Leaf of Fate

Ponyville, night.

Cold and Jade, joined by Krookodile and nocturnal Pokemon, were on Nightwatch again while everyone else in Ponyville is fast asleep.

Cold Colt was watching from the balcony of Twilight's castle while Jade sat outside SugarCube Corner. So far, there was nothing out of the ordinary tonight. Everything seemed fine from what they could observe. Cold had Twilight's binoculars for extra vision.

"Seems good out here." Cold said, navigating the binoculars. He was treated with the sight of some nighttime shenanigans between Pokemon. But it wasn't anything troublesome. Just some Pokemon messing around.

"Absol." Of course, Absol was awake. That was no surprise. He acted as Twilight's ultimate bodyguard in every situation now. Absol had just recently received himself a Mega necklace for his Absolite.

But, with seemingly nothing unusual happening at night, it was only a matter before something showed up that would puzzle Cold and Jade. And it would come straight from their friends.

As the wind was howling through Ponyville, Cold and Jade spotted a very familiar Pokemon walking by. One that already belonged to one of their friends.

That Pokemon was Chikorita. Belonging to Fluttershy, of course.

She was currently outside on her own in the night without Fluttershy by her side. There was one logical reason for that. Yet again, Chikorita was sleepwalking.

"Chikorita?" Cold and Jade both said from different heights.

"Absol?"

"Chiko..."

And as always, when Chikorita starts sleepwalking, she isn't alone. Audino was also seen awake at night. Obviously taking care of Chikorita to keep her out of harm's way.

However, this time, Audino had little energy left in her to keep up with Chikorita, even when sleepwalking. She also had scratches on her. Something must've clearly happened during Chikorita's sleepwalking instance as Audino was breathing heavily.

"What's going on?" Cold increased the sight of the binoculars. Even though Audino was struggling to keep up with Chikorita. She wasn't alone herself.

Krookodile, who was obviously awake, had come along to help Audino grab Chikorita and head back home with her. But, oddly enough, even he had scratches on him. And he wasn't even tired.

"Wonder what happened to them?" Jade wondered. Cold decided to come outside of the castle, curious himself as to what happened to Audino and Krookodile.

"K-Krookodile..." Krookodile took a moment to catch his breath.

"A-Audino..." Audino fell on her knees. All the while, Chikorita kept on walking. This time, Chikorita's sleepwalking gave her a sense of instinct.

When she came across a tree, her instincts kicked in, causing her to walk around it. These instincts made her avoid Audino and Krookodile, even though she was walking at a slower pace than them. At least, before they had the scratches around them.

Chikorita was only getting further away from Audino and Krookodile at this point as Cold and Jade walked over to the two exhausted Pokemon.

"You two okay?" Jade asked.

"Is Chikorita sleepwalking?" Cold said.

"A-Audino..." Audino nodded as Jade and Cold helped her and Krookodile up.

"Dile..."

Jade's body was emanating a faint glow of Rift energy as she once again used that ability to understand Pokemon speech without her even knowing about it.

"Ah. So that's what happened." Jade understood.

"Rita..." From the direction she was facing, it looked like Chikorita was heading for Lapras Lake.

"Probably been a huge hassle for you two. No need to worry." Cold walked over to Chikorita. "I'll bring her back home no problem."

By using heavy caution and absolute silence since it's a bad idea to wake a sleepwalker up, Cold Colt was going to use his magic to grab her and bring her back to the Pokemon House.

However, this is where the unexpected could actually reveal itself. It wasn't going to be so easy to bring Chikorita back. Not because of her sleepwalking.

But because of what Cold Colt is capable of now.

Once he used his magic on Chikorita, the full potential of what he was capable of had been revealed. From both Cold and Chikorita, a gigantic orb of Rift energy had emerged.

This orb of Rift energy formed into a dome, encasing Chikorita, Cold Colt, Jade Skies, Audino and Krookodile all in one. Everyone, except for Chikorita, widened their eyes as they felt like they were being blown back by this sudden emergence of cosmic energy. The only one not inside was Absol since he was far away from the scene right now.

This is what the Rift was expecting when it unlocked Cold Colt's full potential. It was expecting Cold to use his magic on something that really mattered.

And Chikorita was one of them. For one specific reason. And it had something to do with her leaf.

"What's happening?" Jade said, trying to sound surprised, but she couldn't considering her lack of emotions.

"I-I didn't know!" Cold looked around the dome. "I was just going to grab her and-"

"Audino?"

"Krook?"

"Chikorita..." And despite this dome of cosmic energy showing up and making supernatural and otherworldly sounds, Chikorita was still asleep.

"Can't you stop it? It's your magic after all."

"I-I can try. Let me see if I can lower it." Cold, unsure of whether this dome was safe or dangerous, couldn't take any chances. Plus, he didn't want to wake anyone up at this time. Especially Chikorita.

He attempted to use his magic to lower or get rid of the dome. However, just like what the Rift planned, it was time for Cold Colts true potential to show itself. When doing everyday ordinary actions like picking something up or opening a door, his magic isn't out of the ordinary and seems normal.

However, when it comes to something like this, it's taken to the next level. The unpredictable nature of Rift energy had been accelerated to its maximum capabilities without Cold knowing. Even with his full potential unlocked, he still couldn't control it all. In fact, now he had less control than he used to before.

Thus, his attempt to lower the dome was a failure. Instead, his magic resulted in a teleportation spell. His first one since he had never done a teleportation spell before.

Everyone around him had their bodies surrounded by cosmic energy as a signal that they were about to be involved with teleportation. And Cold couldn't do anything to stop it. Neither did he know he was performing a teleportation spell. He still believed that he was lowering the dome.

When he wasn't.

And just like that, the dome inverted with an impulse as Cold, Chikorita, Audino, Krookodile and Jade had all been teleported out of Ponyville in a flash.

And there were only a few there to witness this. Absol and that same Noctowl that hangs around near Twilight's lab. Noctowl and the other nocturnal Pokemon had witnessed it with their own eyes. They had a lot to tell everyone in the morning.

"A-Absol?!"

"Noctowl."

But where did Cold and the others end up?

The teleportation actually sent them all to a location far away from Ponyville, that's for sure. The area that they had been sent to was another of the newer Pokemon exclusive locations in Equestria.

Known as Boldore Badlands.

A ravaged, barren wasteland with a desert-like appearance and a rough landscape, surrounded by ravaged grass and rocky hills. There is also a small fissure at the end of a large cliff. Along with the cliff, there were dry ravines and gullies too with one long canyon.

Here, many Rock and Ground-Types could be found. No other type was present. There were no Water-Types because of this area's condition.

The only other Pokemon Type that might be present here could be a Steel-Type. But that's about it. Other than that, it was a rough place to be in. And it didn't help that there is often also a strong wind that blows in one direction that has a high chance of showing up.

This is where Cold and others ended up as they all fell near the cliff.

"Ough!" Cold gasped as he was the first to fall. Everyone else ended up falling on him with Krookodile being second, Audino third, Jade fourth and Chikorita fifth, still sleepwalking.

"Ow." Jade made an unconvincing pain sound. But in truth, that fall actually did hurt her pretty badly.

"Chiko..." Chikorita simply walked off the pile of her friends, continuing to sleepwalk and wander off randomly somewhere in these dry badlands.

"H-How the...I didn't..." Cold looked at the badlands, perplexed that he even made him and everyone else appear here.

"Where are we?" Jade sat up as she got off the others. She looked around the area, observing and analyzing it for a bit.

"Audino..." Audino hopped off Krookodile.

"Cold. You teleported us to a badlands area?"

"I didn't mean to! I was just trying to get rid of the dome. But then this happened. My magic's not usually this unstable." Cold held his horn."

"Krookodile..." Krookodile himself felt a bit doozy right about now. He had just gotten the weight of everyone else off him by cracking his own back. It's a good thing that Krookodile barely gets tired, or else he would be a mess, especially considering where he is right now.

Oh! Chikorita!" Cold Colt put aside the thought of him suddenly using teleportation and creating that large dome out of nowhere. The most important matter was Chikorita.

Right now, Chikorita was sleepwalking in a highly dangerous area with incredibly high spots that no one would want to fall from. This is one of the worst places a sleepwalker could find themself in.

The sleepwalking Leaf Pokemon was currently heading straight for one of the ravines here. The ravines of the Boldore Badlands extended from main rivers back to tablelands about 700 feet and possibly higher.

"Eek!" Cold screeched as he ran after Chikorita to keep her from harm's way. But he couldn't rush it. Waking Chikorita up here would be a bad move. So he decided to trot at a medium pace instead of galloping. Plus, he might fall off the ravine if he went too fast. "Why now of all nights...?"

But Cold didn't have to worry too much. Her instincts will kick in for this, keeping Chikorita safe from any potential harm. At least, that seemed to be the case mostly. Because, while she did avoid the ravine by turning around, her instincts couldn't possibly fully protect her from what was coming for her and the others.

Since it was currently nighttime, many predators are out at this time, searching for prey to drag back with them. And one of those predators was Gliscor.

A whole group of them.

"Gliscor..."

Gliscor are Pokemon that dance silently through the sky and observes prey while hanging inverted from branches. When they approach their prey, they swoop and strike with critical attacks. Their flight is also soundless. They use their long tail to carry off their prey. Then their elongated fangs do the rest.

And they saw some perfect prey in the form of Chikorita as their golden eyes were glowing in the dark, hidden within the branches. They were eyeing down Chikorita who was heading to the lower lands of the Boldore Badlands.

They were waiting for the right opportunity, making sure to not make that much sound. Even though Chikorita was sleepwalking at the moment.

However, there was one individual who could obviously hear them. Audino could. Her feelers were picking up sounds coming straight from the wilted branches. Sounds of rustling and tail wagging, as if something was ready to pounce and strike.

"Audino?!" Audino gasped, recognizing those sounds to be Gliscor sounds. That's when she spotted the glowing gold eyes in the branches by following the direction of the sound.

The Gliscor eyes had also noticed Cold Colt, marking him as their second prey to strike and grab. Each of the Fang Scorp Pokemon only had 5 seconds to take their chance.

"Audino!" But Audino wasn't about to let that happen. She quickly ran to the direction Cold and Chikorita were heading, yelling as she was trying to warn them about the Gliscor in the trees.

"Krooko?" Krookodile certainly heard that.

"Hm? What is it, Audino?" Cold stopped as he turned around to face Audino. But it was too late for him to take the warning. It was a shame that Audino was a bit slow.

And an even bigger shame was that Gliscor was really fast. The time to strike was now as each of the Fang Scorp Pokemon burst out of the wilted branches, startling Cold Colt, but not Chikorita as she even slept through that.

"Gliscor!"

"Oh!" Cold gasped after being startled as he looked up to see the group of Gliscor now hovering above him.

"Scor!" With their prey startled, the Gliscor could move in and strike. Afterwards, there will be some dragging involved. The move they would use was Aerial Ace as two of them moved at blitzing speeds, heading straight for Chikorita and Cold.

"Krookodile!" Thankfully, there was a guardian here. Krookodile would protect them as he instantly dashed over, using Shadow Claw to block both Gliscor's and their claws as he himself made two claws out of shadows.

"Gli?"

"Krook!" Krookodile refused to let anyone get hurt. Especially when one of them was a dear friend of Audino as he slashed both Gliscor with Shadow Claw, sending the two of them flying.

"Scor!" The two Gliscor yelled as they flew past their brethren.

"Oh! Thanks, Krookodile!" Cold thanked.

"Dile!"

But now wasn't the time to pause. The other Gliscor obviously weren't too fond of their brethren being launched and harmed. Especially when they were hunting together in the night as tradition.

Naturally, the Gliscor all narrowed their eyes, showing strong signs of hostility at Krookodile, the one who attacked back as Audino ran to Cold and Chikorita's side.

"Audino!" Audino picked up Chikorita, holding her close. It's a good thing that Chikorita doesn't instantly wake up when being held during her sleepwalking.

"Gliscor!" With Krookodile now viewed as an enemy, the Gliscor all had a slight change of plans. Defeat Krookodile and deal with their prey later. Or maybe do both at the same time considering how many Gliscor there were.

The Gliscor charged in with most of them heading straight for Krookodile as Audino held both the Rift pony and Leaf Pokemon tight while Krookodile readied himself.

"Krookodile!" Krookodile would continue to use Shadow Claw, fending off the approaching Gliscor who were all collectively using Aerial Ace to deal super-effective damage.

They were all moving at ludicrous speeds, dashing all over the place that it was obviously difficult for Krookodile to keep up with all of them. Each of the Gliscor swiped and smashed their claws and tail onto Krookodile's body every time they flew by him, causing damage by turns.

They circled the Intimidation Pokemon

Krookodile, despite being pummeled by super-effective moves from multiple Gliscor, was able to catch some of them with Shadow Claw and either hitting them back or grabbing them with the Ghost-Type move.

"Dile!" With the ones that Krookodile had grabbed, he slammed them onto the ground while using his other claw to whack any approaching Gliscor.

But even Krookodile could only take so much punishment as his head was being repeatedly smacked by Aerial Ace while he held down some Gliscor with Shadow Claw.

"Oh, right!" Cold then remembered something that could greatly help Krookodile in this situation. "He took out his Poke Ball since he had a Pokemon of his own. "Go, Cubchoo!"

"Cubchoo!" The Chill Pokemon came out of the Poke Ball.

"Quick! Use Icy Wind on those Gliscor, go!"

"Cub..." Cubchoo held in his sneeze as he was about to use the move by sneezing. Which was certainly an interesting way to pull off an attack, that's for sure. Cubchoo had to be careful to not hit Krookodile since he's weak to Ice moves. Just like the Gliscor who were much weaker to it.

"Kroo!" Krookodile roared as he tossed some Gliscor into their brethren, knocking them out of the sky. He held his head, feeling the damage from Aerial Ace constantly smacking him.

"Choo!" The Chill Pokemon then sneezed, sending out a gust of chilled air that was aimed only at the Gliscor. An Ice-Type move was a massive red flag for the Gliscor considering their Ground-Flying-Typing.

Some of the Gliscor's backed away while most of them had been hit by Icy Wind. The gust of wind had engulfed them as it was starting to freeze each of the Fang Scorp Pokemon while sending them away from Cubchoo and the others since it was a moving gust of wind. Some had even fainted from Icy Wind.

"Scor!" The other Gliscor were made aware of this as they quickly realized that this wouldn't be easy prey to catch. Not wanting to be victims of an Ice-Type move, the remaining Gliscor all backed away.

But they weren't retreating.

Instead, they had other ways to knock out their prey. The remaining Gliscor were all collectively going to use the move Earthquake. And their synchronized laughing was a good indicator of that.

"Krook?"

"What are they planning?" Cold wondered.

"Cubchoo?"

"Gliscor!" Working as a team, all of the remaining Gliscor flew under the cliff that Krookodile and the others stood on. They were going to cause an earthquake on this entire cliff as their claws lit up.

Using Earthquake on a cliff is already a massive red flag as the results can be catastrophic. Beneficial for the Gliscor, not so much for Audino and the others.

That's when the sleepwalking Chikorita suddenly stopped moving. Her instincts were kicking in as she could tell that something cataclysmic was coming via her leaf vibrating. "Chiko..."

"Gli...Scor!" The Gliscor all smashed their claws onto the bottom of the cliff, pulling off the move Earthquake as white shockwaves began to rapidly move across the surface and bottom of the cliff.

"Krookodile?!" Krookodile and the others felt heavy amounts of trembling as they were starting to lose their balance. They noticed that the cliff was crumbling and could fall apart in just a few seconds.

"Not good." Jade tried to sound surprised, but she couldn't. But honestly, she was surprised and worried about the safety of her friends as she used her wings to grab Cold Colt and Cubchoo, taking them to the skies to prevent them from falling.

As for Audino, Krookodile and Chikorita, that was a different story. Jade couldn't possibly carry them all. Two was the maximum limit. So the three of them had to do something.

But they couldn't do anything against this. Instead, Krookodile decided to protect Audino and Chikorita by hugging them both to keep them safe. Since Krookodile was part Ground, the shockwaves of Earthquake wouldn't be a problem as he would act as a shield for both Pokemon.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't matter when they end up falling. The shockwaves then ended up shattering the entire cliff, destroying every bit of it as Krookodile, Audino and Chikorita were now falling from a high place.

"Krook!"

"A-Audino!"

"Oh!" Cold gasped as he held his hoof out. He tried to use his magic, but he was afraid that he might cause more problems. Plus, there was no way he's holding Pokemon that heavy except for Chikorita.

And speaking of Chikorita, just like with what happened weeks ago at the Pokemon Festival, her leaf did the unexpected. A piece of it came off.

However, unlike before, it wasn't a tiny little piece of her leaf. Instead, it was a giant piece of it. One that actually took off most of the front part of her leaf.

The large piece of leaf that had come off touched both Krookodile and Audino's feet, emanating a dazzling flash of light. Cold, Jade and Cubchoo's eyes widened as they thought that Krookodile, Audino and Chikorita would end up falling to their doom. However, Cold actually noticed Chikorita's leaf coming off and saw it flashing as well while Jade and Cubchoo closed their eyes.

But once the light faded away and Jade and Cubchoo opened their eyes, they and Cold noticed something they weren't expecting. In just 2 seconds, Krookodile, Audino and Chikorita were on the ground, but they weren't harmed.

In fact, they were simply just standing there as if they didn't fall from a spot high enough to turn them into Pokemon pancakes.

"Huh?" Naturally, confusion hit their heads. Especially Jade and Cubchoo. "They're okay?"

"Choo?"

"A-Audino?" Audino could see that she was alright along with her friends.

"Dile?" Krookodie let go of Chikorita and Audino.

"Rita..." Still, Chikorita was asleep. A truly heavy sleeper she was. However, since a large part of her leaf was missing, the Leaf Pokemon felt a bit uneasy in her sleep as she started to grumble.

"What happened? I thought they would've been seriously hurt by that." Jade wondered as she descended with Cold and Cubchoo.

"Cubchoo?"

"That leaf..." Cold pointed his hoof at Chikorita's leaf as a large part of it was missing. "Look."

"Hm?"

"Dino? Audino?!" Audino gasped when seeing Chikorita's leaf missing a part. This time, it was larger than when it was during the Pokemon Festival.

"That can't be good. Is losing a part of her leaf bad for Chikorita?" Jade asked.

"I don't know." Cold shook his head before turning to face Audino. "Is it?"

"Audino." The Hearing Pokemon nodded. It certainly was bad for her. "Dino!"

"Sunlight heals it?" Jade's Rift energy emanated faintly as she translated Audino's words. "That's good to know. It's a shame that we're here at a place like this at night."

"But I saw her leaf do something." Cold went over to Audino and Krookodile. "When a part of her leaf came off, it touched their feet and started to glow. And then after that, out of nowhere, they were on the ground, completely fine. From a fall that high, they should've taken longer to fall. But it only took a few seconds."

"Really now? And you think her leaf has something to do with it?"

"I think so. Call me crazy but..." Cold shifted his eyes around. "I think Chikorita's leaf has the power to change fate?"

"Change fate?" Jade's mane shot up.

"Audino?"

"Krookodile?!"

"Cubchoo?!"

"I'm born from the Rift after all. And that right there looked like Rift action going down." Cold pointed at himself. "And now that I think about it...just like Axew and Togekiss, I think Chikorita's been influenced by that magical water too."

"Chiko..."

"Well. That's something to pay attention to." Jade looked up. "We should probably get back and tell Fluttershy about this."

"Uh yeah, but..." Cold then noticed that things weren't completely done here. The Gliscor were still attacking as they descending towards the group, continuing to hunt their prey. "They're not finished with us!"

"Audino!?"

"Choo?!"

"Persistent..." Jade narrowed her eyes.

"Dile!" Krookodile stood in front of them all, ready to smack away more of the Gliscor if they dared to come close. This time, he was planning on using the move Outrage for wide and stronger damage.

"Audino!" But, Audino was the one who stepped forward as she placed Chikorita down, standing in front of Krookodile.

"K-Krookodile?"

"Audino!" Audino told Krookodile to let her handle this. She knew of a move that was wide enough to clear all of the remaining Gliscor in the sky out.

Hyper Beam of course.

As everyone backed away, Audino put her hands together, forming a yellow-orange ball of hyper energy in front of her as the Gliscor were getting closer.

"Audi...!" Audino was making sure that this Hyper Beam had a behemoth amount of power packed into it. Akin to what she would have if she was Mega Evolved right now.

"Gliscor!" The group of Gliscor all had the move X Scissor ready to take their prey out as green X-shaped energy formed around their claws.

"No!" Audino had them all within her sights as she built enough hyper energy. A devastating and roaring blast of energy came flying out as it raced towards the remaining group of Gliscor, wide enough to engulf all of them.

"Gli?!" Naturally, all the Gliscor gasped as they pulled back, spotting the beam of energy heading straight for them for some disgusting damage.

They tried to fly away but it was way too wide to escape. Possibly Audino's largest Hyper Beam to date. The Gliscor all turned around before being consumed by Audino's Hyper Beam.

The sky had been lit up with the colour yellow because of how much power was put into this attack. The remaining parts of the cliff had been blow apart because of Hyper Beam as well as the ravines.

Afterwards, a grandiose explosion graced the skies, creating a wind pressure that was strong enough to rival a hurricane as Cold and the others closed their eyes.

And that explosion was enough to wake Chikorita up.

"C-Chiko?"

"S-Scor..." All the Gliscor had fainted as they fell from above, dropping like flies. That little Gliscor problem had been dealt with.

"Audino."

"Ko? Chiko?!" Chikorita looked around as she was immediately wondering what was going on and where she was. She definitely knew she wasn't back at home right now. And that prompted the Leaf Pokemon to start crying for home and Fluttershy. "C-Chikorita!"

"Audino?!" Audino gasped, spotting the awakening of her friend as she ran to Chikorita's side, picking her up to comfort the Grass-Type. "Audino!"

"Chiko!"

"Well, that solves two problems," Jade said. "But we're still stuck out here."

"Yeah...I'm scared to teleport right now. What if I make things worse? How did I even teleport to a place like this? I've never seen this place before in my life!"

"No need to worry." Jade went up to Cold. "Somepony will come and find us."

"Out here?"

"Pinkie Pie has a bunch of Slurpuffs. All they need to do is sniff something related to you and they'll track us down in no time. Keep your hope up." Jade put her hoof on Cold's face, forcing him to smile. She wishes she could smile right about now.

"Right! I will!" Cold took Jade's advice. "But...What do we tell Fluttershy about Chikorita's leaf?"

"You can tell her. It's Rift related after all. Let's just hope the sunlight can heal it fast."

That's what Audino was hoping for as well. Chikorita was experiencing a bit of pain because of a part of her leaf missing. It was worse than before, that's for sure.

Audino rocked Chikorita back and forth gently like a baby, trying to calm her down as she told the Leaf Pokemon that it would be alright. Fluttershy and the others would surely come for them as a sandstorm was kicking up.

Krookodile stood by everyone, acting as their shield once more. Being a Ground-Type, sandstorms are useless against him. Everyone huddled around Krookodile as they waited for their friends and the day to arrive.

The Pokemon House. The next day.

"What?!" Fluttershy screeched as her wings were flying rapidly. As to be expected, they came for their friends via the information of Absol and Noctowl. And of course, Slurpuff tracked them down like a bloodhound to the badlands.

"Her leaf can change fate?! I beg your pardon?!" Rarity pulled back.

"Saw it with my own two eyes." Cold nodded. "And I think that each time a piece of her leaf comes off, that's when the fate-changing trick kicks in. Can't get anymore Rift-related than that."

"Chikori..." Chikorita was currently resting up, letting the sunlight heal her. However, since she lost a large part of her leaf, the healing was taking a while. It wasn't as quick as before, sadly as Audino sat by her side.

"Dino."

"So now we have like 3 Rift influenced Pokemon with us?" Twilight pondered. "That's something for sure. And you didn't know about this, Fluttershy?"

"No. I didn't even think about it. I wonder how many more of the Pokemon here have been influenced by that water?" The pegasus looked around the Pokemon House.

Any one of these Pokemon could be Rift-influenced and they probably don't even know. They were just living their best lives right now.

"Well isn't this a good thing?" Pinkie hugged Jade. "I mean, if it can change fate, then doesn't that mean Chikorita could keep both worlds together? We don't even need Jirachi!"

"I think it only works on living beings," said Cold. "Besides, who knows how much of her leaf Chikorita will use if she was in a really big and bad situation. That Gliscor attack already took a large chunk out."

"Hm. Well, anyway. Thank you so much for telling me this, Cold." Fluttershy patted Cold on the head. "I'll make sure to take good care of Chikorita at night. That would mean changing up my sleep schedule. Sorry that you had to deal with this every night, Audino."

"Audino," Audino told Fluttershy that it was fine. She was just keeping her friend safe after all.

A wrap up that night-time escapade. With the revelation of Chikorita's fate-changing leaf, more unexpected surprises just keep coming to everyone. There's a good chance, more are waiting to show themselves.

But, whatever surprise may come their way, they'll have what they need to tackle it. After all, they all have loyal and strong friends by their side as the journey continues.
