//------------------------------// // The Jubilee Pokemon // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Ponyville, afternoon. Togekiss had just hatched from its egg, unexpectedly. Right in front of Twilight, Dawn and the others as well as Dawn's own Togekiss who could feel the hatching coming earlier. "Toge...kiss?" The newly hatched Togekiss murmured as she had her eyes closed. But after a few seconds, she had opened them to perceive the environment around her. Ponyville was within her gaze. Colourful, pleasant and a nice place to be in. And beyond the nearby gateway, there was another colourful and great place to live in, AKA Pallet Town. However, even with this beautiful sight, Togekiss wasn't focusing on the beauty of Ponyville. Instead, she was moving her head around, as if she was looking for something important. She didn't even pay attention to those in front of her. "I-I didn't think it would hatch now!" Twilight was starting to panic. "What do I tell Delphox?! I was supposed to give it back to her as an egg!" "Well, there's no going back now. Maybe she'll understand?" Spike shrugged. "Yeah, well, what do we do now?" Sunset pointed her hoof at Togekiss. "You weren't kidding..." Dawn's jaw dropped. "There really was a Togekiss in there." "Toge." Dawn's Togekiss spoke. "Well...it's already hatched so..." Twilight held her breath in, slowly walking up to the hatched Togekiss. "Hey there, Togekiss. How are you feeling?" "To..." Togekiss responded to Twilight's words as she looked up at the young alicorn. Her eyes had finally spotted everyone else in front of her. From the human, baby dragon, other ponies, Pokemon and the other Togekiss. Needless to say, Togekiss was confused. But not confused in the sense that she had just hatched and was new to the world. Rather, she was confused about something else. Something grand enough to make the Jubilee Pokemon panic uncontrollably. Even her heart was beating fast. Faces that were unfamiliar to her. Voices of different individuals coming from all sides. Everything was processing to Togekiss in such a short amount of time. "Kiss...Togekiss!" A panicked Togekiss suddenly started crying again the closer Twilight got to her. Her crying was surprisingly harmonic to listen to instead of the usual painful crying that every baby does. But then again, she's physically an adult but mentally a baby. Rampant tears started flowing out of her, which made everyone around her uneasy as her crying was growing in volume. Eventually, it could reach a point where everypony hears it. And a certain Pokemon at the Pokemon House will definitely hear it, or already has. "Oh!" Twilight backed away. "Sorry! I-I didn't mean to-" "Toge!" Togekiss abruptly cut Twilight off as she had used Dazzling Gleam of all moves. A flashing rainbow light of Fairy magic came out of the Jubilee Pokemon as she had blinded everyone in front of her. Not only that, but it was also capable of blowing them all back. "Agh!" They all yelled as their eyes had been blinded while being knocked back as well. And while the light blinded them, Togekiss, who was still crying, ran off. She didn't fly since she had been forced into a Togekiss. So flying wasn't exactly something she was prepared for. As the light cleared and Twilight's vision was the first one returning to normal, she saw that Togekiss was running off in the distance, wailing. The Jubilee Pokemon almost tripped over when running, but she quickly regained her balance. A bit befuddled and dazed from the light of Dazzling Gleam, Twilight shot up, witnessing Togekiss bolt away as she knew that a Pokemon with the mindset of a child wandering the town, crying and confused would cause some problems that no one wants to deal with. "Wait! Togekiss!" Twilight bellowed her name out, but Togekiss wasn't listening. So, the only logical thing to do next was to go after the Jubilee Pokemon. And that's what Twilight did, by running after her. "Espeon!" Eve and all of Twilight's Pokemon who were highly loyal to her, recovered quickly from Dazzling Gleam as they ran after their trainer who was trying to catch up to Togekiss who could move surprisingly fast for a newborn that doesn't know how to use its wings yet. As for everyone else, it took them a few seconds more to recover from Dazzling Gleam. It was unexpected and out-of-nowhere, so they were definitely perplexed by it. But what was more perplexing was still the fact that an actual fully-evolved Togekiss was in it. Certainly a brand-new discovery. "Urgh...my eyes." Sunset rubbed her eyes as everyone else had finally regained their vision after the bright and blinding Dazzling Gleam. Once they opened their eyes, they saw how Twilight and her Pokemon were gone. "Huh? Where'd Togekiss go?" "Twilight's gone too!" Dawn noticed as she stood up. "We weren't down for that long." "Piplup?" "Twilight!" Spike called for Twilight's name but it was no use. She had already gone a far distance from chasing after Togekiss who could run surprisingly fast for a newborn. "Axew!" Axew did the same. "They've probably gone somewhere else in Ponyville right about now. But where?" Starlight wondered. "To! To! Toge!" Togekiss had already left Ponyville with how fast she was running. By this point, from the direction she was headed in, the Jubilee Pokemon could find herself ending up in Bidoof Beach. Twilight was still giving chase, wanting to speak to Togekiss. And also because she had to return her to Delphox eventually while explaining the sudden hatching. And it wasn't too hard to catch up with her. Since Togekiss is a Pokemon that is well-versed in flying if they tried to run on land, chances are, they'll be nearly slower than the time it takes to finish watching an episode of a tv show. So Twilight was able to easily keep up since she's been running on land her entire life, even before she became an alicorn. And even as an alicorn, she still prefers to move on land most of the time. "Togekiss! Wait!" Twilight tried calling for her name again, but Togekiss kept moving forward, not paying attention to anything else. Not even her surroundings. Up ahead was Bidoof Beach. Home to many Bidoof and other Water-Type Pokemon who enjoy the crashing waves in the glorious sunlight. And among those many Water-Types was a Carracosta. A Fossil Pokemon. One of the oldest living Pokemon too and the ancestor of all Turtle Pokemon. And it was the sight of Carracosta that Togekiss's distressed and upset face suddenly transformed into one of happiness and joy. Just from one look at Carracosta. "Toge!" The Jubilee Pokemon cried out as she had entered Bidoof Beach. And entering it while seeing Carracosta, Togekiss suddenly stopped running as she breathed in and out. "Togekiss!" She called for the Water-Rock-Type. "Carra?" The Prototurtle turned around, responding to the call of Togekiss as he was surrounded by a group of Tirtouga. "Oh!" Twilight also stopped running as she slid on the sand, scaring off a nearby Lotad. "Lo-Lo!" "Togekiss..." Togekiss had locked eyes with Carracosta while Carracosta was confused as to why he was suddenly being glared at by this newcomer. As the sound of the waves crashing on the sand with some Wingull flying by, there was a moment of silence between the two Pokemon. One was happy while the other confused. And as for Twilight, she was just observing Togekiss from afar while her Pokemon caught up to her. But, after a few seconds of silence, Togekiss then morphed her face back into one of distraught and sadness all of a sudden, which caught Carracosta off guard. Before Togekiss's face changed, she was planning to hug the Prototurtle Pokemon, but promptly stopped. "Costa?" "T-Toge..." Togekiss slowly backed away as she bowed her head, apologizing to Carracosta. From what Twilight and her Pokemon could deduce, Togekiss accidentally mistook Carracosta for someone else by her body language and behaviour. Perhaps that someone was another Carracosta. Togekiss left Carracosta as she wiped her tears with her wings, crying once more. But this time, she wasn't running because she was too tired to do so. Carracosta went on with his day, continuing to talk to the Tirtouga while Togekiss walked away from Bidoof Beach. Twilight and her Pokemon hid behind a nearby group of trees to avoid drawing any attention to the saddened Togekiss since it probably wasn't the best time to interact with her. They witnessed the Jubilee Pokemon walk by with tears dropping onto the ground. Togekiss's tears had fairy magic within them so they were capable of purifying the land, similar to how Togekiss can bring blessings. Flowers around her were blooming from her tears. But she didn't notice due to her sadness overtaking her. Eventually, as Togekiss wandered the small forest, she stopped walking, sitting next to a tree to continue crying. That's all she could really do. She was just a baby after all. By sitting under a tree, Togekiss then glanced over, gazing at the small landscape that she was currently in. This small forest near Bidoof Beach was giving Togekiss a somewhat sentimental feeling. Especially when she looked over at Carracosta in the distance. Seeing all of this was sparking up some memories in Togekiss's head. Memories that she could still reminisce to this day. And memories that were critical in her life. 1 year ago. Equestria. Night. Deep within a lush jungle at night, many Pokemon were asleep at the moment with the exception of those that were nocturnal. This jungle was close to civilization, AKA a relatively small town with few residents. A harsh and cold wind flowed during the night, causing most of the Pokemon to cuddle up against each other to stay warm or even use some of the leaves as cover. A storm was even starting to brew in the sky. Possibly a rainstorm. Among the Pokemon that were awake, a single Carracosta was walking about the jungle, right near the small river that it had. The Prototurtle Pokemon was currently helping other Pokemon get to safer spots where they would feel comfortable during this weather. Carracosta used Iron Head to construct small dens for the Pokemon by repeatedly bashing his head on the ground with pure steel. He also brought along some berries, dropping them inside of the dens for the Pokemon to eat while the storm slowly approaches. The small Pokemon all hopped into the dens while clouds rumble with a mild sign of thunder. They all thanked Carracosta for all the help. But Carracosta wasn't done yet. There were still some Pokemon who needed shelter from the incoming storm as it was already starting to drizzle. He used his large body and sturdy shell to act as an umbrella to other Pokemon. He also used Focus Blast to create small holes in trees, making them hollow for some of the Pokemon to jump in. Carracosta was a helpful Pokemon. And on this day, helped save many Pokemon from the approaching storm without thinking of himself first. He was essentially the Top Pokemon in this jungle. Sort of the ruler. The storm had finally come with rain pouring down heavily on the jungle. Thankfully, everyone here found a way to protect themselves from the storm. Most of it was done by Carracosta and his actions. This storm could last for a while, so it was a good thing he brought them all some berries to eat. As for Carracosta himself, he was the only one who hadn't found shelter yet as he was out in the open. But he wasn't worried at all. After all, it has one sturdy and thick shell. The Prototurtle felt like he had done all the work he needed to do. Everyone was safe and sheltered from the storm. Well, that's what he thought at first. When he was heading to the river to get some sleep, the Water-Rock-Type noticed something unusual close by. A Togepi was drifting in the river, unconscious and unresponsive, face-down while in the storm. There seemed to be chipped eggshells above the lake, indicating that this Togepi had just hatched from its egg not too long ago. It was also riding on its eggshells to stay afloat. "Carra?!" Carracosta gasped as he jumped into the water, knowing that it wasn't safe for a Pokemon like Togepi to be drifting out in the open during a rainstorm. The Prototurtle Pokemon swam rapidly towards the Spike Ball Pokemon, grabbing it with his large fins. "Costa." Carracosta successfully got the fainted Togepi out of the river and to dry land, placing the Spike Ball Pokemon down. "T-Togepi..." The little Togepi groaned as she coughed up water after being saved. As water came out of her, Togepi was waking up. And the first thing she saw was the face of Carracosta looking down at her. "Carra?" "Pi...Togepi! Toge!" Togepi suddenly started crying and for good reason. Not too long ago, she was drifting on a river with her eggshells floating about while unconscious with her face in the water. And now she had woken up to a new territory and a new face just staring at her. And for a Pokemon her age, it made sense as to why she would cry. "C-Carra?!" Carracosta jerked back when the Spike Ball Pokemon started crying her eyes out as he was caught off guard by this. Crying Pokemon isn't something he's used to. The Prototurtle Pokemon looked around to see if there was someone to help him, but he was the only one awake that could do anything. So, with instinct, Carracosta picked up Togepi from the ground with his fins, carrying the Spike Ball Pokemon while she was still crying." "Toge!" "C-Carracosta!" Not knowing what to do about all of this crying, Carracosta decided to just find a spot to shelter Togepi instead since that's what he's best at. The Prototurtle Pokemon used Iron Head to smash the ground, creating yet another hole. This time for Togepi. He grabbed some nearby leaves, just to put them inside as a comfortable bed for the Spike Ball Pokemon. The sound of Carracosta smashing his head on the ground while vibrations go through wasn't making things better as Togepi cried harder after hearing that. "Togepi!" Her crying could be enough to wake everyone else in the forest up by this point if Carracosta doesn't do something. "Carra...Carra..." Carracosta hushed Togepi as he placed her inside of the shelter gently. "PI...! Toge..." Being placed inside of the comfortable shelter was enough to make Togepi settle down. This comfortable and relaxing feeling was proving to be effective as Carracosta also placed some berries inside the shelter for Togepi. "T-Togepi..." "Costa..." Carracosta sighed in relief as the crying had stopped. "Toge-Toge." The Spike Ball Pokemon played around with berries, not really eating them yet. She was just playing with her food at this point. While playing with the berries, Togepi looked up at Carracosta, knowing that this was the Pokemon who brought her to safety and gave her these berries to play with as well as a comfortable little den that she rolled around in. Because of this, Togepi immediately grew an attachment to the Prototurtle Pokemon, showing off a smile to him instead of her usual crying. And that was pleasant to Carracosta's view. As the storm was raging on, Carracosta stayed by Togepi's side to keep her safe. Especially because she's a newcomer to this jungle, where Carracosta is essentially the biggest figure here. With thunder striking and Togepi about to cry because of the thunderclap, Carracosta quickly responded by placing his fins on the Spike Ball Pokemon's head, calming her down. "T-Togepi..." And Togepi certainly felt calm when Carracosta did that. She even giggled as she bit Carracosta's fin. "Toge!" "Ca!" Carracosta flinched from that as he pulled his fin away instantly while Togepi laughed at him. "Toge-Toge-Toge-Toge!" "Carra..." Carracosta sighed as he knew he had a brand new situation to deal with. But it wasn't difficult for him considering how beloved he is in this jungle. "Togepi..." Togepi yawned as she was heading to sleep finally. And for extra comfort, Carracosta got some more leaves, placing them on the Spike Ball Pokemon as a blanket, which Togepi greatly enjoyed as she dozed off. And ever since then, after the storm settled, Carracosta now had the role to take care of Togepi. Just like how he took care of all the Pokemon here. Togepi attached herself to Carracosta. So much so that she couldn't leave his side at all. She would jump onto the back of his shell as a ride and Carracosta went along with it. It was his responsibility to take care of her. And take care of her he did. Flawlessly too. But when she wasn't on his back, she would wander off, getting herself into trouble with the other Pokemon, sparking up situations for Carracosta to handle on his own. When Togepi ends up on a tree somehow and nearly falls off, Carracosta was there to catch her. If she got herself involved with any bad company in the jungle, Carracosta would jump in to save her. He was the strongest Pokemon here so no one dared to cross or go against him. Togepi would also make friends with the other small Pokemon here, but most of the time, she would drag them into scenarios that greatly endanger their well-being. And of course, Carracosta would have to step in and save them while also scolding Togepi for starting whatever mess she made. This upset Togepi of course, but Carracosta would quickly solve it by hugging her or giving her some words of comfort or more. As such, Togepi never hated Carracosta. Not even once. But Carracosta also gave her many words of advice that could greatly help her in life. And one advice, or rather, a warning, was to not interact with the south part of the forest. A mysterious lake with unusual water exists there that are too enigmatic and strange for anyone in the jungle to involve themselves with. By sunset, they would sit by a tree, eating berries together while watching the morning sun slowly set over the horizon. When Togepi would choke on the berries, Carracosta was there to help her with his water. Whatever happened, Carracosta was always present to keep the Spike Ball Pokemon safe. And because of this, Togepi saw Carracosta as her father. By night, Carracosta would let Togepi witnesses a Volbeat and Illumise light show with each of them making geometric shapes in the night sky with their tail. Togepi laid on Carracosta's belly while gazing at the view of Volbeat and Illumise lights as her eyes lit up. She wished she could just fly up there and touch them if she could. And when she finished witnessing everything at night, she would head to sleep on Carracosta's belly while the Prototurtle Pokemon put his fins over her, falling asleep with her too. 3 Months passed and Togepi had been accustomed to the jungle. She was causing less trouble, thankfully, and had grown to know everyone in the jungle. She hasn't been sticking herself to Carracosta as much recently but that was just a sign of growth from her. Togepi was standing in a line with her friends as she was trying to learn a new move to defend herself. Everyone here has at least one or two more moves to defend themselves from any potential trouble. But not Togepi. Which is why she was being helped by her friends to learn a new move. Carracosta came over to see the other Pokemon helping Togepi. It was a pleasant sight to the eyes, seeing how much Togepi has grown ever since the day she washed up by the jungle with broken eggshells. Unfortunately, on this day, when night came, tragedy had struck. Night. During this night, another storm came by and everyone knew what to do and where to go with Carracosta helping out as usual. But there was something different about this storm. Something supernatural and odd. Even the humans at the nearby village could tell. Especially Carracosta as he looked up at the sky. There was no rain present. But that wouldn't stop everyone from taking shelter from the approaching storm. This time, yellow rumbling could be seen in the clouds instead of the usual blue. Something was definitely off. "Pi! Togepi!" Togepi was heading over to her shelter while hopping on Carracosta's back. "Toge!" "Carra." Carracosta brought Togepi along to the shelter he made for her 3 months ago when she first came here. Carefully moving through the jungle as the wind was howling. At first, even though the weather seemed a bit odd, Carracosta knew that it was something would all be able to get through. Sadly, it was far beyond odd. Because the moment the rumbling stopped, that's when the impossible happened. This particular day was also connected to an important time in this modern history. One that was present in both worlds. From the far distance, Carracosta, and all the Pokemon here, noticed something unusual in the distance. Something unbelievably horrific. A being that had once put both worlds into a state of blackout and nearly destroyed Equestria in the process. The Storm Behemoth. This was the same day the Storm Behemoth first emerged as its hulking 500ft could be seen from far distances, intimidating everyone. "T-Toge?!" "Carra...!" With a roar matching thunder, the Storm Behemoth stomped its foot on the ground as a means of advancing. But once it stomped its foot, it sent a powerful electrical shockwave to come out of it. This shockwave was very widespread as it moved so fast and at such great distances that it hit the nearby town, damaging the buildings and nearby trees that surrounded it. It wasn't just the town. But also the jungle too because of its ludicrous range. The small town wasn't as heavily built as other places in Equestria. So once it took a second step, another electrical pulse came through, stronger than the previous one. This time, it blew away some of the buildings, forcing the residents inside to take cover and hold on to something. The trees themselves were electrocuted, taking massive amounts of damage that could destroy them soon. All the Pokemon hid further in their dens, terrified of the Storm Behemoth and electrical pulses that were being summoned. Trees around them were starting to fall, prompting some of the Pokemon who lived in hollow trees to exit from it to keep themselves safe. Not just the trees, but many dens were being affected too by the growing strength of the Storm Behemoth's pulses. Many Pokemon were losing their shelter because of this. As the Storm Behemoth took more steps, more pulses that kept growing in strength were coming along. Carracosta held Togepi in his arm, keeping her safe from the pulses. Since he was part Rock, the electrical pulses weren't a bother for him. However, as they grew stronger, even the durable Carracosta could feel their overwhelming and devastating volts just a bit. And if it continues growing, that could spell bad news for the Prototurtle Pokemon. All the Pokemon who had their dens and trees destroyed went over to Carracosta's side since they depend on him for safety. Carracosta knew that he had to find a way to keep everyone safe during this event. As all the Pokemon stayed by his side, Carracosta brought everyone to the one place he swore not to enter or any Pokemon else. The south section where the mysterious lake resides. But, this south section had a wide tree with an even wider hollow hole. It was certainly thicker than most trees here too. Believing that this could protect them all, Carracosta encouraged all the Pokemon here to enter this hollow tree as a new shelter. It was wide enough to hold a ton of Pokemon, possibly hundreds. As each of the small Pokemon hopped inside, Carracosta stood behind everyone else while the electrical pulses kept coming through, acting as a protective shield around them. Once everyone was inside, Carracosta had to make sure that everyone was still safe. Even though the small Pokemon were inside this large tree, there were still other Pokemon in this jungle that could be in danger. So, with great instincts and a brave heart, Carracosta left the south section to go and help other Pokemon. "Toge!" Togepi called out Carracosta's name as she and everyone feared for his well being while the storm raged on. It had reached a point where it was beyond 500ft. The last thing Togepi and the others saw was Carracosta running over the horizon with the Storm Behemoth roaring in the distance as they all hid further in the hollow tree. Hours passed and the Pokemon were unsure of what happened with Carracosta, he hadn't come back yet. They were greatly worried and thought up the worst possible outcomes in their heads. But they couldn't help it. It seemed like this storm would last forever as it had reached a state of critical mass. Thunderbolts were being summoned by this behemoth. The fury of a raging storm was now a part of this night-time event, much to the dismay of the Pokemon. The thunderbolts were widespread as they had enough destructive potential to shatter trees. Many shelters and dens were unfortunately destroyed by these thunderbolts. All that work Carracosta put in had been wiped away. Everyone huddled together, hoping for the storm to end and for Carracosta to come back safely. One of the thunderbolts managed to hit the tree they all hid in. It was strong enough to leave a hole in it, despite how thick it was. And sadly, it worsened. With the next electrical pulse being far stronger, it raced towards this part of the jungle as everyone braced themselves. The pulse struck the tree, delivering a shockwave so grand that it forced the tree out of the ground, removing its roots. Now the tree was losing balance while everyone was still in it. All the Pokemon inside were screaming as they had been separated from each other. While everyone fell onto the ground, tumbling and crashing into other fallen trees while the larger tree came crashing down, making a loud thud, Togepi, unfortunately, fell into the water from the direction she went. "Togeeeee!" The Spike Ball Pokemon cried out as was she cut off when she landed in the water. A truly disastrous event that put many Pokemon in peril as Togepi was now sinking instead of floating above. She didn't have anything to float on like her eggshells from months back. As she sunk deeper into the lake, she was starting to lose consciousness. But not only that, she could feel something about her changing. A somewhat familiar feeling. But she couldn't make it out because she had fainted. Thankfully, since this was the night the Storm Behemoth was born it was also the same night it was destroyed. In the distance, everyone could see that a certain Pikachu, Ash's Pikachu, was in front of the face of the Storm Behemoth. And when it came face-to-face with the being of pure electricity, the Electric Mouse Pokemon unleashed a Thunderbolt of 170,000,000 volts packed behind it. An astronomical amount that only a Legendary Pokemon could rival or outmatch. And it was those bolts of thunder that had finally defeated and even eradicated the Storm Behemoth, putting an end to the horrifying storm. But not before one final pulse spread across the world, causing further mass destruction. And the final result was an explosion of electricity that was the aftermath of it all, separating the clouds themselves. The storm was over. Hours after the horrific Storm Behemoth event, morning had arrived with the sun beaming through the clouds with a radiant shine. Every Pokemon came out, injured and hurt after the horrifying storm. Thankfully, no one perished since the pulses only really seem to heavily affect the environment instead of living beings. The jungle was a mess. All the Pokemon witnessed their dens and shelters gone with many trees obliterated. Their home was a chaotic ruin now. But, despite all of that, there was a ray of hope. In the distance, Carracosta could be seen. He was okay, much to the joy of the Pokemon here. Carracosta's defence was nothing to scoff at. It can really protect him from highly devastating attacks. Although, it did take some damage as there were visible cracks on it. But, nothing Carracosta couldn't power through. Overjoyed and relieved, the Pokemon ran to Carracosta's side, all hugging the Prototurtle Pokemon as he hugged them all back. He had successfully helped the other Pokemon who were still out in the open during the Storm Behemoth event. When he thinks about helping others, Carracosta never fails. However, one individual was missing from the group of Pokemon who were in the hollow tree last night. Togepi wasn't here. "Carraco?! Carraco?!" He started calling out for Togepi's name after realizing she wasn't here with everyone else. All the other Pokemon started calling for Togepi's name as they started searching for the Spike Ball Pokemon. But little did they know, Togepi was in uncharted waters right now. Over at the lake, an egg had emerged, staying afloat on the water. This egg highly resembled a Togepi egg, but it wasn't a Togepi egg. Instead, it had the pattern of a Togekiss egg. And this is where it happened. On this day, Togepi had been turned into a Togekiss while also being reverted into an egg-state. That's when it was revealed why Carracosta did not want anyone interacting with the lake. Because the lake shared the same water that the Arcane Sea had. Unpredictable with varying effects on all Pokemon. And it certainly affected the Jubilee Pokemon. With Togekiss now an egg, she was drifting away from the jungle instead of towards it. But she didn't know that and neither did Carracosta and all her friends. Within the egg, Togekiss was crying. She feared that all of her friends had perished by the storm and especially her father-figure Carracosta. She didn't know the true outcome, she just thought of the worst-case scenario. And because of that, she was crying within the egg, fearing for her friends while the egg drifted away, entering the sea. Many months later, the Togekiss egg had been found in an unnamed marshland. This marshland also had that same mystical water in it, just like the jungle and the Arcane Sea. Togekiss kept crying. She wouldn't stop. But her cries could not be heard by anyone else. Not even the Pokemon that were nearby her egg. Her egg had been laying next to a white water lily with tall blades of grass for hours as it seemed that she would be in this state for a long time with no one to hear her cries. Until Delphox found her. "Delphox?" Delphox moved the blades of grass away as she had spotted the Togekiss egg sitting next to the water lily. Delphox was already aware that this water was strange, so she made sure to carefully keep her distance. This was the day Delphox found her as she picked the egg up. And when she did, she was the first one to hear the crying coming from the egg as a pink light and vibrations ran through her. Delphox, with her amazing psychic mind and capabilities, was able to tell what Pokemon was inside of this egg. It was a Togekiss from what her mind was able to gather. A fully-evolved Pokemon in an egg meant for a baby Pokemon was new to her. Seeing this as an amazing discovery, Delphox eventually brought the egg with her, heading back to Frenzy Forest and her home. And it was that moment that led to a series of events that eventually transitioned into the present. Present-day. After reminiscing, Togekiss wiped her tears. She deeply missed her friends and father figure from the jungle. Which is why she was so confused as to where she was when she hatched. Twilight, seeing that Togekiss had mellowed down, decided to finally approach the Jubilee Pokemon, but with caution. "Um...Hi," Twilight spoke. "Kiss? Toge?!" Togekiss gasped when spotting Twilight as she backed up against the tree. "It's fine. It's fine." Twilight spoke in a gentle voice. "I'm not here to hurt you." "Toge...?" Togekiss stopped scampering around. "Sorry that I scared you earlier back there. That was my bad." Twilight apologized. "Guess chasing you down didn't make things better...if you noticed." "Togekiss." "That Carracosta over there, does it remind you of someone important?" Twilight was able to put the pieces together on why Togekiss looked at Carracosta with an expression such as that earlier. "Togekiss..." Togekiss nodded. "Espeon..." Eve slowly approached Togekiss to greet her. "Togekiss?" "Eon." Eve showed that, just like her trainer, she wasn't hostile. Togekiss could tell that all of Twilight's Pokemon, except for Absol who was keeping a great distance, were not here to harm her or cause any trouble. They were just worried about her. "Togekiss..." The Jubilee Pokemon stood up as she felt like she could trust them. "I-I'm not sure what to do now that you've hatched. I mean...Delphox might not be happy unless I explain it to her." Twilight laughed nervously. "Not sure you'd enjoy being researched all of a sudden, huh?" "Toge..." Togekiss looked at Twilight and her Pokemon with innocent eyes. Something about the positive aura that Twilight was radiating was highly effective on Togekiss. And for good reason. Since Togekiss is a Pokemon that only shows up when there is harmony and happiness, it would react greatly to those who also radiate harmony and happiness. And Twilight was definitely one of those individuals who has that same energy within and around her. As such, the Jubilee Pokemon had a smile on her face as she approached Twilight and her Pokemon, feeling safe around them. "Kiss! Togekiss! And since she still had the mind of a baby, her first instinct was to hug Twilight and her Pokemon as she felt relieved right now. "Toge!" "Oh!" Twilight shot up. "O-Okay. This is nice. Hugs are nice." "Absol...!" Absol wasn't enjoying this since he's not the biggest fan of hugs in general. Even from his own trainer as he wanted to break free. But right now, Togekiss was experiencing a moment of happiness, so he let it be. Returning to Ponyville, Togekiss came along as she was now brave enough to enter this new land that was unfamiliar to her. It certainly wasn't a jungle. Upon returning, Twilight's friends had finally found her and Togekiss standing together as they immediately ran to their side. "Twilight!" Sunset came to a screeching halt. "Hey." Twilight waved. "Sorry about the sudden disappearance. Had to find Togekiss, ya know." "Togekiss! "Oh. You got it to stop crying?" Dawn said. "Mhm. She mellowed down after a while. She just needed some space." Twilight smiled at Togekiss. "Kiss!" "Oh...okay..." Starlight sighed. "But what do we do now? Do we bring her back to Delphox?" "Maybe not yet. Besides, I've got this to use." Twilight used her magic to hold up some of the remaining eggshells from Togekiss's egg. "Managed to get one out of the egg when it hatched. This might get us somewhere." "Will it?" Spike asked. "Hopefully." Twilight squeed as everyone laughed. Now Togekiss felt comfortable here. It wasn't the jungle but it was peaceful enough. Togekiss had now hatched. And to explain this to Delphox won't be complicated since it's fairly straightforward. But she might not be too pleased. But who knows? Togekiss would be staying with Twilight for a bit before returning to Delphox's hut as the journey continues. Chapter 366 End.
