My Little Pokémon

Cousin, my cousin

Equestria. Ponyville. Day.

Ash was currently showing his cousins Trey and Troy around Equestria. They would be staying for a few days due to the Christmas Holiday. For now, they were a part of this growing adventure that Ash and Pikachu are always one with.

In the meanwhile, their mother Hillary would spend time with her sister Delia back in Pallet Town, discussing the past, present and everything else.

"So. Do you guys like what you see so far? Ponyville's big on its own. Wait till you see Canterlot, Manehattan and a bunch more." said Ash.

"This place is so...colourful..." Trey winced as all of this pastel ambience was overwhelming with some saturation here and there.

"Very colourful..." Troy nodded in response to his big brother. "And it's pretty chilly too. Way more than home." He and Trey suddenly shivered.

"Yeah. This world's still pretty new with Pokemon. Almost two years soon. Back then, it was tough for Equestria to handle all of the Pokemon and what they do to everything. But after a while, everything got adjusted pretty easily. Though, the weather's still tough to get used to."

"Good to know. Most of your friends are here?" Trey asked.

"I've got a lot of friends on both sides. Sure, there's less here but they're growing. Isn't that right, Pikachu?"

"Pika-Pikachu."

"Are you guys hungry? My friend Pinkie Pie can make you something. She makes food as good as mom does, I'll tell y that." Ash raised his finger, already thinking about Pinkie's food. He and Pikachu started drooling from the thought of it. "Yeah...Good food..."

"Pika..."

"We can do more than just look around. We came all the way here from home so we'd better do something. Ash. I hear you're a Pokemon Champion, right?" Trey asked. "It's not just the Orange Islands League you won."

"Sure am. You ever heard of the Alola League. I'm the very first champion of it too. Too bad it's not as global since it's so new, ya know."

"I knew it!" Just then, Trey burst out with high enthusiasm and energy, startling Ash. He pumped his fist, feeling excited all of a sudden. "I knew it! Yes!"

"Uh, what's up?" Ash asked.

"My friends didn't believe me at all..."Trey regained his composure, clearing his throat and crossing his arms to act cool. "Everything about you and what you've done, they said it was fake. But it looks like it's all real. I-it is real...right?"

"Well-"

"Ash!" Interrupting the conversation was the approaching Apple Bloom. She didn't have Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle with her. Mostly because she had a question to ask Ash. "Hey, Ash!"

"Hey there!" Ash kneeled to face the filly. Apple Bloom ran into his arms as the Alola Champion picked the earth pony up, lifting her into the air.

"Yikes, they're small..." Troy and Trey were amazed by how the ponies scaled to humans. Apple Bloom was taller than Pikachu, especially when standing in a bipedal position, but it still doesn't compare to a human. Even the younger ones.

"Yeah. You could fit her in a shoebox, maybe." Trey whispered.

"What's up, Apple Bloom?" Ash asked.

"I just wanted your help. I wanna do something new besides catching Grass-Types only. Granny told me to do whatever I feel but I still don't know. Do you?"

"Ah...I gotcha. Well, have you thought about being a Gym Leader?"

"Thought about it. But Nah." Apple Bloom shook her head. "Maybe some other time."

"Hmm...What else is on your mind? Think about all the jobs you've seen everyone have. Like at the Pokemon School, back at the Pokemon World or anything, really."

"Jackie's pretty cool. I could be a Pokemon Ranger, maybe!" Apple Bloom gawked, thinking about everyone close to Ash. Each of them have various occupations. Even the Gym Leaders are more than just Gym Leaders. Examples like Roxie and Fantina are clear. "Maybe I could play for Roxie's band or..."

"See? Plenty of options just floating around. You choose carefully. You can ask all of the teachers for advice too once the Pokemon School reopens next year. And Brock too."

"Brock..." Apple Bloom lingered on that name for a while until her mind struck a goldmine. "I know!" She had something. Something that she could pursue. "I could become a Pokemon Breeder! It'd be like my Monotppe goal but..bigger! And with more Pokemon!"

"100% sure about that?"

"Eeyup!" She said with a proud and confident grin before noticing the two people behind Ash. "Oh, who are they?"

"These are my cousins. Trey and Troy." Ash introduced. "Just like your family, they're staying around for a while. Thought I'd show them Equestri before anything else."

"Well, howdy there, Trey and Troy!" Apple Bloom climbed onto Ash's shoulder, holding her hoof out try and shake with them. Trey was a bit taken back while Troy gladly shook with the filly. Due to the size difference, he ended up accidentally raising Apple Bloom from Ash's shoulder while shaking. "Woah!"

"Oops! My bad!" Trey gasped before letting go of Apple Bloom. The filly felt dazed afterwards.

"Um, Ash. The question. Is it true or not?" Trey brought the topic of Ash's status back into play.

"Hm? Oh yeah. It is. But I thought you knew about the Orange Islands? Didn't it show on TV?" Ash asked.

"Well, yeah but..." Trey then sheepishly turned his hat forward before turning it backwards again. "How about we get that food you mentioned already?" He switched the topic instantly.

"Sure. Oh, I should've also brought up Sweet Apple Acres. I could go for some pie too." Ash was now thinking of two food options. The pie at Sweet Apple Acres or the various pastries at SugarCube Corner.

"Now you've got me hungry too..." The same curse that infected Ash and Pikachu reached Apple Bloom. Even though she comes from Sweet Apple Acres. "Oh! But Pinkie Pie's not gonna let us touch the food until Hearth's Warming."

"Ah, you're right!" Ash exclaimed. "Apple pie it is."

"You know, we're not really hungry." But Trey rejected it. "How about something more fun. You brought us here for that, didn't you? Maybe tell us about what else you've done?"

"You're pretty focused on what I've done, huh?" Ash looked back at his cousin.

"I can tell ya something!" Apple Bloom interjected, having a plethora of things to tell Ash. "Ash is Equestria's hero! So is Pikachu! How's that sound?"

"You? For real?!" With more impressions being loaded, Troy couldn't help but see his cousin in a bigger light continuously. He showed the most expression while Trey tried keeping his reactions in check. At the same time, they would walk around Ponyville while Apple Bloom spills everything.

"Ash and Pikachu have saved us a bunch of times! From Tirek, Spiritomb, Malamar, Ghetsis and a whole bunch! I can name all of 'em! Just like those two!"

"No way you're that popular! Since when did you become a hero?!" Troy pointed at his cousin, finding it hard to believe that the Ash they knew from a while back could create such a reputation here.

"A lot of stuff happened in just a few months. Trust me." Ash could only reply with a chuckle. He then noticed Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy in the air, deciding to grab their attention. "Hey! Rainbow! Fluttershy!"

"So I'm thinking we-" Rainbow Dash's conversation with Fluttershy was interrupted once Ash called for them both. They spotted their friends below, quickly flying towards them. "Sup, Ash! What's going on?"

"Remember how I mentioned my cousins would be visiting. Here they are. Trey and Troy. Not to be confused with my friend Troy."

"Oh hey..." Just then, once Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy got close, Trey and Troy took a moment to realize how familiar these appearances were. Troy especially. "Don't they look like those toys?"

"Totally? Shot for shot." Troy nodded in response.

"Toys? Oh yeah. That whole marketing thing in Unova." Quickly, Rainbow Dash recalled the company in Unova that had made merchandise out of the Mane 6 due to their popularity. "Anyway. Nice to meet you guys. Just in time to hang out with us."

"Rainbow Dash, right?" Trey walked up. "I heard something about the Equestria League in this world. It's the newest league out of all of them. Is Ash in it?"

"Nah. Ash is passing on that. He's got something bigger in mind. Meanwhile, I'm gonna be Equestria's first-ever Pokemon Champion. Believe it, alright?"

"The second time you've brought up champion stuff today." Troy nudged his older brother. "Do you wanna say something, huh? Bro? Or are you too shy to spill it?"

"Huh?! What are you trying to say?!" In response, Trey gave his little brother a noogie, grinding his knuckles firmly after that initial taunt.

"Ow-ow-ow! I give, I give!" Troy cried out, holding Troy's arms as he tried pulling him off. The two of them started having a struggle, moving around as Trey had the superior grip.

"If you're shy to say something, I can help you out with it," Fluttershy suggested.

"I'm not shy! Besides I'm just curious!" Trey exclaimed in response, startling Fluttershy as Troy managed to break free from his brother's grasp.

"Hah..." Troy breathed in and out. "A-Anyway...M-My friends are pretty big on you." He then pointed at Fluttershy.

"Really? I'm popular?" Fluttershy looked at herself.

"As a toy. You're in this Christmas for a huge sale. And other stuff. We went shopping for stuff the other day and there was a whole aisle with dolls based around you ad everything. It was total chaos since a lot of kids wanted it. Pretty terrifying too." Trey thought back to how chaotic the shops were when it came to certain toys. But that was only natural every Christmas.

"I'm flattered!" Fluttershy squeed. "Do you hear that, Audi? Raboot? Chikorita?"

"Audino!"

"Come with us, you two." Rainbow Dash insisted that Trey and Troy follow them. It was high time they met the rest of Ash's friends. Everypony in Ponyville was Ash's friend due to all the experience. This would take a while.

They went to eat at Sweet Apple Acre as Ash and Pikachu wished to. The pie did not disappoint. Plus, Applejack's cousins were here as well, making it a cousin-filled area.

But while everyone was enjoying themselves, Trey sat up. "Thanks for the pie. It tastes great but...I wanna try doing something quickly. I'll be right back."

"Aw, but we were just getting to know each other," said Applejack. "Whaddya need?"

"Just a moment!" Trey put out his finger before rushing off. He seemed to be in a hurry. Ash was expecting to just introduce his cousins to all of his friends and have a good time. And while that was certainly happening, Trey was moving with a different kind of energy.

"What's up with Trey?" Ash asked Troy. "I've never seen him act like this before. Not even when we were kids."

"I can see it." Rainbow Dash uttered, drinking some cider in the process. "I know those movements all too well. Believe me. I'm an expert at it." She let out a confident grin.

"You sure are." Only for Applejack to reply with an unimpressed expression, knowing exactly what Rainbow Dash's mannerisms are in certain situations.

"He's hiding something, alright. I act all cool to do the same thing too. I mean...I am cool so I don't need to try all that much. Hehe." Rainbow Dash stroked her ego for a few seconds there.

"Hiding something, huh? Troy, do you know what it is?" Ash questioned.

"Oh." Troy paused midway through the pie he was eating. He then gulped it down with an audible sound. "Yeah, I do. It's kinda why he's been bringing up stuff about you being the Champion and other things. But he barely tells me a lot. He just sits there all like..." Troy then mimicked his older brother's stoic face, putting his hands inside of his pockets while slouching for a bit.

Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and a few others couldn't help but giggle at Troy's impression. He got a good laugh out of all of them. "Pika-Pikachu!" Pikachu and the other Pokemon found amusement out of it as well.

"But yeah. Even though he won't tell me, I know what it is. Brotherly instincts, ya know." Troy tapped his head. "We know what our siblings are always thinking about and trying to hide. You know what I mean, right guys?"

"Eeyup." Big Mac and a few of the other Apple Family members agreed to Troy's words.

"So spill it already. What is it?" Rainbow Dash nudged.

"Trey's just happy that you're doing great, Ash. Ever since he learned about you winning the Alola League not too long ago. Well...it was a few years back, he got super excited. The most I've seen him. I think it's because of everything that happened before the Alola League?"

"What happened before that?" Fluttershy asked.

"Uhh..." Troy tried being honest and careful with his words. He went for it either way. "Same reason why he was hoping you being the champion was true. Everyone at school used to make fun of him a lot. Just because you lost, Ash."

"Me?" Ash aimed at himself.

"Yeah. All those leagues. They get broadcasted on TV after all. Trey and I watch every single one of them whenever we see you on the screen. And we get psyched. I even carried this good luck charm that I got when I was young." Trey held out a charm that was in the shape of a Vicitini V. The ultimate symbol of good luck. "The Lucky V."

"Oooh..." Fluttershy was starstruck by it. "Can I still buy that somewhere?"

"They're mostly found in Unova and Kalos nowadays."

"Noted!" Fluttershy then flapped her wings in excitement as Trey continued the story.

"But every league, it got worse back at school for Trey whenever you were in a league."

Trey would always root for you, hoping that you'd win a league so he can show everyone at school and brag about it. But for a long time, that didn't happen.

"So much for that!" A boy exclaimed at Trey who was currently sitting at his table, embarrassed. "Told you he wouldn't make through the Johto League." Everyone then laughed at Trey as he hyped Ash up to a high degree, making him seem like an unstoppable force.

"He was just taken aback, okay?!" Trey stood up, yelling back. "It was a Pokemon he's never seen before from a completely different region! Besides, he won the Orange Islands League so that has to count for something!"

"I'll give you that. Beating the Champion Drake was impressive. So is reaching the Top 8. That's far, I guess."

"It is! Losing a second league isn't that big of a deal since he just won his last one. Just you watch! My cousin Ash is super good at getting used to things."

"Type matchups don't seem like one of them." A girl cackled as they continued laughing at Trey. He then put his hoodie over his head, trying to hide in embarrassment.

However, this mockery only continued into the Hoenn League. Years later, during Ash's journey throughout the Hoenn Region, he entered the Hoenn League, battling his way through it. He came across another challenging opponent who was on equal levels with him. Tyson and his fairly stylish Meowth were the largest obstacles.

Just like before, Trey was confident in his cousin's performance. He was older now as all of his friends, even those who mocked him about Ash were at higher grades now. Mainly Highschool.

"Come on, Ash..." He sat there, watching the battle take place and hoping for Ash's victory. On the TV screen, a fierce battle between Pikachu and Meowth was happening. This Meowth was an incredibly powerful Pokemon to deal with, matching Pikachu's strength and speed.

However, they were both fragile. Once they had damaged each other with a dual Iron Tail, the cat and mouse were on the verge of fainting. This was a tense moment. Mostly for Ash and Tyson but also for Trey. Trey's heart was beating as he was hoping that Meowth would fall before Pikachu does.

But unfortunately, Pikachu was the one to fall first. It was a well-fought battle on both sides. Ash and Tyson respected each other after their intense bout. Just like before, Ash took it well and vowed to improve.

Unfortunately, the opposite went for Trey. He did not take it well. Troy was also upset that Ash lost but not to a huge degree as his big brother.

"Aw, Top 8 again," said Troy. "That Meowth sure was strong, huh, Trey?" He turned to his little brother he did not respond at first. "Trey? Hey Trey?"

"I heard you." He replied with a sombre tone, slumping on the seat before turning the TV off. "Can't believe it..."

"Stuff like this happens." Trey shrugged. "Ash did his best. So did all of his Pokemon. He came close though. You never know. The next one could be it."

"They're gonna make so much fun at me back at school..." He groaned.

"You don't have to listen to them, Trey."

"Your brother's right." Into the room came Aunt Hillary. "All this Pokemon League watching, betting and expectations is messing with you. You seem so happy until something like that comes along."

"I know, I know. It's just that..." Trey stood up. "I've been rooting for Ash ever since he promised how he'd be the very best when he was a kid. It was something his dad said back then. I think it had something to do with dreams and maps and...I don't know. But I got it anyway."

"You can still root for him without looking so dry. Where's the proud smile of my baby boy?" Hillary grabbed his face, forcing a smile on Trey."

"Mom..." He grumbled as Troy couldn't help but laugh. However, even with words from his family, it didn't get better any further.

Then there was the Sinnoh League. It looked way better since Ash got into the Top 4. You should've seen Trey back then. I still remember how he reacted when got the Top 4. But then...this guy named Tobias was up next.

Years later, in the Sinnoh League, Ash had advanced through to the Top 4. After battling familiar rivals such as Nando, Conway, Barry and Paul, his greatest challenge came before him. Tobias.

The biggest problem was that Darkrai of his. Trey was ecstatic, seeing that there was hope for Ash to win this. But once Tobias' Darkrai came out, that hope dwindled. It had already defeated half of Ash's Pokemon as only Pikachu, Sceptile and Swellow remained. Only three.

Darkrai took out the other three effortlessly. Thankfully, Sceptile managed to take down the Pitch Black Pokemon. But that was only one Pokemon from Tobias' team down. The second one was a Latios.

"That's not fair!" Trey stood up from his seat. "That can't be fair!"

"Uh...Trey..." Troy tried calming him down.

Sceptile could not defeat Latios. Neither could Swellow. They were both taken out by the Eon Pokemon. Ash had only one Pokemon remaining. His tried and true, Pikachu. Pikachu put up an excellent battle against Latios and managed to defeat it. But it ended in a double faint. Thus, Tobias one.

And out of all of them, this was where Trey lost all hope for Ash afterwards. The Sinnoh League and Ash's fourth loss was where Trey's enthusiasm for rooting for Ash had died out.

"Well, look on the bright side. This is the first time he's made it to the Top 4." Troy tried lighting up the mood. "Maybe a few more leagues and he's got it!"

"Whatever." Trey felt unmoved by all of this. He then got off the seat, walking to his room. He could only think to himself afterwards. "Pokemon Master. Yeah, right..."

And for 2 more regions, it went on. It didn't fare any better in the Unova League and while Ash did considerably well in the Kalos League, reaching the Top 2, that wasn't enough to spark anything in Trey.

For those passing months throughout Ash's journey in Unova and then Kalos, Trey ended up his praise for Ash. This mostly occurred within his school as he no longer brought it up. He carried on.

"Hey, Trey. Did you see the Kalos League yesterday?" A boy went up to him.

"Heard about it, but didn't watch it."

"You didn't watch it? But your cousins was on there." A girl replied, shocked that Trey did not bring it up at all. "Plus, Top 2's not that bad at all, if you ask me."

"It's not that impressive. Honestly. He had to use some special Greninja to make it that far. The Greninja by itself wasn't even enough." Another boy scoffed, dismissing Ash's skills.

In response, Trey slammed his hands on the table, outraged at those words. Even though he didn't watch the leagues anymore, he would still defend his cousin. "My cousin's got more skill than any of you in this room combined! Special form or not! So why don't you just-"

"Trey." Entering the room was the teacher as Trey's outburst ended. All of the students stayed silent, feeling slightly intimidated by Trey. Trey then sat down, not wanting to get into trouble. He couldn't help himself.

"I guess because you inspired him just like your dad to you, Ash, he looked up to you. Just like I do with him. I tried being as cool as Trey. But now that I'm older, I'm cool in my own way. But when you won the Alola League, that's when everything changed right then and there."

"Oh! Trey! Trey!" Troy had burst into Trey's room, having exciting news to share. Trey was startled, almost falling out of his bed once his brother entered.

"Gah! W-What?!" Trey asked while looking over.

"Aunt Delia just called mom. Yesterday, Ash won a league!"

"He did?!" Trey jumped off the bed as he had to listen to it. "Which one?! Did he rematch any?! Johto?! Sinnoh?! Kalos?! Which?!"

"Um...I didn't know this one existed. It's the Alola League, apparently."

"Alola...League?"

"Yeah. It's the newest league. And Ash is the first champion. He won his second league, right after the Orange Islands. How cool is that! The wait is over, right? He finally won another one!"

"It actually happened...It happened again!" Thrilled with his arms in the air, Trey felt filled with hope once more. He lost it before but now he's retrieved it.

And clearly, he was off to tell everyone at school about this accomplishment, just to brag about it as always. Even at an older age, he never strayed away from that action. However, when he went to the school the other day, no one believed.

"As if! This is the same cousin who's lost like what? 6 times in a row?"

"So you don't believe me?!"

"Alola doesn't even have a League, Trey. You can't be the champion of something that isn't there."

"It does have a league! My aunt told my mom who-"

"That's your only proof? Sounds like something we'd hear back at fourth grade. All we needed to hear." They all then started laughing at Trey once more. No one believed him.

Due to Ash's past losses, they deemed it impossible and played it off as a joke. And Trey was helpless, unable to prove anything so far. It didn't help that the Alola League was recent and has never had a league in the past.

"Fine then!" Trey bellowed, making a new resolver for himself. "I'll take part in the Pokemon League...all of them!"

"You?!" Everyone's eyes widened after Trey's announcement.

"That's right! I'll show you all! I'll start from where he started. First I'll kick it in Kanto, then I'll head to Johto, next up will be Hoenn and beyond. And I'm a pretty quick adapter if you must know." Trey tapped his head. "I'll learn from Ash's past mistakes and become the ultimate champion!"

Present day.

"Good for the guy. Just like following in your family's footsteps," said Applejack.

"It was great that you won the league, Ash." Troy turned to Ash. "Trey was all kinds of motivated. But...he didn't win the other leagues."

"He didn't?" Ash replied.

"No. He was doing pretty good in Kanto but after that, it just went downhill. Everything was Top 16 for him all the way."

"Only Top 16?!" Rainbow Dash and a few others gasped.

"I was rooting for him. So was Aunt Hillary. But Trey felt like giving up on the league. He stopped right at Unova just three years ago. I don't know if-" Troy turned to the window as the sounds of a Fire-Type move being used could be heard. "What was that?"

"Audino." Audino heard it visibly.

"Sounds like a Charizard out there. What's going on?" Fluttershy translated. Ash stood up to go and see his cousin. He had to after everything Troy told him.

Just near Sweet Apple Acres, Trey was currently with his Charizard, using Flamethrower in the distance. He didn't go out to get something. Instead, he was just there to practice. Ash witnessed how his cousin was mimicking similar movements that he used to do back then. It was clear that Trey was trying to be like his cousin and also improve.

"Charizard!" Charizard's mouth exuded smoke after using Flamethrower.

"It needs a farther reach," said Trey. "Let's try again."

"Hey, Trey." Ash alerted him whilst approaching.

"A-Ash!" He stammered once turning around. "Uh...I...I was just hanging out with Charizard. Thought I'd do it for a bit. Plus, Charizard's good for winter since he can heat me up."

"Zard?"

"Sure. I know why." But Ash could see through him, putting his hand on Trey's shoulders.

"You do?"

"Mhm. You're training for the next league, aren't you? Troy told us everything. Like how you watched all of my League matches back then. From start to finish."

"I did...And man, they blew." Trey pouted. "I was starting to lose hope in you, Ash. You're the one who told me not to give up on my dreams when we were younger. And with all of that losing at those other leagues, I thought those words didn't mean much at all."

"But I never gave up on them, did I? Look where I am now." Ash put his hand on himself. "Sure, I lost those leagues. But I grew from them, ya know."

"Yeah, yeah...But no one even thinks the Alola League is real...Plus they don't consider it at all since it's still new." The cousin put his hands in pockets, looking to the side. "It's totally not fair. And I thought I could win the rest of them but...guess not."

"It's not easy." Ash nodded in response as he and Trey sat down. "All the time, I'm doing what I can to be the very best. I can't guarantee that it'll pan out with all my efforts. But that doesn't stop me and it never will. I know you never gave up hope on me, Trey."

"You knew?"

"Yeah. And Troy told me too." Ash laughed. "And if you didn't give up on me, then I won't either. We're cousins. We support each other as family." He then placed his hand on Trey's shoulder. "You lost the leagues. Just like me."

"But it was lower than yours...Top 16 only..." Trey sighed.

"Ah, who cares about that? You can't be perfect on your first go. Plus, you gotta find your own battling style and make it work. A whole bunch of Trainers are out there. Some are extra strong like I've never seen before. Especially at the Pokemon World Championships, which I'm in.

"Wait...You're competing in that?"

"Sure am. I've been doing great too. I'm aiming to beat Leon and become number one. Even if those numbers don't mean much to me, Top 16, 8 or whatever, it's not gonna stop me from trying to get better. And you can get better too. Along with Charizard."

"Pika-Pika!"

"Yeah. I guess I was kinda setting myself up for disaster there, huh?" Trey chuckled before taking in everything Ash said. "I just wish I could show everyone back at school and-"

"Don't worry about them. Besides, very soon, everyone in the world is gonna know who I am." Ash then stood up, adjusting his hat. "I'll beat Leon, become the World's Strongest Trainer and Champion and it'll take me one step closer to becoming a Pokemon Master!" He pointed to the sky. "You can count on that!"

"Pikachu!"

"Oooh..." Trey's eyes shot up with starstruck. Seeing this reminded him why he had so much hope for Ash. This endless drive that he had inspired his cousin. "Yeah! I know you'll beat Leon! 100%!"

"Well, I can't guarantee it'll be 100%..." Ash laughed. "Leons' crazy strong. Plus I gotta get through a lot more tough opponents if I wanna reach him."

"And you will!" Trey stood up. "I'll be rooting for you along the way! Become number one, okay?!"

"I'll shoot for it." He then held his fist out as both cousins gave each other a fist bump. "Now come on. Let's finish up that food. And maybe later, we can take you to the Pokemon House to catch some Pokemon."

"What's a Pokemon House?" Trey followed Ash as he had a lot to see and experience here in Equestria.

The expectations that family members put on each other are to be expected. While they may never be met, sometimes, they branch into something greater and eventually converge to not only come back to those expectations but surpass them. Trey was still learning that. But even still, his hope for Ash, while it may dwindle, will never fully die out as the journey continues.

Chapter 627 End.
