My Little Pokémon

Story for a little sister: Part 3

Equestria. Pikachu Highlands. Reality. Day.

Taking a break from reading Luna a story, Celestia had shown up to the Pikachu Highlands while food for Luna was being made. A civil war between the Pikachu was about to begin. One involving the rulers, Emperor PikaSupreme and Empress PikaRegal.

Both PikaSupreme and Empress PikaRegal were currently arguing against each other. They argue sometimes as a married couple but not to this degree.

"Pika! Pikachu-Pi!" The Pikachu on PikaSupreme's side exclaimed as they all sat around a roundtable. Sitting in between them was Princess Celestia herself, trying to diffuse the situation.

And as a form of extra help, she brought Fluttershy. She was the perfect translator for this. And hopefully, she could also understand the quarrel between both sides.

"Let's calm down here," Fluttershy said. "I know you're both adamant on what you want to do with the empire. Replacing it or not. But we won't get anywhere by-"

"PIKA!" A Pikachu slammed his fist on the table, causing lightning to erupt and sparking up the conflict once more. Fluttershys' ears dropped as Audino held her close.

Celestia sat there with an unchanging face. She was tapping her hoof, waiting for this to be over. She was thinking of heading for Luna's food while also continuing the story for Luna. But from how things were going, time will be consumed greatly.

She wishes she could just leave and get back to Luna. Which she could with teleportation. However, this civil war could maybe threaten Canterlot and the rest of Equestria. That was a risk she could not take. For the sake of her sister and subjects, Celestia chose to wait.

"Hang in there, Luna."

Canterlot. Afternoon.

Darkrai had filled in for Celestia, deciding to read to Luna instead. He's not a reader but he would try his best. Luna was eager to see what a Pokemon like Darkrai had to offer when it comes to reading.

"Are you ready?" Darkrai asked.

"Mhm." A sick Luna nodded. "Can you read the exciting part? And make it authentic with some shadows."

"Alright, alright, I will. Actually." Darkrai paused for a moment before using his shadows to grab Luna's saddlebag. By doing so, he brought over all of her Poke Balls. Darkrai had most of Luna's Pokemon into the mix. Not just five or six of them. Most of the Pokemon she's caught over the months and last year. "Let's add some authenticity to it."

"Huh?" Luna squinted her eyes before sneezing again. "Achoo! What do you mean by that?"

"We'll have moves fit the mood of the story. Good thing we have every possible element for that, hm?"

"Mhm. Good thinking Darkrai. Go on"

"Right." Darkrai looked at the book as he manipulated the room by making everything dark "They soon knew that the Dark Lord was searching for the fourth princess. And with Ghetsis' spell, they could be tracked without too much time being consumed. However, Ash and Pikachu, the Creature Master and Thunder Creature, already eager to assist, knew of a way to evade them. But also a way to counterattack and rescue everyone captive."

Ash and Pikachu knew of a way to evade Guild Plasma before they could arrive. And surprisingly, he led the group to a place that didn't fit the current circumstances.

A beach.

"Haha! Yeah!" Ash lunged through the air as he jumped into the water with Pikachu as well.

"Pika-Pika!"

"A beach?" said Twilight.

"We're supposed to be saving Apple Bloom and the others. And we're here?" Applejack wasn't sure about this. She was afraid that delays for saving her sister were just being made at this point.

"No need to worry." Ash popped his head out of the water. "We're gonna rescue them when their ship gets here. I wouldn't waste any time for someone in danger. The Water-Type Pokemon are gonna help us."

"Pika-Pika."

"Wait. I thought we were running from them since they're looking for us," said Pinkie Pie. "We're gonna let them come to us?"

"Kinda. Come on inside and I'll show ya." Ash encouraged the group to enter the water. They weren't sure what Ash's approach was in this, but they felt like they could trust him. Spike had even joined in. He hadn't left the area due to him being infatuated by Rarity.

"Okay!" Pinkie Pie was already eager as she performed a cannonball into the water, causing a fairly big splash. Twilight and the others hopped in afterwards. Soon, all of them, including their Pokemon were in the water.

"So...what now?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Check this out. Yoohoo!" Ash then whistled a nice tune. One that resembled the Poke Flue tune as it echoed through the area. Audino heard it first thanks to her hearing as she immediately gravitated towards Ash.

"Audino."

"Espeon." So did Espeon and a few others as Ash was surrounded. Everyone could see that Ash's white was some kind of method for drawing Pokemon in. And the Water-Type Pokemon were the prime objective as they can assist, according to Ash.

As Twilight and the others looked around, that's when they felt something massive elevate them and make physical contact with them. The group convulsed with shock as they felt like they were about to lose their balance. Except they didn't. Immediately, emerging from the waters of the beach was a Wailord.

The World's Largest Pokemon.

"WAILORD!"

"Sweet Celestia!" Rarity gasped as the group had witnessed the Float Whale Pokemon carrying them all. They were stunned by its size as they had never been up close to a Wailord before.

But it wasn't just Wailord. Other Water-Type Pokemon had emerged from the water, such as Lanturn, Whiscash, Seadra, Corsola, Alomomola, Sharpedo and more. Almost every Water-Type Pokemon was here under Ash's call.

"Alright, you guys. We've got big trouble coming this way." Ash said to the Pokemon. "So we're gonna hatch a plan, okay? I say we've got at least an hour to make it happen."

"Lanturn! Lan!" Lanturn and the other Pokemon agreed and understood Ash.

"What about us, Creature Master?" Twilight asked.

"Ah, Ash is fine. You guys can help out too. I bet you've got a lot of neat tricks, ya know." Ash nodded along with Pikachu.

"Pika-Pika."

"Well, we have magic." Twilight and Rarity tapped their horns.

"Yeah! Plus, Twilight's meant to be the next princess!" Pinkie dashed over. "Wonder when that's gonna happen? Do the wings just show up randomly?"

"I'll try my best." Twilight shrugged. "Rarity can make armour but I'm not sure they'll fit on the Pokemon. Plus, you used all of your armour against the lightning, didn't you?"

"All of it." Rarity sighed. "What a shame...and a waste. But it was for the greater good!" She then raised her head, holding it high as she pressed forward. But a teardrop fell down her eye.

"Cool." Ash gave a thumbs-up. "Okay, here's what we're gonna do.

"And so, they began crafting a plan to confront and throw off the Plasma Frigate when it ends up arriving. Everyone's own strengths would be utilized. The Water-Types would play a great role in this for their ability to disrupt anything mechanical or electrical. But at the same time, the group would bond with each other."

Everyone had their pans ready. But the Mane 6 were feeling exhausted and hungry after all they've been through. So a slight break was needed. Thankfully, Rarity's bag had some food within that Pinkie Pie had placed before they set off on this adventure.

"Mmm!" Ash devoured some food along with Pikachu and everyone else. "Nice!"

"Pikachu!"

"So. What are you guys gonna do after all this is over?" Ash asked with his mouth full.

"Hm? Not sure. I guess we'll go back to living our normal lives. Well, until I become an alicorn. Whenever that happens. If I become a princess, will I get my own castle?"

"I mean, yeah. Why not?" Pinkie Pie replied. "Maybe it'll be in Crossville. Can't wait for you to be an alicorn. Ooh! Can I be your Royal Baker when that happens?!"

"I was thinking of something similar." Rarity peered her head over. "I could be your Royal Armourer. Plus, I already had a massive dream ahead of me similar to that. That could add to it."

"Uh, what Pinkie Pie said." Applejack nudged her head over at Pinkie. "I could make some food. But if the castle ain't in Crossville then, I don't know. I get a bit homesick, ya know."

"Well, how does something similar to the Canterlot Gardens sound? There are lots of Pokemon there for us to view. We could have something like that one day." Fluttershy suggested. "Plus, that's also been my dream to have something like that. Like a Pokemon House for all Pokemon. Where they can all gather if they want a place to be."

"Well, I've already got my dream," Spike said while eating some nearby gemstones. "But, I could want more. What about you, Rainbow Dash? What's your dream?"

"My dream." Rainbow Dash blew her mane. "I don't know. I like Pokemon Battles but...not really much to go for it. They're fun though." She then laid her back on Wailord.

"I got it!" Ash stood up, putting his hands together. "How does a tournament sound?"

"Tournament?" Everyone looked at him as Rainbow Dash's attention was now grabbed.

"Yeah. If you really wanna kill that boredom and get some satisfaction, then how about a tournament where all the toughest Pokemon Trainers come around and battle it out to become champion? Sounds like a neat idea, doesn't it?"

"Oh, yeah it does!" Rainbow Dash flapped her wings, ascending with excitement. "You know what's up, Creature Ma-uh, Ash. Thanks!"

"No problem. But..." Ash adjusted his hat. "I'll be entering too. I may be a master, but that won't stop me from having fun."

"Oh come on. At least let me be a champion." Rainbow Dash puffed her cheeks while Ash chuckled.

"Okay." Ash then felt the Aura Patterns around him change. "Looks like Guild Plasma's getting closer. Let's get ready, team."

"Okay!" Everyone, including the Pokemon had cried out in agreement. They would ready themselves with a major surprise attack as positions were being set.

"From how you're reading this, it sounds like there'll be more." Luna interrupted the story.

Reality.

"Will there be more?" She blubbered almost letting out another sneeze.

"No. I was just getting in the mood of things." Darkrai said. "I can thank Celestia for immersing me with this."

"Hm. That reminds me. Do you count as a Royal Guard to me, Darkrai?"

"Technically, yes." Darkrai nodded. "Including all of the Pokemon here. But in truth, we're more your friends than guards."

"That is true." Luna nodded before sniffling. "Go on."

"Hang in there. We're reaching the end soon. Way before Celestia can show up. But I wonder what's taking her so long?" Darkrai pondered as the Pokemon set the mood once more.

Pikachu Highlands. Afternoon.

"Pika!" A Pikachu had thrown a chair as a brawl had broken out in the palace. Celestia and Fluttershy had their hooves full as the situation was not being neutralized at all.

"I never knew Pikachu can get so violent like this!" Fluttershy squeaked. "Even my stare has no effect!"

"Ugh...This was meant to be a civil discussion." Celestia sighed before avoiding an incoming chair that was thrown to another Pikachu. Electric-Type moves were being thrown as the roundtable had been flipped. "Luna. Hang in there for me."

"I've got a trick we can try!" Fluttershy gasped, gaining a breakthrough. "Audi! Use Heal Pulse at its absolute limit!"

"Dino! Audino...!" Audino had a way to calm everyone down. And potentially a way to make this discussion more civil and solve the problem. Celestia pouted her lips, hoping to end this as soon as possible.

Back in the story, the Guild Plasma ship had arrived. Its gigantic shadow hovered over the land as the Dark Magic from Ghetsis started giving everything a dark ambience. Guild Plasma was expecting to see the fourth princess after approaching, but so far, no sign of her. Just Water-Type Pokemon seemingly living their normal days and lives.

"She's close. But where is she?" Ghetsis wondered. "Colress. Is that cannon ready?"

"It is, Lord Ghetsis. Thanks to the magic, now it can fire two times in a row." Colress patted the cannon.

"Good." Ghetsis then turned to face the outside. He even went the outside of the upper deck, looking across the land as he had one way to drag out the princess. "I know you're somewhere here, princess! Come out!"

Ghetsis put his hand forward, using his Dark Magic. He had summoned dark flames, aiming them at the grounds of the beach. The flames connected, causing a violent eruption and wildfire that started spreading. His aim was to either drag Twilight out with destructive flames or incinerate her in them.

Either way, he would've accomplished his goal.

But as the flames spread, even threatening to infect the water, standing on top of a tall mountain was Ash and Pikachu. They looked onwards at the ship as Ash took a deep breath. They currently weren't in view of Ghetsis due to them being hidden in the clouds. These mountains were unnaturally tall. Now was the time to throw Guild Plasma off balance.

"Here goes. Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Pika...Chuuu!" Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder, jumping into the air summoning an aura of electricity. Afterwards, he sent a blast of 100,000 volts that had struck the ship. Not only that, but it had damaged the engines that allowed it to move forward, backwards or any direction really.

"!" Ghetsis gasped as the Plasma Frigate trembled. He almost lost balance from that, falling off the frigate. The ship was now headed for the mountains up ahead with no way to change course. That's when Ghetsis squinted his eyes as the clouds started to move.

He had seen Ash and Pikachu.

"The Thunder Creature and Creature Master!" He called out before smirking. "I've been waiting for this." Showing no fear, Ghetsis hopped onto his Hydreigon, flying towards Ash and Pikachu.

"Here he comes!" Ash then whistled, giving out the command for everyone else that was a part of the plan. But not only did he give the command, but he also summoned the Flying-Type Pokemon for assistance.

High above the skies, flying over and beside the Plasma Frigate were all of the Flying-Type Pokemon within the vicinity. But, this was where the Water-Types came into play. All at once, under Ash's command, they had used Water-Type attacks, shooting them upwards.

The electricity from Pikachu's Thunderbolt was still lingering. Perfect for water to touch it. And the water did indeed touch it. Upon contact, the water and electricity had mixed, causing a violent reaction. And that reaction further scrambled the Plasma Frigate as its power had been depleted. It was now prone to fall towards the water instead of into the mountains. Arguably, not as safe.

But, that's where Wailord would come in. Everyone else was still within the ship, petrified. So the fall of the Plasma Frigate needed to be safe for everyone's sake. Wailord acted as the cushion. Despite its size, it is a surprisingly soft Pokemon. Perhaps one of the reasons why it can float.

The Frigate landed on Wailord, taking minimal damage. However, due to the mixture of electricity and water, not only were the engines fried but the grunts had been affected too. Most of them were shocked and paralyzed due to this chaotic combination. Some enemy Pokemon even fainted too.

And next were the Flying-Types. They immediately boarded the ship or either stayed back for distance support. The Water-Type Pokemon also swarmed towards the Plasma Frigate. Not only that, but the ones that showed up were wearing armour.

Rarity had made armour for most of the Pokemon here with the resources she could find. And she even went the distance of giving them ones that matched with their physiology.

And as a bonus, everyone was energized, thanks to the cooking of Pinkie Pie. So no one would feel sluggish. Full stomachs meant full strength. Aside from that, Ghetsis had arrived where Ash was, staring him down.

"So you're awake. So much for that illusion." Ghetsis said. "If I could find your resting place, I would've destroyed you long ago."

"Sorry. Aura Coating only allows certain individuals in." Ash replied with a smirk. "You were never gonna get there in the first place anyway."

"Then, I'll just make this place your new resting place. So that everyone can see it and know that the Thunder Creature and Creature Master had been defeated by me." Ghetsis declared. "Generations of Dark Lords have failed to find you. But now the universe has delivered you to me as an act of providence. Once I defeat you, everyone will acknowledge me as the world's greatest and ruler of all."

"Oh yeah?" Ash tightened his gloves. "You talk big, but can you back it up?"

"Pikachu!"

"Oh, I most certainly can. Hydreigon!" Ghetsis raised his arm. "Crush them with Brutal Swing!"

"Hydrei!" The Brutal Pokemon flew in, attacking first with its head-arms covered in a dark aura.

"Pikachu, Iron Tail, go!"

"Chu...Pika!" Pikachu leapt of Ash's shoulder, swinging his hardened tail. Pikachu and Hydreigon had now clashed, engaging in a Pokemon Battle for the first time.

While that goes on, the Water-Types and Flying-Types had boarded the ship. The Plasma Frigate was now full of Pokemon inside, going against Guild Plasma while Wailord just sat there. It was playing its part by keeping everyone safe.

And as the Pokemon were occupied with them all, that allowed Twilight and the others to enter the ship, not engaging in any conflict so far. All they had to do was look for everyone that had been taken.

And thankfully, with the little amount of magic they both had, Celestia and Luna would guide them. They appeared as projections.

"Twilight. Everyone. Head north and to the west." Celestia said as a Water-Type move had passed through her projection. "Then, head to the second deck."

"Okay!" Twilight nodded as she and her friends followed Celestia's direction. They would have to avoid the crossfire of Pokemon moves, however. Either friend or foe.

Audino and Slurpuff were playing their part, trying to track down the scent of the Pokemon, humans and ponies that they were familiar with. As they moved, Fluttershy and the others noticed how Twilight's horn was flashing. Not only that, but the visage of wings also flickering on her sides.

"Oh! Twilight!" Fluttershy called out. "You're on the verge of becoming an alicorn!"

"I am?!" She looked at her flickering wings. "Oh! So that-"

"Ahead of you, Twilight Sparkle!" Luna's projection passed by, giving a warning as Twilight's words had been cut off. By a group of opposing Weezing that had shown up. And of course, the grunts that owned them. Twilight came to a screeching halt as she almost bumped into a Weezing.

"Weezing!"

"Ah!" Twilight gasped.

"Espeon!" But, acting quickly, Espeon had used Psychic to blow the Poison-Type aside. She also made them crash right into their trainers, causing them to fall over.

"Thanks, Eve! Let's keep going!"

Twilight and her friends had then advanced north before turning west like how Celestia said. The Plasma Frigate was starting to fall apart with all of the actions ongoing.

Meanwhile, Colress was readying the Stone-Turning Cannon. Just in case someone barges in here, they would immediately become stone. He aimed it at the door before checking its energy. But as he did so, there was one stowaway within the ship. Someone that had hitched a ride earlier without no one noticing.

Adagio.

She was currently hiding amidst the chaos with her back in a corner. She had seen Colress set up the cannon, knowing what kind of power it held. After all, it turned her mentor into stone. Adagio held her breath, making sure not to notify Colress.

"There. This should be enough to cover a whole corridor." Colress stood up after checking the cannon. He then aimed it at the door, anticipating for someone to open it.

Adagio scrunched her face, knowing she had to do something or else she could not only be stuck here forever but failing Celestia as her student. Something she couldn't let happen. She had too much pride within her. So, acting on her own volition, Adagio had used her magic.

A swift magic beam was sent towards the cannon, piercing through it. Adagio had just as much potential as Twilight, even in this story. The beam pierced through the cannon, starting Colress with sparks flying as a gaping hole was now left in it.

"Oh!" Colress backed up as the cannon was damaged. He then looked over to see the source of the blast. Adagio quickly hid her head, but it was too late. Colress had seen her. "You!"

"Mm..." Adagio showed herself from the corner with a grin. "Hehe."

In response, Colress held out his Poke Ball, sending his Klingklang out. "Klingklang!" Adagio had drawn attention to herself, but not too much. That was better than grabbing the attention of the entire guild.

"Klingklang, Thunderbolt!"

"Klin...!" The Gear Pokemon started building up electricity to blast Adagio.

"Gah!" Adagio screeched before making a run for it. Or rather a fly. She used her siren wings to fly over Klingklang before it could use Thunderbolt. She then went for the door, hoping to open it in time.

"Klang!" Too late. Much like the speed of thunder, Klingklang had unleashed 100,000 volts. Adagio was still fairly quick. But not quick to cast a spell to stop Thunderbolt. Instead, the next best thing.

Dodge. She flew to the side, allowing Thunderbolt to hit the door instead. One hit and the door had been blasted off, giving Adagio the chance to escape.

"Thanks~" She whistled, waving her hoof at Colress and Klingklang before flying through the door and leaving. "Bye!"

"Curses!" Colress slammed his fist on the cannon. He then realized that he wasn't making the cannon any better as it had been damaged. "Now it can only fire one shot. But one shot is good enough."

With Ash and Ghetsis, they were still batting high up with their Pokemon. They had also moved from mountain to mountain with Ash gaining the assistance of some Flying-Types to move around.

"Pikachu, use Electroweb!" Ash commanded while on the back of a Pidgeot. Ghetsis was using his Hydreigon as a means of flying through the air.

"Pika-Pika!" Pikachu tossed a web of electricity while lunging off the head of Pidgeot. Hydreigon ripped the web in half with Fire Fang. The Brutal Pokemon then pursued the Electric-Type, but not before unleashing a Dragon Pulse.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Pidgeot, get a hit in with Aerial Ace!" He also had Pidgeot assist in this battle.

"Pidgeot!" Pidgeot swooped forward at blinding speeds while Pikachu countered the Dragon Pulse with Thunderbolt. They had cancelled each other out afterwards. After that, Hydreigon was met with a sneak attack from Pidgeot. The Bird Pokemon had struck his stomach with his wings as it flew by.

"Drei!"

"Nice!" Ash cheered after the initial hit as Pidgeot flew back to catch Pikachu. Ghetsis scoffed before putting his hand out. He sent a black flame to try and shoot down Pidgeot from the sky.

Pidgeot manoeuvred through the skies as the flames chased it down. Hydreigon had also recovered, following Pidgeot and allowing Ghetsis' arm to track the Bird Pokemon. One of the flames ended up striking Pidgeot's wings after Ghetsis expanded it. That threw the Bird Pokemon off balance.

"Pi-Pidgeot!" Pidgeot cried ut.

"You did good, Pidgeot! Head back and rest!" Ash said before he and Pikachu jumped off Pidgeot. They allowed the Bird Pokemon to fly away. Ash and Pikachu were now falling with nothing to catch them.

Except there was. Mantine came flying in, catching the two of them. "Mantine!" The Kite Pokemon cried out before soaring through the skies and using Water Pulse to cancel out Ghetsis' dark flames.

"Awesome, Mantine! Now use Supersonic!"

"Mantiiiine." Mantine generated odd sound waves from its body, sending them towards Hydreigon. The Brutal Pokemon's ears had been punished with this sound. All 6 of them.

"Now, Iron Tail!"

"Pika-Pika...Chu-Pi!" Pikachu leapt off Ash's hardening his tail and giving Hydreigon a hard smack in the face with Iron Tail while he was confused.

"H-Hydrei!" The Brutal Pokemon was befuddled in more than one way. Ghetsis scoffed before using his Dark Magic to create a back whirlwind. The whirlwind had blown Pikachu away while also harming him. "Pika!"

"Pikachu!" Ash quickly caught Pikachu with Mantine flying by.

"Snap out of it!" Ghetsis used his Dark Magic to break Hydreigon's confused state by attacking his mind. The Brutal Pokemon was no longer confused.

"Dreigon!"

"Now, Giga Impact!"

"Hydrei!" Hydreigon then cloaked himself and Ghetsis in an invisible white energy before boosting through the air like a rocket.

"Hydro Pump, go!"

"Man...tine!" Mantine quickly replied with an amazing powerful move as well. A huge volume of water launched under great pressure, clashing with Hydreigon. Hydreigon had the superior output as he broke through the Hydro Pump. "Man?!"

"Hydreigon!" Hydreigon then crashed into Mantine, blowing it, Ash and Pikachu away.

"Woah!" Ash and Pikachu cried out as they were being hurled through the air after the initial hit.

"Pika-Pika!"

"Let's put an end to this! Draco Meteor!"

"Hy...Drei!" A sphere of bright orange energy formed inside of Hydreigon's mouth as it was fired into the sky. Up there, the sphere exploded, releasing multiple gigantic spheres of draconic energy that rained down. Not only did this threaten Ash and Pikachu, but also everyone within the area.

This included the Flying-Types. Once the meteors started coming down, the Flying-Type Pokemon had been hit by these attacks. Not all of them, but most of them, considering the abundance of meteors.

That went for the Pokemon in the water and even those within the Plasma Frigate. Similar to how the meteors rained down back in Crossville. Mantine quickly recovered, trying to evade all of the incoming meteors. Ghetsis watched as Hydreigon's destruction started flooding the skies, land and sea.

Pokemon on both sides had been struck. Good or bad. The frigate trembled as Twilight and her friends all felt the tremor, almost losing their balance. Some meteors had been broken through the ship, almost hitting them. Twilight and everyone backed up, only to have another meteor crash through in between them.

They gasped as more of them broke through the ship violently. They were now separated with these massive chunks of rocks in their way. Not only that, but explosions were going off due to this. And they were only increasing in amounts.

"Twilight!" Fluttershy cried out before another meteor came crashing through.

"Braviary!" Braviary had used Superpower to shatter the rocks that had separated them. They had all reunited in that instance thanks to Braviary. However, there was still more to handle.

"Audino!" Audino quickly used Protect to shield her friends from the incoming explosions and meteors. However, she wasn't enough. Rarity chimed in by using her magic to add an extra shield. But that wasn't enough either.

Then, from above, the biggest meteor so far was about to drop on the Plasma Frigate. One hit and it could destroy everyone on board. Just the one meteor. Protect and Rarity's shield would not stop this. Twilight knew her own shield wouldn't either even when added.

But either way, she did not want to lose her friends. So, just like how she reacted when her parents were in danger, Twilight's emotions allowed her alicorn magic to show itself. Her shield had been used as the flickering wings were starting to materialize into actual wings.

"Emotion?" Luna intervened once more.

Reality.

"Did you know about how I became an alicorn? Did my sister tell you?" Luna asked.

"You became an alicorn by emotion?" Darkrai replied.

"I was feeling emotional that day, so in a sense, yes. Achoo!" She sneezed. "Sometimes, emotions hep with magic. Isn't that wonderful?"

"Hm." Darkrai nodded as the mood had been set to a hopeful one. Manectric's electricity was used to create some light in the darkness that Darkrai had made via Discharge. "Well, here comes the climax. In that instance, the young unicorn had released the reserves of her magic, much like how she reacted to the status of her parents. For her friends, she had become the fourth princess. An alicorn."

A massive shield of magic was what shielded them all from the gigantic meteor and explosions. The meteor had been pushed back by telekinetic control, flung to the far reaches of the land. Twilight had saved them all. Not only that, but she had become an alicorn in this instance.

Her wings spread out as her horn was radiating brighter magic than she usually has. Her friends gawked as the fourth alicorn had been revealed, sending away an entire meteor and putting an end to these explosions. Twilight felt dizzy afterwards.

"Woah..." She said, almost falling over as Rainbow Dash caught her. "D-Did I...Did I do it?"

"You sure did! And you're an alicorn now!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed before Twilight noticed her wings. She had a prolonged gasp before Pinkie Pie blew confetti in her face.

But this was no time to celebrate as things were still escalating. The projection of Celestia and Luna showed up as their magic was weakening. They had witnessed the birth of a new alicorn.

"Well done, Twilight," Celestia said. "But we can celebrate later. Hurry along. If you keep moving, you could encounter Adagio."

"Adagio's here?" Twilight said before flying. However, she wasn't used to flying as she had just gotten wings. So she ended up crashing into a wall instead. "Oof!"

Meanwhile, Ghetsis had seen how the meteor had been sent away and the burst of magic. Disappointment filled his face along with anger.

"How frustrating. But, in all honesty, I should've known that somehow you and your antics would tip the scales." He spoke before facing Ash. "But no matter. I haven't lost yet. All I have to do is defeat you, and morale will be greatly decreased."

"We'll see about that," Ash smirked.

"Pikachu!"

"Hydreigon! End this with Dragon Rush!"

"Hydreigon!" Hydreigon released a blue, dragon-shaped energy that covers his body. Even Ghetsis had to get off for this as he landed on the nearest mountain.

"Pikachu! Quick Attack and Thunderbolt!"

"Pika!" Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulder, shooting a Thunderbolt into the sky. He then merged Quick Attack with Thunderbolt as the bolt of 100,000 volts came crashing down on him. Pikachu absorbed the lightning as he moved through the skies at lightning speeds. This was the Makeshift Volt Tackle.

And it was very effective. He crashed right into the head of Hydreigon as Ash closed his eyes while still on Mantine. Pikachu and Hydreigon were clashing, trying to overcome each other.

But as that was going on, Spike came in with his assistance. He had summoned the assistance of his Dragons. Not just the ones he owns, but also does from his land where he rules. Ghetsis watched as a plethora of dragons started approaching over the horizon with Spike on Salamence's back.

"What?!" Ghetsis gasped before facing the ship. "Colress!"

Colress heard the cry of Ghetsis as he had brought the cannon outside. It was heavy, but nothing a few wheels could solve. Colress ducked, avoiding all incoming Pokemon moves that just happened to pass by. "I'm here, Lord Ghetsis!"

"Turn them all to stone!"

"Yes!" Colress then aimed the cannon at all of the dragons up ahead. Not only that but also Ash and Mantine while Pikachu was distracted. Colress could only use one shot with the cannon since Adagio had damaged it. But that one shot was good enough.

"Not good!" Mantine, get in close and use Air Sash!" Ash ordered before Mantine flew in. At the same time, Colress had unleashed the beam from the cannon, right towards Spike and the others. It looked like it would be a direct hit as Ghetsis grinned. It was even going for Ash.

Until Ash found a good alternative to stopping the beam. He had taken off his long cloak, throwing it at the incoming beam. And by doing so, the beam reacted to the cloak, turning it to stone. It wasn't continuous. Meaning it couldn't just break through. Even with its massive radius.

"!" Both Ghetsis and Colress gasped as the beam had failed. Mantine then flew in, slashing the cannon apart with Air Slash. Colress moved back as the already damaged cannon was now damaged even more. Even sliced up thanks to Mantine. However, it was still functional. But not in the right way. It was out of control.

Beams started shooting out of the cannon uncontrollably with Colress having no control. Everyone moved out of the way to avoid being turned to stone as the cannon moved in random directions also.

"Pika...Pika...Pika!" Pikachu cried out as he tried breaking through. He and Hydreigon seemed equal. Until Spike had an idea.

"To all those that know some Electric-Type attacks! Focus it on Pikachu!" With that command, all of the Dragons that had some Electric-Type attacks with them focused it all on the Mouse Pokemon.

Pikachu was immediately given extra electricity from moves. Mostly Thunder and Thunderbolt since Dragon-Types can only learn so many Electric-Type moves. But it was just enough.

"Pika?" Pikachu gasped as he could feel all of it enter him. A much needed and welcome gift. The Mouse Pokemon smiled as he now had the necessary strength. "Pika...Chuuu!"

"H-Hy!" Hydreigon was unable to retaliate against this superior strength. Thus, the Makeshift Volt Tackle had defeated Dragon Rush, knocking the Brutal Pokemon away" Hydrei!"

"Oh!" Ghetsis gasped. Not because his Hydreigon had been overcome and defeated, but also because Hydreigon crashed into him. "Ough!"

Both Hydreigon and Ghetsis were knocked off the mountain together as Mantine swooped in, allowing Ash to catch Pikachu. As they both fell, one of the beams from the cannon had struck them. Ghetsis and Hydreigon were unable to know this due to their eyes being closed. But they certainly felt something for a split second. They had been turned to stone.

"Whoops..." Colress backed away, whistling as he wanted no part in this. He then ran off as fast as he could. Ghetsis and Hydreigon fell, landing on Wailord's body. After their immediate fall, Guild Plasma looked over to see that their ruler had been defeated.

And just like what Ghetsis said, morale would be greatly diminished. However, it didn't happen on Ash's side. It even went a step further. This also meant total defeat for Guild Plasma without their ruler and weapon to carry them to victory. They had lost.

"Nice." Ash gave a thumbs up to Pikachu and Mantine.

"Pika-Pika!"

"Mantine!"

After the initial defeat of Dark Lord Ghetsis and Guild Plasma, the princesses were freed via a collective spell from Twilight and Adagio. But mostly Adagio since she was more experienced than Twilight. They could not free everyone at once since they had their limits, but they knew Celestia and Luna could. As they freed them first, they allowed the two sisters to do the rest.

With their magic, everyone had been removed from their petrified state. Being brought back after being turned to stone was an odd and cold feeling. Gasping for air is the first reaction and natural one.

"Oh geez..." Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom groaned, sitting down. The moment they were brought back, they had been picked up by their big sisters with potent bear hugs. "Oof!"

And as a bonus, Guild Plasma had surrendered, with Colress running off. His whereabouts were unknown. But Ghetsis was currently being held by one of the Golurk along with Hydreigon.

Th-

"And they all lived happily ever after?" Luna spoke.

"That's how the story ends, correct? It's been a while since I've been read it so..."

"Well..." Darkrai flipped through the pages. "There are still some parts left. A few more pages. Then an epilogue that immediately goes right into the sequel of this story. In fact, I even skipped ahead for this. You see, there was this whole chapter of all of her friends coming together to unlock a hidden power together, and even a page where the Great Dragons heads back to his land to recruit the dragons. But I skipped that one."

"How many of that did you skip?" She sniffled.

"At least...120 pages worth," Darkrai said. "You wanted it to be quick, remember?"

"Yes. That is my fault and word." Luna nodded. "Well, can you at least end it?"

"Alright. And so, with all said and done, the new princess was born, the Thunder Creature and Creature Master went off on their own adventure as the free spirits they were, blah blah blah, the Dark Lord was imprisoned, something about the helper of the Dark Lord returning for revenge and done!" Darkrai closed the book. "That's the end. How was that?"

"I liked it." She smiled. "Short stories give me peace. Thank you for reading it to me, Darkrai. And to my sister as well. I wonder what's taking her so-"

Right in the nick of time, but too late to finish the story herself was Celestia. She had teleported inside of the room with her mane a mess. A horrid mess with a tired out face. "I'm back."

"Sister!" Luna sat up, feeling a bit better. "How did it go? The discussion about the civil war?"

"Well..." Celestia sighed. "Audino managed to calm them all done. Who knew Heal Pulse could be used in such a way...But other than that, rowdy Pikachu are an absolute nightmare to be around."

"She's right you know." Darkrai nodded. He's had his fair share of nightmares with Pikachu.

"Well, welcome back anyway. I'm feeling a bit better now. Plus, I've just gone through a brilliant story. Isn't that right, Darkrai?"

"Hm." Darkrai nodded.

"Aw...I wanted to end it off." Celestia mumbled with her head lowering. Luna went up to her for comfort.

"But other than that, you and Darkrai were great storytellers," Luna said, making Celestia smile.

"Thank you, Luna." The two of them burrowed each other as Darkrai descended into the shadows. His work here was done along with the rest of the Pokemon. "So! How about the second part of the story? I still have the second book!"

"Uh...maybe another time. When you're sick." Luna chuckled, teasing her big sister.

A nice story for the Princess of the Night by both her sister and partner. While it may all be fiction, that story certainly had some parallels to reality that they could write home about. Perhaps, even some foreshadowing. But that would be absurd, as the journey continues.
