Celestia was in the Canterlot Royal Nursing Room.

She had taken an injury like no other. The hole in her back and stomach was hurting her with levels of pain that she had never experienced before. The Hyper Beam really did a number on her. As for the ponies from Saddle-Arabia, they were currently staying at Canterlot since their home has been taken over by Team Plasma.

Luna and Passion were watching from the window, seeing their sister greatly injured as the doctors were doing their best to heal her. 

Tears had filled Passion's eyes. It hurt her, seeing her trainer in this condition. It hurt Luna even more. She was more than just upset and sad now. She felt an uncontrollable rage boiling up in her. One that she had never felt before in her life, ever.

She hated Ghetsis. More than anypony. The anger in her was rising up to such extreme levels that it was close to awakening an old dark persona that she dreaded would never come back.

Twilight and the others had caught news of what happened to Celestia. Twilight as well was greatly devastated by the news. Celestia was like a mother to her.

"It can't be." Her heart sank when she Celestia in her current state. "Princess Celestia."

"Who did this?" Rainbow Dash muttered.

"Ghetsis did. It was all Ghetsis." Luna answered as she looked to the ground. The Mane 6 glanced at Luna, seeing familiar dark magic surround her. "His fault. HIS fault!"

Twilight saw this magic as she recognized it as Nightmare Moon. 

"Princess Luna... Your magic!" She pointed out.

Luna snapped out of it for a moment, making the dark magic fizzle out.

The young princess of the night ran iff, heading to her room, upset. 

All of Cantelort was left devastated from this. And to make matters worse, this made them much more terrified of Ghetsis, fearing the absolute worst. Ghetsis had managed to make himself that important and known in the world that easily.

"W-W-What do we do? If even Celestia couldn't stop him then-" Rarity was panicking again. Understandably so. "Twilight?"

"I...I don't know!" Twilight was struggling to take this all in.

"You aren't giving up so easily now are you?" Cobalion said, walking up to Twilight.

"Cobalion?"

"I haven't given up yet. I'm heading back to that Saddle-Arabia kingdom."

"You're going back? But you can't! You saw what happened to Princess Celestia!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"I know. But the ponies of Saddle-Arabia have had their home stolen from them. I cannot let that go." Cobalion has had a similar experience like this before. For the longest time, the Swords of Justice have been protecting other Pokemon who have lost their homes before. Whether it was due to land expansion of fires spreading across the forest where many Pokemon live. So he couldn't ignore this.

Twilight needed a moment as well. She walked out of the castle and out into the open streets of Canterlot. She saw and heard everypony talk about what happened to Princess Celestia, seeing them all with fears in their faces. Twilight had come to a realization. That Ghetsis truly was a force like no other. A force that could wipe them all out at any moment. 

Twilight's friends followed her outside, wanting to do their best to try and cheer her up.

Luna, on the other hand, was feeling both anger and sadness.

"I knew I should've stopped her from going... I knew it was a terrible idea. I should've been there with her." She muttered to herself. Feeling guilty about it. If she had been there, then maybe the two of them could've stopped Ghetsis. Then, that same dark magic popped up once more. A presence similar to that of Nightmare Moon.

But this wasn't Nightmare Moon anymore. Nightmare Moon was awakened by jealousy. This new persona was awakened by the culmination of rage and sorrow.

The appearance kept Luna's ethereal mane, however, her skin had turned into maroon coloring, signifying her anger. Her mane had a much sharper appearance now adding the maroon coloring to as her eyes were constantly glowing purple. This was beyond Nightmare Moon.

This was Lunar Ire.

"I will make him PAY for what he did to my sister!" Her voice had an echo involved. Darkrai looked over at Luna, seeing her new form. Her other Pokemon exited their Pokeballs, terrified of their trainer now.

Luna stomped out of her room as she left a trail of furious magic behind. 

The guards saw Luna's new form as they feared that it may be the return of Nightmare Moon. Luna turned to them, as her eyes met with them. They didn't say anything as they just stood there, terrified.

Luna reached the nursing room, seeing her sister still being nursed. 

"I will have to rule over Equestria a bit. Heal up soon sister." She said as her voice made everypony shake in fear. "And I will make sure that Ghetsis pays for what he has done."

Darkrai felt like trying to stop Luna, but this was something that even he feared. Luna's rage was unlike anything he felt. She was calm but yet the aura it gave off was destructive.

Luna went out to the balcony, looking over all of Canterlot. She then used her Royal Canterlot voice to speak to them all.

"Loyal subjects of Canterlot. I understand you are all distraught and devastated. With what happened to my sister and the disaster she spoke of almost coming true soon. I myself am most hurt. Seeing my older sister in a state like that. But do not fear. I will take over for my sister until she has been recovered. And I shall guarantee that the monster known as Ghetsis WILL be stopped. For good."

Everypony including the Mane 6 had heard this. Twilight and her friends feared this new Luna. What if she was worse than Nightmare Moon?

And that's when the same started to happen to Twilight. Her emotions shifted from sadness to anger. She could feel that same magic that Luna has flow through her. Her friends stood back as they saw this purple magic rise up within her as she started talking to her self.

"It's all his fault. It's all Ghetsis's fault. I hate him. I hate him. I HATE him!" That''s when that magic had engulfed her completely. Now she had also undergone a transformation similar to Luna.

Her once midnight blue mane had darkened, gaining an intense flow that resembled fire burning as her skin became a regal purple. Her eyes were constantly glowing purple as well. The pony known as Twilight Sparkle had changed into somepony else. Known as...

Horizon Storm. 

Beyond the Twilight, there is the Horizon and anger equal to that of a Storm.

"T-Twilight. Are you okay?" Applejack asked, terrified to go near her friend.

"I'm not okay. Not at all." She responded as her voice echoed as well. This mysterious magic seemed to possess anypony that had both sorrow and rage and shift them into a new persona. "I've never felt so much hate for somepony before. Then again, he's no pony." She stomped her hoof on the ground, making a small crack.

"I think it might be best if we get you home. We all need some time away from this situation." Applejack vouched. Despite this new Twilight, she wasn't exempt from everything else. She agreed to head home. She needed it. 



At Ponyville...

Twilight was in her library, sitting on her own. Spike had given her some time to think as he was outside. 

All these thoughts kept swarming her head. And each thought was numerous ways she thought of destroying Ghetsis. 

Suddenly, her new persona quickly faded away, returning her back to her normal state. However, if she is ever pushed to a certain point, Horizon Storm will emerge. In fact, it lies within her now. Uncontrollable magic she doesn't even know she has or even knows how to summon it even. She had more self control than Luna, which is why her alternate persona didn't last.

Twilight huddled up in her bed, deciding to take a nap. As the day went by, the clouds had covered the sun completely, negating any sunlight for Ponyville. 

Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy returned to their homes as well. 

That goes for everypony else. What happened to Celestia made them all stay indoors. The streets of Ponyville were completely silent. Not even a Pokemon in sight.

Luna, on the other hand, sat down on her sister's throne, assuming the position of ruler. 

"As the current temporary ruler of Equestria, I will make sure that Ghetsis receives his punishment! I shall show him no mercy!" Luna declared. 

This signified the beginning of a long conflict between Equestria and Ghetsis. And the pure evil man had already changed Saddle-Arabia's name for his own like. Calling it the Harmonia Kingdom. Based on his full name being Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius.

And all of this is due to the Rift accepting the request of bringing Ghetsis back and freeing him from jail.

The Great Disaster that Celestia foresaw was just around the corner. And the first result of it was her getting injured.

Passion went inside the room that Celestia was resting in as she jumped on the bed. She laid next to her damaged trainer, wishing and praying for her to get better.



Eight have gone by now.

Luna has continued Celestia's reign by continuing to make everypony stay where they are, not wanting them to end up bumping into Ghetsis. She had also done the duty of raising and lowering both the Sun and Moon. Celestia was still in the nursing room, with that hole not going away anytime soon. Ash, who has at his world for a few hours, returned to Ponyville to check up on his friends. Starting by heading off to the Pokemon House.

"Hey, Fluttershy."

"Pikachu!"

"Oh, hello Ash. Pikachu." She responded with a bit of dread in her voice. Ash and Pikachu could tell that something was wrong.

"What's wrong?"

"Pika?"

Pikachu hopped off his trainer's shoulder, heading towards the sad pony.

"Oh. You haven't heard the news about what happened earlier."

"What DID happen?"

"Princess Celestia was..." Fluttershy explained everything to them as it blew both Ash and Pikachu away.

"Man. That's hard. Poor Celestia." Ash sulked his head.

"Pika..."

"Pinkie Pie's been trying her best to cheer everypony up, but she only managed to make a few of us happy. Twilight's taking this the hardest out of all of us."

"I should've gone and stopped Ghetsis myself. But... I don't think that would've changed much."

"Pi-Pikachu."

"Don't feel bad, Ash. We're all shaken up by this. Now, all we have to do is wait for this whole Ghetsis situation to fade away. I have to go and feed the Pokemon now. Will you help me?"

"I'll pass today. I wanna do something that'll lift their spirits up."

"Really? What do you have in mind?"

What did he have in mind? Well, he got all of his Pokemon from Professor Oak's lab first. He even travelled to Kalos to find his Greninja. Most of his Pokemon were here with missing inclusion of Primeape and Butterfree, wherever those two might be. And Naganadel is still at Ultra Space.

And he bought in one other person to help. Dawn.

"Alright, guys. Everyone here's feeling a bit down. So we'll do our best to lift their spirits up."

"Did you take inspiration from me, Ash, when you were feeling down and I had to cheer you up after your loss against Paul?" Dawn said.

"Maybe. Now! We're gonna make them all happy!"

"You can count on us. Ash."

"Piplup!"

Outside, Pinkie Pie could seen light works of some sorts. It was Dawn, using one of her contest moves.

"Oooh." Pinkie came out, glancing at the sight. "Dawn, you're back!" Pinke went to hug Dawn.

"Good to see you too Pinkie." She replied.

Everypony came out to see these contest moves. This was their first time really seeing them in action. All of them other than the Mane 6 have never even heard of Pokemon Contests. Dawn's Piplup, Mamoswine and Pachirsu were the ones pulling of the moves, and Ash's Pokemon decided to pitch in by mixing their moves in.

Twilight looked outside, seeing everypony gather. Leaving her library she saw them all smiling again. They were enjoying themselves once more.

"Yo, Twilight!" Ash called.

Twilight walked to him, seeing everything going down.

"Ash. You did all of this?"

"Well, me and Dawn along with our Pokemon. We wanted to cheer you up. We know everyone here in Ponyville and even all over Equestria is upset about what happened to Celestia. So I came up with this in order to lift everyone's spirits up. Hope ya don't mind."

"Pikachu!"

Twilight had a small smile on her face. She was happy that some joy was brought back to everypony else.

"Hey. Wanna see something cool?" Ash said to the CMC.

"Yes!" They agreed in unison.

"Okay. Greninja."

"Grenin." The Ninja Pokemon nodded in response.

The two of them activated the Bond-Phenomenon, bringing out of Ash-Greninja.

"Woaaah.." Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were amazed by this sudden transformation.

The rest of the ponies were lying on Snorlax's belly, finding it oddly comforting. Rarity got a good look at Leavanny seeing how eventually her Sewaddle's will evolve into it. Leavanny made Rarity a dress in a matter of minutes for her by using leaves.

"It's gorgeous! The skill gap between the pre-evolution and final evolution is impressive.! No offense, darlings." Rarity said, turning to her Pokemon.

Happiness and joy returned to Ponyville after hours of gloom. While Ghetsis was still around and Celestia still hurt, at least there is always time for everyone to enjoy themselves and be happy.
