My Little Pokémon

Z-Moves

Canterlot. The Pokemon School, day.

"Z-Moves. A special type of move in which a Trainer and their Pokémon's wishes combine to unleash an attack comprising the full power of both. They hold awesome power." Brawly explained to the students in front of him as he was joined by Roxanne and Roxie. "That's pretty much the gist of them."

"More than that." Roxanne stepped forward. "There are three different kinds of Z-Moves. Z-Moves can be used by any Pokemon with one Z-Move for each Type. Even Status moves can be transferred into them. Some Pokemon have their own unique Z-Crystals and Z-moves that only they can perform."

"And those are the real heavy hitters." Roxanne nodded. "The basic ones are good, but the exclusive ones are one of a kind!"

"There are 18 different Z-Crystals that correspond to each of the 18 types, and several others that correspond to specific Pokémon. Z-Moves work by powering up one of the Pokémon's normal moves, so the Pokémon must also know an appropriate move. But that shouldn't be a problem for anyone." Roxanne shook her head.

"And of course, you gotta have a Z-Ring to really pull them off." Brawly continued explaining "A Pokémon can only use a Z-Move if its Trainer is wearing a Z-Ring or Z-Power Ring and has the same Z-Crystal the Pokémon is holding."

"Uh..." Rainbow Dash raised her hoof, wanting to ask a question.

"No, Rainbow Dash. Sadly, Mega Evolved Pokemon can't use Z-Moves." Brawly answered.

"Awww...!" Rainbow Dash groaned.

"But they're equally as powerful as Mega Evolution. Even if they are a one-time use type of attack." Roxanne shrugged.

"Which brings us to today. It's a perfect time for you all to learn and utilize Z-Moves."

"OH!" Pinkie Pie shot up. "We're gonna use them today?!"

"Really?!" Rainbow Dash flew over Pinkie Pie.

"Right now?!" Starlight exclaimed as everypony in the classroom started chattering about this. Some didn't even know what a Z-Move looked like but they were excited to see it either way.

"Yeah, yeah today." Brawly calmed them all down. "And what better place to head than Alola? The heart of where Z-Moves exist. But uh, we're gonna have to sort your posing out."

"Our posing?" A pony in the class asked.

"Mhm. Z-Moves require the usage of poses to be performed as well. We can do this easily because of how we humans are built. But I'm not sure you all can easily do it in one go." Roxanne observed. "Can you?"

"Totally." Rainbow Dash nodded. "I battled Soarin a few days ago and he pulled off a Z-Move, no problem."

"But he did say he trained a bit to really get it right since he ain't naturally built for it." Applejack responded. "Didn't look that tough to do though."

"Great. That means you can totally do it, no problem." "Roxie gave a thumbs up. "Gonna take some getting used to though."

"The rest of the teachers will meet up with us over at Alola. Ash has offered to help out with this as well." Roxanne said. "We'll practice those poses and see if you're ready to obtain Z-Crystals. If you can get past the trials that is. And if not, there's always next time."

"Yeah. And besides..." Brawly put on some sunglasses along with Roxie. "Since Half terms closing in soon, might as well take the time to also enjoy Alola too, huh? There are some pretty sweet waves there!"

"Mhm!" Roxie nodded.

"We're not there to relax. We're there to teach." Roxanne facepalmed, knowing that Brawly and Roxie were going to do something else entirely.

"We'll get a chance to use our own Z-Moves. That sounds..." Twilight thought of the outcome of using such powerful moves. She had already seen 5 of them before and they were highly destructive. One even forced King Sombra back. "Riveting! A bit nervous but exciting!"

"Isn't it?" Rainbow Dash flew over. "I can't use it on Altaria...but maybe I can get one for the rest of my Pokemon!"

"I want those exclusive Z-Moves!" Pinkie Pie got giddy. "Wait. Are those only for Alolan Pokemon?" Everyone kept talking about Z-Moves. Some were nervous to try them but most were ecstatic.

Z-Moves are always exciting to get into and can be great assets in battle if used correctly that is. Everyone in the class, including the younger ones were ready to leave Canterlot and Equestria and head on over to Alola. Especially the younger students by a mile.

Being students at the Pokemon School made everypony feel like they were young again but still gaining their mature nature. It was most likely from the fact that teachers here treat the students like they're the same age as them.

Although, some actually are the same age.

However, while the students were heading off to Alola, something else was brewing over at the Canterlot Gardens. Something related to a fairly important mission that happened just yesterday.

12 minutes later. Canterlot Gardens.

Celestia had gone outside to the gardens with Passion and Arcanine by her side. Luna had also come along as this seemed urgent. Which is was without a doubt.

Celestia had within her disposal was one of the two Team Plasma Poke Balls that Sweetie Drops AKA Bon Bon had retrieved after her mission with Pokemon Ranger Jack Walker or Jackie for short. When they infiltrated the Plasma Frigate, they brought back their own objects and information to their respective authorities.

Jackie went to the Ranger Union with new intel and 5 Travel Spheres and Sweetie Drops returned the two Poke Balls and also retrieving 5 Travel Spheres.

"So this Poke Ball holds a Legendary?" Luna spoke.

"Apparently. And the same goes for the second one. There's no telling how many Team Plasma have retrieved." Celestia replied. "Thankfully, we have some here, far away from Ghetsis."

"And we are to release them out in the open?"

"Not sure. I'm a bit nervous myself on what Pokemon could be in here." Celestia shuddered while looking at the Poke Ball. She knew of the unbridled power that Legendary Pokemon possessed. Any one of them can cause mass destruction in little time with little effort.

"Gardevoir?" Passion looked at her nervous trainer.

"Well...Let's see for ourselves." Celestia gulped as she used her magic to throw the Poke Ball into the air, prepared for whatever Legendary Pokemon could be within it.

Once the Poke Ball opened up, a figure came shooting out from the lights the Poke Ball produced. A large bipedal figure standing with a height of 10'06" and 3.2 metres in feet with draconic, avian, and mammalian traits.

A long, voluminous wispy mane streamed out of his figure as a vast white colour could be seen once the light started to fade away as Celestia, Luna, Passion and Arcanine gawked at this figure. Once the light faded away, more of the Pokemon could be seen as it had a jet engine-like tail at the end.

The Pokemon that fit this description was none other than the Pokemon of Truth, one of the members of the Tao Trio and the Vast White Pokemon.

Reshiram.

This entire time, there was a Reshiram within this Poke Ball for a long period of time. And it was most likely a Reshiram from another universe since Ghetsis has been gathering doubles of various Legendary Pokemon, not just limiting himself to just one.

The size of this Pokemon was so astronomical that it towered over every building in Canterlot. Even the castle as everyone in the distance could see it. At least, its head since the rest of its body was being covered by the castle. Even Twilight and the rest of the students, who were already away from Canterlot by this time and near the Pikachu Highlands and Deerling Forest, stopped to witness the sudden arrival of this gigantic Pokemon.

"That figure...No way!" Brawly gawked as he and the Gym Leaders immediately recognized the figure of the Pokemon in the far distance.

"Yes, way! It's it really here?!" Roxanne gasped.

"It looks like it!" Roxie cried out. "Oh, man that's so cool!"

"A vast white appearance..." Twilight said under her breath as she recognized this Pokemon from what she discovering when reading many Pokemon books. "Isn't that...?"

"W-W-W-W-What is that...?!" Luna felt paralyzed by the sight of this majestic yet intimidating Pokemon. She pulled out her Pokedex to see if there was any info on this Pokemon.

"Reshiram. The Vast White Pokemon. This Pokémon appears in legends. It sends flames into the air from its tail, burning up everything around it. When Reshiram’s tail flares, the heat energy moves the atmosphere and changes the world’s weather. This legendary Pokémon can scorch the world with fire. It helps those who want to build a world of truth. According to myth, if people ignore the truth and let themselves become consumed by greed, Reshiram will arrive to burn their kingdoms down."

"Reshiram..." Celestia's jaw dropped as she heard the name of this Legendary Pokemon while looking up at it. Reshiram and Celestia's eyes met for a moment, staring at each other. One with confusion and the other with fear. Passion and Arcanine stood beside Celestia, ready to defend their trainer if Reshiram decides to attack.

But that wouldn't be happening.

Because all of a sudden, Reshiram's eyes closed as it had suddenly fainted, falling over instead of standing or flying in the air. Celestia and the others backed away as the Vast White Pokemon fell to the ground, hitting it hard and causing a mild earthquake that shook Canterlot.

Windows had shattered as everyone bounced off the ground from Reshiram's collapse. Some furniture was caught up in this sudden magnitude as there was a slight panic.

The guards had seen this since they're always close to Celestia. They informed the citizens along with the Gym Leaders that everything was under control at the moment. There was no need to worry. Just a fainted Pokemon. They ordered everyone to get along with their day for the meanwhile.

"Oh my goodness!" Celestia gasped, more concerned about the state of Reshiram than anything else as she ran over to the Vast White Pokemon. "Are you alright?!"

"Gardevoir?!"

"What happened?" Luna wondered as everyone from afar witnessed Reshiram fall, feeling the mild tremor.

"It seems to have fainted," Celestia observed Reshiram's state. "Just when it came out of the Poke Ball and everything."

"Arcanine?"

"Oh!" Luna looked to the Poke Ball that Reshiram came out of. "The Poke Ball! Shouldn't we destroy it? It was captured by Team Plasma and everything. And if it's already in a fainted state after coming out..."

"The Poke Ball?" Celestia turned to face the Team Plasma Ball. Indeed, Celestia already knew from Sweetie Drops that Team Plasma have been gathering Pokemon from other universes, mainly Legendaries and Mythicals and containing them in their own Poke Balls for personal uses.

Knowing this, Celestia nodded, approving for Luna to destroy the Poke Ball which will free Reshiram of Team Plasma's ownership permanently.

"Right!" Luna responded as she used her magic to obliterate the Team Plasma ball. Reshiram was no longer a Pokemon belonging to Team Plasma. But the same couldn't be said for the other Pokemon. Celestia placed her hoof on the Vast White Pokemon's face while it was still unconscious.

"What should we do about Reshiram then? What if it eventually wakes up? It might be under Ghetsis' will and control!" Luna started to worry about what horrible outcome could come from this when Reshiram awakes.

"Maybe. But, if that's the case, then we can't leave it like this." Celestia shook her head. "Reshiram and every other Pokemon that have been captured must've been through horrible things for it have fainted the minute it came out of the Poke Ball."

"That is unnatural..." Luna nodded before realizing something. "Oh. Um...I believe destroying the Poke Ball may mean we can't return it. And considering its size..."

"It's fine. For now, I'll have to focus on Reshiram for the time being. Passion."

"Gardevoir." Passion knew what to do as she went up to the Vast White Pokemon. She was going to tap into its mind to see what she could find. By putting her hand on the Dragon-Fire-Type's face and using her Psychic mind, the Embrace Pokemon tapped into Reshiram's psyche.

However, the moment she did so, the first thing she saw was nothing but raging blue flames. And afterwards, Passion's mind had been attacked as she was pushed back.

"Voir!" The Psychic-Fairy was sent back, falling on her back.

"Passion!" Celestia running over to her partner. "Are you alright?!"

"G-Gardevoir?" Passion sat up, holding her head as she had no idea what had just happened. One moment she tapped into Reshiram's mind, seeing blue fire and then all of a sudden, she was forced out of it.

Celestia helped Passion up, turning to face Reshiram who was still unconscious. If Reshiram was somehow able to force Passion away while still being unconscious, then its own Psychic prowess was highly impressive.

And speaking of which, a faint Psychic wave came out of Reshiram's fainted body as it travelled through Celestia and Passion, speaking to them. The Trainer and Pokemon froze up for a bit, hearing and feeling this Psychic call. However, they couldn't really fully understand it but they could feel it. Reshiram spoke to them.

"Sister!" Luna called out to Celestia, seeing that she suddenly froze in place. "Sister!"

"Oh!" Celestia and Passion both snapped out of it from Luna's call.

"What happened? You two just froze without warning."

"Not sure..." Celestia's eyes blinked repeatedly. "But I believe it came from Reshiram over there. A Psychic call."

"From Reshiram? While it's still fainted?"

"I believe Reshiram may stay fainted for a while. Whatever Ghetsis and Team Plasma have been doing to it, it's clearly draining and taxing on them."

"Hah?"

"We should let Reshiram rest for a bit. I'll stay here and watch over it for the time being."

"By yourself? But what if it wakes up and-"

"I'll be fine. I have Passion and Arcanine on my side."

"Gardevoir."

"Arcanine."

"A-Alright." Luna nodded. "I'll leave it up to you. And the second Poke Ball that holds a Legendary?"

"Leave that one, for now, Luna."

"Understood." Luna walked off, looking back at her sister and the unconscious Vast White Pokemon, worried about what could happen if Reshiram awoke. And especially what Pokemon could be in the second Poke Ball.

Alola. Melemele Island. Melemele Meadow. Day.

Melemele Meadow. A paradise where the Oricorio dance and a place where yellow flowers bloom in abundance. Many can gather the nectar Oricorio loves to feed on here.

"Alola!" Ash greeted his friends along with the other two others of Alola who had joined him. The Trial Captain Acerola and the Island Kahuna Hala. The rest of the teachers from the Pokemon School had also shown up here with Ash. "Great you guys made it on time!"

"Pikachu!"

"Hm! Hm!" Hala nodded. "Alola! I am the Island Kahuna, Hala."

"Alola! My name's Acerola. Trial Captain of Ula'ula Island." She flashed her hands at them all.

"You ready to learn some Z-Moves?" Ash crossed his hands as he was wearing his Z-Ring today but with a different crystal.

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash and some other eager ponies nodded.

"You're going to love this." Brawly pointed his thumb at Hala. "Guys like Hala and Acerola are the only ways you can really get Z-Crystals. By completing their Island Trials."

"These things don't come easy." Acerola wagged her finger.

"Not at all." Hala shook his head. "Z-Moves or for better term Z-Power require worthy Trainers. They don't come free. Right, Ash."

"Oh, yeah," Ash replied. "Took a bunch for me and my Pokemon to get our crystals. But boy was it worth it."

"That reminds me...Brawly." Hala turned to Brawly.

"Hm? Yeah?"

"Have you actually come back to give this a second try? You failed the first time when trying to obtain the Fightinium Z."

"Again? Ahaha..." Brawly laughed nervously. "Not really. You were kinda too strong for me the first time so no...But it'd be great if I could get that crystal."

"You've done this before?" Rarity asked.

"Yeah..." Brawly sighed, remembering how his first time went. "Didn't go so well. But I was younger back then so ya know..."

"Age isn't a matter, Brawly," Hala responded. "Anyone of any kind and age can succeed. I mean, a few months ago, a pony by the name of Soarin came along and succeed in finding the Flyinium Z despite going through rigorous obstacles."

"Obstacles? You don't have to battle to find the crystals?" Twilight questioned.

"Not all of them." Acerola shook her head. "A bunch of crystals are just lying around Alola. Only us Trial Captains and the Kahunas give 'em out, ya know."

"But finding them out in Alola is just as difficult." Ash pointed out.

"Pikachu."

"But enough talk!" Ash adjusted his gloves. "Let's get this started. With some posing exercise!"

"Yeah- wait...posing exercise?" Rainbow Dash got excited before calming down after hearing what Ash said.

"You won't be able to pull them off without knowing how to really perform the poses," Olympia spoke.

"They're the key to everything when it comes to Z-Moves." Valerie chimed in. "Don't worry, we'll help you through it."

"Just follow us." Ash pointed at himself. "Using Z-Moves requires a ton of energy. You gotta go FWAH! And then give it a SHOOM! And then follow it up with a CRASH! Right, Pikachu?"

"Pi-Pikachu...?" Pikachu gave his best friend a face of confusion and worry.

"What Ash said." Acerola nodded. "You'll be doing perfect poses in no time."

"Posing with these?" Applejack looked at her hooves flailing them about along with Pinkie Pie. "All Z-Moves have different poses, right?"

"All of them. Besides, you've all got Pokemon for every type." Brawly moved his hand across the many Pokemon standing beside their Trainers. "I mean we've got an Espeon, Sceptile, Audino, Mew, Castform, L-"

Just then, the moment Brawly said that his eyes and mind started to process with had just occurred 1 second ago. His eyes shifted back to the sight of Pinkie Pie along with the rest of the teachers here.

Right there, poking out of Pinkie Pie's mane was the Mythical Pokemon Mew, who wasn't disguised as another Pokemon but instead just himself. Out in the open. A Pokemon of his rarity.

"MEW?!" Brawly and the teachers gasped.

"Mew?" The New Species Pokemon looked at them.

"Whoops." Pinkie Pie scrunched her face.

"The ancestor of..." Roxanne's arms started twitching as she slowly pointed at Mew. "...M-Mew...!"

"Seriously?!" Roxie dashed over. "You got a Mew?!"

"Yeah! Isn't he just the cutest?" Pinkie Pie held Mew up to Roxie's face as it was indeed the real deal.

"Mew-Mew!"

"Pinkie! I thought you had Mew transform today!" Twilight turned to her friend.

"Sorry! Kinda forgot!" Pinkie let out a wide grin.

"Hoooh!" Roxanne, out of nowhere, started taking pictures of the New Species Pokemon as she was a sucker for anything ancient and history related. "It's really here!"

"After all these years Mew's still super popular, huh?" Ash said.

"Pika..."

Approximately 4 minutes later.

Posing exercise could begin. Due to everypony having a Pokemon of different types, each of them were instructed to mimic the poses of certain Z-Moves. Like for example, Twilight having an Espeon meant she needed to mimic the movements of the Psychinium Z.

Stretching was the first thing they did for a start. Their bones would need to be adjusted just for Z-Move usage as they began following the movements of their teachers and Ash. For those who had Electric-Type Pokemon, they followed Ash and Pikachu's movements. Trainers like Brawly and Hala focused on the pose for Fighting-Type Pokemon and so on.

This exercise also required every single pony to stand in a bipedal position. Since Z-Moves were originally built for humans, this type of stance was required. It would prove to be a bit taxing since ponies aren't used to standing upright all the time. But they can still certainly do it when the time calls for it.

"You gotta make it look like you're doing a lightning bolt," Ash said as his arms were in the shape of a lightning bolt from how he was posing. "And then pour all of that energy into your partner."

"Pika-Pika!"

"Urrgh...!" Rainbow Dash began trying to bend her hooves to match the figure of a lightning bolt, but it was putting a bit of strain on her body. Her muscles weren't used to something like this. She could definitely put her hands in different directions but bending the very edge of her hooves was a problem. "D-Do I have to bend it?!"

"Ah, bending it isn't that big of a deal. As long as you've got a good gist of it." Ash shook his head as Rainbow Dash kept trying to keep her balance while Luxray stood there. Rainbow Dash, despite standing in a bipedal position, had to also mimic the leg poses as well. That was even harder than the arm poses as her back hooves were struggling to move to the side like Ash's.

Apple Bloom, her Emolga and other Electric-Type owners were also having issues with this pose as they couldn't quite get their back hooves to fully bend to the side.

"What about Luxray?" Rainbow Dash asked. "He's kinda not posing right now."

"Lux?"

"Some Pokemon don't pose with Z-Moves," Roxanne spoke to Rainbow Dash while posing. "Typically, bipedal or semi-bipedal Pokémon with arm-like forelimbs tend to mimic the poses of their Trainer during the activation. On the other hand, quadrupeds and the like, whose forelimbs show no manual dexterity, tend to stay still and wait until the activation is completed before acting."

"G-Good to know...!" Rainbow Dash replied as she scrunched her face before falling on the ground along with the rest of the Electric-Type trainers. "Ugh! Maybe Electric's not for me...Can I try another one?"

Twilight was having a bit of an easier time with hers. By following Olympia's movements, Twilight, Pinkie, Starlight and other Trainers that owned Psychic-Type Pokemon, all stood in a bipedal position while having one hoof on their head and the other outstretched facing forward. They also placed their back hooves together instead of letting them stay apart. It was as if they were using their minds.

"Excellent posing you all." Olympia praised the Psychic-Type trainers. "You've already gotten a good grasp on the Psychic pose."

"Great!" Sweetie Belle grinned while practising with her Espurr.

"This is easy stuff!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"Easy for you to say..." Rainbow Dash sighed. "Can I try the Fighting one?"

"Bit hard on the muscles though." Applejack spoke as she stood upright with both her hooves raised as if to mimic a tree. She was practising with her Sceptile. "Hope this doesn't mess up work back home..."

"I don't know about you but this feels like great exercise!" Scootaloo laughed as she was performing the Fire pose with her Ponyta, who was just standing still. Scootaloo had her left hoof bending, touching her right hoof which was outstretched forward.

"Bunny!" Scorbunny nudged Fluttershy's who was also performing the Grass pose with Chikorita.

"Hm? What is it Scorbunny?" Fluttershy asked while still posing.

"Scor! Scorbunny!" The Rabbit Pokemon tapped himself, insisting that he should try and pose as well.

"Oh, you want to join in?"

"Go ahead," Hala said. "There's no limit to how many Z-Poses one can work on."

"Okay. We'll switch to Fire next." Fluttershy nodded.

"Scor!" Scorbunny felt joy when hearing that.

"How are you holding up Diamond Tiara?" Sweetie Belle asked Diamond Tiara who was currently performing the Dark pose with her Purrloin. Hollow decided to be the one to teach the students about the Dark Pose alongside his Zoroark.

"Uh...!" Diamond Tiara was currently leaning forward as both her hooves up as if she was roaring at someone like a giant bear standing up. "Pretty good! I think I have this bending thing down already!"

"Sure do. Really put some oomph into it!" Hollow encouraged her and the others. "But not too much. You can easily break something."

"Where did these Z-Moves actually come from I wonder?" Rarity pondered as she was performing the Water pose with her Milotic. Rarity her hooves swaying to the side as if it was water flowing along.

"The origins of Z-Power are largely shrouded in mystery," Olympia replied. "However, the Ultra Wormholes might be the answer to that."

"Not just the wormholes," Hala spoke. "The Guardian Deities of Alola can seemingly grant power to all Z-Crystals at will."

"Guardian Deities?" All of the students spoke at the same time.

"Ah, suppose you haven't heard of them yet. Yes, here in Alola, there are 4 Legendary Pokemon in the Alola Region who protect the islands where they live." Hala continued to explain. "Each of the four main islands in Alola has a Guardian Deity. Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini."

"We call them the Tapu for short." Acerola chimed in with her own words.

"They can grant Z-Power by performing their ritual singing. It's suspected that they are the cause of Z-Moves existing." Hala twirled his moustache.

"They're really awesome, ya know." Ash nodded. "Thanks to Tapu Koko, I got to learn about Z-Moves when I first came to Alola. Man, those are some good times."

"Pika."

"Which islands are they on?" Pinkie Pie asked Hala.

"Well, Tapu Koko resides here in Melemele Island. Tapu Lele on Akala, Tapu Bulu on Ula'Ula-"

"That's my place." Acerola interrupted Hala with a quick word.

"And Tapu Fini on Poni Island. Us Island Kahunas are also chosen by our island's Guardian Deity." Hala finished talking.

"Wow. They sound like very active Legendary Pokemon. Usually, Legendary Pokemon are rare to see, right?" said Twilight.

"Sure are. They do get around." Ash nodded.

"Pika-Pika."

"Alright." Hala then broke out of his pose. "Before we continue posing exercise for everyone else...Ash."

"Yeah?"

"Mind showing them a good demonstration of a Z-Move?"

"Oh, sure!" Ash raised his arm. "Right on it. Let's do this, Pikachu."

"Pikachu!"

Ash and Pikachu were now about to give everyone a demonstration on how to perform Z-Moves properly. This would mainly be shown to the Trainers who were going for the Electric pose. The same could be said for the other teachers as they would later show the students the other Z-Moves. But first, the Electric move would be showcased before anything else.

Ash and Pikachu stood ahead while everyone backed away since Z-Moves are highly destructive due to their sheer size and power. The Z-Crystal had already been charged up ahead of time.

"Alright!" Ash roared as he crossed both his arms together, raising them to his face as the Electrium Z started glowing with sparkles flying out. A symbol of a lightning bolt and sparked out as well as Ash separated his arms, lowering them while Pikachu followed his movements without even facing his trainer. He then grinned as he moved his legs, bending them and kicking up some dirt Ash then raised his arms once more as he struck the pose that mimicked a lightning bolt as Pikachu did the same. "Go, Pikachu!"

"Pika!" Pikachu cried out as he spread his arms out, summoning a large raging ball of yellow electricity that lit the entire field with a dazzling yellow colour.

"Full Power! Now! GIGAVOLT HAVOC!" Ash then delivered a forward Punch as Pikachu did the same. The Electric Mouse Pokemon hit the ball of electricity with everything he had, launching it forward at full strength.

The ball of electricity then raced forward, tearing through the ground itself as it ascended high into the air. Everyone looked up to see the attack fly up as it broke the sound barrier, causing a sonic boom.

It then flew through some clouds, leaving massive holes into them as the attack eventually faded away in the distance before blowing up. A gigantic burst of lightning exploded in the sky itself, startling everyone who heard and witnessed it. After that, the Z-Crystal lost its Z-Power.

"Oooh!" Those were the words that left their mouths.

"There." Ash turned around. "Pretty easy like that. But it takes a ton of power to do it. Like a really large load of it!"

"Pika-Pikachu!"

"There you have it." Hala went up to Ash. "That is what you can all expect from Z-Moves. Perfect synchronization with your Pokemon and high energy to boot."

"And a ton of screaming too." Roxie nodded along with Acerola.

"Which brings us to the next part of this lesson. Before we continue posing, you'll all be setting out to find the Z-Crystals." Olympia spoke.

"Right now?!" Silver Spoon shot up.

"Right now," Olympia replied. "We chose the perfect time to have this lesson since there's been a massive resurgence in Z-Crystals recently. An abundance of them for sure."

"There's a whole bunch of Z-Crystals scattered across Alola right now. Mainly the cities more than anything. All 18 Types but there's way more than 18 out there." Brawly said.

"Except for a few," Hala smirked. "I possess the Fightinium Z while Acerola possesses the Ghostium Z. If you wish to obtain those crystals, you can challenge us for it. Or, you can just set out and try and find them. But that won't be easier either no."

"No way!" Acerola shook her head. "Getting those Z-Crystals isn't a walk in the park. You gotta deal with some Totem Pokemon too."

"Totem Pokemon?" The students all said.

"There's still a lot you all need to know about Alola." Brawly laughed.

"A lot is an understatement..." Roxanne sighed.

"But, some of you can decide to continue posing or try and obtain those crystals and then come back to try and finalize the poses. What will it be?" Hala asked the students for their preference.

Surprisingly, half of them wanted to stay here and continue mastering the poses while half wanted to obtain those Z-Crystals and then pose with them afterwards while utilizing their power. Twilight and her friends were among those who wished to find the crystals. However, Rainbow Dash and others wanted to stay behind for a bit. Just to try and master the posing.

"So it's decided." Hala saw the decisions made by everyone. "Don't worry. You all greatly outnumber the Z-Crystals anyway. Some of you may not be able to obtain a crystal but you can always try next time. If anyone here wants to change options on which part they want to do, you can swap at any time."

"You're not coming along Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy said.

"I'll catch up later. Let me do the Fighting one first and I'll be there."

"Oh! One thing I should mention!" Hala quickly exclaimed before half the students went on their way. "There is one Z-Crystal you cannot approach no matter what."

"Huh?" Ash was also curious about this. He never heard about a Z-Crystal that no one was meant to go for.

"Over at Poni Wilds, there exists a Z-Crystal with some much overflowing power that anyone who goes near them will be met with an intense aura that can greatly harm them. Many have tried to obtain this crystal, but they've never seen it before. Only the aura it emits. It's a forbidden Z-Crystal."

"Forbidden Z-Crystal?" Ash gasped.

"Pika?"

"We don't really know what it is." Acerola shrugged. "And ever since then, it's kinda just been laying at Poni Wilds. But it holds some Legendary power! Like the Z-Crystal for the Tapus."

"Uh...A-Alright. We won't approach it." Twilight shook her head. "But um...won't it take a while to get to each city? I mean, the lesson might end at that time."

"Ah. That's where Ride Pokemon come in." Roxanne said. "Or Poke Ride for short. Come we'll show you. It's a much quicker way to get from place to place in Alola."

While Roxanne went to show the students the Ride Pokemon and how to use them, the other students continued their posing lesson while some chose to challenge Hala and Acerola for the Z-Crystals they were keeping.

And the one thing to keep in mind. Not to approach the Z-Crystal located at Poni Wilds. But then again, after hearing that, no one's heading for Poni Wilds anyway.

Canterlot Gardens. Afternoon.

But, while the lessons continue, back at Canterlot, Reshiram was still unconscious, lying on the ground. It has been like this for almost an hour. All the Pokemon that come by to visit Canterlot Gardens had come across the Vast White Pokemon's unconscious body.

Curious and worried, the Pokemon went up to the Dragon of Truth to see if it was alright. Being the caring creatures that they are, it was no surprise that the Pokemon would do this. Celestia was still here, sitting by and watching over Reshiram. While at the same time, coming up with plans for the upcoming invasion. She's a great multitasker at heart.

She had tried using some healing spells at her disposal to see if she could mend Reshiram. Celestia wasn't sure if the spells were working since Reshiram hadn't responded yet. But she was giving it her all.

"Oh. Don't wake it up." Celestia spoke to the Pokemon. "Let Reshiram rest for a bit. But...if any of you know any healing moves, that would help greatly."

Some of them did in fact know some healing moves. The Pokemon that could heal went up to the fainted Dragon-Fire-Type, ready to see if they could restore the Vast White Pokemon.

Working alongside Celestia, the Pokemon that could heal each used their healing moves along with Celestia's healing spell on Reshiram. A golden magical glow along with blue, green and pink surrounded the body of the Vast White Pokemon. A healing spell, Heal Pulse, Life Dew and Grassy Terrain were all being used right now.

The mixture of healing effects let out a radiant glow that could be seen from the windows of the castle. Premium Polish and Luna could definitely see it. And then, due to the many healing effects being graced upon the Vast White Pokemon, that's when it happened.

Reshiram's eye opened.

As the journey continues.
