Ash vs Ghetsis: Round 2

Pyrestar's world, day.

"Hydreigon! Dark Pulse!"

"Hydreigon!" Starting first was Hydreigon who had summoned black spheres on all three of his headmouths, shooting them towards Ash and his Pokemon in the form of black and purple beams imbued with dark thoughts. All three of them merged to create an even larger Dark Pulse.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Luca!" Lucario put his arms out, forming a large ball of Aura to nullify Dark Pulse. The merged Dark Pulse clashed with Aura Sphere as Lucario felt a slight stagger from it. Hydreigon's Dark Pulse was certainly not something to scoff at, considering how much Ghetsis has been powering him up. But either way, Aura Sphere and Dark Pulse cancelled each other out.

"One won't do for you!" Ghetsis took out the rest of his Poke Balls, sending out his remaining Pokemon to deal with Ash's party of Pokemon and for a quick ending to this. His Pokemon consisted of Toxicroak, Drapion, Bisharp, Cofagrigus and Eelektross.

"Toxicroak!"

"Drapion!"

"Bisharp!"

"Cofagrigus!"

"Deal with them immediately." Ghetsis pointed his staff over at Ash and his Pokemon. "Make sure none of them are even breathing afterwards!"

"Tox!" Toxicroak and the rest of Ghetsis' Pokemon cried out in understanding together as they each focused on Ash's Pokemon. Ghetsis had more Pokemon than Ash. A full team of 6. Ash was just missing one Pokemon to make it even.

"Alright, guys! Let's-" But before Ash could finish his sentence, with his quick reaction time, he suddenly jumped back as a crystal had emerged from the floor, almost going through him. But he just managed to avoid it. Of course, that crystal came from Ghetsis' dark magic as his hand was out.

"As for you! I'll have you all to myself!" Ghetsis exclaimed with a maniacal smile directed towards Ash.

"Alright, guys! Handle yourselves, okay! I won't be able to give out commands a bunch in this!" Ash spoke to his Pokemon as they all nodded in agreement. They would have to make their own commands mostly instead of just listening to Ash.

"Hydreigon! Dragon Rush!"

"Drei!" Immediately, the Brutal Pokemon covered himself in a dark dragon-shaped aura before charging at the opposing Pokemon. At the same time, Ghetsis had summoned more crystals, sending them towards Ash.

"Chu...Pika!" Pikachu immediately defended Ash by swinging his tail with Iron Tail, shattering the crystals. Hydreigon appeared in front of Pikachu with Dragon Rush, ready to crash right into him.

"Drago!" Dragonite flew in the way, using Dragon Claw to protect Pikachu. Just like that, Dragon Claw and Dragon Rush had collided with Hydreigon breaking through and hitting Dragonite right in the stomach. "Gonite!"

"Drei!" Hydreigon continued Dragon Rush as he continuously rushed Dragonite by smashing her with his headmouths non-stop with each hit being harder than the last. And Dragonite was taking all of these hits to the face and stomach at such high speeds while being pushed through many walls in the castle.

"D-Dra-Dragonite!"

"Hydreigon!" Afterwards, Hydreigon delivered one last hit with his main head, smashing it onto Dragonite's head as the Dragon Pokemon had been launched far, breaking through the rest of the rooms while Team Plasma grunts were running away in fear of being caught up in this destructive battle.

"Drapion!" Drapion, using its many legs, crawled up the wall, using Brutal Swing to try and hit Gengar who was moving around in zigzag patterns.

Ash then backed away as Ghetsis kept summoning crystals to try and hit him. There were instances where the crystals getting closer to hitting Ash as they seemed to be increasing in speed. Ash had soon left the lab of Colress as Ghetsis began chasing him down.

But instead of running or even walking, Ghetsis, using his dark magic, had descended into the shadows themselves. When moving in the shadows, like a Ghost-Type, was essentially moving at a quicker pace this time. He followed Ash out of the lab with his red eye glowing in the shadows.

"Farfetch'd!" Farfetch'd went for both Cofagrigus and Eelektross, using Night Slash to try and hit them both up close as Lucario ran towards Bisharp.

"Cofagri!" Cofagrigus, using its four hands had grabbed Farfetch'd preventing him from using Night Slash.

"Fetch'd?"

"Eel!" With Farfetch'd being held by Cofagrigus's hands, Eelektross took the opportunity to strike by using Zap Cannon, aiming it straight for the restrained Farfetch'd.

"Far!" Not wanting to be hit, Farfetch'd still kept Night Slash active. But while he couldn't properly swing it to hit Cofragrigus' arms, he could just throw it.

And that's what he did.

With dark coating around the large leek, Farfecth'd launched his weapon, hitting Cofagrigus square in the face with a super-effective hit, knocking the Coffin Pokemon back.

"C-Cofa!" Cofagrigus flinched as that allowed Farfetch'd to break free. And at the right time too. Zap Cannon had just been fired by Eelektross but Farfetch'd's quick thinking with his leek had saved him. The Wild Duck Pokemon then looked up, seeing his leek spin in the air after rebounding off of Cofragrigus as a result of that hit to the face.

He then leapt into the air as he grabbed his leek back before using Fury Cutter, smashing Eelektross in the head with it. "E-Eelek!"

"Farfetch'd!"

"Luca!" Lucario was currently going up close and personal with Bisharp. This Bisharp was a bit different from the Triad's Bisharp. It certainly shared Ghetsis' tenacity, making it far more dangerous than the rest. Lucario was clashing his palms with Bisharp's bladed arms. It was Force Palm vs Psycho Cut.

Lucario managed to get a heavy hit to Bisharp's face with Force Palm, but to his surprise, more durable than it appeared to be, Bisharp retaliated by immediately hitting Lucario's stomach with Psycho Cut, causing the Aura Pokemon to wince. Lucario was pushed back afterwards as he slid on the floor.

"Bisharp!" The Sword Blade Pokemon leapt back before swinging its bladed arms, sending pink waves of sharp cutting Psychic energy instead of continuing to go up close and personal. The blades came towards Lucario before the Aura Pokemon quickly countered by using Aura Sphere, shooting a sphere of pure Aura towards the blades. They cancelled each other out in the end with smoke forming.

Lucario then moved through the smoke, going for Force Palm as he had also used Double Team to try and throw Bisharp off guard. Bisharp saw the multiple Lucario as it retaliated by using Psycho Cut, swinging its blades everywhere to try and find the real Lucario.

The many purple blades of Psychic energy came flying out as they had struck the approaching Lucario, exposing one clone after the other. But not the real one. Just then, the remaining Lucario each put their palms out, using Force Palm in unison.

Bisharp had used Revenge in a hurry, allowing Lucario to land his hit as the Sword Blade Pokemon spread its arms out. Lucario's clones then merged back into him as he unleashed Force Palm, hitting Bisharp's stomach, returning the favour of Psycho Cut.

A direct hit and Bisharp had definitely felt that. But after being hit and knocked back, the Dark-Steel-Type covered its body in a red aura before lunging back at the Fighting-Steel-Type. "Sharp!"

"Ca!?" Lucario gasped as Bisharp moved at blinding speeds, leaving a red trail behind. Before he knew it, Lucario had received some of the damage that he had given to Bisharp right back with the Sword Blade Pokemon slashing him with its blades. "Luca!"

"Toxicroak!" As for Toxicroak, it just went for whoever. The Toxic Mouth Pokemon lunged towards Pikachu, going for Poison Jab. "Croak!"

"Pika!" Pikachu quickly used Iron Tail, using Steel's immunity to Poison to his advantage, nullifying Poison Jab while blocking it with his tail. Afterwards, Pikachu then jumped over Toxicroak, going for an overhead hit. But the Poison-FIghting-Type put its arms up to block it.

"Toxicroak!"

"Pika!" Pikachu smirked as he suddenly lit his body up with electricity while his tail has still on Toxicroak's hands. The Electric Mouse Pokemon had used Thunderbolt around his body, causing it to immediately latch onto Toxicroak, sending 100,000 volts through the Toxic Mouth Pokemon.

"T-T-Tox!"

"Chu...Pika!" After shocking Toxicroack, Pikachu used Iron Tail one more time, whacking the Poison-Fighting-Type in the face and sending it flying. Toxicroak was actually sent straight towards Drapion who was still focused on Gengar.

"Dra?" Drapion turned around, noticing its teammate heading this way. Before it could move out of the way and get off the wall, its fellow Poison-Type had crashed into it, damaging the wall and Drapion itself.

"Gengar!" Gengar cackled, laughing at Drapion being hit by its own opponent. After that, the Shadow Pokemon then zoomed in, using Ice Punch on them both. The two Poison-Types had been knocked through the walls of the castle via Gengar's Ice Punch instead of just falling to the ground.

"Hydrei!" However, after Gengar had knocked them both away, along came Hydreigon, zooming towards the Shadow Pokemon as he cast a shadow over Gengar.

"Gen?!" Gengar gasped, turning around as the Brutal Pokemon immediately used Throat Chop, smashing the Shadow Pokemon in the head with one of his headmouths. SInce Gengar didn't exactly have a throat as it is a Ghost-Type, anywhere on the Ghost-Poison-Types body would do.

"Dreigon!"

"Gengar!" Gengar hit the ground hard after being rocketed down by Hydreigon's Throat Chop. As if that wasn't enough, Hydreigon was going for Dark Pulse while Gengar was down on the ground.

"Dragonite!" Luckily, Dragonite had just recovered from that devastating Dragon Rush as she flew back, catching Hydreigon by surprise via Dragon Claw. Before Hydreigon could unload Dark Pulse onto Gengar, Dragonite came flying in, slapping the side of Hydreigon's face with her green draconic claws.

"D-Drei!" Hydreigon was sent spiralling as Dragonite then followed up by using Hyper Beam. She opened her mouth wide, unloading a raging concentrated beam of infinity energy that raced toward Hydreigon. Hydregion recovered in the air with his wings. However, his recovery wasn't quick enough to evade Hyper Beam.

So instead of evading it, he fought back by using his own Hyper Beam. The Brutal Pokemon fired a Hyper Beam from his main mouth, entering a beam struggle with Dragonite.

But it didn't last very long. Both Hyper Beam's, proving to be equal in power, just cancelled each other out. However, their cancellation meant one thing. When two attacks that mass and magnitude clash together, a furious explosive outburst in the shape of sphere spread out, blowing both Dragonite and Hydreigon back as it kept expanding. The result of the two Hyper Beams blowing up against each other was so vast that it even caught the others.

Minus Gengar and Cofagrigus since they were both Ghost-Types. However, everyone else wasn't as fortunate as the two Ghost-Types. Some were able to resist it like Lucario and Bisharp thanks to their Steel-Typing however. The giant sphere engulfed the room destroying most of it. Colress' lab was barely functional at this point. At least, the front part of it. The back part was still undamaged from all this battling.

And that was where the rest of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon were being kept at.

Meanwhile, with Ash and Ghetsis, Ash was still avoiding the tyrannical ruler as crystals were being sent his way with Ghetsis' hands popping out of the shadows. From below and above. Ghetsis closed in on Ash by moving swiftly through the shadows, using the darkest corners of the castle for extra speed.

"I have you now!" After getting close enough, Ghetsis' shadow appeared below Ash as he jumped out of the shadow, summoning a large crystal that appeared beside him.

"!" Ash gasped as Ghetsis had sent the crystal forward, trying to pierce Ash with it. Ash evaded by swaying his body to the side, but the crystal had torn a piece of his shirt off while also clipping his hair a bit.

"Haha!" Ghetsis cackled as he then used the crystal once more, mentally raising it to try and smash Ash's head with it. But, with a quick reaction time and a new approach, Ash found a method to try and block these crystals on his own.

RIght on his back, he grabbed Sir Aaron's staff which was now strapped onto his back. By grabbing the legendary staff, Ash put it in front of him. The crystal had made contact with the staff and surprisingly, not only did the staff not break, but it barely even received any damage.

"That staff..." Ghetsis took a good look at the staff, noticing the Lucario dreads on the side and the blue crystal in the middle. An appearance like this only matched one thing. "Where did you get that?"

"Like I'd tell you!" Ash exclaimed as the staff was suddenly reacting to his Aura. After reacting to Ash's Aura, the staff created a pulse of aura that had blown away the crystal that Ghetsis had made while also pushing Ghetsis himself back. Ash then took a moment to pause, glaring at the staff after it reacted to his Aura in such a way. "Whoa."

"Tch." Ghetsis felt a sting after being pushed back by Ash's Aura. With an Aura like his similar to Sir Aaron's interacting with Ghetsis, the sting was equal to getting by fire. "Figures. Of course, you'd find a way to utilize Aura."

"It responded to me?" Ash said before grinning. He now realized that he could actually do something without having his Pokemon do the attacking. Having the Staff of Sir Aaron in his hand was revealing what Ash could be capable of with Aura if used more.

"Seems like you don't know yourself. Excellent! I'll be easier to destroy you before you learn!" Ghetsis put his hand out, sending black shadows out in the form of a stream. Ash, yet again, instinctively put the staff forward to try and block it. And once more, the staff reacted to Ash's Aura, coating him in its azure colouring. The shadows interacted with Ash as his Aura expanded, blowing the shadows back.

Seeing that, Ash saw that the staff was utilizing his Aura, reacting to danger at the right moment. Whatever Ash does, the staff reacts to his actions. "Oh, I get it now.." Ash nodded, finally understanding the staff before facing Ghetsis. "Okay! Now I'm ready!"

With a confident grin as always, Ash used the Aura from the staff, generating a giant blue blinding light that shined around him. The light made contact with Ghetsis' eyes, temporarily blinding him for a few seconds. Ash then used staff once more to see what he could do. He wasn't too tapped into Aura and only knew the limited options like Aura Barriers, Aura Spheres from both humans and Lucario, Aura Senses and that's about it. But with this staff, there might be more he could do.

Without knowing what else he could do with Aura, Ghetsis was now focused on removing the staff from Ash's grasp. With that staff, some unnecessary problems will come his way. But as Ghetsis was about to attack Ash, through the walls nearby, Pikachu came flying out, tumbling on the floor along with Lucario. The Electric Mouse Pokemon bumped Ghetsis on the head before falling next to his trainer.

"P-Pika!"

"Luca!"

"Pikachu! Lucario!" Ash gasped.

"Pika...!" Pikachu got up from the floor along with Lucario. They were most likely sent here after the Hyper Beam explosion caused by both Dragonite and Hydreigon.

And speaking of Dragonite and Hydreigon, the two of them were currently moving across the castle. Hydreigon had busted through the ceiling, passing Ash and Ghetsis by as Dragonite followed him. Both Pokemon had used Dragon Claw, exchanging hits while also levelling parts of the castle.

Most of the Team Plasma grunts had already left the castle, but even so, the destruction was spreading so much that anything outside would be affected too.

"Dreigon!" Hydreigon had used Fire Blast with Dragonite evading it. But that one Fire Blast blew a massive hole in the wall, causing giant rubble to fall from below, threatening anyone on the ground outside.

"Pikachu! Electroweb on the floor!"

"Pika-Pika-Pikachu!" Pikachu quickly rolled in the air before summoning a small spark of electricity. He then slammed the web onto the floor, creating an electrical net floor trap, spreading it towards Ghetsis' direction.

Ghetsis flinched from the electricity making contact with him. He was given some electrical shocks along the way. He gripped onto his staff as if even took a step anyway, electrical shocks were just waiting for him. To escape from this, Ghetsis moved his body to the nearest shadow on the wall.

Bisharp had emerged from one of the broken walls, moving its head around before spotting Lucario. Not only that, but Gengar had emerged, flying back as Drapion kept trying to hit the Shadow Pokemon, shooting constant Dark Pulses, only to keep on missing.

Bolts of electricity from Eelektross could be seen flying out as they were also trying to hit Gengar. But, Gengar's advantage as a crafty Ghost was a major benefit since its movements are unpredictable. That didn't mean it was untouchable, however. In some cases anyway.

"Lucario, use Aura Sphere! Pikachu, speed it up with Iron Tail."

"Lucario!" Lucario quickly put his hands forward as Bisharp approached the Aura Pokemon with Psycho Cut in store. He then hurled the sphere forward before Pikachu lunged towards it, hardening his tail.

"Chu...Pika!" Pikachu smacked his tail onto the Aura Sphere, giving it a boost in speed and power as Aura Sphere moved at the speed of a bullet.

"Sharp?!" Bisharp gasped at this extra speed as it tried to cancel it out with Psycho Cut. But it was too late. Aura Sphere's added speed was too fast for the Sword Blade Pokemon. Thus, the Dark-Steel-Pokemon had been struck by it, spinning into the air. But after that, Toxicroak used its own teammate as a platform to get some extra jump height.

"Toxicroak!" The Toxic Mouth Pokemon, now at a high distance, closed in on Pikachu with Poison Jab, ready to poison him for good this time.

"Far!" But along came Farfetch'd, swinging his leek and blocking Toxicroak from even touching Pikachu or anyone else. Toxicroak had been forced back by Farfetch'd's Fury Cutter with both moves equalizing.

"Let's finish this! Lucario! Aura Sphere! Pikachu, Thunderbolt! And Farfetch'd Fury Cutter!" Ash commanded, pointing directly at Toxicroack, Bisharp and Eelektross.

"Luca!" Lucario held a single Aura Sphere in his palm as he suddenly ran over instead of staying back with Aura Sphere like always. Farfetch'd ran beside him while Pikachu just jumped in the air.

Bisharp and Toxicroak each approached Lucario and Farfetch'd, with Psycho Cut and Mud-Slap each. The first to come in contact with their opponents was Lucario. The Aura Pokemon had actually ducked, avoiding Toxicorak and Bisharp's swings entirely. After ducking and running past them, Farfetch'd emerged, throwing his leek directly at Toxicroak's face.

"C-Croak!" The Toxic Mouth Pokemon flinched.

"Lucario!" Lucario then struck at the right moment, slamming his Aura Sphere onto Toxicroak's back, increasing its size. After being hit in the back, Toxicroak had been consumed by the giant Sphere, practically encasing the Poison-Fighting-Type in it. Afterwards, Lucario then let go of the sphere, launching it like a rocket. The Aura Sphere, now holding Toxicroak inside was heading straight for both Eelektross and Bisharp.

"Bisharp!" Bisharp put its arms out, facing the sphere, planning on using Metal Burst to try and counter this attack and send it right back at its opponents while Eelektross just used Flamethrower, breathing scorching hot flames onto it.

"Pika...Chu!" And that's when Pikachu attacked. After changing up enough electricity, Pikachu sent a lightning bolt containing not 100,000 volts but 200,000 volts this time.

The wider Thunderbolt had struck both Bisharp and Eelektross while they were distracted with Aura Sphere. They felt 200,000 volts go through them as Aura Sphere had hit its mark. The two of them had been struck by the giant sphere of Aura along with Toxicroak inside.

Lucario covered his eyes along with Pikachu and Farfecth'd as the ball of Aura blew up, forming a dome shape that further destroyed the inside of the castle.

As the explosion went off, Ghetsis emerged from the shadows finally, sending a black bolt towards Ash. Ash took notice of this with the ringing of the staff as he turned around, placing a protective Aura shield around him. Ghetsis then descended as he used his own staff to try and hit Ash. But of course, having a staff of his own, Ash blocked it.

"Persistent brat! You barely even know how to use Aura! You should've been long gone by now from what I'm capable of!"

"Sorry to disappoint! But I'm not falling yet! Not until I become a Pokemon Master!"

"I'll make sure you won't live to see the day that you become a Pokemon Master!" Ghetsis yelled before pulling his staff back, he then used his own arm to swing his staff at Ash. Ash Ketchum continued to block with the Staff of Sir Aaron. The staff seemed practically indestructible as each time Ghetsis' staff connected with it, it showed zero signs of breaking.

Bisharp, Toxicroak and Eeleektross had each fainted after being hit by Aura Sphere. Now the only ones left were Hydreigon, Drapion and Cofargrius.

But Gengar had the Drapion and Cofagrigus part covered. The Shadow Pokemon had been caught by Drapion's tail after minutes of chasing. The Ogre Scorp Pokemon then slammed Gengar onto the ground with its tail holding onto the Ghost-Poison-Type.

"Drapion!"

"Gen!" Gengar grimaced after that harsh hit the floor as Cofargigus readied a Shadow Ball with its four hands. Drapion held Gengar up to Cofagrigus so that Shadow Ball would be a direct hit. But in a stroke of genius, if it can even be called that, Gengar, using its teeth, had bit Drapion's tail.

"D-Dra!" Drapion certainly felt that its grip on Gengar weakened, allowing the Shadow Pokemon to break free. And the moment the grip loosed with Gengar flying away, Cofagrigus sent Shadow Ball down. But instead of hitting Gengar, Drapion took the brunt of it as a shadowy explosion coated it. "Dra!"

"Gar!" Gengar moved through the smoke made by Shadow Ball as it had its own Shadow Ball ready. Gengar appeared in front of Cofagrigus with two Shadow Balls in its hands.

"Gri?!"

"Gar!" Gengar then placed both Shadow Balls onto Cofagrigus's face, mushing them into the Coffin Pokemon as if it was feeding it food. Cofagrigus, after being force-fed Shadow Ball was met with one last attack from Gengar while hurling through the air. "Gengar!" One last time, Gengar used Night Shade, shooting black and red-coloured rays from its eyes.

From the immediate Shadow Balls then transitioning to Night Shade, Cofagrigus had taken two super-effective moves in just a few seconds. Technically four since Gengar had two Shadow Balls. The Coffin Pokemon crashed into the wall after that devastating combination, fainting afterwards.

"Drapion!" Drapion turned around, shooting Dark Pulse directly at Gengar while it wasn't looking, shooting the Shadow Pokemon out of the air.

"Gen!"

"Pika!" But along came Pikachu with Iron Tail. He ran past the fainted Pokemon while using Quick Attack for extra speed. After Drapion had struck Gengar, the Electric Mouse Pokemon returned the favour by slapping Drapion square in the face with Iron Tail.

"D-Drapion?!" Drapion certainly felt that. The velocity from Quick Attack had boosted the strength of Iron Tail when it made contact with something. The Ogre Scorp Pokemon was almost knocked off its feet.

"Pika!" Pikachu, after hitting Drapion in the face, then rolled back before using Thunderbolt. Out came 100,000 volts from his body, coating the Poison-Dark-Type in its electrical fury. As if that wasn't enough, Gengar chimed in by using Shadow Ball, throwing it while ascending into the air.

The combination of Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball was certainly powerful enough to do the trick. While Drapion was strong defensively against anyone that uses physical attacks, against special and ranged attacks, not so much. And it certainly showed once an explosive outburst of yellow and purple emerged. And once the smoke cleared, Drapion had fainted.

That was 5 of Ghetsis' Pokemon down. And only one remained.

Hydreigon.

Speaking of which, Dragonite was sent through the ceiling with Hyper Beam thanks to Hydreigon. The Dragon Pokemon tumbled on the floor after crashing through as she landed next to Gengar.

"D-Dra!"

"Gengar?!" Gengar flew over to Dragonite, asking if she was okay. But the moment he went over, flying through the ceiling wall was Hydreigon who was mostly focused on Dragonite. The two of them have battled before and they certainly have some bad blood with each other.

"Hydreigon!" Hydreigon used Brutal Swing on two of his headmouths as he appeared before Gengar. Before Gengar knew it, the Brutal Pokemon smacked both of his dark-coated headmouths twice, giving Gengar a horrible slap and hurling it through the air.

"Ah! Gengar!" Ash looked up, seeing Gengar sent flying as the Shadow Pokemon had fainted midair from Hydreigon's Brutal Swing. Ghetsis grinned as he pushed his staff forward, pushing Ash to the ground.

"Seems like the rest of my Pokemon are down!" Ghetsis exclaimed as he raised his staff, sending it towards Ash. And once again, Ash's quick reaction time coupled with Aura had saved him. He moved his head out of the way, avoiding Ghetsis' staff as the staff pierced through the ground, leaving a crater. "That's fine! I still have more in store!" He cackled as Ash got back up, moving back.

"This is gonna take longer than I thought..."

Equestria. High up in the skies.

Zekrom's rampage had been begun. Already, the Deep Black Pokemon was terrorizing the land with innocent Pokemon living in different parts of it by firing electricity from his mouth. He wasn't even using a Pokemon move to do this. It was just natural.

Zekrom's electricity immediately torched the grasslands in a second. The pure plasma that resides within it was potent enough to do so as many Pokemon were fleeing for their lives. Mass explosions cluttered the landscape, going off continuously each time Zekrom flew by. Mountains had been obliterated as some of them even fell off, almost crushing the Pokemon below.

"Arca!" Luckily, that's where Arcanine came in. By using his blinding speed, he rescued any Pokemon that were in danger of being crushed from above by any falling debris from Zekrom's Rampage. All the while having Sunset Shimmer ride on his back.

Celestia and Passion did the same as well. With Passion having Adagio ride on her back, she and Celestia were pursuing Zekrom, trying to stop him. Zekrom's flying speed was tremendous, making it hard for Celestia's group to keep up with him. In fact, they have yet to land an attack on Zekrom since he was so fast and far away. Zekrom had left the area he was sent out in just 7 minutes ago and he was already in one place to another. But eventually, they managed to catch up and get in good range at last. The time to strike was now.

"Passion! Use Dazzling Gleam!"

"Gardevoir!" Passion put her hands together, forming a pink sphere of Fairy magic. She then aimed it directly at the Deep Black Pokemon, having him in her sights. The Embrace Pokemon then fired a multitude of rainbow-coloured rays.

The rays had hit their mark, repeatedly hitting Zekrom's back with super-effective hits each time. Zekrom's attention had been grabbed after those hits to the back as he turned around, spotting Celestia, Passion and Adagio.

"Oh no, it sees us..." adagio, who was actually intimidated by Zekrom, gulped while holding tightly onto Passion. And Zekrom definitely saw them as enemies after that attack from Passion.

In response, the Deep Black Pokemon used one of his moves to try and blast them out of the sky. That move was Flash Cannon. By opening his mouth, the Dragon of Ideals had generated a silver ball whilst flying backwards.

"Here comes Flash Cannon! Passion dodge and use Dazzling Gleam!"

"Voir!" Passion understood as she waited for the right moment for Zekrom to fire. And when Zekrom did fire, the beam was faster than expected. So fast that even Passion with her precise and quick thinking was in shock by the otherworldly speed of this move. "Garde?!"

But she was able to avoid it in time along with Celestia as they both flew under the silver beam. Afterwards, both Celestia and Passion attacked. Passion used Dazzling Gleam again while Celestia unleashed a beam of magic from her horn.

But unfortunately, Zekrom's evasion speed was just as great as his flying and firing speed. The Deep Black Pokemon evaded Dazzling Gleam and Celestia's magic by soaring into the sky, blowing the clouds behind him away while also causing seismic waves.

"Voir?!"

"Oh!" Both Celestia and Passion gasped as they looked up. Before they knew it, Zekrom had used one of his signature moves. Fusion Bolt. The Deep Black Pokemon's tail started glowing light blue with electricity. He was about to use one of his signature moves. Zekrom's body then became surrounded by a sphere of violet electricity as he then charged forward like a rocket.

"This I don't need!" Adagio winced as she used her siren wings to fly off of Passion's back considering that a giant Dragon was coming her way. She held the jar closely as Zekrom burnt the clouds themselves from the sheer heat of his electricity.

"Not good! Passion, Dazzling Gleam!"

"Garde!" Passion did something identical to Zekrom. She covered herself in a sphere of rainbows as she also charged forward, approaching the Deep Black Pokemon. Celestia also put up a barrier around herself and Adagio for safety while Sunset and Arcanine looked up in the sky.

"What is going on up there?" Sunset gawked as all she could see were multiple sparks and colours flying around and the giant figure of Zekrom.

"Voir!" Passion's sphere had clashed with Zekrom's sphere, causing a thunderous sonic boom in the sky, separating the clouds and even trembling the sky itself. Celestia and Adagio could feel the pressure as the skies quaked. Unfortunately, while it would seem like Passion and Zekrom would enter a power struggle with some back and forth movements, it wasn't much of a struggle at all.

Zekrom overpowered Passion with ease as his electricity obliterated her fairy sphere. The Embrace Pokemon gasped as Zekrom had crashed into her with the full force of Fusion Bolt. Another thunderous sound emerged as Passion's pupils expanded, her body feeling 40,000,000 volts course through her.

"G-Gardevoir!" Passion screamed as the aftermath of Zekrom crashing into shot her through the sky with lightning trailing out of her body.

"Passion!" Celestia quickly flew to her partner to try and catch her. She put a magic coating spell around her body to try and nullify the impact when she would catch her Gardevoir. However, the magic coating didn't matter this time. Zekrom had sent Passion flying so fast that even though Celestia managed to catch Passion, she felt the impact and was blown back herself. "Aagh!"

"Princess Celestia?!" Even Adagio was worried. Seeing how close she was to Celestia with a bond, she had every reason to be worried. Just as she screamed Celestia's name, Zekrom wasn't finished.

He went for another attack. The always powerful and effective Hyper Beam. By opening his mouth wide, Zekrom didn't even need to take that long to build Hyper Beam up. His firing speed was so quick that it could be considered instant as a giant orange beam tore through the sky, racing towards Adagio next.

Adagio turned around, spotting a giant beam of infinity energy coming her way. One that was impossible for her to dodge. Including the Kricketot in her mane. But even if she couldn't avoid it, it could be pushed back by someone else or at least cancelled out.

"Adagio!" Celestia saw Adagio in immediate danger. "Passion, use Plasma Bolt!"

"Gardevoir!" Passion quickly put two of her attacks together. Mystical Fire and Thunderbolt. By merging the two moves as one, she conjured up enough power to create plasma, one of the elements that Zekrom himself can create. The Embrace Pokemon then shot the plasma beam forward at lightning speeds as it passed Adagio.

Adagio took a moment to process what had just happened as everything moved so fast for her. Passion's giant beam of plasma clashed with Zekrom's Hyper Beam. This time, there was some struggle instead of it being one-sided.

But not for long. Pasion grit her teeth as she was trying to push Hyper Beam back. Her dress blew in the wind as violent sparks of fire and electricity flew across the skies. Celestia then quickly flew to Adagio.

"Adagio! Get to the ground, quickly! Stick by Sunset Shimmer!" Celestia ordered.

"A-Alright!" Adagio nodded in understanding as she descended to the ground. If anything, being the sky was a massive hazard as Zekrom's mere existence had turned this sunny day into a cloudy one with thunder rumbling.

"G-Gardevoir...!" Passion was starting to lose as Hyper Beam was moving forward, breaking through Plasma Bolt. A seemingly unbeatable attack each time Passion used it. But now it was about to be beaten. Her arms wobbled, her eyes closed, sweat began to form from all the straining as every bone in her body was starting to tremble. Luckily, her trainer was here for her.

Celestia chimed in by using her own beam. The Ruler of Equestria knew she couldn't possibly match the raw power of Zekrom's output and maybe not Plasma Bolt. But her own magic was nothing to scoff at. By concentrating all of her magic into her horn, Celestia released her greatest wave of magic yet. The wave merged with Plasma Bolt as it was now fighting back against Hyper Beam.

Celestia's addition had actually helped out a bit. Hyper Beam had been pushed back because of that extra piece of power that intervened. But, not even an entire minute, in just 5 seconds, Hyper Beam was starting to win once more as Celestia and Passion were straining themselves, trying everything to hold it back.

As for Adagio, she had descended to the ground, meeting with Sunset and Arcanine. Arcanine had just finished saving the Pokemon here after all the destruction caused by Zekrom.

"Is Princess Celestia alright?!" Sunset asked. "Are they winning?!"

"Pssh! Against that thing? No way!" Adagio shook her head. "Even that extra strong Gardevoir of hers is struggling!"

"She is?!" Sunset looked up as Arcanine barked.

"N-Ngh...!" Celestia whimpered as she could feel herself heating up. Her mane was starting to show signs of extra brightness with slight flame sparks as her Boundless Cutie Mark was spinning around repeatedly. Passion herself was heating up as well.

Her body was vibrating as her Plasma Bolt was starting to fizzle out from the approaching Hyper Beam. To try and win this, she added some of her Psychic and Fairy energy into it. She used Psychic via her eyes and Dazzling Gleam around her body. Rays of magical rainbows clashed with Hyper Beam while an invisible blast of Psychic energy was sent forward.

But despite all of that, it wasn't enough. Zekrom was barely even trying as he decided to add some extra strength into Hyper Beam. He made the already large attack even larger and faster than it was.

It was inevitable that they were going to lose this struggle. Celestia was the first to back out as she went for a different approach. Protecting herself and Passion. She flew in front of the Psychic-Fairy-Type, casting the largest magical barrier that she could. Thanks to the Boundless Cutie Mark, all of that magic she used to try and push back Hyper Beam had been replenished.

However, the chances of it fully shielding her and Passion from Hyper Beam was yet to be revealed. There was a moment of silence. That was because the moment Hyper Beam touched Celestia's barrier, the air and atmosphere became mute. But then, afterwards, an ear-piercing explosion followed, one large enough to eclipse the skies and nearly the ground themselves.

Adagio and Sunset ducked for cover, hiding behind Arcanine as all other Pokemon hid in their special homes for safety. Everything within the sky was caught by the outburst of Hyper Beam, including the barrier. And speaking of the barrier, it was able to hold back Hyper Beam for a bit, but when the explosion showed up, that was that. The barrier shattered. And the staggering effects of it reached both Celestia and Passion each.

After the smoke cleared from that horrific explosion, Celestia and Passion both had their pupils and eyes whited out after it shattered. Their mouths were wide open as they were both unconscious.

In fact, the aftershock of the explosion was so great, it sent them both flying while they were unconscious. Smoke trailed out of their bodies as they were being launched to the far south.

"Princess Celestia!" Sunset and Adagio both gasped as they watched Celestia and Passion fly off while Arcanine cried out for both Celesti and Passion.

Zekrom let out a roar of victory that shook the land. After defeating Celestia and Passion, the Deep Black Pokemon continued his rampage as he took off, heading somewhere else. But then again, when in a rampaging state, everything he does is aimless.

But with that purple glow in his eyes instead of red, something was off about Zekrom.

The Faye Mountains. Day.

Much like everywhere else in Equestria, even the Changelings were aware of this. Especially Chrysalis. She and her changelings were doing what they do best. Disguise themselves and befuddle their opponents. And they did just that. Since last night, the changelings have already masked themselves as members of Empress Twilight's forces. Because of the confusion they caused, the troops found it hard to trust each other, thus allowing the changelings and the Pokemon to get the upper hand, hoof, claw and whatever limb the rest of the Pokemon have.

And from their little confusion escapade, they've already kept most of the troops as prisoners. How? Well, Chrysalis had used the cocoons for that. The soldiers had all been placed inside of them in an upside-down position which is always the least comfortable position for anyone to be at.

Anthophilia, being the curious baby that she was, flew over to one of the cocoons, blowing her tongue at the soldiers and poking at the cocoons that held them.

"No, Anthophilia. Don't touch those. They're strong on the outside but not so much the inside." Chrysalis pulled the baby back, placing her down. She looked over at the array of defeated forces in her cocoons, feeling pretty proud of herself. If anything, this was by far the largest victory Chrysalis and her changelings have ever had so far.

It certainly beats out the Royal Canterlot Wedding invasion by a milestone.

Right now, Chrysalis wanted to report to Celestia, telling her how things have turned out on her side and how she's captured some troops. Chrysalis had herself an Xtransceiver to communicate with others. Mainly Ash and Fluttershy but not Celestia. Princess Celestia herself didn't have an Xtransceiver or a Trainer number. At least not yet.

Plus, Chrysalis hadn't exactly learned the alicorn-exclusive spell in this world which allows alicorns to communicate with each other telepathically. It didn't help that Chrysalis also wasn't an alicorn herself despite many confusing her for one. So, she would have to speak with Celestia the traditional way. By heading to Canterlot.

But there was one problem with that. And Chrysalis plus the rest of Equestria was about to figure that out.

"We'll head to Canterlot for a bit. Some of you will stay behind while we inform-" But before Chrysalis could speak, a powerful crashing sound could be heard in the distance. One that startled everyone that heard it

"What was that?!" Chrysalis jumped. Immediately galloping outside of her hive, the Changeling Queen had to know what that sound was. It didn't sound like an enemy attack at first. Nothing mechanical could be heard from it. Sounded like something else had hit the ground.

When she exited her hive, Chrysalis found that many of her changeling soldiers had gone up to the crater that had been formed from the crash. They also thought some enemies had shown up. But after witnessing the dust clear from the crater, they noticed that it wasn't an enemy but a great ally.

Princess Celestia and Passion.

"Celestia?!" Chrysalis looked down at the fainted princess and Gardevoir. Passion was on top of Celestia as Celestia herself had protected Passion from taking most of the damage before she fainted. Even though it usually the role of a Gardevoir that is meant to protect their trainer at all costs. After seeing the fainted alicorn and Pokemon, Chrysalis could only do one thing. "You all! Get them inside now!"

Empress Twilight's world. Her palace.

"Ugh!" The Empress had returned to her throne room, drained and exhausted. Millions of alicorn magic that she had stolen over the years had been taken from her via the Magic Siphoning Jar.

Having all of that magic taken from her was taxing to the Empress' body. So much so that even walking was difficult. It was going to take some time for her to properly recover.

"Curse you, Celestia..." She breathed in and out before slowly approaching her throne. "Now I'm just regulated to the strength of 100 alicorns...You'll pay for this..."

"Empress!" Skyblue Shine walked over, seeing the Empress in a weakened state. "Are you alright?! What happened?!" She attempted to help the Empress to her throne.

"Don't touch me!" Empress Twilight knocked Skyblue's hoof away.

"M-My apologies!"

"To give me so much trouble..." The Empress growled. "I hope that Zekrom obliterates her and everything she loves into nothingness."

"Zekrom? You've unleashed Zekrom, Empress?"

"Certainly." She turned to Skyblue Shine with a horrifying grin. One that could be considered ugly. She wasn't in her prime anymore so everything about her seems downgraded and an inversion. "On a rampage. Those stones were worth collecting for sure."

"The stones? Do you mean the Mega Stones? Could it be that you've found a way to Mega Evolve Zekrom?!"

"No. Even better." She cackled. "I managed to convert the primal energy and nature within the stones and send it to Zekrom. More superficially, Garchomp, Tyranitar, Salamence and Lucario. Zekrom now has their destructive tendencies when they naturally Mega Evolve. Zekrom isn't in control. Meaning that he'll go on an endless rampage with no clear sense at all. But of course, only until the invasion ends will he stop. And more importantly, I need that jar...it's indestructible so even if Zekrom obliterates the land itself, it shall survive."

"Oh my goodness..." Skyblue Shine shuddered after hearing that. Now she knew why she sent Luster Dawn for the Mega Stones. For that one purpose.

"And don't worry...Your precious daughter will be safe. After all, she is still needed due to her main purpose."

"I-I understand." Skyblue Shine nodded.

"Enjoy the last moments of your Equestria, Celestia." The Empress cackled once more with her rugged mane flowing. "Everything and everyone you know and love will be nothing but dust in the wind once Zekrom is done with you!"

As the journey continues.
