Song of the Sea

Hoenn. Lilycove City. Late Afternoon.

The Dragon Force continues to attack the land. The Sea Temple had just recently shown up via lightspeed travel, landing at Lilycove's seas. The vicious tsunami that had been made via the Dragon Force had been redirected thanks to Gardevoir. The mother of Passion. However, it was just barely redirected.

Gardevoir stayed outside in case something like that happened again. But she was also curious about the Sea Temple. And so was everyone within Lilycove City.

However, despite the purple weather as a result of the Dragon Force and the fact that everything was coming down, there were those aiming to stop the Dragon Force and Necrozma from absorbing all of the light from the crystals. The crystals were needed to save Ash and allow him to unlock the power of the King once more. Even if he was in an entirely different region at the moment.

"Pika!" Pikachu had used Iron Tail, destroying a large obstacle out of the way as he, the rest of Ash's Pokemon, Shining Armor and the guards were looking for the crystals before Necrozma could absorb all of them. They were also helped by the People of the Water.

The Treasure Room was pointless to be in at the moment due to how the tidal wave and Dragon Force had ruined it plus the inclusion of Necrozma's Prismatic Lasers.

Lucario was leading the way since he could sense the Auras of anyone. And it was fairly easy to sense Necrozma's Aura considering how much light he had absorbed.

They made sure to avoid any hazards that would come their way as their quest to find the crystals led them to the spiralling staircase, which was already breaking apart from the Dragon Force.

Meanwhile, Manaphy was also being searched for. Mainly Prince Manaphy as he could help reignite the King of the Sea. However, after being aware of what was going on, the Manaphy were out searching for their friends instead of playing like they were before. And searching for them were the People of the Water.

Thanks to Lucario, they had found Necrozma. And the Prism Pokemon was currently standing at one of the higher parts of the temple where a raging tsunami resided. There, the crystals could be seen as Necrozma had already sapped the light from two of them. Only a few remained for him to consume.

"There it is!" Shining Armor cried out as everyone finally approached the Prism Pokemon. They entered the room he was in, just making it out of the crumbling spiralling staircase. As for Necrozma, his attention was locked onto Shining Armor and the others once they arrived at this room.

This agitated the Psychic-Type. Constantly, his chance to absorb light has been interrupted by those trying to stop him. Needless to say, the Prism Pokemon despised this and saw anyone who would dare rob him of his chance for endless light as his enemy.

Apart from Daybreaker who seems the be the only one aiming to feed Necrozma.

"Pika...!" Pikachu's red sacs flared out electricity once everyone stood before the Prism Pokemon. A thunderous roar boomed throughout the skies as a result of the Dragon Force changing the weather.

"But still no sign of the crystals," Flash said.

"We can sort that issue out later. As long as Necrozma doesn't get anywhere near the rest of them." Shining Armor replied. "Just keep him away from the other crystals and the People of the Water in general."

Necrozma tossed aside the crystals as their light energy had been expended. Thus, Necrozma was stronger than ever, gaining more absurd amounts of light. As if he needed any more at this point. And with this new light, Necrozma wanted to see how much he had benefited from this absorption.

And it immediately showed once he approached the group. With great speeds as always, the Prism Pokemon appeared in front of Shining Armor, Pikachu and Lucario, ready to him them each with Shadow Claw.

"Pi?!"

"Sirfetch'd!"

"Aegislash!" Thankfully, Aegislash and Sirfecth'd were there to be everyone's shields. The two Pokemon put up their shields, getting in front of the others. Necrozma's giant claws swung onto their shields with a staggering sound coming from the impact. However, despite blocking it, Necrozma overpowered their shields at that moment, knocking the two Pokemon away. "A-Aegis!"

"Sir!"

"Pika?!" Pikachu turned around before facing Necrozma. The Mouse Pokemon snarled, using Iron Tail against the Prism Pokemon whilst Lucario had used Force Palm.

Darkrai assisted, trying to use Dark Void to get a quick sleep on the Psychic-Type. Dark Void was always a reliable option followed up with Musharna's Dream Eater.

However, even with three Pokemon attacking him, Necrozma could handle it. He had used Swords Dance on both of his claws, increasing his attack while also using this strength to grab Pikachu's tail and Lucario's palms. Darkrai moved in, aiming to push the Dark Void into Necrozma.

But the end result was Necrozma swinging both Pikachu and Lucario like ragdolls. He had also used them as weapons, hitting Darkrai with Lucario. Darkrai had been hit by his ally as Necrozma had flung both of them. "L-Luca!" Lucario and Darkrai cried out whilst flying in the distance.

Necrozma them prepared to blast Pikachu with Dragon Pulse, holding the Mouse Pokemon close to his face while Pikachu was dizzy from the spinning. "P-Pika..."

"Pidgeot, use Heat Wave!" Flash Sentry ordered.

"Pidgeot!" Saving Pikachu from being blasted, Pidgeot flapped his wings, sending a wave of flames towards the Prism Pokemon. Necrozma was hit. He had cried out as his grip on Pikachu ended. That gave Pikachu the chance to do something, using Iron Tail once more and delivering a swift slap to the face with pure iron.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu then landed before running back. Necrozma felt confounded by Iron Tail's connection. A hit from that distance and weight would befuddle anyone.

"Florges!" Aiming to help everyone take a hit, Florges had used Flower Shield, increasing everyone's defences in the process. She was the best option for support in this instance plus Musharna to an extent.

"Golurk! Hold Necrozma down!"More than that, the Golurk that belonged to the guards approached Necrozma as well. Their aim was to hold the Prism Pokemon down with restraints. And these Ground-Ghost-Types had the muscle to do so. Plus, it would help Darkrai use Dark Void without any issue.

But as if Necrozma would let that happen. He recovered from his stagger, he had used Brutal Swing, knocking away the incoming Golurk with surprisingly superior strength and overall better speed. "G-Gol!" The Golurk winced after taking super-effective damage.

However, the numbers were still vast as Luna's other Pokemon were helping. In came Xatu and Gliscor, governing the skies along with Pidgeot assisting them.

"Xatu!" Xatu started it off with Air Slash while being assisted by Pidgeot who had used Twister. Gliscor flew in the middle of these two attacks, using X-Scissor. He flew next to a twister of draconic energy and blades of air that could slice even the sky.

And yet this wasn't an issue for Necrozma. In response, Necrozma had personally charged into these attacks. But he did it with Giga Impact, charging headfirst. Necrozma, surrounded by a destructive invisible energy had completely powered through Twister and Air Slash, reducing them into nothing from his raw power.

After breaking through them, he then crashed into Gliscor, overpowering his X-Scissor and knocking the Fang Scorp Pokemon away with this devastating Normal-Type move. "G-Gli!"

However, this left Necrozma vulnerable due to the recharge time of Giga Impact. But for a Pokemon as powerful as Necrozma, little time was needed for him. Even still, this gave other Pokemon a chance.

"Pikachu-Pi!" Pikachu had used Electroweb, forming a massive web of electricity that he had flung. The web had landed on the Prism Pokemon as it was perfectly fit for his size. Once it caught him, it had momentarily trapped him while decreasing his ludicrous speed.

"Now! Go Golurk!" That gave the other Golurk the chance to hold him down. They moved in with their jet boosters, holding their massive hands out. Since they were Ground-Types, they could bypass Electroweb without worrying about any damage. The Golurk had grabbed Necrozma's arms and legs, pinning him to the floor.

"Now's your chance, Darkrai!"

"I know!" In came Darkrai, throwing Dark Void directly at the Prism Pokemon, hoping to end this immediately. Necrozma didn't want his feast to end. So to continue this, he had not only absorbed the light from Electroweb but he had also used Autotomize.

By using this Steel-Type move, the Prism Pokemon was lighter and faster than ever. So fast that he had phased through the Golurk by vibrating his body rapidly. But then again, even without Autotomize, he could already do that. "Lurk?!"

Necrozma had then swayed his body, avoiding the incoming Dark Void but just barely. Dark Void was still fairly swift and without caution, it would be a sure-fire hit. After avoiding it, Necrozma had used the Photon Geyser, throwing a giant pillar from his claws.

The pillar hit the floor, summoning massive photon rays that started tearing everything apart. As if the Dragon Force wasn't already doing that. Some of the Pokemon backed away from the Photon Geyser while others were hit.

"Sacred Sword, Aegislash!"

"Aegislash!" But Aegislash had a response to that. He had sliced the pillars in half with his bladed body before advancing on Necrozma.

"Sir! Sirfetch'd!" Then along came Sirfetch'd, using Detect to avoid the pillars. Afterwards, he had used Fury Cutter, leaping off some rubble for a better height.

Necrozma responded kindly with Swords Dance. He and Sirfetch'd met with claws going up against a mighty leek. However, they would not enter a back and forth clash. Instead, Dracovish would use Water Gun, Darkrai went for Dark Pulse, Aurorus would use Aurora Beam while Gengar used Shadow Ball. But Gengar wanted to be up close with this.

Assisting with that was Florges, who had used Petal Dance. Everything so far was being thrown at the Prism Pokemon just to keep him at bay. And even for the mighty Necrozma, being attacked by so many Pokemon was a struggle in the long run.

"Far!" Seeing that Necrozma was far too distracted with all of them, Farfetch'd found the moment to strike. He swung his leek upwards, striking Necrozma with a super-effective hit. The Prism Pokemon staggered from that as that allowed other attacks to come in.

Necrozma had been struck by Petal Blizzard as sharp leaves pelted and assaulted him with the destructive fury of a harsh blizzard, the wrath of darkness and the flow of water. And more than that, the three attacks merged with the blizzard, creating a mixture of Dark, Water Ice and Grass. The Psychic-Type was being carried away by this elemental blizzard.

"Gen...!" Gengar then zoomed through the air, avoiding the ongoing geysers while holding two Shadow Balls in his hand. With the power of teamwork, Gengar smashed the Shadow Balls onto Necrozma while also phasing through the Aurora Petal Blizzard.

Another super-effective hit as the blizzard had dispersed as well. And yet, it wasn't over. Dragonite huffed and puffed, preparing for a mighty Hyper Beam. And it was worth it. With Necrozma still stunned after that assault of attacks, the Dragon Pokemon had used Hyper Beam. "Dra...Gonite!"

The beam tore through the Photon Geysers, expanding and consuming the Prism Pokemon. Necrozma cried out as the result was the Hyper Beam combusting after its initial hit. A paroxysm emerged with a mighty outburst that blew apart parts of this room.

The team took a moment to catch their breath after that struggle with Necrozma. The smoke was clearing as Necrozma had fallen out of this room from how potent that Hyper Beam was. And yet, despite all of that, the Prism Pokemon did not let up.

But he did crash into some nearby water. He may be strong but he was not invincible. Necrozma, after crashing into the water, growled with sheer agitation and frustration.

In this instance, Necrozma had been taken out for a bit. Even with all of that absorbed light, amazing coordination from Pokemon that have strong bonds with not only their trainers but other Pokemon can be a lot to handle.

Hurling through the water, the Prism Pokemon was ready to get back up there. But whilst thinking that, along came the Dragon Force, erupting and flowing nearby it. Necrozma feared that he would take even greater damage.

The Dragon Force caught the Prism Pokemon the moment he was aware of it, engulfing him. Necrozma, for once, was too slow for that. Necrozma fears were coming true as the overwhelming might of the Dragon Force was damaging to even the ruthless Necrozma. Practically nothing was safe from its wrath.

However, while being damaged by the flames, that's when Necrozma felt something different. This overwhelming malice from the Dragon Force, while dangerous, had something unique about it. Despite it having the power to destroy everything, Necrozma could still feel the previous energy from the Dragon Force. The one that helps the land.

The Prism Pokemon then found out that the Dragon Force has some light energy within it. And it felt unbelievable. This feeling was sublime as Necrozma decided to save himself by absorbing the Dragon Force. It was on par with the crystals from what he could feel. Possibly even greater.

After discovering that he could absorb this destructive power for himself, the Prism Pokemon took this opportunity. And what an opportunity it was as his body was pulsating more than ever. Not only that, but due to Necrozma's absorption and influence, the Dragon Force itself was transforming.

"It isn't over yet," Darkrai said whilst hovering over towards the water. "If I can just put him to sleep then-"

Abruptly, cutting the Pitch Black Pokemon was the emergence of the Dragon Force with a new height. However, this wasn't a typical eruption. This time, Necrozma was behind it as he ascended out of the water, splitting it in half.

The water dispersed as Necrozma had only absorbed the light energy from the Dragon Force but the Dragon Force responded to him in kind. The corrupted purple energy of it had transformed before everyone's eyes. And it became some sort of creature.

Having the purple appearance of the Dragon Force while also baring a face with multiple fangs and even having a head slightly similar to Necrozma's. This manifestation also contained two claws resembling that of Necrozma's as well. This energy creature let out a deeper roar than Necrozma but it was still slightly similar to the Prism Pokemon.

"Enough for one day..." Flash Sentry groaned after seeing this creature. As for Necrozma, he was off to continue finding the crystals. He left this manifested creature to handle everything else.

"This must be his form of a distraction. And it's a very good one too." Shining Armor said.

"Then you handle it." Darkrai pointed at Shining Armor and the guards. "Some of us will go after Necrozma."

"Pikachu!" Pikachu was the first to run off with all of Ash's Pokemon following afterwards. Darkrai, Xatu and Musharna joined, going with Pikachu's group.

"Sure. Leave us to deal with this..." Shining Armor said as the energy roared at them. They had one other issue to deal with before this whole thing could be solved.

Meanwhile, at the lower part of the temple, the People of the Water had gathered together. Along with that, the two Manaphy flocked to the commotion after witnessing everything come crumbling down.

Adagio was currently swimming within the ferocious tidal waves as she was fine to do so. Her siren physiology not only allowed her to live underwater but also manage ferocious seas. It works well with how the sirens are fearsome creatures in general.

While swimming through the raging seas and also making sure to avoid the Dragon Force every step or rather stroke of the way, she found one of the crystals, drifting away. Her eyes had locked onto it as she rapidly swam towards the drifting crystals.

"Mana? Mana?" Prince Manaphy was confused as to what was going on. The same went for Flurry Heart's Manaphy.

"Mana-Mana." She said that she wasn't aware either. Their fun playtime had just been interrupted unexpectedly and now there was this energy ripping apart the temple while a flood was ongoing, threatening not just everyone in the temple but even those at Lilycove City.

"We're all here. We just need a crystal. And that way, his majesty can return." A man said as the pillars were obliterated, causing a loud crashing sound nearby. "Hopefully soon..."

"Just the one crystal is needed and we can save him. However, saving the temple and stopping the Dragon Force is a different story." A lady shook her head. "The Treasure Room is long gone because of this destruction and there is nothing left to place them on. I'm afraid there won't be any temple left after this."

"S-So...where are we gonna go then?" Enola tugged on the dress of the lady. "We can't eave the Sea Temple, can we?"

"If it comes down to it, then we, the People of the Water, will have to leave our temple." An old man grumbled with a lowered head. The rest of the People of the Water weren't fond of this decision. This was their home. And despite all that it has gone through, they have never left it behind. But this could be the day that finally happens.

"What's going on here?" While the People of the Water discussed this possibility, the temple gained one extra visitor as their heads faced the sky.

Levitating here was the mother of Passion. Gardevoir. She came to investigate the scene herself due to how all of this threatened Lilycove City and nearby routes. This whole place was her home after all as she had descended.

"A Gardevoir?" One of the people said.

"You all. Did you do this?" She asked the People of the Water as a staircase nearby had collapsed.

"N-No. We didn't! Honestly!" The old man waved his hands. "This was just the result of a power balance being disrupted. We mean no harm."

"What power balance?"

"This!" Popping out of the sea was Adagio Dazzle. And with her, one of the crystals. She got back on the floor still in one piece as a ray of hope had been formed from her actions. "But we can bring that back, right?"

"Ah! A Crystal!" The People of the Water exclaimed with joy as all their attention of Gardevoir had been focused onto the crystal.

"Excellent work, my little pony." A caretaker of the children went up to her. "This is just what we need. King Ash will be saved and reclaim the power of the king once more and-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Adagio interrupted before giving her the crystal. "Just do it already before we all get destroyed, okay?"

"Right. Everyone. Come together." The caretaker ordered as all of the People of the Water gathered in one spot. The crystal had been placed in the middle of them as they all made a circle. Prince Manaphy joined them, standing in the middle with the crystal as well.

Gardevoir still wanted answers to all of this. Adagio went up to the Embrace Pokemon to keep her from interrupting what was about to occur. "It's best you watch before doing anything."

"They said, King Ash...Do they mean Ash Ketchum?"

"That's who they mean." Adagio nodded, confirming to Gardevoir that these people were on friendly terms. Ash was friends with her daughter Passion. But she was still confused and wanted answers as to why this destruction was happening.

Once together, the People of the Water closed their eyes while joining hands. After doing so, Manaphy could do what he does best. Sing. Singing was a prime power in the Temple of the Sea for certain instances. And this was one of them. By joining hands, they had poured their hopes and wishes into the crystal.

Manaphy started singing the song of the sea as the People of the Water were forming the touchstone between them and the Water Pokemon. Manaphy's eloquent singing expanded with the crystal glowing.

Kricketot couldn't help but sing. So could Adagio. But they resisted, not wanting to disrupt this. The song of the sea was ongoing as its sound echoed throughout the water, solely meant to connect with the Water Pokemon. Near and far.

And it certainly was. The Water Pokemon in Lilycove City and near could hear this beautiful song. Even Trainers that owned Water-Type Pokemon. But this wasn't the goal. The goal was to reach the seas of Unova as well.

Even Necrozma heard this song. But he could only dismiss it. Shining Armor and everyone else heard it too as its beautiful sound drowned out the ferocious roar of the Dragon Force. But it went ahead. Using the full power of the crystals, the song was moving at a larger range.

Unova. Underwater. Nightfall.

Deep underwater the seas of Unova, Ash was still hanging in there. Mostly due to how the Dragon Force affected the seas. By splitting parts of it apart, Ash found areas where he could catch his breath. He poked his head through the split parts, gasping.

"Darn it..." Ash uttered. "I can't get anywhere at this rate...If I could just reach the Grand Equestria..." The Grand Equestria, while not close, was around the area.

Ash was also aiming to try and reach Humilau City. Anything. The split parts of the Dragon Force, while helpful for some air, wouldn't last due to the destructive nature of this energy. "Hey!" Ash yelled, hoping someone could hear him. "Anyone?! Golurk?!"

But there was no response. And as if to insult him, the Dragon Force circled around, heading for Ash. Ash backed away as the Dragon Force almost struck his face. But that wasn't the end of it. A seaquake had occurred.

The sea itself trembled, causing Ash to hurl further away and deeper into the ocean. Ash held his hand out, witnessing the Dragon Force block his view. He was surrounded. But he refused to give up even in a scenario such as this. It didn't exist in his dictionary.

Soon, Ash began feeling the heat of the Dragon Force as well. The raging energy covered the sea from even the surface. It had also closed in on Ash, damaging him gradually.

Ash was starting to lose consciousness from the Dragon Force's energy. But he still held his breath, not choosing to let go. Darkness resided below at the deepest parts of these seas. All form of help was essentially gone at this point since the Water-Types had fled from the Dragon Force.

After that, his eyes had closed as he couldn't focus on holding his breath. Ash then fell into the corrupted energy of the Dragon Force afterwards. Just like everything else, it had consumed him.

That is until a resurgence was made.

Reaching from across the seas of Hoenn, Sinnoh and other regions beyond the edge of Unova's seas. The power of the crystals flowed throughout the seas along with the song. The touchstone between the People of the Water and the Water Pokemon had been revived after many years.

And with this touchstone, the one worthy to hold this power and the crown shall be known as King of the Sea. And the king remained. Within the Dragon Force, a golden flash had occurred. A majestic light burst forth before flying out of the corrupted energy.

This light began moving at lightspeeds, similar to the travel device that existed with the Sea Temple. And once out, this ray of light shot into the night sky, becoming free of the depths. Afterwards, the light had followed the sound of the song, hearing its beautiful melody and the direction it came from.

Hoenn. Lilycove City. Nightfall.

"Well? Did it work?" Adagio asked as she was expecting something grand to happen. But there was nothing.

"We've done it." A lady replied. "It should have worked...hopefully. His majesty should be making his way here."

Breaking through the walls of the temple was Dragonite after being knocked away by Necrozma. Everyone gasped as the Dragon Pokemon tumbled along with Lucario who had also been knocked away.

Necrozma had shown up here. And he had found an area with another crystal. The People of the Water backed away as the Prism Pokemon looked down on them all.

Enola saw the crystal, picking it up from the floor and holding it close to her. She knew it was dangerous but she wouldn't allow Necrozma to take its power.

"What is that?!" Gardevoir gasped.

"The one responsible for all of this," Adagio replied. "If you want to blame someone blame him."

"D-Dragonite...!" Dragonite stood up, flapping her wings as she had flown towards Necrozma. Lucario assisted, hopping on her back. Dragonite and Lucario had combined forces as the Dragon Pokemon used Dragon Claw while the Aura Pokemon utilized Aura Sphere.

"Lu!" Lucario hopped off Dragonite's back, throwing an extra-large Aura Sphere. Helping boost the velocity of Aura Sphere, Dragonite had struck it with Dragon Claw.

Aura Sphere reached an extra speed, crashing into Necrozma. While not delivering super-effective damage, the velocity and impact of Aura Sphere certainly staggered him. That allowed Dragonite to slash the Prism Pokemon with Dragon Claw.

Necrozma retaliated, using Prismatic Lasers. Out of his body, even stronger rays of light shot out from all directions. Dragonite and Lucario, being the closest, were struck by these lasers. Necrozma forced them off of him, giving the Prism Pokemon some extra space.

After blasting the two of them away, Necrozma set his sights on the crystal. He wasted no time, zooming towards Enola and the People of the Water.

"!" Enola already made the conscious decision to run. The People of the Water, while passive, would protect one of their kind. And they did so, getting in front of Necrozma as a wall, holding their arms out.

But it was a wall for Necrozma to destroy. Necrozma prepared Dragon Pulse, ready to blow the People of the Water sky-high for that crystal.

However, while they couldn't fight back due to their passive nature, there were those who could fight for them and protect them. One of those being Gardevoir.

Once Dragon Pulse came out, getting the way as the biggest wall was Gardevoir. Her immunity to Dragon allowed her to take the attack and feel absolutely nothing from it. She had successfully protected them as the smoke cleared revealing her face to Necrozma.

"I still have no idea what is going on exactly. But what I do know is that you are somehow responsible for this." She said to her fellow Psychic-Type. Necrozma could only hiss at her.

The Prism Pokemon had no time for his as he had used Prismatic Lasers once more, shooting them everywhere as everyone ducked for cover, but Gardevoir had a response to this.

The Embrace Pokemon had used Dazzling Gleam, mimicking Necrozma's Prismatic Lasers. Countering these light lasers were rays of rainbows that also flew in multiple directions. They clashed against each other, just metres away from harming the innocents.

Necrozma could not move afterwards after using this move, leaving him vulnerable. Gardevoir took advantage of this, using Dazzling Gleam once more.

The rainbow rays pelted Necrozma repeatedly, pushing the Prism Pokemon away and into a wall. Thanks to this distraction, Enola had gotten far with the crystal, keeping it away from Necrozma.

"Pika? Pika-Pikachu!" Pikachu, after jumping through the hole, recognized the familiar Gardevoir up ahead. At least, her scent. He recognized her as Passion's mother. Every other Pokemon flew through after following the trail of destruction that Necrozma had made.

"Hm? Pikachu?" Gardevoir turned to the Mouse Pokemon.

"Pikachu!"

"It's good to know that you're doing well. And Ash?"

"P-Pika...Pikapi..." Pikachu lowered his ears after that response. He was still waiting for Ash to return along with the rest of Ash's friends.

"Oh, right. I-I'm sorry." Gardevoir kneeled, patting Pikachu on the head. "But I hear that these people have the power to bring him back."

"We do. And he should be here..." The caretaker said. "Hopefully he heard our song."

"Mana-Mana..."

"What about Necrozma?" Darkrai asked, looking at the rubble that Necrozma was buried under. The rubble had been broken apart with Necrozma rising out of it.

This was a very resilient Pokemon. Perhaps too resilient. Everyone stayed on guard and cautious, waiting for Necrozma's next action. Necrozma was furious. But also happy.

Happy that he had gotten an amazing fill of light energy from the crystals and a new form of energy that was just stellar. But also furious since the opposing Pokemon were enough to get in this way and take that chance away. Necrozma wanted nothing more than to destroy them all.

That is until a gateway opened. Right behind Necrozma as all attention was drawn to it. Emerging out of the gateway, or at least poking her head through it was Daybreaker. She did say she would return.

"C-Celestia...?" Gardevoir said, noticing Daybreaker's appearance and how it matched Celestia's with some fiery appearances.

"Alright, Necrozma. I think that might do for now." Daybreaker spoke. "Did you get a nice fill of those crystals?" In response, Necrozma let out a cry instead of nodding its head. Then again, it was difficult for him to do so considering how he was built. "Good. I can tell. You look healthier than you were when I first met you. I think we're about done here."

Daybreaker called this whole thing to a close as she heard the rumbling of the energy creature. She didn't want to stick around and find out. "I seem to have lost my Ultra Ball amidst the chaos so we'll have to get you a new one."

"Pikachu!" But Pikachu wouldn't allow Daybreaker to escape as he had used Quick Attack.

"Back off!" In response, Daybreaker had breathed out fire. The fire struck the floor before transforming into a gigantic firewall. Pikachu came to a screeching halt, stopping the motion of Quick Attack. His nose had almost connected with the flames.

The view of Necrozma could barely be seen as these aggressive flames even overpowered the chill of the night and the water itself. Necrozma had no Poke Ball to return to. So it was straight through the gateway instead. Necrozma was fairly satisfied with what he had gained.

Granted, he wanted more. Especially from every last crystal. But he had already received an amazing fill and gained high amounts of light power that flow throughout the planet. The gateway closed with the wall of fire fizzling out.

In the end, despite everything that had happened, Daybreaker had won.

She had set out to do what she planned to do in this endeavour. Allow Necrozma to absorb some of the highest amounts of light energy that could be found in the Sea Temple. And it went beyond that even. The Dragon Force was taken as well.

However, it wasn't over yet. The Dragon Force manifestation that resembled Necrozma was still running amok, rampaging throughout the temple as Lilycove was still in danger.

Shining Armor and his group found it difficult to combat against a force that could destroy anything but they were doing their best. The Dragon Force then gained another Necrozma face that appeared elsewhere. Despite Necrozma leaving, his influence remained.

Enola had the crystal still, hoping that no one would find her with it. The threat of Team Plasma was still around as well and Colress, while not as greedy as Necrozma, wanted some of the power as well.

Everyone watched as the Dragon Force's massive claws were ready to slam down on the temple from a wide radius. It had grown large enough to overshadow Lilycove City and parts of the sea. Pikachu covered himself in an aura of electricity as every other Pokemon readied to combat this destructive force.

Then suddenly, a ray of light shot through the atmosphere at amazing speeds, passing by everyone in a flash. And in that split-second, this ray of light had pierced through the Dragon Force. Not only did it pierce through but a blue flash of light had expanded, filling the sky. For a moment, it looked like it was the day.

The Dragon Force let out a piercing howl as a hole had been left in it. Everyone looked around to see who had shot that ray of light. But none of them did. No one had used an attack yet. But once they looked up, they saw where the beam went. Right above the Dragon Force was a familiar face.

"Pika..." Pikachu's eyes were starstruck as he recognized this scent and this face as well. His best friend had returned to him with an amazing display. "Pikapi!"

"Your majesty!" The People of the Water bellowed with joy filling their hearts and faces. Enola from afar also had the same expression as she knew that Ash would show up. There was always hope for idols.

Ash didn't come alone, however. Due to the song of the sea and him being the King of the Sea, many Water-Type Pokemon followed his lead. They all swam towards Lilycove City in massive schools, larger than what they are used to.

The residents of Lilycove watched as many Water-Types came this way under Ash's rule. The moon illuminated them all including Ash's light. Among these Pokemon was Kyogre. The creator of the seas.

It had helped Ash before during the previous event with the Sea Temple and it will surely help him again.

"H-How'd he get that Aura?!" Adagio gasped.

"Whoever so holds this crown, shall be named King of the Sea." said the old man. "Behold the Sea Crown. The touchstone between us and the Water Pokemon. And our king."

"Thanks for the save guys!" Ash gave a thumbs-up, thanking the people and Manaphy. "Boy, that was close!" He chuckled before hearing the Dragon Force roar. "But anyway, it's a good time to put an end to this." He faced the Dragon Force with more Water-Types coming this way.

With Ash returning as the king, the Dragon Force still rampaging, Team Plasma still lurking and the Sunstorm approaching to come for Tempest Shadow, the penultimate confrontation was closing in as the journey continues.
