Pokémon for short. Filled with the most amazing creatures imaginable. An infinite array of creatures too varied to comprehend. They fill the ever-flowing oceans, thrive in the majesty of the mountains, soar high over the azure horizons, emanating our lush green forests, share the sparkling landscapes of cities, exist in alternate realities dimensions and dwell in the eternal astral flow of the universe. Try and count them if you dare, but then, try and count the grains of sand on your favourite beach. Trillions, maybe septillions, perhaps infinity. Meticulously fashioned by the forces of nature in all its glory as only nature can. And no matter what corner of both worlds you may find yourself in, rest assured, you'll find Pokemon there as well.
Whether they are rulers of Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses, Aura Guardians, Pokemon Rangers and more, they all have their own bond with these colourful creatures. And of course, the most prominent ones are the Pokemon Trainers.
Mankind and Pokemon alike have long journeyed together to experience the thrill and challenge of the Pokemon Battle. Along with the involvement of Ponykind. Living and learning together. As teammates. Sometimes opponents and rivals, yes, but ever friends, comrades and perhaps even Pokemon Masters. And this brings us to a young trainer who has dedicated his life to the love of Pokemon and battling.
Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and his partner Pikachu, travelling and experiencing the length and breath of both worlds; no, any world, with boundless energy with his friends, passionately pursuing his goal to become a Pokemon Master. And alongside him, the Princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle and her ever-stunning friends who help spread the joy and wonder of friendship to all while also sharing their own endearing dreams. Those who travel this beautiful world will certainly find many friends along the way. Together, humans, ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks and other hidden species out there in the world will carry on the story. Facing new challenges and sharing new adventures that will become the tales of tomorrow.
The world of Pokemon. It truly is a world of wonder. And there are Pokemon out there that have yet to be discovered to this day and possibly forever.
A microcosm of the vast world of Pokemon, ponies and people together. Experiencing all sorts of things one might expect. Or not. But living their dreams nonetheless. And for every new Pokemon they meet, a brand new and exciting adventure awaits them.
Equestria. Canterlot. Afternoon.
After a high-tension battle between Ash Ketchum and Rainbow Dash, they would relax at Canterlot where they had their friendly battle. All of their Pokemon had been healed up, gathering around and chatting after they slugged and blasted each other.
"For such a friendly battle, you two looked like you were trying to each other apart. All of you." Twilight said. "Especially you, Rainbow Dash. And your Pokemon mostly. Just how hard have you been practising for those past months?"
"It's that kind of passion you love to see." Ash nudged Rainbow Dash. "Keep that up when you get to the Final Gym."
"I sure will. But geez my lungs hurt from all that screaming..." Rainbow Dash placed her hoof on her lungs, still feeling the intensity of that battle, which was her hardest battle to date and possibly ever.
"Since Mienshao learned Aura Sphere upon evolving, how many Aura users do we have now?" Spike asked. "A lot, right?"
"Only five of us have it." Pinkie Pie answered as she, Ash, Twilight, Applejack and now Rainbow Dash had Pokemon that could access this amazing power. "What about you, Rarity?"
"Eeeh...I've yet to see any of my Pokemon use or learn it." Rarity couldn't confirm. None of her Pokemon have shown the capability of using Aura.
"Speaking of Aura...Ash. Bertha gave a suggestion out that could help a lot. It's a way to lessen all that pain. She suggested Mega Evolution." Twilight brought up a suggestion from months back during the Pokemon Festival.
"Mega Evolution? Wouldn't that hurt some more?" But Ash figured that it would only worsen the pain due to how much power Mega Evolution uses up.
"Bertha's the expert so...she must know what she's talking about. It wouldn't hurt to try it out. Or I guess it could potentially hurt." The young alicorn shrugged. "Only one way to find out. If it means making you feel better."
"I could show ya." Applejack, who had access to Mega Evolution and Aura was a perfect example. "I ain't passed out in a long time now, so it might be true."
Approaching Ash and his friends would be Princess Celestia, having the best news she could deliver right now. News about the stairway and the suits, specifically which were all leading up to Jirachi.
"Everyone, I have splendid news." Celesia cleared her throat before gazing at the Golden Stairway. "It's time. Everything's set up for us to finish things."
"Huh? You mean it's done?!" Ash stood up with his eyes lighting up.
"Pikachu?!"
"That Technomagic you brought was really helpful, Twilight, Starlight. Now those suits have the proper protection they need. With them, we can head up there without any fears of the pulses tearing us to pieces in different ways. All that needs to be done is for us to advance to that dimension and I think it's fitting that we all go."
"Alright! We can go and see Jirachi! Finally!" Ecstatic, Ash and Pinkie Pie thrust their arms and hooves into the air, waiting for this very moment.
"It's...it's actually happening!" Finding it hard to believe this day was upon them all was Rarity as she was feeling a bit flustered and overwhelmed. The Wish Pokemon was so close.
"All that hard work is gonna pay off." Rainbow Dash confidently nodded. "And so are all those wishes!"
"Get suited up, everyone." Celestia already brought over her own suit before handing over everyone else's suits that fit their specific statures. Most of them shared the same stature anyway. "We're heading into another dimension."
The time had come. To keep everything connected even when the Rift leaves, they would all enter the hidden dimension, have Jirachi grant their wish, free all the Jirachi and go on about their day.
The Rift-Resistant suits were placed on, matching their styles with all the unique patterns and designs. Jackie and the Pokemon Rangers were obviously coming along, placing on their suits as well. Around these suits, thanks to the Technomagic cube, azure and purple lines would constantly flow across them, giving them a neon appearance. Gathering here to witness them all enter a new frontier and grant them this universally loved wish were Canterlot's residents along with Ponyville residents who came to watch them take that first step.
"Once you head up there, you'll feel the gravity around you change immediately. The pulses will come through and try to obliterate you but your suits will shield you at all times. Try and stay on the stairway though, or you could drift into space." The researchers advised. "Speak your wish and we'll be smooth sailing forever."
"If any of you drift, we will catch you," said Luna. "It will be a long climb but..."
"We've always been in it for the long haul," Celestia added. "If anything goes wrong, I'm trusting you to help us from afar."
"Count on us." Zero nodded. "We'll pull you back in when needed. From the outside, the pulses are strong but they'll be far stronger once you enter that dimension. The Technomagic will act as an extra layer of protection for the suits, keeping the main protection safe."
"Audino..." Audino could be seen standing alongside Raboot and Bayleef with worried looks on their faces. Soon, Ash and the others would send out the rest of their Pokemon. Since they were heading to such a place with these suits on, unfortunately, not every Pokemon got a suit tailored for them.
"Sorry, Audi. There aren't enough suits for you...Or even in your shape. But don't worry. We'll be back." Fluttershy reassured as they would have to leave some of their Pokemon behind.
"Take care of Sweetie Belle and the others, all of you." Rarity looked up at each of her beautiful Pokemon. "I'm counting on you more than ever. If anything happens, I can trust you all to smack the problem away."
"Leavanny!"
"Sorry, Kommo-o. Arcanine. They didn't make suits for you, I'm afraid. But I'll be back and with a brand new world at our disposal." Celestia would bid farewell to her Pokemon too, petting Arcanine who would quietly whimper.
"I know you'll be fine, Absol. And everyone around you will feel safer than way. Take care of my parents too please." Twilight would only go with Espeon who managed to get one of her own. Darkrai would also have a suit tailored to his build along with Pikachu, Gardevoir and Mew. Poor Castfrm would have to say in the saddlebag, unable to join Rainbow Dash.
Even Bayleef, the one who could change fate, didn't receive one of her own. But one could argue that her power was so great that they couldn't risk losing her at all. Once they all said farewell to most of their Pokemon, it was time for them to depart.
"Grant some more wishes if you get the chance." Sweetie Belle requested. "There's a million of them or more, right?"
"And I wanna see the real Jirachi instead of a transformed one!" Goh pleaded as a few ponies would love to gaze upon an actual Jirachi. The most they get is Mew's transformations. "See if you can bring one of them here."
"Good luck up there, you all." Twilight Velvet spoke. "Say hello to all those Jirachi for us if you can. And don't run into any cosmology terrors while you're at it."
"We'll be fine, mom," Twilight reassured. "I promise. Well...let's not waste any more time."
"Yeah. Wait for us, Jirachi." Ash faced the stairway as he was the first to take a step forward. Upon stepping on the stairway, it unleashed a cosmic song that resembled Arceus' voice. This was strikingly similar to what Twilight heard in her dream. With another step, they would all hear Arceus' voice once more. It froze Ash for a bit before he continued along. The stairway was safe since it had Arceus' protection after all.
Twilight would follow suit along with Celestia, Luna and everyone else. They would see everyone off, waving and taking all of their luck with them. "Best Wishes!"
Over 50 of them would walk up the stairway. Most of them were Pokemon Rangers and Canterlot Guards while Ash's friend group made up the minimum. With each step, Arceus' voice would get louder and louder. To try and speed things up, Ash would attempt running upwards.
And with how wide the stairway was, it was completely safe to do so. Some would dash, prance or in the case of Pinkie, bounce. The clouds themselves were already surpassed once they would rush upwards. Everything about this stairway felt safe with how no one felt like they could slip or fall at any moment. Ash felt the cloud pass through him before then running above them. For anypony with wings, this wasn't anything special. But what would be special was the eventual arrival in space.
Far from home by this point, Delia Ketchum wished her son the best of luck. After all, he was heading back to space for the second time in a row. She knew that this was the day to grant that special wish but something about it all felt mystical to her. All she could do was wait while staring at her family picture.
Everyone across both worlds would get along with their days while still anticipating the wish to come through. They weren't sure what they would see once it was granted. Would they even notice anything different? They just had to wait and see how it would all turn out. This went for every region and nation out there. Residents from Pegalysium would view the stairway at a higher point, spotting Ash's group in the distance with all of their neon Rift-Resistant Suits.
And of course, Pinnaculum Pegalysium would take notice, especially Second Wind. From her balcony, she would watch the stairway and nothing more. The Grand Queen chose not to do anything about this knowing that her greatest enemies were on it. After all, without Pokemon, her plans could potentially falter after all her hard work.
From Ghetsis' Castle, he would also allow this to happen. Aside from the Dread League who were still recovering from the Pokemon Festival, everyone wanted this wish to happen. Ghetsis himself wished that he could see Jirachi for his own wishes but alas, the pulses said otherwise. And yet, it didn't bother him at all. A smile graced his face as he was very much looking forward to this.
Eventually, they would reach outer space as Ash couldn't even feel his body leaving the stratosphere thanks to the suit he was wearing. No one could. But they could still feel the shift in gravity. Upon arriving in outer space, Ash could finally gain a clearer view of the stars themselves.
The way they glistened was just as beautiful as the stairway he stood in. Everyone took a moment to take it all in. Rarity's wish of stargazing around the stars finally came true as it was truly a fitting time for it to come true. Various shooting stars would pass by for them to view, heading in different directions to different galaxies.
"Ooohoo!" Once Pinkie Pie bounced, she would feel herself floating for a bit, gaining air-time. Then again, there wasn't any air here. "Look at me!"
"Just a bit more and we'll get there," Jackie said before appearing above everyone else. "And by now, those pulses should come through."
Indeed, right on cue, the Rift Pulses could be seen approaching. Constantly flaring out of the white passageway, these pulses would race across the stairway, reaching Ash's group. Now, it was the moment of truth. It was time for them to see just how effective suits could be Ash put his hands up to block the incoming pulse, bracing for impact as well as everyone else.
All of that hard work paid off as the suits along with the Technomagic barrier had shielded them all from the pulse. The Rift Energy had no effect on them.
"Huh...We're still here!" Rainbow Dash looked at herself, seeing that she was in one piece. Everything was still in place and not a single body part was lost, torn, shredded, etc. "They work!"
"Thank goodness...I feared I would've become space debris." A relieved Rarity sighed before lying on the stairway for a bit.
"Now isn't the time to rest." Luna would stand over her. "Now that we know the suits work, let's get going."
"Race ya to the top!" Ash ran ahead, issuing a race. Indulging in this would be Pikachu, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Mew. Since the pulses wouldn't affect they could freely run as much as they want until they reached the passageway.
"Wait up, Ash!" Rainbow Dash would leave a rainbow streak in the cosmos, moving slightly slower since she hadn't yet gotten used to the gravity of space.
"Oh...This is the highest we've ever been. Minus the tower." Fluttershy would look back, gazing at the beautiful blue planet known as Earth. "Do you think we could build something else in space if we ever come back up here?"
"Why would we ever have to come back here?" Luna questioned. "After Jirachi grants our wish, that will be it."
"Well...what about those aliens we found out about?" Applejack brought up the aliens that existed somewhere in this universe. "We could just try and find 'em. But I'd stay out of that one."
They would continue to climb, viewing the Minior that would fly by. From this height, they could even spy the other planets in the distance. The voice of Arceus would only grow as the researchers were estimating how much time it would take for them to reach the passageway. At the rate they were going, only a few minutes.
With Rift Radars at their disposal, they would see how much Rift Energy was starting to rapidly increase the closer they went. And most definitely, once they enter that passageway, it would be at an all-time high. Already, the radar was starting to vibrate with each step.
After climbing these cosmic stairs, they finally reached it. The white passageway in the stars. Beyond there, the dimension where every single Jirachi was trapped in would be found. Jackie would be the first to stand before the passageway while everyone would stay back.
"From this point, we'll be hit with a lot of Rift Pulses so get ready." Jackie tightened his Rift-Resistant gloves. "To those who can use magic, it'd be nice if we had a third layer of protection just in case. We've only learned about what's coming from the outside. But on the inside...we might have a problem."
"It's okay if you go ahead first." Fluttershy gulped, fearing what would happen to her if she were to enter.
"If anything goes wrong but if you also manage to see Jirachi, shout out your wish," Jackie suggested. "After all, I'm pretty sure all the Jirachi want to leave already. When we make that wish, it should reset their positions and send them back to their own universes, except the ones we have. Not sure how many Jirachi our world has though."
"We're right behind you, Jackie," Ash reassured that Jackie had full support from his workmates and friends.
"Pika-Pikachu!"
"Thanks. Alright..." Jackie took a deep breath before starting strong in front of the passageway. Just looking at it felt like he was ascending to another plane that was far beyond his own. The sound of the Rift Pulses and the stairway only accentuated that.
He would take a simple step forward, placing his hand directly through the passageway. It felt warm when his arm passed through as if something was embracing him, welcoming him even. Right as he touched the white passageway, his body was instantly sucked in with a white flash being left behind. Rift Particles would fly out as Jackie's own gasp and scream was barely even heard after being pulled in.
"Jackie?!" Ash gasped as in the blink of an eye, Jackie was gone. The particles didn't fade out. Instead, they would Instinctively, Ash would rush in to check up on Jackie.
"Ash, wait!" Twilight would lean in, too late to stop Ash from entering the passageway. He would instantly vanish as well. She held herself back after seeing Ash's body vanish into the light with minimal sound. The young alicorn would immediately hesitate despite being eager to see Jirachi.
"What happened to them?!" Fluttershy gasped. "Are they alright!?"
"The light just sucked them in the moment they touched it. They didn't even have the option to force themselves in." Luna shuddered.
"Pika...Pikachu!" Pikachu wouldn't hesitate. Instead, he would also run in, putting his best friend first before any horrific force out there. Pikachu would also be sucked in by the white light. The researchers didn't anticipate this. No one did. The fact that the light forced them in was a worrying sight indeed.
"Well...we came here knowing the risks. Another dimension is waiting for us past there after all." Celestia said before walking up to the white passageway. She would take on whatever was waiting for her beyond this passageway. Luna felt the same way, joining her sister.
Everyone else would soon follow. If they wanted to see Jirachi, they had to go through it. Twilight would swallow her fear before flying in, joining the light. Then, the Rangers would also head in along with the researchers. One after the other, they would all enter the passageway, facing whatever fears might from this. Very soon, all would be sucked in by the light, vanishing from space completely.
Another Dimension.
"Huh?" Twilight would slowly open her eyes after being blinded by the white passageway. Upon opening them, a brand new sight came to her. The first thing she saw as an assortment of stars that were littered everywhere. However, it didn't appear like outer space. Instead, there was an ethereal aura that was constantly flowing everywhere, making up the background as it resembled the outside of the 18 Realms. Twilight got a better look at this place as there was nothing here, apart from a golden pathway.
The Golden Stairway managed to reach past the passageway, entering this dimension as its length was longer than what everyone originally expected. In this dimension, there was no sound at all. Arceus' voice could no longer be heard. There wasn't a howl or anything of the sort. Only the voices of Twilight and everyone else.
The dimension itself also appeared to be both flat and robust at the same time, confusing the eyesight of anyone who would try and understand it clearly.
"Is everyone alright?" Celestia asked, finding herself completely fine without a scratch. All she could feel was a slight tremble from how hard the light pulled her in.
"Yeah. Doing fine here." Ash spoke. "But check it out. the stairway goes further...And this place is so dreamy..."
"Jirachi can float so it would be fine here. But to those who cannot float and would soon come here, the stairway was probably extended to this point until we find the Jirachi." Luna theorized.
"They're in here somewhere, right? Let's just call for them." Pinkie Pie held her breath in, ready to shout as loud as she could. "HEY! JIRACHI! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
But there wasn't a response so far. Pinkie Pie's shout wouldn't even echo within this dimension. Most forms of sound were cut out, especially echoes. For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence. No one would respond and no one would approach.
"Maybe they're further ahead," Ash replied before advancing of the remainder of this stairway. But the second he would go any further, that's when more of the Rift Pulses had been revealed. In here, the pulses were at their maximum and the first wave would already show powerful they were.
The pulse would fly past Ash and Pikachu, making them stop in their tracks. The duo would feel themselves shake for a bit, growling quietly. "P-Pi...!"
"Are you two alright?!" Fluttershy exclaimed before soon feeling the pulse's aftershock. She and many others would flinch at this.
"I thought these suits were made to ignore this stuff!" Rainbow Dash added before feeling another pulse come through.
"Yeah, but we only managed to solve it from the outside! On the inside, it looks like they're strong enough to still affect us!" Jackie explained as this certainly threw a wrench in their plans. But it wasn't enough to stop them. "We need to keep moving or else we might run out of time with these suits."
"Hold up...what's that over there?!" Suddenly, Applejack would notice something forming in the distance. One of the pulses would abruptly freeze before reshaping into something. A burst of nova energy would suddenly be formed, creating a different energy source on the spot. Afterwards, this burst of nova energy would fire out as a spiralling beam, going straight for Ash's group.
"Is that a nova?!" Twilight, Celestia and Luna would collectively say. This transient astronomical beam would beautifully illuminate this dimension but there was nothing beautiful about what it could do to everyone.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika...Chuuuu!" Even when wearing a suit, Pikachu could still unleash his attack without damaging it. 100,000 volts would meet with the nova beam, clashing with it for a bit. Pikachu found himself entering a small struggle with the nova beam that made him visibly strain before managing to overpower it. "P-Pika...!"
"That was an entire nova...what else is here?" Luna shuddered after witnessing this astronomical element in this dimension. Clearly, there was more to this place than just a prison for the Jirachi.
"I don't want to wait and find out." Celestia stepped forward, putting up a barrier around everyone. "Let's keep moving."
If they wanted to avoid any other elements that would threaten them, moving along without stopping was the best option. And so they ran, flew and dashed as fast as they could while having the large barrier around them. The researchers were unfortunately not as fast as them, trying their best to keep up.
"It's going to be so worth it once we finish researching this place!" One of them was almost out of breath, risking it all just to learn about this dimension.
"Jackie! Do you see anything ahead?!" A fellow ranger asked.
"I see something, alright!" Not a minute later and this dimension already threw more at them. Materializing within this dimension was an emission of spatial energy. Distortions in this dimension would form up, continuously combusting with compressed cosmic energy.
Some of these bombs would fly over, raining down on Celestia's barrier. The compressed energy of cosmic power would suddenly teleport parts of Celestia's shield once they connected, destroying it in unique ways.
"Impossible! It's transporting parts of my shield away?!" Celestia was naturally flabbergasted by what these bombs were doing. Her response was to quickly repair the barrier as fast as she could before it could be completely obliterated.
"Explosive teleporations?! So cool!" Ash couldn't help but be amazed by this form of power. The concept of cosmic bombs that would teleport anything away upon combusting was outlandish and wonderful. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie felt the same way but perhaps now was not the best time to be amazed. The bombs would take out more pieces of Celestia's shield as if it was a jigsaw puzzle. Not only that, but bombs would then start slicing apart Celestia's barrier, finding new ways to damage it constantly.
"Dazzling Gleam!" At the same time, Twilight and Celestia would shout out, prompting their Pokemon to retaliate. Rainbow rays would fly out of the two Psychic-Types, retaliating against this cosmic anomaly. This allowed them advance once more. But there was still more to come.
They would move along the pathway, witnessing how this dimension's energy would react to them, threatening to rid them from this place. The dimension would pressure them with these pulses as the further they went, the stronger the pulses became.
Celestia's shield would feel this ever increasing power as it was starting to fail. Luna and Twilight would add their strengto to the shield, attempting to keep it stable at all costs. The gravity around them was suddenly starting to change. The barrier would feel a heavy gravity press down on it, slowing everyone's movements down.
"Now it's gravity...?!" Twilight groaned once the gravitational pressure got to her. Many would get on their knees or lie on the stairway, struggling to press on. The pulses were even starting to break down on the Technomagic aura.
"I can't...move!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Darn it!"
"My bones feel so brittle right now!" Rarity grimaced before lying on her back to try and ease the incoming pain. But that was easier said than done.
"It's fine....I had my experience with gravity and my parents already sorted this one out." Luckily, Luna was exempt from this after what her parents graced her. Thanks to her conflict with Empress Twilight, her resistance to gravitational effects had kicked in, allowing the Princss of the Night to move freely compared to everyone else.
With her freedom, Luna would then unleash a flash of magic from her horn. This flash would interact with the pressure, combating against it. The gravity field would be blown away by Luna's magic, giving everyone the chance to keep moving. But in response to Luna breaking away the field, an Ionic wave would fly out of the dimension, threatening to shock her from behind.
Darkrai would say otherwise, intercepting this ionic wave with Dark Pulse. Right in the nick of time as the wave moved fast enough to nearly outpace Darkrai's reaction. However, it seemed as though the effects were only getting worse as the novas would return, greater than ever. Celestia's barrier was starting to wain at this point, struggling to keep all of this at bay. The cosmic powers were staggeringly potent as expected.
"Oh...Oh!" As for the Pokemon Rangers and Researchers, they would feel their Technomagic protection crack down first. The pressure from the pulses reached a point where it started pushing them back. Unable to keep their balance, some of the rangers and researchers would be sent flying, screaming at the top of their lungs along the way.
"Hey!" Jackie swivelled to see his workmates fly off, moving to the back of the stairway. The Technomagic around their suits were hanging on by a thread and very soon, they all lose their first layer of protection. But before that, the pulses could potentially force everyone out. It already did so the Researchers and Rangers.
They found themselves being forced out of the dimension, flying through the white passageway. They were unable to stop this as the Canterlot Guards would be threatened by this as well and soon even Celestia's major friend group wouldn't be exempt from this pressure.
"At this rate, it could force us out before we have the chance to reach Jirachi!" Celestia bellowed. "Fluttershy! Do you hear the Jirachi?!"
"I...I hear something up ahead!" Fluttershy would focus as hard as she could on specific sounds, ignoring the cosmic attacks that the dimension was throwing at her friend and everyone here. "Multipel cries...I think that's them!"
"So we're getting there. No time to stop and let this get the best of us! We'll beat out these attacks then! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
"Eve, use Psychic!"
"Passion, use Plasma Bolt!"
"Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!"
"Go, Mew! Use Aura Sphere!"
The only five Pokemon that were here would combined their attacks to fend off this cosmic barrage. 100,000 Volts, a mental blast, a bolt of pure plasma, a beam embedded with dark thoughts and a sphere of concentrated Aura would fly. A cosmic outburst would emerge from this chain reaction, blowing away Celestia's barrier entirely. Even the combined might of Twilight and Luna couldn't sustain it for much longer.
The shockwave from the explosion would only correlate with the pulses, foricinv everyone further away from their goal. The Canterlot Guards would be launched, being the next to take the effects of this dimension. But they all had each other's backs, holding onto the stairway while their hooves were connected.
"I...can't...!" Fluttershy was especially struggling to keep this up. The first protection around her suit would fizzle out as she was almost blown away, only to be caught by Rainbow Dash.
"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash still had the strength to keep herself steady as she would pull Fluttershy back in. But even Rainbow Dash would suffer this breakdown.
Celestia felt her body pulsate as it was then hit with a nebulous pulse. These cosmic attacks would start coming everywhere now, only growing in abundance. Passion would get in front of her, using Psychic to create a new shield, only for that shield ot be relentlessly bombarded by a bombadier of photons.
The photons would flash violently, affecting the eyes of those who would look into it. Applejack unfortunately gzed into the photons as her helmet barely protected her from it. "Gaah!" Applejack yelled as her vision had been obscured, making her stumble.
A photon stream of destruction would follow suit, breaking apart Passion's shield, only for Darkrai to intercept it with Thunderbolt. But even Darkrai couldn't keep this up. Twilight would suddenly be pushed off the stairway, as a burst of nebulas would reach her. Espeon gasped before being pushed back by a Rift Pulse, unable to save Twilight in time.
But Ash managed to do so. He would quickly grab her hoof, parenting her from being forced off the stairway as right behind her, a flare of photons nearly caught her. "Ash!"
"Pikachu! Shield us with Counter Shield!"
"Pika...Pikachu!" Pikachu would create a barrier of electricity by getting on his back and emitting a flare of lightning. With a rapid spin, he would form a shield that knocked away incoming photons and novas, giving Ash enough time to pull Twilight back onto the stairway.
"If this keeps up, we could all be blown out of the dimension." Twilight panted. "We need to find Jirachi now or else our protection will vanish for good."
"That won't happen! Passion!" Celestia's eyes flared up as she and Passion would stand beside each other. Inside Celestia's suit, her crown would suddenly trigger the Mega Stone within. This was thanks to Celestia using her magic to interact with it without needing to touch the Keystone. She wasn't about to Mega Evolve Gardevoir. Instead, she would fuse with her once more.
The two of them would face a massive ball of nova energy that would come flying in along with photon rays. Jackie braced himself for the worst before seeing two golden beams pass by him. These beams were Celestia and Gardevoir, flying directly at the nova. And in unison, right as they reached the nova sphere, the two bodies of light would combine, fusing them.
Out came Celestial-Gardevoir. Even in this form, her suit remained, moulding and matching the appearance of this fused being. With her stellar power, she would grab the nova bomb, stopping it from crashing into the stairway and eveyrone else on it. Her light would radiate beautifully in response to holding the bomb. The light rays from her body would then pierce the nova, diminishing its power while also intercepting the photon rays.
"Go on ahead!" Celestial-Gardevoir looked down at everyone else. "Reach Jirachi with all the time you can get! Don't say anything else!"
"O-Okay!" Twilight stuttered as Celestial-Gardevoir would choose to keep everything else threatening at bay with all that she could. In this state, she was the strongest entity here by far, so her strength was to be trusted. Ash and everyone else would advance once Celestial-Gardevoir brought them some time.
But she wouldn't be alone. The moment a spiral of photons would fly in, trying to catch her off guard, Luna and Darkrai would be there to intercept this. They didn't go ahead at all.
"As if I'd let you stay behind." Luna said to Celestial-Gardevoir. "We refuse to do so."
"Luna...Darkrai..." Celestial-Gardevoir would gawk as the remaining Canterlot Guards would also assist her, standing by their ruler to the bitter end. "Oh, I should've seen this coming. But I'm glad you're here with me. Make way for Ash and everyone until they make it to Jirachi!"
Celestial-Gardevoir would then mix her Plasma Bolt with Equestrian Magic, forming an incadescent beam that would be thrown at a crescent shaped cosmic bombarded. The bombardment would be plentiful, raining down at outstanding speeds which would force Celestial-Gardeovir, Luna and Darkrai to keep up with what they had.
The crescents would then expand in both size and numbers, pressuring them. Celesital-Gardevoir would choose to push herself once more for the sake of the future. She didn't care about her own safety at this point. Luna used every ounce of Lunar Ire's Magic and her own standard magic against the crescents which would soon combust around each other.
Seeing that the outburst was starting to grow, the guards would attempt to shield their rulers with their own bodies, only to have the pulses blown them away. The Canterlot Guards could not reach them at all, joining the other rangers and researchers and heading back to the white passageway.
As the combustion greew, Celestial-Gardevoir, Luna and Darkrai would be enveloped in a galactic light. And even when the light was approaching, they would continue to try and fend it off. But piercing the light was none other than a quasar ray. This ray would hit Celestial-Gardevoir square in her chest when she least expected it. The light perfectly masked this quasar, making it difficult to even detect.
"Sister!" Luna would cry out her name before being struck by the quasars as well. Darkrai was not exempt from this as he would get a taste of the quasars. Knocked off balance, they would find themselves being covered by the light.
The same went for everyone else. Fluttershy could hear the cries the further she went but at this rate, she might not even see the Jirachi. The quasars would appear before Ash's group, rushing along the Golden Stairway. This luminous active galactic nucleus would roar before growing to a staggering size, almost resembling a mouth.
"Thunderbolt!"
"Dazzling Gleam!"
"Pikachuuuu!" Pikachu and Espeon would attack this quasar wave, keeping it at bay. However, the quasars would suddenly multiply at stupendous speeds, pressuring Pikachu and Espeon to keep this up.
The quasars would then scatter, diverging into smaller yet still potent attacks try and surprise everyone. Jackie noticed one of these quasars coming after Rarity and Applejack as he would swiftly grab them both "I got you!" By the skin of his teeth, Jackie saved them from these quasars that would then fly by.
However, without looking behind him, Jackie received a hit from more quasars, damaging his Technomagic protection as he would drop Rarity and Applejack. Rarity and Applejack would also find themselves being by these galactic nuclei. The Technomagic protection around them would break apart, failing to sustain forever.
"Applejack! Rarity!" Ash cried out before ducking a quaser. "Jackie!"
"I can hear them...The Jirachi are close!" Just then, Flutteershy could hear a more audible Jirachi cry. It was clearer to her than before. But her distance from them would be rejected as Fluttershy's Technomagic shield would be obliterated. "Gh!"
"Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash would attempt to catch Fluttershy once more, only to be hit by an incoming nova strike from above. The pegasus would find herself being shot out of the air, tumbling on the stairway as her protection was removed as well.
"Mew!" Mew turned himself into a Pokemon large enough to protect them all. And of course, his usual favourite, Lugia was his main pick. The New Species Pokemon emerged as Lugia, using his massive body as a shield.
Bt that only made him more vulnerable to the destructive capabilities of this dimension. As Lugia, Mew took a barrage of Nova rays before he could use an attack. Everyoen was struggling to keep it together. These cosmic were greater than what they've faced before, putting them all on the back foot.
And with this constant expulsion of pulses, the Technomagic around each suit would break apart, making way for the second protective force. The suits themselves. Pinkie Pie could feel herself stagger and shake without any way to avoid it. Mew would fall over as a Lugia, returning to his original form, unable to handle each crushing attack. Seemingly, no one could.
"Jirachi...!" Ash would growl, looking into the cosmic storm that stood in his way. Very soon, his techonmagic protection would break apart as well.
Kanto. Pallet Town. Afternoon.
Waiting for her son to return was Delia. .She would sit patiently, gazing at the blue skies and anticipating some sort of universal reaction that would signify the successful wish.
She also thought about Ash, putting her hands together to pray for his safety. After all, her son has been in the most amount of danger to date. She has seen him go through so much and overcome so much. A part of her should feel safe knowing that he could overcome whatever was thrown at him but another part feared that his limits would catch up and overtake him.
Delia couldn't do much about it. No one could. Not even Ash's father. At this moment, Delia missed him more than ever, hoping that Ash would still be here and meet with his father once more. Delia's heart would tense up as a bad feeling rushed through her.
"Ash..." Delia's bad feeling correlated with Ash. Her prayers would continue as she let the silence consume her. Right now, silence is what she needed.
Another Dimension.
Back at the dimension, with their protective Technomagic aura gone, Rainbwo Dash and the others would be carried away, unable to keep steady. All remaining POkemon Rangers, including Jackie would end up the same.
"N-Not like this!" Rainbow Dash yelled before having her voice fade in the background.
"T-Twilight...Ash!" Fluttershy cried out as she would fly off with them. Rarity and pplejack would follow suit, doing their best to hold onto the stairway, only to fail.
"Guys!" Ash cried out for all them before seeing Twilight starting to slip and nearly succumb to the powerful pushback.
"Ash...!" Twilight yelled as she witnessed Espeon fly off. The Princess of Friendship was seemingly next as her own magical power wasn't enough to keep her in one place. "I don't think we can make it at this point...It's too much! Far more than what we expected! This amount of RIft nergy is too large for us, I'm afraid..."
Twilight feared that this was as far as they would go. No matter what, this dimension always had something for everyone, harming them in various ways. And yet, the distance from them to the Jirachi was unclear. Though Fluttershy said they were close, they might never be that close with all of this cosmic energy
"No way!" But Ash greatly refused. He refused to believe that it was too much and it was impossible. "We've come this far...And we promised everyone we'd make things right. Turning back and letting the Rift win just won't slide!"
"Pika-Pi..."
"If the Rift wants to stop us at all costs then fine! But I'll make sure there's a future where everyone can meet up again!" Putting his well-being on the line, Ash would exude Ara from his body while summoning Sir Aaron's staff. The staff would enlarge in his arm, flowing with a stellar amount of Aura. "Sir Aaron...help me out here!"
Gripping the staff with all of his might, Ash would try and perform hat he did back at the other Rift Dmension. An outburst o Aura. He was going all in for this, ready to face Delayed Aura Ataxia at its worst.
"Ash! Don't!" Twilight yelled before slowly slipping away from the stairway.
"Here goes!" Ash roared as the azure colours from his Aura would explode with an amazing light. This whole place was made up of Rift Energy after all. So what better way to attack it than to use its greatest weakness. Aura.
The Aura would expand out of Ash's body in the shape of a sphere, meeting with the Rit Pulses. The pulses would find themselves being erased once they came in contact with the Aura. The novas would crash into the sphere, raining down on it to try and pierce through. Ash pushed himself, allowing his Aura to increase even further.
HIs eyes flashed blue as his suit was starting to break down. This wasn't done by the Rift Energy but by his own power. The Technomagic around him would be blown away by the sheer force of his Aura exploding out of him, removing the first layer of protection. Twilight looked in awe of Ash's erupting Aura before being pulled away by the dimension.
"P-Pika...!" Pikachu was up next as the dimension started trembling in response to Ash's power. Any cosmic attacks were suddenly halted or even interrupted by the flow of Aura that was flying out. The e quasers would fly in to try an stop Ash, repeatedly battering his sphere.
Some would even start piercing through, striking Ash's suit. Ash would growl and grimace at the piercing pain that rained down on him. His suit would take most of the hits but his real body still feel the impact. It truly felt like an entire galaxy was being thrown at him. He couldn't describe it at all but he wouldn't let it slow him.
The dimension would then gain an azure ambience as the cosmic storm up ahead would start shattering. Through the white passageway, the Aura would start to flare out, illuminating parts of space. Ash's screams would erase all silence in this strane dimension as his helmet was blown off.
The only thing protecting him now was the Aura. Sir Aaron's Staff could even be seen cracking as even it wasn't truly indestructible when facing all of this.Ash closed his eyes, feeling his body react in a horrific way. He would even feel his heart accelerate as the Aura would maintain it with all that it had.
To try and stop this, the dimension would then unleash a mixture of Novas, Quasars, Photons and various other comsic elements to try and stop Ash Ketchum. This would then become supernova of cosmic elements that would soon match Ash's gigantic Aura Sphere.
Ash gazed at the Galactic Supernova and yet that awasn't enough to scare him. Nothing was enough to scare him now. Not when so much was on the line.
He thought back to the day he and Twilight first met when their paths crossed. It was a rather humorous encounter as both would react in ways they only knew how. He could remember it all clearly.
"In the meantime, I have a few questions for you... uhh."
"My name is Ash Ketchum."
"Ash Ketchum...What kind of a name of is that?"
"Well, what's yours then?"
"Twilight Sparkle."
"I'm not giving it all up...Not ever! Without all my friends here to support me...I can't become a Pokemon Master!" And with that final eruption from his voice, his Aura would peak. It was higher than what he had ever done. Een higher than Victini gave him.
The Cosmic Storm along with the Galactic Supernova would be overwhelmed, losing to the Aura. There would be an outburst of eight different explosions with different sounds. The sounds were impossible to comprehend as a multitude of colours would flash by faster than anyone could see.
And faster than anyone could comprehend, the entire dimension would be enveloped in this azure light, even reaching outside. Ash would find himself being caught up in his own light as well as everything felt silent from the overwhelming pressure affecting his ears.
It all died down.
The explosion of Aura and Cosmic Energy would come to an end, seemingly leaving this dimension in one piece. Ash himself was floating in this vast dimension, seemingly unconscious. But he hung in there as Sir Aaron's staff, which had been greatly damaged, would fly out of his grasp.
Ash was currently alone now as the Aura particles would fly everywhere, showcasing how hard he pushed himself. The Delayed Aura Ataxia would soon take him, meaning that he would pass out in this dimension. And withe everyone else out of his sight and with no sign of any cosmic energy trying to ake him away, Ash wouldn't be forced out
However, that was when something else appeared before him. Right above him, a bright and divine light would beautifully appear, giving Ash some time to gaze at it. And out of that light, a familiar figure would appear. The figure that mattered more than anyone and the one who would bring about that shining future.
Jirachi.
"JIrachi..." Ash uttered as he was the first to see and reach Jirachi. But this wasn't just any Jirachi.
"Ash!" Calling out his name, this Jirachi would recognize Ash, flying to his aid. But it wasn't just this one. Grabbing the staff and preventing it from drifting endlessly was another Jirachi. All of them flocked here. "Ash! Ash!" Are you alright?!"
"Hey...Jirachi..." Ash smiled with a weakened voice. He would be met by billions and billions of Jirachi who would hold him up and surround him, amazed to see someone else here that wasn't a Jirachi. "Ugh..."
"Ash. I knew you'd come for me." Jirachi softly smiled. This very Jirachi was the one whe knew back in his adventures in Hoenn. "I never lost hope."
"T-That's...great..." Ash's voice was starting to weaken some more as his consciousness was slowly slipping. "I came here to do two things...save you all...and help everyone back home. Jirachi. Please grant my wishes..."
"We're listening, Ash." All the Jirachi would gladly listen to whatever wish he had to say. Ash had to make it quick otherwise he would pass out.
"I wish to unnify both worlds. I want to keep them forever and maintain these bonds...And I wish...for you all toe be free."
"Is there anything else?" All the Jirachi were satisfied with what they heard. One of them involved their freedom. finally, someone could speak a wish that would grant them happiness. And together, their bodies would all glow as it would be a unified wish. Fitting, for what was coming soon.
"I Wish..." Before he could speak his next wish, he passed out as the light from every Jirachi would envelop this endless dimension.
There was only peace now. Peace in the form of this incadecent light. All those who were forced out would witness the light as well as it would farther than Ash's Aura. The universe itself would be graced with the light of Jirachi. An abundance of them.
In the matter of seconds, the universe, both universes, would meet with the light in the skies. Everyone from all sides looked up to witness their world being caught up in yet another global-enveloping light. Or in this case, a universal enveloping light. No one would say a word. They would only stay quiet, mesmerized by what they saw. And with a smile on her face, Delia Ketchum could stand up, looking proud and at peace.
Right now, for this moment, peace was all that would eixst.
As the journey continues.

No words can describe how amazing this whole thing was and you made a BIG accomplishment Amar. Having not only reach 1,000 chapters but also having the LONGEST story in this fanfiction.

Pacing is actually pretty good, theres just a lot of things in the story.
The official world record for most words written in a story is 3 Million, but that record was broken by multiple writers on this site so idk what the real record is now.
