Out in the mountains, afternoon.
No luck. Passion could not find the three Pokemon who had a closer look at the moment the Desire emerged. Specifically a Mareep, Doduo and a Bonsly. But they were nowhere to be found.
But, the reason for this could be the fact that most of the Pokemon here had already left the mountainside to find Ash. All for the sake of getting revenge for J who wasn't even in control of her own Desire.
By this point, Passion was unable to find those specific three Pokemon. And to add insult to injury, there were indeed a Mareep, Doduo and Bonsly here, but they weren't even the right ones. They were just random ones who hadn't been influenced by J's Desire.
This basically made it clear that the Mareep, Doduo and Bonsly who were affected by the Desire were long gone from here. And soon, in just a few minutes, very little Pokemon that weren't influenced would be the only ones here.
"Gardevoir." Passion sighed, failing to find a viable source. Even when she could find those three Pokemon, she tried tapping into the memories of other Pokemon. But none could give her a solid view of where the pulse originated from.
And for good reason. Since J's hideout was in a cave and she absolutely terrified all the Pokemon here, no one would dare go near her.
The Pokemon all chose to stay far away from the cave where J lives. Thus, when the pulse hit, no one actually saw where it came from. Mareep, Doduo and Bonsly only saw the pulse first because they were the closest to the cave. But they never saw the cave.
"No luck, huh?" Celestia said.
"Voir."
"It's fine, Passion. At least we know what this Desire is doing. We should go now. To see Ash. I know he's alright since he can handle himself, but I'm worried about everypony else. We'll also have to free the Pokemon from the Desire as well. Let's hurry." Celestia was ready to teleport to Ponyville along with her Gardevoir.
The mountainside was a failure in their eyes. But little did Celestia and Passion know, the source of the Desire would be here still. But right now, since J was in the Pokemon World, making shady transitions and deals at the Pokemon Black Market, her presence wasn't known.
Neither was her cave. It was so well-hidden in the mountains no wonder J chose it.
Speaking of Ponyville, Rarity and the influenced were approaching the Everfree Forest after witnessing the Sonic Rainboom and the flash of Aura coming out of them.
However, they weren't going to approach him casually. This time, they were going to sneak up on Ash and catch him by surprise
But, Twilight wouldn't let her as she stood in the way of Rarity. She teleported out of her castle, appearing before the influenced unicorn. Twilight would protect Ash no matter what.
Around the same time, Celestia had appeared in Ponyville. The spot she ended up in was Twilight's castle. Right on her balcony. When arriving in Ponyville, Celestia was more than ready to tackle whatever type of revenge plan was happening right now.
"Again, Twilight?" Rarity growled.
"I've already made it clear that I won't let you...or anyone near Ash." Twilight declared.
"Pah!" Rarity scoffed. "You're only protecting him because you're infatuated by him!"
"And because he's your friend too!" Twilight yelled back. "I can't allow friends to harm each other for no good reason." Once more, since 1% of the Desire was Twilight's and 99% was J, Twilight's words were making Rarity's head hurt, showing that she could slightly get to her even when influenced. But it wasn't enough.
The Desire of J could see that Twilight was also a threat like Ash. She didn't have Aura or abilities like Passion, but since a part of her was still a part of the Desire, she has the potential to also break the influence.
Knowing this, the Desire of J further influenced Rarity to ignore her friend and crush her either way. Now Rarity's aggression had reached a point where she will no longer hesitate to harm her friends to exact revenge for J. The other influenced ponies however decided to leave everything to Rarity while they pursue Ash in the Everfree Forest.
"So be it." Rarity's eyes flashed. "Pheromosa! Close Combat!"
"Mosa!" Pheromosa dashed forward with her eyes glowing purple.
"Eve! Dazzling Gleam!"
"Espeon!" Preventing Pheromosa from advancing any further, Eve launched herself with a bright shine of rainbow aura around her. The shine was so great that it blinded Pheromosa's eyes for a bit, throwing her off balance as Eve managed to find an opening, crashing into Pheromosa with Dazzling Gleam.
"Mosa!" Pheromosa veered on the ground as she rubbed her eyes.
"Pinkie! Fluttershy! Go and help Ash!" Twilight chose to stay here and deal with Rarity.
"Oh, alright!" Fluttershy nodded in understanding, quickly getting a move on to the Everfree Forest with Pinkie Pie following along. "Be safe, Twilight!"
"Absol. Go and help them. Eve and I will take it from here." Twilight offered to let Absol help Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. She trusts him to do an amazing job of protecting them from any harm and especially Ash.
"Sol!"
"Hmph! You should know that when it comes to speed my Pheromosa is the fastest Pokemon in Ponyville!" Rarity chided.
"So?" Twilight narrowed her eyes. "Eve and I have taken a Pheromosa down ourselves before. Remember? And we're much better than before when we were against Adagio."
"Espeon!"
"Bah! Pheromosa! Use Ice Beam!"
"Phero...!" Pheromosa put her hands together, creating a blue ball of chilling energy while standing in place. Ranged moves are the only time where Pheromosa doesn't use her ludicrous running speed as she unleashed a beam of ice.
"Eve! Shadow Ball, go!"
"Eon!" Eve had her own ranged attack in the form of Shadow Ball. By generating a ball of shadows from her mouth, the Sun Pokemon hurled it straight towards Ice Beam. Both moves clashed, equalling each other out before creating a smoke cloud.
"Quick Attack!"
"Esp!" Taking advantage of the smoke and acting a little bit like Absol, Eve moved through the smoke at lightning speeds, smashing her head onto Pheromosa's stomach.
"Mosa!" Pheromosa had been slightly pushed back by that.
"Pheromosa! Use Foul Play!"
"Mosa!" Pheromosa was about to turn Eve's power against her since that was the point of the attack, Foul Play. The Lissome Pokemon quickly recovered as she kicked Eve in the face, launching her back.
"Esp!"
"Dazzling Gleam!"
"Eon!" But, even when being hit by a super-effective move to the face, Eve could still carry on as her body was consumed in a rainbow sphere while in midair.
From above, Eve released multiple rainbow rays from the sphere, making them rain down on Pheromosa.
"Pheromo?!"
"Dodge them!"
"Pheromosa!" Pheromosa, using her amazing speed which had also been increased thanks to Beast Boost, began running away from the rays of Fairy magic.
"Figured you'd dodge," Twilight smirked, already knowing what she was up against when it comes to Pheromosa's speed. Combine Quick Attack and Dazzling Gleam!
"Espeon!" By using the speed of Quick Attack and the power of Dazzling Gleam, the Sun Pokemon dashed downwards with a silver trail of aura behind her while her rainbow sphere was growing in size.
This time, instead of firing rays from the sphere, Eve was just going to increase the brightness of Dazzling Gleam to blind Pheromosa while getting closer to her.
"Mosa?!" Pheromosa noticed Eve approaching at high speeds as the bright light from Dazzling Gleam, once again, got in her eyes, temporarily blinding the Ultra Beast. "Phero!"
"Espeon!" Now that Pheromosa was standing still with her eyes closed, Eve took advantage of this and used the remaining power of Dazzling Gleam to crash into the Lissome Pokemon, sending her to the ground and forming a rainbow explosion afterwards.
Eve jumped out of the smoke as a crater had been formed from the sudden crash. And in that crater, Pheromosa could be seen lying down. She was on the verge of fainting because of how frail she was.
"P-Phero...!"
"That's that. Eve and I don't want to harm Pheromosa any further," said Twilight. "So please, Rarity. Try and get through that Desire if you can."
"Pheromosa!" Rarity rushed over to Pheromosa's side, worried about her. Even with J's Desire, she still had care and love in her. "Are you alright?!"
"M-Mosa...!" Pheromosa twitched. That Dazzling Gleam really did a number on her.
"You still care for Pheromosa and your Pokemon like normal." Twilight pointed out. "And I bet...Even when you eventually catch Ash, you won't actually destroy him, will you? A part of you won't let that happen. You can hurt him all you want but you won't go that far. Not for a great friend like him."
"Espeon."
Once more, Twilight's own words were interacting with the small semblance of her Desire that was still within her. Gradually, the more she spoke, the more Rarity's head twitched as her mind was having a mental battle against J's Desire.
Deep down, Rarity wanted to break free from the Desire. And rushing to the aid of her Pheromosa while listening to Twilight was giving her that slim chance.
"So please, Rarity. Can you come back to us?"
"I...I don't know if I can." Rarity twitched as purple pulses kept coming out of her. "All this thirst for revenge is just too much. I can't push it back."
"But I can." Just then, a saving grace appeared. Celestia and Passion, of course. They had witnessed the battle between Twilight and Rarity after arriving here a few minutes ago.
They were right on time for the pursuit of Ash via J's Desire.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight gasped with a wide smile on her face.
"I may not be able to reach the user of the Desire. But Passion and I can surely free you of your influence. After we free all of Ponyville, we'll free everyone else across Equestria. However long that may take."
"Gardevoir."
"Wait. Across Equestria? What do you mean?" Twilight asked.
"I'm afraid that it isn't just Ponyville that's after Ash. The radius of the Desire ended up affecting the rest of Equestria. There's no telling how many are currently setting off to find Ash."
"Oh my goodness..." Twilight shuddered. She was thinking of the massive amounts of ponies, Pokemon, potentially even yaks and dragons and more tracking Ash down.
The scale on that could be ridiculous. Ash could be in greater danger than expected. And there's no telling how close most of his pursuers are since they have J's Desire to guide them.
"Rarity." Celestia and Passion walked over to Rarity who was in the crater with Pheromosa. Rarity, feeling protective of her Pheromosa since she was now hostile to anyone that would get in the way of J's revenge, narrowed her eyes at Celestia. "No need to worry. This will be over quickly."
"Hm?" Rarity held Pheromoa tightly as she was ready to have her other Pokemon take action.
"Voir." But, with haste and some expert teleportation, Passion appeared in front of Rarity, putting her hands on the head of the unicorn.
Upon contact, Passion could begin the process of helping Rarity. Passion tapped into Rarity's mind with Fairy magic emanating out of her while all the energy from the Desire was rapidly pulsating like a heartbeat.
Rarity's eyes widened as all of her memories were being replayed to her. From when she first saw the Sonic Rainboom and met her friends for the first time and all the adventures, meeting her Sewaddle which were now Leavanny and so on. So many precious memories that she had within her that were more important than the Desire.
Rarity groaned as her mind was starting to dissolve J's Desire bit by bit. With all her memories, Rarity then remembered that she had something important to do. Protecting her friends from the inevitable disasters in the form of Ghetsis and Empress Twilight. So she couldn't allow herself to be influenced by an equally horrifying force.
And not just that, Passion's magic was also affecting Pheromosa since they were close to each other. She was also receiving memories. From her mundane time in Ultra Space and the wonderful times, she's had with Rarity and the rest of her friends.
Not only that, but all of Rarity's Poke Balls, which contained her many Leavanny and single Lopunny who had also been influenced, but strangely enough, not Ampharos or Feebas, had also been covered by Passion's magic.
With a beautiful flash of light, the Desire had been expelled from Rarity and Pheromosa's bodies as tiny little purple particles faded away in the wind.
Rarity, Pheromosa and the rest of Rarity's Pokemon were now free.
"Ugh..." Rarity grumbled as she held her head. Pheromosa helped her off the ground as she was taking some time to process everything. "Oh. Did I at least look stunningly menacing during it all?"
"Sure did." Twilight smiled as she was glad to have her friend back.
"Excellent." Rarity sighed. "Oh, I owe Ash an apology."
"He's probably already taken it. Right now we have a problem." Twilight flew over. "Turns out, it's not just Ponyville that's after Ash. Equestria's all bent on getting revenge on him for J."
"J? Are you referring to that human who you and Ash encountered at the town during the Pokemon Festival?" Celestia remembered that name.
"That's the one. She wants revenge on Ash obviously. All her hate is targeted towards him. And it looks like she was the next one to receive a Desire."
"So it isn't Ghetsis. Phew." Celestia was relieved. If the Desire came from Ghetsis then things would've been a bit messy and escalated to levels that no one would want. "But how come Passion couldn't sense her?"
"Wait! Did you say all of Equestria?!" Rarity gasped. "The whole nation?!"
"Indeed. I'm not sure even Passion and I will be able to stop them all. There might be millions after Ash right now. Possibly more than just ponies. If we don't destroy the Desire as soon as possible..." Celestia was starting to worry.
"We can do it for sure," Twilight reassured and had hope. "We just have to find Hunter J. Wherever she may be."
"What about Ash?" Rarity asked. "Everypony may already be at the Everfree Forest by now. Rainbow Dash was also seen there."
"Then we don't have time to waste." Celestia declared as her horn lit up. "Ponyville is small so I can free everyone from the Desire's influence in a few minutes. After that, we'll deal with the rest."
There was a lot to be done. They didn't have a trail with Pokemon Hunter J considering she was at the Pokemon World at the moment. But, even if they couldn't deal with that situation right now, they can still free Ponyville from the Desire in the meanwhile and hopefully everyone else.
But they would have to act fast. Because right above the skies of Ponyville, Celestia, Twilight and Rarity noticed some not-so-friendly newcomers.
Flying-Type Pokemon. Lots of them were heading towards Ash's direction. Because of how the Flying-Type is one of the fastest types out there, it's no surprise that they would be one of the firsts to show up.
"Oh." Twilight made a poker face, knowing that everything was about to escalate.
And it was for the worst.
Unova. The Pokemon Black Market.
J had just finished her shady deals and business in the Pokemon Black Market as usual. It was time for her to head back to Equestria where she can continue her work.
She travelled through a dusty alleyway to conceal herself away from any citizens instead of just walking out in the open. J wasn't sure if Unova knew her very well as opposed to Sinnoh where she is the most wanted criminal.
"This looks good enough." Hunter J said while holding some new equipment obtained from the Pokemon Black Market. To enter Equestria and her hideout in the cave, J would end up using a nearby gateway that can be found close to Driftveil City.
After that, J would have to pass through a vast wide landscape to return to the mountainside since it doesn't have a gateway of its own. That would take a long time, but J's Salamence allows her to travel at a much faster rate so it wasn't an issue.
However, before J could make her way to the location of the gateway, something had stopped her.
"Stop[/i." That something was her Desire. It was speaking to her.
"Hm?" J turned around, hearing the voice of her Desire in her head, holding out her arm cannon. "Who's there?!"
"There's no need to be so cautious. Not of yourself that is." The Desire kept talking to J through her head.
"Who are you? Why do you sound like me?" J wondered.
"I am you. Rather, your Desire. A manifestation of what you yearn for the most. You remember last night, don't you? That sudden pain you experienced?"
"I...I do." J held her stomach. "That was you?"
"It sure was. Your desire to take revenge on Ash Ketchum is what awakened me. And I couldn't be happier enough to be here now. If I could feel emotions, that is. But you're probably planning on asking more questions, aren't you? Keep them. After all, you and I have the same goal. To eliminate Ash Ketchum. A viable threat to our plans."
"That's true..." J looked down.
"Then you can rely on me. I can help you with that. In fact, because of what happened to you last night, you sent out a large pulse of Desire energy that had spread across the land, affecting the nearby Pokemon of the mountainside. You had fueled them with revenge against Ash."
"Is that why they were all acting so off with those purple colours?" J realized.
"Precisely. And now, as a wonderful bonus, the rest of that other world had been affected by the energy you emanated. Right now, millions of those pony creatures and Pokemon are searching for Ash. All with the desire to crush him. Does that satisfy you?"
"Seriously?! That's perfect!" J smirked as she liked the sound of that. "If he's out of the way...then I won't have much to worry about."
"Except that you still do. After all, that kid is much stronger than before. You've been gone from this world for so long. Your body had been wiped out in the explosion. You obviously would be significantly behind. Besides, as we speak, Ash Ketchum has already freed one of his friends from my influence."
"Hmph. And here I thought you had only good news." J scoffed. "Why tell me this if you know about my inferior strength compared to his?"
"Because I can help you defeat him. I'm more than just your Desire. A small part of me also has the Desire from one of Ash Ketchum's friends. Her name is Twilight Sparkle."
"Go on?"
"As a Desire, I have access to every single memory of the one I am a part of. And I hold all of your memories. And with Twilight Sparkle's Desire also existing within me, or rather us, I know everything so far about Ash Ketchum. From her point of view."
"Everything you say?" J was heavily interested now.
"Certainly. But the Desire of Twilight Sparkle only has memories to end at the moment that Princess Celestia destroyed 99% of its original semblance. So, I can only show you memories from 3 months ago."
"That's fine with me. Anything to get the upper hand. This Twilight Sparkle. Will her memories be helpful enough."
"She's a genius. They surely will. I believe this is where you and I form an amazing dynamic duo, wouldn't you say?"
"I suppose so. I may need this actually. Especially now that I've returned in the midst of this world crossover nonsense."
"Excellent. But, you'll need to change your base to somewhere else."
"Hm?"
"That Princess Celestia has already freed one of Ash's friends' thanks to her Gardevoir. They'll sense us. Mainly me and the energy I emanate. And without a doubt, they'll come for us to try and rid me of you."
"And what do you suggest I do about that?"
"They don't act at night. When nightfall hits, we'll return to your hideout cave, retrieve every item and start a new and better hideout here in the Pokemon World. And I know just the place to start."
Saddle Lake. Afternoon.
Instead of staying at the Everfree Forest, Ash went to Saddle Lake to further conceal himself. He was joined by Rainbow Dash who had just been freed from the Desire via Ash's Aura.
Little did they know that Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Absol were looking for him to make sure that he was safe. With Audino's sharp hearing and Slurpuff's amazing scent, they would surely find Ash either way, even if he was far. But he was more than safe at the moment.
At least for now.
"So this Hunter J? She seriously hates you to the bone?" said Rainbow Dash.
"Sure does. I got in her way a lot back in Sinnoh." Ash explained. "I really didn't think she'd come back after so long. The Rift really wants to make everything tougher."
"Pika."
"Well, you can totally handle her. I mean, you're way stronger than her last time, right?"
"Mhm." Ash nodded. "But, first we gotta deal with those whole revenge problem. I wonder what's up with Celestia and Passion? J must've found a pretty good place to hide."
"Yeah, well, I really want this whole thing to be over with. Don't wanna fight the rest of my friends." Rainbow Dash sighed. "Sorry I looked scary back there, Castform." She spoke to Castform in her saddlebag.
"Cast."
"By the way...you didn't send out your Pokemon to attack. Did they get influenced too?"
"No, I don't think so." Rainbow Dash shook her head. "Castform didn't have that purple glow around him last time I checked."
"Form?"
"Well, that basically confirms that not everyone got hit by it. I guess Rarity's Ampharos and her Feebas were free from it too. Hope we can free everyone else real soon."
"You can do it can't you?" Rainbow Dash flew in front of Ash. "That Aura of yours can like break anyone free of the Desire, right? Just use that."
"Oh, yeah. But I kinda did it without knowing I was using Aura." Ash laughed while rubbing the back of his head.
"Seriously?" Rainbow Dash made a poker face. "You're not really a super expert on Aura, are you? Even though you've got a bunch of it."
"Nah. I know of it but I don't know a bunch about it. Twilight told me that every time I battle, my Aura shows. So I guess when I had my first Pokemon Battle ever, I was using Aura for the first time."
"Pikachu."
"But if I can free them from the Desire, then I'm totally gonna try and use it on will." Ash looked at his hand. "Even if I get that Aura Ataxia thing again."
"That's the spirit, Ash!" Rainbow Dash nudged Ash.
"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu encouraged this since it was an effective way to break everyone from the influence. But, after he raised his voice in encouragement, the Electric Mouse Pokemon felt something coming this way. His ears twitched, picking up various sounds from above. "Pika?"
"Hm?" Ash stopped walking as he could hear it too. And soon, so did Rainbow Dash, Castform and Mew. Especially Rainbow Dash for one reason.
Since it was coming from above and Rainbow Dash mostly works in the skies, she would be able to sense that something was not right and there was danger in the skies.
"That sound..." Rainbow narrowed her eyes. "It sounds like..."
"Mew?"
Knowing that it couldn't be something good, Ash and the others looked up to see what exactly was heading their way. And of course, it related to what Twilight and the others saw back at Ponyville in the air.
Multiple Flying-Type Pokemon.
A giant flock of them. All here to attack Ash for the sake of J's revenge. Thanks to J's Desire acting like a guide, they were able to track him down. Ash, Rainbow Dash and the Pokemon could see that the Flying-Types all had that same glow in their eyes, showing that they were indeed influenced by J's Desire.
"Oh, man!" Ash gasped. "The Flying-Type Pokemon too?!"
"Pika-Pika?!"
"Fearow!" A Fearow cried out as it was the first to go on the offensive. Most of the Flying-Type Pokemon came in their own flocks. There were flocks of Fearow and flocks of Swellow and so on.
The Fearow each used the move Sky Attack with their bodies becoming surrounded by a white aura as they each divebombed like missiles towards Ash with a white trail of energy left behind.
"Time to go!" Rainbow Dash screeched as she flew off with Ash and the Pokemon following after her. They were now making an attempt to escape from the incoming Fearow.
"Fear! Fearow!" The flock of Beak Pokemon hit the ground hard with Sky Attack, causing explosions each time as more of them were chasing Ash and the group down.
"Pika!" Pikachu hopped on Ash's shoulder while Mew grabbed onto his head. The Fearow kept coming with Sky Attack, trying to hit Ash, but they weren't the only ones.
The Swellow took action as well. Each of the Swellow used Air Slash by ferociously flapping their glowing wings, sending out sharp blades of air that could slice even the sky itself.
The blades of air flew past the Fearow, making sure to only target Ash and no one else. Ash's jacket had actually been cut by one of the blades, leaving a visible tear on the shoulder part of it.
"Ash! Are you okay?!" Rainbow Dash noticed this.
"I'm fine! Just a cut!" Ash replied as he had to think of a way to avoid the Flying-Type. "Gotta think of something..."
"I say we battle them!" Rainbow Dash stopped flying. "Besides, you don't know any of these Pokemon so you can totally battle them unlike me, right?"
"Huh?" Ash looked back at Rainbow Dash. "I don't know them but..."
"You can say sorry to them later, Ash!" Rainbow Dash held a Poke Ball out tossing it far enough to make it go past and ahead of Ash. "Go! Luxray!"
"Luxray!"
"Use Discharge!"
"Lux...!" Luxray grit his teeth as his eyes flashed yellow. "Ray!" With a mighty roar, the Gleam Eyes Pokemon unleashed a violent blast of electricity that was widespread.
The wide blast of electricity hit multiple incoming Flying-Types, mostly the ones in the front while also destroying the Air Slashes that were sent Ash's way.
Many of the struck Flying-Types had been hit out of the air, taking super-effective damage while also nearly hitting the rest of them because of its vast range.
"Thanks, Luxray!" Ash ran past Luxray.
"Pika-Pika!"
"Lux!"
"Let's go, pal!" Rainbow Dash flew ahead, causing Luxray to follow. He was now out of his Poke Ball since he had a move that could hit a ton of Pokemon at once.
But, the rest of the Flying-Type Pokemon weren't going down so easily. A group of Beautifly were about to make their next move. With the move Tailwind.
"Beau! Beautifly!" The Beautifly each flapped their wings, whipping up a turbulent whirlwind that shifted the wind itself, turning it against Ash and the others.
"Huh?!" Ash noticed that was starting to slow down as the wind was now heading the other way. With Tailwind, it blows in the opposite direction to allow the user to have a better chance of outspeeding their target.
Usually, one Tailwind is enough, but because multiple had been used, it had enough power to rival that of a hurricane. It was doing more than just slowing Ash and the gang down. It was pushing them back like a hurricane would.
"Pi-Pika!" Pikachu held onto Ash's jacket tightly from this harsh wind.
"Luxray!" Rainbow Dash held onto her Luxray who could actually keep his feet firm on the ground.
"L-Lux!" Luxray growled as even he was struggling against a Tailwind this ferocious.
"This is way too much!" Ash groaned.
"Pikachu...!"
"M-Mew!" Mew knew that things were going to get worse at this rate if something wasn't done. He also saw that a flock of Talonflame were approaching with the move Flame Charge at their disposal.
Not wanting Ash to get hurt for Pinkie Pie's sake, Mew decided to take action. Instead of transforming, he was going to use one of his moves. Mew wasn't going to hesitate attacking back.
"Mew...!" The New Species Pokemon curled up, drawing in all of his energy as his body started glowing multiple colours. He was gathering his life force, converting most of it into energy, creating flame-like ribbons of energy that spiralled around his body.
"Huh? Mew?" Ash looked back at Mew.
"Pika?"
"Mew!" Mew opened his eyes as he had used the devastating and risky move that can hit anything from a wide radius and distance.
Self Destruct.
"MEW!" Mew cried out as his body glowed yellow with a gigantic, violent, swirling dome of golden energy, inflicting enormous damage to his surroundings.
"W-Woah!" Ash covered his eyes as did Rainbow Dash and the rest. Mew made sure that the explosion would not hit Ash and the others. Only the Flying-Type.
And it certainly did. The Flying-Types all had their eyes widen in shock as they witnessed a bright explosion coming their way at amazing speeds. The Flying-Types who were close and in front had already been consumed by this explosion as well as the rest behind them.
The Flying-Type Pokemon who were far behind backed away, not wanting to be caught up in the blast as they witnessed the rest of their fellow Flying-Types becoming consumed in the explosion.
Afterwards, the explosion let out one final eruption. One so loud that it could be heard from afar and even seen from afar too. It was even strong enough to blow away Tailwind after hitting all of the Beautifly who had made it.
As the smoke cleared, All of the Flying-Type Pokemon who had been hit had fainted. But at a great cost. Mew had also fainted too after using Self-Destruct as he was dropping to the ground.
"M-Mew...!"
"I gotcha!" Ash grabbed Mew in his arms.
"Mew...?"
"Thanks, Mew. Get some rest, okay?" Ash thanked him as he moved through the smoke cloud, using it to mask himself from pursuers.
"Mew-Mew." Mew was happy. As long as Ash was safe, that was all that mattered.
But this was far from over. Some of the Flying-Types who hadn't been hit by Self-Destruct were still on the move, pursuing Ash. Revenge can't be stopped by a mere explosion. Especially J's revenge.
But it wasn't just the Flying-Type Pokemon. Some of the Pokemon in Saddle Lake were made aware of Ash's existence here as they had been influenced too.
The hunt for Ash was still ongoing. With more Pokemon and ponies heading for him and J now working alongside her Desire, this won't end until millions are freed from the Desire as the journey continues.
