Battle for the Mega Stones

Mega Evolution Camp, afternoon.

The trial of obtaining the Mega Stones has just begun. Currently, Twilight and Absol were in the midst of battling against Lucario for the Absolite, but it wasn't looking so easy for them considering how formidable Lucario was.

But Twilight and Absol weren't planning on calling it quits. Even if they had a disadvantage and moves that can barely do anything to Lucario. They're determined to get that Mega Stone.

And the same can be said for the rest of her friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Spike, who were all still heading towards their respective caves for their Mega Stones.

All the while, Ash and the others were watching everything slowly unfold via the tablet connected to the cameras in each cave.

"Twilight's doing pretty good so far," Ash commented. "But man, that Lucario's fast."

"Pika."

"Espeon."

"If only she had a fourth move on Absol." Fluttershy bit her hoof. "Oh, I don't think most of them have more than three moves actually."

"Yeah. This is gonna be a bit rough to get through." Pinkie Pie gulped.

"Pichu..." Pichu, who was actually Mew in disguise, nodded in agreement.

"No need to worry. Even with little moves, Twilight and the others know how to really make things work in their favour, ya know."

"Pikachu!"

"We'll see." The lady said as she and the others continued to watch the battle between Twilight and Lucario while also remembering to look for the other battles in the other caves.

And speaking of which, the second one to finally approach their cave was Applejack.

With Applejack, Blaziken came from above, smashing its blazing foot on the ground as fire erupted around it, causing Applejack and Sceptile to back away from the fire.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken stood up, crossing its arms as the fire around it was separating. "Ken." Blaziken's eyes intensified as it glared into the eyes of its fellow Hoenn starter. Intense flames blew out from its wrists

"S-Sceptile!"

"Relax, Applejack." Applejack adjusted her hat. "This ain't the first time I've rassled with a chicken, ya know. Hope you're ready for a beatdown, Blaziken."

"Blaziken."

"Sceptile! Dragon Pulse!"

"Scep...!" Sceptile held his breath in as draconic energy was building up inside. All the while, Blaziken stood there unbothered. "Tile!" Out of Sceptile's mouth, a dragon-shaped shockwave came bursting out, tearing through the ground of the cave.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken narrowed its eyes as its feet ignited with fire, showing that it was about to use Blaze Kick. With an upper swing of its legs, Blaziken had kicked Dragon Pulse, cutting the Dragon-Type move in half.

The split Dragon Pulse blew up with sides of the rocky area already demolished because of it. As the smoke was clearing Blaziken's blazing eyes could be seen.

And through the smoke, Blaziken approached Sceptile with Blaze Kick, not deciding to stand back and wait for Applejack and Sceptile to make a move.

"Here it comes! Leaf Blade!"

"Sceptile!" The four leaves on Sceptile's wrists glowed light green and then formed into two. "Tile!" The Forest Pokemon dashed forward as he and the Blaze Pokemon clashed moves, with Sceptile's bladed wrists colliding with Blaziken's legs.

The two Hoenn Pokemon leaned forward with their eyes meeting. They separated each other with the force of their attacks, but they didn't stop there. Blaziken did a quick backflip before dashing back in with Blaze Kick. Sceptile quickly put his arms together, using Leaf Blade to block the incoming kick.

"Ken!" Blaziken added an extra oomph to its Blaze Kick as it smashed its leg onto Sceptile's wrists, creating a mild shockwave from it.

"S-Sceptile!" Sceptile certainly felt that one as his body shuddered. He was also pushed back a bit by the kick as Blaziken kept its foot there. Eventually, the two of them separated once more, pushing each other back as their little struggle came to an end. "Tile!"

"Blaziken!"

"Now, Sceptile! Use Double Team!"

"Scep-Scep-Scep!" The Forest Pokemon created multiple afterimages of himself that all suddenly surrounded Blaziken from every side.

"Ken?" Blaziken looked around to see that he was surrounded by multiple copies of Sceptile. But there was no need to worry as Blaziken had an answer for that. "Blazi...!" The Blaze Pokemon had used Aerial Ace instead of Blaze Kick this time. Another move that was super-effective against Sceptile.

Blaziken then suddenly bolted off the ground, moving so fast that it had become nearly invisible to Sceptile's eyes. And that was because Blaziken's ability was Speed Boost. And those previous clashes it had with Sceptile had already boosted its speed.

"Scep?!"

"W-Where'd it go?!" Applejack had just reacted to Blaziken's sudden appearance by being 7 seconds late. She couldn't exactly keep up with Blaziken's ludicrous speed.

"Blaziken!" And because of that, Blaziken appeared in front of one of the clones, kicking it out of existence as it then disappeared once more.

"Tile?!"

"Ken!" A second time, another Sceptile clone had been destroyed by Blaziken's Aerial Ace as the Blaze Pokemon kept moving around, destroying every last Sceptile clone until it found the real one.

"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy gasped while watching Applejack's battle. " That's far too fast to keep up with!"

"Uh-huh..." Pinkie Pie's eyes were wobbling about trying to focus on Blaziken. But she couldn't due to Speed Boost.

"Speed Boost is super scary on Blaziken. Especially with Aerial Ace..." Ash narrowed his eyes.

"Pika..."

"Too fast..." Applejack growled as her eyes couldn't track Blaziken's speed. One by one, the Sceptile clones were being wiped out as Blaziken was getting close to finding the real one. "Ah, whatever! Sceptile! Dragon Pulse all around!"

"Sceptile!" The remaining Sceptile clones all fired a short burst Dragon Pulse for quick damage since charging up wouldn't do against a speedy Pokemon like Blaziken, who just kept getting faster with each strike.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken was able to evade Dragon Pulse by using Aerial to do so. With blinding speeds, the Blaze Pokemon front flipped over the Dragon Pulses, causing them all to clash and explode on each other.

And because of the Dragon Pulses, Blaziken was able to find the real Sceptile based on the speed they all fired at. One Sceptile fired Dragon Pulse faster than the rest, making it clear which was the real Sceptile.

"Ken!" Blaziken appeared in front of the real Sceptile, confounding the Forest Pokemon with a swift knee to the stomach.

"S-Scep!"

"Blaziken!" Blaziken didn't stop there. It then used Fire Punch while its knee was on Sceptile's stomach. With its fists igniting with blazing flames, the Blaze Pokemon smashed Fire Punch onto Sceptile's face, dealing further damage.

"T-Tile!"

"Sceptile get out of there, quick!"

"Blaziken!" But, Blaziken helped with that by smashing its other fist into Sceptile's face, this time with extra force. The second Fire Punch launched Sceptile, sending the Forest Pokemon flying.

"S-Sceptile!" The Grass-Type took immense damage as he tumbled on the ground, landing in front of Applejack.

"Sceptile! You okay?!"

"S-Sceptile...!" Sceptile got back up as he held his face and stomach. Even after getting hit by super-effective moves in the form of Fire and Flying he was still standing.

"Phew..." Applejack sighed. "Wish I had better moves right now...Need to think of something fast..."

"Blaziken...!" Blaziken intimidated Applejack and Sceptile by further igniting its fists. The fire coming from Blaziken's fists and wrists gave off an intense brightness that lit up the cave.

Applejack quickly moved her eyes around the cave while it was lit up, deciding to switch things up. She knows that up close, Blaziken has the upper hand and even from a far distance, Blaziken can easily close the gap with its amazing speed and ability.

So, the best thing Applejack decided to go for was the environment. One of the many lessons that Ash had taught Applejack and the others is that at times, the environment can greatly benefit a Pokemon during a battle. And a bonus if their Type matches the environment too.

So, Applejack shifted her eyes to the side, spotting the waterfall that all the caves on this island have. And that's where she found a way to really turn things around.

"Alright." Applejack adjusted her hat. "Aint no way we're getting close to you."

"Blaziken?"

"Sceptile! Use your vines to swing to that Waterfall!"

"Tile!" Sceptile did just that by outstretching his arm, sending his vines out. His vines latched into the ceiling of the cave, causing the Forest Pokemon to propel himself upwards for higher ground and to obviously swinging towards the waterfall.

"Ken!" But of course, Blaziken could respond to that. In the most unexpected way yet. The Blaze Pokemon pulled its arms back, generating fire out of it. But it wasn't about to send an attack towards Sceptile. Not at all.

Instead, Blaziken used the fire on its hands to give itself propulsion as the fire acted like jet boosters. And like a jet, Blaziken took the air, using the fire on its hands to fly.

"Are you kidding me?!" Applejack gasped.

"Sceptile?!" Sceptile was just as surprised as his trainer. He did not see this coming as he saw his fellow Hoenn Starter approaching him at high speeds. Knowing where he needed to go to get an advantage, Sceptile began swinging with his vines by continuously sending them out.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken wasn't as fast in the air. It was more of a land-based Pokemon which is incredibly ironic considering what it resembles. So, it wasn't able to utilize Speed Boost in the air like it would in the ground. As for Sceptile, the vines really gave him the advantage here.

However, Blaziken had a third move to deal with any air problems. By opening its mouth, Blaziken used the move Flamethrower as a stream of orange-red fire came out.

Flamethrower ended up hitting one of Sceptile's vines, causing the Forest Pokemon to lose his momentum and grip on the vine that he held. "Scep?!"

With the vine being burnt away, Sceptile fell. But, thankfully, he had swung far enough to get close to the waterfall. Knowing of that, Sceptile closed his eyes as he fell through the waterfall, achieving his goal either way.

"Yes!" Applejack grinned.

"Ken?!" Blaziken obviously wasn't a huge fan of water. So when it came close to the waterfall, the Blaze Pokemon immediately stopped using its fire boosters, landing on the ground. Blaziken then backed away from the waterfall, making sure none of it would get on its blazing yet feathered body.

"Now's our chance...Go Sceptile!"

"Tile!" Unfortunately for Blaziken, it wouldn't be able to stay away from the waterfall forever. Because out of the waterfall came multiple vines that wrapped around Blaziken's neck, arms and legs.

"B-Blaziken?!"

"Sceptiple!" Sceptile then used the vines to immediately pull Blaziken in, forcing his fellow Hoenn Starter to enter the waterfall. With Blaziken interacting with the water, the Blaze Pokemon had been weakened because of it.

"Now, spin around real fast!"

"Tile!" When Blaziken got close to Sceptile with the vines pulling it in, the Forest Pokemon headbutted the Blaze Pokemon, finally dealing some sort of damage. And the water all over Blaziken certainly helped as Sceptile then started using his vines to spin Blaziken around. "Scep!"

"B-Blazik?!" Blaziken had finally been caught off guard as it was being spun around, hitting the walls and waterfall each time considering the length of Sceptile's vines.

Each time Blaziken hit the walls and went through the waterfall, not only was it being weakened but it was taking damage via wall damage. A great display of Applejack and Sceptile using the environment to their advantage.

But Blaziken wasn't having any of this. With its eyes flashing red, the Blaze Pokemon slammed its foot on the ground, crashing through it which caused Sceptile's vines to stop moving as the Forest Pokemon almost tripped because of the sudden halt.

"T-Tile?!"

"Blaziken!" Blaziken then used Blaze Kick, setting its legs on fire as it burned away the vines from its legs, but not its neck and arms. Luckily, it had a response to that as it ignited its wrists, getting rid of the other vines. The neck was still restrained but Blaziken quickly freed itself by kicking up at the vine with Blaze Kick.

Blaziken was now free as he backflipped out of the waterfall to get some space and breathing time too. The Blaze Pokemon was still wet and weakened from interacting with the waterfall as Applejack's plan to weaken it that way still worked out for her, even if Blaziken broke free.

"Sceptile, use Double Team multiple times!"

"Scep-Scep-Scep-Scep-Scep!" Out of the waterfall, hundreds of Sceptile clones came jumping out, immediately surrounding Blaziken. This time, there were more clones than usual. Hundreds after all. Blaziken, now in a fairly weakened state because of the water, would have to really keep its guard up now.

Applejack and Sceptile had quickly turned the tables on the Blaze Pokemon, slowly showing that they might be worthy of the Mega Stone, depending on how this goes.

"Get ready Blaziken!" Applejack smirked. "That Mega Stone's as good as ours!"

"Sceptile!"

"Blaziken..."

Rarity's battle.

Meanwhile, with Rarity, Ampharos and Lopunny, Steelix was already there instead of making an entrance. Its large imposing body stood before the trio as the Iron Snake Pokemon growled at them. There, the Mega Stones laid behind it, guarded.

"Steelix...!"

"Oh my." Rarity scrunched her face. "Alright. I trust you Ampharos. And Lopunny..."

"Lo?"

"I know we haven't really interacted as much ever since I caught you. But, I can also trust you as well, can I?"

"Punny." Lopunny turned to face Rarity as she gave a nod of confidence. After all, she was the one who made Lopunny snap out of her rampage during the earlier parts of the Dynamax Crisis. She owed her.

"Marvelous. Ampharos. The only way you can truly affect Steelix is by using Static. It will still paralyze it even if it's a Ground-Type. Understood?"

"Ampharos!" Ampharos nodded as he lit his body up, making sure that his friends could see in the dark cave when battling as they prepared themselves. Ampharos couldn't really do much against Steelix, but even with Steelix's immunity, there were others ways to succeed over a massive disadvantage.

"Steelix!" For once, the opposing Pokemon guarding the Mega Stones had approached its opponents instead of waiting for them to attack. Steelix charged in with Dragon Tail being shown on its tail.

"Here it comes! Lopunny! High Jump Kick! Ampharos, Dragon Pulse!"

"Lo!" The Rabbit Pokemon poured all of her power into her legs, hopping off the ground as her legs and knees were glowing. Since Lopunny was standing in the front before Ampharos, she immediately jumped over Steelix, avoiding Dragon Tail when it was swung at her.

"Lix?!"

"Punny!" Lopunny then did a frontflip in the air, smashing her foot onto Steelix's head and already dealing super-effective damage.

"Steel!"

"Ampha...Ros!" Ampharos followed up while Steelix had been stunned by that High Jump kick to the head. While his attack wasn't as effective, he still made sure to put some extra power behind it as a dragon-shaped shockwave came flying out of his mouth.

"Steelix?" Steelix had been hit yet again with Dragon Pulse connecting as Lopunny backflipped away from Steelix to avoid taking damage from the explosion of Dragon Pulse.

"Lopun."

"Excellent!"

"Steelix!" Steelix roared as it separated the smoke. Having high defence, even super-effective moves wouldn't do much to it. The Iron Snake Pokemon then decided to respond to their attacks by using the move Earthquake.

Steelix's tail lit up as it smashed it onto the ground, setting off an earthquake. The entire cave was trembling because of this as white shockwaves were coming out, heading straight towards the two Pokemon.

"Earthquake! As to be expected! Lopunny! Toss Ampharos up and use Bounce!"

"Punny!" Lopunny, who was more of a speed expert, got behind her teammate as she used her ears to hold Ampharos instead of her arms. As Lopunny's arms were wrapped around Ampharos, the Rabbit Pokemon tossed the Light Pokemon into the air as she also used Bounce to follow him, avoiding the shockwaves of Earthquake.

"Steel!" Steelix quickly looked up, flashing its eyes at the duo. It had a response to them being in the air in the form of Stone Edge as multiple glowing crystals surrounded its body.

The crystals were sent flying towards Ampharos and Lopunny as Steelix was going to knock them clean out of the sky and have them fall next to it.

"Kick them back!"

"Lopunny!" Lopunny used her powerful legs to kick some of the crystals right back at Steelix, delivering damage in the form of its own attack.

"Lix!"

"Dragon Pulse from above!"

"Ros!" While in the air, Ampharos let out a short burst Dragon Pulse that came rocketing down. The Dragon Pulse broke through some of the crystals as the attack collided with Steelix's head.

"Steel!"

"Unfortunately, you're too slow, Steelix! High Jump Kick head-on!"

"Lopunny!" While falling and having little airtime, Lopunny gathered her strength in her knees as she smashed her knee against Steelix's head, creating a powerful shockwave that even shattered some of the walls.

"Steelix!" Steelix definitely felt that one as the Iron Snake Pokemon was almost knocked off balance because of the High Jump Kick to the head.

Ampharos and Lopunny landed down safely without taking any damage so far. Rarity was showing the most promise out of all her friends so far. She certainly had an edge because she could use two Pokemon that can Mega Evolve. Not only that, but Rarity, despite not looking like it, is an exceptional Pokemon battler, possibly on the level of a Gym Leader or more.

However, Steelix is a Steel-Type Pokemon at the end of the day, and the 5th most defensive Pokemon in the world. So even after all that High Jump Kick, it was still standing.

"Steelix...!"

"Slow but durable..." Rarity kissed her teeth. "Exactly like a Steel-Type Pokemon."

Steelix, impressed by how effectively Rarity was battling, decided to really amp things up. The next move Steelix had at its disposal was Gyro Ball. A move that benefits Steelix to an astronomical degree.

Because, the slower the user is compared to the opposing Pokemon, the greater the move’s power. Steelix's spikes started to glow light blue as the Iron Snake Pokemon spun around, with a light-blue ring surrounding it.

Steelix then started to approach Lopunny and Ampharos with a ton of destructive power being brought along with it as the ground was slowly being shattered by Steelix's movement with Gyro Ball.

"Lopunny! Use Bounce to jump over Steelix! Ampharos! Stay where you are!"

"Lopunny!" Lopunny didn't approach Steelix. Instead, she jumped over it, leaping great distances in a single bound. However, Ampharos had to stay.

Thankfully, since Ampharos is an Electric-Type, Steel moves aren't a problem for him. Plus, Rarity was hoping for Steelix to make direct contact with Ampharos for one reason. Static.

"Pharos!" Ampharos still had to keep his guard up, even with his Type Resistance. The Light Pokemon put his chest up as he closed his eyes.

"Steelix!" The Iron Snake Pokemon was originally aiming for Lopunny but ended up smashing into Ampharos instead. Upon contact, Ampharos's body shuddered from Steelix hitting him as he stood his ground.

And that's when Rarity's plan came into effect. Once Steelix connected with Ampharos, the Light Pokemon's ability kicked in. The only way for Ground-Type Pokemon to be paralyzed by electricity, Static, had just made its entrance.

"S-Steelix?!" Steelix's eyes widened as it just realized that Static had come through. As if it already wasn't slow enough, now the paralysis effect just hindered Steelix even more.

"Now! Dragon Pulse and High Jump Kick, go!"

At the same time, both Pokemon initiated their attacks on two different sides. Ampharos held his breath in while Lopunny jumped towards Steelix with her knee glowing.

Lopunny bolted off the ground while Ampharos released Dragon Pulse from his mouth, point-blank at Steelix's body. And in perfect unison, the two of them connected their attacks onto Steelix.

From how hard both attacks were, it looked like that would be the end of Steelix and Rarity would've been the first to accomplish the trail and achieve the two Mega Stones.

If only it were that easy.

Because after being hit by those two attacks, within the heavy smoke, Steelix used Dragon Tail, using its snake-like body to spin around as it was able to hit both Ampharos and Lopunny at the same time, sending them both flying.

"Ampha!" Ampharos went flying past Rarity, almost getting sent out of the cave.

"Lopun!" As for Lopunny, she hit the walls of the cave hard, falling on the ground with an even harder impact.

"Ah! Lopunny! Ampharos!" Rarity gasped.

"Steelix!" It was like Steelix had taken no damage whatsoever as it could still carry on. However, Ampharos's Static and Lopunny's High Jump Kicks were still effective in a way. Thanks to Static, Steelix's focus could be thrown off. And as for High Jump Kick, it was the best move in this situation.

The Iron Snake Pokemon turned around to face Lopunny who was slowly getting up from the ground. Steelix approached Lopunny by slithering straight towards her.

"L-Lopun?!"

"Quick, Lopunny! Get out of there with Bounce!"

"P-Punny!" Lopunny groaned as she stood on one knee.

"Steelix!" Steelix twitched with electricity surrounding its body. But it mustered up enough strength to use a move. And that move was Earthquake. By smashing its tail into the ground, Steelix sent the sheer power of Earthquake through the cave as white shockwaves were rapidly approaching Lopunny.

"Lo-Lopun?" Lopunny's eyes widened as she saw the white shockwaves coming towards her. She couldn't afford to let herself lose here after all the damage she had done and the effort put in.

With extra strength, Lopunny was able to pull off Bounce, however, since it was a bit slower this time, a bit of the shockwave ended up grazing Lopunny's leg, causing the Rabbit Pokemon to lose her balance in the air as she tumbled down afterwards.

"Punny!" Now it seemed that Steelix was turning the tables on Rarity. What seemed to be possibly the quickest and easiest Mega Stone Trial, quickly shifted into being like Twilight's trial. Difficult and a true test of skill for trainer and Pokemon.

"A-Ampharos...!" Ampharos got up from the ground as he wasn't out yet. Lopunny was also getting back up as she could still continue, even after hitting the ground hard twice now and having her leg hit by Earthquake.

"L-Lopunny!"

"Steelix turned to face its opponents with a devious grin and eyes so sharp they could pierce through anything, much like the Steel-Typing itself.

"Are you two alright?"

"Ampharos!"

"Lopunny!"

"That's what I like to see and hear." Rarity nodded. "We haven't lost yet. Those stones are ours!"

"Lix...!" Steelix hissed.

"And you won't stop us from obtaining it Steelix!" Rarity pointed her hoof at the Iron Snake Pokemon. "I have family and friends I need to protect from threats far greater than anypony could imagine. I need to get stronger, no matter what! Understand?!"

"Steel!"

"We're finishing this immediately! Lopunny! Rush in with Agility into High Jump Kick repeatedly! Ampharos! Assist her from afar with Dragon Pulse at once!"

"Lopunn!" With a white and purple aura surrounding her, Lopunny hopped towards the Steel-Ground-Type with her speed increasing as well as a white glow forming on her knees and legs.

"Ampha!" Ampharos was charging up Dragon Pulse for a longer period of time. This time, he was going to make sure that it really made an impact as he held his breath in.

"Steelix!" Steelix responded with Dragon Tail as it stayed in one spot instead of moving. The paralysis effect was still present, so the best Steelix can do is just stay there and hold its ground.

"Lopun!" The Rabbit Pokemon, now with increased speed, sent her knee towards Steelix while the Iron Snake Pokemon countered by swinging its tail.

Both Lopunny and Steelix clashed their moves against each other with Lopunny trying to drive her knee through Steelix's Dragon Tail. But she couldn't as the two of them separated from each other. Afterwards, they started going back and forth with Lopunny now using kicks instead of knees this time. With her destructive legs and Steelix's heavy tail, both were trying to 1UP each other with the Rabbit Pokemon continuously kicking Steelix's tail, slowly shattering the ground beneath them.

And while those two go at in the foreground, Ampharos was close to finishing his strongest Dragon Pulse yet as his face was turning blue.

"Hold it Ampharos..." Rarity let Ampharos charge up the attack a bit longer.

"Pun!" Lopunny managed to juke Steelix out by jumping on its tail instead of striking it.

"Lix?!"

"Lopunny!" Lopunny then jumped off Steelix's tail, dive-kicking the Iron Snake Pokemon in the face, dealing super-effective damage. But Lopunny didn't stop there. She then began to repeatedly kick Steelix in the face with High Jump Kick, not allowing the Steel-Ground-Type to even have a chance to breathe. "Pun! Pun! Lopun!"

"Steel! Steel! Steel!" Steelix's face was getting punished as it was finally showing great signs of weakness. But even Steelix was just as persistent as its opposing Pokemon. And it showed this by biting onto Lopunny's leg the moment she went in for another kick.

"L-Lopunn?!" Lopunny screamed after being bit. Now, her foot was stuck thanks to Steelix's teeth.

"Steelix!" Steelix then swung Lopunny up and down, smashing the Rabbit Pokemon onto the ground.

"P-Punny!" Lopunny's eyes widened after being slammed down. And Steelix continued the cycle until there was enough damage dealt to the Normal-Type.

"Hold...!"

"A-Ampharos...!" Ampharos felt like he was going to either pass out or explode if he didn't unleash Dragon Pulse as a draconic aura surrounded his body.

"L-Lopunny!" Lopunny, not wanting to faint yet, used High Jump Kick with her other leg by smashing it onto Steelix's teeth.

"S-Steel!" Parts of Steelix's teeth had been shattered, causing the Iron Snake Pokemon to lose its grip on Lopunny. And that's what Lopunny needed as Steelix's remaining teeth fell to the ground. Now Steelix had unorganized teeth.

"Pun!" Lopunny quickly used Agility to hop back as Rarity found an opportunity at last.

"NOW! Dragon Pulse at full force!"

"Pha!" Relieved that he could finally initiate the attack, Ampharos fired a multicoloured dragon-shaped energy from his mouth, larger than any other Dragon Pulse that he has ever created before.

It was so large that it took up most of the cave and even ripped the ground in half. The dragon was even roaring, showing just how much power had been laid out. This was the strongest Dragon Pulse from Ampharos yet.

"S-Steelix?!" And Steelix couldn't do anything to stop this behemoth of an attack. Thus, it had been hit. A mighty and fierce explosion of draconic energy formed afterwards with a magnitude and force so great that it even pushed Rarity, Ampharos and Lopunny back.

The cameras inside the cave were almost hit by the explosion, but they were thankfully untouched and unscathed. The same couldn't be said for the ground and Steelix.

Now that it was split in half, there was a fairly large gap in the middle. Thankfully, it didn't lead to a deep abyss or anything like that.

As for Steelix, once the smoke cleared, lo and behold, at long last, the Iron Snake Pokemon had fainted.

"S-Steelix..."

"Yes! Victory!" Rarity got up as she immediately jumped for joy, revelling in her triumphant victory alongside her partners.

"Ampharos!"

"Lopunny!"

"You two are absolutely stunning and amazing!" Rarity pulled her Pokemon in, celebrating with them via a hug. Rarity and her Pokemon were the first to complete the trial.

"Yes! Nice, Rarity!" Ash cheered.

"Pika-Pikachu!"

"First one of the day!" Pinkie Pie waved a Rarity flag around along with Pichu.

"Pichu-Pi!"

"Oh thank goodness..." Fluttershy sighed as she laid on Audino's stomach.

"A great fashionista, actress and a battler as well. Now that's having true versatility." The lady nodded.

"Lix." Steelix knew that it had been defeated as it stood back up. The Iron Snake Pokemon bowed its head to Rarity and her Pokemon accepting that they are indeed worthy battlers and do share a strong bond with each other.

Because of her victory, Steelix knew that it had to give them the stones. The Iron Snake Pokemon turned around to face the wall of Mega Stones as it looked at the only two stones that mattered. The Ampharosite and the Lopunnite.

By using Stone Edge, Steelix created two crystals, shooting them at the two Mega Stones, knocking them off the wall and destroying the amber that held them.

"Ah!" Rarity dashed over, gazing at the Mega Stones. She was able to witness the Ampharosite, Lopunnite and their keystones that the trainer uses. With a wide smile, Rarity used her magic to pick up each of the stones. "Many thanks, Steelix. And we're terribly sorry for your teeth."

"Lopunny." Lopunny apologized for breaking Steelix's teeth.

"Steelix."

The first to achieve her Mega Stones and complete the trial was Rarity and her two Pokemon as they had left the cave, returning to the camp with proud smiles on their faces.

However, her friends were the only ones left now and they were either in the midst of a difficult battle or were gradually approaching their respective caves.

The battle for the Mega Stones wasn't over yet. In fact, it was only just beginning as the journey continues.

Chapter 375 End.

Author's Note:

Rarity does hold a ton of potential as a Pokemon Trainer. More than you think.
