My Little Pokémon

Planet-Sized Contract

Equestria. Canterlot. The Pokemon Festival. Nightfall.

Over at Canterlot, the number of Absorption Demons had recently dropped. The tides had shifted for Celestia's group greatly. Recently, Chrysalis and her changelings had arrived, with the goal of completing the golden stairway as soon as possible. Upon arriving, one of the demons ceased an attack on Chrysalis the moment it spotted her. It would pull back, refusing to attack those that were within Chrysalis' range.

"Why did it stop?" Celestia wondered as she would've been whipped by this demon before Chrysalis stepped in, unexpectedly saving it."

"I'm...not sure." Chrysalis shook her head as the demon would then crawl away. It would not engage with this group at all. Instead, it would flock somewhere else. "Strange. Anyway..."

"Right! The stairway!" Celestia exclaimed. "If we want to make that, we have to cease that crying first. It seems to be never-ending even if we decrease their numbers. Now that I think about it...it sounds like you."

"Me?" This was strange to hear. From what Chrysalis could gather, Celestia essentially said that she was crying. Even though Chrysalis was perfectly fine at the moment. If she was crying, it would've been back at her hive where she had an outburst after seeing Ribombee being badly hurt.

"That's what Fluttershy shared with me. And I can hear it as well. But...you're not crying at the moment. And yet their cries sound exactly like yours. As if there's a second voice that's layered with theirs. Do you know why?"

"I just got here. I wouldn't know a thing." The Changeling Queen softly shook her head. But it was peculiar to hear her own voice in this. "That wouldn't be the strangest thing that's happened so far."

"Fair enough. Up there, the main demon is battling against Kyurem. Even if we defeat all the smaller ones down here, the main demon will stick around." Celestia raised her head with Chrysalis and the other Changelings doing the same. "The stairway also needs to be repaired after what Opal did to it.

"So the only way to beat them all is to hope that Kyurem can pull it off? Well, it's a good thing he's the Words Strongest Dragon." Chrysalis added before seeing sparks of lightning go off in the sky.

But Opal Vivacity, who was still concealing herself within the clouds, knew that Kyurem wasn't the only one who could pull it off. In fact, someone else could do it much better than Kyurem could. Chrysalis herself.

After all, the Centipede Demon was a prime example of it. Now, there were only 99 Demons remaining in the Box of 100 Demons. Or rather, the Box of 99 Demons. Opal was lucky that Chrysalis was not yet aware of what she was capable of and who she was to the demons. And that was for the better, in favour of the Dread League.

Even so, Opal Vivacity couldn't take any chances. Her projected face, which wasn't seen by anyone in the first place, would vanish, leaving Canterlot entirely. Opal already decided to do something about Chrysalis, but there was something on her mind that made her greatly cautious about how she could approach the Changeling Queen.

Hoenn. Pacifidlog Town.

Back at Pacifidlog, the demon that didn't resemble a creature or an object would howl out for Chrysalis as well. This went on for minutes and became unbearable to those hearing this sound.

By this point, the water from Pacifidlog was on the brink of being completely drained out as even when crying, this demon could still absorb it all with its tail. The toxic smog from its body permeated the atmosphere, making it hard for many to hold their breath and cover their ears at the same time.

However, that was when a swift green blur came flying in. In the blink of an eye, something managed to slash the demon, ceasing all of its crying. Officer Jenny and her officers would look up to see this green blur that finally brought some silence. At least, for now.

The one responsible for this was one of the Swords of Justice. The fastest one out of them all. The Grassland Pokemon Virizion. The demon would almost fall over before regaining its balance. However, that slash from Virizion left an impact that was enough to make it stagger, wobble and jitter.

"Are you all alright?" Virizion went up to some of the people, ponies and Pokemon that were close to the sea. They seemed to be wearing beach equipment, but any beach activities had been cut short thanks to this demon's actions. Virizion would then turn to face the demon once the innocents managed to flee. With all the crying coming to a halt, they could run from the smog that was tearing away at the buildings and even affecting the clouds.

The demon knew who was responsible for that slash as it would lock onto Virizion. The Sword of Justice would then follow up on her previous attack, going for a Leaf Blade. As for the demon, it would spray out poisonous water. After absorbing a majority of Pacifidlog's water, the smog within it would corrupt the water, poisoning it. The stream of poison would tear through the ground once it was unleashed.

Virizion would zip to the side, avoiding the poisonous water which melted away the concrete. Afterwards, she would lunge forward, gaining some air-time as she was going straight for the head. But the demon would then use its bony tail, swinging it violently at the Grassland Pokemon. Virizion's sword was intercepted by this tail of bones before she could even reach the head of this demon. However, Virizion would gladly take the challenge as she would then slash past the tail, making the demon wince.

The power of nature greatly impacted the bones, allowing Virizion to reach the head. A fierce slash came from Virizion, once again, making the demon stagger. Virizion would then unleash a string of slashes to the demon's head, using Leaf Blade consecutively.

The demon would then breathe out a stream of poisonous water once more. This time, while Virizion was continuously attacking its head. Once it found a window to shoot out the toxic liquids, it took advantage of it. Virizion gasped as the poisonous water would completely engulf her. The Grassland Pokemon found herself being pushed away by the stream while being dragged across the melted ground.

Following that, the demon would then increase the size of the stream, making it larger than before as the attack would then end directly at the sea, causing a large eruption of water to go off from the impact. This massive splash made it rain instantly, dropping more poison onto the area. The demon would then breathe deeply after unleashing that large stream. From that massive splash, it looked like Virizion had fallen right there. There was a moment of silence as the water began lowering.

However, once it lowered, Virzion's body was gone. Instead, she had already appeared behind the demon, shaking the water behind her. She stood atop one of the taller buildings before then using Sacred Sword. Her speed was so impressive to the point where the demon didn't even see her move from one spot to another.

The moment the demon turned around, Virizion would swing her sword multiple times in a few seconds. The demon froze for a moment once all those slashes came through. Virizion would then lower her sword before waiting for a reaction from this demon.

And there certainly was a reaction. The demon would immediately lose body parts from all those cuts. It found itself falling apart, slowly vanishing as particles. Once it realized what had just happened, it was too late to cry out now. Back to the Box of 100 Demons it went as its entire body would disperse.

Virizion watched the particles fly away, returning to where they once came from. The clouds in the skies would vanish with this demon's defeat. However, unlike Chrysalis, who had the power to destroy them, the demon would simply just return to the box. But that didn't matter. So as long as the demon had been defeated and this town was at peace.

The main problem was the lack of water. The people, ponies and Pokemon would return once the demon was gone, seeing how the water of Pacifidlog was no longer what it used to be. With such a large majority of it gone, most of the Pokemon that would call the sea their home would be disappointed.

But Virizion and many others knew that it would return to form one day with how this world works. Virizion couldn't stay put. Not when there were more demons out there causing havoc. But she did hear the cheers and thanks that she received for stopping that demon.

Johto. Olivine City.

And then there was Olivine City, which had to deal with two demons. A Beetle Demon and a Triple-Headed Tiger Demon. This made for double the cries as they were shattering the city to bits from their collective screams. Technically, this would be four cries.

Jasmine, one of the Elite 4 Members of Johto who resided here, would cover her ears while standing beside her Steelix. Her Steelix didn't have anything to cover its ears with, if anyone could actually see its ears, so it was stuck there, shaking uncontrollably. "Drat! I just wanted my parfait and this happens! They weren't this difficult earlier!" She cried out. Jasmine recently battled against these two demons before all the crying came through. "Steelix! Earthquake!"

"S-Steelix!" Even if Steelix was being tortured by this constant crying, it didn't stop this Steel-Ground-Type from attacking. All it took was one movement to make this happen. With the end of Steelix's tail touching the ground, it was enough to prompt an Earthquake. Those golden shockwaves would rip through the ground, racing past everything else to reach the two demons.

Both demons would be silenced by the rumbling ground once it threw them off balance. The demons would fall over from the tremor, putting a stop to this torturous mourning. Jasmine sighed, feeling relieved that it had all come to an end. For the most part. The demons weren't quite defeated just yet. They would simply get back up after the Earthquake knocked them over.

It started with the Triple-Headed Tiger Demon, with each of its heads hitting each other to try and get the other adjusted and balanced once more. But the Beetle Demon was already up and ready, spreading its wings out to take flight. The shadowy horn of the Beetle Demon would knock off the tops of buildings, causing them to come crashing down while the Triple-Headed Tiger Demon would unleash those spectral beams from each of its mouths.

Jasmine had a bit more to handle compared to others. Mainly because of the fact that she had two demons to deal with. And each of them were exceptionally large compared to the Absorption Demon which only summoned smaller versions of itself.

"How'd it come to this?" Frankly, Jasmie wanted no part in this. This late at night, she was already feeling tired and there was no chance of her getting any shuteye with this. But as an Elite 4 Member, there was no way she could avoid it either.

Sinnoh. Out in a forest.

"Chrysalis has grown. I saw it with my own eyes." Back in the forest, Opal Vivacity was still conversing with Melody Moon and Bittersweet. "We could run out of demons if she learns about what she's capable of. Or worse, we might have demons that refuse to battle at all. And I certainly wouldn't want that."

"So what do we do then?" Melody asked. "She's the creator of most of these demons. It's her property, isn't it?"

"That may be the case, but we can still work around this." Opal conjured up a plan. Anything to get the edge before the tides shift greatly to the other side. "That one demon over at Canterlot is one of our best. I'd hate for it to be defeated there. So...I say we give it a contract."

"Giving that demon a contract? It's already dangerous enough as it is. Even I wouldn't let it have a contract. Bittersweet shook her head in disapproval of giving this demon a contract.

"Worth a shot. Plus, I'd like to deal with Chrysalis myself. Her majesty knows of what Chrysalis can truly be capable of. I think I can try and take both Chrysalis and Fluttershy back with us. We'd have the owner of the box and a new vampire that could be our healer for all our Pokemon. Does that sound good?"

"I guess. If you're going through with it, then let it be." Melody Moon wouldn't argue against this at all. Opal was the one in charge and was the most deductive out of all of them. "I just wish we got around instead of staying in this forest already..."

"Ah, but I think taking a step further will do!" Opal exclaimed. "I wanted to soften both worlds up, so...I think I'll give all of them contracts!"

"All of them?!" Naturally, hearing this made Melody Moon and Bittersweet shudder with disbelief in their voices. Opal planned to give each of these demons contracts to work with. The results from this made them shudder. They themselves knew the consequences of these contracts and the impact they could leave. And with so many demons being out now, Opal was about to unleash an even greater wave of destruction.

Around the Stratosphere.

Back at the stratosphere, Kyurem still found himself dealing with this Absorption Demon which was persistent in the fact that it refused to go down. Kyurem rapidly dodged and deflected incoming Dragon Pulses from this demon's attacks, barely showing any signs of tiring out.

But neither did the demon. Both of them had heaps of stamina. It was hard to say if they could even get tired. On the bright side, Kyurem managed to keep the demon from sending anything else down to Earth. On the downside, Kyurem had yet to find a decisive moment to take out this demon. Even if he did, the demon would just form something new. Such as its tongue which was broken to pieces, only for the demon to generate one made out of draconic energy.

Speaking of its tongue, it would whip it at Kyurem with its impressive length, forcing the Boundary Pokemon to deflect this as well, focusing on too many things at this point. Kyurem would swiftly switch forms once more. This time, he entered his White Form, unleashing a flare of flames from his body that push back the demon's draconic tongue.

"What is it going to take to stop you for good?" Kyurem snarled. By this point, it wasn't straightforward for him at all. He certainly had superior strength but this demon had the tenacity and self-beneficial abilities on its side.

However, the demon felt a similar sentiment. Kyurem was hard to get past. Even if it would unleash something new, Kyurem's strength would rival it in some way. The demon wanted this to be done as well. As much as it loved causing trouble and destruction, Kyurem was essentially blocking it from doing so.

The two of them would eye each other down, thinking of the best efficient way to put an end to this. Kyurem thought of how he was going to absolutely destroy this demon while the Absorption Demon thought of how it was going to evade Kyurem.

But before either could think of the best possible way, that was when a contract appeared. Courtesy of Opal Vivacity, this massive contract would flash in outer space, bringing about its bizarre writing. Kyurem's attention diverged to gaze at the contract. It wasn't the strangest thing he'd ever seen but there was still something so odd about seeing a large piece of paper in space.

Not only that, but the paper didn't freeze at all even in the vast expanse of the cosmos. Upon seeing the contract, the Absorption Demon knew what this meant. A chance. A chance for it to make a turnaround and end this battle against Kyurem. All it had to do was make a choice on what it wanted.

The demon accepted the contract with a roar, speaking out its wish. The contract would then shrink after hearing the demon's wish. Kyurem wasn't aware of what this contract was truly for and what purpose it served or why it was even here. But that would be shown to him fairly soon. Once the demon took the contract, the two heads on is back would detach.

Kyurem watched as the two heads would then leave the demon's body. But not without a purpose. To distract Kyurem, the main head would use another Dragon Pulse, forcing Kyurem to pay attention to what was approaching him. This gave the two heads enough time to fly to their main target. A nearby planet.

The wish it made with the contract involved a planet from afar. A relatively small planet that didn't look too out of the ordinary. But that didn't matter to the demon. It already tampered with the moon, making it a permanent nightfall. The rest of the cosmos were on its mind as proven by the asteroids it absorbed.

After heading to this planet, the heads would then attach to it. Right as the heads found something else to conjoin with, the magic from the Box of 100 Demons and the contract would kick in. By themselves, the heads weren't that big and wouldn't be noticeable when viewing this planet. But that's where it all changed.

The heads would suddenly grow, enlarging thanks to the power of the box. They would grow and grow until they matched a size that would replicate this planet. But they didn't just grow to match the planet's size. Instead, the two heads could come together, fusing to make one singular head. And this conjoined head would then engulf the planet it conjoined two, using the back of its open heads to do so

The Absorption Demon had become a Planet. Surpassing Kyurem in size while also having a second body to work with. Kyurem was flabbergasted by this. Now there was the issue of a planet-sized demon.

This planet was slightly bigger than the moon but smaller than the Earth. However, that wouldn't stop the potential destruction that would come from this. The main body would grow the two heads back just for safe measure as the creepiest grin formed on its face. All four of them.

Now that it possessed a Planet as a body, or rather a head, the demon would take full advantage of this newfound power in exchange for its own lifespan. And it started by opening that massive mouth of its. Now that it was larger than ever, the absorption powers of the demon had been elevated to a new level.

Kyurem would snarl, feeling the grand suction that came from this demon. But he wasn't the only target. Once more, asteroids would fly into the demon's mouth from the sheer volume of this suction. However, that was all natural for this demon. The newfound powers consisted of a massive beam that was gathered up by the energy of the planet and the energy the demon already managed to absorb.

Kyurem gasped before being hit by the beam. It didn't immediately explode upon contact. But instead, Kyurem, who tried pushing it back, was being carried back down to Earth. The demon was going for a direct blow to the planet. Specifically, Canterlot.

And with an attack this large along with the asteroids that were being shot out, the results could be catastrophic. It was made worse by the fact that the demon was now large enough to threaten every other part of this world. And potentially, if it wasn't stopped, even the Pokemon World as the journey continues.

Chapter 983 End.
