Body-Shattering Freedom
Kanto. Pallet Town.
Cosmos was about to begin her malice escapades on Delia Ketchum, who was still strapped to a Dynasite table. Her mind had been invaded as she was shown horrific things involving her son that she couldn't bear to watch. Now, Cosmos wasn't to try all of those against her just to quell her thirst for malice which she had been missing for so long.
"Now...how about we try the wax first? That's a good starting point." The miniature Cosmos' all laughed before dangling their claws over Delia's head, generating wax.
Delia turned her head, trying to close her eyes, however, Cosmos still kept them open thanks to her magic as all she could do now was brace herself. Mr Mime was restrained by the table as well, trying desperately to break free. It tried using Psychic via its eyes as the chains of Dynasite were starting to rumble. As these were weaker variants of it, any Pokemon move could affect them. However, Mr Mime wasn't fast enough.
Thankfully, it wouldn't be him that breaks through it. Bursting through the windows with a blazing fury was none other than Infernape.
"Infernape!" Infernape had used Mach Punch as he was joined by Staraptor, Bayleef, Bulbasaur and Snivy.
"What the?! What now?!" Cosmos' roared as the flying rubble and glass had hit her miniature variations, knocking them over. Infernape and the others already knew to come here while the rest of their teammates handle things back at the lab and the rest of Pallet Town.
"Bulbasaur! Everyone!" Delia was beyond happy to see them along with Mr Mime, who had managed to break off one of the chains of Dynasaite. He wouldn't have to break the other one as along came Infernape, using Mach Punch once more.
"Infernape!" The Fire-Fighting-Type blitzed right past both Mr Mime and Delia's tables, shattering them in the blink of an eye. The Dynasite tables broke apart as swiftly as Infernape had passed them. No one else aside from Staraptor had seen it happen.
"Oh my!" Delia gasped before dropping to the floor.
"ACCURSED POKEMON!" All of the small Cosmos' roared with high-pitched voices. She was frankly tired of them despite controlling them as well. These Strange and Wonderful Creatures known as Pocket Monsters or Pokemon for short are a lot like the attack Double-Edge. Beneficial on one side but can have a powerful drawback on the other side.
"Bay-Bay!" Bayleef mainly came here for Ash. She was worried that Ash had been attacked here, but there was no sign of him. "Bay..."
"Sni!" Snivy whacked Bayleef on the head, telling her to put that aside from now. Snivy frankly had enough of Bayleef putting Ash over everyone else that would be close and dear to her.
"Bay..."
"It's great that you're here," Delia said to Infernape, Staraptor and the two Grass-Types. "I'm not quite sure what's going on, but I can count on all of you to help. Especially against someone who would dare show me...that."
"I had way worse images in mind." Cosmos replied. "If you'd like, I can show you. After I finish with these annoying creatures and then continue having my fun with you. And your son too, of course. Can't forget him."
"Bay...!" Bayleef's expression turned from sad to furious. The moment Ash was brought up in the conversation, she had a burning spirit inside of her that was as hot as Infernape's flames. Now, she had a great reason to lash out at Cosmos'. "Bay! Bay-Bay!"
"Snivy..." Snivy simply shook her head, realizing there was no dealing with Bayleef's obsession over Ash. She just had to go with it. But, this boiling rage could be a huge benefactor so Snivy didn't see it as all bad. At least in this instance as Delia, Mr Mime and Ash's Pokemon faced off against the miniature Cosmos with the Ketchum Household.
Equestria. PokePark. Cove Area. Nightfall.
"Okay! I think that's everyone!" Ash was currently at PokePark, gathering as many Pokemon as he could to assist his friends in the Cosmos' predicament. This entire time, he's been bringing as many as he could over to Ponyville to assist in having superior numbers to Cosmos. "I can't stay here for long. I gotta help every out. Are you ready, Pikachu?"
"Pikachu!"
"We'll have to get all of them in one go with Aura!" Ash summoned Sir Aaron's staff while running off. "That way, we can free them from Cosmos. Let's make it count."
Ash was going for one big hurrah. Of course, this threatened him as well as the threat of Delayed Aura Ataxia still existed to this day. However, he's been taking risks with it frequently and as always, he's managed to overcome them. With one hand grabbing the staff and another grabbing a Poke Ball that had Lucario inside, Ash was more than ready.
Upon leaving PokePark and entering Twilight's lab, Ash had noticed that nightfall had arrived. But it was hard to see the moon as Cosmos' Chaos Storm covered it and a semblance of light.
"Boy. Now might be a good time to stop by your world. Remember what I said about that Z-Ring of yours/" Sombra appeared as a shadow once more, speaking to Ash.
"I hear ya. But I gotta help everyone else before that happens." Ash would head for the Z-Ring later. Right now, he had a town to help out as he rushed out of Twilight's lab alongside the Pokemon from PokePark.
"Hm. In that case...allow me to try something. If everything goes south, then I will use my magic to intervene."
"Really? What can you do, Sombra?" Ash asked.
"That Cosmos' believes she's doing mind control. In reality, she's merely possessing bodies. Might as well show her how it's done."
"Uh...Are we sure about that?" Ash chuckled, unsure if Sombra's method was better than Cosmos'. If anything, it sounded equally as bad.
"I'm just saying." Sombra shrugged. "If it comes down to it. But hurry up and use that Aura of yours before the worst comes."
"You got it!"
Twilight's Castle.
Back at the castle, Cosmos had received the Connection Spell thanks to Cold Colt pulling it off successfully. Now, every single body that she has possessed would most certainly feel whatever comes next in unison, much to the dismay of Cosmos.
"Y-You may have pulled the spell off successfully, but don't think I'll let you stop me from using these bodies," Cosmos shouted through the body of Roxie.
"Yeah, but can you beat out Arceus' light?" Sweetie Belle held out Phione who also had the power to negate Cosmos' control thanks to the blessing of Arceus.
"As if I'd let that happen!" Cosmos growled as she used all of the bodies that she controlled to suddenly fly. All of them within Ponyville had taken flight, sprouting out vampire wings in the process. "I'll-" Just as she spoke, Cosmos felt a powerful twitch through her body that ended up affecting the others.
The effect of the spell was already taking place swimmingly well. Somewhere out there, Cosmos was being harmed due to the bodies she took control of.
"Looks like it works like a charm even outside of Ponyville." Applejack smiled after seeing Cosmos and every possessed body flinch and twitch. "You'd better go for it while you've got all these chances Phione."
"You heard her. Go for it!" Sweetie Belle encouraged Phione.
"Phione!" The Water-Type jumped out of Sweetie Belle's hooves before radiating Arceus' light once more. However, Cosmos had used all of these bodies to teleport herself into the air, gaining some distance from Phione once she lunged her way. Phione had missed only to be caught later by Serperior's vines.
"Serperior!" After catching Phione, Serperior had then used her vines to launch the Sea Drifter Pokemon up.
"Get back!" Roaring with anger and fear in her voice, Cosmos had caused a powerful gust of wind with all of these possessed bodies that forced Phione away. The force of this wind was strong enough to push everyone else inside of this room away due to the combined might. They all closed their eyes as some of them had been picked up from the ground.
"Phi-Phi!" Phione cried out after being blown away.
"Sceptile!" Sceptile managed to catch her safely, however, using his vines to do so. After blowing everyone away, Cosmos and all of her controlled bodies had left Twilight's Castle, giving themselves extra space instead of having to limit themselves to the castle's interior, despite how damaged it was.
"Phione!" Phione ordered Sceptile and the others to do everything in their power to get her towards Cosmos. Any possessed body would do. All she needed was a way to let Arceus' light permeate through her long enough.
"Tile!" Sceptile nodded in understanding before looking at Applejack.
"I hear ya, partner! Frenzy Plant!"
"Scep...Tile!" Sceptile used his massive roots. By stomping on the ground, he summoned giant roots that were large enough to wrap around Twilight's Castle, shooting them into the air.
"Phione!" Phione then used these roots and their colossal heights to reach Cosmos and the others. For the first time, Cosmos chose to flee. Something she hated doing. But she wouldn't go down without a fight as she used her magic to set the roots on fire.
"Prinplup, Brine!" Sweetie Belle ordered her Prinplup.
"Horsea, go for Bubble Beam!" So did Scootaloo to her Horsea
"Azumarill, Hydro Pump!" And finally BonBon with her Azumarill. Two blasts of water along with a stream of bubbles had been unleashed, flying together. These had helped Phione, putting out the flames before they could burn the roots away. Phione used Water Pulse, helping herself to put out the flames.
"Darn it all!" Cosmos bellowed raising her arm before summoning the chaos lightning from above. She shot it down, targeting Twilight's Castle.
"Oh! Lanturn! Eat up!" However, Ms Cherilee had a Pokemon for that. Her Lanturn.
"Lanturn!" Lanturn faced the lightning bolt itself, lunging itself at it. The bolt had struck the Light Pokemon, but not a single trace of damage had been done to it, much to the shock of Cosmos. Instead, Lanturn had absorbed it.
"What?!" Cosmos gasped.
"Volt Absorb. It absorbs all electricity if you must know." Ms Cheerilee said as Lanturn had powered itself up thanks to the chaotic lightning it absorbed. It certainly felt different from regular lightning. "And in return, the user heals up."
"Lan-Lan!"
"These accursed Pokemon...!" Cosmo growled before then choosing to use the clouds. She used her magic to bring over some clouds, multiple of them before then using her magic to manipulate them. The clouds had become hard as rocks before being thrown at the residents of Ponyville.
"Phi!" Phione gasped as not only were the clouds heavy and solid, but they still shot out lightning, threatening to shock her.
"Bi...Sharp!" But along came both Bisharp and Dewott, using Night Slash and Razor Slash to cut these clouds in half. Now that they were solid, it gave them both an excuse to slash the clouds. They narrowly saved Phione as Bisharp's body conducted the electricity. However, Dewott ended up shocking himself in the process once the chaotic lightning touched him.
"D-Dewott!" A worthy risk as Phione was safe. As long as she was still standing and had the light of Arceus ready to free everyone, that was all that mattered. Cosmos kept using the clouds as she had a massive array to choose from.
All of these clouds started raining down, bombarding Twilight's Castle as well as the surrounding area where Goh and Hollow were. Cosmos found a way to retaliate viciously and tip the odds in her favour. Everyone backed away and started running from these destructive clouds as they first crashed into something and then unleashed a devastating flare of electricity.
Lanturn absorbed more of it but it certainly couldn't absorb a hit from these solid clouds as it had also backed away. Cosmos laughed, managing to keep herself away from Arceus' light for the time being.
"She knows how to make things easier for her, that's for sure." Applejack held onto her hat whilst running off. Everyone could see that Twilight's castle was no longer safe to be in. Immediately, they all ran out of it to avoid being crushed by the continuous falling rubble.
"What's happening there?!" Goh exclaimed.
"Nevermind that," Hollow replied. "So as long as we keep holding Cosmos back and give them all some time, we'll be smooth sailing later on. At least...I hope it doesn't go on for too long."
"Almost had me there!" Cosmos spoke within the skies, nervously laughing. The clouds kept dropping as they started threatening the other buildings in Ponyville with the lightning piercing through the windows, doors, roofs etc.
The storm of chaos started swirling with more and more miniature Cosmos' raining down. No matter what, she had numbers to constantly 1UP everyone. With more of her miniature selves dropping above, flooding Ponyville, it seemed like this could potentially go on for hours so as long as Cosmos always had a way to weasel out of a rough spot.
However, once more, those numbers would be countered. Over the horizon, the other Pokemon from PokePark had been brought over. And joining them were none other than Ash and Pikachu, who were right behind them.
"Made it in time! I think!" Ash cried out as all of the Pokemon went ahead of him.
"Pikachu!"
"More?" Cosmos scoffed. "Then I'll just add to the pile as well. I can keep doing it for as long as I can!"
"Ash! There you are!" Goh looked up to see Ash arriving. "How come you're so late nowadays?"
"My bad!" Ash cried out before stopping in his tracks, meeting eyes with Cosmos for the first time. Cosmos immediately recognized him as the boy in the picture back at Delia's home. "Those eyes... so those are Cosmos'?"
"Pikachu..."
"Where's Fluttershy? Is she not with you guys?" Ash asked.
"Fluttershy's occupied with those smaller Cosmos'. That's her true form, apparently." Hollow pointed at the smaller variations of Cosmos. "Her and the Fairy-Types might not make it in time. But as long as they're keeping the other Cosmos' back then..."
"Ash!" Applejack cried out after leaving Twilight's Castle. The castle itself was almost n its last legs. It was still standing but any further damage could signal the end of it for sure. "Now's a good time to use your Aura!"
"I've used the Connection Spell to connect every possessed body of Cosmos!" Cold Colt shouted. "All of them should feel what comes next!"
"I gotcha!" Ash understood clearly. He wasted no time as he held the staff with both his hands.
"Aura?" Cosmos uttered in the midst of this scuffle, remembering what Aura was. The one force of power that could break Dynasite. She already knew how powerful it was and the way Applejack mentioned Aura with just that one sentence was already giving her a sense of imminent defeat.
Cosmos couldn't let that happen. She was getting somewhere and her progress wouldn't be bogged down or completely wiped out by this point.
"Gonna make this count!" Ash then focused his Aura on the staff as Cosmos focused all of her attention on Ash next. From right underneath him, she had made a sinkhole to try and sink him straight to the ground. "Eh?"
"Sink! Sink to the ground below!" Cosmos bellowed as the sinkhole was starting to pull everyone else in due to its massive radius. Various Pokemon that were fending off Cosmos had been interrupted, feeling their bodies gravitate to the sinkhole. The skies rumbled with the chaotic clouds swirling downwards, threatening to either crush or twist its targets while also bursting with electricity.
A chaotic tornado had been made with the buildings being affected by it. This immense pressure of wind had enough power to start ripping them from the ground.
"As if! Frenzy Plant!"
"Sceptile!" Mega Sceptile had used Frenzy Plant once more, summoning those giant roots as always. This time, the roots emerged from the sinkhole, immediately wrapping around Ash and Pikachu. They had enough strength to do so while also wrapping around everyone else who were being pulled in.
"Thanks, AJ!" Ash said before looking at Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu nodded in understanding, putting his hand in Ash's pocket. Out of the pocket, Pikachu grabbed one Poke Ball before then throwing it himself. And out of it came Lucario.
"Lucario!"
"Lucario! Use Aura Sphere on those skies!"
"Rrr...!" Lucario put his hands together, landing on the roots of Frenzy Plant before summoning a sphere of concentrated Aura. "Ca!" Lucario then unleashed Aura Sphere as it travelled through the sparks, debris, rubble and more that had appeared due to this chaotic debacle. Aura Sphere had crashed into the Chaos Tornado as both attacks had cancelled each other out.
Cosmos snarled before thinking of launching everyone else at Ash. But, she then realized that would be too risky as Ash could end up affecting one of them and put an end to this body possession. Despite her tilting the scales, the residents of Ponyville and the Pokemon World managed to tilt them the other way and apply pressure. Cosmos backed away with all of her possessed bodies, making sure to only attack from a far distance.
She had every one of her controlled bodies focusing on using only ranged Pokemon attacked and magic from afar, making sure that not a soul would get close. Ash stood on top of the roots before running up them. Mega Sceptile continued to pour more Infinity Energy into this attack, extending the roots past their natural limit.
"Give Ash some help! Golett! Shadow Punch!" Applejack ordered her 9 Golett.
"Golett!" The 9 Golett had used Shadow Punch, sending long shadow arms that rushed to Ash's aid. But two of these arms ended up grabbing Phione, who was another strong contender for breaking the control. They brought Phione up to where Ash was, placing the Water-Type on her head.
"Hey, Phione!" Ash greeted.
"Pikachu!"
"Phione!"
"Get back!" Cosmos shouted, using her voice to create a powerful shockwave. This shockwave held Ash, Pikachu, Lucario and Phione back. With multiple bodies using this powerful voice, it launched Ash and the others far back.
"Catch them with your thorns!" Roseluck shouted out.
"Roserade!" Roseluck's Roserade ended up coming to Ash's rescue, using her thorns to grab the Champion of Alola and the others, preventing them from taking a hard fall.
"Go, Rapidash!" Scootaloo chimed in, sending another one of her Pokemon to help out. This time, it was her Rapidash who emerged into the fray.
"Rapidash!"
"Let Rapidash take Ash there! He's the fastest one here!" Scootaloo suggested as Roserade used her thorns to place Ash and the others onto the back of Rapidash. The Fire Horse Pokemon would be the one to carry them there as the roots from Frenzy Plant were still active. "Use Flame Charge! Over and over again!"
"Rapidash!" Rapidash ignited his body with a blazing aura of fire, however, his flames did not harm them as they were seen as friends. Rapidash then took off running at blitzing speeds.
"Since you like roots so much, how about this?!" Cosmos retaliated against Sceptile's Frenzy Plant, using roots as well. But these roots came from the skies, bursting through the Chaotic clouds with an eerie and crooked black appearance as they moved with the ferocity of a dragon. The roots smashed into the ground, flailing around with intensity as if it were a whip.
Everyone backed away as these black roots had cleaved the ground as well as smashed against the roots of Sceptile's Frenzy Plant, causing them to start breaking apart.
Rapidash maintained his balance despite the roots being attacked. Sceptile continued to extend them, pushing the strength of his Mega Evolution to the absolute top. More of these roots appeared, going for everyone else in the process with mass numbers.
"Protect!" Blocking those roots from harming others was none other than a shield. A shield that had been made by the Hearing Pokemon, Audino. And if Audino was here, that meant that Fluttershy was here. And she certainly was, along with the Pokemon she brought along with her.
"Audino!" Audino pushed back the roots, pulling off a successful Protect as she was in her Mega Evolution state.
"Fluttershy!" Ash turned around, noticing that the pegasi along with the Fairy Pokemon and some of the other Pokemon from the Pokemon House had appeared.
"Sorry, I'm late! It was just so much trouble getting here!" Fluttershy apologized.
"You...!" Cosmos and her personal disdain towards Fluttershy was showing once more. Once the black roots failed, Cosmos kept trying everything she could with her limited magic, altering space once more. She pulled what she could from the Malice Dimension as these terrifying wisp-like energies came flying out with what seemed to be sharp fangs around them.
They bit away at the roots of Frenzy Plant at ludicrous speeds while also tackling them. Despite the limited magic so far, there was nothing that Cosmos couldn't do. Which is exactly why Ash and everyone knew she needed to be stopped before her true form could be reborn.
"Lucario! Aura Sphere! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika...Chuu!" Pikachu leapt off Ash's shoulder, sparking his body with electricity as Lucario joined him in the air with Aura Sphere already active. Out of Pikachu, 100,000 volts were thrown, flying alongside the sphere of Aura. These two attacks met with the wisps, clashing with them. Lucario's Aura Sphere managed to beat out the wisp before flying towards Cosmos. Another wisp got in the way, blocking Lucario's Aura Sphere from getting any closer. The black roots had been used once more, emerging from the ground this time.
"Houndoom! Overheat!" Hollow commanded.
"Cinderace, Pyro Ball!" So did Goh. Both their Fire-Types had burnt away these black roots with a stream of fire and a fireball respectively. Houndoom's fire was especially effective as it burned with brutal intensity, wiping the roots out of existence.
"Rapidash!" Rapidash kept using Flame Charge in short bursts, increasing his speed gradually. And it was paying off. Right now, he was the fastest Pokemon here. However, even Sceptile was starting to reach his limit.
"S-Sceptile...!"
"Hang in there, Sceptile!" Applejack cheered her partner on, hoping he could keep it up until the roots were high enough.
"Audino." Thankfully, Audino was here. She had used Heal Pulse, covering Sceptile's body in a calming and relaxing green veil. Heal Pulse was just what Sceptile needed.
"Scep? Sceptile!" Sceptile felt refreshed. Before, he was waiting and now he was eager to keep going on. Applejack looked at Fluttershy who gave her a reassuring smile, letting her know that they were still in this. Another storm had come in the form of a flexible tornado that started zigzagging, moving in unpredictable patterns.
"Bisharp!" Bisharp cut through the rest of the incoming black roots and the wisps with Lilligant, Leavanny and Roserade all using Petal Blizzard. A massive storm of beautiful pink and green petals had been unleashed, pushing back against the ferocious chaos storm.
They managed to hold the storm back, however, it had diverged, splitting up before blowing away Roserade and the others right afterwards. "R-Roserade!"
"Roserade, no!" Roseluck cried out as she and many others had been carried away by the numerous storms.
"Rapidash!" Rapidash had reached his peak right about now, moving so fast that he ended up becoming a blur. Ash held onto his hat and Phione with Lucario and Pikachu gripping the staff so that it wouldn't fly off.
"Think you can stop me?! Your mother is currently with me, if you must know!" Cosmos resorted to a dirty tactic. Targeting family.
"Mom?!" That got Ash's attention. If his mother was involved, he would be all ears. Just what Cosmos wanted as she was already thinking of the horrible things she had planned for Delia after capturing her in her own home.
"That's right! I showed her some fun ways to torture someone and figured I'd try some of them on her...But some weird monkey, bird and other Pokemon are trying to ruin my fun. It doesn't matter though."
"Hm." Just then, Ash had smiled at that, catching Cosmos off guard. Ash knew which Pokemon fit those descriptions. At least, one of them. A bird could be any of his Flying Types and the rest were vague. "That just means mom's in good hands."
"Why you...!" Cosmos hated that Ash stayed optimistic. It frankly infuriated the Spirit of Malice as her rage correlated with the storm.
"Here we go." Ash was now closer to Cosmos than ever before. "Jump, Rapidash!"
"Rapidash!" The time was now. Rapidash had leapt off the roots at last and thanks to his powerful legs along with the speed he managed to build up, he got a colossal amount of air-time to the point where he was almost flying.
"Sceptile!" Sceptile could finally finish Frenzy Plant as Ash held the staff up high, still channelling all of his Aura into it. He never lost focus for a second as Lucario had connected with both the staff and Ash as well to tighten his focus. Cosmos sent a blaze of chaotic fire as her last attempt to fend Ash off.
"Now's our chance! All together now!" Fluttershy chimed in, seeing that this was the best time for all the Fairy-Types to assist Ash. "Use Hyper Beam!"
"Audino!" Mega Audino, Sylveon and the other Fairies used whatever attacks they had, sprinkling Fairy Magic into it. Audino had used Hyper Beam which had Fairy Magic inside of it, targeting the gigantic blaze of chaotic fire that came streaking down. The combined attacks filled with Fairy Magic managed to hold back the flames but just barely.
"Lucario! Phione! Now!" Ash exclaimed before finally releasing all of that Aura he had built up.
"Luca!"
"Phi!"
In unison and with the assistance of the Fairies, they managed to generate a massive flare of Aura and Light with the beautiful colours of Azure Blue and Solar Gold. Cosmos' eyes were graced and punished by these two majestic sparkles as their flare expanded in seconds.
"No..No..NOOO!" She screamed in the body of Roxie first before then screaming in Mayor Mare's body, Machamp's body and soon all of them. Not just here, but everywhere else. She used all of her magic to try and push this back, however, the two forces managed to push through. "I...won't give up control! I...won't!" She declared with her voice straining.
However, her sentence had been cut off as there was a giant flash of power in the sky, consuming her and all of the bodies she had controlled. The chaotic skies had been blown away, giving way to the beautiful night sky and the silver Moon. The light had come once more.
"Yes!" Ash cheered, pumping his fist into the air as Rapidash started freefalling. But thanks to his powerful legs, he would be fine upon landing. Ash was barely fine as using that much Aura almost caused him to pass out. His body twitched, however, when he gripped the staff, he managed to restrain himself from passing out.
As for Cosmos, once the flash had ended, all of the bodies she controlled started falling from the sky. They were both unconscious and unable to recover.
"Oh! Sceptile!"
"Scep!" Sceptile was already on it. Once again, Frenzy Plant had been used. For the last time. The roots had caught them all. Whether by them landing on them or being wrapped around them.
"Champ...Machamp." Machamp had been broken free of Cosmos' body possession as seen by how he was sleeping. Immediately after he was free, the Superpower Pokemon got into a comfortable passion, scratching his face. He was indeed back as well as everyone else.
"Worked like a charm." Cold Colt chuckled. "Got a bit close there though."
"We pulled it off, didn't we?" Fluttershy walked over. "That means the Pokemon that went over to the Pokemon House should be okay now. As well as the rest from Frenzy Forest."
"Syl! Sylveon!"
"Of course. Valerie too." Fluttershy patted Sylveon on the head as she wouldn't have to worry about her trainer anymore now that the plan was successful. Everyone else laughed while the rest of their friends and family sat and slept there. They deserved the rest as Roxie was holding Stoutland and Mayor Mare whilst sleeping.
However, one of them was awake. And that was Roxanne. For a moment, Cosmos' pink eyes were still there, but they were fading as Pikachu stood upright, being on full alert. "Pikachu!" His cry had soon alerted the rest.
"Kh...Stupid Aura...Stupid Fairy Magic...Stupid Arceus!" Cosmos growled with her control on Roxanne fading away. She banged on the ground with everyone looking down at her. However, despite being defeated her, Cosmos' smile had remained. "But...it's not over yet."
"Huh? How?" Goh uttered. "We beat you!"
"The vessel that I've been using from the start is still active..." The Spirit of Malice laughed, referring to Cynthia, who was the main vessel she pulled from. "Not only that...but this entire scuffle I've been having across the world so far...has only been a way to pass the time. In reality...the rest of the stars are still being sought out."
"Say what now?!" Ash leaned in.
"That's right...Those Rift Humans know of the future..." She coughed before continuing. "They know where the remaining Andalusian Stars are. This entire time...you've been wasting time. while I sent them both out to find the last three! Way to entertain a gal!"
"Oh, no-no-no-no-no!" Cold Colt cried out with rapid-fire words.
"Victory will still be mine now. I was one step ahead of you the entire time! And once my full body returns, I can continue my expansive reign and emerge as queen of not just one world...but multiple worlds and beyond! How's that?!" She laughed as she revealed herself to be one step ahead of them. This battle, while fierce, was only a time-waster at the end of the day.
"We'll stop you." But Ash said otherwise, keeping hope and optimism up. "We stopped you here and we'll do it again. Even if you get those final stars. Count on it."
"Pikachu."
"Kh...That positivity of yours gets on my nerves." Cosmos snarled at Ash. "If you think so...then I'll see you later, boy! This is not the end!" That was the last time Cosmos had used Roxanne's body. The pink glow had faded away as she had left the Rock-Type specialist's body. Roxanne then fell flat on the ground, passing out.
"Alright. We won here, but it's not over yet." Ash faced the rest of his friends. "The rest of our friends are out there. She still has Cynthia under her control and she's not gonna stop until she's back in full swing. Let's finish this while we have the chance and catch up soon."
"Cosmos said something about your mom. Doesn't that mean that the Pokemon World is in danger too?" Goh stepped up.
"Yeah...I'm heading back there to check up on mom and Mr Mime. You guys can all go ahead without me."
"Are you sure? You used a lot of Aura back there." A worried Fluttershy asked.
"Ah, I'll be fine. Just focus on getting to Rainbow Dash and everyone else, wherever they are." Ash made the staff of Sir Aaron disappear. "You've got a lot of Pokemon alongside to help. PokePark and the Pokemon House combined."
"He's right on that. We should be smooth sailing right now." Roseluck added. "We'll go to Canterlot to see what's happening there then."
"Sweet. I'm heading back home for a bit!" Ash and Pikachu immediately took off with Ash returning Lucario to his Poke Ball. "Good luck! I'll catch up with you guys!"
"Pika-Pika!"
"Let me and Audi heal you all up first before we head out," Fluttershy suggested. Before they could continue on their journey of stopping Cosmos, they would all need to heal. But it had to be fast as right now, Cosmos was one step ahead of them, using all of this time to search for the remaining three stars.
They stopped her once more, but yet again, the Spirit of Malice was persistent and stubborn as she was malicious as the journey continues.

Nice that they were to save more people from cosmos control. Hopefully they can rest up enough to save everyone else and of course Cynthia to. Cosmos always seem to be a step ahead and seems like she be even more closer to get her body back
