Whew. This was a doozy to write. I need some cookies after this.

Equestria, A forest near Bidoof Beach.

Fluttershy, Audino, Chikorita and her animal friends were currently heading back home after having a good time the whole through.

"I'm so sorry I lost track of time at our picnic. I didn't mean for us to get caught out here after dark. But there's really nothing to be afraid of. The forest at night is the same as the forest during the day." Fluttershy spoke as the wind howled violently through the forest. "Only... darker."

"Chiko..." Chikorita wasn't too fond of this atmosphere at all she climbed up Audino's head for safety. Another individual who wasn't a fan of this darkness at the moment was the bear known as Harry who got on the floor, cowering with his sharp teeth chattering.

"Still, maybe we should hurry back to the cottage-" Before Fluttershy could finish her sentence, Audino picked up on something with her ears.

"Dino?!" It sounded like something fast was moving around in the woods. Whatever it was, the sounds were getting closer.

"What is it, Audi? What do you hear?" Fluttershy lowered her head as all the animals hid behind her.

Audino could tell that this unidentified entity was moving in, heading for their direction. She tried to listen for where it was going to appear from but it was moving so fast that it was impossible to keep up with its sounds.

All of a sudden, eerie wails echoed throughout the forest, causing Audino and the others to face the direction of the noise. She had finally spotted the entity as all she could see were sharp magenta eyes that glowed in the dark.

"Ruuuun!" Fluttershy screamed at the top of her lungs as she chose the option to book it and get out of this forest as fast as they could.

As they were all dashing off, this entity had a dragon-like figure to it as it kept on howling. The unidentified creature flew up into the air as the clouds themselves shot out thunderbolts to really make the already eerie mood worse.

"A-A-Audino. U-Use Hyper Beam!" Fluttershy stammered.

Before Audino could take any action, this dragon-like creature let out a mighty roar whilst the thunder clapped in the sky. The force of its roar had almost pushed Audino back, nearly knocking the Hearing Pokemon off balance. Fluttershy screamed as she hid behind Audino with absolute fear injected into her eyes.

It was after that scream, the dragon-like creature revealed itself. In fact, it wasn't a dragon at all. It was just Rainbow Dash wearing a silly costume made out of tree barks, sticks and some cloud clothing as she laughed.

"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash's laughing intensified as she felt satisfied with her prank. She couldn't stop laughing as she fell on her back with the costume coming off.

Fluttershy hyperventilated as Harry held her close. She took a moment to breathe as a tear formed in her eyes. "That wasn't funny! You really scared me! I hope you're happy."

"Nope. You're too easy. You're scared of everything." Rainbow Dash stood up.

"That's not true." Fluttershy shook her head.

"Boo." But one single word from Rainbow Dash caused the shy pegasus to scream as she flew up to a tree, shaking uncontrollably.

Rainbow Dash's work was done here as Fluttershy's Pokemon and the animals were not amused whatsoever. But she certainly was.

Ponyville, day.

Over at Twilight's Pokemon Lab, Fluttershy was currently sitting near the fossil machine with her hooves crossed. All of her friends including Rainbow Dash had gathered up in that one spot since Fluttershy didn't take too kindly to what happened last night.

"I mean, how could you not appreciate that?" Rainbow Dash spoke to Fluttershy.

"Because I don't think being scared is very fun!" Fluttershy replied.

"I do!" Pinkie sat up from the floor. "Your heart gets all racy, your hooves get all tingly, your mouth gets all dry-ie! Actually, I don't like that part. But the rest is great!"

"See? Everypony likes a good prank! They're just jokes!" Rainbow Dash shrugged as she sat next to the entrance to PokePark.

"Now, Rainbow Dash, I don't think Fluttershy would have called us all here to talk about this if she thought it was funny. Everypony has things they like and things they don't," said Rarity.

"And scaring Fluttershy is just lazy." Applejack shook her head.

"Lazy?!" Rainbow Dash scoffed.

"A prank isn't very good if you're the only pony laughing." Twilight explained as she opened up the entrance to PokePark

"But what if it's really, really, really, really, really funny?" Pinkie dashed over.

"And I can do funny." Rainbow grinned.

"I know you can. I guess the trick is making sure that your idea of funny matches the pony you're pranking." Twilight walked inside of PokePark as she stepped inside of some fake quicksand that Rainbow Dash placed earlier today.

Not only that, but most of the Pokemon had been caught in this fake quicksand since it spread across the Cove Town.

"Audino..." The Audino of PokePark sighed as she just simply waited for the fake quicksand to fizzle out.

"Trubbish!" Trubbish, strangely enough, ate up the quicksand as if it was food to it. At least it helped with getting rid of the quicksand.

"Fake quicksand..." Twilight was unamused. "Because of course, that exists..."

"You like? I got it from a prank store in Castelia City. Couldn't resist getting it!" Rainbow Dash squeed.

"Otherworldly pranks are the best pranks sometimes!" Pinkie nodded.

"Got anymore from Castelia, hm?" Applejack narrowed her eyes.

"A bunch! Can't wait to use them all!" Rainbow Dash rubbed her hooves together.

"At least it's more innovative than the usual pranks. Usually, you'd end up going for the typical fake snake, tape on the kitchen sink nozzle and banana pranks." Rarity said.

"What's wrong with those?" Rainbow asked.

"They're simple and predictable." Applejack uttered.

"Predictable?!" Both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie both said.

"I'll have you know the banana trick is an oldie but a goodie! Like so." Rainbow Dash dropped a banana peel on the floor, causing Twilight's Cinccino to slip on it.

"Ccino!"

"See? It always works no matter what."

"Talk about zero effort," said Applejack.

"Honestly, Rainbow Dash, if you are not willing to put forth the extra effort required to pull a prank that everypony can enjoy, you may as well not pull one at all." Rarity waved her hoof around.

"Fine! If you ponies want effort, then that's just what you'll get." Rainbow Dash flew up as she dashed out of Twilight's lab, prepared to prove them wrong.

"I'm not sure she understood what we meant." Twilight shook her head as she used her magic to get rid of the fake quicksand as soon as possible.

Over at Rarity's Carousel Boutique, she and Sweetie Belle were almost ready for tomorrow with a few things needing to be worked by Rarity.

"I know you're excited about the Filly Guide Cookie Drive, but I still have to do a few finishing touches on your uniform." Rarity spoke to her.

The two sisters paused for a moment as they came across a tall cake that had a mannequin with the uniform on top of it. Rarity was confused whilst Sweetie Belle went up to the cake, taking a bite out of it. "Hmm. Not bad."

Rarity then found a note on the cake, using her magic to read it. It simply said four words as she read the following. "You asked for it."

"What does it mean?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Hmm. I assume this is Dash's idea of a prank, which can only mean she's rigged some kind of booby trap to your Filly Guide uniform up there. Leavanny. String Shot."

"Van." One of Rarity's Leavanny's used String Shot to latch onto the uniform, gently removing it so that she doesn't ruin the cake.

However, Rainbow Dash expected something like this to happen. So she had covered the mannequin with slime so that the uniform would end up being slimed up.

"Ew..." Sweetie Belle winced. "It's all ruined now."

"No need to worry. If Dash thinks I'm going to fall for whatever she's got in mind, she's got another thing coming. There are more uniforms where that one came from!" Rarity went over to her sewing machine, prepared to make another one.

However, once Rarity used her magic to interact with the machine, it was revealed that it wasn't a sewing machine at all. Instead, just a cake that looks like a sewing machine as it crumbled.

Sweetie Belle took a bite of the sculpted cake, finding it much better than the taller cake. "Hmm. The sewing machine cake is actually better than the cake cake."

"Rainbow Dash!" Rarity yelled as she spotted the multi-coloured-maned mare outside her window, laughing at how she had been pranked by cake and slime of all things.

"Gotcha! Ha-ha! How's that for effort?" She flew off to find her next victim to prank. Rarity watched outside as Leavanny wiped some slime off her strings whilst Sweetie Belle continued to enjoy the cake.

Sweet Apple Acres, Night.

"Grovyle..." Grovyle laid in the corner, dozing off to have a sweet and sombre sleep throughout the whole night with no interruptions whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Applejack had set up a plethora of pots, pans, bells, ropes and a mish-mash of other objects, specifically for Rainbow Dash since she was expecting her.

"What's all this, Applejack? I thought you were gonna help me get ready for the Filly Guide Cookie Drive." Apple Bloom walked in.

"Uh, yeah, sorry about that. But Rainbow Dash has been on a pranking tear, and you can never be too careful. But luckily, Cold's always awake, so it'll be smooth sailing until morning.

"Do you really think Dash is gonna try and prank you in your sleep?"

"Not if I have anythin' to say about it." Applejack turned off the lights as Apple Bloom left. "See ya in the mornin', sugarcube."

Now she was in the same state as her Grovyle. Total peace with no sounds around. Just the calming air of the night. And with Cold Colt staying up to keep watch, she could rest easy.

Fast forward to the morning and Applejack was still snug in her bed. With the sun shining over her face, the earth pony could wake up with revitalized energy.

That is, when she woke up, something was off here. The moment she opened her eyes a Mudbray was sleeping right next to her with its usual dirt all over it.

"Mudbray!"

"Huh?!" Applejack sat up from her bed. To her surprise, it wasn't the Mudbray that surprised her, but the fact that she was outside with her bed. She stood on the edge of her bed as she lost her balance, falling on the ground. "Whoa!" The ground around her was full of mud as it got all over her face.

Her Grovyle was, unfortunately, a victim of as well. He noticed that was asleep on the outside instead of inside. Confused and puzzled, Grovyle took a step forward. But that single step got mud all over his leg.

"Gro?!"

Above the skies, Rainbow Dash could be seen laughing as she dropped one of Applejack's pans from above. "Ha! Still think I'm lazy? Gotcha! Your little night watch couldn't stop me either!"

"Urgh...Cold!" Applejack turned her head to the young unicorn.

"Sorry Applejack. She was very convincing..." Cold lowered his head in shame.

"Ugh! Rainbow Dash!" Applejack bellowed.

"Mudbray!" The Donkey Pokemon jumped off the bed, slamming itself on the mud since it just loves to get dirty. Although, it also gives them better traction for running.

The mud got all over Applejack as she just simply sighed in disappointment and frustration.

---

But it didn't stop with just those two. Rainbow Dash went on a rampage, pranking not just Ponyville, but even Pallet Town. Whether it was a pony, human, Pokemon and even donkeys, she spared no one.

For Cranky she replaced his wig with a Skunktank. Once Cranky realized this the Skunk Pokemon opened its mouth, shooting Poison Gas all over the room.

"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash said outside. This wouldn't be the last time she said that.

For Spike, he had just finished sending a letter to Princess Celestia, breathing fire on it as the letter wisped off to Canterlot. There were still many more letters to send to her so he would be busy today.

But then, a second letter fell from above, hitting his head and landing on the table. Spike didn't even go for another letter himself. It just forced itself here. He was a bit confused but he decided to send this letter as well, breathing on it.

Then a third letter fell from above. So he blew on that one too. Then a fourth, a fifth and a six, and this went on until all the letters had been sent to the Princess.

And speaking of Celestia, her throne room was overflooded with thousands of letters as she, Passion and Arcanine popped their heads out of a sea of letters. And all of them she would have to read.

For Big Mac and his Machamp, it was taken a step further. The two of them were pulling a cart up the hill with little to no effort. That is until Rainbow Dash sprinkled some dust all over Machamp's face.

The dust affected the Superpower Pokemon's barely-hard-to-see nose as Machamp let out a mighty sneeze that sent him flying in the air, causing a shockwave. As for Big Mac, a large boulder was dropped on his cart, forcing him to go down the hill instead of up.

"Gotcha!"

Over at SugarCube Corner, Mr Cake was thrilled to devour a hayburger in front of him. By rubbing his hooves together, he couldn't wait much longer.

He picked up the burger, opening his mouth up to feel that nostalgic taste flow through his mouth. But once he teeth made contact, it felt like biting into a brick instead of something soft and crunchy as he held his jaw.

In fact, his hayburger actually had bricks inside of them. Much to his dismay.

"Gotcha!"

At the Ponyville Schoolhouse, Miss Cheerilee's chalkboard had been vandalized via a silly drawing of what looked to be her. This amused the students, but not her.

"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash flew off as Cheerilee chased her down.

As for the Pokemon World, she went after Cerise Labs first.

Chloe was currently feeding her Yamper some Oran berries. She placed her hand in the bowl, expecting to hold more of them for Yamper. However, they had been switched for the very spicy Tamator Berry.

Once Yamper bit onto it, it spiked up the Puppy Pokemon's face turned red as it couldn't handle the heat, shocking everything around it. That includes Chloe, who now had her school uniform ruined from the shock.

"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash said, standing outside of the lab.

And she went above and beyond for Goh.

Goh was currently making his way to Ponyville until he spotted something that caught his eye. In the distance, he saw an undiscovered figure that he's never seen before.

Obviously, he thought it was a brand new Pokemon so he rushed over to see what it could be. When he got close he saw that this "Pokemon" was covered in what looked to be pillows of all things. These pillows were rainbow coloured, however

Goh took a step forward as he grabbed the attention of this new Pokemon. He threw his Poke Ball forward, hoping to get a quick catch with it. If not, then it's a battle. The Poke Ball bounced off thanks to the pillows, hitting Goh in the face.

But in fact, it was actually an already existing Pokemon that he had seen before. Electrode. And when Electrode heard Goh's footsteps, it turned around, ready to explode.

Goh, Raboot and Sobble screamed as they made a run for it, expecting Electrode to go off. But it was actually just a dud. Electrode didn't explode whatsoever. Rainbow Dash ended up getting an Electrode from the Pokemon House.

The three of them let out sighs of relief as they were glad there was no explosion. But that really got them startled and off in a panic. Although, Sobble was the most affected as once it started crying, Goh and Raboot cried as well.

"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash said from above as she dashed off.

She had one big target that she wanted to prank. Ash and Pikachu, who were over at Bidoof Beach. She spied on them by hiding in the trees, coming up with the perfect prank for these two chuckleheads.

However, when she started crafting her idea, Gengar forced itself out of its Poke Ball with its own will. Being the master of pranks, Gengar could tell when Rainbow Dash was planning a prank.

"Gen!" Gengar let Rainbow Dash know that it wasn't going to be that easy with the Shadow Pokemon always with Ash at all times.

"Rats...I forgot about Gengar. Don't worry. I'll get you guys eventually." Rainbow Dash flew off, grinning.

Over at SugarCube Corner, Pinkie Pie closed a box of cupcakes, ready to send them off, until she came face to face with Twilight, her friends and everypony that Rainbow Dash has pranked so far. Including Goh and Chloe.

"Pinkie! We need your help." Twilight said.

"Okay! For what?" Pinkie tilted her head.

"Are you honestly going to stand there and tell us you know nothing about all the pranking Rainbow Dash has been doing?" Rarity spoke.

"Did she get you, too?" Fluttershy asked.

"Oh, yeah! Spinda, Gummy and I all at once!" Pinkie reminisced back to earlier today were Rainbow Dash pulled off a simple prank in the form of the Boo tactic.

She hung from the closet like a bat, looking right into her eyes. "Boo."

"AAGH!" Pinkie screamed, falling on her back, laughing uncontrollably. It wasn't that huge like the other pranks she pulled.

"They got me good."

"Well, she needs to stop." Applejack replied.

"Stop? But pranks are so much fun!" Pinkie raised her hooves.

"Not for everypony. And it doesn't seem like Dash is taking the time to find out who enjoys them and who doesn't. She even pranked poor little Sobble, making it cry non-stop!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Sobble..." Sobble was currently being comforted by Audino.

"But Sobble is always crying." Pinkie shrugged.

"Uh, since you and Dash share such an, uh, affinity for pranking, we thought you might be able to get her to, um, uh... quit it!" Rarity raised her voice.

Pinkie was sweating bullets. She would have to tell her friend to stop one of the many things in life that they both enjoy together. It wasn't going to be easy at all.

---

Pinkie went over to Rainbow Dash's home, ready to break the news to her. "Hey, Rainbow Dash!"

"Pinkie, hey! I actually have something totally important to tell you!" Rainbow Dash flew out of her home and towards the pink pony.

"You do? Ooh! You go first!"

"Okay, so. I'm gonna try something new this time with my pranks. And it involves both worlds!"

"Both worlds? That's pretty ambitious."

"Yeah, but the big wall in the way is Ash's Gengar. As long as it's there, it'll know when to expect a prank. Gotta find a way to work around it and I was hoping that you would help me with that."

"Oh! I guess it is gonna be super-hard since Gengar's a master prankster!" Pinkie giggled until she realized why she came here. "I-I-I mean, actually, that's what I have to talk to you about."

"Here. Have a cookie." Rainbow Dash tossed a cookie over to Pinkie Pie as if it was a dog treat.

"Ooh! Thanks!" Pinkie jumped up, taking a bite out of it.

"So, I got to thinking. If I'm gonna prank both worlds, why not just prank every single member of Ponyville and Pallet Town instead of sticking to one spot!"

"Mmm, wow! Everypony at once?! That sounds amazing!"

"Spin!" Spinda knocked Pinkie Pie on the head, snapping her out of it.

"Gah, wait! I mean, it's not." Pinkie shook her head.

"You don't even know what it is yet! Pinkie, this is gonna be the best prank ever! I special ordered these joke cookies so the colours would match my mane."

"And?"

"nd I'm gonna switch them with the Filly Guide cookies. When Scootaloo and her friends sell them, everypony in both Pallet and Ponyville is gonna get a rainbow mouth courtesy of Rainbow Dash! Ha-ha! It's gonna be so awesome!" She put a cookie inside of Pinkie's mouth as a rainbow appeared all over her.

"Uh, I don't know. I mean, it doesn't really seem all that funny." Pinkie Pie went up to a pond, looking at herself as she scrunched her face.

"What?!" Rainbow gasped.

"Maybe this is a good time to stop pranking for a while. The other ponies in town really—"

"Stop?! No way! This prank is happening, Pinkie! And it's gonna be hilarious! I was gonna ask you to deal with Gengar and swap the cookies but...guess I'll have my Pokemon do that instead. Catch ya later!" Rainbow Dash zoomed off to perform the prank.

"Gengar..." Pinkie thought for a moment until she sparked something in her mind. "GENGAR!"

20 minutes later and Rainbow Dash flew over to SugarCube Corner to have another talk with Pinkie Pie.

"Bad news Pinkie. Braviary and the others weren't up for the prank so I had to swap the cookies all by myself. Bummer. I thought they would enjoy it. Guess their sense of humour is different." Rainbow Dash spoke as she went up to Pinkie's room. "So, I still kinda need you to help me with Gengar if you can."

Once she arrived at her room, she noticed that Pinkie Pie was on her bed along with Spinda. Both of them looked relatively pale as their usual vibrant colours had been dimmed down all of a sudden.

"Uh, Pinkie?"

Pinkie Pie responded by coughing and turning around to face Rainbow Dash along with Spinda as she had also taken a bite out of the cookies. As if her face wasn't a mess already thanks to the spots, now the Spot Panda Pokemon had rainbows added into the mix.

"Spinda..." Spinda groaned.

"Wow. Your face is still pretty rainbowed."

"Yeah, I haven't really..." Pinkie coughed. "Been feeling well. And these joke cookies are the only thing that makes me feel better." She looked over at the box, noticing that she and Spinda ate every last one of them. "You don't have any more, do you?!" She suddenly grabbed Rainbow Dash.

"Uh, no. I just told you, I used them all for the prank."

"Oh." Pinkie laid back down.

"Pretty soon, the CMCs will start selling them to everypony in both towns. Ponies, humans and Pokemon will open their boxes and start eating, then all of their teeth will turn rainbow-coloured, and they'll know it was me! It's gonna be so awesome! C'mon, you don't wanna miss it!"

": Actually...I don't think I can even... stand... up..." She coughed. "Unless you've got more cookies!" Her voice suddenly became raspy.

"Aah! On second thought, maybe you better stay here and rest." Rainbow pulled back.

"Yeah. You're right. Sorry to miss out. I'm sure it's gonna be hilarious. Sorry I can't help you with the Gengar situation."

"Don't even worry about it. All I gotta do is make sure that Gengar doesn't notice the cookies are jokes."

With the CMCs, Rarity and Applejack, they had all the cookies piled up in a huge wheelbarrow. Since they also decided to give out these cookies for Pallet Town as well.

They may not have any bits, but they'll be able to give them enough Pokedollars for the upcoming Pokemon Festival and all the goodies that'll be there. The Pallet Town idea was Rainbow Dash's since she suggested them to the CMC's and they took it immediately.

They'll have the best of both worlds. Bits to help the Filly Guide community and Pokedollars for the festival.

"Alright, who's ready to sell some cookies?" Rainbow Dash flew over.

"ME!" The three of them said in unison.

"Look here, Rainbow Dash. I know you promised Scootaloo you'd help out, but I don't want none of your pranks ruinin' these fillies' night." Applejack said.

"Look, I'll be with you the whole night so you can totally keep an eye on me. I'll be keeping an eye on somepony else though." Rainbow Dash was referring to Gengar.

"Come on, Applejack! Let's get started!" Apple Bloom jumped up and down.

"Yeah! We've got a lot of ground to cover!" Scootaloo nodded.

"We wanna hit every house in Ponyville and Pallet Town!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. All three of them ran off, dragging the wheelbarrow along.

"Come on! You heard her! Every house in Ponyville!" Rainbow Dash laughed. She knew exactly what was coming their way.

And thus, the cookie-selling began.

They started at Fluttershy's Cottage and the Pokemon House first. Once they arrived, knocking on Fluttershy's door, Krookodile burst out of the cottage with Brutal Swing ready to strike.

"KROOKODILE!"

The Crusaders screamed along with Rainbow Dash, but Fluttershy and Audino calmed Krookodile down, restraining him from attacking. Fluttershy gave them a single bit whilst Krookodile glared at Rainbow Dash, making sure that there was no funny business going down.

They went on a selling spree, getting everypony to easily buy their cookies without hesitation. Some even wanted more cookies such as Spike who convinced Twilight to pay up with 6 bits instead of one.

From Cranky and Matilda's home to SugarCube Corner, Sweet Apple Acres, the Schoolhouse and so on and so forth. Eventually, they entered the Pokemon World, going straight for the Ketchum Household first.

Delia gladly took some cookies as it made her nostalgic of when she was a girl scout. She gave them 300 Pokedollars, a fairly sizable amount.

They went over to Professor Oak's Lab who gave them 500, the Xanadu Nursery run by the two employees gave 400, The Pallet Town Radio Station gave them 600 and every other house had given a total of 100 each.

All the while, Rainbow Dash laughing whilst the cookies were decreasing in number as the day was slowly coming to an end. She couldn't wait for everyone to find themselves full of rainbows on their mouth's.

And the best part, Gengar was nowhere to be found. So she believed the prank would happen without any interruptions. They had covered every part of Ponyville and Pallet Town so they didn't need to give out any more cookies as there were a few left in the wheelbarrow.

"I think you three should be real proud. Y'all did a mighty impressive job for your first go-'round." Applejack patted her little sister on the head.

"You took the words right out of my mouth, Applejack." Rarity nodded. "Isn't that right, Rainbow Dash?"

"Any minute now." Rainbow Dash wasn't paying attention. She was just simply waiting for the payoff to arrive as she rubbed her hooves together.

"Uh... 'any minute now' what?" Applejack asked.

"Huh? Oh, uh, nothing! Have you guys noticed how quiet it's gotten? I mean, it's still early, right?"

"Of course it's quiet. Ponies can't talk while they're eating those fabulous cookies, heh." Rarity replied.

"You think?"

"Of course. They're probably all in a cookie coma right now. Although, I'm not sure about the Pokemon if they experience cookies differently." Rarity thought about it for a second.

"Huh... Maybe you're right. I'll go check." Rainbow Dash flew off as she was curious as to why there wasn't a slither of sound. She expected screaming by now at this point. But nothing.

She noticed that most of the buildings here had their windows shut off with wood, making it impossible for Rainbow Dash to look inside.

"What is going on...?" She then found one house that still had its glass windows there as she looked through. A bunch of the joke cookies were scattered on the floor, half-eaten along with other boxes that had yet to be opened. "Okay. Definite cookie-eating happening. But... where is everypony? They must have seen their rainbow mouths by now... They should all be running out into the streets! Unless everypony went to bed early..."

Rainbow turned around, completely unaware as to what was inside of the house. The pony who lived there was walking in one single line with a sluggish pace. Her mouth was open as her eyes appeared to be a bit glazed.

Rainbow Dash flew over to SugarCube corner, expecting Pinkie Pie to be there. Once she entered, she noticed that nopony else was in sight as the room was dark. Not even Jade was here and she's always awake.

"Pinkie? Jade" She called for their names as she took a step forward. Her hooves made contact with a cookie, getting rainbows all over them.

"The whole town got the cookies, and now everypony is shut up in their houses! You don't think there's something wrong with the joke cookies, do you?" Rainbow continued to walk around SugarCube Corner's currently dark interior, hoping that she got a response from any of the two.

Suddenly, a clatter of metal could be heard from the kitchen, which prompted Rainbow Dash to see if it was either Jade or Pinkie Pie.

Instead, it was Mrs Cake and a bunch of the Slurpuff's who made that noise. Finally a familiar face for Rainbow Dash.

"Mrs Cake! Slurpuff! Phew! Have you seen Pinkie? I was thinking I might have something to do with her not feeling great."

And yet, no response from them. The only sound that they made were chewing noises, and husky breathing.

Uh... Mrs... Cake...? Slurpuff...?" She went up to them, curious as to why they were just standing there, making sluggish movements in one spot. With a few taps to her back, Rainbow Dash had finally grabbed their attention.

But not in the way she was expecting.

"Cookies...! Cookies!" Mrs Cake suddenly growled in a droning voice. Not only was her face covered with rainbows, but her eyes had purple shadows over them as she slowly approached Rainbow Dash.

"Slurpuff....!" So did the Slurpuff's as they were lined up like drones.

"Uh, I can see you're busy! I'll come back!" Rainbow Dash whimpered as she backed away. Her hoof landed on an empty box of cookies, causing her to fall on her back near a kitchen cupboard.

Once she did, she looked up to see Pinkie Pie and Spinda inside of the cupboard, spouting the same words Mrs Cake and the Slurpuff were saying. "Cookies...!"

"Spinda...!"

"Aaaaaah!" Rainbow Dash screamed at the top of her lungs, already terrified of the current situation. Little did she know, it was much bigger than she could imagine.

"More... cookies...!" Mrs Cake growled. It wasn't just her. Even the Cake Twins had been affected with shadows and rainbows on their faces. And of course, their Pokemon as well.

"Plusle...!"

"Minun...!"

The pegasus flew into the air as she looked down with her face wincing and grimacing. But being in the air wouldn't help her since Plusle and Minun decided to spark up some electricity from their bodies.

"Plusle...!"

"Minun...!"

The two Cheering Pokemon sent bolts of electricity up at Rainbow Dash, just to knock her out of the air. Rainbow screeched as she quickly dashed off, getting out of here. The bolts of electricity chased her down as they were zapping every single part of SugarCube Corner.

Rainbow Dash ended up bumping into another fellow pegasus in the form Jade. "Jade! Thank Arceus! You gotta see this! Pinkie and the others, they're-"

But unfortunately, once Jade turned around, she had the same rainbows and shadows on her face as well.

"Cookies." Compared to the others, she seemed normal since she spoke in her usual monotone and dry voice. But that was still enough to scare Rainbow Dash due to how lifeless Jade was.

"Gyaaaah!" Rainbow Dash dashed out of SugarCube Corner, getting away from this mess as soon as she could. But this mess wasn't just limited to SugarCube Corner.

As soon as she entered the centre of Ponyville, she saw that other ponies were full of rainbows and shadows too. All of them spouting the same words over and over again. "Cookies...!"

Every corner, every house, every area of Ponyville, ponies were constantly saying cookies with no end in sight. But it wasn't the ponies that Rainbow Dash had to worry about. It was the Pokemon.

She managed to get away from them for now, but they were all searching Ponyville for any remaining cookies out there. Rainbow Dash spotted Twilight, Spike and their Pokemon sitting down near the Ponyville statue, eating some of the cookies.

"Twilight! You gotta come with me to Sugarcube Corner! Something's going on with the Cakes! Well, not something exactly. I mean, it may have something to do with these joke cookies..."

Taking to Twilight proved to be useless as she, Spike and their Pokemon had unfortunately caught the same shadows and rainbows on their faces. "Cooooooookies...!"

"Ninetales...!" The Fox Pokemon stood up with a flaming aura surrounding his body.

"Oh, no! Not like this...!" Rainbow Dash shook her head. She flew off, hoping that there was somepony who was still normal and not a cookie-crazed zombie.

She went over to the Pokemon House since Fluttershy seemed like the one pony who would still be alright. Unfortunately, once she arrived at the Pokemon House, it was revealed that every single one of the Pokemon here had taken a bite out of the cookies.

And because of that, all of them were now hungering for cookies. And even Fluttershy wasn't safe from it as she burst out of her doors, screaming for cookies along with her Audino and Chikorita.

"Fluttershy...not you too...!"

"Cooooooookies...!"

All the Pokemon went up to Rainbow Dash, outnumbering her greatly. She backed up out of fear, but even that wasn't safe at all since she ended up bumping into Krookodile who was also affected.

"Krooko...dile...!" The Intimidation Pokemon growled as he was about to grab Rainbow Dash. Luckily, the multi-coloured-maned mare flew up but the skies weren't safe either.

Flying-Type Pokemon had surrounded her as well, making it clear that no matter what Rainbow Dash went, every individual had been affected by the joke cookies.

Almost everywhere. There was one place where nopony had eaten the cookies. Her home. She quickly dashed off to see her Pokemon, but the Flying-Types chased her down.

Rainbow Dash looked behind her to see that the Pokemon was following her, not giving her any time to rest or breathe. A Noctowl had used Air Slash, clipping Rainbow Dash's wings in the process.

"Woah!" Rainbow Dash lost her balance from the Air Slash, but thankfully, she was able to recover it quickly as she increased her speed, leaving the Flying-Types in the dust.

She finally arrived home as she shut her door tight, and blocked off her windows, making sure that none of the Pokemon break inside her house.

"Please be okay you guys!" Rainbow Dash went over to her Saddlebag, hoping that her Pokemon were still alright.

Thankfully, they were since none of them had eaten the cookies. Castform was asleep inside of Rainbow Dash's bag whilst the Poke Balls were still closed.

"Thank goodness..." Rainbow Dash let out a sigh of relief. She sent Braviary and the others to break the important news to them.

"Brav?"

"Mienfoo?"

"Luxio?"

"Alta?"

"Guys! We need to-" Rainbow Dash didn't even have the opportunity to explain what was going on. The Flying-Types had easily broken through her home by using Drill Peck to do so.

"Pidgeotto...!" Pidgeotto and the other Flying Pokemon cornered Rainbow Dash and the others inside of their own home.

"Gaah! Luxio! Discharge!" Rainbow Dash hid behind Braviary.

"Lu...XIO!" The Spark Pokemon fended off the Flying-Types by sending a violent whip of electricity their direction. This one action allowed Rainbow Dash and the others to get out of here. Mienfoo hopped on Braviary's back whilst Luxio got on Altaria's.

Rainbow Dash grabbed the saddlebag with Castform still inside as they all flew out of their own home, escaping the Flying-Type Pokemon who were all currently paralyzed thanks to Discharge.

"Braviary?!" Braviary and the others had finally been given the view of what Ponyville looked like at the moment. Cookie-crazed ponies and Pokemon everywhere.

"Gotta find somewhere safe! Come on!" Rainbow and her Pokemon took off whilst being chased down by every individual here.

Their main fears were the Flying Pokemon since they could chase them from the sky and ground. But the Electric-Types and Rock-Types were also a big threat to them as well.

But in truth, they were actually the last thing Rainbow and her Pokemon should worry about. The one Pokemon they hoped wouldn't be affected, had been affected.

That Pokemon was none other than Big Mac's Machamp. Arguably, the strongest Pokemon in Ponyville in terms of physical strength.

"Machamp...!" Machamp looked up, groaning at Rainbow Dash as he desired cookies like everypony else. The Superpower Pokemon picked up a house of all of a sudden, ripping it from the ground itself

"Oh no..." Rainbow Dash's ears dropped as she whimpered.

"Machamp...!" The Superpower Pokemon effortlessly tossed the house like it was baseball as it was heading straight for Rainbow Dash and her team.

"Gyaaah!" She screeched as they all flew over the house, avoiding it by the skin of their teeth. But this wasn't the time to pause. Machamp was already going for another object to throw at them.

"Not good...Not good at all! There's gotta be somepony else who hasn't eaten the cookies!" Rainbow Dash thought hard for a moment. She recalled the one individual who hadn't been given any cookies. "Ash! Of course! He'll be fine! Let-"

Her words were interrupted as a beam of fire grazed her mane, chipping a part of it off. That beam of fire came from Twilight's Ninetales who had used Mystical Fire.

"Nine...tales!"

"Espeon...!"

"Braviary! Speed up with Brave Bird! Return, for now, everyone else!" She returned Altaria, Luxio and Mienfoo into their Poke Balls for safety.

"Brav!" Braviary engulfed his body with an orange aura as he increased in speed, getting a good distance away from the cookie-crazed zombies.

Braviary and Rainbow Dash made their way over to Pallet Town by passing through the gateway. She was hoping that the humans haven't eaten the cookies yet.

Once she arrived at Pallet Town, Rainbow Dash immediately knocked on the Ketchum Household's door. "Mrs Ketchum! Open up, please! It's urgent! Is Ash home?!"

She got an answer but not the needed answer. Her fear of the humans eating the cookies had come true as Delia burst out of the house with shadows and rainbows all over her.

"Cooooooookies...!"

"Mime...!" Even her Mr Mime had taken a bite out of them.

"Guuh...!"

"Braviary!" Braviary flew back as he noticed that all the humans and Pokemon of Pallet Town were slowly making their way towards them, craving cookies like the ponies back home.

"Cooooooookies...!" The humans and Pokemon all cried out.

"Not you guys too!" Rainbow Dash and Braviary returned to Ponyville by flying through the gateway.

Although, it was a bad time to pass through at the moment. Because once they poked their heads through the gateway, Goh, Chloe and their Pokemon had been affected too. Even poor little Sobble.

"Cookies...Cooooooookies...!" Chloe crushed a box of cookies in her hands as she and Goh approached Rainbow Dash.

"Raboot...!"

"Sobble...!"

"Yamper...!"

"Why?!" Rainbow Dash zoomed past them all, heading off to find Applejack, Rarity and the CMC.

Thankfully, they were still unaffected by the cookies since they hadn't eaten them.

"You sure you don't mind us all comin' over?" Applejack asked Rarity.

"Oh, of course not. I think the girls have earned a little celebration for all of their hard work. And I have plenty of sewing machine cake left over. Unless anypony wants a cookie...?" Rarity used her magic to lift a box of the joke cookies.

"Don't touch those!" Rainbow Dash came flying in, kicking the box away from Rarity's hold.

"Oh! There is certainly no call for that! There's plenty for everypony." Rarity scoffed.

"Come on! We gotta get outta here!"

"What in tarnation are you goin' on about?" Applejack questioned.

"There's no time! You have to-"

"Machamp...!" Over the horizon, Machamp was running towards them at ludicrous speeds, spotting some cookies in the wheelbarrow.

"Is that Big Mac's Machamp?!" Applejack gasped.

"Run for it!" Rainbow Dash screamed at the top of her lungs. It didn't take an explanation for Rarity and the others to realize that they needed to get a move on.

They all hopped on the wheelbarrow whilst Braviary pulled on it since there was no way simple running could outpace Machamp. Braviary used Aerial Ace to boost herself, getting far enough from Machamp.

But the Superpower Pokemon wasn't the only fast Pokemon they had to worry about. Spike's Salamence had appeared from above, easily catching up with Braviary and the others.

"Salamence...!"

"Brav?!"

"Salamence...!" The Dragon Pokemon used Flamethrower to try and burn the cart into nothing. Braviary quickly drifted the cart, evading the blast of fire and saving the ponies sitting inside.

"Raboot...!" Raboot kicked a pebble up, setting it on fire as it then forced it towards the group. Upon making contact with the cart, the pebble exploded, causing a wheel to come off.

"Eek!" Sweetie Belle squealed.

Even with the cart losing a wheel, Braviary kept on dragging it with all he had.

"Why are they attacking us?! What is going on?!" Scootaloo pulled her mane.

"How did this all happen...?!" Rainbow Dash's eye twitched. She was starting to lose hope. Until she spotted the one person she was looking for.

Over at the corner of her eye, she spotted Ash and Pikachu coming out of the Everfree Forest. But they weren't showing their faces at all.

"Ash! Pikachu!" Rainbow Dash flew over to them. "I'm so glad I found you two!"

"We're glad we found you, Rainbow Dash..." Ash suddenly replied in a somewhat dreary tone. A tone that made Rainbow Dash a bit uncomfortable. She noticed that Ash's hair was rising all of a sudden.

"Uh...Ash, you sound a bit weird." Rainbow Dash backed up.

"What makes you say that?" Ash raised his head as it was revealed that his eyes were sharper along with him having shadows on his face. But no rainbows, meaning he hasn't eaten them yet.

"Pika...!" But Pikachu actually had both the rainbows and the shadows on his face.

"Ash! Get away from Pikachu quick!"

"Why? He just wants some cookies. Everyone does." Ash raised his arm as he sent out Dragonite, Riolu and Farfetch'd out.

They had eaten the cookies as well. Now the gigantic Dragonite, stern Farfetch'd and strong-willed Riolu were cookie-crazed zombies too.

"Ash...What's going on with you...?" Rainbow Dash shuddered. It took her a moment to process things until she finally realized what was wrong with Ash.

Everypony, Pokemon and human gathered behind Ash as he was essentially the leader in all of this. They all stopped at his command.

"Ash...you're behind all of this?!" Rainbow Dash gasped.

"Go. Grab all the cookies you can from that wheelbarrow." Ash pointed at the wheelbarrow with remaining cookies as he ordered every single one of them as if they belonged to him.

"Dragonite...!" The Dragon Pokemon was the first to fly after them with its huge huggable arms now craving for cookies to be held in them.

"This way!" Applejack shouted as she led Braviary and the others to a spot she believed would be a good place to hide.

"Pika...!" Pikachu caught up to them with ease as he used Iron Tail to cut the wheelbarrow in half, separating most of the cookies as the CMC and Rarity were on the other side that hadn't been cut off.

"Riolu...!" The Emanation Pokemon got on Dragonite's back as he used Vacuum Wave to try and knock all the wheels off the wheelbarrow but missed due to Applejack's directions.

"Grovyle! Use Dragonbreath!" Applejack commanded.

"Gro...Vyle!" The Wood Gecko Pokemon gave them all the opportunity to escape by sending a blast of draconic fire on the ground. That blast caused a smoke cloud so great that it blocked everyone's vision from Rainbow Dash and the others.

They had finally managed to escape the cookie-crazed zombied. But that wouldn't last. Because of Audino's amazing hearing and Slurpuff's sensitive nose, eventually, they will find them.

They hid in the barn, locking it shut with whatever they could find as Rainbow Dash was breathing in and out "Did we lose them?!"

"Rainbow Dash! Did you prank everypony in Ponyville and Pallet Town?!" Applejack went up to her.

"Uh..."

"Did she? I couldn't tell" All of a sudden, Ash was inside of the barn, sitting on top of a pile of hay.

"Ash?!" Rainbow Dash fell on her back.

"Doesn't look like a prank to me." Ash shook his head as he hopped off the hay. "Or maybe it's an advanced one I've never seen before."

"Rainbow Dash! What did you do?!" Applejack backed up from Ash.

"Okay! So I may have switched all the Filly Guide cookies for joke cookies that were supposed to make ponies' mouths rainbow but somehow turned everypony into mindless cookie-eating zombies instead! But I didn't expect Ash to be behind it!"

"Surprised?" All of a sudden, Ash had lifted a box of cookies without holding it at all. Instead, he seemed to be using some form of dark energy similar to that of Night Shade as he levitated them in the air.

He forced the cookies inside of Rarity, Applejack and the CMC's mouths with this unexpected manipulation.

"NO!" Rainbow Dash screeched as she just saw her friends devour the cookies. But it didn't stop there. Ash had forced Braviary and Grovyle to eat some as well, making them affected too.

"C-C-C-Coooookiiiieeees...!" Rarity suddenly groaned.

"Looks like your prank up and backfiiiirrrrreeeeed..." Applejack and Grovyle went up to her.

"Grovyle...!"

"Cooooooookiiiieeeees..." The CMC moaned.

"Machamp...!" Machamp punched through the doors of the barn as Dragonite simply used its full body to fly through it. Thanks to Slurpuff and Audino, they had been tracked down easily.

"Dragonite...!"

"Pika...!"

There was nowhere to run now. Salamence, Machamp and Dragonite blocked off the entrance with their overwhelming size whilst everyone else closed in on Rainbow Dash, backing her into a corner.

It was game over now.

"No, no! Stay away! They're making you sick! You don't want these!" Rainbow Dash whimpered.

"But we dooooooo... We want cookiiiiiiiieeeeeeees...!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Krookodile...!" Krookodile appeared behind Rainbow Dash, wrapping his tail around her neck as she was finally trapped.

"Nngh! Please! Stop! I never meant for this to happen! It was just a harmless prank! It was supposed to be funny! But this isn't funny at all!"

"Exactly!" Pinkie suddenly spoke in her normal tone. All of a sudden, everyone wiped the rainbows off their mouths. But the shadows were still there.

"...Huh?"

"Alright. You can come out now, Gengar." Ash commanded.

"Gen!" Gengar finally revealed itself as it flew out of Ash's body, returning the trainer to normal. Not only that, but the shadows on everyone's eyes had faded away.

"Phew. Thanks, Gengar." Ash stretched his arms.

"Gengar!"

"What? Wait... What's happening?" Rainbow Dash looked around her as Krookodile removed his tail from her neck.

"Just delighting in pranking the prankster." Rarity combed her mane.

"Yeah. How does it feel to get some of your own medicine?" Applejack chuckled.

"So... you're... not sick? None of you are?"

"Of course not, silly! Well...Gengar possessing our shadows made us feel weird though." Pinkie said.

"Gotcha!" Everyone said.

"B-B-But Ash...he-"

"Was possessed by Gengar." Ash went up to her. "Gengar went inside of everyone's shadow. That's why they all had those shadows on their faces."

"Gar."

"And it was all thanks to that device Gengar got for Christmas. After all, it can only possess one shadow at a time." Delia explained.

"So...Gengar was behind the whole thing?"

"Mhm. You should feel pretty lucky. This was just a small scale prank by Gengar. If it decides to go all out who knows what it can do." Pinkie wrapped her hoof around the Shadow Pokemon.

"Yep! And you can also thank Pinkie Pie. After you told her about your plan to prank the whole town, she got Gengar to gather everypony together and came up with a way to turn the tables on you." Applejack went into further detail.

"I have to admit, I actually enjoyed that a bit," Chloe said.

"Yamper!"

"Wow! You should see your face!" Scootaloo giggled.

"Talk about funny!" Apple Bloom chucked.

"Well, I don't think it's very funny!" Rainbow Dash scoffed. "And I'm the one that got pranked! I was really scared! I thought I made everypony sick! You can't just go around—"

"Pranking whoever you feel like?"

"Without thinking about how it might make them feel?"

"Or if they'd even enjoy it?"

"Or think it's funny?"

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash paused until she finally figured it all out. "Oh, I see what you did there."

"Pranks can be a lot of fun when everypony has a good time. I thought you just needed to see what it's like when they don't." Pinkie explained.

"I guess I did. I'm sorry, everypony. I haven't really been thinking about how other ponies, Pokemon and humans feel." She apologized to them all.

"Well, I hope you learned your lesson." Pinkie nodded.

"Totally! You ponies pulled off an amazing prank! I'll have to work extra hard to top it! Even surpassing Gengar if this one was just a simple prank!" She rubbed her hooves together.

Everypony paused for a moment as they thought she was serious for a second.

"Gotcha." But it was just a joke. And a perfect joke that actually made everyone laugh.

It has been a strange day for Rainbow Dash. What started as a large-scale prank, transformed into an even larger-scale prank that mortified her. After seeing how Gengar does its pranks by possessing everypony's shadows, Rainbow Dash couldn't help but feel impressed. Even if her own Pokemon were in on it.

There's a lot more to look forward too when it comes to both this world and the Pokemon World as the journey continues.
