The Ferocious Druddigon

Dragonspiral Tower. The first floor. Afternoon.

Right now, Spike's dragon quest continues. His main goal is to head to the Village of Dragons, located near Opelucid City and see where he goes from there. But before that, he's aiming to catch himself his newest Dragon Pokemon teammate in the form of Druddigon.

However, a Mienshao has decided to test Spike and his Haxorus before that. By beating Mienshao, only then will they be able to reach Druddigon as the two were ready to battle with the Golurk, other Mienshao and Druddigon spectating.

"Mien!" Mienshao made the first move as it jumped into the air, going for a High Jump Kick with its knee glowing.

"Here it comes! Haxorus! Dragon Claw!"

"Xo!" Haxorus roared as his hands became covered in a light green, claw-shaped draconic energy. He then swiped his claws upwards, clashing with Mienshao's glowing knee. Upon clashing with each other, the two Pokemon immediately separated by being pushed back from their own attacks.

"Shao!" Mienshao, after recovering on the ground with an elegant spin, moved in for another attack. This time it was Close Combat.

"Use Close Combat!" Spike punched the air a few times.

"Haxo!" Haxorus would also end up using Close Combat as he ran towards Mienshao. The two of them entered their second clash, this time with Haxorus' fist meeting Mienshao's arms.

They looked each other in the eye for a bite while pressing their arms onto each other before Mienshao jumped over Haxorus with a swift front flip. Haxorus looked up as Mienshao stomped its face onto the Axe Jaw Pokemon's head.

"Xo!"

"Mienshao!" After doing that, Mienshao landed behind Haxorus, following up its attack by using the long fur on its arms like whips, repeatedly hitting the Dragon-Type in the back with a series of chops and even kicks too fast for the normal eye to see. Sparks were even flying out from Mienshao's hits. "Shao! Shao!"

"H-Haxo!" Haxorus winced as his back was being punished by what could be the hardest physical hits he has taken so far. But, not wanting to be outdone, while Mienshao kept striking his back, Haxorus sneakily used his tail to grab Mienshao's arms, wrapping it around the Martial Arts Pokemon.

"Mien?!"

"Haxo!" Haxorus then swung Mienshao around for a bit, hitting the Fighting-Type onto one of the columns of pillars here, breaking it in the process as Haxorus then tossed Mienshao by letting go of it with his tail.

"Shao!" Mienshao definitely felt that as the Close Combat clash ended. But, as always, Mienshao's elegant and amazing agility allowed it to recover by sticking its feet onto the wall.

Afterwards, the Martial Arts Pokemon dashed off the wall like a rocket, going for its next attack. Poison Jab. The fur on its arms had been lit up with poisonous purple energy as it closed in on Haxorus.

"Again! Close Combat!"

"Haxorus!" Haxorus went for his second Close Combat. By roaring at Mienshao, the Axe Jaw Pokemon swung both his hands that were joined together, sending it in a sweeping downward motion. Like a sledgehammer.

"Shao!" Mienshao was able to counteract this by putting its arms together in an X-shape, lifting them and blocking Haxorus' downward hit. Like an anvil being hit by a hammer. The floor below trembled from the impact.

"Haxo...!" Haxorus growled, trying to push through and send Mienshao straight through the floors of this tower.

"Mienshao!" Mienshao broke the struggle by pushing Haxorus' hands back and running to the side. It continued to use Poison Jab, however. After breaking the clash up and getting some distance, the Martial Arts Pokemon jumped into the air, performing a somersault.

By entering this somersault and doing a few tricks midair, Mienshao then also tried the sledgehammer approach that Haxorus did. This time with Poison Jab.

"Hit the floor!"

"Xorus!" Haxorus then suddenly used Close Combat again, but this time from below. By striking the floor, Haxorus caused a large dust cloud to form, covering the area around him and Mienshao. Not only that but large pieces of the floor came flying out.

"Now use your tail to hit them!"

"Haxo!" Haxorus then used his large tail to hit the large concrete that came from the destroyed floor, sending them through the smoke and straight for Mienshao.

"Mien?!" Mienshao gasped after seeing the smoke cloud and the sudden appearance of large floor rubble coming towards it. Acting quick, the Martial Arts Pokemon instead used Poison Jab on the rocks, destroying them. The smoke was even cleared by it.

"Go! Giga Impact!"

"Haxorus!" Haxorus then stomped onto the ground with ferocity before flying into the air as his body became surrounded by spiralling orange streaks. It was even destroying the rocks it had sent by charging through the. Then, a purple energy sphere surrounded Haxorus' body as he smashed into the Martial Arts Pokemon with great force before it could fight back.

"S-Shao!" Mienshao's eyes widened as it was hit directly with a heavy and hard Giga Impact. The Fighting-Type was then launched like a rocket, flying through ten pillars, breaking them into tiny pieces before coming to a stop at the nearest wall. Mienshao crashed into the wall, leaving a large crack as Haxorus landed on the ground, exhausted after using Giga Impact.

"H-Haxo...!"

"M-Mienshao..." And with an impact that powerful as well as such velocity and force, Mienshao's defence wasn't enough to match that strength as it had fainted, falling from the wall and hitting the floor afterwards.

"Yes! We win!" Spike jumped up with joy and victory.

"Haxorus!" Haxorus roared with victory by raising his arms. The Golurk all clapped their hands, congratulating Spike and Axew while the rest of the Mienshao took a bow, respecting them both.

"Mien..." Mienshao stood up, holding its head while also walking towards Spike and Axew for their victory. They had indeed given it a worthy battle. The Martial Arts Pokemon then gave a bow of respect, accepting its defeat and congratulating the duo.

"Thanks, Mienshao."

"Haxorus."

And Druddigon?" Spike peered his head over, looking at the Cave Pokemon. Druddigon had seen the entire battle and was fairly impressed by what it had witnessed. It gave a nod of respect.

So, the Cave Pokemon gave a hand gesture with its claws. One that encouraged Spike and Haxorus to follow it as Druddigon began walking up the stairs to the second floor.

"Oh, wait for us!" Spike called out as he ran for Druddigon. Haxorus quickly deformed into a Unovan Axew as he followed his trainer.

"Axew!"

"Wait!" Spike and Axew hopped over the rubble caused by their battle against Mienshao. Druddigon had already reached the second floor while Spike and Axew were just now running up the stairs.

The Cave Pokemon looked down at the two as it pointed upwards of the castle, shooting right at the very top and showing Spike and Axew what it was actually up to. They followed the claw of Druddigon and how it was aiming for the top. Spike quickly deduced what Druddigon was trying to say.

"Oh...you want us to face you at the very top of the tower?"

"Drudd." The Cave Pokemon nodded as it kept walking.

"Okay! That sounds like a safe bet deal to me! We'll be right up there with Salamence and-" Spike was ready to take out his Poke Ball to send Salamence out, but Druddigon quickly put its hand out, shaking its head as it denied any use of Salamence to the top. It wanted Spike and Axew to take their time. "Huh? Seriously?"

"Ddigon."

"Fine. No flying up there." Spike put the Poke Ball away. "Let's go, Axew!" Spike advanced with his partner.

"Axew!"

The second floor was a bit more identical to the first floor but without the sparkling pool nearby to the side. Druddigon had already reached the third floor due it knowing its place around here. Spike and Axew moved past the rubble and more Golurk that could be see residing here.

Afterwards, once getting past the second floor, they reached the third floor which was a massive change in scenery and a real challenge. Mostly since the floors themselves were scattered and separate instead of conjoined with each other. Some gaps led to what seemed to be a dark abyss, but really it was just the first floor. There were also these mini-stairs that could potentially help anyone reach different parts of this floor. But they were so short it was a bit risky.

"Woah!" Spike and Axew almost fell over after being in such a rush. They got a good look at the second floor and what it had in store.

"Drudd." And surprisingly but not unexpected, Druddigon was already on its way to the fourth floor, encouraging Spike and Axew to continue.

"The fourth floor already?" Spike sighed. "Okay. Those gaps look pretty easy to cross."

"Axew."

They looked over at the gaps and the mini-stair ramps that accompanied them. They could most certainly make that jump in their eyes as they were preparing for a strong leap. "One, two, three and jump!" They jumped together at the right time, moving over the mini-stairs and landing on the other side of this floor with success. "Haha! Success!"

"Xew-Xew!"

"Okay, again!" They would now continue jumping with repeated leaps over the gaps. Like a sort of Long-Jump activity seen by popular competitive sports. Considering how many tiles and gaps there were, this might take a while for them.

Equestria. Canterlot Castle. Afternoon.

Flurry Heart and the tag-along Skitty had arrived at the castle finally. After being accepted by the guards who were able to tell that it was Flurry Heart, just an aged-up version of her, she had access.

Obviously, with her appearance, she attracted so much attention from everypony living here. Mostly because she was an alicorn and the fact that the first pony they thought of when seeing her was the baby version of Flurry Heart.

Little did they know.

Flurry Heart was feeling a bit awkward from all the stares she was getting but the young alicorn could get through it as she stood before the door of the castle, taking a deep breath. The guards standing by the castle doors eventually let the alicorn princess in via validation.

"Okay...This might freak them out or they might understand..." Flurry Heart began speaking to herself while walking inside. "Oh, but they might know I'm from another universe...I could be seen as a major enemy. I could even be-"

"Skitty." Skitty ran ahead of Flurry Heart, not wanting her to worry so much. Giratina also gave out a telepathic pulse that made her calm down, reassuring the young alicorn with confidence. Giratina usually isn't a Pokemon that gives out confidence.

"Right. I'll be calm. I'm good at being calm...Sometimes." Flurry Heart gulped as she was making her way towards Celestia's throne room. If by chance, she could end up meeting with Luna or Pyrestar since they naturally walk around here.

However, due to the upcoming invasion, they'll be more occupied in one spot rather than moving around like they normally do. High alert and everything. The guards here were the first clear signs of that.

But, one individual who would run around freely in the castle, not planning for an invasion was none other than the temporary guest and the one that Celestia would be taking care of for the time being.

Premium Polish.

And alongside her Pokemon too. They've been frequently playing around in the castle for fun, doing whatever they want while under Celestia's care. And with all that running and playing around, it would only make sense for the little unicorn and her to run into the alicorn princess from another world.

"Woah!" Premium exclaimed as she came to a screeching halt the moment she ran into Flurry Heart. Her Pokemon ended up bumping into her too, causing them all to fall over. "Oough!"

"Oh! Are you all okay?!" Flurry Heart moved over to the unicorn and her Pokemon, worried about them.

"F-Fine..." Premium crawled out of the Pokemon pile as she and her teammates stood up. "Ugh...You...You're a princess."

"Sure am." Flurry Heart laughed nervously as Skitty walked up to Premium's Pokemon.

"Skitty!"

"Which princess are you?!" Premium dashed over with excitement. "I've never heard or seen you before! But you kinda look familiar..."

"Uh hehehe...about that...You see I'm-"

"Flurry Heart?" Perfect timing with a perfect response. But it didn't come from Premium's mouth. No. Instead, just up ahead, out of the doors of her own throne room, Princess Celestia was the one who said this.

And it was a Celestia that still had her royal disposition, regality, crown and status. Not what the Celestia in Flurry Heart's world has been reduced to.

"...G-Great Auntie!" A smile beamed on her face as she was happy to see her auntie again. Even if it wasn't her worlds' Celestia. Full of excitement, the young alicorn teleported away from Premium and right in front of the ruler of Equestria, giving her a sudden yet loving hug that threw Celestia off guard.

"Oh. "Celestia simply said as she was given this imminent hug. Something about it was full of happiness and sadness. But more importantly, Celestia herself was still processing an aged-up Flurry Heart within her presence.

"Wait? Flurry Heart? The baby?" Premium narrowed her eyes.

"It's been so long! I haven't seen you in decades! I've missed you so much!"

"Uh...Hold on." Celestia gently put her hoof on Flurry Heart, pushing the young alicorn back. "Are you by any chance from another universe?"

"Hm? Um, yes. I am." Flurry nodded.

"And which universe would that be?"

"Um..." Nervous and a bit intimidated, Flurry Heart couldn't help but tell the truth to Celestia. She didn't want to create any problems for her but this decision could essentially be a problem solver in its own right. "E-Empress...T-Twilight's Universe..."

"I see..." Celestia nodded. "Then, if that's the case, why have you come here?"

"I-I'm not here for anything bad!" Flurry Heart quickly spoke, ready to explain herself as best as she could. "You see...I'm here to get help. And this guy suggested I should come here." She then showed off the Ultra Ball that had Giratina in it.

Celestia, Premium and their Pokemon all leaned in at the Ultra Ball, wondering who was inside. Little did they know, a Pokemon of great importance was dwelling within.

"It was taken away from its world. I couldn't let it stay in my world since-"

"It would throw the balance off." Celestia finished Flurry Heart's sentence which threw the young alicorn off.

"Yeah...W-Wait...You know?!" Flurry Heart pulled back.

"There's another Pokemon that shouldn't be here at the moment, right over at Canterlot Garden. Reshiram. He should be in his own universe to maintain balance. And the same can be said for..." Celestia was wondering what the Pokemon inside was called.

Giratina quickly gave a telepathic pulse to Flurry Heart, revealing its name to the young alicorn.

"Its name is Giratina."

"Giratina...?" Celestia had definitely heard that name before. When doing a play at the Arceus Museum, she was dressed up as Arceus while Luna was dressed up as Giratina. It was easy to remember. "The Pokemon that governs the Distortion World?"

"Uh yeah. Whatever that is." Flurry scrunched her face. "That's why I also came here. Apparently, this world has um, Infinity Energy in it that makes it stable for Giratina to be here. If I left in my world, it would've been turned to pieces."

"I see. So Reshiram was right about Legendary Pokemon having important roles in their own worlds."

"So, I'd also like to help out if I can. Against Auntie and... you know..."

"You've never gone up against Empress Twilight before? Why is that?" Celestia asked as some not-so-pleasant and saddening memories were returning to Flurry Heart's head.

"I couldn't really. She's way too powerful. And not after what she did to mom and dad. Like everyone else who disobeyed her, she turned them both into stone right in front of my eyes. And they've been like that for decades ever since. All that magic she has and how large her empire became in such little time was just something I couldn't do much against."

"And the Crystal Empire?"

"Well, it's no longer an Empire. Now just the Crystal Kingdom." The young alicorn princess of another universe shrugged.

"Mm-mhm." Celestia nodded as she's already heard some juicy information. "Alright then. Come inside to my throne room. There's a lot we to discuss."

Unova. Dragonspiral Tower. Afternoon. The very top.

"F-Finally..."

"Axew...Xew..." Spike and Axew breathed in and out as they had finally reached the very top of the tower. The 7th floor. That was where Druddigon was waiting for them.

The other floors were a bit of a slog to get through. The third floor was still the toughest one by far but the rest were just time-consuming if anything. But it was all worth it to reach this final seventh floor.

And being here, Spike and Axew took a moment to bask at the top of the tower as they were able to get a good view of the area around them and beyond. The way the golden sun beamed across the area only helped that view.

"Woah..." After taking some time to catch his breath, Spike could see so much here from this height as he and Axew gawked at the current view. And with all this height, they were able to spot Opelucid City in the distance. "There it is! Nice! It was totally worth coming up here, right?"

"Axew!"

"Druddigon."

"Okay, Druddigon. We're here now." Spike turned to look at the Cave Pokemon. "So, you wanna see if we're worthy, right?"

"Drudd." It nodded in confirmation.

"Then, in that case, we'll beat you, show that we're worthy, head to Opelucid City and find that Village of Dragons, no problem." Spike declared. "Plus I get to use this sweet Premier Ball I just got." He showed a Premier Ball to Druddigon. "Go for it, Axew."

"Axew!" Axew nodded as he was already prepared to transform himself into Haxorus. Same golden light and everything. Once that golden light grew and was separated, Haxorus emerged. "Haxorus!"

"Okay, it's..." Spike looked over at the distance, noticing the way the sun was currently. Judging by how it was starting to move over the horizon, it was a safe bet that the day was about to end. "Pretty late. Yikes. We might have to stay at Opelucid for the night before we get to the village."

"Hax?"

"Ah, don't worry, don't worry." Spike shook his hand. "We've still got a few days to go. I'm aiming to cover this whole journey in 3 or 4 days, so let's take it easy, Haxorus."

"Xorus."

"Okay, Druddigon! We're ready!"

"Haxorus!"

"Druddigon!" Druddigon was waiting for Spike and Haxorus to get this started. This battle will take place at the top of Dragonspiral tower for all those airborne Pokemon to witness. The wind howled, ready to encourage this battle and how it will turn out. "Drudd!"

Druddigon made the first move with Metal Claw. By lighting up its sharp claws with metallic energy that flashed continuously, making them even sharper than before, the Cave Pokemon rushed at Haxorus with less than stellar speeds. Druddigon isn't exactly the fastest Dragon-Type out there.

"Dragon Claw!"

"Haxorus!" Haxorus went in for his own claw-based attack via draconic claws that formed around his arms. And once both Dragon-Types got close to each other, an immediate claw clash occurred.

The two of them stared each other in the eyes while the floor beneath them trembled, affecting the other floors of this tower. They then went back and forth, alternating their swipes, like two swords crossing. It even sounded like swords were being clanged against each other thanks to Metal Claw.

"Drudd!" Druddigon then decided to outsmart Haxorus by ducking his next Dragon Claw and going for an upwards swipe with Metal Claw. The upwards swipe hit Haxorus straight in the chin and neck, causing the Axe Jaw Pokemon's head to jerk back.

"Hax!"

"Druddigon!" Druddigon then followed up with a hard swipe to the chest, sending Haxorus back a few metres. The Cave Pokemon, showing little mercy and barely given Haxorus any time to rest, followed its attack up. This time with the move Gunk Shot.

Druddigon put its hands together as a silver light started sparkling between them. The light then turned into a black sphere outlined in purple, which Druddigon hurls at the opponent.

"Send it back with Iron Tail!"

"Xorus!" Haxorus quickly turned around as his tail glowed white, turning into iron. The Axe Jaw Pokemon then swung his tail, hitting the sphere of poison with all he had, leaving behind a white trail of energy when it was swung.

Iron Tail's Steel-Type properties allowed it to bypass the poison effect of Gunk Shot and also managed to send the attack back at Druddigon.

"Gon!" Druddigon's eyes widened as it put its large claws together, blowing Gunk Shot. After being hit by its own attack, a purple explosion of poison emerged that had the potential to poison the air itself.

"Nice!"

"Druddi!" Druddigon was fine after being hit by its own attack, successfully blocking it. It wasn't poisoned either as it blew the smoke away by swinging its claws And when it blew the smoke away, the Cave Pokemon was seen running towards Haxorus with the attack Outrage. A red aura surrounded its body as it was ready to go on a rampage. "Gon!"

"Yikes! Close Combat, go!"

"Hax!" Haxorus roared at Druddigon before bolting off the ground at impressive speeds. Haxorus certainly had the speed advantage over Druddigon, but the Cave Pokemon was impressively fast in its own right.

The two of them butted heads, causing a shockwave to form that shook the clouds and tower itself. The sound of Druddigon's rough rock-like skin and Haxorus' armoured steel-like body hitting against each other was frightening to listen to.

The two of them also locked hands, trying to push each other back. Seeing as neither of them could overpower each other as they seemed to be equal in physical strength, they both separated their locked hand clash, going for a more rampant approach.

When separating, Haxorus went in for another attack, striking his fist onto Druddigon's jaw with a heavy blow and audible sound. Druddigon's eyes widened before returning the favour via a claw swipe to the face. Druddigon was strong enough to even bypass Haxorus' sharp and sturdy tusks.

After being swiped in the face, Haxorus retaliated via a headbutt to Druddigon, giving it its own face damage in the process as the two Dragon-Type Pokemon were starting to exchanged blows now.

Once Druddigon received a headbutt, the Axe Jaw Pokemon finished using Close Combat via a repeated flurry of punches to Druddigon's face and stomach at high-speeds. "Hax! Haxo!"

"D-Druddi!" Druddigon was most certainly taking all of that punishment from Haxorus' Close Combat as the attacks kept coming every second.

"Haxorus!" Haxorus was about to end it with one final punch, but Druddigon managed to get a quick slip by biting onto Haxorus' hand.

"Druddigon!"

"Xo?!"

"Gon!" Druddigon had Haxorus in its grasp as it then smashed its foot onto the stomach of the Axe Jaw Pokemon.

"H-Hax!" Haxorus' eyes widened after being given a hard boot to the gut.

"Druddi! Druddigon!" Druddigon then kept this up by continuously kicking Haxorus in the chest while holding him with its mouth. The hits were so heavy that Haxorus was being staggered each time.

"Grab the foot, Haxorus!"

"Hax!" When Druddigon went for another kick to the stomach, Haxorus used his only free arm to grab the foot of the Cave Pokemon, preventing another staggering effect.

"Drudd?!"

"Now fly into the air with Giga Impact!"

"Haxo...!" At this point, both Haxorus and Druddigon were stuck to each other. One Dragon was biting on the others hand and the other Dragon was holding onto the opposing Dragon's leg. So, if Haxorus moves, Druddigon is coming along with him.

Haxorus jumped high into the air with Druddigon while facing towards the sky. As he does, his body became surrounded by an invisible energy. A bright flash of yellow light appears in front of his face as he then shot himself higher into the sky.

"D-Druddi?!" Druddigon was surprised by this sudden aerial approach as Haxorus broke through the clouds themselves as the only thing below him and Druddigon was the tower and Spike.

Knowing that this might be a large fall when Haxorus eventually descends, Druddigon decided to use Gunk Shot while still biting onto Haxorus' hand. By summoning a purple and black sphere, the Cave Pokemon unleashed the blast of poison from its mouth, instantly covering Haxorus' hand in it as an explosion of Poison happened around them both.

"H-Hax!" Haxorus cried out after having its hand attacked by poison. And due to this, Gunk Shot actually managed to poison the Axe Jaw Pokemon as Haxorus was now falling with Druddigon from a high place.

Spike gulped as he moved back after witnessing the two Dragons descend at a high velocity. Afterwards, Haxorus and Druddigon crashed into the floor of the tower, hitting it so hard that the lower floors were all starting to crumble and fall apart.

Afterwards, once the large smoke cloud formed, Haxorus clawed out of the smoke, still awake and conscious. And the same went for Druddigon who moved out of the smoke as well.

Unfortunately, after using Giga Impact, Haxorus needed some time to relax and breathe so that he can recharge. To make matters worse, he was also poisoned so he was taking damage over time. The same can't be said for Druddigon.

"H-Haxo...Haxorus." The Axe Jaw Pokemon breathed in and out.

"This isn't looking too good..." Spike said to himself.

However, after using Outrage and as well as Gunk Shot, Druddigon was now confused. Both Giga Impact and Outrage have their own drawbacks at the Cave Pokemon's eyes were spinning around. It still attempted to attack Haxorus with Gunk Shot.

But due to it being confused, its attack missed and only hit the sides of the tower. Holding its head, Druddigon was trying to snap out of the confusion as it was moving around haphazardly. Using Outrage already causes great confusion but falling from such a high height just made it worse.

And due to it missing Gunk Shot and wandering around, that gave Haxorus enough time to recharge his energy as he was ready for another attack.

"Alright! Let's finish this! Dragon Claw, full power!"

"H-Haxo!" Haxorus roared with vigour and ferocity even while being poisoned. With green draconic energy claws forming, the Axe Jaw Pokemon charged towards the dazed Druddigon, lunging at it.

"D-Druddi...?" Druddigon was just about to snap back to reality as it looked up, noticing that Haxorus was coming towards it. But it was too late to counter.

"Xorus!" With a mighty strike from both claws, Haxorus swiped past Druddigon, moving forward at unfathomable speeds. On contact, he appeared behind the Cave as the aftershock was a pulse of green claws that cut through Druddigon.

"Gon!" Druddigon took super-effective damage afterwards as Haxorus didn't even look back. And after taking all that damage, the Cave Pokemon reached its limit, falling to the floor.

It had fainted.

"Druddigon..."

"Alright! Total win!" Spike cheered as he ran over to Haxorus, hugging his partner on the back. "You're so amazing, Haxorus!"

"H-Haxorus." Haxorus gave a thumbs up before feeling the poison kick in again. "Xo...

"Oh, right!" Spike quickly took his bag off, digging into it to find a cure for the poison. At the same time, Druddigon got back up after that rousing battle. It still felt a bit dazed from all of that.

"Druddi."

"Here you go." Spike used a Full Restore on his partner by spraying it on him. The medicinal substances inside had not only removed the poison from his body, but it had even recovered Haxorus to full strength.

"Haxo!" The Axe Jaw Pokemon felt energized as he raised his arms.

"Gon. Druddi." Druddigon went up to Spike.

"Oh, Druddigon." Spike turned around. "How was that? Pretty great, right?"

"Druddi." Druddigon approved. After a battle that great, it had decided that Spike was indeed worthy enough to be its Pokemon Trainer as it held its hand out. Druddigon would like a change of scenery after being in this tower for so long.

But, as Spike held Druddigon's hand, although it was more along the lines of its claw, the Cave Pokemon felt drowsy as it hadn't been healed up yet. "D-Druddigon..."

"Hax." Haxorus quickly helped up his soon to be teammate, preventing Druddigon from falling.

"Uh...Let's heal you up first at Icirrus before we head to Opelucid okay? Then I'll catch you."

"Drudd.

And that was essentially the end of the Dragonspiral Tower visit. A fun experience with a new friend acquired in the process. Spike now had a clear direction and knew where to go next. Right after some healing is done.

The dragon quest is far from over as the journey continues.
