The Horrors of Magehold

Equestria. Canterlot. Canterlot Stadium. Afternoon.

The first-round battles of the Canterlot Junior Cup have concluded. The second rounds in the second brackets would begin soon. And the first match was between two of Sweetie Belle's Contest Rivals. Gelidity and Velvetwind. But first, a lunch break had been made.

The young trainers back in the waiting room were given food, eating together at a shared table alongside their Pokemon. They had their personal favourites as half of them ate with frantic behaviours, having zero table manners while the other half ate with care and distinguished manners, showing a perfect duality between the foals and their Pokemon.

"Hm. Blue Moon still isn't back." Sweetie Belle noticed that Blue Moon, who was actually the vampire pony Night Sprout, was not present even at this lunch break.

"She said she was hungry when she beat Sunrise," Scootaloo replied. "But all the best food's here. Maybe she has her own? Oh, well. More for us."

"It'll be Gelidity vs Velvetwind next. I can't wait to see you both battle!" Sweetie Belle's eyes lit up.

"I'm a bit terrified, honestly..." Velvetwind giggled nervously as she had a right to feel somewhat intimidated. Gelidity was a skilled Pokemon Trainer. The tricks that she displays during Pokemon Contests, especially during the Battle Stage, make her a formidable force and seemingly a prodigy too.

Looking at her, she could also sense a feeling of great dread. She saw the visage of a terrifying giant before her that was right behind such a gentle pony.

"It's almost time for you to head out." Nurse Joy spoke to Velvetwind and Gelidity. "How's the meal?"

"Great!" The foals all said in perfect unison.

"Don't be too scared of me." Gelidity laughed which only intimidated Velvetwind further. "Go easy on me if you want."

"That's going to be difficult. But since the winner gets to battle Ash, I guess it isn't the scariest thing possible...I won't fault to disappoint."

"And when either one of you makes it to the third round, you' be battling yours truly." Diamond Tiara uttered before then thinking to herself. "Though...I think I'd prefer it if I battled Velvetwind instead. That Gelidity's too much for me right now, that's for sure."

"Let's get going then. I'm all already full. Are you ready, Gelidity?"

"Mm." Gelidity hopped off her seat, nodding in confirmation. Everyone else would finish their meals while also looking at the screen simultaneously to observe the battle. The pegasus and the earth pony then trotted outside as the first match of the second rounds could officially begin.

"But...That girl Blue Moon should get back soon," said Nurse Joy. If not, she'll be disqualified..."

The two foals stepped out into the arena as everyone's eyes were glued back to the scene. Most of them had something to eat after that short lunch break as the action was now back.

"Ah...That's better." The announcer licked off some food from his mouth. "We're back now. And it's time for the first match of the second round to begin. It's Gelidity vs Velvetwind!"

"Both trainers, please send out your Pokemon." The referee ordered.

"I choose my Drifblim!" For Velvetwind, she threw her Poke Ball first, sending her tried and true partner Drifblim.

"Drifblim!"

"Hm...Then I pick Nidoqueen!" Gelidity thought about it for a bit before then selecting her Nidoqueen for this battle.

"Nidoqueen!"

"Battle Start!"

"I'll have the first go! Drifblim, use Gyro Ball!"

"Drif...Drifblim!" Drifblim hovered there for a moment before then spinning his body, already kicking into a high-speed velocity. However, he did not move from the spot. Instead, he stayed there, continuously spinning.

"Oooh. Stone Edge, please, Nidoqueen!"

"Nido!" Meanwhile, Nidoqueen attacked while her target was spiralling in one constant position, summoning rocks around her body. Then put her arms out, unleashing the rocks at full force. This was sure to be a super-effective hit, no doubt.

That is until the moment the stones approached Drifbllim, all of that constant spinning from Gyro Ball made a difference. His spinning body caused the stones to suddenly be blown away once they reached him. A wind aura started appearing around his body which had repelled the stones as some of them almost hit Nidoqueen.

"Queen!?" Nidoqueen put her arms up from the reflected stones.

"Ta-da! Gyro Ball's stronger depending on the speed of Drifblim's opponent! And it looks like your Nidoqueen is faster than him, so this Gyro Ball is extra strong."

"Ooh..." Gelidity was impressed by this.

"I already had something like this planned for my contests and I took inspiration from Ash's Dragonite with this trick. So now go! Drifblim!"

"Blim!" After summoning a wind aura around his body from his constant spinning, Drifblim approached the Drill Pokemon, leaving behind a shockwave in the process. Drifblim was still moderately fast despite Nidoqueen apparently being quicker than him.

"Nidoqueen, grab Drifblim!"

"Nido...!" Nidoqueen held her arms out, prepared to grab Drifblim as he was getting closer. She would use her brute strength to her advantage and what better way to do so than to let her opponent come to her.

"Go down!"

"Drifblim!" But once Drifblim got close and Nidoqueen moved her arms to try and catch him, the Blimp Pokemon only ended up fast falling, dropping rapidly to the ground and evading the incoming grab.

"Nido?"

"Drifblim!" Now that he was on the ground, Drifblim started rapidly spinning there too while still approaching Nidoqueen. But this time, he could go for an attack on the legs. Not before conjuring up a dust storm from all of his spinning. By spinning on the arena, he managed to kick up some dust which resulted in a dust tornado that emerged in front of Nidoqueen.

"Nidoqueen?!" Nidoqueen put up her arms as the ferocious dust tornado came up, enveloping her vicinity.

"Something like this won't hurt Nidoqueen! But it'll blind her for a bit! Now, strike her!"

"Drif!" Drifblim zoomed in, crashing his body into Nidoqueen's legs, hitting the knee mainly. He got a free hit in while Nidoqueen was squinting her eyes from the tornado. He was like a spinning top on the ground as he crashed into both her legs.

"Queen!"

"Keep going!"

"Nidoqueen! Now, try grabbing Drifblim again!"

"Nido...!" NIdoqueen opened her eyes as she looked intensively at the tornado that surrounded and consumed her. The Drill Pokemon could still withstand this. All thanks to her Ground-Typing. She powered through with pure perseverance before spotting a purple blur coming from the side. "Queen!" There, she managed to spot Drifblim, attempting to grab him.

"Blim!" However, even after seeing Driblim, he was still moving too fast to catch as he ended up jumping over Nidoqueen's incoming grab, ascending to the air for a bit before then landing on the ground once more.

"Oh, nice! Drifblim's surprisingly doing better in the tornado than NIdoqueen, who's much bulkier than it!" Twilight exclaimed, leaning forward. "And thanks to Gyro Ball, she can't catch it with all of this movement and ruckus."

"Mhm. That Gyro Ball sure does come in handy if someone's faster than you. It's still strange how that works." Fluttershy replied as Nidoqueen tried grabbing Drifblim each time.

"Yes! You're doing great, Drifblim! Keep it up until she falls."

"Hmm..." Gelidity pouted, thinking of a new approach. "Aha! Superpower! Clap your hands!"

"Nido...Queen!" A solution had been made to deal with the Driblim Tornado situation. A good clap was seemingly the answer to it. Nidoqueen channelled her power into her arms before then clapping them once. By doing so, she made a thunderclap. A clap so powerful that it resulted in a thunderous shockwave that blew everything around her back.

This included not just the tornado as she managed to disperse it but also Drifblim, throwing his momentum with Gyro Ball off. "D-Drif!" Drifblm felt this mighty shockwave from Nidoqueen. HIs Gyro Ball movements had ended, pushing Blimp Pokemon back into the air. The attack wouldn't affect him but the shockwave from it did.

"I can't use Superpower on Drifblim. So I'll just use it in a different way to help me." Gelidity giggled. "It works well. Doesn't it?"

"Ah! It's just like what you do with Braviary's Superpower, Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie Pie bellowed, looking over at her pegasus friend.

"Again...every Pokemon with that attack can technically do it. If they've got the right limbs for it, that is..." Rainbow Dash replied as this was just another case of trainers adapting quickly to what they can do with Pokemon Attacks. "But, I bet this is something she picked up when it comes to her Pokemon Contests."

"I picked it up for my contests." Gelidity ended up confirming it. "And I know how I want to battle from now on in this tournament."

"You do?" Velvetwind replied.

"Yes. I'll battle as if I'm in a Pokemon Contest! That'll help me more! Is that a good idea?"

"Gulp!" Judging by Velvetwind's gulp, it was a terrifically perfect idea. That way, she would feel more in her element and that only made Velvetwind more worried about this battle.

"Okay then. Water Pulse and then Stone Edge!"

"Nidoqueen!" Nidoqueen knew exactly what to do and how to do it. BY using her contest experience, which was her greatest expertise, Nidoqueen had first stomped on the ground, summoning glowing blue crystals. But instead of sending them towards Drifblim, she made them appear around her.

"Oh, what's this? NIdoqueen's protecting herself with crystals!" The announcer pointed out.

"Not good! Let's try and stop her! Quick! Use Gyro Ball to clear out all of those crystals!"

"Drifblim!" Drifblim would use Gyro Ball once more. This time, with the intent of destroying the crystals. If this approach worked, it would be satisfying to the eyes to see all of those crystals break one by one in a circle.

"Nidoqueen!" But that's when Nidoqueen used Water Pulse. She made one orb of water but that was all she needed. The Drill Pokemon threw the orb at one of the crystals, but instead of breaking it, the water ended up bouncing off of it.

And once it bounced off of the crystals, it moved onto the next one, bouncing off of it as well. And the next and the next. And then soon, this orb started hitting every crystal.

"What's going on?!" Rarity leaned forward.

"I see it!" Twilight gasped, already knowing exactly what Gelidity was planning.

"Be careful, Drifblim! Smash right through those crystals!"

"Driblim!" Drifblim managed to smash right into one of the crystals, destroying it and moving on to the next. However, the Water Pulse was still moving about, bouncing off of the remaining crystals while Drifblim kept going.

"Now! Superpower!"

"Nido!" Nidoqueen held her hand out, channelling Superpower into it as she had then locked onto the orb. Thanks to all of this back and forth bouncing, Water Pulse had gained a high velocity that made it stronger than ever. And that strength was only going to be boosted once Superpower came in. "Queen!"

A mighty blow had been made onto the sphere of water as the speed and power of Water Pulse had been accelerated. Pulling off a successful contest move, the Water Pulse had not only been launched forward, but it brought along some of the crystals that had been shattered. The water had a turbulent wind around it, pulling the shards to add to this attack.

"D-Drifblim!" Drifblim felt this heavy impact as it stopped him in his tracks. The Blimp Pokemon was not only hit by a full-force Water Pulse but shards of crystals from Stone Edge that sparkled beautifully around the water pulse. It was both a beautiful and devastating attack as Drifblim suffered super-effective damage from i.

"Drifblim, no!" Velvetwind cried out as the Ghost-Flying-Type spun around in the air, feeling absolutely winded by that combination of attacks.

"It worked! Hooray!" Gelidity jumped for joy.

"Using Water Pulse in that way...I should've stopped her from battling this way when I had the chance." Velvet chuckled nervously. "But if that's the case...if I'm going to give myself a better chance and everyone else at winning this, I need to beat Gelidity right now even if she's better. So let's go, Drifblim! Shadow Ball!"

"Drifblim!" Drifblim raised his head up before then conjuring up a blob of shadows. This time, Velvetwind was going all in. She wasn't going to wait and see what Gelidity would plan next. Now was the time to finish this battle and claim victory over a truly formidable young prodigy.

"Water Pulse and Dragon Pulse!"

"Nido!" Nidoqueen would combat sphere with sphere. But with a second move in the mix. Dragon Pulse. Nidoqueen created the pulse of water in her hand before then suddenly putting it close to her open mouth. Afterwards, she built up some draconic energy before then unleashing a dragon-shaped blast.

That blast had roared out of Nidoqueen while also merging with Water Pulse. The blue sphere of Water Pulse was in the mouth of this energy dragon as it soared through the air, approaching Drifblim's Shadow Ball. The energy from Water Pulse turned this energy dragon into a beautiful light blue colour in the process.

The Light Blue Energy Dragon roared at the blob before then meeting with Shadow Ball. However, the pulse of Water Pulse ended up colliding with Shadow Ball first, cancelling it out. After the two attacks cancelled each other out, that allowed Dragon Pulse to continue without worrying about anything getting in its way. Dragon Pulse still kept its new colours while still approaching the Blimp Pokemon.

"Ah! Become inta...uh...Phase through!" Finding it hard to say intangible, Velvetwind went with the simplified explanation of it. Drifblim understood clearly.

"Blim!" A nice quick save from Drifblim. By using his Ghost-Type body, he made himself intangible, causing Dragon Pulse to phase right through him, negating this attack as the dragon-shaped shockwave hit the ground, blowing up there with Drifblim being unharmed.

"Alright! Let's use some contest moves of our own for a bit! Charge in with Ominous Wind!"

"Drifblim!" Drifblim then approached Nidoqueen while also summoning an eerie wind with spectral energy. That wind surrounded Drifblim's body before then forming into a dark purple spectral trail that had light purple wisps within it. It made a terrifying sound that echoed throughout the area.

"Go, Nidoqueen! Stone Edge!"

"Nidoqueen!" Nidoqueen then also approached Drifblim before then stomping on the ground at the last second when she was close to him. Drifblim ended up crashing his body with Ominous Wind into Nidoqueen while Nidoqueen ended up summoning blue crystals from the ground.

Both attacks had landed at the same time, resulting in an explosion in the very middle. There was debris of rocks that flew out of the explosion along with some spectral energy to boot. However, once it all settled, only one Pokemon was revealed to be standing.

Nidoqueen was still standing. The smoke cleared to reveal her. That defensive and sturdy body was without a doubt a tough one to get past. And Difblim found that out the hard way as he fell on his back. He had fainted.

"Drifblim..."

"Drifblim is unable to battle! Nidoqueen wins! Thus, the victor is Gelidity!"

"Oh, joy!" Gelidity pranced on the spot. Once she won this battle, Nidoqueen ran over with her arms out. Cheers resounded across the stadium as NIdoqueen picked Gelidity up, giving her a hug that was equal to that of a mother. "Nidoqueen! Great work!"

"Nido! Nidoqueen!"

"Oh, well...Not too surprised." Thankfully, Velvetwind was not too beat up by it as she had gone over to Drifblim, helping him up. "You were great, Drifblim."

"Drifblim."

"And you too, Gelidity. But I'm not surprised or too beat up y it."

"Many thanks for the fun battle." Gelidity walked up to Velvetwind. "Thanks to you, I know how I want to battle through the entire competition."

"Yeah...hehe..." Velvetwind chuckled before thinking to herself. "I might've doomed everypony else here."

"Wish me luck. And I will see you at the contests." Gelidity held her hoof out as she and Velvetwind partook in a hoofshake. After paying each others respects with a sporty hoofshake, the next matchup would begin soon as they went back into the stadium.

Sweetie Belle felt the same thing that Velvetwind felt. Battling Gelidity who now planned to battle as if she was in a Pokemon Contest was now a difficult roadblock to overcome. As if there wasn't already some difficulty. However, this also excited Sweetie Belle. It gave her a further purpose to go past her best. And if she gets the chance to battle Gelidity here, she'll get to see how she stacks up to her greatest contest rival.

Darkrai had opened his eyes. Recently, after catching Night Sprout, he planned to bring her back to Canterlot after discovering her true identity and her main goal of finding information about Yveltal. He had used Dark Void to put her to sleep, however, that was when Night Sprout's Curse Magic had shown itself.

Night Sprout planned to show Darkrai something terrifying. Despite being hit by Dark Void, she did not experience any nightmares. Mainly because she, in her own words, had already experienced a real-life nightmare.

When Darkrai owned his eyes, he found himself in a dreadful scenery. Jet black skies with green and purple thunder flashing within the clouds, crooked trees and enigmatic flowers, bulky towers and a fierce castle. This was Magehold. Home of the Dread League.

"This place...is this Magehold?" Darkrai uttered after looking at the place. He could only suspect that this was Magehold due to the description that Chrysalis gave out.

"It is." Night Sprout spoke with her voice going all over the place. "It's such a great place. But I didn't think it was great in the beginning. You'll see why." Night Sprout then changed the scenery, sending Darkrai into one of the towers in a second. Darkrai soon found himself in another scenery.

This time, it was a room that was a massive contrast from everything Darkrai had seen. A children's playroom was the new scenery. It fit the look of one as there colourful tiles on the floor and even on the walls.

This place did not fit that of a vampire and skeleton-filled world. However, Darkrai, being the Master of Nightmares, knew that this was all part of the terror in some way. After looking at the layout, he turned around, spotting a group of foals that were right behind him.

These foals were all sitting on the colourful tiles, but none of them were smiling in such a fun and playful area. Their eyes all looked fairly soulless as they had blank stares. And standing in front of them were multiple ponies. Vampire ponies to be exact.

"You see this?" Night Sprout spoke. "This is where I got my Curse Magic. Where everypony here got theirs. But it wasn't fun getting this great magic in the first place. We weren't all born vampires. Some of us used to be half-vampires."

"Half vampires?" Darkrai repeated, keeping a close eye on the foals. He saw how these vampires went up to the foals who weren't vampires yet. And that's where the Curse Magic came in. They unleashed a horrific stream of magic that was full of nothing but haunting and vile curses. They moved around with the ferocity of a hurricane before then entering the foals.

Their blank eyes suddenly changed as it made the children start going crazy. They finally displayed some energy, but it was not for a good reason. This sense of adrenaline ended, making the children move in erratic ways. Various curses flowed within them. Each were equally virulent and downright horrible to experience when receiving it for the first time. Some of them were even in pain.

"Getting that curse magic made all of us go all crazy. It didn't just turn us into full-blooded vampires, it also made us forget about leaving this place and our real family."

"What did you say?!"

"Mhm. Those curses prevented us from wanting to do anything like that. OF course, that all changed once we got older and now I can go anywhere I want. But who cares about my entire family when I have only my mom back at Magehold? After forgetting about it, we all regained our memories, but Magehold was our home and nothing could change that."

"So, you were all benumbed for your magic..."

"Whatever that means. But yeah. It gets worse though. Getting Curse Magic wasn't easy to use or figure out how to use. So, a monster from Tartarus was the way to go."

Entering the scene was a creature from Tartarus. A terrifying one at that. A gigantic lion with an odd fur that looked as sharp as steel roared within this playful yet dreary room. Joining this lion were two other monsters. A gigantic eagle that had a bronze appearance with mighty talons that had great physical strength and lastly a sphinx.

These three creatures terrorized the children. Upon seeing these three beasts from Tartarus, the children fled in absolute fear while the older vampires watched. Once they ran, the three monsters chased them down, hunting the foals.

"Those monsters from Tartarus would terrorize us. They chased us down for 4 whole weeks. The place is big, so we had a lot of places to hide and run from them. My favourite was the lion, it was so cute."

When running from the beasts, the foals thought of every possible spot they could find. Meanwhile, the monsters were tearing up the place chasing them down and trying to find them. In every room they hid in, the monsters from Tartarus would smash their way in. The eagle had talons strong enough to shatter walls while the lion bashed through with its incredibly powerful fur.

No matter where the children hid, they would find them. Once the eagle broke down the walls, its eyes peered into the shattered hole, spotting groups of children cowering in fear. They screamed as the eagle would tear down the rest of the walls with its talons, forcing them to run again. The children barely got a chance to ever rest for even more than an hour.

And because of this, they had baggy eyes. Exhausted and tired from running from these monsters. It didn't help that it lasted for 4 weeks straight, way more for a child to handle. Perhaps an adult could handle it, but not these foals.

"We didn't eat, drink or sleep from all of that running. I think it was the magic that helped us. And speaking of magic...we were all so terrified of being chased down by those monsters that when we were finally back to a corner, that's when it happened. When we unleashed our magic."

After those 4 weeks of pursuit and fear, the monsters had them. They found a dead end in what seemed to be a wall of wilted flowers. These flowers were just as dangerous as the monsters, spewing out poison, so backing up against them was a terrible decision. Out of options and most likely to perish with either deadly force, there wasn't much they could do, except scream and cry.

And it was this breaking point of fear and despair, running away for so long that the Curse Magic within them had been unleashed, a massive burst of Curse Maic of all different colours had flared out from these ponies. Much like most magic, it was tied to their emotions and it showed greatly here as the Curse Magic was so great that it managed to fend off the monsters. They backed away as the horrors of Curse Magic could already be felt. Once they felt it, the monsters stood their ground, ceasing their attacks on the foals.

After finally unleashing their Curse Magic, the vampires applauded the young foals. And more importantly, Rosa Maledicta, the Lich Queen, watched over them, letting out a sinister smile.

"That's horrible...To have them bring out their magic in such a way."

"I've seen a lot of bad things in my time at Magehold, Darkrai." Night Sprout giggled. "I can show you a lot of them. One of the best parts about my magic is that I can show so many nightmares. It's just like you, Darkrai. How cool is that?!" She then continued laughing as Darkrai closed his eyes, taking all of this in.

"It's terrible..."

"Isn't it? Oh, I bet I'm the first to scare you, huh? Wait till I tell everypony back at Magehold. They might not believe me but...I'll know it's real. So. Are you scared? Are you? Are you?"

"I'm not scared."

"Huh?" Night Sprouted raised an eyebrow as that wasn't the response she was expecting. "Y-You're not?"

"It's terrible to look at...not terrifying to look at though." Darkrai opened his eyes. "When it comes to Nightmares, I not only grant them, but I know how to endure them. I've faced off against a malicious draconequus...this is nothing."

"Huh?! B-B-B-But...my nightmares!"

"I've seen all I needed to see. And while it's terrible to witness...there's nothing in this world, my world or any world that can strike fear into my heart!" Darkrai's eyes then widened as this nightmare was ineffective against him, making Night Sprout gasp in shock. With his overwhelming Infinity Energy, Darkrai was starting to break the memory that Night Sprout had made.

"Uh oh." Night Sprout scrunched fer face before realizing that she had been beaten. "That's to be expected from the Master of Nightmares. He's so cool..." She still couldn't help but admire Darkrai. "Ah! But I'm gonna be late for my next match at this rate! Gotta go! Before the entire place could break down before her, Night Sprout had already left with her energy apparition fading away.

Darkrai also felt that she was no longer within his claws. He looked over to see that her physical body was also gone. Darkrai stared it at for a bit before then finally breaking this nightmare that Night Sprout had shown her.

He was back in Equestria and the sunny weather that it encompassed. Darkrai left that nightmare, witnessing things he didn't expect, but was all the more prepared for thanks to his status as the Master of Nightmares. Night Sprout was indeed gone once he returned to reality.

She had managed to recover from a nightmare that easily as Darkrai looked around for her. "Hmm...She said she would be late for her next match. She's heading back to Canterlot...I'll meet her there." Darkrai descended into the shadows, heading back to Canterlot.

Now that he saw these nightmares, he learned a bit about Magehold. Seeing how those children were treated sparked a fire within Darkrai. But this fire was not targeted at Night Sprout. Not one bit.

Canterlot. Canterlot Stadium. Afternoon.

Night Sprout barely managed to return. The battle between her and Scotaloo was near. She had her cap and her jacket as her only form of disguise, quickly putting them back on. Thanks to her great speed as a vampire bat while also managing to stay within the shadows, Night Sprout barely made it.

The battle between Diamond Tiara and Quick Solver had happened with Diamond Tiara managing to win with a Toucannon. Her father's Pokemon.

"Tou...cannon!" Toucannon had used his signature move Beak Blast as a burst of fire is what took down the opposing Haunter.

"H-Haunter..."

"Haunter is unable to battle! Toucannon wins! Thus, the victor is Diamond Tiara!"

"Hah! Easy!" Diamond Tiara chuckled. "That was some fine performance there, Toucannon!"

"Toucannon."

"Hmm..." But after watching the battle, Scootaloo was feeling a bit worried about Blue Moon, wondering if she would show up. So far, that was not the case as this battle between Diamond Tiara and Quick Solve had already been solved.

"Made it!" Thankfully, she showed up. Night Sprout, or in this case Blue Moon, had rushed inside of the waiting room. She put her hoof over her hat, making sure that her disguise would not falter. "M-Made it..."

"Oh, there you are," said Nurse Joy. "We were getting worried that you wouldn't return in time. That must've been some meal.

"Sure was. Hehe." Blue Moon chuckled nervously, knowing that wasn't the case. Right now, she was also being targeted by the Pitch Black Pokemon Darkrai. "Sorry that I made you all worry."

"Ah, it's fine." Scootaloo walked over. "As long as you're here. Let's make this battle a good one, okay"?

"Okay." Night Sprout nodded, promising to give Scootaloo a fun battle. As for Darkrai, he had also returned to Canterlot, using the shadows to make quick movements and easy shortcuts. When returning, the Pitch Black Pokemon emerged near the waiting room.

He looked through it, spotting Night Sprout as he could easily spot her coat and mane colour. He saw that she was already heading out to the stadium, so a different view was needed as he sank into the shadows. Not only would he watch over her, but he would also head to the one pony who needed to hear this.

Princess Celestia.

As the journey continues.
