400 Chapters. Great! Only 600 more until 1000.

The Endless and Marvellous World of Pokemon.

There are as many stories as there are these incredible creatures. Mystical and unexplainable Creatures that hold powers beyond one's imagination.

Most Pokemon live amongst the land from all corners of the world or even living amongst civilization. But some remain secret to all but a select few. Others have become the stuff of legends. And there are those that are born of our dreams. Like the Pokemon themselves, these tales have survived the test of time.

And with each passing day, countless adventures unfold. From the top of the world to the bottom of the sea. To all, there is seemingly an infinite number of Pokemon out there with countless species that continuously add to the Pokemon Lore. Even some that have yet to be discovered in different worlds.

But of course, they don't do it alone.

Humans, ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, zebras and even changelings as well as other yet to be discovered races live in harmony with these wonderful creatures.

Some partake in sporting competitions. By combing strength, courage, wisdom and trust, the partners hope to emerge victorious in what are known as Pokemon Battles. Although some prefer other sporting competitions such as Pokemon Contests which feature the same combinations.

Together, Pokemon, humans, ponies and more share the world in Friendship, Peace and Harmony. And all share wishes with each other.

That brings us to a young man by the name of Ash Ketchum, who has wishes of his own. First and foremost is to become a Great and Powerful Pokemon Master. And with Pikachu by his side, he's well on his way.

His wishes and goals burn brighter than anyone else.

Together, they travel on a Pokemon journey. Meeting along the way friends with hopes and dreams of their own. Some have accomplished those dreams while still seeking more about Pokemon in general. Much like Twilight Sparkle and her friends who have new Pokemon-related dreams.

To discover new Pokemon.

To explore the world.

To become the very best trainer ever and with so many more motivations that can only be described as pure.

But not all intentions are pure.

Olivine City, Hollow and Jewel's mansion. Late afternoon. Upstairs.

"Milotic! Dragon Pulse!" Jewel commanded her Milotic to blast the incoming Pokemon with Dragon Pulse as a dragon-shaped blast came flying out of the Tender Pokemon's mouth, knocking out some of the Pokemon in front of it.

Right now, many of the influenced ponies and Pokemon had been immobilized thanks to great teamwork. And each time they were defeated, Rarity's Leavanny would use String Shot to restrain them.

"Altaria! Ice Beam!" Rainbow Dash ordered as Altaria shot out a beam of ice that hit the ground, creating a large cascade wall of sharp ice that stood in front of the pursuers while also freezing some of them in the process.

By this point, no matter how many there were, they weren't exactly a proper match for trainers who have high experience and skill. J's Desire could send as many of them as she wanted to, but they couldn't match the skill that Celestia and the others had.

However, with how many of them there were, there could reach a point where it could be tiring. Even skilled trainers can only take so much at a time. Luckily, they've managed to deal with most of them who had invaded the mansion. If more from the other world arrived then that would just cause further problems.

"Alright." Rarity looked at the ponies and Pokemon her Leavanny and Pheromosa had rounded up. "We have this many. If we can free them all, then that Desire will be so useless all we would need is some firm talking to get rid of it."

"Yeah." Rainbow Dash descended. "But we'd better hurry. There could be more coming here. Hope is Ash is alright."

Middle floor.

Some of the pursuers had reached the middle floor, continuing to search for Ash. They came across a room that was mostly electrical-based from the look of it. Appliances and a PC filled the place.

Although, Ash wasn't exactly on the middle floor at the moment. So searching here was essentially pointless. But they would keep looking either way.

However, there was something to be experienced in this room. The PC and appliances themselves served a purpose. In truth, they weren't actually there to be used. They were there for something else.

"Hm..." A pegasus kept her ears sharp as she could hear some sparks coming from the appliances. She didn't think too much of it since it was probably just an electrical fault.

Except it wasn't.

"Rotom!" It was a Rotom. A Rotom had just possessed the electricity of the mansion. All of it. It was living plasma after all. By using the wires, Rotom had grabbed a hold of the pegasus and the other ponies and Pokemon here.

"Wagh!" The influenced pegasus and others gasped as they had just been held down by wires. The Rotom then used the electricity from the wires to paralyze the pursuers.

But, those who hadn't been caught by Rotom's wires had backed away, shocked that the wires were suddenly attacking. But that wasn't all they needed to be surprised by.

One pony walked back, bumping into what seemed to be a harmless fridge. When it wasn't. It was another Rotom. More specifically, a Frost Rotom.

"Tom!" The Frost Rotom opened its door, spewing out cold air onto the pony and anyone near him. The cold air was strong enough to summon a flash-freeze as the Plasma Pokemon managed to freeze its victims in place.

Confused as to what was going on, the remaining ponies and Pokemon who hadn't been caught by the wires or Rotom were starting to worry. They had actually never encountered a Rotom before considering their living conditions. Rotom is a Pokemon specifically made for modern homes and electrical purposes. Something that Equestria hasn't yet reached since they were in a somewhat old-school era than the Pokemon World.

One of the Rotom's was in the disguise of a fan. Fan Rotom. A fairly big one too. When one of the ponies tried to give off commands to their Pokemon, the Fan Rotom simply turned on, sending a powerful stream of wind towards its targets. The wind was strong enough to blow its targets away, forcing them to be caught by the other Rotom's wires. Funny enough, the other Rotom's were actually in their Pokemon forms while the one using just an average appliance without taking on a new form.

All of the ponies and Pokemon in here had been captured by the Rotom. Frozen and paralyzed. The Rotom were obviously aware of the home invasion happening right now. So, they will put in work to protect their trainer Hollow from any harm. A shame the same couldn't be said for the mansion which was now in shambles.

2nd middle floor.

Just above the middle floor where the Rotom were, Celestia and Passion were currently freeing some influenced ponies and Pokemon here. Passion was just too strong for the pursuers to handle. And Mega Evolution hadn't even been used yet. They were joined by Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy who helped greatly to restrain them.

"Gardevoir." Passion had just finished freeing the ponies and Pokemon she had defeated, bringing them back to their senses. Although, she may have gone a bit too far as some of them were a bit worn out.

"Thank you, Passion," Celestia said before turning to the others. "Are you all alright?"

"I'm kinda tired..." An earth pony rubbed her eye. "How long have we been doing this?"

"My back hurts..." Another pony groaned. Many of them were unable to continue further. They most likely couldn't help out in all of this and the day was already nearing nightfall.

"Alright. You may all return home and rest. We'll take it from here." Celestia ordered. She didn't want to put those who were unfit to continue in this situation. It was best for them just to head back home. They would have to take a different exit besides the front door considering the rampant battling happening across the mansion.

But those who could continue were ordered by Celestia to help stop this revenge debacle as all of Equestria was still in the midst of this with one side aiming to destroy Ash and the other protecting him.

"It has been getting late now, actually." Twilight looked outside. "At this point...it could last forever if we don't try that Lucario and Passion idea soon."

"Maybe." Celestia nodded. "But it needs to end today. If we can just round up a majority of them, then the Desire will no longer be strong enough to further influence anypony else."

"I just hope Ash is alright." Fluttershy whimpered.

Speaking of Ash, Pikachu and the rest of Ash's Pokemon had reached the 2nd middle floor with Lucario carrying Ash on his back. Celestia and Passion immediately saw the arrival of Ash and his Pokemon with Ash unconscious due to him pushing himself with Aura.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out, grabbing the attention of the rest of his friends.

"Oh my goodness! Ash" Celestia flew over to Ash. "What happened?! Is he alright?!"

"Ash!" Twilight gasped.

"Pikapi. Pikachu."

"He used too much Aura?" Fluttershy translated. "Oh, that ataxia disorder is really troublesome!"

"Using so much Aura in one day would obviously do that." Twilight looked over at Ash. "Ash can't handle all of this. Especially for one day. Freeing so many ponies and Pokemon with Aura is too taxing to his body."

"Then we might not be able to have Lucario and Passion try that strategy." Celestia turned away.

"No..." Ash suddenly mumbled with his eyes slowly opening.

"Ash!" They all turned to him, responding to his words.

"We gotta try it anyway..." Ash groaned. "If it works, all of this will be over."

"But Ash! You just fainted from using so much Aura for most of the day!" Fluttershy said. "We can't do it since it already puts your body at risk!"

"It's fine. I've been through worse anyway." Ash smiled as his body twitched. He was close to fainting again.

"Get some rest, Ash," Celestia suggested. "You're still in grave danger at this point. If they find you in this state then they'll have the opportunity to finish you off."

"I know. But I can't quit here." Ash got off Lucario's back as he was hunched over. His body was starting to take a massive toll on him and he could barely take anymore. But, Ash is known for always hanging in there. "I've got a plan to finish this for good."

"You do?" Pinkie leaned in.

"Instead of just getting up close and personal...We should do it from far away. Lucario and Passion could free everyone that away instead."

"From afar? You mean exuding their magic and Aura out at a distance?" Celestia questioned.

"That's the one." Ash nodded. "I remember back at the Tree of Beginning. You don't need to be super close to use Aura. Lucario can do that for sure. And I know Passion can too."

"Lu?"

"Garde?"

"You gotta use your Aura and magic and make it huge. That way, it'll grab anything from far away. It'll be like using Psychic or magic to hold them."

"That...That could actually work." Celestia realized how big of a breakthrough this was. "We'd be able to save up so much time and possibly end this once and for all!"

"Passion's definitely strong enough to do that." Twilight turned to Celestia. "Plus, there's not that many pursuers left by now."

"It'll be a cinch." Pinkie waved her hoof. "Just take out the ones remaining and we're good to go."

"But, Ash. Won't you have to do it too? You and Lucario need to use Aura together to free them." Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah. I'm gonna do it too." Ash stepped forward before getting on his knees. "We're gonna give it more than 100% this time."

"Not in that state you are!" Twilight exclaimed. "Seriously, Ash. For once can you stop putting yourself in so much danger? You might not be able to make it out everything, ya know?"

"Twilight's right." Celestia looked down at Ash. "This is the most we've seen you so weakened. In fact, it's the first we've seen you in a weakened state. If you were to use Aura once more..."

"You should just get some rest, Ash," Fluttershy recommended. "Audi can try to heal you up."

"Audino!"

"Thanks, guys. But I won't rest yet. Not until it's all over." Ash's arms started twitching as he stood up, even with his numb legs. "I can't become a Pokemon Master if I lose here. So there's no need to worry."

"When you say that, that's when I worry the most." Twilight sighed. "But there's no changing your mind as always. Can we trust you to really make it through this?"

"Sure can." Ash gave a thumbs up with groggy eyes. "Just watch." Having such confidence and optimism was all that Twilight needed to see from Ash. Seeing it also sparked up so much hope since Ash never disappoints.

"In that case, we'll need to gather them all in one spot," Celestia spoke. "This mansion might not do since it has so many rooms. The outside is the best option here."

"We would have to find a way to really drag them out then. They obviously want Ash but he's too weak to be a distraction right now." Fluttershy wondered.

"Maybe we can make a doll of Ash?" Pinkie Pie suggested with an innocent smile.

"Some Pokemon might be too fast for us to try and trick. Not to mention Ghost and Dark-Types will be a major issue with how erratic their movements are." Celestia pondered as they were all thinking of an idea.

"Hm...Distraction...Ash..." Then, Twilight herself came up with a solution that could work out in their favour. "That's it!"

"Huh?" They all turned to her.

"We'll have Mew help out!" Twilight declared. "Mew can turn into any Pokemon there is. Well, aside from a few exceptions. Some of which are Zorua and Zoroark. Those are the only Pokemon that can turn into humans, ponies and other species."

"Oh...!" Pinkie Pie caught on. "Mew can turn into Zorua or Zoroark and then turn into Ash to trick everyone!"

"That way, they won't know about the actual Ash and his whereabouts." Celestia followed up. "But wait. Isn't Mew himself already injured because of Self-Destruct?"

"Audi helped heal him up. I gave Mew some revival herbs too." Fluttershy replied. "He should be good to go with all the playful energy he usually has."

"He sure is!" Pinkie Pie hugged Mew. "And if that doesn't work, we've got the next best solution. I can have my Slurpuff lure the Pokemon in with Sweet Scent."

"It's settled." Celestia grabbed everyone in a group huddle, ready to enact the plan. "We'll also inform Hollow and everyone about it immediately. Here's how we'll approach it then."

Downstairs.

Others had finally reached the downstairs where Ash previously was. But since he had left the downstairs a while ago, there was no point in searching here. However, they didn't know that.

Arriving downstairs, they saw the result of Ash's battle against the Ghost-Type Pokemon earlier. Despite being intangible entities that are not a part of this realm, Ghost-Type attacks sure do know how to leave some mess during their battles. Like most Pokemon.

"He must've come through here." A unicorn said while walking side by side with his Nosepass which was acting as a compass while they followed the trail of destruction.

"Nosepass." The Compass Pokemon was the reason they came down here. It actually had a good hunch knowing that Ash had indeed been here earlier.

The rest of the ponies and Pokemon just followed behind with Nosepass as their guide. Few influenced pursuers remained at this point.

"Can we speed it up already?" A pegasus groaned. "I could be home reading some Daring Do right about now, ya know."

"Not our fault he's so elusive." The unicorn sighed. "Just have to trust Nosepass on this."

"Nose..." Nosepass knew exactly where it was going and its compass nose couldn't fail it. If anything, even if the pegasus from before that spotted Ash going through the gateway never showed up, Nosepass would be a great substitute considering its expert navigation.

However, while the Compass Pokemon was navigating its way through the corridor, something else up ahead caught its attention. Something relating to this whole manhunt.

And everypony else saw it as well.

Up ahead, right at the end of the corridor, Ash could be seen as he came into view the closer they all went. From the signature blue, red and yellow colour scheme he always has with his clothing to the iconic thunderbolt birthmark on his face and confident smirk. It looked exactly like him.

Or so it seemed. But in truth, it was just Mew disguised as a Zorua disguised as Ash. A perfect trifecta.

"Hehehe!" Mew disguised as Ash suddenly giggled, having full energy as he bolted away, leaving the sights of Ash's pursuers.

"Ah! There he is!" The pegasus called out as she and her Pokemon fell for the bait. And so did everyone else since they believed they saw the actual Ash right in front of them.

Thus, falling for the bait meant that they had to follow Mew to wherever he went. But, that was just one part of the plan. As the pursuers pursued Mew, from the corner, Pinkie Pie and her many Slurpuff's poked their heads out, seeing the pursuers fall for the bait.

With confident looks on their faces, Pinkie and Slurpuff knew that they could play out the second part of the plan. Not all of her Slurpuff were with Pinkie. The rest were somewhere else in the mansion. "Okay. Sweet Scent go."

All at once, each of Pinkie's Slurpuff spun their arms around, releasing bright pink powders with light pink sparkles inside of them. These powders wafted through the air as they immediately filled the air and atmosphere considering how many Slurpuff there were.

"Pass?" And of course, similar to Slurpuff, Nosepass also had a fairly responsive nose. While not on the same level as Slurpuff, it was still fairly potent. "Thus, the Compass Pokemon and all other Pokemon froze in place, responding to the aroma of Sweet Scent. "Nosepass."

"Hm?" The unicorn and the ponies noticed how their Pokemon were suddenly turning around, going the opposite direction with silly looks on their faces. "Hey. Nosepass? Where are you all going?"

"No, Ducklett!" The pegasus flew in front of Ducklett. "That way! He went that way!"

"Ducklett. Ducklett." Ducklett was too enchanted by the Sweet Scent to ignore it. After all. Sweet Scent is so potent that a Pokemon will not sway away from it until they have reached the source of it.

A prime example would be what happened at the Pokemon Festival with Ash and the Sweet Scent Supreme. The plan was to actually separate the Pokemon from the ponies. The ponies tried getting their Pokemon to go the other way but the Pokemon refused. Even when trying to grab their partners, the Pokemon would either just walk through them or jump out of their grasp.

"Right where we want 'em..." Pinkie Pie giggled as Mew came back into view as Ash. The ponies were the only ones focused on Ash while the Pokemon were drawn to the Sweet Scent. The ponies looked at Ash and back at their Pokemon, deciding which one to go after.

"Ah forget it!" The ponies chose to go after Mew while the Pokemon followed the Sweet Scent. Mew giggled as he dashed off to where he was previously.

A two-sided chase had begun. Mew had run upstairs, leaving the downstairs and entering the middle floor while the ponies chased him down. Even if he transformed into Ash, he still kept the same speed he had as a Mew, making him a tricky one to keep up with.

When entering the second floor, Mew grabbed the attention of the nearby ponies and Pokemon who were confused as to why Rainbow Dash and the others just up and vanished without continuing the battle or ending it.

The ponies and Pokemon on the second floor gasped, locking their eyes on the New Species Pokemon who had the appearance of Ash, chasing after him.

"There!" An earth pony bellowed as he ran ahead of everyone. And them chasing after Mew meant that they would eventually cross paths with the ponies who came from downstairs.

And that's when the rest of Pinkie's Slurpuff could work their magic. But not all of them were in this room. After all, each of her Slurpuff were in different parts of the mansion. She had 11 in total. By poking their heads through the door, three Slurpuff used Sweet Scent at the same time.

The wafting aroma filled the room, immediately grabbing the attention of the Pokemon on the 2nd floor. They came to a screeching halt before turning in the direction of where the scent came from. Just like the Pokemon downstairs, they had become enchanted by Sweet Scent.

"Hey!" The earth pony turned around. "Where are you all going?!"

"Ignore them! They won't listen!" The pegasus flew by.

Soon, on all floors, Mew had drawn everyone he had passed by as if they were moths to a flame. Thanks to his great speed, he was able to move around the mansion in little time. He could just use his teleportation to make it quicker but that would make it too obvious. Had to be authentic.

And on each floor, there was a Slurpuff waiting, using Sweet Scent to separate the Pokemon from their trainers. In large groups too. This only further confused the trainers as they weren't sure why their Pokemon were suddenly splitting up. They were too blinded by revenge towards Ash to stop and go after them.

At the same time, Celestia and the others weren't anywhere to be found. That's because they were all hiding and waiting in secrecy. Preparing for the right time to strike.

Soon, Mew had drawn in every influenced pony while their Pokemon were all separated. And of course, Mew was heading to the outside since that would be less cluttered than the indoors.

As for the Slurpuff, despite them luring the Pokemon away from their trainers, the goal was still to bring them outside with Sweet Scent so that Ash, Lucario and Passion can free them all in one go.

And right outside, Ash and the others were waiting.

"Here they come." Hollow whispered as he and the others hid next to the Battle Tower which was very close to the mansion. "You three ready?"

"Ready as we'll ever be..." Ash spoke in a weak voice.

"Just be careful, alright, Ash?" Rarity pleaded.

"Mew!" Mew cried out as he finally stopped running. He did his job by luring all of the ponies outside. And so did the Slurpuff as they had brought every Pokemon here. Right next to the Battle Tower.

Pinkie Pie, who was amongst her friends, used her Poke Ball to retrieve each of her Slurpuff, causing the Pokemon to lose the trail of sweet scent. Not only that, but the Pokemon had met up with the trainers. At the end of the day, they all came to the same spot.

"Huh?" The ponies looked at their Pokemon. "You came here either way? Guess they just have a different way of chasing prey down, huh?"

"That's a pretty big coincidence." Another pony said before squinting her eyes. "Unless..."

"Now!" Celestia exclaimed as Ash, Lucario and Passion revealed themselves from behind the Battle Tower. There was no time to waste. This is where they put an end to it at once.

"Here goes!" MImicking what he did at the Tree of Beginning, Ash put his arms out, startling everyone as they saw a double Ash in front of their eyes. Mew hadn't yet reverted to his normal form. He stayed as Ash just to further confuse the pursuers.

"Lucario!"

"Gardevoir!" Both Passion and Lucario put their arms out as they synced up with Ash. From all three of their bodies, a vibrant blue Aura and dazzling pink Fairy magic emanated out of them.

Both forms of energy merged as one as they grew to a radius so wide they engulf the entire mansion. But instead of the mansion, they engulfed all of the remaining influenced ponies and Pokemon.

Like a unicorn or alicorn using magic or a Psychic-Type using Psychic or Telekinesis, the Aura and Fairy Magic held their targets in place in an instant. Now they had them within their grasp as the Rift energy was already being held by it.

The influenced ponies and Pokemon winced as they felt their bodies being restrained. Speaking of wincing, Ash himself was already feeling the ataxia coming through him. However, J's Desire didn't want to lose like this. Not now anyway.

It was at this point where J's Desire started fighting back by exuding itself. Even at a weakened state, the Rift energy was that strong to fight back against anything that threatens it.

J's Desire was now combating Ash and Lucario's Aura and Passion's magic. This prompted the three of them to exert more energy than they usually do.

"Ugh!" Ash held his chest as he could already feel his body reaching his limits.

"Lu!" Lucario gasped, looking at Ash.

"It's fine, Lucario!" Ash almost got down on one knee. "Just keep pushing it!"

"V-Voir!" Passion flinched from this sudden power struggle as she already started pouring in more magic. Soon, the dark purple aura of J's Desire showed itself. The energy of the Desire was now visible to everyone as it was pushing back the Aura and Fairy Magic.

This was possibly the largest Desire yet as it was also capable of engulfing an entire mansion. Or even beyond as it seemed to continue growing in size. J's Desire was so determined to exact revenge that its drive for revenge was large enough to surpass the two forms of energy it was clashing against as all of Olivine City could see it.

It could even be seen from high up in the skies or far away from Olivine City at one of the routes.

"There it is!" Pinkie Pie gasped as Mew returned to his original form. "It's humongous!"

"Mew!"

"It's larger than any other Desire we've seen!" Celestia was gobsmacked by the sheer size of this Desire as it was starting to overpower Ash, Lucario and Passion.

"Lu-Lucario!" Lucario felt a powerful pulse go through him as he was being pushed back by the Desire as well as Passion and Ash.

"G-Garde..V-Voir!" Passion lowered her head. The three of them could feel their arms twitching uncontrollably. Especially Ash who was already nearing his limit.

The ground beneath everything was starting to tremble from this struggle as the residents of Olivine City could feel this tremor as well.

"N-Not yet!" Ash growled as he poured more of his Aura in, pushing himself even further with his hat starting to fly off. "Just a bit more!"

Despite how large J's Desire to take revenge on Ash was, Ash's drive to succeed was even greater. Even when Pokemon Battling isn't involved. His drive helped increase his Aura, changing the tides of this power struggle.

Very soon, the struggle was so great that not only as trembling Olivine City but also most of Johto. And it looked like it would keep on growing in strength as other regions may be affected by this. The three forms of energy soon engulfed every building, human, pony and Pokemon nearby.

But, what was also affected was the other world since the gateway was so close. The Aura, Fairy Magic and Desire had reached Equestria in seconds.

The Pokemon of Deerling Forest had been caught by these three energies while their forest was shaking. Soon, Pikachu Highlands as well and eventually the Aura, Magic and Desire kept moving, continuously growing in size.

Celestia and everyone could feel a mighty pressure coming from this struggle as it was equal to a hurricane, forcing the ruler of Equestria and everyone to stay firm on their hooves, feet, paws and whatever lower limb the rest had.

"All of Johto will be blown away by this point!" Hollow held onto the walls of the Battle Tower.

"Worse..." Celestia groaned. "Just like before with Passion's power overload...this might blow away both worlds!"

"Both worlds?!" Twilight gasped.

"Unless one of them wins this struggle, we'll all be gone and wiped out in seconds!" Celestia warned as Ash, Lucario and Passion heard what Celestia said.

"That won't happen!" Ash declared. "No one's getting blown away!"

"Pikapi!" Pikachu held onto Dragonite who was the recommended Pokemon to grab onto in this scenario.

Ash's hat flew off as his hair was starting to rise from this struggle. His Aura colour became vibrant and more saturated as he opened his mouth. When opening his mouth, Ash's eyes started flashing blue as he let out a determined roar. One that was fierce enough to intimidate almost anyone.

With his burning determination, Ash started moving forward with his hands out, pushing the Desire back. His skin was heating up from all this Aura usage. Almost as if he was being burnt.

"T-This is...Nothing!" Ash bellowed as the ground below was starting to tear apart. Ash kept moving forward while the Desire was starting to break down. Ash could then feel all the Aura from within rising at an alarming rate. "I can feel it! The Aura is with me!"

Lucario and Passion looked at Ash, stunned with their eyes widening. At this point, Ash was the one doing the heavy lifting as he was the only one moving with the Aura.

"Ash?" Twilight's jaw dropped as she and her friends witnessed Ash pushing back something far larger than him as his jacket started tearing apart with his hair glowing with Aura.

And just then, as if it couldn't get more surprising, right behind Ash, two figured emerged. Figures that were familiar to him and Pikachu.

These were the figures of Sir Aaron and his Lucario. From beyond the afterlife itself, they were assisting Ash in this. They did share the same Aura pattern as well.

"Who are they?" Fluttershy gawked, noticing the apparitions of Sir Aaron and Lucario. Twilight was able to recognize them from the books about the Pokemon World she had read.

"We know this isn't your best." Sir Aaron and Lucario both suddenly spoke to Ash. "You can do better than, right, Ash?"

"Yes!" Ash nodded as he let out one last roar.

And that final roar is what he needed. With one final push, Ash broke his limits and let out all of his Aura in one go. His yell echoed across the area as his Aura even let out a roar of itself.

The Desire couldn't hold something like this back as Lucario and Passion put the rest of their efforts into this by also going past their limitations with Ash.

Thus, the Desire had been consumed by Aura and Fairy Magic. Like a creature devouring its food, the purple Rift energy was gone as both the Aura and Fairy Magic imploded on each other afterwards, creating a beautiful blue and purple light show before shattering into tiny pieces like glass. Small blue and pink stardust fell from above afterwards as everypony and Pokemon dropped the ground with the trembling coming to an end.

"Hah..." Ash breathed out blue smoke from his mouth as he lowered his hands. It was finally over. With the wind settling and the golden sun beaming through the skies in the late afternoon, everything calmed down as all the ponies and Pokemon were back to their senses.

Not just that. But with the Desire gone from everyone, all of Equestria was freed from its influence due to the sheer size of that struggle affecting both worlds.

"Lu." Lucario sat down along with Passion.

"Garde."

"Told ya it'd work!" Ash raised his fist into the air before falling on his back, exhausted.

"Pikachu!" And of course, with a victory like that Pikachu ran over to his trainer with joy.

"Ash!" Twilight grinned as she also flew over with everyone.

"You three are amazing!" Pinkie Pie cheered for Ash, Passion and Lucario after something as wonderful as that.

"Oh, Passion!" Celestia hugged the Embrace Pokemon with her own embrace.

"Garde."

"Man...What a rush." Ash sighed as Pikachu climbed onto his stomach.

"Pikapi!"

"Geez! Ash! Can you go one year without endangering yourself?" Twilight looked over at Ash.

"But it looks like you managed to push through to the very end!" Fluttershy said. "Even after all that."

"Yeah, and you had like some guy and a Lucario show up behind you. What was up with that?" Rainbow Dash wondered.

"Sir Aaron and Lucario were just giving me words to push on." Ash laughed. "Worked out in the end as always huh?"

"I guess so." Twilight nodded. "Great job, Ash."

"Thanks. Now..." Ash was slowly closing his eyes as he could barely move his body. He had finally reached his limit. Once more, he was about to faint. "I'm gonna...clock out for a bit."

And thus, Ash's eyes closed as he had fainted while still being in one pose as everyone watched him fall unconscious. The last thing Ash saw were all of his friends.

And that was that.

Kanto. Pallet Town. Night.

Right back at his home at Pallet Town, Ash had been placed in his bed. Nightfall had already arrived by this point. And why wouldn't it? After all that chasing, battling and Aura and magic usage, the night was something that everyone needed.

"Mmm..." Ash opened his eyes as he was starting to wake up finally. The light of the moon shined on his face the moment he awoke as if it was responding to his awakening.

And right next to him was of course Pikachu, who always sleeps next to Ash. The young trainer sat up from his bed as his body felt fine instead of having issues like twitches, numbers or aches.

"Pi-Pikachu..." Pikachu snored in his sleep.

"Man..." Ash held his head as he looked over at his hat on the table. "Feeling refreshed, Ash got off from his bed, placing his hat back on.

"Chu?" Pikachu slowly opened his eyes, noticing that his trainer was awake. "Pikapi!"

"Hey, Pikachu. Good to see you alright."

"Pika-Pikachu!"

"Man, was I out until night? I recovered pretty quickly from that ataxia." Ash looked at his hands as he walked out of his room with a refreshed body. But, he was also feeling hungry and needed something to eat from all that running.

Leaving his room, he could already hear some noises coming from the kitchen. Sounded as if something was being made, which was good news to Ash's ears and stomach.

As he entered the kitchen, he found his mom and Mimey, making food in the middle of the night. Something rare in the Ketchum household.

"Mom?" Ash spoke, grabbing the attention of both Delia and Mimey.

"Ah! Ash!" Delia put her cooking on hold as she witnessed her son wide awake. Seeing Ash awake after what had just happened to him brought tears to her eyes as she rushed over to her pride and joy, giving him a powerful hug. "Thank goodness!"

"Ough!" Ash's eyes expanded from the hug.

"Oh! I know you've been through a plethora of daring events but I still worry about you. You know that?"

"Heh. Sorry, mom. Guess I can't stay out of trouble, can I?"

"Well...That means you're a lot like your father then. Always in the midst of danger no matter what. You two just can't go anywhere without having adrenaline pumping scenarios following you."

"Yeah. But I recover super fast, don't I? Only took one day for the ataxia to wear out."

"One day? Ash. You've been asleep for four days."

"Four days?!" Ash gasped as he pulled back. "Seriously?!"

"The toll taken on you was capable of rendering you unconscious for days. According to Twilight. Everyone from Pallet Town and Ponyville were so worried about you."

"Woah..." Ash held his head. "Guess I really overdid it, huh."

"Oh, but you prevented that whole revenge problem from being fully complete. I swear when I find that Hunter J or whatever, I'll give her a piece of my mind for trying to harm my son!" Delia swore to exact her own revenge on J someday.

"At least it's over." Ash then looked outside, seeing that from how the moon was descending, the morning was approaching eventually.

"Go. Your Pokemon are outside waiting for you." Delia let her son go.

"Oh. Right!" Ash nodded as he rushed outside with Pikachu, back in high spirits.

Exiting his house, to be expected, his Pokemon were there, anticipating their trainer's recovery. Now, they wouldn't have to anticipate anymore as they all witnessed Ash exiting the house.

"Hey, guys!" Ash cried out as his Pokemon had wide smiles on their faces. In perfect unison, they all rushed over, overwhelming their trainer with a group hug. "Agh! G-Great to see you too!"

"Pikachu!"

"Gengar!"

"Dragonite!"

"Lucario."

"Far." But, Lucario and Farfetch'd were actually standing back. Like Absol, they don't really do hugs and weren't very fond of them at all.

They all shared a hug for a while before something else caught Ash's eye that he noticed. Beyond his Pokemon surrounding him, there was a certain alicorn standing in front of the gateway.

The only pony who had passed through the gateway connecting to Ponyville and Pallet Town.

Twilight Sparkle, of course.

"Oh, Twilight!" Ash raised his arm as his Pokemon separated from their trainer. He then walked over to Twilight who seemed fine at first. But when getting closer, it was revealed that she had tears in her eyes. "Hm? What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Twilight whimpered before rubbing her eyes with tears falling out. "I'm just glad to see you alright again, Ash."

"Mhm." Ash nodded. "I'm always gonna be alright. No matter what."

"You say that but..." Twilight sniffled. "What if one day something goes horribly wrong and you don't make it out like you always do? I don't...we don't want to lose you, ya know." She then looked up at Ash who still had that hopeful smile on his face as always. "But...I guess you already know that, don't you?"

"Sure do. I'm gonna make it through the worst of the worst as always. Even when things get tough and seem impossible, I've always got some great friends to help me through it all." He gave a thumbs-up as the golden sun finally showed itself through the skies.

"Pikachu!"

"Count on it, Twilight."

"I will!" Twilight also let out a hopeful smile too with one final tear dropping from her face.

As the journey continues.
