palkia overpowered Cosmos, sending her rocketing down as she crashed through these bizarre plants.

Palkia then followed after her, only for the plants to suddenly lash out. These plants had a mind of their own, extending as they had wrapped around Palkia's leg while it had approached the Spirit of Malice. They had also restrained Cosmos while she was on the ground, reacting to her as well. These plants would attack anyone it seemed.

Cosmos set herself on fire, burning these mysterious plants while Palkia simply used brute force to break them. Cosmos managed to get out of the plants first, taking the chance to strike Palkia with a cosmic blast. The Spatial Pokemon just now noticed it but was too late to react as Cosmos managed to knock it away.

After knocking Palkia back, Cosmos took every chance to try and defeat Palkia as she flew right at it. She then pushed the Guardian of Space, immediately deciding to leave this dimension and transfer to another.

Or rather, multiple.

Cosmos started pushing Palkia through various dimensions. The first was a dimension full of these futuristic pyramids that were surrounded by what seemed to be angel halos. Cosmos broke through that as well before then shoving Palkia through a dimension of fire, one of ice, the other of water and another of electricity.

Palkia retaliated after being forced through these dimensions, kicking Cosmos off its body. Palkia then used Spacial Rend within this dimension of electricity, only for Cosmos to swipe with her chaotic arm once more. They swapped dimensions yet again.

This time, they ended up in a dimension that had a city. And the one who was knocked over was Cosmos as she crashed into the road of this city of another dimension. In this dimension, ponies lived here as well. However, they looked different from the ponies of Equestria.

Some of these ponies had elastic skin that were covered in feathers. The elastic ponies had stretched their bodies back once Cosmos hit the road. Another group of ponies appeared to be somewhat amphibian, having gills and fish scales while also possessing long and agile tails.

There were more of these alternate ponies as some had four eyes which sit sunken in their sockets or even three or six eyes. Some had scales as their coats and some had feathers. All of them were so unique, but that did not matter nor was it acknowledged by Palkia or Cosmos.

"By Queen Astral Feet's name! W-What are those?!" One of the feathered ponies uttered as there indistinct chatter among them all. Cosmos got up from the crater before then expanding her size to a greater proportion. The ponies immediately fled, seeing as another destructive impact was due.

Palkia had used Hydro, only for Cosmos to block it off with a cosmic beam. Her creative mind wasn't being as helpful as she wanted it to be in this instance. Cosmos hated the fact that all the creative things she could think of were so far pointless against Palkia. The beam and Hydro Pump clashed as the dimensions had changed again.

Another city had been found in this new dimension. This time, housing dragons that looked identical to the ones back at Equestria But this view was gone as the dimensions kept breaking against each other constantly with Palkia and Cosmos throwing multiple attacks at each other.

Eventually, the one to emerge the victor of these constant ranged attacks going back and forth was Palkia as it had all the strength left to spare. Meanwhile, Cosmos was weakened, unable to gain the advantage. But if she wanted to fall, she certainly wanted it to be in her dimension. She quickly switched locations back to the Malice Dimension, where Palkia ended up bombarding her with Power Gem.

Cosmos fell, horribly damaged from this back and forth scuffle. "D-Darn it all...! I can't keep losing like this!" Once again, Cosmos had lost as Palkia looked down on her. "I would win if all of my magic was back...it's not fair..."

Palkia let out a small roar as he only came here to defeat the source of the problem. Now, all it had to do was prevent Cosmos from pulling something like this again. Palkia thought of the best way to do so and the only thing that came to mind was sealing her powers.

And that couldn't be made clearer once Cosmos' astral form had dropped. Once the astral form vanished, she revealed Cynthia's true body. And as to be expected, the four Andalusian Stars were on her as accessories. A necklace and bracelets to be exact.

Palkia could feel the cosmic power coming from them as it knew what to target. It had used Power Gem, summoning multiple gemstones that sparked with absolute radiance before unleashing them. Cosmos gasped, using whatever was left of her strength to protect the stars. She only managed to protect one of them.

Only one Andalusian Star had been saved as the rest were obliterated. Cosmos turned around, trying to crawl away as she was now weaker than before. Even though she was recovering within this dimension, her magic had been diminished once the other stars were destroyed.

"No...No..." She whimpered with Palkia watching her crawl away. It was pointless now that the stars were destroyed. There was no recovering them, making Cosmos' path to absolute power and full-on revival obsolete. "It's not...it's not fair..." She slammed her fist on the ground. "It's not! Why!? I just wanted to be with my Discord!"

She was frustrated beyond belief. But even though she managed to save one star, to Cosmos, she had a backup. The remaining three stars that were still out there. However, even if she managed to get those three stars, her true power would forever be limited, lost to existence.

She was still counting on Lucien and Sienna to do something. For now, Cosmos only had one thing on her mind. To run. She used the remainder of her magic to teleport away from this dimension, heading somewhere else.

Palkia saw her flee in terror, knowing that one more star existed. Right now, Palkia decided to do something quickly before continuing its pursuit. Fixing the tear in space. It has been sitting there for a while as the Spatial Pokemon left this dimension to fix the space between both worlds.

Equestria. Near The Crystal Empire. Nightfall.

One of the stars was confirmed to be located at the Crystal Empire. And the one that was sent there was Lucien. However, instead of trying to retrieve the star, Lucien had barely done a thing.

Mainly because of the fact that the Crystal Empire was partnered with the Renegade Pokemon Giratina. Speaking of Giratina, it and the rest of the guards of the Crystal Empire had dealt with the remaining miniature Cosmos' that had attacked. Thanks to their defensive force and the power of one of the Creation Trio, they emerged victorious. Flurry Heart hugged Giratina in the face, proud of it.

"No way. Nope." Lucien decided not to even bother as he shook his head. He was already away from the Crystal Empire, choosing not to get engaged long ago. Right now, he had nothing else left to o since his Rift Energy was weakened as well as facing a potential punishment from Cosmos.

If only he knew.

"Hah...I'll just search for that extra star." He sighed before stopping next to a cave, deciding to take a break. He was unsure of what would come next. While he was free from Canterlot, he wasn't exactly as powerful as he was now. That went for Sienna too. But Lucien saw a positive to this. He wouldn't have to be around his sister who he disagreed with on certain petty things. "Hm. At least I don't have to be stuck in the same room with her."

"That's no way to talk to your sister, is it?" Just then someone had replied to Lucien, startling him. It came from the nearby cave as he scurried on the snowy ground.

From that cave, the one that had replied to him as a surprise visitor. Someone from the Pokemon World but was currently residing in another universe parallel to this one.

It was none other than the scientist of Team Plasma Colress.

"C-Colress?!" Lucien gasped upon seeing the scientist.

"Glad you know who I am." Colress pushed up his glasses. "Because I know who you are as well. Lucien."

"Uh...W-What are you doing here? Why are you here right now?"

"Why? Well, I never stopped spying on this world even with my previous spycams destroyed in all of the events that have happened or just by a random moment. It's so fascinating to continue observing this world that is connected to mine. Why wouldn't I keep observing it?"

"That's fair..."

"And besides...apparently, this is a big moment in this world. At least, it should've been one year later, according to Empress Twilight Sparkle." Colress walked out of the cave.

"Empress Twilight? A year later?" Lucien started putting the pieces together. "Y-You know about Cosmos?!"

"I do. And the fact that all of this should've happened next year. But altered timelines tend to readjust things, don't they? Empress Twilight told me about Cosmos once I observed the chaotic events transpiring in this world. A truly powerful being she is...Very powerful. But, not at her best, am I right?"

"Yeah. Cosmos is weaker than before, but she's getting back up to speed. All she needs are three more Andalusian Stars to be at her prime. One of them is a substitute made by Rift Magic."

"Hm-hm. But finding them now with how things have changed is difficult. Especially with how you chickened out with the Crystal Empire." Colress smirked.

"Gh!" Lucien flinched. "Yeah I did...but they have Giratina with them! Unless...Oh!" His eyes widened. "You're here to bring another powerful Pokemon to battle Giratina and distract everyone?!"

"Oh, please no." Colress shook his head. "That's a waste of resources and power."

"Darn..." The Rift Human lowered his head.

"Instead. I'm here to give you a shortcut. With these." Just then, Colress had caught Lucien off guard, revealing to him the most important items in this entire debacle.

The Andalusian Stars.

All six of them.

"N-No way..." Lucien stood, gazing at the stars as Colress had all six of them. "B-But how...?!"

"You're the ones involved with this world collaboration event. You should know that these stars come from another universe. Empress had encountered Cosmos before in her universe. You can tell that she emerged victorious. Not only that, but she kept the stars around due to their amazing power."

"D-Does she know that you brought them here?!"

"These ones come from another one of her palaces in different universes. So maybe she does and maybe she doesn't. What's important is that you take my offer. I'm not one for ignoring hard work but...this is a situation where a shortcut is needed. So. Will you take it?"

"...Yes." Lucien pondered for a bit before accepting it.

He took Colress' offer as this was the easiest way to give Cosmos all the stars back without having to go through the effort. Colress smiled once the stars were given to Lucien. He had done what he came here to do as the journey continues.
