Pokemon World and Equestria, The Start of Winter.
It's almost been a full year since the two worlds had crossed over. And such, new areas have emerged, making themselves far more comfortable.
Some well-known locations are...
Lapras Lake.
Exploud Chasm.
Kingdra Durance.
Sealeo Breakwater.
Deerling Forest and much more out there in the world.
Needless to say, with all these new areas being created by both worlds crossing paths, it was only a matter of time before most of them caught the attention of everypony in Equestria.
"Here it is. The new map of the updated Equestria!" Twilight announced, showcasing a giant map that took up a large portion of the castle walls. "There's a lot to take in here."
"No kidding. How did all of these new areas fit in our world? They look gigantic!" Rainbow Dash flew to the map.
"Ooh! There's Lapras Lake!" Fluttershy noticed.
"How come we ain't seen most of them before?" Applejack wondered.
"Most of the time we've been limited to a few areas located North and South." Rarity answered.
"Where to first?" Ash asked.
"Pika?"
"Let's see...Ludicolo Jungle, Pyroar lands, Carbink Caves, Dragon Valley, there's just a lot to choose from." Twilight was finding it hard to choose.
"Pikapi. Pikachu." Pikachu pointed over at an area that seemed similar to Pikachu Valley all the way over at Alola.
"Oh? You think that Pikachu area's good, huh buddy?"
"An area full of Pikachu's located near Rainbow Falls? Wonder what that would look like." Fluttershy thought for a bit.
"I've been to an area full of Pikachu's before. Goh and I even visited one the other day. It's a sight to behold." Ash nodded.
"Pikachu."
"Does Pikachu Highlands sound good to everypony?" Twilight asked.
"Hmm...That does sound kind of fun." Rainbow Dash was leaning towards that idea.
"I'm already up for it. I just love Pikachu!" Fluttershy nodded her head aggressively.
"There's a place with only with Sableye, hm?" Rarity rubbed her hooves together, sparking up an idea. "Interesting..."
The others agreed on the Pikachu Highlands. It was simple enough to start with plus Pikachu's are just naturally adorable creatures. Some ponies would even argue that they're the cutest in all of Equestria due to them seeing Ash's Pikachu so much.
But they weren't the only ones heading to Pikachu Highlands. Celestia was actually headed there as well. She had the opportunity to visit this newfound area for one day only whilst Pyrestar handles everything. She was the one who told Celestia to go along and have fun...like some sort of mother telling their child to run along.
"Are you sure that you want to head a place known as Pikachu Highlands of all places, sister?" Luna asked. "And if so, why there? The other areas sound much more interesting."
"Of course I do. I'm 100% sure. Besides...Pikachu is just so adorable~!"
"Hm. It is adorable. I wonder why I don't have one of my own? May I...come with you?"
"Of course you can, Luna. Nothing's stopping from you coming with me. It will be a fun little sister trip to a brand new location in Equestria." Celestia walked up to her little sister.
"Really? I can come along? Yes!" Luna pumped her hooves. "Darkrai! Do you-"
"No." Darkrai disappeared into the shadows, not wanting to be apart of this.
"Oh. Well, that's fine. He is a busy Pokemon after all."
"I know one Pokemon in particular who won't be busy and is coming along with us." Celestia closed her eyes, giving off a smile that indicated that she knew something.
"Hm? Who?"
"Cobalion of course. This is our first time ever spending a long amount of time together. It's what everypony calls a...a...hm...what do they call it again?" Celestia had trouble figuring out the word.
"A date," Luna answered.
"A date! It's my first ever one! I'm a bit nervous! Do regular ponyfolk get this nervous on their first dates?!"
"How should I know? I have never been on a date."
"Maybe, if I just keep calm and be myself, it will go smoothly."
"That's impossible. Each time you're near Cobalion you turn into a completely different pony. One that I've never seen before. Even when he is not present here your natural personality shifts."
"I know. Cobalion just gets me so excited!" Celestia pranced on the spot whilst Luna shook her head. Both groups on different sides were ready to make their way towards Pikachu Forest. Or as it is also known as
Pikachu Paradise.
Pikachu Highlands.
Home to a countless number of Pikachu. This location was created on the same day the two worlds crossed over. In fact, this is the only location that was actually displaced in Equestria. Everywhere else has remained the same, whether its cities, towns or even islands. But this was an entire highland. But even if it was displaced, it was a beauty to behold even in Equestria. They even had homes in the shape of Pikachu heads. You could only imagine what it looked like in its original world. The group had come across the Pikachu Highlands.
A paradise for Pikachu.
"Oh my..." Rarity gawked.
"Pikachu..."Fluttershy squeed with the widest grin on her face yet. A new record.
"I've seen many things in my life...but I've never seen this before." Luna was starstruck by the sight of this.
"Look at the variety of Pikachu here! This one has stunning pigtails!" Rarity picked up a Pikachu with pigtails.
"Pika!" The pigtailed Pikachu raised her hands up.
"This one's got a sick hairstyle!" Rainbow Dash went over to a Pikachu with spiky hair.
"Pika-Pikachu!" The spiky-haired Pikachu bellowed, having a much more intense voice than a normal Pikachu. Every single of these Pikachu had their own personality that made them stand out. Some were aggressive, somewhere intelligent, some wore special items such as scarves and masks, some had their own unique hairstyles and some were slightly bigger or smaller than others.
"This truly is a Pikachu Paradise." Celestia looked down at a Pikachu laying on the back of a pudgy Pikachu. "I wonder what is taking Cobalion so long?"
"Never gets dull seeing a place with tons of your own species, huh buddy?" Ash asked his own Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder, heading off to chat with his fellow Electric Mice. "Pika-Pika!" Pikachu gave off a greeting.
"PIKA!" The entire Highland replied with a thunderous welcome greeting to their fellow Pikachu. It was so loud, you could hear it from Canterlot. Their greeting went as far as to clash tails with Pikachu, creating small shocks. The natural greeting of the Pikachu species.
"Pikachu! Pika!" Some female Pikachu's who were dressed up as maidens escorted Ash's Pikachu all of a sudden. This was probably another part of their greeting from the looks of it. Pikachu himself was confused about what was going on but he appreciated the friendly aura around here.
"Where are they taking Ash's Pikachu?" Twilight wondered.
"From what those maiden Pikachu said, they're taking him to see their Emperor and Empress."
"Emperor and Empress? This place has royalty?" Rainbow Dash found that hard to believe.
But it was 100%. Because right over the distance, a giant castle that was the shape of a Pikachu head could be seen. It wasn't that difficult to miss it since when you arrive at Pikachu Highlands, it's most likely the first thing you'll see besides the enormous number of Pikachu.
"Chu. Pikachu." A well dressed Pikachu went up to Ash and the ponies, giving them the hand motion to come along with them.
"You want us to head in there, huh? Sounds good to me." Ash accepted the invitation.
"We're heading in there? What do you think the inside's like?" Pinkie asked.
"Probably yellow everywhere," Fluttershy answered with her possibility. In truth, the inside of the Pikachu castle was not what they were expecting. They were expecting cute and adorable decorations with yellow colourings all over the place. And while there was the colour yellow everywhere, its appearance was grander than it was cute. So grand that it could even match Canterlot and the Crystal Empire in flash and dazzle.
Inside were Pikachu of high nobility. Somehow.
Every single of these Pikachu belonged a family with royal blood in them. You could tell by the way they walk upright, say their names less frequently and loud than a normal Pikachu and how they greet each other. Many Pikachu across the other regions have their own way of greeting each other. The most common is putting their tails together and creating a small shock. The Pikachu's in Alola, however, sniff each other and rub their tails together, with the females approaching the newcomers first. In the case for the Pikachu in this castle, they bow instead of putting their tails together. How formal.
"I've never seen Pikachu's act so...proper." Twilight was impressed.
"And here you were thinking Electric-Types didn't have class, Rarity." Applejack said to her unicorn friend.
"I never said that. I said they lack class. But this is truly impressive."
"Wonder what the emperor and empress are like?" Pinkie's words made them all think of the possibility.
Are they just ordinary Pikachu wearing fancy robes and a big ol' crown? Are they slightly taller than most Pikachu's? Are their tails or ears longer? Could they possibly be shiny Pokemon? Only one way to find out.
Once the maidens opened up the doors, the Emperor Pikachu and Empress Pikachu were revealed.
The Emperor was an unnaturally big Pikachu who indeed wore fancy robes and a big ol' crown with longer tail and ears whilst being shinier than a normal Shiny Pikachu. And as an extension, he held a scepter with a Pikachu face on it as his yellow fur was a great big bushy beard, indicating how old he was. He managed to be the Pikachu they all thought of when they heard of him. As for the Empress, she was just a normal Pikachu. But her ears were in the shape of hearts, similar to her tail.
"Wow! Look at that Pikachu! He's huge!" Pinkie pointed out the emperor's appearance.
"Pinkie Pie! You can't say that in front of an emperor!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Ooh. Sorry."
"Nothing in the Dream World will ever surpass this." Luna shook her head.
"Indeed. Greetings, Emperor and Empress Pikachu." Celestia showed her respect, bowing to them. The two royal Pikachu showed their respect back, recognizing Celestia as royalty as well. Her and Luna's regalia kind of gave it away.
"Pika! Pikachu!"
"Emperor Pikachu said, come here, my boy!" Fluttershy translated, speaking in a deep voice resembling that of a king. "Sorry. Had to get in character there."
"Pika?" Ash's Pikachu went up to the two of them, curious and confused on what was going on or what was about to happen. "Pikachu."
"PI! Pika!" The emperor introduced himself along with the empress. "Pikachu!"
"They say their names are Emperor PikaSupreme and Empress PikaRegal," Fluttershy revealed their names. "Oh my. Those names are something."
PikaSupreme put his arm around Ash's' Pikachu, giving the reason he summoned him here. And it was a shocker to Pikachu and everyone who got the translation from Fluttershy.
"What?!" Fluttershy pulled back.
"What?! What did he say?!" Twilight asked, wanting to know.
"He said that Pikachu has been chosen to be the new ruler of Pikachu-kind!"
"Say what now?!" Ash's hat flew off him from sheer shock and surprise.
"Pikachu. PikaPika."
"Emperor PikaSupreme says that he and his wife have been ruling Pikachu-kind for centuries on end, even when the Pikachu population was minuscule. They've watched as new Pikachu come and go and they've even defended their entire empire from any opposing Pokemon with their entire Pikachu army."
"There's a Pikachu army?" Luna uttered.
"But they've grown old and weaker in their age. Emperor PikaSupreme can barely get off his throne now without his wife, Empress PikaRegal helping him up. He used to be a mighty warrior that would emit electricity so powerful that even Ground-Type Pokemon would fear him. But his old age has changed that."
"Pikachu." PikaSupreme nodded, knowing the unfortunate truth. He's lost his touch.
"So he's chosen Ash's Pikachu to be the new ruler. He could sense his overflowing surge of electricity the moment he arrived at the Pikachu Highlands. He's sure that he's found the next in line to be Emperor."
"This is the last thing I would expect from a Pikachu." Celestia's eyes widened as Passion nodded in agreement.
"Pi..." Ash's Pikachu wasn't too sure about this. This was all happening so fast. And the thought of being a ruler of an entire species sounded a bit too much for him.
"Pikachu." PikaSupreme was ready to convince Pikachu by showing off his beautiful daughter who just so happened to be standing by the door, winking at Ash's Pikachu. Surely, that'll work. "PIka-Pika?" PikaSupreme nudged Pikachu, basically telling him that he'll get to rule side by side with his gorgeous daughter.
"Pi..." Pikachu rubbed his head, still unsure about this.
The maidens of the royal Pikachu family were ordered to tend to Ash and the others. They were friends of Pikachu after all so high treatment is deserving of them.
"I can't believe that a bunch of Pikachu can be this wealthy!" Rainbow Dash and her friends were all seated at a large banquet table with tons of food to eat. Mostly Pokemon food that the Pikachu species enjoy. To an extent, humans can enjoy Pokemon food and maybe ponies too? Only one way to find out.
"Pikachu!" A Pikachu chef jumped onto the table, ordering Celestia and everypony to eat up. And they couldn't say no to a face that adorable and furious at the same time.
"...Can we even eat these?" Rarity used her magic to pick up an unidentified mush of food that was an odd colour of red.
"Won't know unless we try." Applejack shoved the mush inside her mouth, getting the first taste. "Mmm! Not bad!"
"Pika!" PikaSupreme was chatting with Ash's Pikachu still trying to convince him to be the ruler. He let Pikachu have the best food in the castle due to this. He told his daughter to come along as she went up to Pikachu.
"Pika...?" The princess Pikachu uttered.
"Oooh. Look at that!" Pinkie Pie noticed the princess Pikachu getting up close to Ash's Pikachu, trying to grab his attention.
"What do you think of this Ash?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know. Pikachu being the ruler of an entire empire? As cool as that sounds...I don't wanna leave my best buddy behind, ya know."
"Ash Ketchum is correct. This is all happening too fast." Luna said. "I never expected a visit to a Pikachu only area would result in this. What say you sister?"
"I think it's adorable!" Celestia gawked. "Cobalion's missing out. Wonder what's taking him so long?"
"Pikachu..." Ash's Pikachu sighed as the princess nuzzled her sacs on his. "Pi?"
"PIKACHU!" Here came another one. Another Pikachu from a royal nobility and this time, this was a Pikachu who had long hair and was in love with the Pikachu Princess. And seeing her get all comfortable with Ash's Pikachu enraged him the moment he entered the room.
"Oh, that can't be good." Fluttershy's eyes widened.
"Why? What's up with that one?" Applejack asked.
"From what I can tell, that Pikachu's not so happy about the princess getting all mushy with Ash's Pikachu."
"Really now...?" Rarity thought for a bit. Examining the possible scenario outcome had her mind razing about. "Oh! A perfect rivalry story! How romantic!"
"Is it?" Ash scratched his head.
"PIKACHU!" The long-haired Pikachu hopped on the table, causing it to shake as he went up to Ash's Pikachu. "Pika-Pika!"
"He says... Direct your non-royal sacs away from my future bride. I PikaNoble the XVIII command you." Fluttershy translated. "Oh my. That name's much more overwhelming than the others."
"Chu?" The princess hid behind Ash's Pikachu terrified.
"Do we perhaps do something about this, sister?"
"No, no. This happened before in our family. Let it play out by itself."
"Pi..." PikaNoble pointed at Ash's Pikachu, challenging him from the looks of it. It didn't take Fluttershy translating to let everypony know that he's been challenged to a duel.
"A DUEL?!" They all said.
"Pikachu?!" Ash's Pikachu perked up in a surprised manner. PikaSupreme and PikaRegail tried to reason with PikaNoble, but he was way too stubborn to be reasoned with. His decision had been set in stone.
"If he wants to be battle, then so be it! Come on buddy!" Ash stood up, slamming his hands on the table.
"No, Ash!" Celestia stopped him. "This is a duel assigned by royalty. No one else can get involved but the two duelists. So you can't command Pikachu this time."
"Aw...bummer." Ash sat down, sighing.
"Pikachu..." PikaNoble leaned forward getting his face all in front of Ash's Pikachu. "Pi-Pi-Pikachu..."
Ash's Pikachu could only gulp. No getting out this now.
The duel was to take place outside with the entire Pikachu Highlands watching. This was to decide everything that Ash's Pikachu wasn't even up for in the first place.
"All of this for one Pikachu princess?" Rainbow Dash found this absurd. "Meh. It's not that special.
"IT IS SPECIAL, RAINBOW DASH!" Both Twilight and Rarity bellowed at her.
"Pikachu! Pika-Pikachu-Pi!" PikaNoble stomped his foot on the ground, demanding that Ash's Pikachu ready himself.
"Pikapi..." Ash's Pikachu looked over to his trainer for help.
"Sorry, buddy. I can't do anything in this situation." Ash let out a nervous grin. Ash's Pikachu had no choice but to go with it. And hopefully, he can leave home with his trainer.
"Pika." PikaSupreme walked in between the two, explaining the rules to them both. They may use 4 moves each, going with the traditional trainer rules. The duel will be over when either one faints. Simple enough. Keeps in line with a normal Pokemon battle. "PIKA!" He gave the signal for the duel to begin.
"Pika-ka-ka-ka!" PikaNoble chuckled, keeping his distance. Both Pikachu were ready to begin with everyone's attention on them only. The duel started off with PikaNobe tossing forward an Electro Ball from his tail."
"Pika?!" Ash's Pikachu rolled out of the way to avoid the incoming ball. When he turned his head to face PikaNoble, he noticed that he was running straight for him with an Iron Tail already prepared. Ash's Pikachu responded with his own Iron Tail as the two clashed tails. They pushed each other back, proving to be equal in strength.
PikaNoble utilized the move Volt Tackle to charge in with 100,000 volts surrounding him. Ash's Pikachu did something similar but in the form of Quick Attack. They had a small struggle with one trying to push the other back, but ultimately Volt Tackle managed to push through, sending Ash's Pikachu into the sky.
"Pika...Chu!" Ash's Pikachu sent a Thunderbolt downwards whilst in midair, but this proved to be futile since PikaNoble absorbed it, revealing his ability.
"His ability's Lightningrod?!" Ash stood up.
"What's Lightning Rod?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"An ability that allows the Pokemon to draw in electrical moves, absorbing them and turning it into power. So no matter what Pikachu does, Electric-Type moves are just gonna fuel this guy."
"What?! How is that even fair!" Pinkie pulled her mane. "This is rigged I tell you!"
"Pika..." PikaNoble grinned, as he raised his hands up. From above, the clouds were forming over Ash's Pikachu with thunder rumbling. And from above, the move Thunder had been activated, striking the airborne Pikachu.
"PIKA!" Ash's Pikachu cried out. As he was falling down, PikaNoble knocked him away by striking an Iron Tail to his face. Ash's Pikachu went tumbling across the ground, rolling about.
"Oh, dear!" Fluttershy and the Pikachu covered their eyes.
"Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu however, recovered quickly by jumping up and sliding on the ground. He was highly resilient from travelling for so many years after all. But so was PikaNoble, who's gone through his fair share of battles in his time.
"Come on, Pikachu! Knock that pompous jerk silly!" Pinkie bellowed from the crowd.
"Pikachu." PikaNoble gave the 'Bring it on' motion with his hands, taunting him.
"Chu." Ash's Pikachu decided not to fall for the taunt, keeping his head cool. He knew that all he had to do was defeat this guy and he could go home. But the ruler part is still an issue. He moved in with Quick Attack, attacking PikaNoble at blinding speeds. This made the noble Pikachu stagger back a bit whilst Ash's Pikachu kept up the attack by returning the Iron Tail favour to him with his own.
Iron Tail was swung on PikaNoble's face and body repeatedly by Ash's Pikachu. He was then met by an overhead Iron Tail that sent him to the ground.
"Yes! Awesome job, Pikachu!" Rainbow Dash cheered as the entire Pikachu crowd was loving this. Cobalion had finally arrived, seeing the entire event go down.
"What is happening here?" He asked.
"Cobalion, you made it! You're just in time to see this royal duel continue."
"Royal duel? Against Pikachu's?"
"Pika..." PikaNoble pulled a surprise attack by using a 5th move. He had used the move Thunder Punch but he used such minimal electricity that he disguised it as a normal punch. This Thunder Punch struck the chin of his opposing Pikachu, knocking him back.
"Hey, I saw that! He used a fifth move!" Applejack noticed. But unfortunately, PikaSupreme didn't.
"Pika!" PikaNoble decided to pummel on Ash's Pikachu by also using multiple Iron Tails as a form of payback. These ones are much more aggressive than Ash's Pikachu's. The beatdown was being put on his fellow Electric Mouse Pokemon as everyone could actually feel the impacts as if they were getting hit by it themselves. This went on for 18 seconds total with no signs of stopping.
Luna was biting her hooves, holding onto Celestia's neck, unsure if Ash's Pikachu could win this. "Come on...Show him what for!"
"Luna...my neck..." Celestia was struggling to breathe.
"PIKA!" PikaNoble was about to deliver the finishing blow until Ash's Pikachu performed some of the silly shenanigans that he got from his trainer. He stomped on the final Iron Tail, pinning it to the ground and halting PikaNoble's attack. "Pika?!" The noble Pikachu was struggling to get his tail up but Ash's Pikachu was keeping his foot firm on the tail.
"Pika...Chu!" Ash's Pikachu then grabbed PikaNoble all of a sudden, lifting him up.
"He's gonna toss him?!" Twilight's jaw dropped.
"CHU!" Ash's Pikachu utilized all of his strength as he tossed PikaNoble afar. But it didn't quite end there. Quick Attack was a follow up as PikaNoble was hit while midair. And it still didn't stop there. Ash's Pikachu followed up with an Iron Tail to the back, sending the noble Pikachu down to the ground. "PIKA!"
"What an impact! Great job, buddy!" Ash congratulated his partner.
PikaNoble got up from the ground, holding his head and back. Ash's Pikachu really dealt some heavy damage on him. "Pika..." But he wasn't about to give up so easily. He was determined to win this. From above, he summoned not one, but five Thunder's from above. He was planning to overwhelm Ash's Pikachu with an endless assault of Thunder.
"Pika?!" Ash's Pikachu gasped, rolling out of the way of the first Thunder. He began running from the others whilst PikaNoble kept up the frenzy of Thunders. They were each destroying the ground as they hit, causing small craters to form. PikeNoble was trying to catch his fellow Electric Mouse, but he was way too speedy. Ash's Pikachu decided that this battle had to come to an end. He was planning to rush in with a mighty Quick Attack and Iron Tail in hopes of taking down PikaNoble.
The final stretch was here as multiple bolts of thunder were aimed at Pikachu whilst he was heading in with Quick Attack. It looked like it was going to be close. The Thunder was closing in while Ash's Pikachu was closing in on PikaNoble. But like his trainer, Ash's Pikachu always had something up his sleeve. He used Iron Tail at the last second to absorb the Thunders that were aimed at him, making them a part of his Iron Tail.
He crashed into PikaNoble with Quick Attack and followed up with a mighty finishing blow. He scattered the lightning on his tail, slamming Iron Tail on PikaNoble's face, rocketing him to the ground, forming a large dust cloud.
The duel was settled. Ash's Pikachu was victorious as PikaNoble had fainted.
"Pikachu! Pikapi-Pikachu!" PikaSupreme announced the winner as the entire Pikachu Highlands celebrated in victory.
"You did it buddy!" Ash ran over his Pikachu, picking him up as he was exhausted.
"Pikapi..." Pikachu raised his fist in victory.
"That was truly an amazing duel! Congratulations!" Celestia clapped her hooves together.
"I can't believe how awesome a battle between two Pikachu's can be." Rainbow Dash stunned. "Nice."
"Pika!" The princess Pikachu ran over to the victor, showing her affection even more to him. "Pikachu!"
"Pi-Pi-Pikachu!" PikaSupreme laughed, proud of Pikachu's victory against a noble. He battled magnificently. This only made him much more worthy of the title as ruler. PikaNoble got up, walking towards the one that defeated him, giving him a bow of respect. He's earned it and proven to be the one worthy of having the princess as his bride. If he wanted to that is. "Chu. Pika-Pikachu!" PikaSupreme raised his sceptre up.
"Emperor PikaSupreme says...You've earned the title of Emperor due to that stunning display of skill. Not many Pikachu can go toe to toe with PikaNoble and come out victorious. You are truly the next in line to rule. What do you say, my boy?"
"Pika...Pikachu." Pikachu shook his head, not accepting it.
"PIKA!?" PikaSupreme fell on his back, surprised at the answer. It was pretty obvious that he was going to say no anyways.
"Kinda saw that coming. Pikachu loves the offer but...he doesn't think he's fit to be a ruler." Ash explained.
"Pikachu." Pikachu nodded in response to Ash's words.
"Hope that doesn't bring you down too much, PikaSupreme." Ash kneeled down as PikaRegal helped her husband up.
"Chu...Pikachu." PikaSupreme stood up, stomping his spectre.
"Emperor PikaSupreme says that he understands your decision. A great warrior should also have their own free will. And it was selfish of me to try and force this upon you."
"What a wonderful display..." Rarity wiped her tears as Spike gave her a napkin. "Its art in its purest form!" She began to wail from this, making tears akin to that of a river.
"I apologize if I was too late. I had to save some ponies along the way," said Cobalion.
"I understand. Maybe next time." Celestia replied.
It was about time to take their leave. The visit to the highlands was definitely worth every second.
"PIKACHU!" All the Pikachu in the highlands waved goodbye to Ash's Pikachu and his friends, wishing him luck.
"Pika-Pika!" Ash's Pikachu promised that he'll come back to visit them someday and have a blast. But before they could take their leave, the Pikachu Princess ran up to Ash's Pikachu giving him a farewell gift.
"What is she-" Luna's words were halted as she and everypony else saw the princess gave Ash's Pikachu a smooch on the cheek. This was really their first time seeing something like this and the result made a few of them cover their eyes in embarrassment whilst Ash, Spike, Cobalion and Rainbow Dash didn't see the big deal in this. "Oh...my!"
"Pikachu..." Ash's Pikachu rubbed his head in embarrassment. Guess he had something to remember them by.
Today was an interesting visit. Not what they were expecting when they planned to arrive at Pikachu valley. They got to witness an entire, town nobility and a royal family of Pikachu in one day plus a duel. It wasn't for nothing at the end of it all. And who knows what other Pokemon areas are out there in Equestria, waiting to be discovered with their own unique stories to tell as the journey continues!
