//------------------------------// // Eventual demise via corrosion, Poison // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Ponyville. Afternoon. Within the 18 Realms compared to Reality, time worked differently. Everything that is happening in those realms trumps time in the real world greatly. Only 4 minutes have passed at the moment yet in the 18 realms, it felt at least 20 or more minutes had gone by. In those 4 minutes, Team Rocket had successfully grabbed many of the Pokemon, placing them inside of the giant Tangrowth-based machine that they made. Especially Ash's Pikachu, who was also within the 18 Realms, unresponsive. After grabbing a few more Pokemon for the afternoon, they were ready to leave and return to Giovanni with great news. But that was when the pony that they weren't too worried about had shown. Derpy Hooves. She saw the large Tangrowth Machine, wondering what it was before spotting Team Rocket. "Hey. What are you doing?" Derpy asked, curious. "Hm? Oh!" Jessie turned around, shooting up in shock. "You!" "Oooh. What's this big machine?" She flew over, admiring the giant machine and its appearance. "It's like a big Tangrwoth. Where'd you get this?" "Don't you worry about that, toots." Meowth slid over, shaking his head. "It ain't nothing too special, ya know." "Hm...Looks kinda tacky though..." Derpy observed, squinting her eyes and pouting her face. "Tacky?!" Jessie growled, shouting after that response from Derpy. She didn't take too kindly to it at all. "What do you know about machines?!" "Not much. Ooh! You can ask the Doctor to help you make it look better. I bet this baby could look extra stylish to anyone who sees it." Derpy then tapped her hoof on the machine. And when she did, she found a fault in it. An area that was not as fortified as the others. One tap and the machine started rumbling. "Hm?" "GEEEH!" Team Rocket screeched after seeing this rumbling. "Oops. My bad." Derpy apologized as the faulty part had come off, dropping to the ground. And once it came off, Derpy saw through the open hole, seeing what was inside. Many familiar Pokemon that she knew could be found there. "Oh hey. This is almost everypony's Pokemon." "HM!" Jessie crawled up the machine like a spider, getting in front of Derpy and blocking the open hole. "Nothing to see here, okay?! It's just a...big prize machine! Looks we need to get it reworked! Right, Meowth...?!" She then growled at Meowth with seething eyes moving to the side. "Hang on..." Derpy started doubting them. "Are you guys stealing again?" "Jig is up. No fooling even her." Meowth shrugged. "Hmph! Then in that case..." Jessie jumped off the machine, standing next to James. Even though they weren't wearing disguises, they still felt compelled to recite their many mottos to Derpy after being caught so quickly. "Uh...What are you doing?" Derpy asked as Jessie and James pulled off a pose. "That's a funny pose." "What a question, twerpish indeed!" Jessie started the motto. "We'll answer these questions when we feel the need!" James followed up. "Bringing the blinding white light of evil into the future!" "Thrusting the hammer of justice down onto the black darkness of the universe!" "Carving our names in the Rock of Eternity!" "The fiery destroyer, Jessie!" A background of fire appeared around Jessie, erupting with the force of a volcano and the Sun. "And with thunderous emotion, I am James!" The same went for James but with mighty thunderstorms booming around him. Soon, their backgrounds changed into the cosmos with a giant R beginning to form. "Wisest of the wise, Meowth!" Meowth then jumped into the frame with a backflip. "And now gather, under the name of Team Rocket!" And they all pulled off a final pose with the R of Team Rocket appearing, shining with a mighty gleam. "Wobbuffet!" "Oooh!" Derpy quite enjoyed that as she applauded. "Do it again!" "Prepare for-" Jessie was about to start the motto again before snapping out of it. "Hey! Only one take and we pulled it off perfectly! Plus, we've got some Pokemon to send back to the boss! Especially that special Pikachu we've been chasing for oh-so-long." "That's not very nice." Derpy frowned. "Isn't everyone here your friend?" "Eh. It was fun while it lasted." Meowth shrugged. "We'll remember them anyway. Plus a huge load's gonna be taken off our backs once we get Pikachu to the boss." "Then...I'll stop you." Derpy declared, pointing her hoof at them. "Pfft! Hah! You?!" Jessie wheezed, almost having a heart attack before laughing. "As if! You're not enough to handle the might of Team Rocket!" "I think I can." But Derpy was confident in herself, having a grin form on her face. "She has a point, you know..." James slid over, whispering in Jessie's ear. "Remember, some of them are trained by the twerp..." "OH. You've got a point. She could be a problem...and she already messed with our machine. Then in that case..." Team Rocket then separated, looking at the sky. "Bring on the Prize Master!" The three of them called out. "Pellip-Pepp-Pepper!" Along came Pelliper, making a cry before dropping the Rocket Prize Master. It then landed firmly on the ground with Team Rocket already rushing to it. "Feast your eyes," Jessie smirked. "Our secret Rocket Prize Master!" She and James announced to Derpy, who wasn't sure what she was looking at. "Yipee!" Meowth then lunged at the machine before turning upside down, inserting his coin charm into the machine. Jessie then started cranking the machine. "Who's that Pokemon?" James then grabbed the first Poke Ball with the Team Rocket insignia on it. Jessie then grabbed the second one that came out. In unison, they had thrown their Poke Balls, sending out the creatures lying within. For Jessie, it was Claydol while James received KlinKlang. "The Clay Doll Pokemon, Claydol!" Jessie announced. "The Gear Pokemon, KlinKlang!" "Get ready for a disappointing battle, twerpette!" Jessie chuckled with a glimmer in her eye. "We'll make this quick!" "Then it's Wooper for me. Okay, Wooper! Let's go!" Derpy exclaimed, but nothing happened. Wooper didn't show himself at all. "Hm? Wooper? Where'd you go?" Derpy looked around. She didn't have to search for long as she looked into the machine. Wooper had found himself inside the Tangrowth Machine via the hole that Derpy had made earlier. Curious as his trainer, Wooper was wandering about, walking over the unconscious Pokemon. "Wooper. Wooper." "Oh. There you are, buddy." Derpy poked her head inside, giggling. "Hey, I've got an idea. Why don't you put water in there?" "Hm?" Team Rocket then said before also looking inside of the hole, climbing up the machine. They also saw Wooper aimlessly moving in the machine. It didn't look too alarming to them at first until they saw water starting to drop out of Wooper's mouth. "Gaaah!" "Claydol, stop that Wooper, now!" Jessie screeched as Claydol teleported to her location. "Claydol!" The Clay Doll Pokemon had then used Psychic, telekinetically grabbing Wooper and lifting him off the pile of Pokemon bodies. "Woo?" Wooper noticed this grab before wondering what the big deal was. Team Rocket had a grand sigh of relief as Wooper had been pulled out of the hole with no damage done to the machine. "Hah... That was a close one." Jessie sighed. "Having your Wooper enter our machine to sabotage it while we were out here, were you?! Deviously clever, my little pony." "I guess that did that." Derpy giggled. "Let's have a battle now. Wooper and I won't let you take everyone away." "Wooper!" "Bring it on! Claydol, use Ancient Power!" "KlinKlang, Power Gem!" In unison, two Rock-Type moves were sent in Wooper's direction. Giant fossilized rocks alongside sparkling gemstones that moved at great speeds. "Wooper, Muddy Water!" "Woo...Per!" The Water Fish Pokemon released a spiralling water infused with mud from his body that appeared in multiple streams as well. The water had met with the rocks as Wooper's type advantage over Rock had shown. And with great power. The spiralling streams had ended up obliterating the rocks as Wooper's strength was greater than what Team Rocket was initially expecting. It was so great that not only did it break the rocks, but the water had struck the opposing Pokemon. Dealing super-effective damage on Claydol and not very effective damage on Klinklang. "C-Clay!" Claydol was knocked back whilst Klinklang stayed in place, still feeling some damage either way. "Why you...!" Jessie growled. "Grab him with Psychic!" "Dol!" Claydol's many eyes glowed as its head started spinning. Just like before, it had lifted the Water Fish Pokemon off the ground, keeping him in the air. "Now, Klinklang! Flash Cannon!" "Klang!" While Wooper was stuck in place, Klinklang took the opportunity to use Flash Cannon, releasing a beam of light energy. Wooper took the attack directly with a silver explosion occurring. Thankfully, Wooper was resistant to Steel-Type moves. But it still stung due to how fragile he was. "W-Woo...!" Wooper felt a bit dazed from that. "Excellent! Now give him a good throw around that'll make him sick!" "Clay!" Claydol kept using Psychic, ready to toss Wooper around like a ragdoll. It started by spinning his body around on the spot just to mess with him. But despite this, Derpy didn't look too worried. She didn't enjoy seeing Wooper put in a scenario like this but she kept her cool either way. "Wooper! Yawn!" "Woo..." Whilst being spun, Wooper opened his mouth as he released a blue bubble at the Ground-Psychic-Type. Right before Claydol could start launching and swinging him, the bubble then popped right in front of the Clay Doll Pokemon's face. When it popped, Claydol's body glowed yellow-green as it had instantly fallen asleep. Its Psychic hold had ended, dropping Wooper. "Aah!" Jessie screeched, running to Claydol's side. "Wake up! This is our big moment here and we can't lose like this!" "I got this! Another Flash Cannon, why won't you?!" "KIinklang!" Whilst Jessie was shaking Claydol, another Flash Cannon came in Wooper's way. "Let's try something else! How about um..." Derpy was thinking of a different move to try for variety aside from Muddy Water. But while she was thinking, Wooper acted on his own. The moment he took a step, he tripped on a rock, falling over. That trip caused the Flash Cannon to just miss him as it ended up hitting the machine instead. By an accident, Wooper had succeeded in sending the damage elsewhere. "Aaaah!" James yelled after seeing the machine take a hit. "Where are you even aiming at?!" Jessie growled, aggressively shaking James. "Good work, Wooper! Okay, now use Aqua Tail!" "Woo...!" Wooper leapt off of the ground, covering his tail in water. The Water-Ground-Type had then struck Klinklang with impressive physical strength. "Per!" Klinklang was sent flying into Jessie and James who weren't paying attention in that instance. They looked to the side, seeing the incoming Gear Pokemon as for the first time, they managed to avoid being hit by their own Pokemon. But as a result, Klinklang ended up crashing into Claydol. Both of them were sent flying from the attack. Just like that, Wooper had defeated them both with surprisingly little time. Albeit with some fumbles. "Yay!" Derpy picked up Wooper, hugging him. "You did great, Wooper!" "Woo!" "Is this a dream...?" Jessie stood there perplexed, still holding James. "Is this true reality...?" So did James. They didn't expect to lose like this. And it was worse since they didn't even blast off. Something they were always experiencing to happen. The fact that it didn't, almost disappointed them in a sense. That was their trademark. "It ain't over yet!" Meowth quickly rushed over to the Tangrowth machine along with Jessie and James. They had their last resort at their disposal. The machine itself. It wasn't just made to grab Pokemon. There was a control hub at the top of the machine, right between the eyes of the Tangrowth. Team Rocket quickly took control of it with Meowth at the helm. "Hm?" Derpy and Wooper looked up. "Woo?" "You're smarter than you look, twerpette!" Jessie both praised and taunted Derpy. "But your luck's run out! Here's where size matters!" "For once you agree on that," James replied to her as the Tangrowth machine's eyes glowed red. This massive hunk of meta would face off against a pony and her 0.4 m Pokemon. An unfair matchup from a first glance. Although, not many would see this since all of them were still within the 18 Realms. 18 Realms. The Poison Realm. Speaking of which, everything that had happened outside, while seemingly longer, was slower compared to the rapid time within the 18 Realms. And in one of those realms, the Poison one, destruction had been left behind. On this large island, the Giga Lucario had previously attacked Sunset Shimmer, who was still in her human form and Braixen after sending them here. A large crater had been left behind after the Giga Lucario's attack. And yet, despite all of that, they were safe. But barely. Braixen had used her Psychic abilities to protect mainly Sunset Shimmer. She couldn't fully protect herself. The Psychic shied had been lowered once the destruction and smoke subsided. Braixen was badly hurt, even getting poisoned as her fingers were touching the poisonous water. Sunset Shimmer had one eye open, seeing her partner injured. She was more surprised by that rather than how she survived. "B-Braixen..." "Hey!" But thankfully, they weren't the only ones there. Of course, since everyone chose a door that had different Pokemon Types they owned, one of them was here. And that was Roxie. She had arrived at the scene, already being protected by a strange pink mist. It didn't originate from Braixen at all. Once Roxie came over, she helped Sunset off the ground. "Hey. Are you okay?" "I'm fine..." Sunset groaned after being helped up. "Thanks uh...Roxie, right?" "That's me. I saw that explosion earlier and came to check on it. What happened? And what was that big Lucario in the sky all about?" "Right. A lot happened and...Braixen!" Sunset quickly ran over to Braixen, seeing how she was still on the ground. But as she went over to the Fox Pokemon, the poison was reaching her once more. Sunset slowed down, coughing once the poisonous gas flew by. "N-Not again..." However, that same mystical pink mist surrounding Roxie had appeared around her, fending off the poison. Sunset took a deep breath, looking to the sky as her heart was racing after that. But she quickly dismissed that, picking Braixen up from the ground. "Oh, Braixen...Thanks for saving me...But who's doing this?" "That would be her," Roxie answered Sunset's question, pointing her thumb to the individual just next to her. Sunset Shimmer turned around to see a Shiny Gardevoir here. For once, it wasn't just another Ethereal Lucario. "Gardevoir~" The Shiny Gardevoir waved. "A Gardevoir? Can you help my Braixen, please?! She's badly poisoned here!" "Voir." Gardevoir could do just that. She placed her hand over Braixen's fainted body. By using her Psychic abilities, Gardevoir was able to dispel the poison from Braixen's body. Braixen was still unconscious but she would recover. "Oh...Thank you." "This Gardevoir helped me out too," said Roxie. "I mean...I didn't really need the help. I always come with a gas mask in my bag in case of a Poison area." "You do?" "Sure do. But...my bag's not with me so...eh." Roxie shrugged. "Guess I did need the help. But this Gardevoir's been here the whole time on her own." "By herself? Wait? What about the Lucario? Aren't there any here?" Sunset looked around. "Voir." The Embrace Pokemon shook her head. She was truly just alone here. Fairly odd considering everywhere else had at least one or more Lucario laying around. "Oh...Well...I'd better find Fluttershy and everyone else. We got separated after those doors came out of nowhere. It looked like they went to the Ice Realm. I just wish I could contact her and everyone else. But I don't have my Xtransceiver with me. Or one at all." "But I do." Just then, Roxie revealed her Xtransceiver. The essential object in the Unova Region. "Check it! And as a bonus, since I'm a teacher at the Pokemon School, I've got a lot of Trainer numbers on here for my students. How nifty is that?" "Very nifty!" Sunset's eyes shot up. "Thank you so much, Roxie!" "I saw you head into the Fire Realm with Fluttershy and Scootaloo. So..." Roxie then turned on her Xtransceiver, seeing if she could contact them, even from a realm within a collection of minds. Thankfully, it was possible. After all, this was more than just a mindscape now. "Yes!" "Hello? Roxie?" Fluttershy could be seen. "Fluttershy!" Bursting into the scene, getting in front of Roxie was Sunset. "Oh, thank Celestia, you're both okay! What happened?! Where are you?!" "Oh. We got into some trouble in the Ice Realm. But we're fine. We were just going to see if you and Braixen were in the Grass Realm again but it looks like you're somewhere else. And Roxie's with you?" "And this Gardevoir that's been living here this whole time in the Poison Realm." Roxie showed Fluttershy the Shiny Gardevoir. Gardevoir bowed in response afterwards. "Still not sure what that's about." "I'd rather not be in the Poison realm right now..." Sunset sighed. "How about we head back to you?" "Sounds good. We'll see if we can find Applejack and the others in here too. See you soon." Fluttershy then hung up, glad that they were okay. So was Sunset. "Okay...Where's the door to this place?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "We have to leave somehow." "Yeah, I've been trying to figure that out too. This place isn't all that fun, anyway. Kinda boring for a Poison place. Maybe somewhere else could be fun." "Well, we did come back from an amusement park in a Fire-Type place of all places. So you've got a point there. But if there's no door, then maybe we can just make one appear." "Uh...How?" "The one at the Fire Realm disappeared at first but we were able to bring it back by helping the Lucario there. Well, Fluttershy did most of the helping. She had a fiery aura around her that made one show up. A Fairy Door." "Garde?" Gardevoir was alerted by that revelation. "I get what you're saying! Fluttershy's the one who can make those doors pop open, isn't she?" Roxie snapped. "Guess it's another call then, huh?" "I didn't mean it like that but...sure. If that works." Sunset went with it. It was a good idea on Roxie's part. Roxie called Fluttershy back, ready to give the request. But, Sunset was curious about Gardevoir and why she was here. "By the way, Gardevoir...How come you ended up here with all the Lucario? From how it sounds, you might've been trapped here." "Gardevoir." Gardevoir cleared her throat before deciding to speak. "Mm-mm. Much better." She threw Sunset off guard with her sudden speech. Roxie hadn't even noticed yet as she was speaking with Fluttershy. "Ah, my state in this realm. You can point to the Lucario in the sky. That would be his fault. Not mine." "That giant Lucario? I know it's dangerous but...how'd it get you in here?" "The power of Aura, of course. The same way many of the other Lucario ended up here, trapped. High mastery of Aura allowed that Lucario to create a realm for all of the Lucario and myself to be in. But those doors were never there before. Curious." "Oh. That's Rift Magic at play." Sunset chuckled. "But you've been trapped here for a long time, so I guess you wouldn't know about it." "But I would like to learn about it." Gardevoir smiled while closing her eyes. "And from how you word things, there are more of you, correct?" "There are. A lot of us got pulled in here when Ash, Twilight, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were trying to connect some of their own mind realms together and led to us accidentally showing up here. So, we got curious and decided to check out each door for ourselves. And here we are." "Oh, so that's how." "We're also trying to find a way to stop Delayed Aura Ataxia too and-" "What did you say?" Gardevoir interrupted her as her expression suddenly changed into a menacing one, startling Sunset Shimmer. "U-Uh..." Sunset lingered on her words for a beat, intimidated by Gardevoir's glare. "My apologies." Gardevoir chuckled. "You just startled me there by mention that. Hahaha!" "You're the one who startled me..." Sunset Shimmer sighed. "A-As I was saying, were' gonna try and see if we can find the source of it. And also find a way out of this place. That's kinda the main goal more than stopping Ataxia." "I see. And how do you plan on stopping it?" "No idea. Ash is the only one who can do it. I mean, he's got the biggest Aura in existence right now. He's still figuring it out but I know he'll find a way. He always does. And hey, he could free you from this place too since you're trapped here." "Hm. Good to know. I look forward to seeing how his progress with Aura goes. And you have me curious now. The biggest Aura in existence, eh?" "Yep. That's because he has the same Aura pattern as the Legendary Aura Guardian, Sir Aaron." "Sir Aaron...?!" "Looks like you know him too. That's why his Aura is so big. I think it might be the biggest in any generation so far from how grand it is. But I don't know. I'm still new to Pokemon stuff." "Okay. Thanks for the advice, Fluttershy." Roxie had finished speaking with Fluttershy as she hung up. "She'll be here, Sunset. In the meantime, Let's do some jamming." "Great. And uh...jamming?" Sunset said. "Yeah. Jam. I always like to play my guitar when I'm bored. You can try it too if you want. I could teach you some stuff." Roxie held her guitar out to Sunset. "Oh, gee. Thanks." Sunset grabbed the guitar." And yeah, I know something." "You two will be fine it seems. Even in this whole new realm." Gardevoir spoke as Roxie was just now hearing her use language that she could understand. "HUH! You can talk for real?!" Roxie pulled back after this reveal. "That's a shocker..." "Before you leave to somewhere else, why not wear these." Gardevoir then held out two necklaces that were fittingly in a purple colour of poison. "To remember me. I'm not too sure if you will ever return here considering your predicament. These necklaces will be good reminders, however." "Oh. Thank you, Gardevoir." Sunset gladly took the necklace. It was the least she could do since Gardevoir saved Braixen's life. The same went for Roxie but she took it due to how she was a Poison specialist. "Nice!" Roxie grinned. "This'll look great on me!" "Well. I'm no longer needed. I look forward to what you will all do next." Gardevoir bowed her head, closing her eyes before walking away, off to do whatever it is she does on a lone island such as this with no other Pokemon but herself. Not even any Ethereal Lucario to keep her company. "Shame she's all alone here..." Sunset uttered. "I'm surprised, she's managed to stay calm for so long." "Eh. Gardevoir are like that." Roxie shrugged. "They're pretty nonchalant all the time. Anyway, let's go." And so they waited. Fluttershy and her group would soon reunite with their friends. In the meanwhile, the Gardevoir had gone to the lower parts of the island where there was a poisonous cave. But her shield protected her either way. And once she entered the cave, the Embrace Pokemon stopped for a moment. There was complete silence around her as she looked ahead in the cave. That's when a glimmer of Aura could be seen. But that Aura came from some unconscious Lucario that was having its Aura flow out without any consciousness. Afterwards, a smile came on Gardevoir's face. Fluttershy and the others had arrived. The one way they found a way to open the door was by having someone else with a Poison-Type open the door. That person was Roseluck. She was found in the Grass-Type area with Applejack, Apple Bloom and Sceptile. But more than that, her ace, Roserade was Grass-Poison-Type. Thus, they opened the door. "There," said Roseluck. "So are you just gonna go back and forth with the Grass-Type area? Cause it sounds like you guys keep showing up there the most so far." "We know." Fluttershy giggled. "We'll be back there again anyway. There could still be something we can find in that realm." "Hey, Fluttershy! Applejack!" Sunset cried out towards them as Scootaloo could also be seen. They wasted no time, heading for the door to leave this poisonous area as soon as they could. "Did you find anything at the Grass Realm by the way?" "Nothing there." Applejack shook her head. "Not yet. We've still got those Pikachu Highlands to go." The door was closed as their conversation continued elsewhere. Now it was just Gardevoir and Lucario. She wasn't alone at all it seemed. She then turned away from the unconscious Lucario as the Aura started flowing in her direction. Just then, Gardevoir was absorbing the Aura, breathing it all in as it felt wonderful to her. But then, a frown formed on her face as she looked down. "This Aura won't do. But now..." She then regained her smile. "Learning of someone who has an Aura equal to Sir Aaron's? Possibly bigger? Excellent. Seems like all my work won't be for nothing." Then, the Giga Lucario appeared beside her. Only as a smaller head this time instead of a massive one. It was still fairly big as the Giga Lucario did not attack Gardevoir. "You've failed to get rid of them once more." She said to the Giga Lucario. "Surely you aren't the same Lucario that caused me so much trouble. Keep on trying. Soon, I'll step into the fray with a greater income of Aura." Grass Realm. They had all shown up at the Grass Realm this time, having a bigger group. As for this realm, nothing eventful was happening so far within it. According to Applejack, Apple Bloom and Roseluck, there was nothing at the Deerling Forest. But maybe something at the Pikachu Highlands could be found. And since there were more of them, they started searching. They even split up to see what they could find. But upon searching the highlands, the necklaces around Roxie and Sunset's necks were vibrating gently. Just then, they felt something itchy around their necks. "Ugh." Sunset winced as she started scratching her collar bone. "Something itches..." But she dismissed it along with Roxie. To them, it seemed like a minor annoyance at best. However, from the back of the necklaces, a poisonous sparkle embedded with Gardevoir's magic had flown out. They dropped to the ground, seeping inside of it without making a sound. The more Sunset and Roxie moved, the more they dropped everywhere. Whatever was up with those necklaces, they certainly weren't normal accessories. In the meanwhile, the Giga Lucario was on the move again. This time, it was heading for another realm. And as for the Gardevoir, she was about to do the same. Her main target was Ash. Hearing how he had a massive Aura was an instant catch for her. Gardevoir smirked as she used her Psychic powers to open a door to the 18 Realms out of thin air. It turned out she wasn't as stranded as she made herself to be. No. This Psychic-Fairy-Type had something else in mind. The grass was being infected over time. The poisonous sparkles were working their magic each time they fell. Not only that, but the bodies of Sunset Shimmer and Roxie were twitching. They felt greater itches arrive as it was hard to concentrate. "Grrr...!" Sunset growled, getting on her knees as she stopped near a tree. "What's with this?" She then sat by the tree as her veins were starting to show, starting from her arms. But they had a darker colouring thanks to the poison. Once she sat by the tree, it had been poisoned as well. Sunset whimpered as she wasn't sure what she was feeling. "Hey! You doing okay over there?!" Applejack noticed Sunset Shimmer's current status from afar as she hopped on Sceptile's back. The Forest Pokemon used his vines to swing to the scene. "Sunset! What's wrong?!" Applejack ran to her. But the moment she got close, one of the poisonous sparkles had been set off. Because of how they were constantly flowing out of the necklace, they were essentially like mines. And once she set it off, Applejack received its effects. She then fell to the ground all of a sudden, feeling drained. "Ugh..." "Applejack!" Sunset gasped before standing up. When she stood, the tree behind her had been fully poisoned to the point where it had toppled. "!" Sunset turned to see the tree falling her way. "Tile!" Sceptile quickly used his vines to pull them both away, swiftly saving them from harm. However, Sceptile's vines had been infected due to making contact with the two of them as they already had poison afflictions. The poison destroyed his vines while also reaching his hands. "S-Scep..." Sceptile was especially vulnerable to this, suffering from being a Grass-Type. "T-This is..." Sunset coughed, getting on one knee. "Poison...!" The poisonous sparkles had been continuously set off. Soon, they exuded a poisonous smoke that erupted from the ground. They reacted to each other once the first few had been afflicted. And with less subtlety than when they were planted, the poisons smoke made an audible sound and a visible sight. The smoke started spreading, affecting other poisonous sparkles to make it grow. Sunset and the others instantly backed away once they saw this appear. The grass had been poisoned, melting and corroding away from the dangerous poison as it was rapidly affecting the Deerling Forest. Thankfully, there were no real Deerling since this was still within a mind. But there was still the rest of their friends. Sunset laid on her back as the poison was eating her up. She started feeling like she was unable to move. Applejack felt the same as she breathed in and out. Sceptile's legs felt wobbly along with his vision. They nearly doubled over in pain as they tightly grasped their stomach. Ferocious cramps completely crippled them and they didn't seem to stop. Half their bodies felt numb, starting to give out. The sharp, burning sensation was all they could focus on. Their eyes darted all over, desperately searching for a way to relieve their body from this miserable feeling. Terrified they kept their eyes clamped shut. The world seemed to spin around them and a sharp, throbbing pain took hold of them. A sickening pain shot through their stomach, arms and hooves as they wrapped tightly around it. It was all they could do to not collapse and wither in misery on the ground which was already infected. It was exhausting and the pain took its toll on them. They tried as best they could to block out the pain, to find some form of meditative trance in order to cope with the agonizing sensations. They felt thirsty and tired, unsure of what to do. The skies were turning purple as Fluttershy and the others saw this from the other side. The trees were being consumed, either wilting or being erased completely as it was approaching Fluttershy, Apple Bloom Roseluck and their Pokemon. "I don't think so!" Just them as if nothing happened, Roxie was healthy once more. The poison was off of her and the necklace had been removed. Not only that but she had an Amoongus by her side along with her Toxicroack and Scolipede. "Amoonguss, get in there and suck the poison out with Giga Drain!" "Amoon!" The Mushroom Pokemon rushed forward, heading to Sunset, Sceptile and Applejack's side as fast as it could. It was immune to the poison due to its mushroom nature. In fact, it revelled in the poison. As did Roserade. Roserade stood in front of Roseluck, ready to protect her. Amoonguss used the power of Giga Drain, sending long vines out of its body. The vines wrapped around the three of them as the poison within them was being drained. Free food for Amoonguss. "Audi! Use Protect!" "Audino!" Audino put up a protective barrier to shield her friends from the poison. At least for as long as she can. "You do that! Roserade! Get in there and use Petal Blizzard to blow it all away!" "Rose!" Roserade got into the action, heading for the poisonous smoke as she was fine being within it. The Bouquet Pokemon then leapt into the air, spinning her arms out as she created a blizzard of petals. "Rose-Rose-Rose!" "Hey! You three!" Roxie came over, patting Sunset Shimmer on the face. Their veins were no longer showing as Amoonguss had fully drained it all. "Are you doing okay now?!" "N-Now I am..." Sunset groaned. "Neck's still itchy. What just happened?" "That Gardevoir tricked us. Those necklaces were poisonous." Roxie explained, helping Sunset Shimmer up. "It's a good thing I'm the Poison expert here. My Amoonguss and some of my Pokemon can suck the poison out no problem. It's free food for them." "Much obliged, Roxie." Applejack stretched her muscles. "That's much better. Faster than normal healing too." "Sceptile!" "Rade!" As for Roserade, with her rapid spinning, she was pushing the poisonous smoke away. The blizzard of petals had also blown away some f the sparkles that have yet to be activated, overpowering them. Thanks to the power of two Grass and Poison Types that were the same Dual Type, the issue of the poison had been solved. But with some substantial damage leftover. Roserade then stuck a stylish landing as the poison had been fended off. Scolipede and Toxicroack then gladly absorbed the rest for themselves. Soon, the Grass Realm was free of the poison as Amoonguss gladly ate the necklaces. "Amoon~" "Whew.." Roxie sighed as Fluttershy and the others ran over. "That was a close one." "I can't believe that Gardevoir would do that. Why?" Sunset wondered. Gardevoir seemed so nice and gentle. Much like every other Gardevoir out there. "No clue. But it looked like she wanted us out of the picture." Roxie replied. "What's this about a Gardevoir?" Applejack asked, out of the loop. "And what necklaces?" "Poisonous necklaces." Roxie tapped her neck. And it also looks like we don't have just a super big Lucario to watch out for. They all then looked at the now clear skies, worried about what else could come their way in this realm or even another realm that they could end up in. A Gardevoir with her own plans coupled with the team up with this Giga Lucario of an unknown origin and unknown purpose. All realms were in danger by this duo of Pokemon. A few knew but not everyone else. At least not yet as the journey continues. Chapter 646 End.
