//------------------------------// // The Verdant Planet // Story: My Little Pokรฉmon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// The Arcane Sea. 6:00. The Planet in the Sea. Coming across a brand new sight, the Royal Unova and everyone on board had witnessed an entire planet floating in the middle of this sea. And it was all hidden behind the Flaming Tsunami that they had just overcome. The Royal Unova was airborne for a bit after passing through the Flaming Tsunami as it was finally returning to the water by slowly falling. Thankfully, the impact upon the water wasn't hard. It was surprisingly soft, but there was a bit of trembling afterwards. But nothing too major. Everyone was taking a moment to bask in the sight of the Planet which had a very heavy Grass Theme. There were bound to be Grass-Type Pokemon present there. The Royal Unova was slowly sailing towards this planet since the water path connected to it. According to Drake's senses, the Special Haxorus could be on that same planet instead of Rainbow Valley. But it was too early to tell. "Is this the cause of Pokemon and Equestrian magic too?" Rarity asked. "Maybe," Twilight replied. "For an entire planet to be created, it must be Pokemon Magic that's doing most of the work." "How cool is this?!" Ash had a wide grin on his face along with Pikachu, Spike and Rainbow Dash. "I wonder if there are any new Pokemon on it!" "Oh! Are we gonna see alien Pokemon?!" Pinkie Pie gasped. "I bet they're different from Ultra Beasts!" "Although...that planet looks a bit...familiar, doesn't it?" Fluttershy narrowed her eyes. "Familiar? You sound like you've been here before, Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Now that you mention it..." Ash squinted. "It does kinda remind me of something a bit." "Pikachu..." "Attention passengers." A voice spoke through the ship. "We'll be making a quick stop at this mysterious planet. Order to stay onboard has been for the time being until the captain can make clear evidence that it is safe to tread on." "That's our cue!" Spike hopped on Ash's head. "That Special Haxorus might be here if Drake's going out! I can't wait to catch it!" "Wasn't Drake the one who wanted to catch it? You're not going to compete against him, are you?" said Twilight. "Nope. Instead, I'm gonna beat him to it! I'll catch that Special Haxorus and become a greater Dragon Trainer. But I'm not looking forward to battling Drake." "But we're not allowed to leave the ship until Drake makes sure that it's safe," Fluttershy uttered. "Oh yeah...drat!" Spike sighed. "Maybe there's two Special Haxorus's at least. "No need to worry, Spike. Come on. Let's get a closer look at it." Ash looked up at Spike, walking to the outside of the premium cabin to give him, Spike, Pikachu and his Pokemon a clearer view of this Verdant Planet. The Pokemon Festival journey has certainly taken an unexpected turn. They went from a kingdom, cities, a sky island in a board game and now a space-like sea area with unpredictable waters that also had a flaming tsunami and now a mini-planet just floating about. They're certainly going to remember this as it has already surpassed the first Pokemon Festival by a mile. Team Rocket and the CMC looked outside to see the Verdant Planet as their little boat building process had been halted because of this. However, this could be considered their lucky break since this area seemed safer than the previous ones. Although, Drake still had yet to finish making his decision on its safety. But one who did not care about its safety status was the Team Plasma Grunt still onboard. To him, this was also a lucky break. Now he would have somewhere solid outside to walk on and potentially capture a Special Pokemon in the process, returning to Colress. And if not, then he can just catch the other Pokemon that don't change in appearance but utilize moves they can never learn or use. The ship had entered the planet's atmosphere as it felt like mystical nature energy was pulsating through it, giving everyone inside a bit of a refresh. Being that this was a location full of grass, there was bound to be some water to obviously support the nature on this Verdant Planet. The water here seemed to resemble the streams of water that were all around the Arcane Sea with their unpredictable nature. The Royal Unova was safe to park here for the time being as the waters were safe. But what of the land itself? Drake got off the Royal Unova as he returned his Kingdra and Dragalge to their Poke Balls. It was only him that left the ship while his crew and everyone else stayed on the Royal Unova. But he wasn't the only one. The Team Plasma Grunt decided to get off the ship and explore this lush green world for himself as he was ready to catch himself many Pokemon that were special in their own way. Drake got to see what this planet was really all about up close. It resembled a perfect mixture of a grassland, forest and jungle. Normally, these types of areas are never in the same place and always separated from each other. But on this planet, they were one cohesive and connected location. And to be expected, there were indeed Grass-Type Pokemon on this planet. They were the dominant and most present species here with a few Water-Types living in the water streams and Flying-Types soaring about. The Grass Pokemon here did not have that same strange blue glow that the Pokemon back at the Arcane Sea had, but the Water-Pokemon do since they were inside of the water, getting affected by both Pokemon and Equestrian Magic. The air was breathable, much like the space of the Arcane Sea, so it was fine to breathe in the air. And the grass itself was surprisingly soft. Perhaps because it was seemingly a new location that had been created presumably not too long ago, everything here was fresh. The Pokemon here didn't seem too bothered by Drake's presence and appearance. In fact, these are Pokemon that have already lived with humans. They have obviously somehow ended up on this mysterious planet. Although, the population of the Pokemon living here was fairly short. Seemingly around 130 at best. Very small for an entire planet. But then again, the planet itself is very small. Smaller than the moon and the Pokemon World too. "Hm. Seems more than fine actually." Drake said. "This planet is oddly energetic." He put his hands on the grass, feeling the resounding energy of the planet. He could see why Haxorous would potentially retreat to here. It seemed to be a very nice place to live in. Drake had deemed this planet safe to tread on as he could now start searching for that Special Haxorus. He looked back at the ship, raising his arm to give the signal that the passengers could choose to walk on this planet if they wanted to. With that confirmation, there was another announcement through the ship. "Attention all passengers. The captain has officially deemed this planet safe. For those who wish to explore it, you may come outside. But for those who wish to stay on the ship, you are free to do so." "Nice!" Ash said. "Let's get you that Haxorus, Spike!" "Yes sir!" Spike exclaimed, ecstatic to have his chance to catch that Special Haxorus. If Drake doesn't get there first that is. With that, few passengers decided to walk out onto the planet while many more chose to stay behind and enjoy the rest of the Royal Unova. They themselves, the ones who decided to come outside, were given access to experience the beauty of this planet and just how unusually soft this grass was. It was almost a bit eerie because grass isn't meant to be this soft. Those that came out just wanted to explore while some had other plans. Drake and Spike wanted that Special Haxorus while Team Rocket and the one Team Plasma Grunt were aiming to catch Special Pokemon themselves. Entering the outside, Applejack's Sceptile felt like he was at home because of this trinity of a grassland, forest and jungle all in one. "Tile? Sceptile?" "Like it, don't'cha pal?" Applejack said to him. "Sceptile!" "Then run along now and have some fun, why don't ya?" "Tile!" Sceptile liked the sound of that as he used his vines to latch onto a tree, already heading off to perform whatever actions Sceptile's do on a regular daily basis. "I'm still shocked that an entire planet was made by both our world's forms of magic coming together," Twilight said as she looked around the area. "You think a Legendary Pokemon did this?" Rainbow Dash thought as she flew beside her Braviary who was still in his Special Equestrian Form. "Seems like that would make a lot more sense." "Well whoever or whatever caused it, it's wonderful!" Fluttershy gushed. "Ohh! Should we start looking for that Special Haxorus together?" "You guys can do whatever you want." Spike hopped off Ash's head. "I'm searching for that Haxorus on my own." "On your own?" Rarity pulled back. "A bit risky, don't you think, Spike? Special Pokemon seem to be naturally stronger and fiercer than their normal selves. At least, from what we've seen so far. "Yeah, but I wanna try it solo this time. I might become a better Dragon Trainer from this, ya know. And I'll have all the bragging rights of owning a Special Haxorus." "Hoh?" Drake, the one that Spike feared to go up against, had heard Spike's words as he approached the baby dragon. "You seek the Special Haxorus, as well?" "Uh..." Spike, knowing who had just spoken right now, slowly turned around to see the Elite 4 Dragon Trainer standing behind him with an imposing figure and stature, staring right at him. "You sound ambitious boy. I hope you're not thinking of going against me, are you?" "I-I wasn't planning on, sir. I mean captain!" Spike gulped. "B-But I'm really determined to get that Haxorus...if that's okay with you?" "Okay? Hah!" Drake bellowed with a slight chuckle. "I love myself a good competition. Major or minor. Don't worry. I don't intend to battle you, boy." "Phew! Thank Celestia..." Spike smiled with relief. "Unless it comes down to it." Drake's tone shifted which startled Spike. "Just kidding!" "Ugh..." Spike was relieved once more as Drake scared him there. "Anyway. We won't have to search for long. There are effective ways to bring out certain Pokemon." Drake turned around. "Like?" Coco asked. "I'll use my own Haxorus to call for it!" Drake held out a Poke Ball. "Haxorus's can't resist a battle. Especially when it comes to territory. Come out!" He threw the Poke Ball and sent out his own Haxorus. "Haxorus!" "Alright, Haxorus." Drake went up to his Pokemon. "That Special Haxorus we've been searching for is near. You know what to do. Let out an Alpha Call." "Haxo!" He nodded in understanding. "An Alpha Call?" Pinkie tilted her head. "An Alpha Call is a special type of roar that is used to call and summon other creatures for aid, usually the creatures that aren't Alphas like the caller," Fluttershy explained. "But sometimes, it can be a challenge if the other creature is an alpha as well." "Ooh..." The pinky pony nodded. "๐—›๐—ฎ๐˜…๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐˜€!" With a mighty call, Haxorus's roar immediately spread across the entire planet. From the grasslands, forests and jungles to even the lakes, rivers and ponds located here. All the Pokemon present on the planet certainly heard it. They could tell what an Alpha Call was and immediately, the Pokemon here, who weren't alphas, which essentially 99% of them, came running to the Axe Jaw Pokemon. From Bulbasaurs, Skiplooms, Lotads, Deerlings etc, they all came rushing to Drake's Haxorus, leaving their respective territories. Applejack's Sceptile watched as all the Pokemon were flocking to one spot because of one roar. "Scep?" "Hmm..." Drake narrowed his eyes, waiting for the arrival of the Special Haxorus as he watched over the army of Pokemon coming his way. Since the population here was so minuscule, he wasn't expecting a sea of Pokemon to be seen. "Aww...look at all of them!" Fluttershy's eyes shot up as she went over to the Pokemon who had gathered here. "I should have Krookodile back at home try an Alpha Call frequently." The few passengers who came off the boat decided to interact with the Pokemon living here alongside their own Pokemon as well. But there was no Special Haxorus among them. Some of the Pokemon decided to return to their territories after seeing that it was essentially a false alarm. "I see Grass, Water and even Flying. But no Dragon." Pinkie Pie navigated her head. "Maybe it's moving slow." "Probably. Haxorus aren't exactly the fastest Pokemon." Drake replied. "And this planet is relatively small too." "Well, I'm gonna take this chance!" Spike ran off. "That Haxorus is mine!" "Hmph. We'll see." Drake stood there as he didn't bother following Spike. He was just going to stay here with his own Haxorus, preparing to let everything play out. "Stay on guard, Haxorus." "Haxo!" Meanwhile, with the Team Plasma Grunt, he was already on the move. Every Pokemon here could be considered special, especially the ones who were in the water. He could see that some of them were returning to their territories after Haxorus's Alpha Call while others were still with Drake and the others. This was the perfect time to take action. "Right then. Let's get started." The grunt dug into his pockets, already prepared to get to catching. "Skip. Skiploom." A group of Skiploom's had returned to their territory for a quick drink. Specifically, from the magical waters that were unpredictable. Each of the Cottonweed Pokemon stopped by the lake, drinking the mystical liquid from it for a nice refreshing cool off. Even though this world has an odd and unseen energy that can refresh the body either way. When they drank the water, they were immediately given some of its magical attributes. They each received that same blue glow that surrounds all the Water-Type Pokemon. "Loom!" The first Skiploom felt great as it celebrated by using Synthesis. Except, the move it used wasn't Synthesis but instead, it was Shadow Ball as it accidentally shot a blob of darkness from its mouth. "Skip?!" "Skip-Skip!" The second Skiploom went through a different change as well. Its body had become transparent all of a sudden. The third Skiploom became hard as steel as it dropped on the ground, making its fellow Skiplooms shake a bit and the rest underwent their own bizarre changes. Despite how odd it looked, the Skiplooms seemed to enjoy it. They're usually carefree Pokemon who don't worry about that much at all. But there was one thing to worry about as the Team Plasma Grunt approached the group of Skiploom's who were just minding their own business. "Loom?!" However, one of the Skiploom's could already sense an ominous presence close to them. It turned around to see the Team Plasma Grunt standing before its fellow Skiplooms, warning them immediately. "Skip! Skip!" "You certainly look different." The grunt said as he held out some Poke Balls. "Colress is going to enjoy examining all of you." "Skip!" Not wanting to get involved with the grunt, the Skiplooms began to skip away out of fear. However, fleeing wouldn't help the situation as the grunt had a Pokemon to deal with them. "Come out! Drapion!" He sent out his Drapion. "Drapion!" "After them." The grunt hopped on the back of his Pokemon. "Pion!" Drapion didn't need to use any moves to catch up. That's because Drapion is naturally faster than a Skiploom by default as it began chasing the Skiplooms down while its trainer sat on its back as a ride. The Skiplooms were skipping about as they looked behind them to see the Ogre Scorp Pokemon and the grunt approaching them at high speeds. Drapion used its large claws to destroy any tree that got in its way and it could even crawl up on the trees if it wanted to for extra mobility. It didn't take long for the Poison-Dark-Type to catch up as one of the Skiplooms was already in grabbing range as it wasn't faster than its brethren. "Drap!" As such, Drapion managed to grab the first Skiploom in its right claw. "Sk-Skip!" The Skiploom had been caught within the grasp of Drapion as its fellow Skiplooms heard the cry of their brethren as they looked back to see that Drapion had already claimed one of their kind. "In you go." The grunt tossed the Poke Ball, hitting the Skiploom and sending the Cottonweed Pokemon inside of the ball as it shook three times. One Skipoom had been caught as the others looked back in horror as they continued to skip along, hoping that they wouldn't be caught next. "Skip!" However, one Skiploom was feeling vengeful as it stopped skipping, changing into a ferocious expression as it was about to lash out at Drapion and the Grunt. "Dra?" "Brave, are we?" The grunt scoffed. "Skip...Loom!" The Skiploom that could now use Shadow Ball, used its newly obtained Shadow Ball by shooting it out from its mouth as a black blob travelled towards the Ogre Scorp Pokemon. However, Drapion stood there, knowing that Shadow Ball could barely do a thing to it because of its Dark-Typing. When Shadow Ball connected, an explosion of Ghost energy occurred. The smoke was slowly clearing. But while it was fading away, out of the smoke came Drapion's claw, which latched onto the heavy and hard Skiploom. The claws then seeped poison into the vulnerable Cottonweed Pokemon. Drapion did find it a bit difficult to hold this Skiploom since its weight had been transformed. "Skip...!" Skiploom had been poisoned, invoking further fear into the other Skiploom. Even the brave one. Because of this, it made it easier to catch the Cottonweed Pokemon. The other Skiplooms continued to move as they witnessed yet another one of their brethren being placed inside of a Poke Ball by the grunt as he held two Poke Balls containing two Skiplooms. But no matter how fast they skipped, Drapion would still catch up to them with ease. They decided to think off their feet and try to find a way to avoid their predators. But they would have to think fast because Drapion was closing in on them. They spotted other Pokemon nearby as they warned them of the imminent danger that was pursuing them and might even pursue all the other Pokemon here as well. "Loom!" The warning sound had been made by the Skiploom as the nearby Pokemon were alerted by the threat here. The other Pokemon turned around, spotting Drapion and the Team Plasma Grunt approaching at high speeds, already trying to grab the next Skiploom in front of them. With that, the Pokemon themselves started to run. Poison-Types are one of the many things they all fear. And for good reason. Especially if it's a Drapion. Some even dived into the water to avoid the Drapion. But that only made the grunt more determined to capture them. "Hmph. This'll be a problem. No matter. I know of a way to slow you all down. Drapion! Use Cross Poison on the ground!" "Dra...Pion!" The Ogre Scorp Pokemon crossed its arms above its head, hands and pincers start to glow purple. Drapion then slashed the ground with an X formation. The moment Cross Poison hit the ground, a deadly poison began spreading. In just a few seconds, the lush and vibrant green grass of the planet was being contaminated and polluted by the poison made by Drapion. The grass was transforming into a vile purple as the Pokemon who could fly made the wise decision to ascend and avoid this horrible spreading. But the Pokemon who couldn't fly were the unfortunate ones. The blades of grass had been destroyed by the poison as many of the Pokemon who were on the ground had been hit, instantly getting poison seeped into their bodies the moment it made any contact with them. Not even the trees were safe as the wood had been melted away by the festering venom that seemed to have no end. The Pokemon resting on the trees were planning on jumping to escape the poison, however, it was on the ground as well, so there would be no point. Seeing that they were deadlocked, they as well had been caught by the poison. The grunt hopped off of Drapion's back as he had a lot of Pokemon to choose from since the poison had affected around 30 of them so far. And it was still going. Now would be a perfect time to catch all the Pokemon here poisoned. And he had enough Poke Balls to do so. He wouldn't be able to capture every single Pokemon on this planet but he would still have a good amount. He got to work, walking over to Pokemon who were moving slowly because of the poison hurting them from inside. He tossed the first few Poke Balls in numerous directions as they each hit the nearest Pokemon, sending them inside and capturing them with ease. Drapion cornered a Sunflora, pinning the Sun Pokemon to a tree. "F-Flora!" "Dra! Dra!" Drapion used its other claw to hold up a Petilil who was squirming while being hurt by the poison. "P-Petilil!" "Ivy!" Thankfully, the one Pokemon unaffected by the poison was Ivysaur thanks to it being part Poison and its large seed absorbing all the toxins. The Seed Pokemon fired an Energy Ball at Drapion, which didn't hurt when it made contact. But it did grab the attention of the Ogre Scorp Pokemon. "Dra?" "Ivysaur!" Ivysaur was standing up to Drapion. The Seed Pokemon continued to attack from afar by using repeated Energy Balls which weren't very effective, but could still deal damage. Just not that much to a Drapion. The grunt saw how an Ivysaur was trying to stop his Drapion, so he decided to intervene. He had already caught all the Pokemon nearby and soon, he'll catch the rest. He approached the Ivysaur from behind with silent footsteps as the Seed Pokemon was focusing on Drapion alone. But that was a grave mistake, as the grunt had grabbed onto the bulb, hitting a sensitive spot of Ivysaur and throwing the Grass-Poison-Type off focus. "S-Saur?!" "Can't have you ruining everything." The grunt grinned as he tightened his grip on Ivysaur's bulb. "Ivy!" "Drapion! Iron Tail!" With all his might, the grunt tossed Ivysaur towards Drapion, allowing the Ogre Scorp Pokemon to utilize its tail this time. "Dra!" Drapion's tail hardened as it raised its tail, getting ready to slam it onto Ivysaur. The Seed Pokemon's eyes gasped as it couldn't avoid this attack since it had been flung. And with a heavy impact, Drapion slammed its Iron Tal onto Ivysaur's head, plummeting the Grass-Poison-Type to the ground. "Ivysaur!" Ivysaur cried out in pain as Drapion's tail rested on its head, pinning the Seed Pokemon there. "Hm..." The grunt went up the Ivysaur. "Sure. I'll catch you too. You might have some of the water in you. If not, then you can always be tested on by Colress in different ways." He held out a Poke Ball, ready to catch Ivysaur. "Saur! Saur!" Ivysaur refused to be captured by someone like him. The Seed Pokemon would prefer to be caught by a worthy trainer instead of a thief. Ivysaur squirmed around, trying its best to break free from Drapion's Iron Tail, but it was no use. As the trainer was getting ready to throw the Poke Ball, the Seed Pokemon closed its eyes, knowing that it had failed to protect its friends and itself as well. It seemed that all hope was lost for Ivysaur and the Pokemon here, until, from above, a Dragon Pulse came from above, landing in between Ivysaur, Drapion and the grunt, blowing them both back along with some of the nearby trees. "Dr-Dra!" Drapion went flying along with the Pokemon it had in its hold while the grunt rolled on the ground. "Ugh!" The grunt groaned as he crashed into a tree that hadn't been poisoned yet since the poison had slowed down for now. He knew that a Pokemon had fired that Dragon Pulse, but he was wondering which Pokemon. As he looked up, he spotted a silhouette of the Pokemon who fired the Dragon-Type move. And standing on a healthy tree was none other than Applejack's Sceptile. "Tile!" "Gh! A Sceptile?!" "Scep!" Sceptile used his vines to grab Ivysaur, Petilil and Sunflora, getting them away from Drapion who was just recovering after Dragon Pulse. "Ivy...saur?" Ivysaur looked up at Sceptile. "Scep, Sceptile!" Sceptile told Ivysaur and the others that there was no need to worry. He had already seen the destruction that was being caused by Drapion's Cross Poison as it was still spreading from land to tree. Even the water had been poisoned, affecting the Water-Pokemon as well. Luckily, Sceptile are Pokemon that are naturals at moving from tree to tree with amazing agility. So if one tree gets affected, he can just move to another in a heartbeat. Sceptile essentially rules the forest. Even though this was also a jungle and grassland. Luckily, Sceptile also had a way to stop the poison from spreading. In the form of Fluttershy's Audino. He could stay here and defeat Drapion and the grunt, but the poison would hinder him greatly since it was already closing in. Or he could head to Fluttershy and request assistance pronto. However, Sceptile found a third alternative. While having his fellow Grass-Types on his vines, he used Dragon Pulse once more firing it while hopping from tree to tree. He was going to damage Drapion while heading back to his friends. "Drapion! Dark Pulse!" "Dra!" Drapion quickly countered Dragon Pulse with its own pulse as a purple beam with black circles around it was fired from Drapion's mouth, cancelling out the Dragon Pulse. Sceptile was heading in the direction of Fluttershy while firing Dragon Pulses from his mouth, moving across the trees. He made sure to avoid the trees that were infected and to the ones that were still healthy for the time being. The Dragon Pulses continued to hit the ground as they created many smoke clouds, hindering Drapion's vision, which annoyed the grunt and the Ogre Scorp Pokemon too. "Dra!" Drapion swung its claws violently, blowing away the smoke clouds to try and see Sceptile. But because Sceptile had the upper advantage in a grass-themed area such as this world, he was already long gone because of his amazing agility and speed. "Got away!" The grunt stomped on the ground. "Drap!" Drapion, feeling aggravated, was planning on chasing Sceptile down. "Drapion! Don't bother!" The grunt prevented Drapion from taking action. "We can deal with that Sceptile later. Let' just get the rest of the Pokemon and we'll call it a day." "Dra." The decision was made to capture the rest of the Pokemon with the number of Poke Balls there were left. Those that were poisoned were up for grabs as the poison continued to spread, slowly destroying this beautiful planet. West of the Verdant Planet. Spike, who was on a quest to find that special Haxorus, was unaware of what was happening to the forest. Along with many of the passengers here. But he did hear sounds in the distance. Most likely from Drapion and Sceptile. "Haxorus, Haxorus...where are you? It's gotta be the biggest Pokemon in this forest. Can't be too hard to miss." Spike said. He tried climbing up the trees to see if he could get a better view, but he was unable to do so. Spike noticed that there were a surprisingly low amount of Pokemon in this area. On the planet in general. Perhaps, because the planet is new to this existence, the population would be minimal. "Hm." Spike stopped for a moment until he thought of something that could work. "I got it! Drake's Haxorus did an Alpha Call...so I'll just have my Salamence do the same!" He sent his Salamence out. "Salamence!" "Okay, Salamence! You're an Alpha, right?" "Sala...Mence?" "You know? An Alpha. Like uh..." He snapped his fingers. "Like the top of the hierarchy or something like that, I don't know." "Mence." He shook his head. After all, Salamence was once a Bagon who was instantly turned into a Salamence in under a few seconds without warning or even going through the process of being a Shelgon thanks to Lucien and Sienna. He wasn't exactly an Alpha. He was brave and fierce but not on the same level as Drake's Haxorus. But perhaps he had the potential to become an Alpha. "Guess not, huh?" Spike sighed. "Well uh...Just try anyway. Might work." "Salamence." Salamence nodded as he looked up in the air, getting ready to perform a roar. He held his breath in, closed his eyes and let out a call. "๐™Ž๐™–๐™ก๐™–๐™ข๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™š!" Salamence's roar wasn't an Alpha Call at all. But it was ferocious either way. The roar was fairly short and wasn't wide enough to go over the entire planet. However, Salamence's call did summon a few Pokemon. Mainly a Ferroseed and a Pidgey. But that was about it. No other nearby Pokemon responded to the call. "Aw..." Spike groaned. "Alright. We'll just keep searching for it. It's probably heading towards Drake's direction and-" "Axew." Suddenly the voice of an Axew passed through the hard-to-find ears of Spike and Salamence each as they paused for a moment. This was an exclusively Grass-Water and Flying planet. For there to be Pokemon of other types would be a bit out of place. But that didn't matter. Because the moment Spike heard the sound of an Axew, he realized he had a golden opportunity to catch himself an Axew and develop more as a Dragon Trainer. "Oh! An Axe-" However, when turning around, he was given a surprising reveal. The Pokemon he was looking at was still an Axew but way different than he normally sees them. "Xew?" The mysterious Axew tilted its head, curious about Spike. "...An Axew...?" To an unexpected surprise, Spike had come across an Axew of a different appearance. His interest has been skyrocketed to a high level at this point. But unbeknownst to spike and the passengers, their time on this planet might be short with the poison from Drapion spreading, as the journey continues. Chapter 345 End.
