Shaping a new Destiny

The Dream Realm. The Hyperdream. Shooting Star's Past Dream.

The lovely dream that Shooting Star once had was now ruined. His bedroom was all that remained as the palace was gone along with the capital. The bedroom hovered around total darkness even after a powerful light from the Unown had eclipsed it.

Luna and Darkrai opened their eyes after witnessing the eclipsing light. When opened, they saw how the scenery had changed. Only the bed and Shooting Star remained. Along with the Unown.

"What happened? What did you do?!" Luna turned to Second Wind, who was still here. Even as a dream apparition, she could still know of the current events and of the Pokemon.

"As we speak, all of the Destiny Magic within Shooting Star has been manifested on the outside. Courtesy of the Unown." Second Wind replied before floating over to Shooting Star. "But this would've never happened. No, no, no. You had to interfere. Now look t him." She wrapped her hooves around Shooting Star, comforting the young colt. But it was a fake comfort.

"Musharna..." Musharna had gotten a good fill-up of this dream. But the flash of light from the Unown had winded her, causing her to be perplexed. Luna promptly returned Musharna to let her rest.

"I don't know what's going on..." Shooting Star whimpered.

"It's okay, my little pony." Second Wind hugged him. "You're just having a bad dream right now. And it's their fault."

"Their fault...?" Shooting Star sniffled, gazing at Luna and Darkrai with water-clad tears.

"Yes. Fittingly, one of the causes nightmares to occur. They came here to ruin you. Scare you. Were it not for them, my words would be crystal clear and your dreams would be free of this horrid event."

"Liar!" Luna bellowed, using a bit of her Royal Canterlot Voice. "We came here to rescue you, Shooting Star! To bring you back!"

"There is nothing to rescue at all. It was I that helped him achieve what the previous Pegasi of Destiny said he would never do. He is in my gratitude from start to finish. I brought out his potential and here you are trying to erase that."

"Shooting Star! Listen to us! She has taken your entire family away from you just to get what she wanted!" Luna barked, trying to reach Shooting Star.

"What family? Shooting Star, do you even know your parents?"

"N-No..." The young colt uttered as memories of his parents and who they really were had been taken away ever since his memories were altered and the timeline had been changed. Second Wind smirked at the agitated Luna and Darkrai, knowing that their words could not reach him. But whilst Second Wind revelled in her victory, Shooting Star's next words threw her off guard. "But I want to know."

"What...?!" Second Wind pulled back, looking down at him.

"I wanna know my mom and dad." The young Shooting Star mumbled. "I think I saw them back there but...I don't know."

"Your parents are irrelevant!" Second Wind shouted. "Even if they existed, I doubt they would've brought out your true potential as I did! I'm all you need."

"That's not true!" Luna roared at Second Wind. "Don't forget about that, Shooting Star. Having parents in your life, those close to you is an amazing feeling! I know you don't remember but at least know what something like that can feel like!"

"Silence!" Showing that she had some control in this realm, Second Wind's wings flared up, causing a magical wave to push Luna and Darkrai back.

"Don't you want to feel the warm embrace of your mother?! Look up to your father as you once did?!"

"I said silence!" Second Wind shouted once more, trying to silence Luna from even having a chance of reaching Shooting Star. She flapped her wings once more, only for Luna to push through, resisting it.

"As if I'd let you, especially at such a young dream, miss out on such wonderful moments that could happen!" Luna broke through Second Wind's magic. "I was young too! The dreams that I had of my sister were nothing but spiteful which led me to become a terrifying Mare of the Night later on! I refuse to let that happen to anypony else young in the world."

"But I don't know who my parents are."

"I'll make you remember then!" Luna flew towards Shooting Star, only for Second Wind to step in front of her. They both butted heads with Luna's horn just missing the rest of her. "You're in my way, you false ruler!"

"Accursed Equestrians! Always sticking your noses in places you don't belong! Unown! Take her away, now! Both of them!" Second Wind barked as the Unown would do just that. Within the Dream Realm, they couldn't quite erase Luna. But they could force her and Darkrai out of the dream.

Luna and Darkrai were repelled by the Unown and their combined power. A hole in the dream had been opened up as the Unown used the rays of Hidden Power to drag Luna and Darkrai out. Darkrai held onto the cracked hole, trying to hang in there.

Luna tried to pull herself back in by ferociously flapping her wings, only to be forced out once the Unown had used more of Hidden Power. Both Luna and Darkrai left this dream as the hole had been closed afterwards.

Shooting Star stayed silent as Luna didn't reach him at all. That left Shooting Star with just Second Wind as this dream from the past had been permanently altered. It was no longer the sweet and dear dream that Shooting Star once had.

"Be happy that they're gone, little star." Second Wind snickered. "Any longer and who knows what might've happened."

"What about my parents? Can I see them?" Shooting Star turned to her. "W-What are they like?"

"I told you. You don't have to worry about that. You are the Pegasus of Destiny. One of the most important ponies in existence. Family means nothing." She spoke in his ear in multiple directions. "If anything, the family that you would have would slow you down. But I won't."

"You promise?" He whimpered as the Unown all circled him.

"Promise."

"I think not!" But interrupting once more was the voice of Princess Luna. Second Wind had a visible vein pop on her head out of frustration. And within the Dream Realm, a massive hole had been cracked through.

With lights from the Hyperdream shining through, the visage of Luna and Darkrai appeared. They had returned, much to Second Wind's annoyance. But she didn't come alone. Second Wind gasped with her eyes widening in shock as someone else had appeared. A familiar silhouette.

The silhouette of King Paramount. And another showed up. One of Queen Luminary. Shooting Star's real parents appeared before him, but it didn't stop there. Another Paramount had shown up. And another Luminary. And more of them. Second Wind froze there, witnessing the constant appearances of more and more Paramount and Luminarys that were floating next to Luna and Darkrai.

Her eyes struggled to keep up with the sheer amount of them that were showing up, entering the dream of the young Shooting Star. "W-What is all of this...?!" Second Wind stammered as the number of Paramount and Luminarys were reaching the numbers of Unown present here.

Shooting Star's eyes focused on these pegasi, noticing them from the rippling ponies from before who he could barely hear. They had shown up once more but with greater numbers. "Luna! What did you do?! How did you gather them so quickly?!"

"It's best not to think too hard about the workings of the Dream Realm. But what you see before you is an array of King Paramount and Queen Luminary. All from different dreams of their own. And equally knowledgable about their own son." Luna explained. "At least Paramount is. Reach him, you two. Reach your son."

"Our son..." Luminary still had her memories altered whilst Paramount kept them. All of them spoke the same word in unison, echoing throughout the dream. "Is it?"

"That is our son," said Paramount. "The one that we cherish the most."

"Shooting Star, you need to remember!" Luna pleaded. "This dream is one of great value and it cannot be ruined!"

"You've already ruined it enough! Unown, stop them!" Second Wind commanded as all of the Unown went for the Paramounts and Luminaries.

Only for Darkrai to get in their way. Darkrai crossed his arms, summoning an array of shadows around him as the Unown were blocked from advancing any further. Luna had then used her magic to not only form a forcefield but also bring in some of the dream bubbles from the Hyperdream.

She had used Lunar Ire's special magic with the Hyperdream to shrink the bubbles, making them around her body size. Smaller but still clear enough to look inside.

"Look!" Luna held out one of the Dream Bubbles to Shooting Star. "On the 27th of December! You were born into the world! This was your first dream!"

"No!" Second Wind rushed in, attempting to block any memories that could be brought back to the young prince. However, the army of Paramount and Luminary would stand in her way. Or rather hover in her way. "Out of the way!" Second Wind used her magic onto the forcefield, trying to shatter it. Paramount and Luminary added their magic onto Luna's forcefield, strengthening it as Shooting Star's eyes were focused on the dreams.

It showed the first dream he ever had right after he was born. It was a dream of him floating around in silver clouds, giggling. And in that bubble, he saw the shadowed faces of Paramount and Luminary. While within the dream, they appeared all wobbly and faint, outside the dreams, the bubbles showed the truth. Much like this one before entry.

"Your next dream with your parents! You dreamt with them, experiencing a land full of your favourite food at the time! Pancakes!" Luna showcased another dream as she used her magic to make the bubbles react instead of just holding them there.

She sent out small wisps that had gone for Shooting Star's head, become one within him. Shooting Star could feel the wisps inside of him as it made him wince from this suddenly mind invasion. Second Wind had then placed her hooves on the forcefield, starting to tear it apart, only for the King and Queen to add extra layers. She spread her wings out, flapping them to try and force the wisps from further entering Shooting Star.

"Years passed and you have clearer dreams as a toddler! The dreams of your first friends! Not just your family!" Luna sent more dreams his way that all contained memories of the true history.

Meanwhile, Darkrai was using Dark Void to put all of the Unown to sleep, left and right. He even threw in some Dark Pulse into the mix as Shooting Star curled onto his bed. "Your friends exist too! The first ones you had and should still remember! Your next dream!"

"This won't happen! Unown...I hope your actions outside are working to my advantage!" Second Wind roared, hoping that the outside was faring better at this rate as she continued to try and break the forcefield.

Pegalysium. Cold Frontier. Nightfall.

And on the outside, in response to the actions inside of the Hyperdream, Shooting Star, who was in the centre of Destiny Magic creature conjured by his dreams and emotions, could feel it all.

The creature, which had 12 heads of the 9 previous Pegasi of Destiny and Paramount, Luminary and of course, Second Wind, cried out. Twilight and her friends, who had been rejuvenated into Legendary Pokemon minus a few, were running from the raging thunderbolts and the avalanche caused by all of this ruckus. Joining them and fleeing the area were Warevush, Chicane and Roseshy along with Froslass and the Snorunt that lived here.

"What's going on with it?!" Zeraora-Rainbow Dash questioned with the lightning bolts ferociously hitting the ground. These lightning bolts of colossal size also started attacking other islands nearby, causing the Pokemon and sky-creatures living there to start running for their lives.

With the Destiny Magic affecting the weather, a tornado was also starting to form in the distance. Coupled with that, the magic had also reacted strongly with the Cold Frontier, forming a violent blizzard.

"It's controlling all of these different weathers?!" Starlight, along with Cold Colt and Jade Skies who didn't have Legendary or Mythical bodies, exclaimed after witnessing the formation of different weather disasters.

"History says that Destiny Magic gives a pegasus full control over the weather in every way! This is just a big example of it!" Waverush explained as she shivered from the cold.

Especially Spike, who had the body of Rayquaza. Being a Dragon-Flying-Type was the worst feeling for him right now, especially for his partner Haxorus who reverted into Axew. "C-C-C-C-Cold!"

"Spike! You're Rayquaza! The books say that Rayquaza has mastery over the weather! So use that!" Twilight cried out.

"How?!" But that was a vague sentence for Spike. Rayquaza was the master of the weather and especially the Weather Trio, but knowing how to stop these violent weather disasters was something that needed better explaining.

"I don't know, just try!" That was the best advice Twilight could give out as she didn't know enough about Rayquaza to help even further.

Spike would just wing it. He would use one of the moves he obtained as Rayquaza. Hyper Beam. Out of his mouth, a large orange beam was unleashed, going straight for one of the tornadoes. And with the natural ability of Rayquaza, the moment it connected, the tornado had been affected.

Right before everyone's eyes, the massive tornado had been wiped out by Spike's Hyper Beam. Rayquaza's weather-altering abilities were just natural as found out by Spike and the others.

"Oh...Sweet!" Spike giggled before being hit by a lightning bolt from above. "Ow!"

Applejack, who had the body and defence of Zamazenta, would utilize Zamazenta's amazing defence to protect everyone. Once three great lighting bolts came crashing down, Zamazenta-Applejack stood in front of her friends, taking the bolts with a heavy electrifying impact following afterwards.

"Applejack!" Twilight and the others cried out.

"I'm doing mighty-fine!" Applejack grinned. "No need to worry!"

"But how do we stop all of this?!" Virizion-Rarity asked as more tornadoes and ferocious thunderbolts emerged by the dozen. "These look like they could go on forever!"

"There's no safe place to fly at all!" Waverush descended. "Any one of those lightning bolts could crush us!" Just as she said that, the number of bolts not only increased, but the 12-Headed Creature focused it all on the group.

Applejack acted as their bastion of protection once more, using her shield which was also metal to attract the electricity. However, even with such high defence and the addition of Meloetta-Fluttershy's Wonder Room, the power that these bolts displayed were potent to the core.

Some of the lightning bolts ended up passing Applejack via the creature's control. The icy and snowy ground had been set ablaze by the impact of these bolts. Rainbow Dash, now having the body of Zeraora, felt like she could do something about this.

She approached one of the incoming lightning bolts, moving just as fast as it as she put her paws out. Thankfully for her, Zerarora's only natural ability was Volt Absorb, causing her to absorb the lightning bolts that came here. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes before then feeling the surge of electricity within her. "Oh! I'm okay?! Yes! Totally knew that would happen!"

"Your ability must be Volt Absorb! Nice going, Rainbow Dash." Pinkie Pie cheered. "Now that I think about it...!" Having a clear idea, Pinkie Pie had used Mew'sa ability to transform, making herself a Ground-Type. Specifically, Camerupt. And with great timing as the lightning bolts had no effect on her upon her transformation.

However, the avalanche was still incoming as a snow tornado, coming with two different weather effects had emerged, towering over Twilight and her friends. Multiple snow tornadoes emerged from the ground, gathering all of the abundant snow just to form them. The head of Second Wind from the 12-Headed Creature of Destiny Magic had also approached with its fangs baring.

"Thunderbolt!" But just then, from the skies above, two familiar voices echoed. And following that shout came 100,000 volts that soon became 200,000 volts when together had come crashing down.

These bolts had pierced the Snow Tornadoes, obliterating them in the process. Twilight and the others recognized those voices anywhere. With their voices in the skies, they had spotted the arrival of Ash, Celestia and Goh. And the two responsible for the dual Thunderbolts were Pikachu and Passion.

"Oh, Ash! Pikachu! Goh! You're here too?!" Fluttershy gasped with excitement in her tone.

"Raboot!" Hopping off of Dragonite's back was Raboot, going straight for Fluttershy. Even though she was now a Meloetta, Raboot could recognize that voice.

"Xerneas. Rayquaza? Zeraora? Meloetta?" Ash was obviously stunned at all of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon here.

"Zamzaenta too." Goh pointed out. "How come they're all here?! I've never seen some of them before!"

"It's us!" Twilight shouted. "I'm Twilight Sparkle! Right here!"

"Twilight?! Guys?!" Ash, Goh and Celestia were agape with shock. Their friends started speaking frantically with all of their familiar voices coming through. It was certainly them. "Awesome! You're all Legendary and Mythical Pokemon!"

"Pikachu?!"

"B-But how?!" Goh wanted answers immediately.

"It's Unown stuff. Don't worry about it too much." Spike flew over. "But we should worry about that. Shooting Star's in the centre of it all."

"All of Pegalysium could be crushed by that," Celestia observed. "It seems that he's doing it without a clear conscious. Unable to control it."

"How do we free him them?" Starlight asked.

"We can find our ways. Right now, Luna is within Shooting Star's Dream." Celestia thought about her little sister. "I just hope that she can reach him."

Pegalysium Capital.

Meanwhile, at the capital, by using RIft Magic, King Paramount had summoned the obelisk to the surface. After summoning it, he used the Rift Magic on it for one purpose. To call for Windkiss. The first Pegasus of Destiny.

Calling for these legendary pegasi was only meant to happen once a generation. But with Rift Magic, that was an exception as the spiritual visage of Windkiss had been seen, appearing into Pegalysium once more.

"I'm back...? How?" Windkiss gasped. "It hasn't been a generation later yet. How can this happen?"

"Apologies. But I summoned you back for your help, Windkiss." Paramount approached. "It's urgent."

"King Paramount? If you were able to summon me here then it must be important. What happened? D-Dd you sort everything out with your son?"

"About that...Take a look for yourself." Paramount nudged his head in the direction of all the chaos. Windkiss and her spiritual head looked in his direction, soon bearing witness to what everypony in Pegalysium at this point had noticed without a singular miss. "Oh my goodness! All of the Destiny Magic formed into that thing?! What happened?!"

"A lot happened." Paramount didn't feel like going through everything. Luminary would like to know herself, stuck in a similar boat with Windkiss. "For now, your help is greatly needed. You created the Clock Door and the ability to control time, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did. Why is that?"

"The timeline's been changed. By Second Wind. A drastic change that has resulted in the involvement of my son. I ask you to help me open the door. You created it, so you must have the ability to still open it."

"Oh. I-I'm sorry." Windkiss lowered her head. "I can't do that, King Paramount. I'm already long gone from here generations ago. The Destiny Magic within me was passed onto the next one and when they passed on, it went to the next Pegasus of Destiny. I'm just a spiritual apparition at this point."

"Right. I should've known." Paramount sighed as that plan had failed. He had hoped to open the door as soon as possible.

"But. I can do something without my Destiny Magic." And once more, hope showed itself in many forms, sparking back in Paramount's heart. I and the other Pegasi of Destinys' voices could be heard across Pegalysium when we appeared. I can make my voice reach him."

"Really? That could work! Please, do so!"

"Hopefully he can hear e through all of that." Windkiss would give it a shot. Another way to reach the young prince and jog his memory. Windkiss and her sky-encompassing voice had been used, but only sent in one direction. "Shooting Star. Can you hear me?"

The Hyperdream.

Meanwhile, back in the Hyperdream, Second Wind, with the arrival of more Unown, had broken through the forcefield, still attempting to stop Luna. However, the various Paramounts and Luminaries kept getting her way, allowing Luna to have all the time with helping Shooting Star.

"Out of my way!" Second Wind roared as Shooting Star was being flooded by various wisps that came from the bubbles. So many dreams that his true self had forgotten were coming at rapid-fire rates.

"Here! You dreamt of catching your first Pokemon when learning more about the Pokedex given to you by Ash! Shinx or Snorunt!" Luna shouted out as Shooting Star's eyes flared open with purple lights flashing. "Your dream of you and your cousin Cloudflare being superheroes at your school! Don't you remember?!"

"Ghhh!" The little colt continued grunting as he was being flooded with so many lost memories with his mind trying to process them. Second Wind had caused a magical pulse that pushed away each Paramount and Luminary. She then approached Luna, putting her hooves out before she could send the next dream over.

"Enough!" Second Wind barked at Luna, pushing her across the dream. Her wings flapped, showing Luna's face with violent magic that caused the Princess of the Night to groan. "You'll ruin everything! Everything that I had worked hard for!"

"You worked hard for nothing! Only taking shortcuts! I refuse to hear that from somepony as slimy as you!" Luna growled, using her magic to hold Second Wind. She had then tossed the Grand Queen aside. Luna pulled her head back, making sure that her next magic spell had some oomph to it.

And it did. Combined with Lunar Ire's magic, Luna had let out an all-encompassing magic beam that was larger than Second Wind's entire body. The Grand Queen gasped as she was engulfed by the beam, guided directly out of the dream via the hole that was made earlier. "L-Lunaaaaaaaaa!" Second Wind thundered, crying out Luna's name ferociously.

She then held one more Dream Bubble in her hooves, throwing it at Shooting Star. "And this dream with you coming to the Pokemon World for the first time! A dream that became a reality! Remember, please!"

"Shooting Star. Can you hear me?" Just as the bubble was thrown, Windkiss' voice came through.

The bubble had hit Shooting Star on the spot as he went silent for a bit. Everything did as he froze on the spot. For Shooting Star, with everything that had happened, his perception altered the dream around him. Everything went white afterwards. Windkiss' voice kept reaching through the Dream Realm, alerting Shooting Star.

Shooting Star, after having a moment to float there, not saying a word, allowed his mind to process everything. All of the dreams that Luna had thrown his way were coming back to him. So many dreams that had been altered were showing their true events, making the little colt sigh.

"I...I remember them." Shooting Star spoke as these dreams were coming back to them. "I remember that dream. I remember that one too!" He started fluttering around, recalling each dream that stuck with him the most. Luna picked out the ones that he cherished. "Oh and that too! That one was funny!"

"Did it work?" Darkrai and Paramount asked. Luna raised her hoof, letting them keep their patience. Windkiss' voice came through once more, speaking to the colt.

"You. Are you...Windkiss?"

"Shooting Star. If you can hear me, you must hear this." Windkiss couldn't hear Shooting Star replying, but he could hear her. "I'm sorry that I said little back then on that day. You were always worthy of holding Destiny Magic, despite what the other 8 said."

"Huh?" That was also starting to creep back into Shooting Star's head. The day that he was rejected the fulfilment of the Pegasus of Destiny.

"But in reality, there is a reason why you were chosen. A reason that you could make on your own and be the first to do so. You could shape your own destiny instead of following in the hoofsteps of I and the previous 8."

"My own destiny...? Really?" The colt gawked.

"It is you that can do so. Much like how I was the first to form Destiny Magic, you must be the first to form a new path for it. One that the future Pegasi of Destiny can follow. And soon, with generations to come and go, another one will do the same, making a new path."

"I can do that?" Shooting Star looked at his hooves, imagining what that meant for him. "But...I won't be the same. And I can't hold that magic."

"You won't be alone in that. The Pegasus of Destiny should never do it all alone despite their amazing magic potential. You will have others by your side to help you."

"Including us." All of the Paramounts flew to their son. The Luminaries did the same, despite not having memories of him being their son. But her heart was still that of her mother. "We can help you shape that new destiny. We should've helped you when we first found out about your destiny. We still have a chance to do so."

"Mom...Dad!" And upon looking them in the eyes after every dream came back to him, he recognized them both as his parents. In a flash, tears erupted from his eyes before then going in for a hug. Paramount welcomed him with open hooves, hugging his son.

"There," said Luna. "It worked."

"No-no-no!" But returning to this dream was Second Wind. She bombarded them with words, refusing to accept that this was happening. And her enraged status was reaching the outside.

Reality.

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" And outside, Ash and everyone were facing off against the creature of the head of Second Wind roared. The creature was hit by 100,000 volts, becoming paralyzed for a bit, allowing for the others to attack.

Applejack decided to get offensive instead of defensive. Utilizing Zamzenta's signature move, Behemoth Bash, she extended the shield on her chest as it illuminated a beautiful red. Applejack then launched herself at the creature with the full force of this attack, bashing it directly.

"Audi, use Hyper Beam! Raboot, High Jump Kick! Bayleef! Energy Ball!" Fluttershy commanded while boosting the strength of her friends with Helping Hand that she had as a Meloetta.

"Audino!" Audino and her teammates, with the help of Fluttershy's Helping Hand, attacked the creature but with some more support. Spike had used Dragon Rush whilst Haxorus went for Giga Impact. Sceptile had used Frenzy Plant, using the massive roots to restrain the creature from any further movements. This allowed Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pheromosa to get some free hits in.

Rainbow Dash had used Plasma Fists as the fists of Zeraora's body became surrounded by light blue electricity, sending a stream of light blue electricity through the ground. That electricity erupted, shocking the creature as Rarity and Pheromosa attacked past it with Sacred Sword and Triple Kick.

Rarity sliced parts of it off whilst Pheromosa staggered it three times. Pinkie Pie and her partner Mew had both transformed, becoming essentially the same Pokemon as Spike. Rayquaza. And with them both, they had wrapped around the creature and its multiple healds, further holding it down as Sceptile's Frenzy Plant was already doing so.

Hyper Beam and Energy Ball made their impact, followed by direct collisions from Spike and the others. The ground below started shattering from these Legendary hits.

"Dazzling Gleam!" Twilight, Celestia and Starlight both said. Twilight would use Moonblast whilst Espeon, Passion and Hatterene would assist with Moonblast.

"Pyro Ball!" Goh commanded his Cinderace.

"Cinder!" Cinderace would add to these sphere-shaped attacks with its own. A pebble that had been kicked up soon became a flaming orb before being launched. These two orbs would fly alongside multiple sparkling rainbows, creating a wonderful colour. The creature was blinded and bombarded by Dazzling Gleam before receiving a direct impact with Moonblast and Pyro Ball.

Afterwards, the creature expanded, only growing in strength. Even after that assault of attacks, it could still continue. However, it was noticeably getting weaker despite its persistence. "Even still?!" Twilight pulled back. "Why won't it go down?!"

"It's the Destiny Magic working at its best!" Chicane exclaimed. "It's all about causing destinies to arrive. And with all of this, It's destined to succeed!"

"Well, that's just unfair," Goh commented. But as the creature would try and continue its victory, burning away at Sceptile's roots, it was promptly stopped before it could perform its next move.

Familiar red rays were shot from above, piercing through the cloudy skies. These rays came from the Unown. But not the Unown that were owned by Thunder Stamp, Chicane, Waverush or Roseshy. Not even Second Wind. These plentiful rays from these plentiful Unown were owned by the most recent trainer of them.

Discord.

"Discord!" Fluttershy and every blurted out upon seeing the Spirit of Chaos. They were certainly happy to see him now at this time.

"I figured if I couldn't open that door, I could just resort to this. Only it'll be these letters doing most of the work, but guess who will be credited for all of it." said Discord, obviously wanting further recognition. There was something appealing about the hero position that he gravitated towards.

The creature could no longer move with all of the Unown holding it there with Hidden Power. This was the most static that it would be. "Now's our chance! We need to grab him out!" Celestia commanded.

"Got it! Pikachu, Quick Attack!"

"Pika!" Pikachu rushed in, moving at lightning speeds as Fluttershy would join him. Fluttershy had used Wonder Room once more, increasing Pikachu's defences. A necessary boost as he had jumped right into the Destiny Magic and its fury. Pikachu could already feel the ferocious aura coming from it. "P-Pika...!" Nevertheless, Pikachu held onto Shooting Star's hoof, beginning to pull.

Joining him were Fluttershy, Celestia, Twilight and everyone else as they would approach the creature, going deep into the Destiny Magic. Thanks to Fluttershy's Wonder Room, they could withstand themselves within it.

Cold Colt chimed in, using his magic to protect everyone. Jade Skies seemed to be the most unphased in all of this. Whether that was her deadpan face or her durability as a Rift Pony, that was unknown.

The creature, despite being overwhelmed by the rays of the Unown, was starting to move once again. "Not again! It just won't stay still!" Spike cried out.

"We need it to be absolutely stationary!" Celestia exclaimed. "An overwhelming way to halt its movements!"

"Hm? You all!" Garnet faced the Pikachu that were all still laying around, full of the sweets within them. They were far too lazy to move. But their combined electricity could be enough for paralysis.

"Pika..."

"Hmm...If you're full then...Unown! Empty them!" Garnet ordered, aiming her hoof at the army of Pikachu. The Unown still felt Garnet's will, compelled to fulfil her wishes. And this right here was an easy task. By pouring red rays onto the Pikachu, not only had they sorted out their fullness problem, but they did exactly what Celestia needed to be done.

"P-Pi?!" PikaSupreme and the others felt an unnerving rush within them. Having themselves feeling stuffed and all of a sudden it vanishing out of thin air was an unusual feeling. A feeling so bizarre that upon being freed of this gluttony, they all unleashed a resounding flare of electricity from their bodies.

The sugar rush had finally kicked in, resulting in all of the Pikachu using Electric-Type attacks. And that was just what was needed for the creature to stay still. Countless volts struck the creature directly as Pikachu and Rainbow Dash added to it. Pikachu and Rainbow Dash borrowed some of the electricity before also unloading their own volts into the creature.

And with this union of electricity, they had done it. The Destiny Magic creature was halted. Pure paralysis from different sources. With its body unable to move, it could no longer fight back and struggle against its opponents. With this stationary stance, Pikachu and everyone managed to successfully pull Shooting Star out at last, freeing him from this creature.

As for the creature itself, once Shooting Star was removed, the sole source of this powerful magic, it had let out a cry of defeat. With everyone exiting, the creature started dispersing. Silver particles from the Destiny Magic had been scattered with the multiple heads being the first to vanish.

They all watched as the one head that bellowed louder than any of them was Second Wind's head. Parallel to the defeated shout that she made within the Dream Realm. It was over.

Instead of blowing up, the creature merely peacefully left. There was something calming about its departure. All of it had left without returning to Shooting Star. The Destiny Magic was gone. All turned silent as the lightning bolts came to an end. So did the other ferocious weather disasters. They were all tied to the Destiny Magic after all.

"Looks like it's over," Ash spoke. "Is Shooting Star okay?"

"Ugh..." Speaking of Shooting Star, he lay on the ground, slowly opening his eyes. A crowd of familiar faces had greeted him, looking down t the young prince. Shooting Star felt befuddled after everything that had happened as he was now waking up. He missed out on a lot that he would certainly enjoy.

"Shooting Star..." Garnet said to him. "D-Do you recognize me? Us?" She hoped that his memories had returned.

"Oh yeah...My dad went to your birthday one time, didn't he? Garnet." And with that sentence, it was safe to say that he was back. Recalling not just Garnet, but also his parents.

"You're back!" Excited beyond belief, Garnet had picked up the prince, giving him a tree-crushing hug that caught him off guard. "Oh, I knew it would turn out great in the end! I knew it!"

"Gouh! I-I can't breathe....!" Shooting Star's eyes bulged out as Garnet's hugging strength was overwhelming. Then again, whenever someone is so happy, their hugs do tend to increase in strength unnaturally.

Everyone else welcomed Shooting Star back with his memories being restored. All done from an inside source. Waverush, Chicane and Roseshy also felt some happiness from this. They did originally plan to bring him to high spirits, but they didn't expect it to turn out like this.

"Sno! Snorunt!" The Snorunt, especially the one Shooting Star befriended, bounced up and down on the thick sheet of snow upon seeing Shooting Star being alright.

"Woah...W-Where did all of these Pokemon come from?" Shooting Star paid attention to Twilight and the others who appeared as Pokemon. Pokemon he had never seen before with only a few within the Pokedex.

However, before Twilight and her friends could explain, the fulfilment that the Unown had given to Garnet had been completed. And upon completing this fulfilment, by using Hidden Power once more, they brought everything back to normal immediately.

Twilight and the rest of her friends had their sentences cut off before feeling their Legendary and Mythical Bodies undergo a reversion. A noticeable one. Ash and the untransformed individuals watched as they had reverted to their natural forms. Back to an alicorn, earth pony, unicorn and pegasus. No longer were they these mighty magical creatures.

"Oh! We're back!" Twilight felt her wings once more as Rainbow Dash took flight immediately.

"Aww..." Pinkie Pie pouted, greatly upset that it was all over.

"What a shame. I was getting used to being a Virizion." Rarity shrugged. "It is what it is."

"But at least it was our second go at it. I think this is a good sign of us becoming more Pokemon in the future." Fluttershy looked to the bright side as this was the second time they had become Pokemon. It could happen again, depending on the circumstances.

The Unown delivered their final deed. And it involved the Rocketship that Team Rocket owned. Knowing that they were involved heavily with its destruction, they offered to restore it. Arceus was right about the Unown. They were truly beings of a neutral position.

Good or evil. It didn't matter to the Unown.

These Unown that once listened to Second Wind, after fulfilling that wish, had no other reason to be here. Thus, they left, heading elsewhere on their lonesome. "Oh! I didn't get to thank-" Fluttershy turned to face the trio of pegasi, only to see Thunder Stamp there. Waverush, Roseshy and Chicane had already departed. "W-Where did they go?"

"Fled no doubt." Rarity stepped forward. "But, Thunder Stamp. Why would you protect them? Even after knowing what they had done."

"Mmm-mmm." With little words and only grunting, Thunder Stamp nudged his head to Fluttershy, allowing her to translate.

"Oh. They're his adopted children. That's why."

"I beg your pardon?!" Caught off guard and feeling as if she was hit by a train, Rarity jumped back after this revelation. Everyone else wasn't as surprised by this, unaware of how big of a deal it was.

"C-Can I get caught up to speed? How come we're in the Cold Frontier?" Shooting Star asked. "And why are you all here?"

"I think it's best if we went back to the Sky Monarch to let it all settle in," Celestia said as now was certainly the best time to return and call it a day. Or rather, a night in this case.

Sky Monarch. Nightfall.

When returning, the three Unown oned by Thunder Stamp were delivering their final good deed. Mainly on Queen Luminary. Her memories of Shooting Star were still lost. But it was nothing that the Unown couldn't fix. While small, three Unown were enough to alter memories.

Once her memories were restored, Shooting Star could face his parents once more. His mother and father with their memories intact. "Oh, Shooting Star. I can't believe I would forget about you." Luminary felt guilt within herself for forgetting about her own son.

"It wasn't your fault dear," said Paramount. "Powerful forces simply tore that connection. But other powerful forces bright it back."

"Hehe." Luna chuckled, as she knew that Paramount was referring to her. Thanks to her actions, she managed to bring Shooting Star's true memories back to them all.

"All of you. From Equestria and the Pokemon Word. You have once again helped our kingdom in a time of need. For that, you have our thanks yet again." Paramount bowed his head along with his family. "You've proven that you are allies that we can depend on."

"You're welcome. Least we can do." Celestia said.

"You guys are awesome. But uh...what about Second Wind?" Shooting Star asked I can't use Destiny Magic anymore. It's all gone from me. That doors gonna be shut forever again."

"But you heard what Windkiss told you, correct?" Paramount wrapped his hof around Shooting Star's neck. "It's time for you to shape your own destiny. A new one. And we'll be here to help."

"Yeah, I heard." He chuckled. "I'm gonna make it something special. Not sure how but...I'll get there."

"Second Wind will be dealt with later on. Let her keep her Pinnaculum Pegalysium. As for you all, I never got the chance to tell you this. But if you wish to take a reward, feel free. Here in Pegalysium, rewards are by choice."

"Aha!" Rarity's eyes shot up with golden bits. Garnet as well. But hers was focused on Quillbits. Pegalysium's currency. "It was worth the hard work and coming here!"

"Hehehehhe....! Payday!" Garnet rubbed her hoves along with Rarity, thinking of all the things they could do with their rewards. Team Rocket had a similar idea. Even when gathering some of the gold from the temples, they wanted more. Ash, Pinkie Pie and Celestia were already thinking about foo as their main rewards. Cake, cupcakes and more.

They were free to choose. And once they requested what they wanted, they could head home as Garnet ran up to Shooting Star, deciding to communicate with him after all that had happened. It was time they spoke as friends and for Shooting Star to catch up. Everyone took some time to stay here and chat away before returning to their homes. But they wouldn't make it too long, of course.

It was a wild ride getting to this point. But as always, with great union, their teamwork made sure that it would all work out in the end.

Pinnaculum Pegalysium. Nightfall.

"Those blasted Equestrians...! Accursed humans!" And clearly, Second Wind wasn't happy about this. She kept her position as the timeline was still altered.

Even when she won, she still lost. Her main source of opening the Clock Door had been robbed. The numbers of Unown that she originally owned had dwindled. Either going their own way or even being caught by Discord. Second Wind calmed down, knowing that this was not the end. But this certainly created issues that she hoped to avoid.

"I won't forget this." She growled. "I'll make sure that you will all pay. Your nation and the world's past that!"

As the journey continues.
