//------------------------------// // Cleaved Space // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Kanto. Pallet Town. Ketchum Household. Nightfall. Back in the Pokemon World, the miniature variations of Cosmos were still very rampant. Despite Cosmos' control on many bodies being released, her smaller duplicates remained and were still a problem. "Infernape! Please use Flamethrower! Staraptor, Brave Bird!" Over at the Ketchum Household, Delia Ketchum along with Ash's Pokemon were fending off these miniature Spirits of Malice's. All of their anger had been targeted towards Cosmos which is something Cosmos would usually adore and revel in, but not when she was being attacked. "Infernape!" Infernape had held his breath, puffing his chest before unleashing a giant blast of fire that had engulfed the miniature Cosmos'. Staraptor meanwhile had blown past some of them with a golden aura while moving at great speeds. "Bayleef, Razor Leaf! And Snivy, Leaf Storm, if you will!" "Vy! Snivy!" Snivy jumped into the air and multiple glowing green leaves start spinning around her body. Whilst she summoned those leaves, Bayleef had extended her vines, wrapping them around the pint-sized Cosmos', restraining them. That gave Snivy the chance to blast them with Leaf Storm. All of the smaller Cosmos' screamed as they were overwhelmed by the storm of leaves, disappearing immediately. The blast of fire that Infernape had used immediately broke through the house. The wonderful Ketchum Household was being damaged in the process. And approaching his home after learning about Cosmos showing up in the Pokemon World was Ash. He had jumped through the gateway from Ponyville, arriving at Pallet Town. The moment he passed through and got up to the door, he was met with a giant blast of fire. "Yikes!" Ash and Pikachu grimaced as the large blast of fire had passed right by them, almost catching them in its fury. Despite how close that was, Ash recognized those flames anywhere. It was most definitely Flamethrower. And with that final assault from Infernape and Snivy's attacks, the Cosmos' within the Ketchum Household had been defeated. After the door had been blown away, Ash ran inside to see that his mother and a few of his Pokemon had finished things up the moment he arrived. He was right in believing that his mother was in good hands as long as she had a Pokemon by her side. And it was clear as day that it was the stunning truth. "Mom!" Ash cried out to her. "Hm? Ash!" Delia ran to Ash, immediately holding her hands out. After the horrible things Cosmos had shown her, Delia felt like hugging him like there was no tomorrow. She picked Ash up with the strength of her hug, causing his eyes to widen with a slight cough coming out of him. "I knew you would be alright! Those horrible images were nothing but fiction and illusion!" "G-Great to see you're okay, mom! Thanks for being there, you guys." He then looked at the Pokemon. "Staraptor!" Staraptor saluted along with the others nodding in unison. "Of course! "You and your family are going to pay!" The last remaining miniature Cosmos could be seen on the table, barking at Ash and the others. "I am everywhere right now! Think you can handle mass numbers on a global scale?! Let alone in two worlds?!" "Everyone will be fine," Ash replied, facing the small Spirit of Malice. "They're all strong just like my mom here. Even if you're everywhere, they've got the skills to beat you." "Pikachu." "Curses...!" Cosmos hated that Ash was right as she ended up vanishing. That was the last of the clones within this household. However, there were still more out there, especially within Pallet Town and beyond. But much like inside this home and everywhere else, there were those who wouldn't let Cosmos trample over them and cause all the chaos that she wanted. "I still don't quite understand what's going on here," Delia spoke. "Why did she look so much like Discord? And what's this about her being everywhere in the world?" "Eh...it's a lot. I'll tell you all about it when it's all done. Right now, I gotta head back and stop Cosmos from getting her full body back." Ash turned away. "Everything's fine here, so Pikachu and I gotta make sure nothing goes wrong back at Equestria. Or that world's entire Earth." "Hold it." Sombra intervened, appearing as a shadow before nudging his head towards the stairs. "The ring. Take the ring immediately while you're still here." "My Z-Ring? Oh, right!" Ash rushed upstairs as the former ruler of the Crystal Empire constantly suggested that Ash should take his ring. He knew how powerful it was considering that it took part in his defeat. Ash arrived in his room, scanning it for a bit. It was a miracle that his room was still in one piece considering the scuffle that had occurred. There it was. The Z-Ring along with the Pikachunium Z. Sitting next to his Alola League Trophy and some of his Gym Badge cases from various regions. The Kid from Kanto swiped it from the table before leaving the room with it. He had brought along some serious firepower with him, only via Sombra's suggestion. "I'm heading out!" Ash cried out as if he was going out on a normal night. But right now, everything was far from normal. "Have a nice night! Come back soon, okay?!" Delia replied as if this was also a normal night. But then again, even with Cosmos' attacking and spreading chaos, the Pokemon World was so full of possibilities that a normal night, even with the magic of chaos, can be very vague. Equestria. Out in the mountains. Near the Pixie Plains. "Mew! Use Max Mindstorm!" Meanwhile, Twilight and Pinkie Pie were dealing with their own miniature Cosmos' as well as Mew had recently Dynamaxed. "MEW!" Mew had put his hands on his head before channelling his endless resource of Psychic Energy into this one attack. The first one he'll ever do. Thanks to Psyshock, he could use this Dynamax attack as it appeared in the form of swirling mental energy with multiple layers. The miniature Cosmos' felt restrained and immobile as a telekinetic hold had outlined them. Mew kept them in place, preventing them from going anywhere before unleashing the swirling energy and its many layers downwards. The clones had been crushed under Dynamax Mew's Max Mindstorm. The mountains had been levitated by Mew's heightened Psychic capabilities. The duplicates had vanished, but there were still some of them remaining along with those giant earth arms. Once Mew had finished using Max Mindstorm, these earth arms had grabbed his tail and his arms via returning to the ground before emerging once more. "MEW?" "You only have three attacks with Dynamax, Pinkie! So make it count! Eve, use Psychic! Togekiss! Blow those arms away with Sky Attack!" "Slurpuff! Fairy Wind! All together!" "Toge!" Togekiss came charging in at high speeds, enveloping herself in a golden aura before breaking off one of the arms. Espeon stood from afar, wrapping her Psychic hold onto one of the arms before then crushing them to bits. Twilight assisted via her magic, releasing it in the form of a beam as it had cleaved off the arms. The winds of the 6 Slurpuff had blown away parts of the rocks via a Fairy Tornado. Some of these rocks ended up hitting the smaller Cosmos' as collateral damage. Mew only had two more goes while within his Dynamaxed State. The arms had shattered, but not before transforming into sharper rocks that were as large as the mountains themselves. These rocks were then thrown at Mew, Togekiss and Espeon respectively. "Oh!" Twilight gasped before using her magic to put up a massive shield around all three of them. The jagged rocks had then smashed against the shield, almost piercing it. "Mew! Fly west!" Pinkie Pie shouted. "MEW-MEW!" The New Species Pokemon started flying to the west, however, the larger body made him slightly slower. Twilight and the others promptly followed Mew as it forced Cosmos' to follow all of them. "Get back here! Are you giving up already?!" Cosmos taunted, believing that they were retreating. All of these miniature malice beings were right behind them, throwing a stream of chaotic magic in their direction. However, Mew going west was part of one simple yet effective plan. Since they were near the Pixie Plains, Fairy Magic was prominent. "Eve, use Psychic! Togekiss, Aura Sphere!" Twilight shouted while using her magic to repel Cosmos' attacks. They gave Mew enough time to focus and head straight for the Pixie Plains. "Only two moves left...Mew! Use Max Knuckle!" "MEW-MEW-MEW!" Mew then turned around, nearing the Pixie Plains as he had then flailed his arms. Straight from the skies, breaking through the chaotic clouds was a gigantic glowing fist. The Cosmos' all looked up in shock as this fist was enough to crush most of them. Some of them managed to split up while the rest were smashed by Max Knuckle. The giant fist had crashed into the ground, leaving a visible dent in it. Mew only had one more attempt in his Dynamax state before it would come to an end. The Cosmos' all shouted out with bursting rage as they caused the mountains to not only extend in size but manipulated them to start crashing down on Mew and his friends as if a building was coming down. "Last go! Mew! Max Guard!" Pinkie Pie closed her eyes as Mew's last Dynamax Attack had been used. "MEW!" And it was one that truly mattered. Mew put his arms out, forming a shield that was as large as his entire body. And it was certainly enough as the giant shield had nullified, negated and blocked the mountains from landing a direct hit. Cosmos then turned the last mountain into an explosive, setting it off instantly. That last exploding mountain had shattered Mew's Max Guard, blowing everyone back. "M-MEW!" Mew's last moments in his Dynamax state had come. The moment he was blown back as the same moment he had returned to normal. Thankfully, no one had been harmed. Twilight flapped her wings whilst Togekiss had caught both Espeon and Pinkie Pie. Mew had recovered himself despite being winded for a bit. Their movements came to an immediate halt as the rubble from the mountains dropped from above. They took some time to recover with Mew spinning around. Mewie flew over, keeping her fellow New Species Pokemon stable before he fell over. "She's certainly persistent and relentless," Twilight commented, slightly praising Cosmos for being this persistent in making sure she succeeded. "Are you done now?" Cosmos commented as her remaining duplicates hovered over Twilight's group. "That giant form of yours was short but sweet, wasn't it? A shame. It looked like a genuine threat there. I suppose that pink cat knows what it's like to have limits now. But that won't last for me once I'm back in full form." "Mew doesn't need an extra-large form to beat you." Pinkie Pie replied. "Besides. We just needed the right spot to weaken you, that's all." "Mew-Mew." "The right spot?" The Spirit of Malice squinted her eyes, wondering what Pinkie Pie was eluding to. Abruptly, 10 seconds after being here, that's when the magic of the Pixie Plains had registered. This mystical sensation had licked in for these miniature duplicates as they recognized this feeling. Fairy Magic. "No...No! Not this!" Once she felt it, each of the Cosmos' had cringed and twitched. The presence of Fairy Magic within this area was enough to make them all uneasy, especially in this small body. All according to plan. Twilight and Pinkie Pie looked at each other, having devious grins on their faces after lurking Cosmos into this trap. Now that she was immobilized via the feeling of Fairy Magic, they both spoke in unison to Togekiss and Mew. "Aura Sphere!" In unison, Togekiss and Mew had used Aura Sphere. They got close together to make sure that it had the right amount of power needed. The spheres linked up together before being thrown at the same time. The correlating Auras worked well together as they merged into one larger Aura Sphere. Cosmos was vulnerable. Unable to act or move thanks to the lovely Fairy Magic that radiated throughout these plains. Thus, Aura Sphere was free to hit all of her miniature duplicates. It was certainly large enough to do so. That was the last thing the duplicates saw before being consumed by the sphere. An azure flare that was the cause of two different Auras going off had emerged, lighting up the night sky. And speaking of the night sky, the explosion of the Aura had also blown the clouds away. The Chaotic Storm had come to an end, revealing the silver Moon. "Hah...Done and done." Twilight lowered her head, relieved that it was over. At least this part. Cosmos was still very much active and continuing on her goal to return in full. Not only that, but since it was nightfall, they have been at this little escape for hours now and there was no sign of it slowing down. "Great job, all of you!" Pinkie Pie applauded her 6 Slurpuff and the two Mews. She sat down with both Mews circling her. "Glad that's over with." "It's not though." Twilight shook her head. "Far from it. There's still something that's bothering me." "What do you mean? All we have to do is find the rest of our friends, right? And it'll be all done." "Those were just smaller Cosmos'. The real one is still out there...and with the body of Cynthia to boot. Canterlot might still be in trouble even if we've won here." "But she sent them here for a reason, right? Maybe she's getting desperate?" "She's already desperate, Pinkie. Lucien and Sienna are by her side, so she'll know how history originally goes. The location of the other Andalusian Stars will be out in the open for her. We have to keep moving. No time to take a break. And I need to get Absol back." "I gotcha Twilight. But...Absol's still in that other dimension though. How are we gonna reach him?" "The only one I can think of who can help us is Discord. He's a draconequus like her with the same magic. I hope he's already helping out right now. Come on." Twilight and Pinkie continued on their path to find their friends. The 6 Slurpuff went back to picking up on their scents with Mew turning into Luga once more. Equestria. Canterlot. Nightfall. Over at Canterlot, Cosmos' malicious reign continued. She still kept the body of Cynthia as that was her main vessel. Her body felt the Aura, Fairy Magic and Arceus' light that had broken her control over so many ponies, Pokemon and a few humans. Naturally, Cosmos' showed a colossal disdain for the ones that had taken away her possessed bodies. It was virulent to her as she could still feel the effects. Cynthia's body had resisted it. However, despite what had just happened and knowing that Ash and the others were heading here to Canterlot, a smile had been put on her face. That was because, appearing at Canterlot via teleportation, were Lucien and Sienna. The two Rift Humans who knew of the location of the remaining Andalusian Stars. They appeared before Cosmos as she had high hopes upon seeing them. "Oh, it's a joy to see you. Truly. I assume that now that you're here...you have the other stars?" "We do. Only one of them, though." Lucien replied as he held out one Andalusian Star. "This one was near Klugetown, but no one found it. Since you weren't supposed to come back until next year in the original timeline, no one from Klugetown had touched it yet. Or at least, they didn't put it up for sale. It was just near the outskirts." "And the others?" "The other one is at Griffonstone. And the last one is at the Crystal Empire." Sienna answered. "After that, all 6 of them will be back to you." "Excellent. I should thank you for getting one for me. Give it here." Cosmos used her magic to bring the star over to her. It was drawn to her after all. "The substitute Andalusian Star that was made from the Rift Magic has proven to be useful...If I were to gather one more star, that would be equal to six. But I suppose seven of them would boost things up a bit, wouldn't they?" "Yeah, I guess." Lucien shrugged. "Not sure what seven would do, honestly." "So is this technically the fourth of fifth star?" "Both." Cosmos started laughing quietly before increasing the volume. Once she turned the Andalusian Star into a bracelet for her to wear, her arms were trembling. Her chaos magic had shown itself, radiating its usual dark pink colour. However, it had intensified ten-fold. It wrapped around the throne while also shaking the throne room. Cosmos closed her eyes, letting the magic flow as her laughter continued. She then opened her eyes as a flare of magic burst out of them. She was feeling greater than ever. "Ah, well done, Rift Humans!" Cosmos spoke as Lucien and Sienna were being pushed back. "Two Andalusian Stars! All mine!" "Something's not right..." Lucien gasped as he got on one knee. "Her magic seems far greater than it should be even with the 4th...or 5th...whatever star with her." "It's our Rift Energy!" Sienna realized where this overwhelming force was coming from. "Not only does it replace the 5th star, but it has even greater influence the more stars she gets back! In the original timeline, even with the stars she gathered before the 6th, she could never do any of what she's currently done! I didn't think out Rift Energy would have this much influence!" "Hrrgh...!" Cosmos growled as she was taking in all of this overwhelming magic. It was close to what she was truly capable of. "It seems so! Looks like Chaos Magic and Rift Energy are just like Electricity and Water! If that was the case in the original timeline, then consider myself beyond my prime! This will only make my full resurrection greater!" "Oh, man..." Lucien and Sienna sat down, stunned by how much of an increase Cosmos had received with the current star. "Ah..." She took a deep breath, letting all of the magic naturally rest within her. "Oh. And I'd say that this is the fourth star. Let's leave it at that. Now then...with so much of my magic back, getting the rest of them will be easier than ever. This time, I will set out to find them on my own." "And us?" Sienna leaned forward. "You will still come with me. You are most definitely useful. I could also use some servants in my new kingdom. But before that...they're expecting me here at Canterlot. Those Pokemon Trainers. I would love to see them here when they show up, but I can't afford to waste time..." Cosmos pondered for a bit. "Servants?" Lucien and Sienna looked at each other. "Ah. I know. I'll just cut space in half!" "Come again?" The Rift Siblings blinked as they were hoping they heard her right. "Here!" Cosmos didn't hesitate. She showed them exactly what she meant. Everything she did was literal to the core. With her heightened magic being close to her prime, possibly exceeding it, she showcased the lengths of her Chaos Magic. Cosmos used the body of Cynthia to take on an astral form. She became a gigantic wisp that still had Cynthia's body, but mainly her hair and her upper body. The lower half was more akin to that of a tornado and a lightning bolt combined. After becoming this Chaotic Astral Being, Cosmos had grown to a titanic size. She phased through the castle as the residents of Ponyville, who were still dancing near the pit of fire while their Pokemon were trapped in those orbs near the flames, had looked up to see the emergence of this gigantic astral entity. Her laugh was even louder, passing through all the skies of Equestria and beyond. Once she was up there, she could be seen from afar. Deerling Forest, the Pikachu Highlands, Kingdra Durance, Exploud Valley and so on. Her giant astral form had a vibrant yet dark and eerie pink appearance to it. Many could see it, especially those that were approaching Canterlot, AKA, Fluttershy and everyone else. Once she was so high up that her head went above the clouds, she had summoned massive scissors and just as she said seconds ago, she was about to indeed, without a doubt, personally, cut space. These scissors were certainly large enough and had the power to do so. "Just a little snip..." Cosmos dug the scissors into what seemed to be the air itself. The sky could be seen being pierced as if someone was poking a bed sheet. It was surreal to the eyes as the scissors pierced right through. Naturally, affecting space itself caused a powerful disturbance. With the sky itself being pierced by Cosmos' scissors, everything was shaking. The clouds trembled, but not with thunder. They were visibly shaking as if they had become solid once more under Cosmos' influence. It didn't just shake this sky. The gateways were fully connected to the Pokemon World as Cosmos' actions reached there, much like how her Chaos Storm affected that world due to how powerful it was. The skies of the Pokemon World quaked with visible cracks showing. It certainly wasn't the strangest thing that had ever happened in that world, but it was up there. And for everyone to see unless they were asleep. Like Komala. And once the scissors were deep enough, Cosmos completed the task. With one snip, she had cut space in half. The fabric of space itself was catastrophic as the stars themselves had been seen, only to be then completely overshadowed by Chaos Magic with had an assortment of colours that did not mesh well with each other. "No way she just did that..." Lucien's jaw had dropped. "I think she did..." Sienna almost felt like fainting, only for Lucien to hold her up. Everyone had a similar reaction to her. The residents of Ponyville stopped dancing to just look at this. There was now this massive cut that revealed the horrific Chaos Magic to their eyes with the slight appearance of space. All of Cosmos' magic blocked them from seeing it though as the cut was so powerful that it ended up showing the skies of the Pokemon World. In a weird wobbly appearance, the Pokemon World had been seen after being breached. The cut had wrapped around both worlds and their skies, almost making a perfect circle in the process. "Gahahahaha!" Cosmos clapped her hands, giggling with excitement. "There! That's one way to keep you all connected to your Pokemon forever, eh?! This is wonderful! Oh, how the good times are coming back to me! Are you seeing this, Discord?! This is exactly what we could be doing together soon! And we will!" "That's just not right..." Moondancer shook her head, appalled by what she was seeing. "Now! The last stars! I can do better than this!" Cosmos was now ready to set out for the final Andalusian Stars in Griffonstone and the Crystal Empire. And soon, her true form would return for good. "Ah, but I still want a little bit of assistance. Lucien. Sienna. Get ready to leave." "G-Got it..." They both said as they were too overwhelmed by this. "And for one more assistance...I won't just use this girl's Pokemon. But this Poke Ball is something I need to use as well." Cosmos had then held her hand out, revealing Cynthia's final Poke Ball. The one Pokemon that had not come out yet. Her Lucario. But upon trying to control Lucario via sending Chaos Magic through it, Cosmos was only met with one thing. A horrible sting. The Aura from Lucario radiated through the Poke Ball before then burning Cosmos' hand. "GAH!" She roared in pain. "Oh, forget it! I can't control this ball and whatever is inside it! This thing is worthless!" Seeing that she couldn't do anything to this Poke Ball, Cosmos decided to get rid of it. Aggravated, she threw Lucario's Poke Ball far into the distance, never wanting to see it again. Lucario's Poke Ball vanished into the wind, almost passing through the torn space and entering another universe. Cosmos then left her Chaotic Apparation, returning to Cynthia's normal size. Lucien and Sienna blinked with stunned expressions while Cosmos shrugged it off like a normal thing. "Alright then. It's off to Griffonstone first." As the journey continues. Chapter 790 End.
