My Little Pokémon

Golden Sun and Silver Moon

Canterlot, very early morning.

The time had come for Celestia to raise the sun as she let out a tiny yawn whilst rubbing her eye.

"Pokemon Festival is in just 4 days. " She said to herself whilst still building up energy within. She used her magic to do what she normally does. Raising the sun.

She expected today to end up being peaceful and normal until the Pokemon Festival arrives which is when things get hectic. But Celestia, her little sister Luna and to an extent Pyrestar had no idea what was coming their way.

"Ugh..." Luna came out of her room, slumping on the floor as Celestia noticed.

"What's wrong, Luna?"

"Musharna...I had to give chase to her for 4 hours last night. I was only able to receive 5 hours of sleep..." Luna groaned. "I wish she wouldn't be so hyperactive during the night. It doesn't help that she comes out of her Poke Ball by force."

"No need to worry." Celestia helped her little sister up. "I'm sure you will find a way around Musharna's night-time escapades. If it's even possible."

"Mrrgh..." Luna grumbled as she nodded.

Just then, a royal guard came over with a letter at his disposal. "A letter your majesty. You uh...might want to see this more than anything."

"Hm?" Celestia took the letter from the guard, opening it up. He said they might want to see this more than anything so it must be important.

It was important. But not in the way they expected. One look at the letter as their eyes bulged out, their wings stood up as their horns were flashing aggressively.

"OH!" Both of them screamed. What they saw took them completely off guard as they both said these words in unison. "Mother and Father are coming for a visit?!"

"Arcanine..." Arcanine licked his paws as he overheard their words. But he didn't think too much of it so he just went back to sleep with Philomena landing on his head, creating a symbiotic relationship.

"They're visiting?! Now?! Of all times?!" Luna screeched.

"Who's visiting?" Darkrai emerged from the shadows beneath the floor.

"Mother and Father! They just had to pick a timeline such as this to come back..." Luna bit her hoof, shaking uncontrollably.

"And with Pokemon nonetheless..." Celestia looked up.

"Why so worried? They're just your parents. Aren't you thrilled to see them again?"

"You don't understand, Darkrai!" Luna grabbed Darkrai's face, pulling him close. "Them being here with Pokemon involved would be a disaster!"

"Why? Don't they already know we exist? You said that they see everything in Equestria."

"Oh, they do. But interacting is a very different story! I'm not sure they'd be able to withstand this new word. Especially mother."

"What exactly do you mean?"

"Well...There was this one moment in time when Celestia and I were still young." Luna began to reminisce of the past.

"Luna. Can you bring your sister over? She'll want to see this." Their mother Sunlight spoke to a very young unicorn Princess Luna.

"Hrrmmm...Why do I have to fetch her?" Luna grumbled.

"You don't have to!" A young unicorn Princess Celestia exclaimed as she came running into the room. "I heard about it! Mother! You brought me a-" Just then, Celestia ran a bit too fast as her hoof scraped on the edge of the door. "Ow!" It didn't hurt that much. Just a slight bump.

But to her mother, that slight bump wasn't slight at all. The moment she saw Celestia's hoof taking a tiny amount of damage, she lost it.

"CELESTIA!" Sunlight screeched. "MY SWEET CELESTIA HAS BEEN INJURED! MY ANGEL-" Sunlight suddenly passed out as her husband Eventide caught her.

"Eh! Sunlight!" Eventine gasped. "Sunlight!"

"It's just a bump..." Celestia blew on her hoof as Luna giggled afterwards.

"So your mother is amazingly strong yet super delicate emotionally?"

"Yes...Especially when it comes to family." Celestia sighed.

"Which is why with Pokemon involved, who knows what her reaction will be once she gets here. In fact, since she's been overseeing this new world along with father, she must've passed out so many times whenever we were in danger!" Luna gulped.

"Hm. Then you sort that out on your own. I can't meddle in family business." Darkrai returned to the shadows, going off to who-knows-where.

"Should we have everypony in Equestria keep the Pokemon inside of their Poke Balls?!" Luna turned to Celestia. "Find a way to seal off the gateway to the Pokemon World?!"

"No-no-no." Celestia shook her head. "Besides, you said it yourself, Luna. She's seen everything we've done involving Pokemon. She's most definitely seen my battle with Ghetsis and how I was injured severely."

"That's what I'm afraid of! What if she casts a spell that forces Pokemon to stay in their world?! She already knows how dangerous they can be!"

"Without a doubt she does. But she's also seen how we've bonded with our Pokemon as well." Celestia went over to Luna, putting her hoof around her little sister. "I'm sure she'll love Pokemon when she and father get here."

"I suppose. Oh, speaking of father...would he love or hate Pokemon I wonder?"

"Father has a very curious nature. Whether for better or for worse. We will just have to wait and see what happens."

The parents of Celestia and Luna. Also known as Eventide and Sunlight. Them visiting today can be considered a special occasion.

They haven't been seen for centuries ever since Celestia and Luna reached their teenage years. Their whereabouts remained a mystery to many with no trace of them being left behind.

Before Celestia, they were the two rulers of Equestria until their oldest child took over. But even with their century-long absence, many ponies of Equestria, even the modern-day ones, know about their existence thanks to history books.

Celestia and Luna stood near the balcony, expecting their parents to appear there since it was always their favourite spot to stay at together.

A beam of light shot down from the skies themselves, breaking through the clouds as Celestia and Luna had the biggest grin on their faces.

And why wouldn't they? They were going to see their parents once more after so long as the beam of light hit the balcony, spinning around like a turntable.

However, once the light dispersed, it was revealed that only one of them showed up. That being their mother. The former Queen of Equestria, Sunlight.

Looking almost like Celestia with slight differences, but one major thing that stuck out was how her body was constantly surrounded in this golden aura.

And what a delight it was to see their mother once more. Their faces were taken over by wide grins as they looked like their younger selves for a moment there.

"Celestia! Luna!" Sunlight suddenly rushed over to her daughters, hugging them with possibly the greatest embrace there was.

"Mother!" They both exclaimed as they took in their mother's warm embrace.

"My little ponies! It feels so wonderful to physically see you again!" Sunlight raised them up with her own strength since she was taller than them both.

"It's great to see you as well, mother!" Celestia grinned as she and Luna had been put down. "It's been actual centuries since we've seen you!"

"Indeed it has! Although, your father and I have been watching you every single day. Well, apart from when we sleep. I can finally interact with this brand new world at last! Where are those Pokemon of yours?" Sunlight moved her head around.

"Oh. Right. I believe you've already seen Passion and Arcanine right?" Celestia turned her head to her two Pokemon who had just seen Sunlight come in.

"Garde?" Passion's head peeking out as she was a bit shy and nervous to see the mother of the trainer she loves so much.

"Arc." Arcanine was more upfront than Passion as the Legendary Pokemon could sense the same positive vibes from Sunlight, much like his trainer as he went up to Sunlight, licking her. "Arcanine!"

"Aww!" Sunlight giggled as she put her hooves on Arcanine's fur. "So hot yet so soft at the same time! What a good boy!"

"Canine! Arcanine!"

"Passion. Come and say Hi." Celestia said to her partner.

"Gardevoir?" Passion scooted over to the side. She revealed her full self to Sunlight as she had no idea how to approach her. This was a bit similar to how Passion first met Celestia back in Lilycove City.

"Oh, come here you!" Sunlight welcomed her with open hooves. Her positivity radiated well with the Embrace Pokemon. It was so potent that Passion's shyness went away.

"Voir." Passion went up to Sunlight as she was then met with a surprise hug, which she enjoyed very much. "Gardevoir!"

"And where's that Darkrai fellow of yours, Luna? Hiding in the shadows again?"

"Oh, Darkrai? Well, Darkrai isn't so forward with greetings. He mostly meets others during the night or certain situations."

"Ah, so he's the bashful kind, I see." Sunlight giggled. She knew exactly what to say to get Darkrai out of the shadows.

"Bashful?!" Darkrai emerged from the shadows.

"There you are! Darkrai! I've been wanting to meet a Pokemon such as yourself!"

"Ah-" Darkrai realized that Sunlight tricked him into coming out of the shadows. "Urgh...Hello."

"Oh, someone's a bit of a grump." Sunlight appeared behind Darkrai. "You remind so much of Celestia's more rebellious years!"

"They weren't rebellious, mother..." Celestia pouted. "I was just a bit doleful, that's all."

"All of you. Thank you so much for protecting my little Celestia and Luna!" Sunlight pulled in Passion, Arcanine and Darkrai, giving them each her own loving hug.

It truly felt like the warm hold of a mother. Darkrai didn't want to make it seem like he was enjoying this at all. Even though he was.

"By the way...where is father, actually?" Luna looked around as she just realized that Eventide, their father, hadn't shown up.

"Hm? Oh. Your father's gone off to possess the body of that Ash Ketchum boy." Sunlight casually answered.

"He WHAT?!" Luna screeched. "Why?!"

"Well for three reasons. Your fondness to Ash, how Ash saved your life from those Nightmare Pokemon and because he's just curious about what a human body feels like."

"He cannot just do that! Ash's body is his own, it is off-limits from anypony!"

"Anypony except for you?" Sunlight teased.

"Mrrgh...!" Luna grumbled, looking away as she blushed.

"Don't worry. I'm sure they'll get along swimmingly. But right now...Let's catch some Pokemon!" Sunlight raised her hooves, flailing them about.

"Catch some Pokemon?" Celestia and Luna both said.

"Of course! You didn't think I'd miss out on this opportunity, did you? There's a 50% chance that both worlds will remain connected or will separate with everything returning to normal. So it's best to enjoy everything life has to offer before that happens! And involving myself with Pokemon is just what I might need! It looks so enjoyable from what I've seen!"

"She's right..." Celestia nodded. "Can't-miss an opportunity."

"Let's get rolling!" Sunlight cheered as she spread her wings out, ready to explore this new world for herself as her daughters followed.

Ponyville, day.

"Mienfoo! Mega Punch!" Rainbow Dash was currently training with Ash by having her Mienfoo go up against Ash's Lucario, to help Mienfoo improve and prepare for her future battles.

"Lucario! Block!"

The Martial Arts Pokemon thrust her paws towards Lucario while the Aura Pokemon caught her paw, blocking the Mega Punch.

"Foo-Foo!-Mienfoo!" Mienfoo repeatedly used Mega Punch whilst Lucario kept on casually preventing her from landing any hits. Lucario noticed that Mienfoo was getting feisty as she didn't see this as training anymore but an actual battle. "Mien!"

"Lu." Lucario, realizing that Mienfoo was getting a bit too adventurous, used his aura to push her back, forcing her to stop her assault.

"Mienfoo!" The Martial Arts Pokemon fell on her back.

"Mienfoo." Rainbow Dash flew over to her partner, helping her up. "It's just a training exercise, not a real battle, ya know."

"Foo." She crossed her arms, essentially saying that if it was a real battle, she would've mopped the floor with Lucario. Rainbow Dash chuckled at how stubborn Mienfoo was.

"But that's good." Ash put his hand on Lucario's shoulder. "Just shows how much Mienfoo wants to get stronger."

"Cario." Lucario nodded.

"Well, don't waste too much energy you two." Twilight flew over. "The Pokemon Festival is in four days and you'll need all the energy you can get. This second one's going to be longer than the first after all."

"Right. We'll be fully pumped up for it." Ash and Rainbow Dash bumped their hooves and fists together. "Alright, Dash. Let's try Dragonite and Altaria now."

"Sure!" Rainbow Dash dug into her saddlebag, ready to take out Altaria's Poke Ball. But from the corner of her eyes, she noticed a dark blue light shooting towards this direction. "Hm?" She raised her head, turning to where her eyes spotted this light.

The dark blue light was closing in, aiming directly for Ash from what she noticed. Naturally, this prompted Rainbow Dash to act fast. "Ash! Look out!" She shoved Ash out of the way, expecting to take the impact of this mysterious light herself.

But she was juked. The light transformed into a wisp as it flew over Rainbow Dash who ended up falling flat on her face. The wisp had then reached its target as it forced itself inside of Ash's body.

"Woah!" Ash gasped as he was frozen in place.

"Ash!" Everypony exclaimed as they witnessed this wisp suddenly enter Ash.

"Pikapi!"

They all watched as Ash suddenly lowered his head with his hat almost falling off. They believed that something horrible had happened to Ash as he was unresponsive all of a sudden.

But before they could act, Ash stood up tall, adjusting his hat and jacket as he looked like he was back to normal. Until he spoke.

"Hm. So this is what a human body feels like." Ash's voice was suddenly different. His normal voice could still be heard but it was layered with a deeper sounding voice that none of them have ever heard before.

"A-Ash? Are you okay?" Pinkie asked in a worried tone.

"Hm? Oh, no-no-no." Ash shook his head. "I'm not Ash Ketchum. I'm just possessing his body."

"Posse-" Twilight froze for a second before lighting her horn up. "Who are you?! Get out of Ash!"

"Who am I? You don't recognize my voice? Oh, well I suppose there's nothing in the Canterlot Library that allows somepony to hear the voices of the past after all. Unless..." Ash put his finger on his chin.

"Pi-Pikapi?"

"Voices of the past? Who are you exactly?" Rarity asked.

"Ahem." Ash cleared his throat. "I am King Eventide! The former ruler of Equestria alongside my wife Queen Sunlight!"

"..." They all froze for a minute, trying to process what they had just heard. Almost all of them had no idea what they had just heard except for Twilight, who recognized the name Eventide and Sunlight.

"...Who?" Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"King Eventide?!" Twilight screeched, startling all of her friends.

"Just Eventide. I'm no longer king anyway."

"Who's King Eventide?" Starlight turned to Twilight.

"How do you all not know of him?! He and Queen Sunlight were once the rulers of Equestria before Princess Celestia took over! I know he's centuries-old but we have records about him and Queen Sunlight!"

"Oooh..." They all nodded gently in unison.

"This generation's ponies are much more lively than my generation's. Ah, but that's not important right now. What is important is this body. I've never felt like this before!"

"Pika?"

"It's so flexible! So free and light yet it wields heavy amounts of power behind it! I could get used to this!"

"Y-You're not planning on possessing Ash's body forever, are you?" said Fluttershy.

"What? Of course not. I just wanted to test this out for myself. These humans are a species that greatly interest me. How they're able to tame these mighty beasts known as Pokemon. And speaking of which, hello there my little electric friend."

"Pikachu!" Pikachu hopped on his shoulder. Even if it wasn't Ash, just the body, he could still feel a bit of his trainer.

"Pokemon are such interesting creatures..." Eventide scratched Pikachu's chin. "It was worth leaving the Ambrosial Plane for this!"

"Ambrosial Plane?" Twilight squinted her eyes. "I've...never heard of that before."

"Well, it only makes sense. You won't find it in any books, ruins, countries or any source of history there is. It's an entirely different plane of existence with the highest dimension our world has to offer."

"A different plane of existence?" Twilight gawked.

"Only Sunlight and I have been there. It sounds lonely but it is actually thrilling with endless possibilities. But you don't want to hear me ramble. I suppose I should properly greet the boy who saved my daughter." Eventide finally left Ash's body by flowing out as a tiny little wisp.

"Ugh..." Ash held his head, feeling a bit woozy. "Hoo boy."

"Pikapi!"

"What happened...?"

"That." Starlight pointed her hoof at the wisp which was now taking form. The wisp spun around, forming a spiralling pillar as a silver aura emanated from it.

After the wisp had been dispersed, the former king of Equestria had been revealed. Eventide. Identical to his youngest daughter, Luna, showing which side of the family Luna gets her genes from as Eventide had a silver aura around him.

"Oooh!" Ash gawked. "Who's this?!"

"The one who just possessed you earlier. So this is King Eventide?" said Twilight.

"Feels wonderful to be back on solid ground once more. I haven't introduced myself to you, boy. My name is King Eventide. Or Eventide. No longer King."

"King...?" Ash observed Eventide's appearance as he noticed how he resembled Luna. Ash came to one possible conclusion. "Wait! Are you-"

"Celestia and Luna's father? You'd be correct." Eventide nodded.

"Awesome!" Ash grinned. "Wait you possessed my body? Just as cool too!"

"Hah! I like your enthusiasm and energy, boy!" Eventide went over to Ash, patting the human on the back. "Reminds me of my younger years! Wish I could gain that kind of energy back actually..."

"But wait. Why show up now?" Starlight asked.

"Ah, Sunlight and I were just curious. Curious about the same thing. Pokemon. These creatures, big or small, we've been observing them from the Ambrosial Plane." Eventide went over to Pikachu.

"Pika!"

"You too?" Fluttershy flew over to him. "They're amazing aren't they?!"

"Amazing doesn't begin to describe it. Out of everything I've seen in Equestria, from the past to the present, I have never come across a group of creatures that are so versatile in everything. Makes my many years of studies look pathetic actually."

"Wait, you said that you've been observing us from the Ambrosial Plane. Have you been watching everypony this entire time?" Rarity pondered.

"Right. I suppose the one benefit of transcending to the Ambrosial Plane is that you gain full omniscience. But um...it does get a bit uncomfortable being able to see everything."

"Lu..." Lucario knew how Eventide felt. Whilst Aura isn't on the same level as omniscience, every Lucario could still find out things that they preferred they never knew about by using aura to read trainers.

"Oh well. I'm rambling again. I came here to experience Pokemon for myself. Where to begin..." Eventide looked around.

"Shouldn't you be with your daughters?" Applejack squinted her eyes.

"Oh!" Eventide gasped. "Curses! My curiosity has ruined me! I forgot about my own daughters...!" Eventide was suddenly near a tree, curled up into a ball as he huddled. "They must hate me for being absent. I must be what the new generation call Deadbeat Dads..."

"No need to worry." Ash patted Eventide on the back.

"Pika-Pika,"

"You're right!" Eventide stood up. "I shall enjoy Pokemon whilst spending time with my daughters! The perfect balance! Ash Ketchum. You're the biggest Pokemon expert currently in this area. Mind touring an old relic such as my self."

"Sure thing! We'll have a blast!" Ash nodded.

"Pikachu!"

"Excellent! I sense that Sunlight and my daughters are..." Eventide was picking up on their presence due to his horn glowing blue. "They're hearing straight towards the Pikachu Highlands. I believe that's what it is called."

"That's not too far." Fluttershy looked at Pinkie Pie. "We can catch up to them easily."

"Correct! But we won't need trotting to do so. Everypony. Gather around me." Eventide commanded. And that's what they did.

Ash and the other's gathered around whilst Eventide's horn started to emanate. In no amount of time, Eventide had brought them near the Pikachu Highlands with an outstanding teleportation spell.

It took 5 seconds for everypony to realize that they had just been teleported as Eventide casually walked off. The teleportation was so fast that it took a while for them to process and register it.

"P-Pika?!"

"W-Whuuu-Huh?" Rainbow Dash's eyes widened as she and her friends almost lost their balance.

"Ooh. May have missed the mark. We're not directly at the Pikachu Highlands. I'm getting a bit rusty." Eventide sighed.

"That...That was fast..." Twilight looked at her hooves. "Is that what advanced alicorn magic is like?"

"Come on you all. We can probably beat them to the highlands first." Eventide called for them all. They all shook their heads with their brains finally processing the teleportation speed as they followed the former king to the highlands.

With Sunlight, Celestia and Luna, they had stopped by at Deerling Forest which was close to the Pokemon Highlands. Sunlight found the Deerling to be too cute to pass by.

"How precious!" Sunlight held a Winter form Deerling's face.

"Deer!" The Season Pokemon nuzzled its nose on Sunlight. "Deerling!"

"To think that I had almost missed out on something as amazing as this. Thank goodness the existence of Pokemon has been keeping the Rift entertained."

"She's still so excited isn't she..." Luna said.

"Hm." Celestia nodded. "Centuries later and not much has changed."

"Of course not." Sunlight had managed to hear them both. "The only time you will ever see me change is by appearance. After all, it took quite a while for my mane to become ethereal."

"I do wonder about that..." Luna tilted her head. "Our manes becoming ethereal at a certain age. How is it that it took much longer for you and father?"

"Who knows?" Sunlight shrugged. "Speaking of which, Celestia." She dashed over to her oldest daughter. "How goes your relationship with that Cobalion you love so much?"

"Hm? Well...It's...Unfortunately, I've been missing many opportunities to spend some time with him." Celestia lowered her head. "But I'm not sure that Cobalion minds at all."

"Oh. Don't feel so down, dear. It takes time. When I first met your father, it took about 12 years for us to get together, after all. Mostly due to many situations that just had to get in the way."

"I suppose. But I swear someday I'll find the perfect time. I just have to hope nothing important shows itself." Celestia sighed.

"Haha!" Sunlight chuckled. "Celestia, dear. Something important always shows up. No matter what. Anyway, let's head on over to the Pikachu Highlands. Those are by far my favourite Pokemon, even if I haven't met them yet!"

Excited as she can be, Sunlight trotted onwards to the Pikachu Highlands, waving goodbye to the Deerling's as her two daughters followed.

Eventually, the two groups ended up crossing paths with each other once they had arrived at the Pikachu Highlands together.

Ash and the others got to see what Celestia and Luna's mother looked like. And indeed, the genes were very effective as Sunlight was a near-perfect mirror of Celestia.

"Oh! You're Celestia and Luna's mother, right?!" Ash exclaimed as everypony else gawked at her.

"Pika?!"

"Oh! A Pikachu!" Sunlight appeared in front of Pikachu, standing next to Ash.

"Pi-Pikachu?!" The Electric Mouse Pokemon was startled as Sunlight ended up grabbing him with her hooves. "Pi?!"

"This is my first time holding one!" Sunlight brought Pikachu up to her face, rubbing her face on his as she squealed. "So soft and-"

"Pika...CHUUUU!" Pikachu responded by sending a blast of 100,000 volts of electricity that affected everyone in the entire area, minus the Pikachu's who either ate it up or weren't that affected.

"Electrifying..." Sunlight wailed as she coughed out smoke.

"Pikachu."

"100,000 volts of electricity from something so small..." Eventine groaned. "That is more than enough to restart a heart..."

"Pika!" The other Pikachu's called for Ash's Pikachu, welcoming him back to their wonderful highlands.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu waved back at his fellow Electric-Types as Sunlight placed him down. Pikachu ran over to them, deciding to do some catching up to his Pikachu pals. "Pika-Pika. Pikachu. PIKA!"

"Pika?!"They jerked back. "Pikachu?"

"Pika." Ash's Pikachu nodded.

"Oh, really?!" Fluttershy gasped with a wide smile on her face.

"What? What did they say?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Pikachu asked them if they wanted to join the upcoming Pokemon Festival and they all said yes! This is getting exciting!" Fluttershy translated as she squeed.

"All those Pikachu's in the festival...?" Spike began thinking of what that scenario might end up being. He pictured repeated sparks of electricity filling the festival in every location they go to. The skies might be covered in electricity by that point.

"Aw...I want a Pikachu of my own." Sunlight gushed. "Then I could bring it back with me to the Ambrosial Plane."

"Why not?" Pinkie bounced over. "You can have one right now!"

"I could but unfortunately...that's not possible..." Sunlight shook her head.

"What's not possible?" Rarity went up to her.

"Well, you see, there's a reason why we've been so absent from Equestria and only residing in the Ambrosial Plane." Eventide spoke. "It's our bodies."

"Your...bodies?" Twilight blurted.

"You see this aura around us?" Sunlight stood up, referring to the golden and silver aura that they had around them. "This aura is a sign of our current state."

"Before our leave to the Ambrosial Plane, we had both become Transcended Alicorns. Alicorns that have far transcended the natural laws of this world." Eventide spread his hoof around the highlands.

"There's...there's something higher than a regular Alicorn?!" Twilight gasped.

"Believe it or not." Sunlight nodded. "Our bodies are overflowing with magic. More than anypony can comprehend. It's because of this power that our bodies are constantly displaying the magic power. This aura is the pure manifestation of that."

"Unfortunately, because of our overwhelming magic power being shown at all times, being on this world is damaging and dangerous." Eventide changed the tone.

"Sadly, yes." Sunlight closed her eyes. "Our magic aura, if it stays in this world for too long, it will slowly destroy it bit by bit. We realized this when an entire mountainscape was wiped out once we reached this state."

"We thought there was no way to control such overwhelming power. But then, we learned about the one place where Transcended Alicorns can reside without harming anything. The Ambrosial Plane." Eventide raised his hoof into the air.

"Th Ambrosial Plane was built for Transcended Alicorns. However, strangely enough, we are the only ones there. We expected to see more Transcended Alicorns." Sunlight giggled.

"Our aura is perfect for that plane of existence. The magic there is healthy enough to overpower our own overwhelming magic. Thus, we chose to live there."

"Oooh...I always wondered where Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's parents were..." Rarity said to herself. "Now I know why they weren't present at all times."

"Being away from our daughters was difficult. A major flaw of being a Transcended Alicorn is that those around you will barely get the chance to see you again." Sunlight went over to Celestia and Luna.

"Aww..." Pinkie slumped. "That's a big bummer.

"Bummer indeed." Rainbow Dash nodded.

"However!" Eventide suddenly grabbed their attention. "That is no longer the case."

"It's not? How come?" Twilight questioned.

"Isn't it obvious? Look around you." Sunlight pointed her hoof at the entirety of the Pikachu Highlands and even Deerling Forest.

"...The Pikachu Highlands and Deerling Forest?" Twilight raised an eyebrow. "What part do they play?"

"Simple. The existence of Pokemon is constantly transforming this world. Since our world was never built for the Pokemon World in the first place, the Pokemon themselves have been changing the world around us, making it so that it fits their physiology and way of living." Sunlight explained.

"And since Pokemon are beings with incredibly destructive power, Equestria itself has grown stronger than it ever has. And because of this, our overwhelming magic power is no longer capable of damaging the world since it is much more durable than it normally is." Eventide smiled.

"So does that mean..." Celestia thought for a moment. "You will be coming by frequently now!?"

"That's right." Sunlight nodded. "Unfortunately, I still cannot bring a Pikachu to the Ambrosial Plane. It is for Transcended Alicorns only after all. Aah...what a shame! Pikachu is the perfect partner for me!"

"Maybe you can't bring a Pikachu along...but you can always come back to them at any time now that you can stand on this world without damaging it," Ash suggested.

"Oh! Good point, Ash!" Sunlight exclaimed. "Then in that case..." She turned over to the Pikachu's grinning at them. "I'll take my fill!"

"Oh, um!" Fluttershy flew in front of Sunlight. "S-Sorry, Queen Sunlight-"

"Please. Call me Sunlight. I'm no longer a Queen."

"Oh, okay. Sunlight. But um, the Pikachu's actually prefer to be here at their home. The Highlands. So, I'm not sure catching one is such a good idea."

"Eeeeh...? What a shame." Sunlight pouted as she quickly formed a smile on her face. "Then! I'll just find another Pikachu in the wild! Problem solved."

"She sure is chippy isn't she?" Starlight said to Celestia.

"That's our mother for you." Celestia giggled. "It's wonderful that father and she will be coming by more often. I can thank Pokemon for that."

"Mhm." Luna nodded.

"Ash. We didn't finish our training." Rainbow turned to Ash.

"Ah, right, right. Dragonite and Altaria, right?" Ash took out Dragonite's Poke Ball.

"Hm? Are you two planning to have a Pokemon Battle?" Eventide turned to them. "Oh, I've wanted to be next to a Pokemon Battle to see how they truly feel. Unfortunately, watching from another plane of existence doesn't give you the usual feelings and rush of emotions."

"You don't?" Pinkie said.

"We can see the battle from the Ambrosial Plane. Doesn't mean we can feel it. But this is different." Sunlight explained.

"Then in that case...let's show them what a Pokemon Battle really feels like up close." Ash grinned at Rainbow Dash.

"Sure thing!" Rainbow Dash used her wing to hold out Altaria's Poke Ball.

The two trainers backed up from each other as the Pikachu's of the Pikachu Highlands sat down to watch this battle along with everypony else.

"Alright. Al-" Just as Rainbow Dash was about to send Altaria out, Mienfoo forced herself out of the Poke Ball, knocking Altaria's Poke Ball out of Rainbow Dash's wing.

"Mien!"

"Ah! Mienfoo?!" Rainbow gasped. "You wanna battle instead?"

"Foo!" She replied with an aggressive head nod.

"Guess she wasn't satisfied with today's training session..." Fluttershy giggled.

"Ugh..." Rainbow Dash sighed. "Alright, fine. I'll put you in an actual battle since you're so insisting."

"Mienfoo!" The Martial Arts Pokemon got into a battling stance.

"In that case...Lucario! I choose you!" Ash sent out Lucario since he could tell that Mienfoo wanted to get a 1UP on the Aura Pokemon.

"Lucario!"

"Are you two ready?" Twilight, being the referee, looked over at both of them.

"Ready!" They both said.

"Alright. Battle Start!"

"Kay, Mienfoo! Use Mega Punch!"

"Foo!" The Martial Arts Pokemon ran towards Lucario, making the first move.

"Lucario! Force Palm!"

"Lu!" Lucario returned the favour by running up to Mienfoo as his right paw turned light blue

The two Fighting-Types clashed their paws against each other, releasing a burst of blue energy from it on contact. Mienfoo was blown away by this blue energy with Lucario proving to have the superior striking strength. "Mien!"

"Mienfoo! Recover and use Fury Swipes!"

"Foo!" Mienfoo recovered by sliding on the ground. She then brought out her hidden claws as they started to glow. "Mienfoo!" The Martial Arts Pokemon lunged straight towards Lucario with her claws being spread out.

"Double Team!"

"Ca!" Lucario juked Mienfoo out by creating multiple copies of himself.

"Mien?!" Mienfoo ended up swiping a clone as it vanished. She was now surrounded by multiple Lucario's from all sides.

"HIt them all Mienfoo!"

"Foo!" Not being intimidated by the clones, Mienfoo used Fury Swipes to rapidly strike every clone of Lucario around her. Her speed was her greatest asset since Mienfoo's naturally dominate with an onslaught of flowing, continuous attacks.

The clones of Lucario were being taken out by each swipe as Mienfoo was picking up in speed. "Lucario! Force Palm!"

The Lucario's that were remaining raised their arms, striking them down towards Mienfoo as each of them hit the Martial Arts Pokemon from all directions. "Cario!"

"Mienfoo!" Mienfoo was sent flying back from that multiple Force Palm impact as an explosion of blue energy was left afterwards with smoke trailing from her.

"We're not done yet! Rush in with Agility! Then use Mega Punch!" Rainbow Dash thrust her hoof out.

"Foo!" Mienfoo bolted forward with her speed being increased as she was moving so fast it looked like there were three copies of her as she concentrated all her strength into Mega Punch.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Lu...Ca!" Lucario puts his hands together, creating a blue ball of energy in between them. Lucario then fired the ball at Mienfoo who was still approaching.

"Mien...Foo!" Mienfoo struck her paws onto Aura Sphere, trying to push it back as she entered a small struggle with the blue ball. "M-Mienfo...!"

"Wide open! Force Palm one more time!"

"Lucario!" Lucario capitalised on this moment. With Mienfoo trying to send the Aura Sphere flying, the Aura Pokemon rushed in as his body was outlined in orange energy.

"Ah! Quick Mienfoo! Get away!"

"Foo?!" Mienfoo gasped as she turned her head, noticing that Lucario was right next to her.

"Luca!" With a heavy and concentrated blow, Lucario smashed his paw onto Mienfoo's face, rocketing the Martial Arts Pokemon as Aura Sphere could finally move again.

The last Aura Sphere connected with Mienfoo, creating a final blue explosion as the Martial Arts Pokemon tumbled on the ground.

That was all it took as Mienfoo had fainted. "Mi-Mienfoo..."

"Mienfoo is unable to-"

"Foo!" Suddenly, she got up in a heartbeat, surprising everypony and the Pikachu's here. "F-Foo..." But, she still wasn't strong enough so she fainted legitimately this time.

"..." Twilight paused, waiting for Mienfoo to get up. But she didn't. "Uh...Mienfoo is unable to battle! Lucario wins! Which means the victor is Ash!"

"Yes!" Sunlight stood up. "That was worth it all!" She startled the Pikachu's. "Now I want to involve myself in a Pokemon Battle! Come on, Eventide! We have some old disputes we have to settle!"

"Hm? Us? Battle?!" Eventide jerked back.

"Of course! I've already borrowed one of Luna's Poke Balls, so let's start catching some Pokemon and settle our many arguments!"

"W-When did she-" Luna looked at her saddlebag.

"Hmm...I'm not too sure." Eventide crossed his hooves. "It's been centuries..."

"Hoh?" Sunlight had a smug face. "Could it be that because you're no longer king, you've lost that warrior's spirit?"

"W-W-What?!" Of course not! I still have that spirit burning from within!" He stood up.

"Hm. Then prove it." She grinned.

"Fine! But I have a better way to approach. Ash Ketchum. Allow me to borrow your body once more to battle!"

"Father! You can't just-" Luna was about to say something until Ash cut her off.

"Sure!" Ash agreed.

"What?!" Luna gasped.

"Just leave the battling skills to me, Eventide." Ash pointed his thumb at himself.

"You are a great team player, Ash Ketchum!" Eventide entered Ash's body once more as his voice changed. "Now then, shall we commence battle?"

"Hmm...no fair." Sunlight pouted. "You're possessing the body of a champion. I'll pass on a battle." She sat back down.

"What?!" Eventide flew out of Ash. "Ugh...nevermind." He groaned as he laid on his back whilst everyone, including the Pikachu's laughed.

Canterlot, late afternoon.

The two alicorns enjoyed the rest of their visit by viewing the preparations for the Pokemon Festival which was in just four days from now.

Most of the necessary decorations for the festival had been set up with some of BigTime Ben's Pokemon bringing in the objects in crates.

In the meantime, they were given the pleasure of having some free food that would be at the festival, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few small bites.

Eventide went to the Canterlot Library to fuel his nostalgia as he re-read many of the books he rarely ever put down in his younger years.

Sunlight decided to goof off. When she was young, she barely attended most of her studies, and it seems as if she was still the same adventurous pony as before as he viewed all of Luna's Pokemon she currently had.

The day was coming to an end and Eventide and Sunlight had tired themselves out. They were planning on heading back to the Ambrosial Plains now.

"What a day. It feels so nostalgic and heartwarming to be physically here in Equestria..." Sunlight sighed.

"Mhm." Eventide nodded. "Unfortunately, this is where we take our leave."

"Aw...Will you come back?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well..." Eventide put his hoof on his chin. "We are interested in that Pokemon Festival..."

"Of course!" Sunlight screeched, startling her husband. "Thanks to Pokemon, we can come here as much as we like! So don't you worry."

"That is a relief. It's wonderful to have you back. Mother. Father." Celestia smiled.

"You two take-" Sunlight didn't finish her sentence due to one reason. She spotted Pyrestar watching from a distance. Pyrestar being the fusion of Celestia and Luna from another dimension meant that she was essentially another daughter of Sunlight.

"Hm?" Pyrestar looked over.

"I almost forgot." Sunlight went over to Pyrestar. "A fusion of my two beloved daughters." She let out a soft smile. "You look just like them...but sharper."

"Thank you. I can see myself in you as well. Truly a mother figure." Pyrestar nodded.

"Hah!" Sunlight chuckled. "But of course. I'm technically your mother, after all."

"Oh. I should have probably mentioned this. In my universe, I have a different mother and father."

"...Eh?" They all froze after Pyrestar's words. Out of everything that has happened today, this was the most shocking event yet. "EH?!"

"They are Queen Galaxia and King Cosmos. You see in alternate universes, it is more than just outcomes that are different."

"No way! That's awesome!" Ash gawked.

"Pika!"

"Nevermind Pokemon being the most amazing thing I've experienced today..." Eventide's eyes widened.

"Uh-huh..." Celestia and everypony nodded.

"But...I can see you being my mother as well." Pyrestar smiled. "You remind me of my own anyways. And I suppose King Eventide reminds me of my father as well."

"Just Eventide!"

"When we show up for the Pokemon festival, we'll all enjoy ourselves to the fullest! I'll actually get to experience it instead of spectating!" Sunlight squeed. "Eventide, dear! We'd best be going now!"

"Oh, right." Eventide walked towards his wife. "We shall see you all eventually at the festival." A bright yellow light surrounded them both.

"Good luck!" Sunlight gave off her final wave which prompted the others to wave back as the two Transcended Alicorns disappeared with a dazzling dispersion of light.

And that was it.

"Seems as if a gargantuan hole in our life has been repaired. Right sister?" Luna said to Celestia.

"Most definitely." She replied with a single and simple nod.

The visit from Eventide and Sunlight, formerly known as King Eventide and Queen Sunlight has been a success and not the trainwreck that Luna was expecting.

With the Pokemon World transforming Equestria and beyond, Eventide and Sunlight can now return frequently to this world without causing any further damage to it as the journey continues.
