//------------------------------// // Dear Passion // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Route 121, Hoenn. "...W-What happened?" Twilight stuttered as she and everypony set their eyes on what seemed to be a dust cloud of smoke. Passion was completely gone from the spot she was originally standing at. "She's gone. Where did she go?" Fluttershy asked with a worrying tone. "S-Sister?" Luna started to tear up, fearing the worst possible scenario. Her heart was racing as she believed that her big sister had made her unfortunate fate along with Passion. A completely infinite and empty space. Nothing was around. Nothing at all. Everything was blank all around with pink sparkles flowing across as if they were stars in the night skies. The only two there were Passion and Celestia, floating in this endless space together. They had woken up to this empty void, both seeing that they were completely unharmed. None of them suffered any critical injures or brutal fates as they thought they would, which was a relief. "Well. We're still in one piece, aren't we?" Celestia spoke. "Kirlia." "Oh, Passion. I'm sorry that I was unable to solve this much sooner than I should've. If I did, then none of this would've happened." Celestia felt guilty as always. Being the ruler of Equestria and ruling for many years she thought she would have a solution to a problem like this. "But...I guess that's to be expected since your world is beyond my knowledge. " Passion gave Celestia a huge on her face, basically telling her not to worry anymore. Who cares about any of that when she's here unharmed with her trainer. "Kir." "Passion...Did you just speak?" Celestia in that small instance could actually understand Passion's words. The two were connecting on such a level that it was possible for her to slowly gain an understanding of Pokemon speech. But since Passion was still a young Kirlia, it was fairly faint. But Celestia could hear the words "It's alright." "Lia!" "After this, let's have a nice long break, okay?" "Kirlia." The two took a moment to take a huge breather. After something like that, they deserve it all. And they do deserve a long break after all of this. The synergy between the two was another great example of trainer and Pokemon. There are many phenomenons that involve Pokemon. Whenever a Pokemon cries, something magical happens. As if they have the power to bring those back to life. Whenever a Pokemon passes away, they leave behind something that can benefit the future. As if they're leaving behind a final gift to the world. Whenever a Pokemon and Trainer share a powerful bond, they can achieve an unseen form that can be transformed into an amazing power. And of course, the largest phenomenon that started it all. The creation of Arceus. And this is one of those many phenomenons. The synergy between two that radiates happiness. This was more than just transforming their bonds into power. They were exhibiting magic in its purest form. Pure magic if you will. The space they were in had been purified with this dazzling magic, spreading a mix of Celestia's magic and Passion's magic across the endless void. For the first time ever, the magic of Equestria which used to be completely powerless against cosmic energy had managed to overcome it, eradicating it completely from Passion. Finally, the two could rest easy. On the outside world, they made their beautiful return. A pillar of light erupted from the same spot Passion vanished from, causing a reappearance. The pillar of light had brought them back to the outside world, but that wasn't all. That same light expanded into a vast and grandiose light shockwave that went across both worlds. All the damage that Passion had caused to every part of each world was being undone by this magical light of two. Almost as if the removal of the cosmic energy had reversed the effects that it was forcing Passion to cause. After all, she wasn't even in control of herself at the time. Before everyone knew it, it's like nothing ever happened. No damage was caused whatsoever. Everyone was placed back down on the ground, Canterlot had been repaired along with Ponyville and all of Equestria. Celestia and Passion emerged from the mystical light as they were both still hugging each other with Celestia holding her. "Sister!" Luna cried out, seeing that her big sister was alright. "Luna?" Celestia opened her eyes, seeing the whole gang here. "Everyone?" "Auntie!" Cadence was tearing up. "Princess Celestia!" Twilight exclaimed as her, the rest of the Mane 6, Luna and Cadence dogpiled Celestia with their own hugs. Soon, both Celestia and Passion were attacked by vicious yet comforting hugs from the ponies and their Pokemon as Ash and Gardevoir stood by watching. "Okay! It's good to see you all again!" Celesti laughed as she and Passion were being crushed. It got worse when Ash's Dragonite came out of its Pokeball, joining in on the hug. "Wait! Dragonite, NO-" "Dra!" Dragonite gave every last one of them a hug. There was no escaping this time. But Dragonite saw that they were all suffocating so it was best to pull back now. "Phew...fresh air." Celestia let out a sigh of relief. "Auntie! How did you do it?" Cadence had a wide smile on her face, wiping away the tears. "Isn't it obvious? She's the best!" Rainbow Dash remarked. "I didn't do it by myself. You were all there to help me." "We were?" They all said. "Yes. Well...your mirror world counterparts that is." "Oh..." "But we did it. We won." Celestia held Passion in her hooves. "Kirlia!" "Is Passion alright now?" Fluttershy asked. "Perfectly fine." Celestia gave Passion a belly rub. "Kir! KIrlia!" "So...I-It's over? The problem's been solved?" Twilight stammered. "Yes, Twilight. It's over." Celestia nodded. "You can rest easy now." "Oh, finally!" Twilight fell on her back, exhausted. "That was way too close for comfort." Rainbow fell on the floor face first. Most of them felt exhausted from this. The entire scenario almost ended up costing somepony's life and the life of many others. You could call this a usual day with Pokemon but at this point, seeing how it almost resulted in the destruction of two worlds, not so usual. If anything, this is the first unusual thing in months. And it might just stay that way for a while. "Well. I believe this is where we part ways, my little ponies," said Gardevoir. "Kirlia." She went to her daughter, kneeling down. You've found yourself an amazing trainer. One that I would never expect or foresee in a million years. I want you to take care, be by her side and always push on through the hardest of times, alright?" "Kirlia..." Passion was about to cry, saying goodbye to her mother. Even though they had a short reunion, it still hurt to say farewell. Especially when Passion had left her mother without even telling her. But Gardevoir knew that she didn't have to since already had the knowledge of her finding the perfect trainer. The Emotion Pokemon took some time to hug her mother's leg, saying her unfortunate goodbyes. "Celestia, was it?" "Yes?" "Take good care of my daughter, alright? Raise her into a wonderful Gardevoir." "I will. I promise." "Kirlia!" Passion ran over to Celestia, hopping on her back as usual. Farewells were given to Gardevoir as they all vowed to take care of her daughter. And when she becomes a Gardevoir, it'll be her protecting them instead. Canterlot. A resounding return to it. They could come back to their world knowing that the damage done had been reversed due to both Celestia and Passion's magic uniting into one. And the snow complemented it perfectly. Returning to Canterlot was all they needed. Once they returned, cheers were directed straight towards Princess Celestia and Passion only. They were all glad that the two were alright and back in one piece. "I'm back everypony. Oh..." Celestia sighed, feeling the urge to head to bed right now. Her knees were so weak that she was about to fall over, but Pyrestar came over to catch her. "Welcome back, Celestia. A great success against the problem, I assume?" "Right you are. It took a while." Celestia nodded. "But it all worked out in the end." The Sun Princess hooves had given up finally, causing her to fall the ground. Everypony gasped at the sight of seeing their princess suddenly fall to the ground. But that's to be expected from all the hard work she did to save everypony. "I think it's best that we all give her some room to rest." Pyrestar spoke." She needs all the rest she can get." "Mmm...Cake." Celestia mumbled in her sleep. Passion held on to Celestia's neck, giving it a hug and comforting her whilst she dozed off. Everypony realized that it was probably best that they all just head home. Celestia's tired, she's exhausted herself, she just got back from saving both worlds from being crushed by uncontrollable magic. So all she needs is some rest. And that's what they gave her. "You know...I'm pretty beat myself." Rainbow Dash yawned. "This cold weather and snow kinda make me sleepy." "We all are, darling. I don't know how I'm ever going to stay up after almost being crushed by all that magic." Rarity said. "Think now might be the best time to head home?" "I think so. We don't want to bother Princess Celestia anymore." Twilight nodded. "Her and Passion need a long break at the moment." "I'm still wondering how she managed to do it?" Fluttershy wondered. "Only one way she could have." Cobalion walked up to them. "Your princess was just another example of an amazing trainer and an amazing Pokemon." "Really?" Fluttershy leaned forward. "Really. If Cobalion says something then it's true." Terrakion commented. "That shockwave of light was one of the many phenomenons that exist in our world," said Virizion. "There are even more phenomenons that our world holds that are waiting to be discovered. But for now, we'll be taking our leave." "Think we'd better head back to Pallet, huh buddy?" "Pikachu." "Thank you all for helping my big sister. I don't know what she would do without you all." Luna picked up Celestia, carrying her on her back. "For a while now, Pyrestar and I will be attending her royal duties. In the meantime, you all return and enjoy the rest of winter until Hearth's Warming arrives. Or Christmas as it's known in the Pokemon World." "Sure will." Twilight nodded as the others gave their agreements. The day was nearing its end in a few hours. It's been a total of 17 hours since this whole problem started up. And both worlds were almost destroyed in 6 hours. But all that time was worth it since all is well finally. Celestia was placed in her bed, snug as a bug as Passion slept next to her. Celestia had never looked so peaceful before. She hasn't been this asleep since she was a little filly. Just goes to show how much work she's put in. Pyrestar and Luna gently closed to the door, leaving Celestia and Passion to sleep without any disruption. All was calm on this snow-filled night. "To think...I suggested that you both should put your work on hold since I wanted you both to experience everything and sway from any problems that might surface up, as they did in my world. But then, she goes ahead and does this. I suppose I can't prevent a princess from partaking in her royal duties." said Pyrestar. "If mother and father were here, they'd be so proud of her. I know I am." Luna replied. "But, it's a shame...Once the worlds return to normal...Both her and Passion will have to part ways for good. Meaning the same with Darkrai and I..." The thought of it was heartbreaking honestly." "It truly is. They've both built something amazing together. Departing forever will truly ruin all of that." Pyrestar shook her head. "I wish there was a way to keep both our worlds connected. Even if the Rift finally leaves." Luna sighed. "....There is one possible way." Pyrestar said as it caused Luna to perk up. "What? There is?!" "It's just a theory...but what do know is that in every universe, one has something that the other does not. In my universe, the concept of ponies fusing exists but not in this universe. But here, this Boundless Cutie Mark seems to be a reality, however, it has never come up in my own universe." "Are you saying that..." "Yes. There might be a universe out there where somepony has found a spell that can keep our memories. It is a far reach. But judging by how endless these realities seem to be, it's not out of the realm of possibility." "So then, what are waiting for? We should set out to these worlds and find the right-" "Slow down, Luna...There's no need to rush. After all, don't you think now is a good time to just sit back and relax?" Pyrestar pointed at the window were Celestia and Passion were asleep. "Oh, right." Luna squeed. This single-story instance can finally come to an end. Celestia has found peace with her Pokemon and subjects. From now on, the way she's viewed by all of Equestria has been changed radically. No longer is she a highly-worshipped princess. But now, she's just like everypony else. Just here to have fun, smile and be with those that she loves. All while still being a princess, as the journey continues. Chapter 173 End.
