Head Honchkrow

Morning in Ponyville.

Applejack came out of her home in Sweet Apple Acres, taking in all that fresh air.

"Ah... nothing like the fresh air of Equestria to get the day rolling." Applejack walked with joy in her eyes, but that joy was stopped when saw something she didn't want to see. A flock of Murkrow's were suddenly stealing the apples in the trees, flying away with them. "Huh? HEY! YOU VERMIN! GET BACK HERE WITH THOSE APPLES!"

All the way over at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie was freaking out. Murkrow's were taking all of the cakes and pastries she and Mr and Mrs cake had to bake. "COME BACK! THOSE ARE MEANT FOR SOME PONY ELSE!" Pinkie bellowed.

This was happening everywhere. For some unexplained reason, Murkrow's were just swooping in, snatching everypony's food left and right. They didn't stop for one second, they just kept on taking them. Ash sat down to get a good bite out of his morning food with Pikachu. "Here goes. Let's dig in!"

"Pikachu!"

Just as they were about to dig in, Murkrow swooped in, taking their food.

"Huh? Hey!"

"Pika!"

Soon all of Ponyville had lost their morning food. Making them go hungry. They all started to complain as Mayor Mare caught wind of this, attempting to calm them all down. They all gathered up to tell their complaints to the mayor. "Everypony please calm down. I'm sure we can solve this sudden Murkrow problem. That's the Pokemon's name right? In the meantime, we still have a source of food. Sugarcube Corner and Sweet Apple Acres can provide as many foods for everypony!"

"We can't! Those darn crows dun stole every apple in our orchard!" Granny Smith yelled from the crowd.

"Oh... well then Sugarcube Corner can provide food for everypony."

"Yeah! We can still make other stuff for everypony!" Pinkie said. But the moment she said that the Murkrow's returned, stealing everything from Sugar Cube Corner. "Nevermind. It's all gone."

"Oh, dear. Well not to worry. We have a way around this. The pegasi and the Flying-Types can stop the Murkrow the next time they come along. I trust some of you have Flying-Types?"

Some ponies nodded their head as in fact they did have Flying-Type Pokemon at their disposal.

"Excellent. Now then. Everypony go on and find something to eat. And keep a lookout for any Murkrow's." Mayor Mare finished this short speech as everypony walked off.

"Why do you think the Murkrow's are suddenly stealing everypony's food?" Twilight wondered.

"Maybe it's like what happened with the bats? They must be really hungry." Fluttershy answered.

"It better not be like the bats. I don't wanna go through that again." Applejack shuddered.

"I'm sure we can find out why they're doing this. If they're hungry then we'll give them plenty of food," said Fluttershy. "But it's strange... Murkrow's don't fly around during the day. They generally sleep until dusk and their flying at night."

"Whatever the reason, they'd better watch it!" Rainbow Dash clashed her hooves together. Her stomach started to rumble like everypony else's. "First I need some grub."

Minutes later, everypony was struggling to find some food. The Murkrow had really taken everything. And in such a short amount of time too. They were all eating leftovers from last time but it wasn't much. At all.

"Pika.." Pikachu's stomach growled as he slumped on a wall.

"Did those Murkrow really take everything...How is that even possible? They just arrived 20 minutes ago during the day." Twilight groaned.

"There was only like...13 of them. Not even that many." Rainbow replied.

"Alright. I'm heading back to my world to grab something to eat." Ash was walking towards the gateway. "I can't wait to eat..."

Seeing Ash walk towards the gateway made everypony turn their heads. They could get some food on the other side. So they all rushed forward, knocking Ash through the gateway as they all entered Pallet Town.

"OW!"

"Pika!"

Delia came outside to see all of Ponyville outside. Some familiar faces and new faces were in the crowd. They all had their tongue and they were drooling too. "Oh my. Are you all friends of Ash?"

"Mhm! Got any food?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Oh... I see what this is. Don't worry. I can cook you all something wonderful. How does some Fresh Cream Curry, Instant Noodles and Slowpoke Tail sound?"

"YEAH!" Everypony yelled as Ash and Pikachu were still on the ground, groaning.

Delia managed to cook for an entire town, filling all those empty stomachs. Ponyville had never tasted anything so delectable before. They've been missing out on the other world's food. A few of them ate inside while the rest of them ate outside at Pallet Town.

"Mmm! This stuff is good!" Rainbow Dash slurped the noodles up.

"I can't believe we didn't think of this before!" Mayor Mare had also joined in, feeling hungry herself.

"This stuff's just as good as our apples!" Applejack chomped on the Slowpoke Tail.

"Eeyup."

"Oh, cream. Even in this world you're here for me." Pinkie Pie was going in on the Fresh Cream.

"Glad you're all enjoying your meal. I'm always happy to help any of Ash's friends in need."

"Thank you so much Mrs Ketchum!" They all said.

"I still haven't eaten yet..." Ash held his stomach. Rarity gave him some Slowpoke Tail to feed his rumbling stomach. "Oh. Thanks, Rarity!" Ash and Pikachu started to eat all of the tail as fast as they could.

Very soon, everypony in Ponyville was satisfied. Their hunger had been dealt with as they laid on their backs. Curry in this world can really make you feel unusually satisfied.

"I believe it is time we all returned back to Ponyville." Mayor Mare stood up as everypony followed suit. They all waved goodbye to Delia, entering the gateway. But what they saw, was not what they expected. "W-W-W-WHAT?!"

Murkrow's were flying away with all their furniture, items, collectibles, valuables, you name it. They snatched everything.

"My trinkets!"

"My kiosks!"

"My game controller!"

"My jelly!"

"Those Murkrow have done it now!" Rainbow Dash tossed out her Braviary as it flew up into the skies. "Braviary! Let's go get em!"

"Braviary!"

Rainbow Dash and Braviary chased after the Murkrow's. The Dark Pokemon turned around to see the two of them gaining on the flock. And they were moving fast. So to slow them down, the Murkrow's used Haze to block their vision as they disappeared into the black hazy mist.

"Where'd they go?!"

"Brav?"

"Oh, we'll find them anyways. Blow it away with your wings Braviary!"

Braviary flapped its wings aggressively, kicking up a wind current that blew away the haze. Braviary and Rainbow Dash saw two Murkrow left as they were lagging behind the others due to holding heavier objects.

"We've got you now Brave Bird!" Braviary charged forward, crashing into both of the Murkrow's making them fall to the ground along with the objects they were carrying. Everypony in Ponyville were chasing after the Murkrow as welly by following Rainbow Dash and her Braviary. After all, that is their stuff. Rainbow Dash landed down with Braviary as the two Murkrow saw all of Ponyville here. "Alright you two. Fess up! Where are the rest of your thieving pals?!"

"Murk! Murkrow!"

"They said that you'll never make us talk." Fluttershy translated.

"Oh yeah?" Rainbow Dash grinned, knowing how to make anypony talk. "Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash summoned Pinkie to her side. The party pony knew what she had to do. Pinkie Pie took out a book that looked like it went on for ages as it was a book of all the worst puns anypony could think of. The Murkrow's were intelligent enough to know what a bad pun was and they didn't want to hear any of them.

"M-MURKROW!" They flapped their feathers aggressively.

"They said they'll talk." Fluttershy translated.

"Murk. Murkrow. Murkrow. Krow!"

"They said that they're bringing it all to their boss. He demands all the food, equipment and furniture he desires. The boss is the boss after all."

"Who's their boss?" Sonata asked.

Take us to him. Right now." Rainbow Dash looked them in the eyes. The Murkrow's did just that. They led all of Ponyville to a secluded area in the lush forests. This area had been made by the two worlds crossing over and terraforming the forest.

Once they got there, they saw all of their stuff. Everything that everypony owned was there. Including all the food that was stolen. It was all in this slightly darker green forest were the trees were wilted and there Murkrow's sitting on those wilted trees.

"Sweet Celestia. It's all here." Rarity gazed.

"Look! Up there!" Octavia pointed her hoof up at the one Pokemon that was standing atop a larger tree. The head honcho.

Honchkrow.

"Who's that Pokemon?" Rainbow Dash took out her Pokedex as all the ponies leaned in to hear this.

"Honchkrow. The Big Boss Pokemon. Becoming active at night, it is known to swarm with numerous Murkrow in tow. If its Murkrow cronies fail to catch food for it, or if it feels they have betrayed it, it will hunt them down wherever they are and punish them. Its goons take care of most of the fighting for it. The only time it dirties its own hands is in delivering a final blow to finish off an opponent."

"That explains everything now." Rainbow said. "So you're the punk who's been sending these goons to take our stuff huh?!"

"Honch. Honchkrow."

"Honchkrow said that...ahem.. you ponies left your post so we took what was unguarded. Because very soon, I'm gonna be the boss running your town." Fluttershy translated, having a serious tone to her voice. "Sorry. Had to match his personality."

"I beg your pardon. Running our town?!" Mayor Mare stepped forward. "What makes you think YOU can just come along and decide to run Ponyville?!"

"Honckrow. Krow-Honch. Honchkrow. Honch."

"He says that he makes his own rules. And his rule is that he's gonna run Ponyville now. And we're gonna be the ones that bring him food and equipment from now on. We'll be his replacements for Murkrow."

"That won't happen." Mayor Mare stared down Honchkrow as he stared back.

"Honch...Krow. Krow-Krow." The Big Boss Pokemon suddenly smirked.

"He says...We'll make a deal. If you can defeat my Murkrow and me in a battle, then you can have all your stuff back. But I wouldn't count on it, pony."

"You're on!" Rainbow Dash was ready to act but Mayor Mare stopped her.

"No, Rainbow Dash. Let me handle this. I'm the Mayor of Ponyville and this is a situation that calls for me."

"O-Okay. You got it, mayor." Rainbow Dash backed up.

"Honckrow!" Honchkrow let out a cry as all the Murkrow's flew down from their trees, ready to battle.

"I'll make sure I get everypony's belongings back! Lucky for me, my Lillipup reached its final evolution weeks ago. GO!" Mayor Mare tossed out her Pokeball, bringing out her partner Pokemon. Stoutland. Rainbow Dash pulled out her dex to see this new Pokemon.

"Stoutland. The Big-Hearted Pokemon. Stoutland's bravery and intelligence make it an excellent partner. Many trainers put their trust in this Pokemon to help rescue explorers stranded in the mountains or to keep an eye on the kids. ts fur is long and thick. A long time ago in cold regions, every household kept a Stoutland."

"Oh my gosh! It looks so huggable!" Sweetie Belle squeed.

"Are you sure you can beat all those Pokemon with just one, Mayor Mare?" Twilight asked.

"Trust me Princess Twilight. Stoutland and I can do this."

"Honch." Honchkrow sent three Murkrow's forward to deal with Stoutland. "Honchkrow!"

"He said. Let the battle begin!" Fluttershy translated as it was about to start. The Murkrow's got the first hit in by playing dirty. They each used Haze to throw Stoutland's vision off, creating a haze around the forest.

"This haze thing again?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. But Mayor Mare kept her cool along with Stoutland.

"Stoutland. Use Thunder Fang!" Stoutland's teeth were covered in an electric aura as it lunged through the haze, seeing a Murkrow. It bit on the wing of the Murkrow. It was Super-Effective as Stoutland tossed the Murkrow away with its teeth, making one of them faint already.

"Amazing! One of them's already down!" Pinkie Pie yelled.

The other two Murkrow's had used Peck, flying in an aggressively pecking at Stoutland. The Big-Hearted Pokemon was barely phased at all by this. If anything. It was just annoyed by it.

"Iron Head." Stoutland's head was encased in Iron as it slammed its head onto a Murkrow, launching it into the other one as they crashed into a tree, making them both faint at the same time.

"H-Honch?!" Honchkrow was surprised at how easily she took them out. The ponies let out a cheer, seeing their mayor completely flatten those three. "Honchkrow..." Honchkrow sent out more Murkrow's. 8 of them. Now Stoutland was dealing with more numbers.

"Oh come on! Eight now?!" Lyra yelled.

"Honchkrow!" Honchkrow gave the command to let the battle start. This time the Murkrow's changed things up a bit. They used their talons to kick dirt into Stoutland's eyes, messing with its vision. Then they used Haze to make it even worse. And the previous Haze was still there, so now it was even tougher to see. The Murkrow's had attacked Stoutland from all sides this time. They used Peck and Wing Attack on it continuously.

"Don't worry Stoutland! Use Iron Head on them and then follow up with a Thunder Fang!" Stoutland ran towards one of the Murkrow's charging headfirst at one of them, taking it out in one hit. Stoutland then ducked, avoiding a Wing Attack to head as it raised its head up at the Murkrow above it, striking its stomach with Iron Head, knocking it out as well. The Murkrow's then decided to use the items to their advantage. They picked up some furniture as they tossed it over at Stoutland.

"Hey! That's no fair! You can't do that!" Rainbow Dash bellowed.

"They're Dark-Types. They always play dirty no matter what." Ash explained.

"Pika."

Stoutland broke the furniture with Iron Head, charging through them. On the downside, some of the ponies had to see their precious furniture be destroyed in this battle. Honchkrow was getting worried. Mayor Mare and Stoutland were working really well as a team. It had to do something. So it ordered one of the remaining Murkrow's to try something extra sly.

A Murkrow had grabbed one of the jelly jars dropping them on Stoutland's head as Jelly got all over its head. Then it picked up some of the cakes, dropping it on Stoutland as well. Soon the Big-Hearted Pokemon couldn't see at all. Dirt, Haze, jelly and cakes had messed it all up. The Murkrow's then pecked ferociously at Stoutland, making it lower itself on the ground. They grabbed some items, swinging them on the Normal-Type.

Some ponies found this hard to watch. But Mayor Mare still kept her cool. "Now! Thunder Fang!" Stoutland used its nose and ears as its guide as it used Thunder Fang on a Murkrow. It then sniffed out the others as it was shocking them with a bite constantly, moving from Pokemon to Pokemon. Stoutland didn't need vision to battle at times. Besides, all that fur in the front was blocking most of its eyesight in the first place.

Very soon, all the Murkrow's were taken down. There were only two left now. But they were so intimidated by Stoutland and what just happened that they flew off and left, afraid.

"Now it's just you. Come down here and face me, Honchkrow!" Mayor Mare exclaimed. Honchkrow wasn't too worried. After all, the Pokedex did mention how it always deals the last blow whenever the Murkrow's rough the opponent up. And Honchkrow new this. Stoutland was bombarded earlier with tons of attacks and even items. It should be at a fairly weak state by now. "You're going to stay far away from our town as possible."

"Honchkrow..."

The air was still as everypony could feel it. There was a silent gulp and the sound of a sweatdrop hitting the ground. The wind flowed, blowing the wilted trees as the dust of the previous battle had settled.

"Honchkrow!" The Big Boss Pokemon made the first move. He used Toxic, spitting it out of his beak as it got on Stoutland. Now Stoutland had to deal with poison. This even caught Mayor Mare off guard.

"Stoutland! Thunder Fang!" Stoutland picked up Honchkrow's smell, running towards him. But the Big Boss Pokemon flew up, avoiding the Thunder Fang he used Dark Pulse, sending a dark wave down on Stoutland, hitting its back.

"STOUT!"

"Honchkrow-krow..." Honchkrow grinned as he picked Stoutland up with its talons, going to the air.

"Quickly Stoutland! Raise your head up and use Iron Head!" Stoutland turned its head iron as it thrust its head up, hitting Honchkrow's belly. Honchkrow dropped Stoutland as the Big-Hearted Pokemon back down. This also hurt Stoutland in the process.

Honchkrow flew up in the air, firing a Dark Pulse down.

"Dodge it!" Stoutland used its ears to pick up where the attack was coming from. It sensed it from above as it rolled to the side like a dog would. Honchkrow kept firing more Dark Pulses, but Stoutland could hear them coming from above, continuously running and avoiding them. Honchkrow realised he wasn't making any progress, so he charged down with Aerial Ace, striking Stoutland in the face as he sent the Normal-Type Pokemon flying and crashing through some equipment. But Stoutland wasn't down yet.

"Honchkrow." Honchkrow laughed, thinking that this was the end of the line for Stoutland. The Dark-Flying-Type was about to deal the final blow with the move Assurance as its wings were radiating a dark aura.

Mayor Mare on the other hoof had one move in particular. She was saving it was she smirked. Honchkrow went in, ready to deal that last hit until...

"GIGA IMPACT!" Stoutland unleashed all of its might as it took off from the ground, leaving a smoke cloud as it crashed headfirst into Honchkrow, overpowering Assurance as the Big-Hearted Pokemon was moving so fast it was carrying him up into the air. "Stay away from my town!" Mayor Mare exclaimed as Stoutland launched Honchkrow up with the last of the Giga energy. Honchkrow was sent flying out of control, going through clouds as he was nothing but a star in the sky now.

"She did it! WOOHOO!" Pinkie Pie tossed confetti everywhere as the entirety of Ponyville applauded and cheered for Mayor Mare's victory. Stoutland was badly hurt. Still full of poison in it. But it went to hug its trainer for its victory.

"Well done, Stoutland. This is why you're my Pokemon." Mayor Mare petted her Pokemon.

"Stout!"

Fluttershy had gotten Audino to heal Stoutland of its injuries and the toxic. Everypony was taking back what the Murkrow took from them, even if some of their stuff had been destroyed in the battle.

"You were amazing Mayor Mare. Remind me not to break any laws in Ponyville." Rarity said.

"Oh, why thank you, Rarity."

"But how did you get so good at Pokemon Battling?" Twilight asked.

"I'm the mayor. I watch over what everypony does in my town most of the time. And I've been keeping an eye on Ash and Rainbow Dash's training sessions. I can learn a lot at my age you know." She proudly answered. They all laughed as they returned back to Ponyville to enjoy the rest of the sunny day.

I'm surprised so many ponies are okay eating meat meaning the slowpoke tails which also are a real rare delicacy and borderline illegal to harvest outside certain vendors or something. Because I remember in one of the games and series team rocket stealing slowpokes to cut off their tales
