Sea Cloud

Equestria. Ponyville. Day.

"Ooh. You're lending us some Shift Stones?" Starlight said as Trixie was currently visiting Ponyville.

"Just a gift of thanks. That's all." Trixie said. "Besides, these can be useful for when they really count, right?"

"Guess so. Don't you think so, Twilight?" Starlight turned to Twilight.

"Well...They could be of some use. I mean, they are Rift related right?" Twilight responded.

"Oh, they sure are." Cold Colt put his hoof on one of the stones, feeling the familiar cosmic energy flow through him. It tickled him a bit as he giggled. "I'll take one."

"You should come over and see my show at my school. M-My students actually. I won't be performing. Apparently, the teachers and principal aren't allowed to perform or whatever." Trixie scoffed as her love for performing had been robbed due to school laws.

"Well, thank you, Trixie." Starlight took a Shift Stone from her friend. "We'll use these right. For uh..whatever reason we may have."

"Mhm." Cold twirled his stone around with his magic as it had reacted to his magic since they both share a similar origin. "Applejack might like this, don't ya think?"

"Well...Maybe not now. Since..." Twilight scrunched her face as she pointed her hoof to the side. Right near were the two ponies, Applejack and Rarity. And currently, they were both shaking uncontrollably with petrified looks on their faces. And it was for one reason.

Their sisters.

Impatient and worried about them being in the Pokemon World, Applejack and Rarity immediately took out their Xtransceivers to see how their little sisters were.

"PleasebeokayPleasebeokayPleasebeokay!" Applejack rapidly said as she was aggressively tapping on the Xtransceiver, not having any focus due to how worried she was.

"What if she got herself involved with the wrong company?!" Rarity also started aggressively tapping on the device whilst thinking of situations her little sister could've ended up in.

In her mind, she imagined Sweetie Belle joining a gang, wearing all black clothing. A delinquent or hooligan is one of the worst-case scenarios that Rarity could think of.

After almost breaking their Xtransceiver screens and buttons, they managed to call their little sisters, waiting for a response from them. The devices rang as the two sisters bit their hooves in anticipation. It rang for 15 seconds as their hearts were racing uncontrollably.

Eventually, they had answered. Rarity and Applejack collectively sighed. Their sisters were fine, but they did have tired eyes since it was early in the morning.

"Never mind. They'll be fine now." Twilight nodded.

"Well, I'll be taking my leave now," Trixie said. "Come along Misdreavus. I'm looking to evolve you soon. Where's that Evolution Valley place?"

"Just to the North East." Starlight answered.

"Got it. Mismagius here I come~!" Trixie whistled as she and Misdreavus went on their merry way.

"Misdrea!

In the meantime, Rarity and Applejack were having a conversation with their two sisters, asking if they were okay and how things have gone so far. And one of the answers they gave out was surprising.

"Unown?" Applejack said.

"Mhm!" Apple Bloom nodded. "They're like these alphabet Pokemon and some other symbols and they do a lot of weird stuff."

"Yeah! And they used to be the arms of Arceus that made the whole Pokemon World!" Sweetie Belle said from the other side of the screen. There was no point in having two calls on since the two foals were in the same area with each other.

"Arceus? Really?" Rarity replied.

"Eeyup! And then they took us to an illusion world!" Apple Bloom exclaimed. "Then we got to fight a giant fake Ms Cheerilee in an amusement park and in a power plant too!"

"You WHAT?!" Applejack bellowed.

"We're close to Ninja Village soon! Someone named Clemont and his sister Bonnie are leading us there. Right now we're in Anistar City! Can't wait to head back and show you some sweet ninja tricks!" Sweetie Belle cheered with Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon in the background.

"Ninja!" The three of them cried out.

"Oh, gotta go now! We'll bring you back some souvenirs!" said Apple Bloom as she and everyone waved goodbye to them on the screen. Including Clemont and Bonnie.

"Wait! Apple Bloom! Who are those two?!" Applejack shuddered, asking questions as fast as she could.

"No need to worry!" Apple Bloom said her last words before ending the call. And Sweetie Belle as well. The two sisters let out one final sigh, worrying about their younger siblings as they groaned, raising their heads to the sky.

"Come on you two." Just then, along came Twilight, standing between them with a beaming smile. "Your sisters are gonna be fine. And if something goes wrong, Absol will be the first to notice. Right, Absol?"

"Sol."

"You're right. Should've gone along with 'em though..." Applejack grumbled. "I don't know what these Unown are but they don't sound too good if they can cause illusions like that."

"Oh, the Unown?" Twilight used her magic to bring a book from her lab here, showing it to Applejack and Rarity. She then opened the book, revealing the page of the Unown and what they are said to be. "They're just the seemingly metaphorical or possibly literal 1000 arms of Arceus. And if that's the case, they've got a lot of power behind them. Especially if multiple of them are together."

"That doesn't make it any better darling..." Rarity gulped as Twilight squeed, apologizing.

"Right, sorry."

Out in the mountains of Equestria.

Ever since the clock-shaped door had been spotted by that one single pegasus doing his job like normal, it's been theorized that it could've been the land from foals tales and myths. A place called Pegalysium. But, it's considered a myth and a foal's tale for a reason. It's only been said in stories. No one in the current day has witnessed it. Even those from the past are clueless about this.

Celestia had sent some lookout in the skies to see if they could spot this clock-shaped door once more. And if they can, there's a chance that Pegalysium truly does exist. Celestia herself was standing out in the mountains with Passion and Arcanine while Luna was by her side.

While Celestia was looking up at the sky, Luna was currently in the midst of a Pokemon Battle, attempting to catch herself a Manectric and add it to her team.

"Manectric!" The Discharge Pokemon ran at Luna with Wild Charge, moving at the speed of a lightning bolt too, zigzagging around.

"Here it comes, Aurorus! Use Earth Power as a shield!"

"Auro!" The Tundra Pokemon stomped her feet on the ground before summoning giant mounds of stone. After erupting from the ground, the mounds had surrounded Aurorus, acting as a shield for her.

ManeCtric ended up crashing into the giant rock mounds, taking super-effective damage in the process too from the orange energy that they emanated. "Mane! The Discharge Pokemon cried out as it lost its footing.

"Now, Aurora Beam!"

"Rorus!" Aurorus unleashed a rainbow-coloured beam that broke through the mounds by opening her mouth, appearing before Manectric. The Electric-Type had been engulfed by this multi-coloured beam before being blown back afterwards.

"Hm...Nothing yet." In the meanwhile, Celestia was still looking up at the sky for Pegalysium. "Perhaps that might be the way to go beyond the clouds..."

She said this while Luna was having a battle against Manectric. Sparks of electricity were flying about along with chunks of rocks and ice. Each of them had missed Celestia and had struck the mountains instead.

"Aurorus!" Aurorus slid on the ground after receiving a Psychic Fangs from Manectric.

"Let us finish this! Outrage!"

"Auro...Rus!" Aurorus' body started giving off a red aura as her eyes flashed red as well. Manectric charged in with another Wild Charge, this time moving faster than before.

The Discharge Pokemon smashed into Aurorus head-on with a burst of electricity sparking out. Aurorus closed her eyes as her body was twitching with electricity surrounding it. Manectric received recoil damage from the impact. However, Aurorus took the attack like a champ as she let out a grin.

"Mane?!"

"Rus!" After being struck by Wild Charge, Aurorus let Manetric have it as she used the full force of Outrage on the Discharge Pokemon, smashing her hoof onto its back.

One smash and Manectric was sent to the ground, causing a large dust cloud. The Discharge Pokemon could then be seen tumbling out of the smoke cloud after Aurorus' Outrage.

"Now's my chance! Go, Great Ball!" Seeing an opportunity, Luna used her magic to take out a Great Ball from her saddlebag. She then launched the ball towards Manectric as the Great Ball made contact. It then pulled the Electric-Type in with a red light before landing on the ground. Now the shaking could begin.

1...2...3...Gotcha! Manectric was caught.

"Huzzah! Excellent work Aurorus! Now we have a Manectric on our side!" Luna cheered whilst flying up with excitement and victory in her heart.

"Aurorus!"

Luna retrieved the Great Ball from afar with her magic, looking at it. She then turned to face her big sister who was still locking her eyes onto the sky. Passion was sitting a small rocky step, rocking about and thinking of a catchy tune whilst Arcanine was too busy dozing off. A Butterfree landed on Arcanine's nose without him noticing. Not even the battle that Luna just had was enough to wake him up.

"Well, sister." Luna flew over. "Have you figured out how we are supposedly going to go beyond the normal skies and clouds? Nopony has accomplished such a feat before. Even when I was sent to the moon, it was out of my control."

"Oh, I've found a way alright." Celestia nodded. "Maybe we can't pass through with how we are now. However, perhaps we can in the form of Celestial-Gardevoir?"

"That form? Oh..." Luna thought for a moment. "It is incredibly powerful yes. Perhaps that actually can break through the natural sky level."

"If Passion and I end up spotting Pegalysium itself up there, then we won't engage with it. It will just be confirmation that it exists."

"That's it?" The Moon Princes squinted her eyes. "Just confirming that it exists? Sister. Don't you want to get into the adventuring spirit and see what this entire land in the sky has to offer? What the pegasi are like up there and such?"

"Is Ash's adventurous spirit rubbing off on you?" Celestia said whilst Luna nudged her.

"Perhaps."

"If there's a chance I see it, I can't be too sure if the pegasi living there are friend or foe. If they've distanced themselves from Equestria entirely, they must not see us as 'wanted company'. Or even meddling and coming across a land and nation they built away from everypony else. And if that's their decision, then so be it. Passion."

"Garde?" The Embrace Pokemon blinked, looking over at her best friend.

"It's time. Let's become one and ascend through those skies." Celestia said with a nod.

"Gardevoir." Passion nodded back as she levitated off the step before landing next to Celestia. The Sun Princess then took out her Mega Stone from her flowing ethereal mane, ready to transcend evolution.

The Keystone responded to her heart as a dazzling golden light flew out, surrounding Passion. Red lights also emerged, connecting with the golden lights as Celestia's own body started glowing. The Sun Princess and Embrace Pokemon both closed their eyes as they were merging as one.

With a burst of golden and red lights engulfing them both, Celestia and Passion had become one being. Within the golden light that covered them, purple eyes flashed as the Mega Evolution Symbol could be seen. Afterwards, the Embrace Pokemon spread her arms out as Celestial-Gardevoir had emerged.

"My that's bright." Luna squinted her eyes after the transformation.

"Alright. Here goes." Celestial-Gardevoir looked up at the sky. She didn't know how high she could go in this state, but she had to try. Both the Celestia and Passion within were ready. Luna backed away, knowing that the take-off would be fairly impactful. Standing close would be a bad idea.

After having enough time to breathe and concentrate her energy, Celestial-Gardevoir took off, moving off the ground like a rocket. And as to be expected, a shockwave emerged, trembling the ground as Luna's mane started flowing. Arcanine still didn't wake up even after that loud sound.

Celestial-Gardevoir had broken the sound barrier, forming a sonic boom in just 4 seconds as she was certainly reaching Mac speeds. She passed by some Flying-Type Pokemon, startling them as it felt like a tornado had just passed them.

In just a few seconds, Celestial-Gardevoir had passed through most of the clouds, reaching a height where not even her sister could see her. However, the higher she went up, the colder her body was starting to feel. Celestial-Gardevoir squinted as she pursued her goal of passing through the higher clouds and larger skies.

After having a second burst of energy, she formed another sonic boom as she had accomplished her goal. Celestial-Gardevoir was now at the highest point of the sky. She figured that now would be the best time to stop. She was high enough.

"Oh...What a rush..."Celestial-Gardevoir huffed and puffed as this was the highest either Celestia or Passion have ever been. She looked below, seeing how everything beneath her was covered in clouds. Almost as if the clouds were the ground. Seeing it made Celestia's side twitch a bit. "Oh right...I remember when I was afraid of heights at a young age. This is higher than I've ever been. But I can't let childhood fears ruin it for me."

Now that she was up here, it was time to get searching. Obviously staying in one place wouldn't do it. Flying around is the way to go. So that's what she did. Celestial-Gardevoir started flying through the skies at a gentle pace, moving through azure skies and navigating her head around.

If she can even find a semblance of this place, that would be enough. But, Luna's words affected her a bit. Celestial-Gardevoir wondered what a land like that was like. A whole nation in the sky was something to really think about. She also wondered what the pegasi looked like.

Would they be the same height as an alicorn but with wings? Could they have harnessed their own magic after so many centuries of living away from Equestria? And have they possibly even encountered Pokemon? Reshiram and Zekrom during the invasion were essentially battling almost everywhere in this world. The chances of them coming across Pegalysium isn't too farfetched. Celestial-Gardevoir was going to make this quick. One look and confirmation and she'll be on her way.

Eventually, after flying for a period of time, roughly 3 minutes, Celestial-Gardevoir noticed something in the distance. Something that had most certainly caught her eye. What she seemed to be just another bunch of clouds, nothing out of the ordinary.

At least, that was what she believed at first. They were indeed clouds, that was for sure. But the way they were positioned and appeared was too bizarre for the eyes. Celestial-Gardevoir narrowed her eyes, trying to get a better view. The Celestia side of her had cast a spell, allowing her to gain advanced vision as if her eyes were now goggles.

And once she gained the advanced vision, she saw what the clouds truly looked like. With a silent and contained gasped Celestial-Gardevoir had witnessed clouds in the form of seas.

"Is that...a sea in the clouds?" Celestial-Gardevoir said under her breath before taking a closer look. "No...the clouds are the sea! Am I seeing this right?" Celestial-Gardevoir wasn't sure what she was looking at. Either way, those clouds looked like -an entire sea or ocean.

She took a moment to really grasp the scenario before her. Celestial-Gardevoir flew closer to get a better look. And the closer she went, the more she could hear a sound that was new to her ears. Never has this sound even crossed her mind before.

The clouds were making their own sounds that a sea would when flowing. The sound was hard to make out. It sounded like candy being flossed but also mimicked the sound of something frothing. Like foamy soap in a bath.

Everything about this was so surreal to her. How a sea cloud was even possible was just a mystery that needed to be solved on its own. Celestial-Gardevoir assumed that magic was behind something like this and that wasn't too hard to believe. After all, all ponies need magic.

Celestial-Gardevoir was close enough to this cloud ocean as she stopped flying, now just hovering in place. She saw how the clouds flowed like the sea, moving at a gentle pace. These cloud waves seemed to have nothing inside of them. Celestial-Gardevoir wasn't expecting to see fish within this sea cloud. Although, that would be fairly impressive. And her curiosity was getting the better of her.

Celestial-Gardevoir decided to try something out. If this was similar to the natural sea, then surely it would feel the same or even different. With her curiosity taking over, the fused entity moved her hand towards the assortment of clouds. Once doing so, she had come in contact with the sea cloud, placing her hand inside.

And the feeling was definitely familiar. In fact, it felt a lot like actual water. Celestial-Gardevoir moved her hand across the clouds with her eyes widened. She was enchanted by how familiar this all felt. But even though it felt like ordinary water, it had a soft and fluffy feeling to it, making it distinct from actual water.

"Amazing..." Celestial-Gardevoir uttered. She then moved her hand out of the cloud as she noticed that it was now wet. It even made things wet like water. Now she was definitely beyond intrigued. Her first time being up here and already, she's experiencing new scenarios.

A smile graced her face as she was finding some enjoyment out of this. And with that enjoyment, Celestia's adventurous side started showing itself. She figured that there was no harm in experiencing this sea cloud fully.

So, with a willing heart and spirit from both Celestia and Passion, the merged Alicorn-Pokemon hybrid decided to personally surf on the sea cloud.

She did this by adding magic to her legs and allowing them to act as a surfboard. After doing so, Celestial-Gardevoir landed her magic-coated feet on the clouds, allowing the fun to ensue. She started surfing on clouds of all things. An experience she never thought she would ever have the chance to take part in.

"Woohoo!" With excitement filling her heart, she moved across the clouds, performing some tricks along the way. She spun around in the air like a ballerina, most likely the Passion side leaking out.

She caused cloud waves to form from her movements as she was almost forgetting about the main reason why she even came here. But, this was an equally interesting discovery as Pegalysium. She giggled, having a blast and performing more tricks while surfing.

The more she surfed, the further she went in this vast sea ocean. She then laid her back on the sea cloud, covering her back part in magic as she moved along it. It felt even better when laying on it. Afterwards, Celestial-Gardevoir then jumped back up, spinning around as she eventually slowed down.

She was now just surfing regularly on the sea cloud. As fun as it would be to continue going wild on something like this, she had a set goal. But, taking her time wasn't a bad idea either before she can find Pegalysium.

She gently moved across the sea cloud for a few minutes, unbothered by anything. The only thing here was the golden sun beaming down on her and through the clouds too. At least, it would be like that for a while.

Until a new sound reached her ears. Celestial-Gardevoir took notice of this sound. It didn't sound like the cloud waves she was currently moving on. However, a bit of those cloud waves was involved. But that wasn't the primary sound. It was something else.

To Celestial-Gardevoir, it sounded like something else was moving along the waves. Not just her. She wanted to see what was causing that noise. That could mean that something else was up here. Perhaps it was Pegalysium.

However, as she advanced closer to the sound by increasing her flying speed, she came across two things. One was surprising and the other was beyond that. After speeding up, she slowed down with her mouth opening, her eyes widened and her curiosity rising.

She had come across land and a cloud waterfall. An entire land was within these high skies. Not only that, but it was just as wide as any land would be. The appearance matched that of a rainforest as the cloud waterfall flowed beautifully. Flowers of various kinds filled this land as some were new to Celestial-Gardevoir's eyes. But that wasn't what really caught her attention.

There was a ship docked here.

"A ship...?" Celestial-Gardevoir gasped silently. Finding this ship was a breakthrough. That meant only one thing. Someone else was here.

Kalos Region. Out in the wilds. Afternoon.

After spending some time in Anistar City, Clemont and the others were finally making their way towards Ninja Village. And thanks to Clemont and Bonnie being there before, they knew the way, making the trip less taxing. Sweetie Belle wanted to get to her contest on time after all.

"Alright. There it is." Clemont said as everyone stopped walking. He pointed up ahead, showing a cave surrounded by trees. Afterwards, they continued walking, heading straight for that cave. The anticipation for the five fillies was growing as they couldn't wait to see this place for themselves.

After entering the cave, they came across what seemed to be a dead-end with a giant wall of stone blocking them from going any further. But the fillies were ready for this.

"Oh! I know how to do this! Ash told me how!" Instead of having Clemont do it, Silver Spoon chose to do it herself. She was going to use the password to try and enter.

After galloping past everyone, the young filly adjusted her glasses, looking at the giant stone wall as she held her breath in. Silver Spoon then knocked her hoof on the wall two times as a voice responded to her.

"Mountain."

"River." Silver Spoon replied.

And with that reply, the stone wall started moving, revealing itself to be a passageway. The other fillies watched in amazement as standing right in front of them were two individuals who were bodyguards.

Ninjas.

"Oh. There's a familiar face." One of the ninjas spoke, noticing Clemont and Bonnie.

"Hello!" Bonnie waved at them both.

"Cool! Actual ninjas!" The CMC lit their eyes up with stars and wide grins.

"You two are welcome here after your help last time. And your friends too." The other ninja spoke.

"Thank you." Clemont nodded. "Come on you five. You're going to love this. This whole village is nestled in a caldera, making it extra secret and hard to find."

Clemont and Bonnie toured the five fillies through the cave, ready to show them the true appearance of Ninja Village. Luckily, it wasn't that long of a walk, just 10 seconds total. But when those 10 seconds were up, they finally came across it as the sun beamed down on them.

Ninja Village is now within their sights.

"Oooh!" The foals all gawked as they were finally here.

Now finally at Ninja Village, their true fun was about to begin. All the while, Celestial-Gardevoir had made her own amazing discovery in the form of a sea cloud and sky land. The bigger mystery was the ship she had found just docked by that rainforest as the journey continues.
