//------------------------------// // The Approaching Chaotic Storm // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Canterlot. Late Afternoon. "Yes...YES!" Cosmos shouted in celebration. The fourth Andalusian Star had been found. And with that fourth star found, she was so close to her revival. Granted, the first Andalusian Star she had was made out of Rift Energy. A substitute. Realistically, the one she recently found was actually the third one. But the substitute had enough power to get her this far. Luna stood there stunned as she felt the increase in magical pressure. The dimension that Cosmos had made was still there as all of Luna's Pokemon were still asleep thanks to Cosmos using Darkrai's body. "What is this?!" She exclaimed while still being outnumbered by all the opposing Pokemon. "A portion of magic returning, that's what!" Cosmos spoke through Cynthia's body. "Even with these annoyances in my way, my revival's still imminent. So, what will you do now, Luna? What was that about you freeing the others from mind control?" "Wouldn't hurt to try!" Luna stayed fearless even with Cosmos' magic gradually returning to its prime. She tapped into the magic of Lunar Ire, shooting a beam at Cosmos. Cosmos shrugged it off, casually moving to the side to evade it. However, Luna anticipated that. With a smirk on her face, she redirected the beam, causing it to turn. But this was where Cosmos' utility of having so many controlled bodies came into fruition. She had multiple eyes at this point as a Torkoal had seen the redirection due to being close to Cynthia. Seeing it through the eyes of Torkoal prompted Cynthia to move out of the way once more. "Nice try." Cosmos shrugged before swiping her hand. She had then used her magic to hold Luna in place, restraining her for a bit. Out of this dimension that had been created within this section of Canterlot Castle, a magical box had been summoned right where Luna hovered. Before she knew it, this box had already enclosed her. Her Pokemon were also captured within these boxes while they were still asleep. This box was both hollow and heavy as Luna bumped her head on the top. It was specifically made for her size along with the other boxes. "This is nothing!" Luna scoffed at these boxes before unleashing a magical pulse from her horn. She attempted to break out of the box, only to find that the box remained intact. "What?!" "With most of my magic back, my options just went ten-fold! Do you know what material this is, Luna?" Cosmos spoke to Luna as her voice managed to travel through the box. "Thanks to those Rift Humans, I managed to learn about a metal known as Dynasite. Hardest metal in this world apparently. And I can see it doesn't disappoint." "Dynasite?!" Nothing about this revelation was good news to Luna's ears. The hardest metal from Pegalysium had been made known to Cosmos. "And if smashed together, they won't break. At least...I'll make sure they won't! Gahaha!" Cosmos then manipulated each of the boxes that held Luna's Pokemon. Some were big. Some were small. But they were equally heavy. Cosmos immediately sent them crashing into each other, starting with Luna's box. "Gh!" Luna grunted as the box of Aurorus and Excadrill had crashed into her box while also hitting Musharna, Xatu and Florges' boxes. The impact was devastating considering how heavy and hard Dynasite was. "Musha!" Musharna cried out as she bumped her body onto the box. Florges and the others did as well. Considering Luna had caught so many Pokemon over these past 3 years, there were a plethora of boxes for Cosmos to use as she played around with them. Luna felt like she was inside a whirlpool or a twister as the boxes kept smashing into each other, harming the pony and Pokemon inside. Cosmos laughed, enjoying this malicious action. She thrived off of this and with her magic being close to its prime thanks to the recent Andalusian Star that had been found, her actions were only going to get worse. And with a mind as twisted as hers, the possibilities were endless and horrific. "F-Frillish!" Despite all of this smashing, there was one Pokemon who could avoid this. Her Frillish. Being a Ghost had its advantages, especially the power to become intangible. Frillish had phased through the box he had been trapped in, emerging right afterwards. "Thought I forgot about you?!" Cosmos already anticipated Frillish freeing himself. The moment he emerged out of the box, ready to attack Cosmos, the box that Gliscor was inside had been launched at him. "Fr-" Frillish had been hit in the back of his head by Gliscor's box. It was a devastating hit as he fell over from it. Frillish had been knocked out in one go. "What was that?! Frillish?!" Luna heard Frillish's cry, desperately needing to know what was going on outside. "Cosmos!" "I'll pass the control to this one." Cosmos then switched this Dynasite control onto the body of a Darmanitan, still keeping Cynthia as her perfect vessel. "I have to catch up with your big sister. I'll be right back!" She whistled before teleporting away as Cynthia. She used the hands of Darmanitan to continue smashing the boxes together. Luna was powerless against Dynasite, unsure of what to do with such a durable material. There was only one way to pierce it, but unfortunately, she did not possess the power to do so. Aura. Meanwhile, outside, despite the Pokemon from Frenzy Forest attacking Canterlot, the citizens weren't pushovers at all. In the original timeline, perhaps so, but thanks to these past 3 years and the bond they've formed with their Pokemon, even being attacked was something that everypony was prepared for. Once the Pokemon of Frenzy Forest started attacking, the residents of Canterlot retaliated in a heartbeat. "Milotic. Dragon Pulse." Fleur-de-lis was a great example. She and her Milotic were being attacked by a Lilligant and Drifblim, only for Milotic to blast them away with a dragon-shaped shockwave. Those Pokemon had been taken care of. Fleur then turned to see that the same could be said for the others. Moondancer could be seen using her Umbreon while Minuette was using her Simipour. However, despite them retaliating, Chaos Magic combined with the power of Pokemon was a dangerous combo. It forced the trainers and their Pokemon to put in far more effort if they wished to overcome this bizarre raid. Fleur then raised her head, looking to the skies and how they had been overtaken by Cosmos' cosmic storm. In fact, the storm was only growing and expanding even further. It started showing up in more than just one part of Equestria. With the next Andalusian Star found, Cosmos' influence had grown, covering the beautiful azure skies of the world with her malicious cosmic veil. Cosmic thunder rumbled within the clouds, bringing on a foreboding sense of dread that could potentially worsen as Cosmos continues. Back at the castle, Celestia had found Premium Polish and Arcanine. They were rushing out of the castle to avoid the carnage being brought upon it. Philomena had already flown out of the window to get ahead. "Oh! It's great that you're alright!" Celestia ran up to them. "Princess Celestia! What's happening!?" "I'll tell you everything later. Right now, you need to be far away from Canterlot at once! We need to find a safe place for you, my little pony." Celestia grabbed the little android filly. "If there is a safe place..." "There isn't!" Replying to Celestia was the cause of all this trouble. Cosmos. She appeared as Cynthia once more, having her vampire wings on her back. Celestia gasped, holding Premium close to her before looking up to see the Spirit of Malice. Arcanine barked at her right after she appeared. "Miss Cynthia?!" Premium gasped. "No. It's not." Celestia quickly corrected her. "It's someone despicable using the body of my friend and many others." "Good news! I'm feeling much better now." Cosmos giggled, clapping her hands. "Another star has been found. I'm close to returning. But...I still need that throne. And getting you out of the way is the only way that can happen." "A shame that won't happen. Arcanine. Get Premium somewhere safe. Return once this is all over and protect her with your life." "Arcanine!" "Oooh. A shame that won't happen." Cosmos chuckled. "You see...once I found that other Andalusian Star, I decided to lock off Canterlot." "What?!" Celestia exclaimed. "You didn't notice. No one did except for yours truly. No one is escaping! I'm going to have so much fun playing with you all for all of eternity! You've got that?!" Cosmos roared, making the skies thunder with cosmic lightning shooting out. The lightning hit the castle, setting it ablaze. As if it wasn't on fire already. "So. What now?" "Princess Celestia..." Premium looked to the Ruler of Equestria, hiding behind Arcanine right afterwards. "It's fine." Celestia remained calm. "I wasn't planning on leaving or abandoning my subjects. If I beat you here, Cosmos, it will be the end of all of this." "I doubt that." Cosmos descended, having Cynthia's Pokemon by her side. "I think I'm getting the hang of this Pokemon thing as well. I suppose getting attacked by them and knowing all of these moves helps greatly." "Passion!" Celestia then revealed the Mega Stone that was hidden within her mane, levitating there. She brought it over, removing the crystal on her crown as she had changed the diamond mould of the crown into a circle for the stone. "Mega Evolve!" "Garde...Voir!" Passion yelled as the light from the Mega Stone had been unleashed. Premium closed her eyes as the light also stunned Cosmos for a bit. The room had been lit up with a golden aura with Celestia and Passion merging with their bodies connecting. Out of this flare of light, Celestial-Gardevoir had arrived. Cosmos was bewildered by what she had seen and what she was now seeing. "W-What the? Who are you?!" "Since you've taken control of so many, we decided to become one to even things out a bit," Celestial-Gardevoir smirked. "I am the fusion between Mega Gardevoir and Princess Celestia. Call me Celestial-Gardevoir." "Fusion. Bah! Like that's supposed to scare me. Get her!" Cosmos unleashed a crackling beam of magic while Garchomp and the others did the same. Garchomp and Gastrodon had used Stone Edge while Glaceon used Ice Beam and Roserade used Petal Blizzard. Celestial-Gardevoir had put her hands together, using Psychic in one hand and Mystical Fire in the other. She unleashed a ray of rainbows and a stream of magical flames at the same time, overpowering Roserade and Glaceon's attacks while also manipulating the stones from Stone Edge. She had then sent the attacks back, launching them at the opposing Pokemon. "Kommo-o!" Kommo-o intervened, using Outrage to smash the stones into bits once they were launched back. "I feel confident in defeating you, Cosmos!" Celestial-Gardevoir declared. "After all, you're only using the body of Cynthia! You're less than second-rate! Possible third-rate!" "What did you say?!" Cosmos growled. "The real Cynthia has immaculate skills and a bond with her Pokemon. You couldn't hope to draw out their real power! Which means that I can take them on without worrying too much!" "I don't need skills to win! I just need my magic!" Cosmis raised her arm as she suddenly turned the walls into massive fangs. They had come alive, roaring in Celestial-Gardevoir's direction. Premium Polish screamed, holding into Arcanine's leg as the mouth walls started extending, ready to gnaw on their prey. "Arcanine, Flamethrower!" Celestial-Gardevoir ordered before using Plasma Bolt to blast away at the walls. The mouth walls had been blown back by a wave of fire and a beam made out of pure plasma thanks to the combination of Thunderbolt and Mystical Fire. Celestial-Gardevoir then ascended with Cosmos doing the same. They would take this to the skies as Garchomp and the others targeted Arcanine. "Now's a good time as any!" Premium Polish saw that Arcanine was greatly outnumbered. Even if these Pokemon couldn't draw out their true strength, they could be a problem for the Legendary Pokemon. To assist the Fire-Type, Premium sent out her Pokemon as well. Swanna, Flareon, Masqueiran, Inkay, Smeargle and Steenee had arrived to give Arcanine backup. In the air, Celestial-Gardevoir and Cosmos had engaged with Cosmos using Dynasite once more, being a fan of its sturdiness. She threw a cube of Dynasite at the Alicorn-Pokemon-Fusion, only for Celestial-Gardevoir to choose to evade them, knowing that she couldn't possibly break them. Celestial-Gardevoir ducked and flew over these incoming Dynasite cubes that broke through the walls and ceiling. She had some close calls with some cubes almost hitting her face. Celestial-Gardevoir moved her head back with a stunned and shocked grimace on her face representing how close some of these hits were. She quickly retaliated, using Thunderbolt as she shot it directly at Cosmos. Even though she knew that she was attacking Cynthia's body, her options were limited at this point. The Thunderbolt had been blocked by the cubes sadly as more of them were flying at her. This forced Celestial-Gardevoir to fly away from these incoming Dynasite cubes as Cosmos made sure they kept pace with her. This also forced Celestial-Gardevoir out of the castle, causing her to appear outside. The cubes followed her there as she flew past many buildings in Canterlot that were being torn apart by these attacking Pokemon who shared Cosmos' malice. They were all Cosmos after all. Celestial-Gardevoir knew she couldn't evade them forever. She started thinking of something. An idea sprung in her head. She decided to let them hit someone else. Cosmos in this instance as she quickly redirected herself, flying towards the Spirit of Malice. Cosmos' eyes widened, realizing that Celestial-Gardevoir was coming her way. And at great speeds too. The speed of a Gardevoir combined with the speed of a fully grown alicorn led to great acceleration and swiftness. Celestial-Gardevoir feared hurting Cynthia's body. But she knew one thing was for certain. Cosmos wouldn't let herself get hit. And she was right on the mark as Cosmos immediately made the cubes disappear out of fear once Celestial-Gardevoir got close enough. The Fusion had Cosmos right where she wanted her as she had then used Psychic, unleashing an invisible blast of Psychic energy from her hand. Cosmos had been led into Celestia's trap, feeling this invisible Psychic wave hit her. She cringed before being blown back. The Spirit of Malice showed visible agitation before retaliating via her the chaotic storm. She used the cosmic storm she had summoned, unleashing lightning bolts from the sky. Celestial-Gardevoir looked unphased as she merely swayed her body to the left and right, easily avoiding the lightning bolts with little effort. Cosmos was starting to despise the look on Celestial-Gardevoir's face as she had then created magma in her hand, throwing it at the Alicorn-Pokemon-Fusion. To retaliate, Celestial-Gardevoir ended up using her magic aura. A golden and pink aura meant to represent the two halves that had become one had flared with majesty and ferocity. The majesty of this form and the anger that Celestia and Passion showed towards Cosmos for doing this to their home and their friends. This beautiful, raging magical aura managed to block off the magma, causing the streams to be consumed by it upon contact. After getting rid of the magma, Celestial-Gardevoir zoomed through the air with Cosmos following her. Cosmos made an entirely new dimension from her bare hands, causing it to appear in front of Celestial-Gardevoir. This dimension had explosions going off constantly without any end. However, Cosmos did not expect what came next. Celestial-Gardevoir had then held the ethereal plane of the dimension in her bare hands, gripping it before it could cause any harm. She used Magic coating to protect herself from the explosions as the dimension was being held like a ball. It didn't exactly grow quick enough to be utilized properly. "H-How in the?!" "It's not my first rodeo with dimensions!" Celestial-Gardevoir replied before throwing it back at Cosmos. Cosmos was still blown back by the fact that Celestial-Gardevoir could do all of this. A quick fusion between Celestia and Passion had caused such a drastic change. Realizing she was about to be hit by her own dimension, Cosmos made a barrier around herself with the dimension making direct contact with it. After it blew up, Celestial-Gardevoir approached her, flying into the massive cosmic smoke that had been made. In her hand, she had created Dazzling Gleam, knowing how vulnerable Cosmos was to Fairy Magic now. She thrust her arms forward, unleashing a ray of rainbows that passed through the smoke. However, Cosmos quickly got back into the swing of things, summoning a Dynasite cube to block the rainbow rays. Seeing that the cube was in the way, Celestial-Gardevoir decided to simply just teleport in front of Cosmos while also being behind the cube. Cosmos snarled with her claws being swung at Celestial-Gardevoir. The Mega Evolved Fusion had then unleashed a bright flash of light from Dazzling Gleam, stunning and blinding Cosmos before she could swing at her. "G-Gaaaha!" Cosmos cried out from being stunned. "Right where I want you!" Celestial-Gardevoir had then let Cosmos have it, unleashing Dazzling Gleam once more by pummelling Cosmos with multiple rays. Cosmos was being showered by these constant rays of Fairy Magic. It was all volatile to her as the fusion had then kicked her down. "C-Celestia!" Cosmos growled whilst being rocketed to the ground. "It's Celestial-Gardevoir!" Celestial-Gardevoir replied immediately before then using a full force Dazzling Gleam for good measure. This one came in the form of a massive pink and gold wave. This was larger than Cosmos' entire body, at least the body of Cynthia. Cosmos closed her eyes from this overwhelming light as the Dazzling Gleam was a direct hit, engulfing her in its radiant light before hitting the ground with Cosmos in it. Dazzling Gleam strafed the ground in the process, hitting some of the opposing Pokemon along the way. The Ruler of Equestria ended up helping her subjects by defeating some of the Pokemon for them. The Fairy Magic involved affected all of them including the Dark-Types, Dragon-Types and Fighting-Types especially. They all cheered after Celestial-Gardevoir helped them out. A large smoke cloud had occurred as Celestial-Gardevoir looked down at the ground where the attack ended, waiting to see what had happened with Cosmos. Speaking of Cosmos, she was on the ground with the smoke still going on. While laying there, visible rage and frustration were boiling up with her. She banged her fist on the ground, frustrated that Celestial-Gardevoir could give her so much trouble. "Even with most of my magic back...I'm still losing like this?!" She roared. "Rift Humans...If you have anything to share...share it now!" She called out for Lucien and Sienna. This entire time, Lucien and Sienna had been standing away from Canterlot, residing near the Deerling Forest. She spoke to them in the body of a controlled Deerling, barking at them. "Guess you're losing, huh?" Lucien chuckled with Cosmos sneering at him. "Uh, but all's not lost!" "What is this Celestial-Gardevoir?!" She bellowed in the body of Deerling. "You should've told me everything about this world!" "We didn't have the energy left! Sorry!" Sienna backed up, bowing her head. "But...we can tell you one thing that could help." "Spit it out!" "Celestial-Gardevoir's strong yeah...but I don't think Celestia and Passion have mastered it yet," said Lucien. "They can use it for only a short period of time. If they go on any further, they'll both harm themselves and tire out. Maybe even pass out. So uh...is that good enough?" "That's perfect." Cosmos liked the sound of that. She found something that she could expose from Celestial-Gardevoir. An easily exploitable weakness to boot. This information was given to everyone that was under Cosmos' possession, especially the body of Cynthia. Back at Canterlot, the massive smoke cloud was still going on for a bit before then starting to die down. However, once the smoke vanished, Cosmos was not there. Celestial-Gardevoir let out a small gasp, but she remained calm, waiting for Cosmos. Then again, Cosmos was everywhere so in reality, she didn't lose sight of her. Instead, Cosmos had teleported, appearing behind Celestial-Gardevoir. The Alicorn-Pokemon-Fusion was made aware of this, immediately turning around. However, she did not see Cynthia. Instead, she was face to face with a Whimsicott. "What?!" "Gotcha!" The body of Cynthia had appeared from behind instead. Whimsicott was merely the distraction. The distraction gave Cosmos her chance as she had placed her palm on Celestial-Gardevoir's back. She had then used her Chaos Magic to target Celestial-Gardevoir's biggest weakness. Her time limit. She accelerated the limit of Celestial-Gardevoir's body immediately, giving it the presence of hours gone by using it. "AAAAAH!" Naturally, this was critical to Celestial-Gardevoir's body and to the two individuals inside. The combined voice of Celestia and Passion screamed as their natural limits had been pushed immediately. Their nervous systems had been attacked as well. The residents of Canterlot watched in horror as their princess had been attacked in a horrific way. Cosmos was enjoying this. She poured some more in, wanting to torture them some more. With this overload of the senses and the limit of how long she could keep Celestial-Gardevoir active, the two of them were unable to go on. With the feeling of hours passing by within this merged body, the eyes of Celestial-Gardevoir had whited out, along with Celestia and Passion's eyes. They had passed out from this overload. Celestial-Gardevoir had split with Celestia and Passion falling right afterwards. It was a horrifying sight for the citizens as they were both due for a crash landing. Cosmos certainly wouldn't try and save them, that's for sure. "Ooh, I wonder how hard of a hit this will be?" She put on a sadistic smile, anticipating how hard the two of them would hit the ground. Ponies that had Flying-Types immediately tried saving their princess only for Cosmos to restrain them via the expansion of Ivysaur's vines. The vines had grabbed onto the wings of every Flying-Type here, holding them back. However, there was one option that they all had that could save them both. Magic. Right as they were about to hit the ground, Fancy Pants and everypony here who were all unicorns due to Canterlot's population had used their magic to grab Celestia and Passion. Their combined might was enough to reach them both. A stunning save. A close one too. Once they had been levitated in the air, Fancy Pants and the others had let go, allowing for them to touch the ground peacefully without any severe damage. "Why you...!" Cosmos was not happy about that. She was waiting for the impact, only for it to be ruined. "No matter! I still have more time for that...because guess what. I win!" "No, you haven't!" Moondancer protested. "We're still here." "Your Princess is down and out while the other princess is too busy being smashed around." Cosmos chuckled. "As far as I know, I've won this battle! And if you all want to try and fight back be my guest...I'll simply crush you just like I did to these two right here." Cosmos hovered over all of them as she immediately used her magic to heal the Pokemon that had been damaged in battle. The ones on her side of course. The storm she brought upon Canterlot worsened as the beautiful Canterlot Castle was beginning to burn down. Kanto Region. Pallet Town Day. Far away from the chaos, there was peace in the Pokemon World. Delia was in her home as always, chopping away at some carrots. It was a standard day for her with nothing too eventual happening. But she did enjoy the peace and quiet while humming away during her cooking. However, this peace was suddenly interrupted as the skies had darkened. The radiant golden sun was being blocked off by the clouds, which had taken on a different colour. Delia heard rumbling, looking outside to see the mysterious clouds. "Is it about to rain?" She wondered. "Mime-Mime." So did Mr Mime. However, these storm clouds were not natural. Delia looked out the window, noticing where they were coming from. Out of the gateway leading to the next world over at Ponyville. Cosmos' Chaos Magic had grown enough to reach here. Delia saw how these clouds continued spreading at an unusual pace. Faster than any cloud has ever spread. This didn't go unnoticed by the residents of Pallet Town. The clouds hovered over the few houses that this quiet little town possessed and especially Professor Oak's lab. Speaking of Professor Oak, he was currently working alongside his two assistants. Tracey and the Twilight Sparkle from the Human World who had shown up today. Twilight thought nothing of today until this moment. Ash's Pokemon as well. They were minding their business, only to see this sudden change in weather. Charizard, Bulbasaur. Sceptile and Infernape already had a bad feeling coming off of this. It wasn't just Pallet Town, however. Or even Kanto. The cities from far away could even notice these eerie skies. Pokemon from Viridian Forest and Cerulean Cave saw how fast these clouds were approaching. Flying-Types immediately flew away or descended, wanting to evade these skies as they could already sense a foreboding presence from them. The magic that Cosmos was emitting managed to enter this world all thanks to the gateways. With all the various gateways scattered across the world, her magic would eventually pass through them and bring about this chaotic storm. Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and beyond. All of them were about to witness an incoming storm. While this storm seemed harmless, it all depended on what happens back in the other world. As the journey continues. Chapter 785 End.
