//------------------------------// // Unlocked Anger! The coming of an otherworldly force // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Equestria. Faye Mountains. Changeling Hive. The Pokemon Festival. Afternoon. Away from all the conflict happening up in the stars within the Galaxy Tower and away from the nightfall attacks of the vampires were the Changelings. This area with all of its Fairy Magic remained untouched along with other locations in this world and the Pokemon World. Of course, there was a reason considering the relations between the Changelings and the Vampires. Mainly Mellifera. Arriving here in their chariot were the King and Queen of Pegalysium, here to request assistance from the changelings. It greatly involved the situation happening in the sky as Tip-Off came with them, bringing the mural along. Chrysalis wasn't too familiar with King Paramount and Queen Luminary but thanks to relations with Celestia, they could have a civil chat as Paramount showed her the mural and what it told. "In space?!" Chrysalis bellowed. "Impossible!" "The mural you see here tells of what is happening above. Right now, there is a massive structure that is beyond the skies and with the stars. These familiar faces seem to be confronting a cosmic being up in that structure." Tip-Off explained. "So, the only problem we're facing is well...getting up to space." "If it's not any trouble, we were hoping you could share something with us that could help get us to that structure." Luminary pleaded. "I heard from Celestia that you had a plethora of magic at your disposal." "Hmph. As if I'd know how to do so. There's not a spell in this world that I know of that can bring us to space let alone breathe in it." Chrysalis shook her head. Alas, such a spell was not possessed by her in any way. "What a shame...I suppose such a spell is too fantastical to exist. Even for us." Luminary sighed. "For how high we live in the sky, it's hard to believe that we don't know or have anypony that's an expert in this," Paramount added. "But...since Ash is involved in this predicament, why should I not attempt to do something about it. Of course I'll help. However, you'll need someone who has a better understanding of space than I ever could." "Who would that be?" Paramount questioned. "There's this organisation of Pokemon Trainers known as the Pokemon Rangers. Perhaps, they're the ones we need to go to. They're far more advanced in this than us probably." "Pokemon Rangers?" The Royal Duo repeated. Another term in the Pokemon World that they would have to be informed of. In this case, it was somewhat crucial to know about the Pokemon Rangers. "Hm? Oh! Your majesties! The mural is changing again!" Tip-Off called for them as the images on the mural began shifting New images were coming, telling of the possible future. It still focused on the event happening in the cosmos before then revealing events that have already happened. The current position of Applejack, Apple Bloom and Sceptile. It showed them within the orbs with Galaxy Master in the middle. The image even showed the defeat of many at the hands of Galaxy Master and the Pokemon he summoned, especially his Dragonite. The rest of the image showed Celestia and Cynthia being confronted by their own Pokemon while Ash was still active. "What does this mean?" Luminary questioned. "Because it's certainly giving me a bad feeling from how it's presented. The odds don't seem to be in their favour from what the mural is showing us" "I know one thing. I won't stand around and not do a thing about this. If I don't, Anthophilia will surely cry forever." Chrysalis joked. "I myself don't know where to find a Pokemon Ranger, but you can ask to see one and request help. As for me...I'll wait until a way to reach that structure in space is found." "The only way to do so is by looking at this gateway right here." Paramount pointed his hoof at the one part of the mural which showed a gateway. This was potentially the only way for them to reach the Galaxy Tower, so as long as an existing location in the Pokemon World possesses this singular gateway. And that would be an issue since there were so many gateways scattered everywhere. But they had to try. "If we find that gateway, we find Princess Celestia and her group." "Best spread the news to, dear. I doubt that her subjects know about this since it takes place in space." Tip-Off nudged him, giving a quick recommendation. "Leve that to me." Chrysalis smiled as she would handle spreading the news. The trust between the Changelings and Ponies has been strengthened enough for Chrysalis' voice to truly be heard. Outer Space. Up in space, away from the Galaxy Tower was Applejack. Alongside her little sister and her partner Pokemon, thanks to the Rift, they were all trapped in space within these orbs that kept them safe yet imprisoned. "Come on...!" Applejack had her Xtransceiver out, attempting to contact her friends. However, the Xtransceiver had failed her. Mainly because there wasn't a single transmission available. Not out here and within this orb. Thus, calling for her friends had been ruled out. And since that didn't work, there was always the second option which relied on Appleack's own physical strength that she's been working on for years. Banging on the orb, Applejack tried breaking out of it just so she could help her friends who were currently dealing with a vengeful cosmic being at the moment. But, all this banging made Applejack realize two things. Her strength was pointless and breaking the orb meant that she would have to perish in space in seconds. "Darn it..." Applejack lowered her head, ceasing her banging unless she wanted to suffocate. The earth pony then glanced at her saddlebag which possessed the rest of her Poke Balls. Unfortunately, even she knew assistance from them was pointless. There was the ace-in-the-hole, Delta Riolu, but that would potentially lead to suffocation as well. "What can I do?" Applejack pondered. The Rift truly put her in a comprising position. Outer space was nothing like the earth, land, the sea or the sky. One wrong move in this final frontier and it would be game over. All her hopes were placed on her friends, hoping that they could find her. But right now, she was thinking about how to reach her younger sister who was still unconscious and couldn't even hear her older sister's words. Galaxy Tower. "G-Gardevoir...!" Meanwhile, just as the mural showed, Gardevoir and even Garchomp were against their own trainers. But it was still the Rift taking some control of their bodies. Gardevoir and Garchomp had various hesitations in their bodies, desperately not wanting to hurt the ones they loved. But the Rift's control was powerful enough to force them to make certain swings. Their restraint only went as far enough as to prevent any ranged attacks from being unleashed. Gardevoir would bash on Celestia's barrier, only to be then pushed back by her trainer via an expansive barrier. "Garchomp...! Stop!" Cynthia was currently in a struggle with her Garchomp, who was on the verge of slashing the Sinnoh Champion. "G-Gar!" But, that was futile as well. Garchomp's physical strength far exceeded any human. Cynthia could already feel her arms trembling when trying to hold Garchomp back. The only reason she wasn't fully crushed was that Garchomp was hesitating as much as she could. "Chomp!" Garchomp then laughed Cynthia away, causing her to knock into Celestia. Both fell over but they thankfully were exempt from serious injuries thanks to the hesitation of their Pokemon. "Are you alright, Cynthia?" Celestia asked, lifting Cynthia off her body in seconds. Now wasn't the time to slow down as they didn't have to worry about just their Pokemon but also the attacking Pokemon from the Rift. They were close by at the Food Stand along with Luna who was having trouble of her own, unable to have a Pokemon assist her since Nightmare Moon was currently in possession of them all. "I am...But they're only going to suffer more unless we do something." Cynthia groaned. "They can't return to their Poke Balls so as long as those cracks are around their bodies. "I can try something. This might help get Passion back to us." Celestia had a plan. A simple one that could be effective. That involved the keystone. Her bond with Passion goes as far as the point where the two of them can become one. If there was ever a time to use this, it was now. "G-Garde?!" Suddenly, Passion's pupils shrunk in absolute shock at what she saw. It wasn't the Mega Stone. Rather it was what was behind Celestia and Cynthia. "Beheeyem!" Beheeyem snuck up on them both, already having an attack ready for the duo. Multiple Beheyeem to be exact. They already spotted Celestia going for the Mega Stone. Seeing their trainers in peril, prompted action from Gardevoir and Garchomp. "Voir!" Passion attempted to reach her in time, but in this instance, Beheeyem was faster. Both trainers were caught by Beheeyem's Psychic, restrained with a Psychic hold. Amidst all this scuffling, it was only a matter of time until one Pokemon would be crafty enough to catch someone off guard. The Mega Stone from Celestia was removed from her grasp, dropping to the soft floor. Now that Beheeyem had a hold of them both, with its Psychic powers, Cerebral Pokemon used them like puppets. Or rather, ragdolls was the better term as it immediately launched them both at Garchomp and Gardevoir. All of them with their combined strength were enough to control these two ladies with a hard Psychic outline to break through, even for Celestia. "G-Garde!" The control of the Rift was encouraging Gardevoir and Garchomp to hit them while they were coming this way. But the love they had for their trainers said otherwise. The cracks worsened as Garchomp and Gardevoir raised their arms, unable to fully stop this manipulation. "Gar!" Then, a slash went off. Garchomp swung first while Passion went next. Celestia and Cynthia closed their eyes, fearing that their Pokemon went through with these attacks successfully. And only one of them was true. Garchomp only slashed a bit of Cynthia's jacket off, keeping her safe from bodily harm. But the same couldn't be said for Celestia. Passion's attack ended up connecting, much to the shock of the Embrace Pokemon. Celestia was struck directly, grimacing and wincing. Passion was frozen in disbelief. She ended up harming Celestia, the one so close to her. But Beheeyem only made it worse. After Passion stood there in shock and terror, the Psychic-Type ended up rocketing Celestia's body, sending her over Gardevoir and straight towards the volatile area of Pokemon Moves. Celestia would be struck by a random Pokemon attack that was thrown by one of the Pokemon. But multiple moves ended up connecting with her, each coming from both sides. Celestia was injured even further for Passion to watch. This ferocity from Beheeyem only came from the control of the Rift, leading to this horrific and cruel action. "Garde...Garde...!" Naturally, something sparked within Passion. Seeing Celestia take this damage was all that it took to push her over the edge. She was already distraught that she had to attack her own trainer who was like a mother to her. Now, this was enough to anger the Embrace Pokemon. "Gardevoir!" She couldn't hold back what she needed to unleash. Her anger got the better of her, causing a flash of magic and Infinity Energy to flare out of her body. That dormant power in her that was still being tucked away thanks to her constantly growing potential was starting to reveal itself as the emotion of the Embrace Pokemon resembled pure rage. "P-Passion! Don't do it!" Celestia, who could still stand even after having so many Beheeyem assault her, feared something like this happening. She then remembered exactly what Olympia said way back when Passion was still getting used to being a Gardevoir. "A power that is the complete antithesis to Passion. One that goes against Passion's natural loving nature. Whatever is lurking within her, I fear that if Passion were to Mega Evolve once more, that strange power might be truly unleashed." But in this instance, it wasn't Mega Evolution that was triggering this power. It was simply emotions. Despite being known as the Embrace Pokemon, qualities of Ralts and Krilia were still present within Gardevoir. The downside to this was that since Mega Evolution hadn't been used, Celestia couldn't just end the evolution to calm her down. Something else had to be done but at the moment, Passion's anger was exploding as her magical aura then formed into furious flames. At the same time, she still had the cracks of Rift Energy around her. Even with this rage, they didn't fizzle out. "Gardevoir!" Her first target were the Beheeyem, obviously. After what they did, she took out all her anger on them. However, while it was a positive that Passion was now fighting against the enemy instead of with them, her bursting rage plus the Rift's control brought some risks. Everyone else was a target. Passion smashed her arms on the floor, creating a powerful and violent stream of rainbows that came rushing out, tearing the soft floor apart. At first, it looked like they were going for the Beheeyem. And indeed they were. However, the radius of it threatened Cynthia and Garchomp. Cynthia was also being held by the Beheeyem, unable to move her body. Because of this, the raging rainbows would most definitely strike her while going on a rampage. But, for this instance, Garchomp managed to get some control yet again, lunging at Cynthia. "Gar!" Garchomp grabbed Cynthia, being her shield. She received super-effective damage thanks to the incoming rainbows which viciously grazed her. "Beheeyem!" Seeing how badly it Garchomp, even if they resisted it, the Beheyeem would rather not face this devastating Dazzling Gleam was they removed their control over both Celestia and Cynthia before scattering. "Voir!" Scattering only enraged Gardevoir further. She focused on all the Beheeyem that took off, fixated on attacking all of them instead of going after just one. "Passion! Wait!" Now that Celestia was free, she could try and stop Passion before it was too late. Right now, Passion's rage was only rising. If it were to keep going and reach its peak, then Galaxy Master wouldn't be the only one to worry about. "Heeyem!" The Rift-Controlled Beheeyem used Shadow Ball in unison, attacking Passion from all sides. "G-Garde!" Gardevoir covered her head once the Shadow Bals crashed into her, dealing super-effective damage repeatedly. This would only anger her further. And with this growing anger came an expulsion of electricity. "Voir!" Passion used Thunderbolt, shooting the attack from every direction. "Be!" Such frantic bolts would hit some of the Beheeyem with how aggressively fast they approached. The walls were hit as was Garchomp. But she was completely fine thanks to her immunity. "G-Gar...!" Garchomp, despite saving Cynthia, still felt the urge to attack her. Cynthia backed up as Garchomp was slowly approaching her. This slow movement was not just because of the hesitant heart of the Mach Pokemon but also Passion's Dazzling Gleam which grazed her. "Garchomp...if I have to battle you, then so be it." Cynthia reluctantly said as the only option right now was to potentially battle Garchomp to calm her down. "Don't!" But Celestia thought otherwise. While trying to reach Passion who was unleashing flashes of lightning everywhere, she pleaded with Cynthia not to confront Garchomp. "Go and find Ash! Or even Applejack! Have the Aura break the control instead of going through with this." "You're right...!" Cynthia gasped, realizing there was another way. The best way past this and currently one of the few ways to break the Rift's Mind Control. "And by that logic, it should do the same with the Rift's Pokemon too." "Gar!" While conversing with Celestia, Garchomp attacked, lunging with her fangs bearing out. "Arcanine! Go!" Quickly, Celestia launched her Poke Ball in the midst of this electric field. The Poke Ball managed to slip through the lightning thanks to Celestia's guidance, unleashing Arcanine. "Arcanine!" "Arcanine! Guide Cynthia to Ash or Applejack! Hurry!" If there was someone here who could track Ash down, Arcanine was a great contender. After all, Pinkie Pie was occupied as well. The nose of Arcanine certainly wouldn't let anyone down now. Just as Garchomp was ready to bite into Cynthia, along came Arcanine via Extreme Speed. By moving at speeds that were invisible to the naked eye, Arcanine tackled the Mach Pokemon away, preventing the worst from happening. "G-Gar!" This led to Garchomp hitting the walls and tumbling for a bit. "Thank you, Arcanine! Lead the way!" Cynthia thanked him before flowing the lead of the Legendary Pokemon. That only prompted Garchomp to follow them. But of course, Garchomp knew just as well that the Aura could free her so either way, she would've followed Cynthia and Arcanine. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for Passion, who didn't even hear comments about the Aura. If anything, Aura couldn't save her now. It would stop the mind control but the anger was something else. "Be! Behee!" The Beheeyem were all being targeted by Passion who viciously attacked them with Mystical Fire, a truly super-effective attack. If Celestia wanted to save Passion, it would mean getting close to her as being far away would do nothing. Just like how she got close to Passion when she was a Kirlia, this instance was identical to when Passion had another power outburst. But the scenarios were far different from each other and yet, Celestia would try and stop them with the same force as before. Absolute love. "Chomp!" Meanwhile, Garchomp chased Cynthia and Arcanine through the hallways, using that match speed of hers. But this speed was held back thanks to Garchomp's hesitation. She wasn't moving as fast but she was certainly moving at a pace that forced Cynthia and Arcanine to move as fast they could, lest they were grabbed by the Ground-Dragon-Type's jaws. "I hope you're close, Ash," Cynthia said to herself while on the run. "I also hope you don't witness what's become of your beloved character." Galaxy Master, AKA the Rift, stood before Bertha and Sci-Twi, ready to face off with them. Any friend of Ash, which was practically everyone here was a target that the Rift could use just to make Ash suffer. But, this battle would also serve as a way to prove Bertha wrong. After all, Bertha managed to spot a flaw in the Rift's claim about Galaxy Master being unbeatable in every way. Bertha wanted to prove the Rift wrong and show her that there was one weakness that Galaxy Master had. And the confrontation between Luna and Darkrai was proof of that. Mamoswine had been sent out from Bertha's side as the Rift wanted to prove a point, without needing to use any Pokemon aside from that one Pikachu. It wanted to prove that it could defeat them all with just the body of Galaxy Master and without various Pokemon on its side. Sci-Twi gulped, despite choosing to confront the Rift, showed visible signs of fear in her body language and face. But there were two things keeping her positive. She was alongside an Elite 4 Member and there was also the fact that she wasn't the only rookie Pokemon Trainer here. The Rift could be considered one. "Mamoswine! Ancient Power!" "Mamo!" From the soft floor itself and even from outer space, fossilized rocks had been summoned before being launched. Even in space, those rocks would still appear somehow, someway. "This is nothing!" The Rift boasted before using the athletic body of Galaxy Master to stylishly flip over the rocks, evading them in the process. "Now, Pikachu! Please, use Thunderbolt!" "Pika...Chuuu!" Surely, not even electricity could be avoided by these flips. Once that bolt of 100,000 came flying in, the Rift merely used his abilities to prevent any potential damage. Dodging lightning was out of the question as he flicked his arm up after sticking a stylish landing, creating a saucer of Rift Magic. This dome ended up swallowing all of the electricity from Pikachu's attack instead of simply blocking it. It was not a barrier at all. After absorbing the electricity, Galaxy Master would then use this saucer as a weapon, throwing it. Out of it came those same electrical sparks along with the velocity of this cosmic saucer. "Pika?!" "Mamo!" Coming to Pikachu's rescue was Mamoswine. He completely let the electricity come to him thanks to his immunity, preventing Sci-Twi or Pikachu from receiving any damage. But, even after taking the electricity, he still received damage in the form of that saucer which crashed into him. "M-Mamo!" Much like being hit by an actual saucer, it was painful but against a Mamoswine, this saucer was tailormade for Pokemon. "Here! Take these rocks back!" Galaxy Master then manipulated the rocks from Ancient Power which were way behind him. He once again used his opponents' attacks against them, redirecting these fossilized rocks. "Pikachu! Use Thunder Punch!" "Pikachu!" Intercepting these rocks was Pikachu as he began swinging at the rocks with electrifying fists. He managed to hit them away, but there was one problem. The other Pikachu. "Pika!" Galaxy Master's Pikachu struck at the right time, hitting his fellow Mouse Pokemon with a Quick Attack. Right as he failed to hit the final rock, prompting a double hit. The first hit came from Quick Attack while the second was from Ancient Power. "Understand what you're up against now?" The Rift taunted before then flicking his fingers up. By doing so, a tower of cosmic energy sprouted from the floor, racing toward them all. Bertha squinted as so far, she wasn't exactly getting the upper hand over the Rift. But the Sinnoh Elite 4 Member still knew she could change that. "Mamoswine! Earthquake!" "Mamo!" Mamoswine then fought back by using Earthquake. The only attack strong enough to stop this pillar was certainly Earthquake as the second these two attacks met, they were even. They both cancelled each other out upon contact, dealing no damage to the other side. "See? With just minimal numbers, I'm this much of a threat! Now, I'm going to end this at once, Bertha!" The Rift declared once the smoke started clearing. But no one responded. Rather, action was taken. Right as the smoke was clearing, moving through it was Galaxy Master's own Pikachu. He came flying, crashing into the head of the Fictional Character just to make him flinch. "Pi!" "Ugh!" "You should pay more attention to your Pokemon! Even if they aren't yours!" Bertha exclaimed as the opposing Pikachu was caught up in the clash between the pillar and the Earthquake. "Ice Beam!" "Swine!" Taking advantage of this moment, Mamoswine followed up with an Ice Beam. But he wouldn't be the only one using a beam. Joining him was Alpha Pikachu and his Thunderbolt. "Pikachu!" "Why you...!" Galaxy Master growled before being caught by both attacks in an elemental sandwich. This went for his Pikachu as well. The ice began placing his body in an icy prison while the electricity would only add to this restraint via paralysis. "More!" Bertha clamoured for more power behind the Ice Beam. "Mamoooo!" Mamoswine added extra power into the ice which then froze Galaxy Master faster. The Rift thundered with aggravation before then having his arms frozen over. Pikachu was already frozen thanks to his smaller body and at this moment, the combination of electricity and ice was tough to try and break free from. "Bertha...!" He shouted out her name. It didn't help that Bertha looked on with a smile, knowing that she was turning the tide of battle. Or rather, they've already been turned as one of Galaxy Master's Pokemon were frozen. "Pika...!" Alpha Pikachu took a deep breath after using Thunderbolt. Successfully, he helped out in stopping Galaxy Master's movements. "Yes! We did it!" Sci-Twi cheered. "Way to go, Pikachu! I didn't think it'd be that quick! "Not yet! Let's put an end to this. Earthquake!" Bertha would continue. Restraints weren't enough. Mamoswine caused another Earthquake, sending it toward a restrained Galaxy Master, who was frozen and paralyzed at the same time. Unable to think of a way to stop this as fast as he could, Galaxy Master could only take the hit. The shattering power of Earthquake took out his Pikachu as to be expected. But as for Galaxy Master, not so much. He took damage, but not enough to put him down. The Rift breathed in and out, still controlling his body. Its resilience was something to behold. The only thing that was incredibly effective on it was Aura after all. Anything else was below that. "It seems you can take a lot of punishment," Bertha added. "But for how long? Mamoswine. Keep that ice fresh." "Don't...underestimate me...!" Galaxy Master sneered. "I still have two other Pokemon that I've yet to call...Now is the perfect time to bring them along." There were two Pokemon in mind. Two Pokemon that the Rift could summon that Galaxy Master couldn't. The cosmic energy within his body was burning up in an attempt to melt the ice, only for Mamoswine to keep it fresh, using Ice Beam yet again. But even though he couldn't break free at the moment, it didn't stop him from reaching these two Pokemon. Mainly because they were coming from an outside source. Specifically, another realm. Outside the tower, Applejack stayed silent, doing nothing for the most part. She only chose to wait. She didn't have that much of an option right now. But while waiting, that's when something happened. A noise came through that could reach her ears and even Sceptile's. Not Apple Bloom who was still down and out. When hearing this noise, they found out where it was coming from. A crack. A crack in space had formed. Truly more surreal than seeing a crack in the sky. Applejack stood up, stunned by this crack as it was slowly getting bigger, dropping cosmic shards out of them. "What in tarnation...?" "Sceptile?" What could be coming out of that crack? The answer would come in the form of two respective cries. These cries were incredibly familiar to the ears. The cries of Dialga and Palkia. Or rather, something akin to them. Something that only the Rift could interact with. The unison of Arceus' light and the Rift's power. That combination of energy flashed out of the crack as it only belonged to two known individuals that were identical to the Creators of Time and Space. Unbeknownst to many, Rift-Dialga and Rift-Palkia were coming. As the journey continues. Chapter 910 End.
