//------------------------------// // First Rounds are a-go! // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Canterlot. Canterlot Stadium. Day. The Canterlot Junior Cup had begun. After an exhibition match between Ash and Tobias had occurred, the official competition could begin with the first match-up being Gelidity vs Sapphire Flash. Speaking of which, they had just now stepped into the arena as the first match was now. Watching from atop the balcony of Canterlot Castle were Ash, Celestia and Tobias. Ash was especially excited as the winner of this entire competition would get to battle him. "Alright then. Both trainers, please send out your Pokemon." The referee spoke. "I will choose my Oricorio." Gelidity already made her choice, sending her Pokemon out in the form of Oricorio. In this case, it was the Baile Style Oricorio. "Oricorio!" "Then, I'll go with my Simipour!" Sapphire Flash then revealed her Simipour which she chose to counter Gelidity's Baile Style Oricorio. "Simipour!" "The battle will be over when both Pokemon on either side are unable to battle. You have only 10 minutes on the clock. So...begin!" "I'll go first! Simipour! Water Pledge!" "Simi!" Simipour initiated the first attack. It started by slamming its hand into the ground. Afterwards, a column of water came rising up in droves. "Oricorio! Revelation Dance! Dance around it!" "Corio!" However, once the columns came its way, Oricorio started doing what it does best. Dancing. It closed its eyes, dancing with the intensity of fire. A fire so powerful that it can combat even the beautiful waves. It spun around at great speeds, weaving the column of water that came its way while also moving in a zig-zag pattern. And of course, Revelation Dance involves an attack. In this case, a fiery one. Oricorio then leapt into the air, doing a dance with some airtime before then unleashing a burst of fire that came crashing down. The flames had then beautifully and ferociously blasted Simipour, pushing the Geyser Pokemon back. "Simi!" "I can tell that was strong, but it's not that effective," said Sapphire Flash. "I'm not taking any chances though. Confide!" "Confide?" Gelidity repeated as she didn't even know what this attack was. But she would soon find out as in the blink of an eye, Simipour appeared next to Oricorio. "Cori!" Oricorio gasped as all of a sudden, Simipour was faster than it. And once it was next to the Fire-Flying-Type, that's when Simipour started to speak in its ear. "What does Confide do?" Spike asked. "Apparently...it's a move that allows the user to tell the opponent a secret. Of all things." Twilight explained. "There's a Pokemon move for everything and this one just lowered Oricorio's attack. Nice play, Sapphire." "C-Corio..." "Now! Water Pledge!" "Simipour!" Once Oricorio was stunned, Simipour could strike, releasing another column of water by simply touching the ground once more. The column had erupted, engulfing Oricorio for some super-effective damage. "Cori!" "Yes! Great job!" Sapphire Flash cheered. "Let's keep it up by using Aqua Tail!" "Simipour!" The super-effective hits would keep on coming as Simipour then veiled its tail in water. It then leapt into the air, going for an overhead attack. "Dance again with Agility! "Co!" The Dancing Pokemon's eyes flashed red as it had then evaded Simipour's attack by pulling a limbo dance move. Right on time too. "Simi?" "Corio!" Oricorio then zoomed away, moving at blitzing speeds. As if it wasn't fast already, with a white outline around its body, it left a red blur from all of its rapid dance moves. "Look at that speed!" The announcer called out as Simipour and Sapphire Flash were struggling to keep up with Oricorio's movements. It was faster than ever. "Yikes..." Sapphire's eyes felt like they were spinning. If she kept trying to follow Oricorio, she could end up becoming dizzy in a second. "It's fine! Let's use Acrobatics to try and catch Oricorio!" "Pour!" Simipour started moving with agile speeds as well. It jumped off the grounds at nimble speeds, almost becoming a blue blur but not quite. When it tried to approach Oricorio, the Dancing Pokemon only ended zipping somewhere else, evading Simipour's kick. "Simi?" "Again!" "Simi!" Simipour tried again, chasing after Oricorio a second time, but the Fire-Flying-Type used its dance moves to evade another incoming Acrobatics. Simipour did it again and again with consecutive misses. It just couldn't seem to ht Oricorio's hyper-fast dancing. "Using contest knowledge in battle. That's my approach. Gelidity smiled with her eyes closed. "It works well because of the battle stage in Pokemon Contests. Oricorio. Mirror Move!" "Co!" And with a lightning-fast step, Oricorio had combined the speed it had gained with Agility and its amazing dance moves with Mirror Move, copying Acrobatics. This allowed it to move faster than ever as it appeared in front of Simipour before it and Sapphire Flash could even see it coming. "Simipour?!" "Oh, do-" But before she could tell her partner to dodge, Oricorio did a stylish upper kick that raised Simipour's head while also sending it into the air. After that, Oricorio started moving through the air with Acrobatics, dancing and kicking Simipour so fast that all that could be seen was an array of sparks and a red blur hitting Simipour constantly in seconds, keeping it in the air. "S-Simipour!" "Revelation Dance now!" "Corio!" After hitting Simipour multiple times Oricoro appeared above the Geyser Pokemon, stepping on its face with a dance move that made the Water-Type stagger. After that devastating step, Simipour had been launched to the ground. The dust emerged as Oricorio gracefully landed on the ground, showing some style as usual. Sapphire Flash gasped as the smoke was starting to clear. It seemed that Confide didn't weaken Oricorio enough as that final Revelation Dance ended up knocking Simipour out, resulting in the Geyser Pokemon fainting. "Simipour is unable to battle! Oricorio wins! Thus, the victor is Gelidity!" The referee announced Gelidity as the winner as Sapphire Flash was the first to be knocked out. "Aw...Bummer." Sapphire Flash sighed as she was disappointed by her loss. "Just when I chose the right Pokemon. Thanks for trying anyway, Simipour." "Simipour." "Great stuff, you two!" Ash roared all the way over the balcony as his voice joined the various cheers that went off from that brief but entertaining battle. "Oricorio. Excellent job." Gelidity said to the Dancing Pokemon. Oricorio took a bow to everyone after that great performance. Even in a Pokemon Battle, it still felt like showing off. "Well, I can't say I'm not too surprised." Sapphire Flash went over after returning Simipour. "I heard about you from Pokemon Contests. And you're an amazing coordinator there. The best in Equestria. So this loss isn't so painful." "You did well too." Gelidity paid her respect as well. "Thank for you the battle, Sapphire. If you'd be so kind? Cheer for me through it all." "I will now. Good luck. And I hope to see you against Ash." "That's it for round one. Now it's time for round 2. Velvetwind vs Rhapsody. And then after that, we'll have Quick Solve vs Polly." The announcer spoke. Gelidity and Sapphire Flash bid farewell to each other before then parting ways. The other two rounds went on. Velvetwind especially showed her improvement to her friends after they haven't seen each other for a while. She brought out one of her Pokemon which turned out to be a Bronzor instead of her signature Drifblim while she was currently facing off against Rhapsody's Purugly. The battle between the two already had a few rounds to it as Bronzor had been pushed back by the Normal-Type. "Purugly! Use Shadow Claw!" "Pur!" Purugly jumped into the air, moving at surprising speeds for something so big and seemingly lazy, revealing its claws and extending them before they were then covered in shadows. "Oh, it's fast!" Velvetwind gasped. "I want that speed! Speed Swap!" "Bronzor!" Seeing how fast Purugly was, Bronzor decided to take that speed for itself. But not before Purugly slashed its entire body twice, sending the Bronze Pokemon flying back and dealing super-effective damage. However, once Bronzor was knocked away, it managed to shoot out a white light from its right eye. This light had the height, length and width of a string as it stung Purugly in the face. "Pur?" Purugly felt a sudden sting on its face as the string was hard to see thanks to its size. That string then caused an energy eruption around Purugly's body, causing it to gasp. Afterwards, the light around it had then flown back to Bronzor, who had just now recovered from being launched. Now, Bronzor had Purugly's speed while Purugly had Bronzor's speed, making it the slowest Pokemon currently. "Ah! But Purugly's speed is what I need!" Rhapsody exclaimed as Purugly's speed is what he wanted to use. "Oh well. That's a shame, mate." Velvetwind shrugged but she had no shame in swapping their speeds. "Heavy Slam!" "Bronzor, now faster than ever, ascended into the air with greater speeds before then planning to smash its entire body weight onto Purugly, who weighed less than it. "Purugly, use Dig!" "Pur!" Purugly then burrowed its way underground, quickly digging a hole to hide in for a bit. Bronzor came crashing down, only to end up hitting no one in the process. "Haha! How's this? Up you come, Purugly!" "Pur!" Purugly then burst out of the ground with its claws out, having the power of the Earth within it. "Now, Bronzor! Flash Cannon!" "Bron!" But now that Bronzor was faster, it immediately zipped to the side, evading Purugly's Dig. After dodging it faster than Purugly could even react or even slash, Bronzor unleashed Flash Cannon. A silver beam made out of light energy came flying out, hitting Purugly square in its stomach. "P-Pur!" Purufly's eyes widened as it was then blown back, shot right into the very hole that it burrowed through in the beginning. Using Purugly's own speed helped greatly to give Bronzor that edge as once Purugly hit the hole, making it bigger than before, it had fainted. "Pur..." "Purugly is unable to battle, Bronzor wins! Thus, the victor is Velvetwind!" Now, Velvetwind won the second match. Another victory for another young one as she flew over to Bronzor, hugging the Bronze Pokemon. The next match between Quick Solve and Polly was ongoing as well. Velvetwind had returned to the stadium room as her Pokemon and Rhapsody's Pokemon were being healed up by Nurse Joy. The other children looked at the screen watching Quick Solve and Polly go at it. It was Herdier vs Sudowoodo in this case. "Say. Do you think we'll get a full 6v6 battle with Ash depending on who wins?" Scootaloo asked while the match was ongoing. "We don't even have six Pokemon. I only have five so I'm lacking one." Sweetie Belle replied. "But...I don't think any of us are getting past one of Ash's Pokemon." "Mmm." The other foals were in agreement with that. "I don't know about that...I think I can take out one." But, Scootaloo boasted great confidence. "At least one. Not sure about more. "If it's more than just a 1-on-1, that is." "I think I have a pretty good chance myself." Diamond Tiara intervened. "Not to brag or anything." "You always brag..." Apple Bloom squinted. "I've seen enough of Ash's battles to predict him. Kind of. Ash is all about being unpredictable, so I just have to predict the unpredictable." "How does one do that?" Gelidity asked. "No idea. But I'll think of something. We have a lot of matches left to go before any of us reach Ash." "UH...Maybe we can skip out on battling Ash and just go for the cup? Seems like a safer bet to me." Rumble suggested. "I'd want that cup most of all." "It would look good in my room." Diamond Tiara replied as suddenly, the match between Quick Solve and Polly had ended. They looked at the screen as Quick Solve's Herdier barely managed to beat Polly's Sudowoodo. A new winner of this bracket had been made. "And it looks like that's my cue. Rocky Road, right?" "Hm? Yeah, that's me." The colt raised his hoof. "Let's make it a good one." "Are you gonna use Purrloin for this one?" Apple Bloom asked, wondering if Diamond Tiara might use those new Pokemon in this round. "Wait and see." She grinned before then walking out to the stadium alongside Rocky Road. Quick Solve and Polly returned indoors, heading straight for Nurse Joy and her Chansey. Over at the Canterlot Castle balcony, Ash was having a great time as always watching these battles occur. Tobias observed them closely, seeing just what this new generation of trainers that reside in another world were capable of. "With the rate these battles are going at, we might not even need a second day. Maybe." Celestia commented. "I suppose I won't have much time to look away and check up on Cadence or the others. Or else I might miss something." "Cadence? Oh, they aren't here." Ash noticed, shuffling his head around. "Cadence and the Crystal Empire are busy right now. Busy with keeping an eye on the country of Magehold. After all, it's said to be near the Crystal Empire, hidden greatly." "Ooh, I gotcha." Ash nodded in understanding. "Pikachu." "For something as serious as Yveltal which threatens all life, we need to be one step ahead of them." "Yveltal, you say..." Tobias joined the conversation. "That would be a terrible Pokemon for someone to use against everyone. Almost nothing can withstand Yveltal's power to wipe out life. And you have someone in this world wanting to get their hooves on such a Pokemon?" "What can we say? The concept of Pokemon is exciting to practically everyone." Celestia chuckled. Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara and Rocky Road were then ordered to bring out their Pokemon, drawing the attention of Ash, Celestia and Tobias back to the tournament. "Go! Vanilluxe!" Rocky Road had sent out his Vanilluxe by kicking the Poke Ball with his hooves. "Vanilluxe!" "Then say hello to my Seviper!" Diamond Tiara revealed her new Pokemon by rolling the Poke Ball on the ground. Out came Seviper. "Seviper!" "Seviper...? Wait a minute." Sweetie Belle squinted her eyes. "Isn't that her mom's Pokemon?" "I think she might've borrowed Pokemon from her parents. She doesn't have new ones." Scootaloo pieced it together quickly. "But that doesn't matter. Pokemon's a Pokemon." "Battle start!" "Okay, Vanilluxe! Icicle Spear, go!" "Vanill!" Vanilluxe went first, manipulating the atmosphere itself to freeze it. By freezing parts of the atmosphere, it had summoned five sharp icicles before then launching them with its mind. "Seviper, Poison Jab!" "Sevi!" Seviper hissed before slithering towards the shards. It had covered its tail in poison before then using its agile body to evade the shards. Only three of them as Seviper had used its tail to smash the shards before then lunging forward to gain some airtime. "Viper!" After evading and destroying some of the shards, Seviper had slapped Vanilluxe with its poisonous tail, causing the Snowstorm Pokemon to spin away. "V-Vanilluxe!" "Sevi." Seviper then slithered back, waiting for Diamond Tiara's next command. Despite being a Pokemon that belonged to her mother, Seviper had a good bond with Diamond Tiara that allowed her to use the Poison-Type in battle. "Now, go in again! But this time with Iron Tail!" "Viper! Seviper would approach Vanilluxe once more, going in for a super-effective blow this time as its tail hardened to match that of iron. "I don't think so! Ice Beam!" "Vanill!" But once Seviper got close enough, one of the heads of Vanilluxe unleashed a beam of ice. Seviper's tail clashed with this beam, holding it back, however, that's where the other head came in. The second had also used Ice Beam while Seviper was already busy with one. "Vi?!" Seviper had been hit from the side by a second Ice Beam, resulting in a blindsided hit from two Pokemon that were essentially one. This can certainly be considered great teamwork as Seviper's body had been frozen from that Ice Beam, placing the Fang Snake Pokemon in an icy prison. "Sevi!" "Ah! Seviper!" Diamond Tiara gasped as the icy prison then fell to the ground with Vanilluxe flying back. "Hehehe." Rocky Road made a cheeky laugh while putting his hoof over his face. "How's that? Flash Cannon!" "Vanill!" After freezing Seviper, Vanilluxe struck while it was restrained, unleashing a silver beam from both of her mouths. Seviper couldn't do anything about this and thus, Flash Cannon landed, blowing the Fang Snake Pokemon back along with its icy prison which did not break. The icy prison then crashed to the ground with Seviper tilted over. "Hmph." Diamond Tiara scoffed before smiling, not showing any fear. "That can be fixed. Seviper, Flamethrower!" "S-Sevi...!" Seviper's icy prison suddenly started turning red as the temperatures within started rising. Then, a burst of flames emerged from the icy prison, melting and shattering the ice as Seviper managed to free itself. "Oh!" Rocky Road and Vanilluxe gasped in unison. "That was short-lived. Now, use Flamethrower again!" "Seviper!" Once it was free, Seviper opened its mouth, unleashing scarlet flames in the form of a wave. "Flash Cannon, quick!" "Nilluxe!" Both heads of Vanilluxe had used Flash Cannon, sending two light beams out. The two beams formed to create a bigger one but Seviper's Flamethrower was strong enough to cancel them both out, resulting in an explosion. "Now! Glare!" "Sevi!" Seviper struck while there was a smoke cloud. It did so by widening its eyes. Even with this smoke cloud, Seviper's eyes could still be seen as they were making a strange pattern that was enough to intimidate the Ice-Type. But it did more than just intimidate it. It paralyzed Vanilluxe. "V-Vanilluxe!" "Not my Vanilluxe!" "How's that? Payback for freezing my Seviper. Bet you don't have anything to counter this." "Mmrgh..." Rocky Road growled. "I can still attack though! Flash Cannon!" "If you're quick enough! Seviper, Iron Tail! Go!" "Seviper!" Seviper moved faster than Vanilluxe could move. But then again, Vanilluxe couldn't move at all. For this one second, the paralysis had kicked in, causing it to twitch and stagger, giving Seviper a free hit. The Fang Snake Pokemon leapt off the ground, taking off like a missile. It was even positioned like a missile. "Viper!" Seviper then hardened its tail before smashing it onto Vanilluxe from above. "Vani!" Vanilluxe was then sent rocketing to the ground. Some sprinkle of snow came out as the dust settled. And within it, it was revealed that Vanilluxe had fainted. "Vanilluxe..." "Vanilluxe is unable to battle! Seviper wins! Thus, the victor is Diamond Tiara." "Wasn't even an issue." She shrugged while cheers went off. Just what she wanted to hear. Rocky Road sighed as he was out of the round. "Great work, Seviper. I bet mom is going to be so proud of this. She's probably here watching it now." "Seviper." "Thanks, Vanilluxe. Return." Rocky Road brought her Vanilluxe back. "Mmm...That's a shame." "I've got something you can use for your next battle. I'd suggest getting a Pokemon that can cause status conditions without using a move. Like a Pikachu with Static. That way, you'll have better options. Just a suggestion." Even after defeating him, Diamond Tiara passed on some advice for her fellow foal. "Oh...That is a good idea! I'll catch a Pokemon with that kind of ability! Thanks, Diamond Tiara!" "My pleasure." "She's that good with someone else's Pokemon? Pretty jealous..." Sweetie Belle puffed her cheeks. "But I bet it's only for battles and not contests. Hopefully." "So that means the other Pokemon is her dad's." Scootaloo deduced. "And maybe a fourth one we don't know about?" "Alright! It's my turn!" Interrupting Scootaloo was Sunrise Sprint as it would be his turn along with Blue Moon to have their match. Diamond Tiara and Rocky Road returned indoors, heading straight for Nurse Joy while Sunrise and Blue Moon ran out. Blue Moon seemed to be fairly secretive, wearing a hat that covered most of her face instead of his mouth. A fang could be seen there as this hat was strangely effective at casting a shadow, despite them being inside a room with a lot of light. Blue Moon also walked quietly while wearing a jacket that concealed what seemed to be wings. "Hey, Diamond Tiara. How come you didn't tell us you were using your parent's Pokemon? I mean, it's not that big of a surprise." Scootaloo went over. "It's not? W-Well, I had to use them because...I still don't have any new Pokemon with me." "Seriously?" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle both said. "No. I keep saying I'll get some, but I'm so picky. Not even the Pokemon House has one I want. I only chose Purrloin because she was so perfect for me." The earth pony smiled. "If only there was a Pokemon as great as my Purrloin, I'd pick it." "That's kinda lame..." Scootaloo lowered her eyes at Diamond Tiara's reasoning for not having another Pokemon by now. "How are you gonna take part in the contests if you're low on Pokemon?" The filly unicorn asked. "Looks like we're doing something else after this competition is over." Scootaloo hatched a plan. "How about we pick out a Pokemon for you ourselves?" "Sure but none of them strike my fancy. But...I guess I'd want a starter Pokemon. Those might work." "Which one?" The three of them leaned forward. "Uh...Well, Purrloin is great because she gets me. We're like sisters in a way. We think the same things together and we always know what we want." Diamond Tiara started explaining herself while Sunrise and Blue Moon were around to begin their match. "How does Charmander sound?" Scootaloo asked. "Ew, no. Mom's scared of lizards." Charmander had been shut down. "Oooh. Chikorita's a pretty Pokemon. How about it?" Apple Bloom added, suggesting a Grass-Type. "It's also a dinosaur. Which is a lizard. But it is pretty. And I've heard stuff about Ash's Bayleef too..." Diamond Tiara did think about Chikorita as a possible choice. "Okay. No lizards. That makes Snivy's out of the picture too. What about Fennekin? It's a fox. Foxes are close to cats, right?" Sweetie Belle questioned. "Those are dogs." Diamond Tiara corrected. "But, I guess Fennekin is good. Braixen is cute too and I do love the way Delphox looks." "Litten's definitely a cat." Apple Bloom nodded. "That's the one you can have. Sounds like Twilight's lab is the way to go." "These options are nice. But will they be like my Purrloin?" "It doesn't really matter what they'd be like, my little pony." Walking up to Diamond Tiara and joining the conversation of the foals was Nurse Joy after bringing over her Seviper. "You can have a Pokemon of any kind with any personality. I'm sure your Purrloin resonates with you the most. Lots of trainers have a Pokemon they can relate to. Like me and my Chansey. And I suppose, my entire family alongside other Pokemon such as a Blissey and Audino." "Chansey." "I guess so..." "Your Pokemon will love you either way. Whether they be energetic or lazy. There's a little it of something in every Pokemon that everyone can relate to." "Oh. R-Right." Diamond Tiara nodded. "I guess I just love my Purrloin so much." "Nothing wrong with that. I love my Chansey to the core as if she was my own sister. That means I have more sisters in my family." "Chansey." "Oh...Look at that!" Rumble then turned his attention to the screen that showed Sunrise Sprint vs Blue Moon. Everyone soon turned to face it, witnessing the progress of this battle. So far, Sunrise looked to be in the lead with his Conkeldurr doing a great job at putting some pressure in. However, this Blue Moon character was eerily calm as she was batting with a Pangoro. "I've got this! Is my brother watching?" Sunrise raised his head, looking at the crowd to see if his brother was observing his battle. Win or lose, he wanted his brother to be proud of him. Indeed, Daylight Blazer was within the crowd, watching his brother. "Yes!" "That must give you some strength, right?" Blue Moon suddenly spoke. "Seeing your brother watch you?" "Oh, it does. And I'm gonna push that by beating you! Go! Use Superpower, Conkeldurr!" "Conkel!"Conkeldurr then ran towards his fellow Fighting-Type, pouring Infinity Energy into his concrete pillars. "Then, I should end this quickly. Dragon Claw!" "Pango!" Pangoro stomped on the ground, summoning draconic energy around his hands which then formed into an energy claw. Pangoro slashed towards Conkeldurr's pillars, resulting in a clash. It was a back and forth one as the claws kept meeting with the pillars. The pillars would not break for a second, but neither could Conkeldurr overpower Pangoro. "Grab the pillars!" "Goro!" Just then, Pangoro had grabbed one of the pillars while still using the strength of Dragon Claw. He promptly ceased the back and forth clashing. "Con?!" "Hey! Let go! Conkeldurr! Hyper Beam!" "Conkel...!" Conkeldurr opened his mouth, building up a beam of Infinity Energy while also being close to Pangoro. If this attack were to hit up close, the result would be devastating. "Throat Chop." "Pangoro!" But stopping that from happening was a hard hit to the throat from Pangoro. By hitting the throat of Conkeldurr, the Fighting-Type ended up coughing as Hyper Beam had been interrupted. Pangoro had also removed one of its pillars from its hand. "Keldurr...!" "Now! Seismic Toss!" "Goro!" Pangoro had then thrown a pillar at Conkeldurr, causing him to flinch while he was still recovering from his throat being hit. Pangoro then grabbed the Conkeldurr, ascending into the air with him. It was an impressive height as Pangoro started spinning while coming down with Conkeldurr. "C-Con?!" "Pangoro!" A direct crash into the ground. Headfirst too. The arena ground cracked a bit as a large dust cloud had emerged in the shape of an explosion. Everyone else winced as they felt that impact. It was one of the scenarios where if someone was hit in a certain way, everyone could feel it. And this was one of them. Pangoro jumped out of the moon as Blue Moon smiled with an open fang. "Conkeldurr..." Unfortunately, Conkeldurr had fainted with the pillars resting next to him. "Conkeldurr is unable to battle! Pangoro wins! Thus, the victor is Blue Moon." "Aw come on!" Sunrise Sprint groaned before shaking his head and returning his Conkeldurr. "Thanks, Conkledurr. Looks like we have to improve again." "Good work, Pangoro." Blue Moon said as the sun was starting to shine brighter than ever as the afternoon had come. Blue Moon gasped before then returning the Daunting Pokemon. She then turned around, trotting away. "Hey! Aren't you going to say anything?!" Sunrise shouted. "Sorry. I have to go and...grab something to eat! I'm very hungry!" Blue Moon made an excuse before then bolting off. "Okay then..." Sunrise shrugged before looking at the crowd. Even if he lost, his brother was still proud of him, giving him an approving smile. But he would like a moment where he won an entire competition. "Oh, well. Maybe next time in the Equestria League." Back of the stadium. Blue Moon had run off to the back of the stadium where the sun wasn't shining as much. She took a deep breath before leaning against the walls, hiding in the shadows. "The sun's getting too bright now..." She said. "But it's fine. These battles are fast. And if I can keep up this undercover persona, I can win and head home." She then removed her hat and jacket, revealing who she truly was. This was a disguise. Not the clothing but rather her name. She revealed her true self. Not a regular pony. But a vampire. As the journey continues. Chapter 812 End.
