The Greatest Flash Fire

Equestria. A forest near the Shroomish Marshlands. Day.

At this moment, a furious wildfire was starting to eclipse Equestria. Flames were made by the six Celesteela after they took off from the land. Specifically, grass. But this was done by accident instead of on purpose. The Celesteela are unable to control the flames after all. They need it to take off.

Right now, North, South, East and West of Equestria were being ravaged by these increasing flames. There are those trying to put a stop to this. Mainly the Water-Type Pokemon considering their advantage over Fire. But it wasn't just them. Princess Cadence was also on the scene, having an idea herself to deal with this.

But at the moment, Ash, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Starlight and Goh have come across another victim of the flames. A nearby forest. In the distance, the Celesteela that they have met could be seen. Celesteela wished it could help, but if it even thought of taking off, it could cause more damage to the land.

Many Pokemon living in this forest were weak to Fire. None had any moves that could stop these furious flames from tearing through their home, as seen by Ash and the others.

"No Water-Types here. But we gotta try something! Pikachu, Lucario! Push it back with Thunderbolt and Aura Sphere!" Ash ordered.

"Pika...Chuuu!"

"Luca!" Both Pikachu and Lucario went first, unleashing 100,000 volts and an array of Aura Spheres onto the flames. Upon contact, the volts and spheres managed to either push back or blow away the flames. However, more work would be needed to prevent all of this.

"Let's see...Do I have any Water-Types?" Goh searched through his Poke Balls to see which Pokemon would be fit for the job. He then found the perfect one. "Aha! Go, Sobble!" By launching his Poke Ball, out came Sobble.

"Sobble."

"Use Water Gun!"

"Castform! Use Reflect-Type on Sobble and use Weather Ball! Braviary flap your wings with Superpower!" Rainbow Dash had her own idea. Braviary could push the flames away with a powerful wind pressure while Castform needed his Rainy Form for some progress.

"Cast!" The Weather Pokemon immediately looked at Sobble, covering him in an aurora colour. With that, he ended up mimicking Sobble's Typing, turning into a Water-Type. Or even better, his Rainy Form. But not before unleashing a pulse of water that had fought back against the flames.

After that, Castform then used Weather Ball, conjuring an orb of water. He then used this orb of water to fight back against the flames.

"Starlight. Let's see if we can get some of the Pokemon out of here." Twilight and Starlight would choose a different approach. Saving the Pokemon from harm. They ran off together, ready to stray them away from the flames while Ash, Goh and Rainbow Dash would handle the flames from advancing.

"Lombre!" A group of Lombre had used their Water-Type attacks to try and douse the flames. Unfortunately, there weren't that many of them. And they were the only Pokemon inhabiting this forest that had protection against Fire thanks to Primary Typing.

The flames grew strong enough to overpower even their Water-Type attacks, raging towards the few Lombre, forcing them to hop away. "Lom!"

Some Pokemon were hiding behind what they could. But it's not like that mattered. The flames would burn everything down eventually. A Tangrwoth was protecting the smaller Pokemon with its larger size, acting as a shield. But that wouldn't work out as the flames would burn through them. The flames roared as they even grew in size, casting their light above Tangrowth and the other Pokemon.

Thankfully, Twilight and Starlight were here. Twilight used her magic to shield the Pokemon, putting them in a magic bubble. The flames met with the bubble and were blocked entirely. Starlight had also done the same for other nearby Pokemon who didn't have massive shields like Tangrowth.

Twilight and Starlight then pulled the magic bubbles with the Pokemon away, bringing them to a safer spot before the flames could continue moving. That is until Ash and the others can get rid of this forest fire.

Speaking of which, they were doing a good job in holding these flames away. Braviary's wing flaps were potent enough to create a strong wind pressure while Castform and Sobble could douse out some of the flames. But, even they won't be able to keep it up for long.

"Dragonite! Come out and use Hurricane!" Ash quickly switched to his next partner, Dragonite. Out of the Poke Ball, the Dragon Pokemon emerged.

"Dragonite!" Once showing up, Dragonite flapped her wings, creating spirals of winds alongside her friends. Now she was joining in on the action. And with the power of Psuedo-Legendary Pokemon, the odds were being made in their favour. With Dragonite's Hurricane, the flames were standing less of a chance now.

Twilight and Starlight then placed the bubbles near the end of the forest, allowing for a safer time until they can get rid of these flames. Twilight then noticed some Pokemon trapped underneath a massive log that had been caught on fire. They were using their strength to try and push the log away but to no avail.

Twilight quickly used her magic to slice the log in half, freeing the Pokemon from the struggle. Espeon also did the same by using Dazzling Gleam on any falling trees affected by the flames.

As Ash and the others were doing their best, in the distance, near the Marshland, Celesteela was still out there. It could tell that the group were erasing what its fellow Celesteela were up to. A shame that it couldn't take off, which would result in more damage to the land.

A frown graced the Launch Pokemon's face as it wished to fix the mistake and warn its fellow Celesteela as well. But it wasn't going to make any progress like this. Celesteela then gained pure determination as the Steel-Flying-Type knew it had to do something. That's when the Ultra Beast realized something.

While it was quicker in the air, it wasn't that fast on land. If anything, it moves a tad bit faster than a Shuckle. But that's not much. The Ultra Beast did this by exerting as little fuel from her arms as she could.

Small flames came out of its arms as the Ultra Beast was trying to use as little force as she could to prevent further destruction. The speed she was moving at just wouldn't do, unfortunately. But it had to try.

The nearby Pokemon witnessed the Launch Pokemon moving, knowing what it was trying to achieve. They could also see the smoke rising in the distance. Celesteela's hovering wasn't as fast as she was hoping. Celesteela made her way towards the forest, attempting to help.

The Pokemon could see how slow she was moving, knowing all of that, the Pokemon decided to help. Many of them had given Celesteela a boost in speed by ramming their bodies into its back.

The Steel-Flying-Type made a confused heavenly cry before looking behind it. It saw how all the Grass-Type Pokemon here were trying to push the Ultra Beast ahead to the forest. Celesteela soon knew this was not a hostile attack.

Unfortunately, the Ultra Beast was so heavy that the Pokemon themselves were greatly struggling. The pace did increase, but not as much as they wanted it to. That's when Celesteela had one final solution.

Autotomize.

The only move where Celesteela can lower it can lower its weight and increase its speed. The Ultra Beast was hoping that it would be enough. But it would come at the cost of adding more fuel and flames. Celesteela warned the Pokemon about what it was about to do and the risk that came with it. The Grass-Types nodded in response as they allowed Celesteela to used its fuel.

With a mighty cry, the Ultra Beast had used Autotomize, coating its body in a green and silver light. After that, Celesteela's weight had decreased. Now it was lighter but had better speed.

The flames spewed out of its arms, allowing Celesteela to pick up better speed than she was already moving at. And as to be expected, when coming in contact with the grass, new flames had sprouted, spreading out. The Grass-Type Pokemon had scattered after the flames emerged.

Celesteela moved at a lower level instead of ascending high into the air. She made her way towards the scene as fast as she could, leaving a trail of fire in the process.

Speaking of the scenario, it wasn't about to wrap up just yet. The combined might of Pikachu and the others was enough to deal with the flames. But there were some more coming from the side since fire tends to split up into several groups, only intensifying.

Twilight and Starlight had saved an abundance of Pokemon from any harm, gathering them all at the safest spot they could find.

"Look! Some of the flames are heading somewhere else!" Goh pointed out, spotting some flames moving in a backwards direction, threatening to rampage across another part of Equestria.

"Then we'll catch up to those flames and stop them before-" spoke Ash before he was interrupted. Arriving at the scene was Celesteela and her drive to help stop these flames. "Celesteela?"

"Pika?"

With an angelic cry, the Launch Pokemon did what it could. It had one move that could work well with fire. Stone Edge. By putting its two arms out, Celesteela sent out large sharpened stones, right past Ash and the others.

These stones served one purpose. Land on the flames and put them out. And they certainly had the size and strength to do so. One stone was enough to overlay a tree-sized flame. And the other stones could do the same. Perhaps even more. One by one, the flames were being crushed and put out by Stone Edge.

And with such precision too. Celesteela's idea worked out splendidly. And with the unification of Pikachu and the others, they were able to put out the flames in the forest with no casualties.

"Awesome job, Celesteela!" Ash exclaimed, walking up to the Launch Pokemon.

"Pika-Pikachu!"

"Phew." Goh sighed. "Well done, Sobble."

"Sobble."

"It's not over yet. Look." Rainbow Dash alerted everyone as there was still the threat of the other flames in the distance that have already branched in other directions. This wildfire wasn't slowing down any time soon.

"We have to deal with how many of these? There were six Celesteela, right?" said Goh.

"They all took off during the night. So the flames have been spreading for a long time now. Who knows how much there is now." Ash explained the rest of Celesteela's words to them all. "But we can't stop now. Everyone out there's gonna try and put them out after all."

"Yeah. Hold on. There's something I want to try." Twilight stepped forward, looking at the faraway flames as she had an idea sprouting in her head. She had her magic take out just one Poke Ball. And out of that Poke Ball came Ninetales.

"Ninetales!"

"Ninetales' ability is Flash Fire. Meaning that no matter what, Ninetales will end up absorbing the flames instead of feeling them, adding to his strength." Twilight broke down her plan to the group. "All Ninetales has to do is stand or run through the flames and they'll be drawn to him like a magnet."

"Oh! Smart thinking, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash approved. "Let's do it then!"

"We can deal with the ones here but...there are so many of them across Equestria. And they all appeared and sprouted during the night. I'm not sure Ninetales will be enough." Twilight looked down.

"We'll figure something out. Right now, let's get to work." Ash encouraged Twilight, kneeling to her level.

"Pika-Pika."

"Right. Go, Ninetales!"

"Nine!" The Fox Pokemon got to work. With great speed, he ran towards the flames in the distance. The rest of his friends followed after him with Celesteela aiming to do the same. However, they had just put the fire out in this forest. So she had to be careful not to start another one.

"Don't worry." Starlight suddenly said as she coated Celesteela with her own magic. She would personally carry the Launch Pokemon. "I've got you." A great alternative. And since Celesteela had already used Autotmize, she was lighter, allowing Starlight to have an easier time.

As for Ninetales, he was having a buffet with all of these flames. He already reached the flames in the distance, running into them. And when he did, his body automatically absorbed the flames with ease. Barely any effort. Plus, Ninetales was gaining extra strength from it.

All Pokemon moved away from Ninetales, allowing him to work his magic. And with a few runs, Ninetales had prevented the flames in this area from spreading any further, absorbing them all.

"Atta-boy, Ninetales!" Twilight cheered. "Great job!"

"Esp! Espeon!"

"Nine! Ninetales!" Ninetales let out an innocent smile while his body glowed red from all the flames he had absorbed.

"It's settled. That's the ultimate plan. All we need is to get Ninetales across the land as fast as he can. And I know the best way to do that. Pheromosa." Twilight had her eyes set on Rarity's Pheromosa. A true speedster of a Pokemon.

"Skip on that! I can get him around!" Rainbow Dash intervened, deciding to let herself take Pheromosa's role. "It'll be easier
since I'm already here."

"Alright. I can trust you with speed, Rainbow Dash." Twilight nodded in approval. They now had great utilities in this. Rainbow Dash's speed coupled with Ninetales' Flash Fire, they could now prevent Equestria from being consumed.

But there was still one other problem. The other Celesteela. Celesteela knew that its fellow Ultra Beasts would take breaks and land. And eventually, they will take off, causing more wildfires with their fuel once more.

If anyone was going to speak to them it was another Celesteela. This Celesteela.

Canterlot. Afternoon.

Meanwhile, near Canterlot, one of the Celesteela was approaching. Not only that, but the flames were also making their way towards Canterlot. But not before tearing through the landscape.

Princess Celestia was made aware of this immediately when a guard spotted the flames. The Sun Princess got to work, ordering her guards to deal with these flames while she would do the same.

She had just cleared up some flames that were close to Deerling Forest and the Pikachu Highlands, returning to the castle. She had a massive map on her table, showing the rest of Equestria. Passion and Arcanine were beside her as assistance.

"Alright. We've cleared those flames. Keldeo's doing a splendid job along with the Swords of Justice." Celestia spoke, looking at the map of Equestria and seeing where she could head to next. "But there are so many flames to count. We'll need to at least trace over and cover Equestria for possibly a whole night if it goes on. Let's try-"

Just as Celestia made plans to end this approaching disaster, bursting through the doors, startling her, Passion and Arcanine was the Princess of Love, Cadence.

"Auntie!" Cadence bellowed, prompting Celestia to face her. "I know what we can do!"

"Cadence? I see you're already aware of the flames."

"How can I not? Those Celesteela really left a number on everything, haven't they?" Once Cadence uttered those words, Princess Celestia squinted her eyes, taking in the name 'Celesteela' for a second.

"I...I didn't start the fire." Celestia shook her head.

"No, the Pokemon Celesteela. Look." For a better view, Cadence took out her Pokedex, showing the dex entry of Celesteela to Celestia, Passion and Arcanine. The dex gave out Celesteela's entry, showing the three of them all that they needed to know.

Now the cause of the fire made sense.

"I see. The fuel is what caused it."

"But it was on accident." Cadence pulled the dex away. "I believe they're unable to control their flames when they take off. It is their fuel. Besides, it is somewhat similar to the Kartana that came here."

"Kartana?" Celestia tilted her head. "Oh, right. The Ultra Beast Twilight told me about."

"Right. In its world, Kartana are known for cutting objects for fun. It sliced the Sylveon Statue back at the Crystal Empire, tuning it. It's adapted to its homeworld, after all for it to slice with such precision. And the same goes for Celesteela. They must come from an area where there is nothing but the ground. And that's the key to stopping any more flames from emerging."

"I see now..." Celestia picked up on what Cadence was going for immediately. "Unlike grass or ice, the barren ground will be unaffected by the destructive flames. Clever, Cadence."

"Thanks, Auntie. We can catch up with the Celesteela before it decides to land and take off again. But after that...I'm not sure what we can do with it." Cadence bit her hoof. She didn't plan this far ahead. She only thought of how to prevent further flames from sprouting due to the Celesteela and their takeoff.

"We'll think of something." Celestia spread her wings out, ready to take off. "Where is it and how far has it gone?"

"It looked like it was heading west. Flying freely without a care."

"West it is. Passion. Arcanine. Let's get moving."

"Gardevoir!"

"Arcanine!"

Manehattan.

Meanwhile, over at Manehatten, a Celesteela could be seen flying by. However, the flames haven't yet reached Manehattan thankfully. At this moment, this Celesteela decided to take a break from flying.

As it descended, it was going straight for the streets of Manehattan. Celesteela's descent involved some leftover flames that would soon vanish. Luckily for Manehattan, since the streets were made out of stone, the results wouldn't be too disastrous. The flames reached the ground before fading away as Celesteela had made its landing. Upon touching the ground, the Launch Pokmon shook the nearby ponies, making some of them jump.

"Hot! Hot!" One pony was met with fire to the hoof as she backed away, prancing on the spot and shaking her hoof to try and get it off. Many ponies moved away, confused by Celesteela's appearance. Ultra Beasts were still an oddity to them, especially how when they first saw Pheromosa.

Some ponies fell on their back due to Celesteela's landing. Plus, they were overwhelmed by its size. Definitely larger than Pheromosa. They were also moving away from the incoming flames, screaming in the process. And this confused the Launch Pokemon.

Celesteela looked around to see many ponies and Pokemon screaming and trying to avoid the flames it had created. The noise was plentiful considering the population of Manehattan. All of this noise was getting to Celesteela, ringing through its ears even though it was hard to tell where its ears were.

This noise was irritating to the Launch Pokemon. So irritating that it chose to leave somewhere else. And that meant that it would take off once more. By activating its fuel, the Launch Pokemon began ascending. The leftover flames it made wouldn't last long on the ground thanks to the streets of Manehattan. However, the takeoff flames would definitely do something.

Once the Ultra Beast took the skies, it unleashed greater flames than before. The streets were still resistant due to it being concrete, allowing it to take the flames. They would eventually fizzle out but that doesn't mean anyone could just stand around.

Luckily, help was on the way.

Ash and the others had approached Manehattan after seeing another Celesteela in the distance. Ash was riding on Dragonite's back with Starlight and Goh as Starlight used her magic to drag Celesteela along. As for Ninetales, he was being carried by Rainbow Dash who was flying beside Twilight and Braviary.

"There! Another Celesteela!" Ash pointed out.

"Pika!"

"Geez! What have you been feeding him, Twilight?!" Rainbow Dash groaned as she was trying to hold Ninetales together with all of his weight.

"Alright, Celesteela. Your fellow Ultra Beast is up to you," said Starlight as they were all leaving it up to Celesteela to speak with its brethren. As for Ninetales, it was time for him to work his magic once more.

"It looks fine there. The ground's not that affected by the fire." Goh noticed.

"Even still, we can't ignore it. Go, Ninetales!" Twilight shouted allowing, Rainbow Dash to let go of the Fox Pokemon, much the pleasure of her hooves and back.

"Ninetales!" Ninetales howled as he was ready to feed himself with all the fire he could get. Once he landed, he came in contact with the first batch of flames. Just like a black hole, the flames came to him. Nearby flames were pulled in by Ninetales' Flash Fire without fail.

The ponies gawked as they witnessed the Fox Pokemon take all of the flames away from the area. Even the pony that her hoof set on fire was free thanks to Ninetales. And with all the flames absorbed, Ninetales was powered up.

"Nine!"

As for Celesteela, it appeared in front of its fellow Celesteela in the air. That's when a conversation broke out. All anyone could and will hear are heavenly voices from them. Celesteela spoke to its fellow UB-04 Blaster, explaining the current circumstances.

It spoke about how their blast off resulted in furious flames from their fuel. Since they've been living in the Ultra Crater for so many years, they're used to blasting off from the ground instead of something flammable like grass. As a result, a wildfire was now moving across Equestria. The other Celesteela understood the severity of the situation, nodding in response.

It also knew that it had to inform the other four Celesteela before Equestria becomes torched. The two Celesteela then hovered over to Ash and the others after their discussion.

"Great job, Celesteela." Ash gave a thumbs up. "Now let's stop the rest of those flames together."

"Pikachu!"

"And Ninetales looks better than ever." Twilight noticed how Ninetales was energized by all these flames. Now that they had the assistance of two Celesteela, this will be easier.

And since Celesteela was now in the air, it didn't need Starlight to drag it along. It could stay afloat after exerting some fuel. Plus, Ninetales would just consume it.

All across Equestria, Ninetales was the go-to option for dealing with the flames. Any form of fire and he'll just eat it up like it's breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks to the speed of Rainbow Dash, they got around Equestria quickly, leaving behind a red trail.

Ninetales was dropped off on various parts of Equestria. Cities, towns and landmarks. Flash Fire kicked in every time, allowing the Fox Pokemon to grow stronger. Plus, the other two Celesteela could track down their fellow Ultra Beasts by letting out angelic howls.

These angelic howls echoed throughout the sky. And in response, the Celesteela from afar would do the same after hearing it, howling in the distance. That was essentially a group call, allowing for the Celesteela to track each other down. All the while, Ninetales went on a Flash Fire frenzy.

Speaking of fire, Ninetales was absorbing so much fire, that he was essentially breaking past his limits. Normally, Flash Fire isn't used this much. Ever. Ninetales' body was actually emanating a red aura now.

"What's up with Ninetales?" Starlight noticed.

"I think he's taking in so much fire that he's going past what he usually gets." Twilight observed. "Ninetales? Do you feel alright?"

"Nine." Ninetales nodded. He felt peachy. Nothing wrong here. However, he did feel like something was a tad off, but it wasn't too noticeable. As the group moved along, Rainbow Dash suddenly dropped Ninetales when trying to pick him up.

"Ow!" She cried out, pulled herself back as her hooves had smoke coming out with burn marks.

"Rainbow Dash! Are you okay?!" Ash asked.

"Ow...That burns...What the?" Rainbow then looked at her hooves, seeing the burn marks for herself. Ninetales' body was now a walking radiator.

"Looks like it's too much fire now!" shouted Twilight. "Ninetales, are you sure you're alright?"

"Nine?" Ninetales whimpered, feeling bad for burning Rainbow Dash's hooves. He didn't mean to do so. However, because he has absorbed so much fire, he can't actually control his heat anymore like he normally could.

After that whimper, an explosion of energy could be seen in the nearby mountains up ahead with smoke coming up, alerting the group. And flying out of that smoke was the third Celesteela.

"Another one! What's going on over there?!" Goh gasped. From what they could observe, it seems that Celesteela was engaging in some conflict. They witnessed the Launch Pokemon use the move Meteor Beam, shooting out a gigantic beam from the cosmos themselves.

It struck the ground, causing an equally large explosion. Ash and the others definitely had to see what was going on and what had proved this Celesteela.

Over at the mountains, the Celesteela was actually facing off against some of the Pokemon that lived here. For one reason. The Pokemon blamed Celesteela for causing the flames. And they weren't wrong. Right now, their home was being set on fire since Celesteela decided to take off here.

Thus, a battle between the Pokemon in the mountains and UB-04 Blaster had ensued. And the poor Pokemon were not standing a chance. Celesteela was too much for them. In terms of power and defence, it was just a well-rounded Pokemon overall.

However, they've been battling for a while many Pokemon approaching to try and overwhelm the Launch Pokemon. And that irritated the usually gentle Celesteela into one of aggravation. Now, things were aggressive Celesteela whacked some Pokemon away with its large arms.

The other two Celesteela cried out, seeing its fellow Launch Pokemon harm the other Pokemon while the mountains were being engulfed in flames. They cried out to try and stop this Celesteela, however, it was so aggravated that it only wanted to deal with the Pokemon here. Once the two Celesteela got close, the aggravated Celesteela pushed them away with Superpower.

"Celesteela!" Ash exclaimed as the two of them went flying, crashing into the ground afterwards.

"Those are your friends! What gives?!" Starlight roared but that only drew the attention of the enraged Celesteela. Now it had eyes on Ash and the others. "Uh oh..."

In response, the Launch Pokmon held out its two arms, using Fire Blast. Two massive blasts of all-consuming fire were sent out, right towards Ash's group.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Dragonite, Hyper Beam!" Ash ordered.

"Pika...Chuuu!" Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder while Dragonite opened her mouth. At the same time, the duo unleashed a powerful blast of 100,000 volts and a full-force beam of Infinity Energy. Those two attacks were enough to cancel out Fire Blast, preventing any harm to their friends.

Now the aggravated Celesteela was against them as it flew over to the group, ready to use Superpower on all of them. But jumping in the way was Ninetales who appeared in front of Celesteela with a surprisingly great jump.

"Nine...tales!" By himself, Ninetales had used Mystical Fire, unleashing a magical blast of flames in front of the Launch Pokemon and guarding his friends. He didn't even need Twilight to say anything.

Due to Flash Fire, Mystical Fire was powered up to the extreme. So powerful that it could even break through Celesteela's amazing defence. The woes of being a Steel-Type. Celesteela had been struck and pushed back by Mystical Fire, crashing into the ground while an explosion of flames occurred. An explosion that was so grand it was larger than what a regular Mystical Fire can generate.

"Sweet Celestia..." Twilight's jaw dropped after witnessing the raw power of Ninetales. He was stronger than ever now. However, his body started twitching due to the number of flames in his body. Despite all that power, he couldn't contain every single flame inside of him.

He still has his limits.

"I'm surprised I'm still an expression." And responding to Twilight's words were Princess Celestia, who had just arrived with Cadence by her side.

"Princess Celestia! Cadence!" Twilight and the others turned to face the two alicorns.

"Right on time. Looks like the flames haven't completely ruined this part," said Cadence. "And the Celesteela?"

"Not in the best mood right now." Rainbow Dash replied as the aggravated Celesteela stood up after Ninetales' Mystical Fire. Now it was personal as it charged up a Meteor Beam. As for the other two Celesteela they had gotten up, flying over to try and convince their friend.

"Three of them?" Cadence noticed three Celesteela in one spot. That would explain the rapid movement of fire overnight.

"Nine..." Ninetales groaned as he was trying to keep it together. He had to endure the overwhelming out of flames in his body as he ran towards the aggravated Celesteela while absorbing nearby flames.

"Ninetales, wait! Eve, go help him before he really hurts himself!" Twilight exclaimed, seeing that Ninetales was starting to feel off.

"Esp!" The Sun Pokemon nodded as she jumped off of Braviary's back, going after her teammate. Ninetales was ready to use Mystical Fire again with even more power added onto it. "Espeon!" In response, Espeon used Quick Attack to get in front of Ninetales.

The aggravated Celesteela had finished charging Meteor Beam faster than expected. After doing so, two massive beams with cosmic energy came flying out of its arms.

The other two Celesteela stood in front of Espeon and Ninetales, protecting them from any harm. They had used Flash Cannon together to try and stop their friend. Unfortunately, their silver beams weren't enough to stop the Meteor Beam. It had overpowered their attacks, hitting them instead.

The two Celesteela fell back as Espeon and Ninetales jumped over them. Espeon used Dazzling Gleam while Ninetales used Mystical Fire. Rays of rainbows and a magical beam came flying forward. Celesteela responded by using Fire Blast on them both. Fire Blast overpowered Dazzling Gleam, destroying it and heading for Espeon. But it tied with Ninetales' Mystical Fire.

"Nine!" Ninetales noticed Espeon being threatened by Fire Blast. So to protect his friend, he personally jumped to the side, taking Fire Blast for himself. And once he did, he observed the overwhelming power of Fire Blast with Flash Fire, adding to his already amplified state.

"Espeon?"

"NINETALES!" Ninetales roared as he unleashed a mighty red aura from his body from all the flames he had absorbed. The aura was so grand that it coloured the mountains a reddish-orange while also expelling heat.

"Just like the show Red Aura..." Rainbow Dash noticed as she felt like geeking out. But now was not the time for this considering the situation.

Everyone could feel this heat. It was as if they were near a volcano. Everyone started sweating from the heat that Ninetales was producing. The only ones who could resist this were Arcanine and Dragonite thanks to Arcanine's Fire-Typing and Dragonite's Dragon-Typing.

"W-What's up with this heat...?" Rainbow Dash groaned, sweating as Castform automatically turned into his SUnny Form from what Ninetales was giving out.

"Ninetales is hotter than ever..." Twilight breathed in and out. "I knew he would do a great job of absorbing the flames but, I didn't expect this!"

"NINE.!" And with this increase of power, Ninetales performed to things. His red aura had grown to a point where it could be seen from afar. It eclipsed the mountains while also colouring the clouds themselves, reaching some of the highest points in the skies.

Almost anyone could see it. Even all the way from Manehattan, Las Pegasus, Canterlot and Ponyville too. His power had reached an all-time high. But not only that, he had learned a new move.

Gone was Mystical Fire. NInetales now had access to Flare Blitz.

"NINETALES!" Ninetales growled as his body pushed past his limitations. He was about to faint from all the fire he had received. But not before using Flare Blitz in one final burst of strength. The Fox Pokemon took off like a rocket, leaving behind a flame shockwave from his speed, crashing right into the Launch Pokemon at full force while having his red aura active.

With a gigantic aura of fire crashing into Celesteela, Ninetales caused a massive pillar-shaped explosion to emerge, forcing everyone to close their eyes.

"Garde!" Passion protected everyone by casting a massive Psychic shield as protection. And a good call too. The explosion was certainly big in the radius department.

Afterwards, Ninetales fell out of the smoke, fainting from absorbing so much fire and the recoil of Flare Blitz just did him in as well. But, Celesteela perished too. It couldn't take that much power. As a result, it was down and out.

And that was the end of Ninetales' Flash Fire. It served its purpose today.

"Ninetales!" Twilight gasped, rushing over to her partner along with Espeon.

"Espeon!"

"Nine...tales..." Ninetales groaned, feeling a bit dizzy and befuddled from all of that. He sat up from the ground, shaking his head as he was trying to regain his balance. "Nine?"

As for Celesteela, the other two went up to their friend, seeing that it was no longer enraged. Now that they had their friend in the spot they wanted it to be, not attacking anyone, they could explain it all.

They explained everything. From how their takeoff started the flames to everything leading up to now. The enraged Celesteela could see why the Pokemon blamed it for this. Even though it was all accidental, Celesteela and its brethren felt guilt from this with a saddened heavenly cry.

However, its two fellow Launch Pokemon comforted their friend, telling it that it would be alright in the end. The Pokemon heard this as they understood it was an accident as well. They apologized for starting this battle in the first place and aggravating Celesteela.

One last thing occurred. Due to them making heavenly cries in the sky to call out and find their fellow Celesteela, the remaining three Celesteela had shown up after following the cries in the sky.

And the giant explosion of fire of course.

All 6 were now present here. All 6 reunited. Just where Cadence wanted them since she had a plan. They greeted their other friends after responding to the cry.

"Looks like that's that," Ash said.

"Pikachu."

"Well, we came here at an odd time, didn't we?" Celestia laughed.

"Gardevoir."

"Sorry, Ninetales. I should've known that absorbing too much fire was bad for your body."Twilight apologized. But to Ninetales, it didn't matter. He did his best, causing the Fox Pokemon to lick Twilight playfully. "Haha! Knock it off!"

"Ninetales!"

4 minutes later.

"So you planned to find them a place where they can take off and fly whenever they want?" Twilight said Cadence had given her plan to them all and what it was about.

"Mhm. Since they enjoy flying and are seemingly familiar with the ground rather than grass or anything like that, somewhere less flammable would work while also having all the space they need. And I know the one place for that." Cadence smiled, raising her hoof as everyone was anticipating the answer. "You remember that place in Unova? That...what's that sea called?"

"Oh! The Arcane Sea!" Ash called out.

"That's it! That was my plan. If not then somewhere else. What do you think? Not a bad idea, right?"

"The Arcane Sea is massive. And Ultra Beasts can breathe in space." Starlight nodded. Plus with all that water there, it's impossible for something to be set on fire."

It was a good idea that many could agree on. However, after hearing that, the Celesteela had made up their mind. With a heavenly cry, they sent a message towards Passion. And Passion passed it on with a Psychic pulse to Celestia.

"I see. They say that they wish to head back to their home for now." Celestia translated.

"Huh?! But what about the Arcane Sea?!" Cadence pulled back as the Celesteela sent another cry with Passion passing it on.

"They're considering it. This won't be the last time they appear apparently." Celestia once again gave the translation to them all. "But first. They want to help clear out the rest of the flames that they've spread before they leave."

"Then what are we waiting for? Ninetales, you can rest now." Twilight looked to her partner, returning him to his Poke Ball. He played his part wonderfully and took out most of the flames. All that was left was a few and they could call it a day.

Afterwards, the Celesteela teamed up with the Pokemon Trainers and their Pokemon to put other flames out across Equestria. With their teamwork, they finished up all of the flames they had to get rid of. And with little injuries too. Plus, having the power of an Ultra Beast helped greatly.

Once that was said and done the Celesteela were now heading back to their home, reaching the mountains where the wormholes were.

"Bye! Take care!" Starlight waved.

"When you get back, can I catch one of you?!" Goh shouted up at the six Celesteela as they all gave their farewells.

"See you at the Arcane Sea one day okay?! Maybe during the next Pokemon Festival!" Ash roared.

"Pika-Pika!"

The Celesteela responded by giving heavenly goodbyes in their own way. One of them even made fun of how Princess Celestia shared a similar name to them by sending it to Passion.

"G-Gardevoir..." Passion giggled after hearing that as she then sent it to Celestia.

"Of course..." Celestia sighed before laughing herself. She could find some humour in it. The Celesteela then entered the wormholes, finally leaving.

A shame that the Steel-Type they tracked down wasn't Jirachi. But, a potentially horrible disaster had been taken care of. Plus, with Ninetales becoming stronger than ever and gaining a new move, new adventures were coming along the way as the journey continues.
